Background Information

Now we all know that when a young boy or girl reaches puberty they go through a myriad of physical and emotional changes and, at 12 and a half, I certainly was no exception ... except ...

There are, in this world and others, many legends of all kinds about what we like to call the mythical, mystical and supernatural. However, have you ever stopped to wonder why these stories persist throughout time despite man's continued efforts to find rational explanations or otherwise discredit them? Well, I fit into a small niche, one of those whose existence has been scrupulously kept out of these tales. My name is Jon and I'm ... well, I guess you could say I'm a time traveler but we just call ourselves The Travelers.

Actually, we can only go back and return, never forward in time. After all, the future hasn't happened yet so to go there you would have to be an inter-dimensional traveler. It's much more complicated than that so, if you want to know more about it, you'd have to talk to my cousin Jourgan but, I don't know "when" he is right now. Oops, forget that. I shouldn't have told you that.

Anyhow, I am the youngest son of the youngest son of the youngest son of the youngest son (or, in the case of girls, the youngest daughter, etc.). Each of us who are such, go through a small but wonderful additional change at puberty. We gain the ability to go back in time, insinuate ourselves into a situation just as if we belonged there, do whatever it is that we are there to do and then return to the moment that we left.

Actually, I don't mean to make it sound as though we really can control this ability. We can't. There are many theories amongst our kind as to how it works but the one I like is this; Something goes wrong and the effect of that something moves forward in time and may eventually grow in its influence on the stream of events. Then, eventually, someone of The Travelers is, by an unknown force, "pulled" back to make a small adjustment. Just a little counter-effect to put events back on the proper course. I guest I like this because it implies a higher power, a plan, a reason. Anyhow, when we come back, all memories of our having been there vanish for those with whom we have come into contact and have influenced.

Our very being, our conscience if you will, exerts great pressure on us to do no wrong or harm and since our purpose is only to affect small influences and not change "history", we live rich and rewarding lives of doing good for others. Neither does that mean that we don't have some fun along the way nor does it mean that there aren't those among us who abuse this gift. As in any race of beings, there are bad ones. But, we have been lucky that there have not been many over the eons of time.

So, when something needs doing that The Travelers can help with, we just sort of know about it and go, almost always without warning. There's no self-destructing tape recorder, no clandestine meeting in a dark parking garage or no telepathic contact. We just come to understand what needs to be done and take care of it. When we return, it's like we were never gone, no time has passed. But, the memories remain in our minds and that can lead to some humorous results.

So, at 12 and a half, I reached puberty. Oh, and one other small exception ... I realized that I was gay.

And now the story, another of my travels; my "Island Treasure"

Chapter One - The Talented But Arrogant Brat

It was 1995 and I was 26 now. My boyfriend and I liked to go down to Blockbuster Video and rent old movies. One of my all time favorites was the 1950 version of Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island" with Bobby Driscoll as young Jim Hawkins. Back when I was just a youngster I had fallen in love with the Bobby in this movie and others. He was an adorable boy, small for his 13 years but with the most electrifying smile, shining eyes and delightful dimples.

Back at the house, we had settled down to watch the movie. There was a warm summer evening breeze drifting through the darkened living room. The big screen TV providing the only light. I knew the movie by heart and closed my eyes as I listened to the cute young boy's voice of Bobby Driscoll playing the part of Jim Hawkins. I indulged myself with the fantasies I had of him when I was a young teen and in love. As my arousal increased his voice began to change. It deepened a bit and began to sound somehow more mature.

Suddenly I became aware of the sound of surf.

My eyes sprung open and immediately clamped shut again with the glare of a tropical sun. I'd made a trip, the first in a number of months. What swam into my mind was the realization that it was 1950 and I was here to change the direction of two young acting careers.

"Jon? Are you all right? Jon?" My eyes watered as I tried to get accustomed to the sun.

"Who? Ah, the sun ..." I rubbed my eyes.

Slowly the familiar image of the boy speaking to me filled my view. "It's me, Dean. Are you okay?"

"Yes, sorry. The sun is so bright." I stalled him in an effort to take in the background of the part I was to play for this trip. Slowly it filtered into my mind and I felt more comfortable. We were on a beautiful isolated beach on the island of Jamaica and the young man filling my now clearing vision was a very handsome and sexy 14 year old Dean Stockwell.

"Hey! You gotta watch that sun." The very self-assured young actor advised. "So, how'd I do?"

"Do?" I asked.

"With my lines. Dang-it! I want this part so bad. That little pip-squeak comin' down today hasn't got a chance."

I'd heard that this kid was too confident and arrogant for his own good and now I could see why. Oh, don't get me wrong. He is ... was? ... No, is, a good actor. Well, as a kid. In his later parts, as an adult, he had a couple of mediocre performances but they're not relevant here and now ... in 1950.

The boy stood there in the tights, full white blouse and brown leather waistcoat that the part of young Jim Hawkins required. My gaze settled on his tights and I could see that he was well into puberty. I quickly lifted my eyes to his knowing smile and, even though he seemed to be a shoe-in for the part, I reminded him; "As the Field Casting Coordinator, I'm in charge here young man and I'll decide just who has a chance and who doesn't."

"Okay, okay!" He backed off. "I know you have to give him a shot but just remember who has more 'experience' and is 'willing' to do 'whatever' has to be done to get the part." I noted his emphasis on certain words.

"Well, you are a very strong young actor Dean and very attractive too." I smiled suggestively at him. "But, the part does lean towards the portrayal of a younger and, shall we say, less experienced and more innocent boy." I knew enough to use praise along with the introduction of the possibility that he might, in my mind, just be too old and too worldly for the part.

"Yeah? Well, I need a cold pop. A beer would be even better." He announced and headed off towards the snack table muttering to himself a little too loudly; "Yeah and I know who else leans toward inexperience and innocence."

I watched his cute butt move in his tights and wondered if he might be seriously dropping hints of interest or just making snide and teasing references to my obvious interest in him. After all, I had a raging hardon just when I tripped in time and it was plainly obvious as he leaned over me asking if I was all right. I'm sure he saw it and thought it was from looking at him do his lines in those very revealing tights. Not that I didn't lust after him, I did. He was very hot. But on the other hand, he couldn't know my hardon was from watching a video in 1995 of the cutie who really got the part.

Shaking off the thought and adjusting my now wilting erection, I got up and headed past the snack table to the parking area. I had just realized that I had to get down to the business that I was here for. "I'll see you later Dean, after I test Bobby. Right now, I have to go to the airstrip."

"Going to pick up the little shrimp?" He was developing a bad case of brattiness.

"C'mon Dean. I know you're not this insecure." I tried again to reassure him. "There are plenty of parts that are perfect for you."

"Yeah, but this is a classic and it could seal my success for a long time to come." What he said was very true.

Chapter Two - The Sweet Innocent Boy and Spoiled Rich Girl

We were a half hour bumpy flight by small plane from the big airport and passengers were often upset by this and the rough landing strip. Bobby was flying in alone as Annie, his chaperone, had been here since yesterday preparing his living arrangements. She didn't want him sharing a trailer with "that worldly Dean Stockwell" as she put it. So, Bobby was going to have to share with her.

The plane bounced down the runway and pulled up near where I had parked the Jeep. The hatch opened and a small boy stumbled out and ran two or three steps before he doubled over and threw up. I ran over to steady him as he almost fell onto the dusty dirt runway.

"Oh Bobby. I was afraid of this. Half the people who flew in yesterday got sick." I tried to comfort him with the knowledge that he was not alone. But he was, in truth, just a kid and started to quietly cry.

"I ... hu, hu ... I'm sa, sa ... horry!" He stammered between sobs.

"That's okay. I almost blew lunch too when I flew in." I exaggerated.

"Re ... hu ... really?" His green face brightened a little, if that was possible.

"Yup. So don't you feel bad about it Bobby and we wont tell anyone." I conspired. "Let's go over to the Jeep and get a splash of cool water on your face."

