Storm

The wind was blowing the driving rain against the windshield of my Powder Blue Chrysler La Baron convertible so hard that the windshield wipers couldn't keep up with it. Therefore, I could barely see the front of the car, much less the road ahead. My only relief was that I had travelled this same road so many times in the years past when I went home to see my parents, that I knew where I was. Even though I was only about fifty miles from home now, there was no way that I could keep going in this freak rain storm. Knowing the road well meant that I knew I was getting close to a town called Rapid Springs, which had an old hotel that was about half a mile up ahead. If I could make it to the hotel without running over someone, or off the road, I could pull in and get a room either for the night or until the storm blew over. Once there, I could call my parents and let them know I would be there later or the next day.

I looked at my watch; eleven-fifty-five. I had planned on being at my parent's house by now, but I had a rush job to do before I could leave home. I worked at home using my computer to do typing work for the public, and just as I was walking out the door, someone had shown up wanting me to type up a newsletter for him. If he hadn't been a regular customer, I would have told him that he would have to wait until I got back from vacation. It took me about an hour to finish the newsletter, and then I was able to leave. Since my parents only lived a hundred miles away, it normally didn't take more than two hours to get there. By the time I left, the radio was reporting a storm heading our way, and I ran into it about fifteen miles south of Rapid Springs. It took me about forty minutes to make the fifteen minute drive in the pouring rain.

The rain let up just in time for me to see the looming hotel sign to my right, and I was able to turn into the drive before passing it. I parked under the canopy and breathed a sigh of relief. As I got out of the car I almost fell. I hadn't realized how much energy it had taken to concentrate on driving in the torrential rain. Leaning against the car for a moment I regained enough strength to make it into the lobby.

"Good afternoon, Sir," the lanky desk clerk said as I walked in. "Terrible storm out, isn't it?"

"Yes, it is," I replied, glancing at his name tag. "And very difficult to drive in. Have you heard how long it's supposed to last, Tim?"

"No, Sir. The radio isn't volunteering that information."

"I didn't hear anything either. I'd like a room for the night at least, then," I said taking out my wallet to get my credit card.

"You are lucky, Mr. Campbell," he said turning to verify my card, "you are getting the last room. This storm has filled us up fast."

"Oh dear. How long has it been raining?"

"About two hours. We are beginning to worry about run off. Luckily we are up on this hill, so we don't have to worry for a while, but if it doesn't stop soon, the lower floors may have a problem," he explained. "Your room is on the second floor above the office. You may park over here behind the office, and you won't have to worry about getting wet going up to your room."

"Thanks, I appreciate that."

I finished filling out my registration folio, took the key and returned to the car.

After getting to the room, I took a long hot shower and then called my parents. They were getting rain also, and were glad that I had gotten a room. I told them I would call them when the storm broke, but would probably spend the night anyway since I was still weak from the tension of the drive.

I turned on the television to The Weather Channel and sat on the edge of the bed and watched as they reported on the storm overhead. I could hear thunder now, it hadn't been thundering when I arrived.

After about half an hour, I got bored with the Weather Channel, and decided to run down to the desk and see what the hotel had to offer, since there was nowhere to go for lunch and I was getting hungry.

Looking outside as I left the room I could tell it was raining harder than it had before, when I was driving. I arrived in the lobby through the back door just as the front door opened and the best looking guy I'd ever seen walked in.

"Shit!" he exclaimed. "I have never seen it rain this hard here," he said as he shook the rain off his cowboy hat. He was wearing a pair of soaked jeans and boots. He didn't have on a jacket, and his plaid shirt was soaked also.

"Hello Mr. Bennett," Tim said, then turned to me and smiled. "May I help you, Mr. Campbell?"

"I just " I couldn't keep my eyes off of Mr. Bennett as he walked over to the desk, " wanted some information," I said trying to force myself to look at Tim. "But why don't you go ahead and help him, so he can get out of those wet cloths?"

"Thanks," Mr. Bennett said; he had a nice smile.

"Okay. What can I do for you today, Mr. Bennett?" Tim asked.

"Get me a room so I can get a shower and out of these wet clothes," he replied.

"Oh. I thought you were already registered," Tim replied worriedly.

"No, I didn't know I was going to get stranded here; I checked out at about six-forty-five this morning. I had some work to do here in town, but didn't plan on coming back before going home."

"Oh dear," Tim said. "I'm afraid we are full, and all of our guests are in house. This storm has filled us up fast. The room attendants barely got the rooms cleaned before I rented them. Some guests had to wait by the pool for their rooms to be made."

"You're shitting me?"

"Sorry, Sir," Tim replied, apologetically.

"And there's not another hotel around here either," Mr. Bennett said with a sigh. "Shit, that's just my luck."

"Well, before you catch pneumonia," I said, "why don't you come upstairs with me? You can take a shower and get out of those wet cloths. I have a robe you can use if you don't have any dry clothes, then we'll worry about where you can stay later. Who knows, maybe this will blow over, and you can go on home before it gets too late."

"Are you sure you don't mind?" he asked, hopefully.

"Yes, I'm sure. My name is Scott Campbell," I said extending my hand.

He had a warm strong grip as he said, "David Bennett. Nice to meet you."

"My pleasure," I replied, trying my hardest not to make a pass at him.

"Well, I have my suitcase in the van, but it's across the way at the insurance agency, and I don't feel like going back out there in this rain," he said.

"That's okay," I said with a shrug. "Like I said, I have a robe you can borrow. When the rain stops, I can run out to your car for you."

"You don't know how much I appreciate this," David said as a flash of lightening dimmed the lights for a moment.

"Uh oh," Tim said, "I'd better take the computers down."