He hadn't got anything on his clothes or shoes and as I cooled off his face with a wet cloth I began to see signs of his cute dimples and his color returning. "It's good to see you again Bobby. Have you been working on your lines?"

He gave me a weak smile and said, "I'm glad to see you too Jon and I'm glad to be on the ground."

I laughed and tousled his soft brown hair. As a Field Casting Coordinator, I knew both boys from other projects and honestly had a soft spot for each.

"I think I know my lines." He said with a bit of nervousness.

"Well, they don't have to be perfect." I tried to boost his confidence. "Mainly we want to get a feel for how you fit the part so just let your wardrobe and lines carry you."

As I looked back at the plane I saw that there was another passenger with a small overnight bag. It appeared to be a young girl of about 13 or 14 but she was dressed in a rather tomboyish way. "Who's the young lady Bobby?"

"Huh? Oh, that's Susan." He sounded bored. "I think she thinks she's a boy."

I laughed to myself. "She's pretty."

"I suppose." There was a frown clouding his cute dimples. "She's spoiled. She says her father is some bigwig at the studio."

The girl looked in our direction and began to walk towards us. "Hello! Hello? Are you my driver?" She called to me and did indeed sound spoiled.

I looked at Bobby and gave him a conspiratorial wink. "I'm Mr. Driscoll's driver little Miss. Who, may I ask, are you?"

She glowered at me. "I'm Miss Susan Carlsberg and my father said a driver would meet me here and take me to my trailer."

I smiled again at Bobby who, clearly feeling better, gleefully grinned back. "Well, I'd be happy to give you a lift Miss Susan but I don't know about a trailer for you. Aren't you a bit young to be traveling alone?"

I was rewarded with another glower and an indignant grunt. "Herumpf! I'm 14 and a half and I've been all over Europe. I'm used to traveling."

I put on a more dignified face. "Well then Miss Susan, hop in the back with your bag and let's get along back to the trailers."

"Well, I never." She grumbled as she climbed in the back of the open jeep.

"Hop in Mr. Driscoll." In spite of myself I chuckled and grandly announced. "Trailer number one awaits your arrival."

Bobby beamed broadly at me. He too had only a small bag as his things had come in yesterday. So we were on our way quickly. The wind in the open Jeep helped continue to refresh him and by the time we arrived at the trailers he was pretty much completely recovered from his brief bout with airsickness. Susan, on, the other hand, was windblown, dusty and disgruntled. She didn't say a word during the whole ride.

The first trailer served as an office and that's where we pulled in. "Wait here Susan while I find out where you're going to be staying."

Inside I found Annie, Bobby's chaperone, at work at her other job, site coordinator. This involved everything from living arrangements and meal coordination to communications and liaison with the local government. I knew if anyone was aware of Miss Susan Carlsberg's spending some time with us, Annie would. However, she hadn't a clue.

"Her arrival is news to me Jon. Perhaps there will be something in the mail packet. Is it in the jeep?"

"Oh, yeah. The pilot put it in while I was tending to Bobby."

"Airsick?"

"Yeah. Poor kid. But, he's okay now. By the way, don't let on you know. I promised him that it was our secret."

As chuckled as I headed for the door. "Hold on a sec and I'll get the mail packet."

As I stepped outside I heard Bobby snap at Susan. "You're stuck up!"

"Oh pooh!" She snapped back. "I'm going to have dinner with Dean Stockwell."

"Oh yeah? Big deal!" Bobby seemed to be handling himself just fine. "He's stuck up too. Besides, does Dean know yet? Maybe he'll jump off the cliff when he finds out."

She stuck out her tongue at him. "I don't talk to little boys."

"I'm 13. How old are you?"

"I'm 15," She lied. "And, I still don't talk to little boys."

"Gosh! My heart's broken." I got a kick out of Bobby as he gripped his chest in pretend pain.

I decided to try to put the little spoiled brat in her place. "I'm sorry for the delay Mr. Driscoll but we're having trouble accommodating little Miss Susan here."

Bobby was a smart boy and quickly picked up on my fun. "That's okay Jon. I'm in no hurry."

"What about me? Susan bristled. "I'd like to be taken to my trailer now and where's the swimming pool?"

"I'm sorry young lady but we had no notice of your arrival." I bristled back at her. "And, we don't have a pool."

"You can swim in the ocean if you like." Bobby giggled. "It's great, if you don't mind the sharks and the man-of-war jelly fish."

I laughed as I pulled out the mail packet. "We'll just see if there's a letter from your father in here. Don't worry, we'll get this all straightened out in a minute."

I went back into the trailer as the two kids continued to snipe at each other. "Here's the packet Annie. It's kinda light though."

Annie had it open in a second and there was nothing from Miss Carlsberg's father. "Nothing Jon. I don't know what to do with her."

"We have to figure something out Annie." I get a little annoyed when things don't go smoothly. "The kid's a spoiled little snot. But, if she complains to her father there might be trouble." I had to remind myself that this was 1950 and life was Victorian by 1995 standards.

"Yes, well, she sure does present a problem." She was shaking her head. "All the beds are booked. Bobby was the last one expected and he's in the spare fold out in my trailer."

"Well, you can't put Bobby in with Dean." I added my two cents. "Dean's agent would have a fit and besides, they'd be fighting like mongrels in five seconds."

Annie thought for a second. "Bobby's agent is pretty easy to get along with isn't he?"

"Yes, he's a good guy. Why, what are you thinking?"

"Susan can stay in my trailer," She let out a frustrated sigh. "But, I can't watch her all of the time."

"What about Bobby then?" I knew the answer already as I suspected that this complication was part of the reason I was here.

"It looks like you'll have two boys hanging around your trailer then." Annie chuckled with what sounded to me like a trace of knowing disapproval. "And Bobby will have to double up with you."

"Great, just great. I'll have to be a referee between those two."

"Why? Dean's got the part sewed up doesn't he?

"Yeah, I guess." I laughed. "But he sure is afraid of Bobby for some reason. Dean's a smart cookie and I suspect that he can see why Bobby fits the part better. It's because he's a bit younger than Dean and more innocent looking."

Sounding resigned, Annie sighed, "Well Jon, I guess we're both baby sitters now."

"Looks like it." I sighed back. "I'll go break the news and send little Miss Susan in."

Chapter Three - Susan's Surprise and Bobby in Tights

As I came out of the trailer again I almost cracked up but it would have been cruel, especially to Bobby. Susan was pouting and staring off to her left and Bobby was glowering and staring off in the other direction. The two had clearly reached some sort of impasse.

"Well, Miss Susan," I broke the stony silence. "Annie, who's inside, will put you up ..." I bit my tongue as I almost said; 'put up with you' " ... and show you around. I'm sorry but we didn't get any notice. Perhaps tomorrow things will get straightened out."

She looked relieved to have the opportunity to leave the company of poor Bobby. "Well, I should hope so." She replied indignantly as she climbed out of the jeep. "What about Dean Stockwell? My Daddy promised me I'd be having dinner with Dean Stockwell." She spoke his name like he was some big glamorous star.

"Well, I wouldn't know about that." Then I thought to myself; those two spoiled kids just might be a match. "Why don't you see if Annie can arrange it?"

She stopped in front of me and flashed me a flirtatiously engaging and mature smile. She spoke quietly, so Bobby couldn't hear. "Oh good. I'm so looking forward to meeting young Dean Stockwell. I simply adored him in 'Quantum Leap' but at 14 he's just simply a dreamboat ... don't you think?"

My jaw hit the floor. "You ... you're a ... a Traveler too? How ... how did you know?"

She laughed a sparklingly happy laugh. "I didn't but I had a funny suspicion for some reason. So I figured I'd just see what would happen."

My mind spun trying to think of the odds ... no, the ramifications of such a meeting. I'd never had it happen before. "What if you were wrong about who I am?"

She giggled again. "Silly. Then you would have simply gone on thinking I was just a strange kid."

That got a nervous laugh from me. "I suppose. You know, we shouldn't ..."

She cut me off. "I know, I know. I wont ask you when you're from or anything else. I just had this funny feeling that I should check you out. Have fun with Bobby." She winked as she pushed past me towards the trailer.

She called back over her shoulder. "Ta ta Mr. Driscoll's driver." Then she giggled a little spoiled brat giggle.

I looked after her as she went inside and then turned, shaking my head.

"What was that all about?" Bobby look mildly curious. "She's such a pinhead."

My mind was still back on the Traveler meeting Traveler thing. "Huh?"

"Never mind. So, if she's staying with Annie, where do I sleep?"

I climbed into the jeep and started it up. "I guess we're going to have to see if we can jury rig a bunk for you in my trailer, such as it is."

"Golly Jon, that'll be neat!"

I glanced over at the cute little guy as he smiled his dimples at me. 'Golly'? 'Neat?' I thought; How very 1950'ish. 'Cool' was still just a meteorological term.

"Neat?" I chuckled. "Wait 'till you see my trailer. It's not one of the luxury ones like you spoiled actors get."

"Aw, come on Jon. Not all us kid actors are spoiled." Bobby had a piercing scrunched up nose kind of stare when he was even just a little frightened or, in this case I thought, mad and it actually touched me. There was a little man in there just bursting to be recognized. "We're not all swell headed either, like some I know." He continued his cute scowl.

I patted his knee. "I'm just teasing ya' kid."

He dimpled up again. "I know." His smile melted my heart, it always had ... and always will.

We rolled up to my trailer and parked. It was about one-third smaller than Annie's and Bobby scrunched up his nose again. "See, I told you it was smaller." I was worried he'd be bratty about it.

"So?" He leapt from the jeep, headed for the door and dashed inside. There was no need for locks here. A security guard patrolled all the time and, as we were pretty isolated, no one worried much about their belongings. I grabbed his small bag, along with his wardrobe bag that Annie had given me, and followed him inside.

He was just coming out of the bedroom. It was at the left end with a tiny combination toilet and shower room to one side of the bedroom door and a closet of similar size on the other. A very basic kitchen was next. Again very tiny, the sink and fridge on one side and a small stove on the other. The last third of the trailer was eating, working and lounging space all rolled into one. Opposite the door was a built in two person dinette table with a bench seat on the left and the end of the sofa on the right. The sofa ran around the end in an 'L' shape and had a coffee table in front of it.

Bobby pointed to the sofa. "That ain't so bad. You'll have plenty of room there."

"In you dreams kid! If you want to even think of playing Jim Hawkins you better plan on the couch for yourself."

"Hey! Who's the star here?" He uncharacteristically raised his little voice.

"WHAT?!" I played along shouting back, hoping a vain was popping on my neck.

He turned laughing and pointed at me. "Just teasing Jon. Getting even."

The fake look of surprise on my face must have been priceless. He had a good laugh at me as I pretended to try to speak and only managed a hem and a haw. "Geez kid," I finally got my power of speech back. "You had me going good there."

He stood there with a look of victory on his cute face, his fists on his hips and his feet planted apart in a strong defiant pose. Suddenly I saw Jim Hawkins in the movie.

"Wow!"

"Huh?" He looked at me like I'd lost it.

"Oh, sorry. I just realized the time." I exclaimed as I looked at my watch after the fact. "We have to get you changed and down to the beach for your testing."

"Can we swim after?" He seemed excited more by the swim than the test. Typical boy.

"Sure. I expect the whole crew will go for a dip before supper."

"Neat!" He appeared fully recovered from his flight. "What do I wear and where do I change."

"These and in there." I pointed to the bedroom.

Then I chuckled and he looked at me sideways. "What?"

"Go change." I chuckled again. "Then you'll understand."

He went in the bedroom and closed the door. A moment later I heard him complain, "I wouldn't be caught dead in these!" Then the door popped open and he gave me that tough kid look.

I laughed. "Sorry kid. If Dean could stand to wear 'em, you can too."

"But they'll ... they'll ... everybody will see ... well, you know."

I stopped laughing. I had to be sensitive to the kid's sense of modesty. "Bobby, it's what they all wore in those days. Besides, the leather waistcoat comes down low enough to cover what you're worried about. Put 'em on and you'll see."

He skulked back in and closed the door. A few minutes later he came out and shyly stood there for me to check him over.

"Bobby, you are a very handsome young man." I nodded as I walked around him. "You look just like the Jim Hawkins in my imagination." If he only knew, I thought to myself.

"Really? Ya' think so?"

"Yes, I do." I bent down to adjust one of the large buckles on his shoe and checked his little butt. "What's this?" I gently touched a ridge running around his upper thigh on each leg. "You got your shorts on?"

"Yeah. So?" A tad of defiance crept into his voice.

"I'm sorry Bobby but the camera will see that line and every one will know. You must look authentic." I bit my tongue for fear that I would make him more self-conscious.

"But ..."

"Slip off the waistcoat and look in the mirror."

He did and winced. "Geez, I may as well be naked."

"Not at all kid. You look quite dashing." I tried to reassure him. "Now, go in and remove the shorts. Then come back and look in the mirror."

He did and came back out. "See? Nothing shows anymore. You look the same but without the ridge of the hem of your shorts. More authentic and quite handsome you are."

"It's okay, I guess." He wiggled his cute round little butt at me and giggled self-consciously.

I couldn't resist and patted that cute wiggling behind. "Come on Jim Hawkins. Let's go kill some buccaneers!"

Chapter Four - Bobby is Jim Hawkins ... Maybe

We hopped back in the jeep and in five minutes flat we were down at the beach and the film crew was ready and waiting for Bobby's test. I was grateful that Dean was nowhere to be seen.

For the next two hours Bobby worked very hard and quite professionally. He seemed to totally forget that his young body and near adolescent handsomeness was accentuated by his costume. The tights clearly showed that he was indeed a boy on the brink of puberty and the full white blouse gave him a dashing sultry but boyish sexiness. When we were done I could see that he had become the Jim Hawkins that I had fallen in love with as a boy.

The assistant director let him go and he came running over to me. "How'd I do Jon?! How'd I do?!"

I was filled with the memory of my adolescent love for this boy and now, here he was, right in front of me. The very same boy and he was wonderful. He must have sensed my strong feeling because, before I could answer he threw himself into my lap and wrapped his arms around my neck. "I can tell Jon. You thought I did good."

I hugged him back. "Yes, Bobby. You did very good." The two of us were enjoying the closeness.

"Well now, would you look at this?" A sarcastic voice broke the moment.

I looked up to see Dean standing there grinning from ear to ear. Bobby jumped up off my lap and blushed. "He ... hello Dean. How ya' doin'?"

"I'm doin' great squirt. I got this part locked up so you can stop with the mushy stuff with Jon."

"Huh?" Bobby looked back and forth from Dean to me.

As Bobby got up from my lap I held his arm. "Bobby, don't let Dean get to you. I told him after his test this morning that I'll do the deciding just who has a chance and who doesn't."

Dean struck a belligerent pose and demanded; "Well, he's tested and what did you decide?"

I stood up and put my hand on Dean's shoulder and squeezed gently. He looked up at me with a smile that, in other circumstances, would have made me weak in the knees. But when I looked at Bobby I say a boy who honestly, almost desperately, wanted the part and for all the right reasons.

"I'm sorry boys. I know you are both dying to know now but I haven't decided yet." I lied. "You're both very good actors. You are very talented and hard working. But, you are going to have to be patient with me. It's a tough decision besides, I have to see the results of our shooting today. Part of my decision will be based on how you look to the camera. I must think of both the picture and what's best for each of you because I care about each of you very much."

"Thanks Jon." Bobby smiled up at me. "I'm just real excited."

I tousled his soft brown hair. "You worked hard, you both did. Now, I don't know about you two but I need a swim."

"Neat!" Swimming was one of Bobby's passions. "Did Annie bring my stuff down Jon?"

"Yup. It's in that beach hut over there ... I think. How about you Dean?"

Dean seemed to hold back as I started to go with Bobby. I sensed that he had something private to say. I called to Bobby as he dashed off, "You go ahead, I'll be right behind you."

Then I turned back to Dean. "Something on your mind?"

"Yeah. Look, I've seen how you look at me." This was a worldly kid, not shy at all. "So, if it will help, you know where my trailer is."

Worldly kid or not, he was still just a kid and under all the bravado I was sure a sensitive boy was hiding. I again put my hand on his shoulder. "Dean, I do feel that way towards you but that's not how I do things. Besides, you're better than that."

The bravado seemed to melt away. "Yeah, I guess." Then he added halfheartedly; "But not good enough for you or for the part."

I took his other shoulder in hand and stared into his beautiful puppy-dog eyes. "You are plenty good enough for me kiddo and as for the part ... well, I will explain my decision after I make it. We'll talk more tomorrow. Now, I have to go pretend to be shark bait."

He hung his head and started towards the snack bar. "Okay, I'll see ya' later."

"Hey! Hey you! Movie star!" He turned back looking at me funny. "Hold your head up high. You're a damned good actor kid!"

This time he smiled and resumed his path to the snack bar.

Chapter Five - Shark Attack

When I got to the beach hut, which we used as a changing room for swimming, Bobby was just pulling on a cotton pair of what we would call speedos in 1995. I caught a brief glimpse of a cute pair of buns as they disappeared behind his snug fitting bathing suit. Then he turned and in a totally little boy way, charged past me yelling; "Last one in's a rotten egg."

"HA!" I laughed and called after him. "And the first one in has to eat it." That didn't slow him up at all.

I made a quick change and headed for the surf line. The water was warm and the waves were pretty gentle actually. I waded in slowly and then dove into a wave hands and head first. As I went under the wave I rotated my hands down to the soft sandy bottom and pushed up so I broke the surface like a porpoise. Then I started to swim out so that I could stand on the gradually sloping bottom with the water at chest level and look back at the beautiful scene. Tropical isle, palm trees, mountains in the background, blue skies with white fluffy clouds, pink soft sandy beach and ... "Yikes!"

A vicious beast of the sea, a stealthy underwater demon, a cute two legged boy shark had grabbed me about the lower legs and was trying to drag me under. He succeeded and scared the living shit out of me too!

We both broke back on the surface. He was grinning and giggling as only a happy boy can. Me, I rose more desperately as he had surprised me and I was short of breath. I got a throat full of water and coughed and sputtered. Suddenly Bobby looked concerned and swam too close. With a swiftness that surprised even me, I pounced on the boy and dunked him good.

A moment later he shot up through the surface with a panicky sputtering of his own along with some frantic flopping of his arms in an attempt to keep from sinking back. I'd gone too far, been too heavy handed and I moved to help the stricken lad. Just as I did he slipped beneath the surface and as I gathered myself to go after him I felt his hands at my hips and my baggy swim suit slid down my legs, fortunately snagging on my knees.

Bobby again broke the surface giggling hysterically. As I regained some composure and control of my bathing suit, returning it to a more modest location, he made a couple of odd movements with his arms, swiveled in the water and did a perfect surface dive and mooned me good. The thrill of such a sight stopped me dead. I was transfixed as I could have sworn that the little pink rosebud of his back entrance winked at me!

One more time Bobby broke the surface. This time he was waving his tiny swim suit like a flag. "What? Don't tell me you don't like skinny dipping."

As a matter of fact, I did love skinny dipping. I looked into shore and saw that no one was paying any attention to us so I swam the few remaining strokes out to the safety raft that was anchored out here just in case a swimmer needed to rest. I removed my suit again and draped it over the tube of the inflatable raft. A moment later Bobby surfaced beside me and with that shy dimpled smile of his, placed his suit beside mine.

I grinned at him and his smile broadened, if that was possible. He reached to me and, thinking that he was going to try to dunk me, I pulled back. His smile vanished and became a look of uncertainty quickly replaced it. "I wasn't gonna dunk ya' Jon."

"Oh?" I giggled. "Tryin' to fake me out?"

"No, honest." Now a look of hurt began to show in his eyes.

"Yeah right. You're a good actor Bobby." I held onto the raft with one hand with the other prepared to defend myself from this sneaky little sea monster.

Like me, he was holding onto the raft with one hand but hearing my words he turned to face the raft and placed his other hand on it. Somehow I knew I had misread his intention so I placed a comforting hand on his small smooth shoulder. "I'm sorry."

His closest hand came off the raft, found my shoulder and then slipped around my neck. I strengthened my hold on the raft as his other arm found it's way around my neck and then his legs wrapped around my waist. I felt his warm soft body against mine and I immediately began to get aroused. As my erection swelled and lengthened it fit along the crevice of his little bottom and he whispered in my ear. "I thought maybe you liked me that way."

Not really shocked, I still felt I had to ask; "Bobby, do you know what you are doing?"

He nuzzled his body a little tighter against mine and I could feel his own erection pressing deliciously into my stomach. "I know what I've read and what I've heard people talk about. And, I know I want too."

"Want too? Want to what?"

"I want to ... do ... ah, I want you to show me."

"But I'm a grown-up Bobby."

"So? I like you. You are nice, even to Dean who can be a real brat. You treat us kids like ... like ... well, like adults. But you still like to goof around too.

"Dean's not that bad." I tried to divert the conversation. "He's just needs to see that how he acts can turn people away. I think he just needs a friend and a little guidance."

"See Jon? That's what I mean. You even understand Dean." I failed in my effort as I felt his boner throb against me. Mine throbbed in turn. Bobby kissed my ear. "I really like you Jon."

Just then I heard some loud laughter from the beach and then a splash.

"We can continue this later. Okay?" I slipped his arms from my neck. "Sounds like we better put our suits back on."

"Promise?" The look on his sweet innocent face was one of complete trust.

"Yes Bobby, I promise."

It was a struggle getting our suits back on over our hardons. We both sank beneath the surface and each could see that the other was peeking. He was well armed for such a small buccaneer.

We both broke the surface smiling and Bobby was giggling.

Chapter Six - Dean Learns to Drive the Jeep

We set out back to the beach and I could see Dean and a man engaged in a splash and dunk fight. As we got closer I could see it was Ben, one of the more influential producers on the project.

"Hey Jon!" He beckoned for me to come over. "Doing a little muff diving out there?" Then he laughed a heehaw asshole kind of laugh thinking he was hot shit.

"Muff diving?" I exaggeratedly looked around. "I don't see any broads around here. You know something I don't?" I heard a snicker from Dean as he swam over to us.

The jerk let out a dirty laugh. "You know what I mean."

"No Ben." I glared at him. "I don't know what you mean but knowing you, I suspect it's not a proper topic with these two youngsters within ear shot."

"C'mon Jon." He chuckled a bit nervously. "I'm just kidding around."

"Well, that may be but it's not my kind of humor." I turned to Bobby who was talking with Dean. "Want to get a pop and take a ride in the jeep Bobby?"

"Yeah!" His face lit up. "Neat!"

"Dean?" It was a halfhearted effort to keep him from the producer's clutches.

"Can I have a beer?" The wiseacre never quit.

"No!"

"Can I drive?" He persisted.

"Well, maybe we can find a field where you wont be able to kill anyone."

"Not even a goat?" He grinned and looked at me expecting a shot back.

I laughed. "Well, maybe a goat but the island law says you have to eat what you kill."

Ben, the producer, stood there with his hands on his hips fuming at what I was doing. "Jon, I would like a word with you."

He really annoyed me but I bit my tongue. "Sure Ben. Boys, why don't you two get changed and I'll be right along." They dashed up the beach.

"Okay Ben, what can I do for you?"

"I know what you're doing Jon." He was now seething. "I ... I want that boy ... ah, er, in our film."

"You and I both know what you want Ben." I glared back at him. "If that's what Dean wants, fine. But, if you hurt him ... " I let my voice trail off.

He coughed and cleared his throat like an old British Lord. "I'm talking about the film Jon. That boy is big box-office."

I shrugged. "Then what's the problem? I'll let you know my decision and recommendation in the morning." I started to wade out of the water.

"Do you like your job Jon?" The implied threat was clear but he had no idea how impotent.

I laughed, which deepened his anger. "At this moment in 'time'?" I exaggerated the word 'time'. "Yes, I'm very much enjoying it." With that I turned and walked up the beach. I didn't even bother to look back.

I knew that I was just a wrinkle in the fabric of time, sent here to sew up a tiny tear. When I was gone they would all forget that I was ever here, or even existed for that matter. Any and all memories of me will have disappeared. Only the small repair would remain. That was the whole idea.

Back up at the beach hut the two boys were just emerging, dried and changed. "Hi guys. I'll just be a second."

I went inside and made a point of drying off and changing right by the door so I could hear them just outside. I was surprised, as they seemed to get on quite well.

"So Bobby, wanna party tonight?"

"Maybe." Bobby sounded a little hesitant. "I have to stay in Jon's trailer tonight so I don't know if I can sneak out."

"Oh?" I could hear the wheels turning in Dean's mind. I expected that he was thinking about not being able to hit on me later with the idea of getting in my good graces and landing the part. "How'd that happen?"

"Well, this girl, Susan, who flew in with me, has to stay with Annie. So I have to stay with Jon. But I don't mind. Jon's neat. I kinda want to get to know him better."

"Yeah. I bet." I heard a good natured laugh. "So, who's this girl? She a doll?"

"Her father's some bigwig." I waited for Bobby to mention that Susan thought it was set up for her to have dinner with Dean. "She's pretty but very stuck up."

"So? What's she doin' here?"

"Got me." Bobby must have decided not to give Dean the satisfaction of knowing he was sought after.

I took that moment to come out and their conversation stopped dead. "Okay guys, let's boogie."

"Huh?" They both said in unison.

I'd slipped and used some slightly ahead of its time slang. "Oh, it's slang. It means let's get movin', like dancing, like the ... ah, jitterbug." I'd broken a small rule but who knows, maybe this is how the slang got started anyhow.

"Let's boogie ... " Dean turned the phrase over in his mouth. "Neat."

We had a couple hours before we had to be back so I pointed the jeep up into the hills. The dirt track was windy and bumpy so the boys loved it. The four wheel drive handled whatever we had to go over ... or through. Finally we leveled out on a high hill and drove into a huge field covered with foot high feathery grass. The view was incredible.

We opened a couple of soda pops and enjoyed the tropical breeze.

"Guess who I saw at the big airport?" Bobby broke the silence first.

"Who?" Dean and I both replied.

"Errol Flynn."

"No kidding?!" Dean sat bolt upright. "That man is my idol!"

"He's quite an actor and loves to party, I hear." I kind of thought out loud.

"Yeah, he looked like he does Jon," Bobby added. "He had two pretty girls with him." The sweet boy blushed and grinned.

"Yeah, one for him and one for me." Dean added with his typical bravado.

I laughed. "I doubt that he would share with you Dean. He's quite the lady's man."

"I wonder why he's down here?"

"Well, maybe he wants you in his next movie Dean." Bobby was quick with the sarcastic answer.

I had my suspicions as, of course, I knew the future. "Bobby, did you hear anything he said? Anything about why he's here?"

Bobby scrunched up his nose like he does and looked thoughtful. "Weeeullll ..."

"C'mon kid!" Dean was impatient.

"Hold on! I'm tryin' to remember. I do remember someone said something about scouting and then something about screen tests."

"Gosh! Jon, do you think he's coming here?" Dean's impatience had become excitement.

I laughed. "Hold your horses cowboy. There's no more planes due today, that I know of. The early morning mail plane is the next one."

"Boy, I'd sure like to meet him."

I couldn't resist. "Dean, I expect you will and probably sooner than you think." That proved to be a mistake.

"You know something don't you." Dean excitedly grabbed my arm nearly knocking the pop bottle out of my hand. "Tell me. Tell me!"

"Calm down Dean. I don't know any more than you about his plans." I had to change the subject. "I think maybe you're too excited to drive the jeep."

That got him and he made a successful effort to get control. For the next 45 minutes Dean behaved himself and took great care and pride in learning to drive the jeep. No goats were injured of killed, as none were seen.

Too soon for the boy, I directed Dean to head back down the dirt road. I let him drive us all the way back and he was very proud of himself.

Chapter Seven - Party Time

The evenings here were usually one big party. If we had been actually filming there wouldn't have been the time so everyone tried to get as much in before production started.

Susan's being here was still a mystery, to everyone else, so I suggested a nice dinner with Annie and myself, Susan, Dean and Bobby. Ben, the producer from the beach, barged in and joined us pulling up a chair next to Dean.

He draped his arm around Dean's shoulder. "How ya' doing kid? Having fun?"

Dean shrugged the man's arm off and declared with a slur. "I'm doin' jus' fine thanksh ... be doin' betta if I had the part." He was looking right at me

I winked at Bobby. "All I can say, Dean, is that I believe that both of you will be making an adventure movie this year."

Ben shifted his annoyed gaze from Dean to me. "What's that supposed to mean?"

I looked him square in the eye. "Gee Ben, I don't know. Just a feeling I guess."

Ben pushed back his chair and stood. "Give me a moment over by the bar Jon." It wasn't a request.

We walked over and I settled on a bar stool. Ben stood over me with his back to the kids. "What's the idea Jon?"

I tried not to laugh and look innocent at the same time. "Whatever do you mean Ben?"

He brought his hand up and stuck his index finger under my nose to make his point. "Get between me and Dean tonight and you're history on this project!"

I smiled a sarcastic smile up at him as I noticed, over Ben's shoulder, Dean putting his 14 year old, going on 30, move on Susan. "Oh, you don't have to worry about me Ben."

He turned and watched Dean for a moment. Then he stormed off to parts unknown as I muttered under my breath with a chuckle; "I'm not history Ben, you are. I'm the future on this project."

Just as I got back to the table another round of sodas arrived. Dean had somehow gotten the waitress to spike his cokes with rum. No wonder he was slurring his words, he was on his third one. I was about to say something when Susan caught my eye and slightly shook her head.

As a Traveler, we learn to go with the flow. Many events have a way of happening for a reason and often, no matter what we do. I suspected that Susan realized that Dean was meant to get drunk. On the other hand, I began to realize, as the evening progressed, that circumstances had other things in store for me. Bobby began to yawn and visibly wilt.

The poor kid had had a long day including his short bout with airsickness. I looked around for Annie to let her know that I was taking Bobby back to the trailer. After a moment or two I spotted her with one of the crew and it looked like she'd let him get her right where she wanted to be. I chuckled to myself. "Well Bobby, what do you say we call it a day?"

Bobby yawned loudly and got up. Dean giggled drunkenly. "Shee yas kid." He could barely talk. Susan waved us on. It was clear she was in control.

Bobby yawned again and we started to stroll back towards my trailer. He slipped his hand into mine and gave me that sweet scrunchy nose, dimpled smile.

Once back inside I offered Bobby the bed. "Hey kid, you've had a long day and it's early yet. So, you take the bedroom." I flopped down on the settee. "I'm gonna read a while and then just crash here."

The boy looked at me kind of sheepishly. "Is it later yet?"

I looked up at him realizing that he wasn't yawning anymore. "Huh?"

He sat next to me and cuddled up a little. "When we were swimming. You said we'd continue later."

This not so shy boy was now sweetly grinning up at me. "I like you a lot Jon." He pulled my arm over his shoulders and snuggled closer.

"Ah ... Bobby ... I ... " I was sputtering.

A look of disappointment crossed the boy's cute face and I melted. "You don't like me?" He asked innocently.

"Huh? No ... er, yes, I do." I was still sputtering. "It's just ... I didn't think ... you don't have to ... "

"Isn't it okay for us to hug?" He asked, again with that innocent look.

I was completely flustered and confused now. "Of course it's okay Bobby." Was he really innocent and naive or just very convincing?

"Good. You just read and I'll just snuggle with you until I get sleepy."

I put my feet up on the coffee table and picked up a copy of the script. As I studied, Bobby would occasionally read along and make a comment or suggestion. Each time he would squirm a little as he pointed to a word or phrase. Ever so slowly he moved from sitting beside me to having his knee over my hip and then a leg. Soon he started pointing to lines in the script and then letting his arm lie across my stomach. Finally he had his head resting on my chest and let out a contented sigh.

The first time I felt a gentle twitching throb against my hip I knew for sure where this was going and my own erection began to grow. Soon his arm would brush against me down there each time he pointed to the script and the occasional pointing became almost constant.

Finally, I put the script down and lifted his chin with my hand. "You're a minx Bobby, an imp."

He just smiled and nuzzled his nose into my chest. When I put my other arm around him he scootched up onto my lap so that he was straddling me. He slipped his arms as far around me as he could reach and buried his face in my neck. Our erections moved together and we both sighed.

In the background, I was vaguely aware of a jeep starting up. I didn't give it a thought as there were at least three parked next to us.

I was very distracted as Bobby had begun to rock slightly, moving up and down ever so gently and creating the most pleasurable of feelings for us both. I could feel his warm soft breathing on my neck and the tensing and relaxing of his small firm bottom as I held both halves, one in each hand.

This was so erotic, being seduced by this dear sweet boy that I had fantasized about as a boy myself. I knew that I would cum very quickly and, I could tell., he would too.

Just then, the motor I had heard start up, revved and there was the growl of tires on the dirt road. This was followed by screeching and squealing and then a loud thump.

Bobby's movements became more urgent and I began to kneed his sweet boy buns through his pants. I felt his now hot rapid breath on my neck and I knew we both were close.

That's when the shouting started. It was just far enough away that I couldn't understand what was being said but close enough to break through the haze of my passions for this dear sweet seducer of a boy.

"Bobby! Stop!' I tried to hold his little butt still.

He raised his head and looked at me through lust filled eyes. "Huh? Wha?"

"Something's wrong outside! Quick! Get up!" I was pushing him off me now.

He moaned and moved reluctantly. "Oh. I was just gonna ... what's wrong? What's that shouting?"

I stood and adjusted my erection. "I don't know but I think I heard a jeep start up."

Bobby did his own quick adjusting and we headed out the door. "Hey look Jon, your jeep is gone."

The shouting continued a hundred yards of so down the road. "You spoiled little shit! You fucking little drunk. That's it! You blew your chance kid. I want you out of here."

We were running down the road as we heard this diatribe. About halfway there Ben passed us going the other way, back to the trailers. He stunk like barf. He was covered with it.

I stopped him. "Ben. What happened?"

He was furious. "The drunken little shit took a jeep, ran it in a ditch and when I went to help he threw up in my face. I want him out of here tomorrow! ... on the early mail plane."

I was stunned. "Is anyone hurt?"

Ben continued on to his trailer. "No, no. The two of them are sitting in the road laughing and giggling. They're both drunk."

Bobby had continued on and as I caught up he was just standing there shaking his head.

Dean looked up at Bobby and was shaken again with the giggles. "Well sh ... shri ... shrimp, I gesh yous got the pa ... par ... part."

Susan was with him and she just looked at me and shrugged her shoulders.

Chapter Eight - Bobby Learns Something Better Than Driving

Nothing happened.

If I was here to help Bobby get the part of Jim Hawkins why was I still here? What hadn't I returned to my time? Then I noticed that Susan wasn't there anymore.

I looked around. "Where's Susan?" I asked although I already knew the answer.

"Susan who?" Bobby asked.

"Huh? Wasn't Dean with a girl?" I tried to cover up realizing that Susan's job here was done and she had returned to her time without a trace or memory for the others here. ... Or should I say now?

Dean began a slurishing giggle. "A g-girl? H-here? I shoulda be sho luckish."

Annie showed up and lit into Dean for taking my jeep on a solo joy ride. When she was through, she took him back to get him cleaned up and into bed. Bobby and I walked quietly back to my trailer.

When we were back inside Bobby put his hand on my arm. "Dean, didn't even seem scared."

He had a look of disbelief. "Bobby, that's called false bravado. Booze will give that to someone. Maybe, when he's had a chance to think about it, Dean will see and have learned a lesson. I hope so."

"Well, I'll never do anything crazy or risky like that."

I shuddered inside knowing how this dear sweet boy was going to die a terrible, lonely and senseless death. I wanted to comfort him, to make him feel safe and loved. "It's late Bobby. Better get ready for bed. Call me when your settled and I'll come in to say good night."

He went into the bathroom and I collapsed on the settee, taking the time to think. If Susan hadn't come along, Bobby would have stayed with Annie and Dean and I would have hooked up. Instead, Bobby stayed with me and the producer hit on Dean. Susan and Dean got together and Dean got drunk and barfed on the producer. Now he's mad at Dean and Bobby has the part of Jim Hawkins. So, why am I still here? Why am I here at all? Susan was clearly here for Bobby. Who am I here for?

Then it hit me, "Dean." I said it out loud.

Bobby came out of the bathroom. "You say something Jon?"

"Huh? No, nothing." I got up and went into the bathroom to wash up too.

That's it, I thought. I must be here to help Dean but how? Then I remembered Bobby mentioning Errol Flynn at the big airport. Dean Stockwell played Kim with Errol Flynn in the 1950 film "Kim" from the story by Rudyard Kipling. Somehow I had to find Flynn and get him here, tomorrow, to meet Dean. But how?

Well, I'd have to sleep on it and Annie will be able to help in the morning.

When I came out, Bobby was in bed with the light off. I stuck my head in the door and whispered, "You awake?"

"Yes," came a small voice in the dark. "Can you come here a minute?"

I smiled. "Sure."

I sat on the side of the bed and Bobby sat up. He slipped his arms around me and gave me a big hug and held on. "Can you ... would you stay with me?"

"Until you fall asleep? Sure."

He held on tight. "No, I mean stay, sleep with me, all night."

There was a hitch in his breathing, like he was trying not to cry. But, I was suddenly uncertain. I was pretty sure what he wanted but if I was here for Dean and not Bobby ... the thought trailed away in my mind. "I better sleep out there Bobby but if you need me you come and get me. Okay?"

His voice was tiny and far away. "Okay." I kissed him on the forehead and thought I heard a sniffle as I left and closed the door.

Sleep didn't come and I tossed and turned. That tiny sounding "okay" and the little sniffle haunted me. I sat up and tried to work on the script but my mind kept returning to Bobby. I gave in, got up, turned out the light and tiptoed into the bedroom. Just in my shorts, I slid into bed beside the young actor.

I heard a soft sigh and felt his small arms and legs wrap around me. He kissed my neck as I wrapped him in my arms and ran my hands over his body. He was just wearing briefs.

He slipped up on top of me and rested his head on my chest as our now very hard cocks rubbed together. I slid my hands under the elastic of his shorts and cupped his smooth round buns.

As I squeezed him down there he whispered to me. "Can we be bare? Can I take our shorts off?"

I chuckled. "Yes, that would be very sexy."

He giggled and slid down under the sheet. With some grunts and giggles he got both our shorts off and as he started back up I could swear he kissed my boner. It was very quick and in a moment he was on top again with his legs parted and knees on either side of my hips. Our hot hard penises rubbing deliciously side by side.

Holding his sweet buns in my hands, I let him go at his own pace. Occasionally he would kiss or lick my chest or nibble on one of my nipples but mostly he just moved slowly breathing his hot sweet breath on me. He was very sexy and all too soon I began to tremble and then I felt him stiffen. We both gasped, almost at the same time. Then our hot wet spurts splashed between us.

We were both overcome and took a while to catch our breaths. After a few minutes he giggled. "Wow. I think I love you Jon."

He slid up enough and, with his hand, found my chin. Then he planted a clumsy but non-the-less sweet kiss on my lips. He hesitated and then did it again but this time held it. I parted my lips a tiny bit and tickled his with my tongue. He pulled back and giggled. "That's gross."

I giggled back. "Someday you wont think so."

I couldn't see him but he still had his head raised and I pictured him thinking. Then softly I felt his lips on mine again and his tongue tickling my lips this time.

My response was gentle and careful. I opened my mouth for him and let him explore this new experience. He was tentative at first but the more he explored the harder I felt his boner poke into my stomach. This little delight got me getting hard again and I felt the tip of my cock slip up along the crack of Bobby's ass.

He was lip locked onto me and beginning to snort through his nose when this happened and he suddenly broke our kiss and gasped. "Holy cow!"

I giggled. "You are learning that there are places other than your penis that can give you a thrill."

"Oh boy. I'll say." He moved up and back making my dickhead slip back and forth. Each time he sighed and shuddered a little more.

I reached up and found his cheek and caressed him there. Then he returned to our kiss but kept up his slow movement. We simmered like that for a while. He tried some slight variations in movement and found that some were better than others. Eventually the build up of pre-cum from me got spread around and one of his variations in movement cause the head of my cock to slip between his soft cheeks and lodge against his little entrance.

"Ooohhhhh." He moaned and trembled. "What was that?"

My hands cupped his buns and gently squeezed them around my cock. "That, my sweet boy, is a special spot. Some boys just love being touched there."

"But it's ... it's where I ... you know."

"Yes, it is."

"It sure felt wild when you first touched it. It still feels good." He moved a little more, trembling and moaning softly.

My hands roamed over his back and up. I caressed his neck and ran my fingers through his soft silken hair as he kissed me again. He continued to move but with some added urgency and pressure. Suddenly the head of my cock slipped into him.

"OH!" He exclaimed.

I pulled back as best I could and slipped out of him. "Oh Bobby! I'm sorry! Did I hurt you?"

He groaned. "Hurt? No. It felt amazing, wonderful. What happened?"

A sigh of relief escaped me. "You liked it?"

"Oh yes! What happened?" He asked again.

"The tip of my penis slipped inside you. I'm sorry, I didn't mean for that to happen."

"Why?"

"Huh?"

"Why didn't you mean for it to happen? It felt good. I liked it. Can you do it again?"

"Well, actually, you did it. I'm more than happy if you want to do it again. I liked it too, a lot."

"Really? Wow! What should I do?"

"Just do what you did before. Take your time and enjoy it."

"Hmmmm ..." He wiggled around awkwardly at first but then I felt the tip of my now even harder cock being pressed against his little hole. There was a little give and then it slipped inside him again. He was roasting in there and I gasped.

Bobby giggled. "You like it as much as me don't you?"

I groaned softly. "Uh huh."

"Mmmmmmm." Bobby seemed to hum with pleasure as he continued to gently move finding that as he did so, my penis would slide slowly deeper and deeper inside of him.

Eventually it hit that special pot and he stiffened. "Oh wow!"

"That is your prostate, a special gland that, among other things, likes to be touched too."

He continued to move on me and we both began to build to our inevitable explosions. My hands were all over his smooth soft young body especially his firm round boy ass that was giving me so much pleasure. He was tightly gripping me with his arms now and just breathing his hot breath on my neck.

I was beginning to moan and gasp myself as his tight body squeezed and moved on me with such soft heat.

His breath was coming in shorter and shorter pants now and I was about to dive over the edge. I felt him tense, then a series of throbs against my stomach and a warm wetness spread. He gasped as his orgasm took him away and his body rhythmically squeezed on my swelling penis. I exploded and burst jet after hot jet of cum into him.

We clung to each other tightly, sighing and relishing the intense pleasure that we had shared. Eventually our breathing slowed and softened. Finally I realized that this sweet boy was fast asleep on top of me.

Gently, I rolled us onto our sides, gathering Bobby protectively into my arms and letting myself slip into sleep with him.

A rooster crowed off in the distance. The locals let them run wild.

I let one eye open a tiny bit and saw that the light outside had the very faint pinkish gray of the predawn. I closed my eye again and tried to go back to sleep but my bladder said otherwise. Gently, so as not to wake the sleeping boy, I slid from the bed and stepped into the tiny bathroom to relieve myself.

As I rinsed my hands a small figure moved past me to the toilet and I heard that familiar sound and a small sigh. We didn't speak, words were not necessary. I affectionately stroked the back of his head and returned to bed. A moment later Bobby followed, slipped back in bed and snuggled with me, pulling my arms around him. There was just enough light to see his sweet dimpled smile.

He whispered softly, "Yesterday was the most wonderful day of my life."

"Oh?" I whispered back.

"Yeah. I'm doing 'Treasure Island' and," he giggled, "I learned about making love." With that, he kissed me quickly on the lips and then wriggled around until his lusciously round and soft backside was pressed against my rapidly hardening penis.

"It was very special Bobby." Sliding my arms around him and snuggling close, the image of the sweet innocent boy that I knew from the TV screen came to mind. It was hard to believe that I had made love to that beautiful boy and was, I had a suspicion, about to do so again.

He moaned softly as he reached back and I felt his fingers slip around my hard cock and move it into the warmth between his sweet buns. "Do me again Jon, please?"

I groaned as I felt the heat of his body embrace my erection. "You may be doing 'Treasure Island' Bobby but I'm doing my island treasure, you." As I said this I felt my length slide deep into his tight heat and we made love for the last time.

Chapter Nine - Dean Is In Like Flynn But Not As Jim

After, as we got up, washed and dressed, we kept looking at one another and smiling. He, with his dimples beaming full blast, was clearly a very happy boy. I was too. Happy for him and, I must admit, happy for me as well. One of my teenaged fantasies had been fulfilled. Life was good.

Breakfast was quiet. Annie joined us and we just chit chatted. Ben was sitting alone at a far table and Dean was nowhere to be seen. I suspected that he was hung over.

Just as we were finishing up Annie broached the subject of Dean's banishment. "Jon, we have to talk about Ben."

"Okay." I turned to Bobby. "You have to be in wardrobe for some fitting. Why don't you run along and I'll see you for a swim later."

"Neat!" Bobby's dimples popped out again with a bright smile. Then he gave me a quick hug. "Thanks for yesterday."

As he scampered off and I watched his cute bottom bounce, Annie asked; "What was that all about?"

"Hmmmm?" I blushed. "Oh. I'm a hero I guess. He thinks I gave him the part but he really earned it all by himself. He will be great as Jim, I'm sure of it."

I got a warm smile from Annie. "You're good with the kids Jon. You should make a fine father."

My blush must have deepened as she cleared her throat and moved on to business. "Okay! Back to work. As you know, Ben wants Dean on the early morning mail plane."

I frowned. "I know but we can't do that without talking with his agent first. Besides, I suspect that he's a bit under the weather."

"Serves him right if he is." She chuckled a bit. "Okay, I'll type a note and when you meet the plane, if you could give it to the pilot he'll have his office contact Dean's agent. In the mean time we have to keep him out of Ben's way."

"Well, while I go meet the mail plane, Bobby will be in wardrobe. Maybe you can get Dean to just stay in his trailer, at least until I get back."

As we strolled out of the commissary tent, we continued discussing our plans for the day. Then, as Annie typed up a message telling Dean's agent that he would be coming back early, I went over to get my jeep out of the ditch that Dean had run it into the night before.

As I engaged the 4-wheel drive and backed out of the ditch, a rather green faced Dean dragged himself down the road and stopped on the far side. "Morning 'Crash,'" I teased.

He gave me a half hearted grin and rubbed the side of his head. "Hi."

I chuckled. "A little hung over?"

"I guess." He glared a little and then sighed. "I probably should get some tea and toast maybe."

"Well, stay away from Ben. If he sees you ..." I let him complete the thought in his mind.

For the first time I saw Dean actually look contrite. "I suppose I've blown my career."

I laughed. "Dean, far bigger stars than you have done much worse things and their careers went on just fine."

"Well, I blew a good part."

"Who knows kid, maybe you'll have a better one land in your lap today because now you're available." This time I smiled. "Anyhow, I have to get to the airstrip. You go get something to eat."

Before he could reply, I hit the gas and headed down the road. As I looked back in the rearview mirror, Dean was just standing there in my cloud of dust scratching his head.

As I rounded the bend and pulled up at the airstrip the plane was just landing. I watched as it taxied up and shut down both motors. I walked up to the pilot's side window expecting him to, as usual, slide it open and drop me the mail bag. But, he wasn't there.

When I walked around to the other side he was just dropping the steps. I waited as he ducked back inside, I supposed, to get the bag. When I saw some movement in the hatch I reached up to hand him the envelope for Dean's agent.

"What's this mate?"

I looked up and was greeted by a wide open handsome smile from Errol Flynn. "Oh. Sorry, I thought the pilot was coming out." I switched the envelope to my left hand and stuck out my right. "Welcome Mr. Flynn, we heard you were on the island but weren't expecting you here."

He continued down the steps and gave me a hearty hand shake. "Well, I heard you all were out here doing final auditions and I thought I'd come and say G-day."

"It's a pleasant surprise. Are you alone?" I looked around for the two beauties he was said to have in tow.

"Yup. Just me." He laughed. "The girls are shopping."

The pilot came to the door and we traded mail bag for the letter for Dean's agent. Errol thanked him and told him he'd be here for the afternoon flight.

"Right then mate! Can I hop a ride?" Then he heartily clapped me on the back.

I smiled. "Sure thing." I knew where this was headed.

As we drove back he mentioned his upcoming project and I mentioned that Dean might make a good Kim.

"Actually," he unconsciously lowered his voice. "Don't tell Dean this but I'm down hear looking for him. I have heard some good things and think we might be simpatico."

I burst out laughing and he looked at me as it to say; What?

I caught my breath and quickly swerved to avoid a chicken in the road. "Mr. Flynn, you and Dean are cut from the same yard goods. I expect you will get on quite well."

As we came down the road, past the spot where Dean had barfed on Ben, I spied him just coming out of the commissary tent and lightly honked the horn.

Dean glanced up and, as we approached, took a moment to realize who was with me. I expected him to be nervous, maybe even shy, in the presence of so well know a movie star. But, the kid surprised me. He made sure he was on Errol's side of the jeep when I stopped it.

His confidence showed as I introduced them and he shook hands. "It's neat to meet you Mr. Flynn."

"It's a pleasure to meet you as well Dean." Errol seemed a bit tight and I suspected that kids made him nervous. "Jon here tells me that you are leaving today?"

"Yup, 'fraid so. Bobby seems better suited for the part of Jim Hawkins." I was very impressed with the lad's graciousness and gave him a wink and a thumbs-up from behind Errol.

"Well then mate, let's have a little chat over a cup a tea." He turned and winked at me as he shepherded Dean back into the commissary tent.

I drove over to Annie's trailer/office and let her know what was going on. After she got over a near swoon knowing that the great and gorgeous Errol Flynn was here, she quickly asked what Ben would do. I was a bit crude in my comment about what Ben could do and she blushed again.

"I'm sorry for my language Annie but this is a big break for both boys and Ben is just a jerk."

"Yes, I suppose you're right." Then she laughed. "Jon, you'll have to excuse me. I need a cup of tea very bad."

I chuckled too but held up my hand. "C'mon Annie, let's be professional. I'm sure you'll have a chance to meet him at lunch. He's staying until the afternoon plane."

It was time to check in on Bobby down in wardrobe so I ambled over there.

I stifled a groan as I walked in. "Hi Bobby. How goes the fitting?" The poor kid was standing there in just his tights and the big buckled pirate shoes and no shirt. While, to me, he looked good enough to eat, he was clearly mortified that the young girl who was rummaging through the racks could see every lump and wrinkle of his boyness.

I got a pleading frown in response. "Just peachy keen."

The part of Jim Hawkins doesn't call for many different changes but I suspect they had been looking for the best combinations. They also had to have different shirts in various stages of dirtiness and wear. Jim's time on the island was to be quite active and his shirt was to be torn in a few places.

I gave him a sympathetic smile. "It'll be over soon. Besides, I have a surprise."

"A surprise? For me!?" He gave me an excited smile.

I chuckled. "Well, it's a surprise visitor. I'll tell you when you're done here."

Finally, he was allowed to put on the best shirt, the brown leather waistcoat and a nifty looking tri-corner hat. He looked smashing and dashing and I told him so. "You are a very good looking boy Bobby. I think you will steal the show."

He blushed a deep red. It was very sweet and I slipped my arm around his shoulders as we left the wardrobe tent. "Okay, now what's the surprise?" He giggled. "I love surprises."

"Errol Flynn was on the mail plane and he's in the commissary with Dean right now."

"Really!" His eyes were alight. "Maybe he has a part for Dean. I felt sad for him."

I gave him a squeeze. "You're a good guy Bobby. Yes, I think he might have a part for Dean."

"Neat!" Then he stopped dead in his tracks, turned around and dashed back to wardrobe. "Wait a sec Jon! I gotta get somethin'."

A moment later he returned with another tri-corner hat with a bright blue plume sticking out of the hat band. It was the Captain's hat.

"What's that for?" I asked with a little suspicion.

"I think it looks neat and want to show Mr. Flynn. It's his style."

I thought he was cute and still the uninhibited little boy showed through. "Oh, he'll love it I'm sure."

We trouped into the commissary tent, Bobby with blue plumed hat in hand. Errol and Dean were laughing and obviously had hit it off.

I very proudly introduced Bobby. "Mr. Flynn, I'd like to introduce Mr. Bobby Driscoll, our Jim Hawkins."

Bobby put the Captain's hat down and very formally shook hands with the big movie star. "It's an honor sir."

Errol laughed loudly. "Sir? I'm hardly a sir Bobby but it's nice to meet you as well. And, congratulations."

Bobby beamed and flashed those dimples. "Thank you si ... Mr. Flynn."

"So Bobby, what's that grand hat for?"

"Oh!" Bobby removed the hat he had on and grabbed the Captain's hat, putting it on. He looked silly as it sank down over his ears hiding them. He unselfconsciously giggled at himself.

"Har there Capt'n!" Errol roared. "Where're yer buccaneers?"

Again Bobby giggled. "Under my buckin' hat!"

The whole commissary cracked up, Errol slapped his leg and reared back in that famous unrestrained laugh of his and even Dean couldn't resist the humor and cuteness of it.

"Well boys!" Errol declared. "It appears that Treasure Island has it's Jim Hawkins and I have found my Kim."

"Yes." I responded. "Both boys are perfect for their parts."

"Huh? Who are you talking to?" It was my boyfriend and I was back home.

Sad Post Script -

In real life as a youngster in the 1950's, I ached for more information and pictures of this heartthrob of mine, Bobby Driscoll. All these years later in deciding to write this fantasy, I had to do some research so I went in the InterNet. Soon, much to my shock and horror, I discovered that Bobby Driscoll was dead. He had died of a drug overdose in 1968, in an abandoned building in New York City. His career having faded away as he progressed through puberty and into his later teens. Something that happens to many child stars, often with great emotional strain. Still, it is wonderful to be able to see his movie successes and enjoy his talented acting as well as his sweet and innocent good looks.