"Do you want me to come back and help you take them down?" David asked as he pushed the door open.

"No, thanks though. I have done it before," Tim replied.

"Yes, I know, but if you need any help, call me."

"Okay, will do. Thanks." To my surprise he gave me a wink and a thumbs up as I followed David out the door.

As David and I arrived at my room another flash of lightning dowsed the lights.

"Oh great," I said leaving the door open so the emergency lights in the hallway could spread some light into the dark room; I had left the curtain closed. "I guess we're either going to have to leave the door open or sit in the dark."

"You've obviously never stayed here during a storm before," David said putting his hat on the counter in the dressing room.

"No, I have never stayed here, period," I admitted. "My parents live about fifty miles from here, in Spring Lake, and I usually make it home, so I don't have to stop. I live in Springville, and it's only about a hundred miles from Spring Lake."

David took his shirt off and hung it on a hanger in the dressing room, then sat down in the dark bathroom on the toilet and took his boots off. He hung his wet socks over the shower curtain rod to dry. I could barely see him from the light in the hallway. A moment later the lights came back on.

"You can close the outside door now," he said as another flash of lightning lit up the room. "The hotel has a generator, and it just kicked in," he explained.

I closed the door and as I turned around to face into the dressing room he dropped his pants. My heart leapt into my throat. His underwear were wet, too, and clung to him tightly, leaving hardly anything to the imagination. He folded his wet jeans over the curtain rod.

"I'm going to have to wait till the storm blows over to take a shower," he said, "I don't want to get electrocuted taking a shower." Turning his back to me, he took a piss.

"No, we don't want you getting electrocuted," I agreed, turning on the TV.

"That's better," he said as he walked into the room, he had grabbed a towel and dried himself off, now he stood before me with it wrapped around his muscular waist. "Now I won't die of pneumonia," he said smiling.

"Good," I said, sitting down at the table. I could see he had left his wet underwear on the sink to dry.

David went to the window and pulled the curtain back so he could look out."This is the worst storm I've seen here," he said shaking his head. "We may be in for a long night."

"Well," I said, "I guess you can spend the night here if you want. Too bad there's only one bed, but I'm sure we can make do if we have to. Anything to keep you from having to spend the night in your car."

"Yeah, that wouldn't be much fun."

"Why were you parked over at the insurance place?" I asked.

"Oh, I had a couple of jobs to do here in town," he explained, "and I've been over there at the insurance agency next door since about nine. I had to go to another office building across town first, then I got back and parked there, but didn't have an umbrella, or want to risk driving over in the rain. I would have come over when it let up earlier, but was right in the middle of something, so I couldn't."

"Oh, that makes sense," I agreed and got up and got my blue bathrobe out of my suitcase and handed it to him.

"Thanks," he said, "but there are two robes in the dressing room that the hotel supplies, I can use one of them." He went into the dressing room and got one. It was a one size fits all, so it fit him better than mine would have. "That's better. I was a bit cold," he admitted, sitting down at the table with me. We watched the rain out the window in silence, while The Weather Channel kept us informed of flooding in the area.

"Are you hungry?" I asked about fifteen minutes later, realizing I never got a chance to ask Tim if there was room service.

"Yeah, I could eat something. How about you?"

"Yeah, me, too," I said, "but where could we go in this weather?"

"Don't worry, there's room service here," he said getting up. He went to the desk beside the table the TV was on and picked up a menu by the phone. "Since you haven't been here before, you'll be glad to know that the food here is wonderful," he said sitting back down at the table. "So, what are you hungry for?"

"Oh, I don't know," I replied, "what's on the menu?"

We ordered roast beef sandwiches with homemade fries and soft drinks. It took about fifteen minutes before there was a knock at the door. David answered it.

We ate slowly while we watched the rain and the lightning, and I jumped occasionally when it thundered loudly.

David was easy to talk to. I found out that he owned the local computer store in Spring Lake, and went to Springville twice a month for computer shows. He always stopped at this hotel because he had installed the computer for the hotel, and would take care of maintenance and upgrades for the them. That also explained why he volunteered to help Tim take the computer down.

When we finished eating, I cleared the plates and put them back on the tray and wheeled them out into the hallway.

"That was great," I said closing the door behind me.

The rain didn't let up for the rest of the afternoon. We sat at the table and flipped through channels on TV, watched it rain, and chatted about everything.

We finally found a good old movie to watch, and when it was over David switched off the TV.

"There's an indoor pool here," he said, "if you brought your swim trunks, we can go for a swim."

"Are you sure you haven't had enough water for one day?" I teased.

He smiled, "Well, actually, yeah, but the water in the pool will be warm, and if you're a people watcher like I am, it will be fun to watch the other guests. Since the hotel is full, everyone will probably either be there or in the gift shop."

We agreed to this, and I got up and opened my suitcase. I hadn't unpacked, since I hadn't planned on staying more than one night, if that long. While I took out my swim trunks, David, still wearing the robe, ran down to the gift shop to get some since I only had one pair. When he got back he went into the bathroom and put his swim trunks on. I had mine on by the time he returned from the gift shop.

He came out of the bathroom with two towels, and had draped one around his neck. His bikini shorts hid the bulge in his crotch, but only because he had pushed his cock between his legs.

"Well, I see we're going to have to get you some bikini shorts," he said looking at me in my shorts that had a tie at the waist, and built in net underwear.

"Why?" I asked. "These don't look that bad, do they?"

"No, but you can't get a good tan with them on." He walked over and pulled the bottom of the right leg up to my waist, his warm hand touching my thigh. "See, when you get a tan wearing these, if you sit down and your leg rides up, everyone's going to see your tan line, and that looks tacky."

"Oh. Well, I've never been able to tan. I always burn, then peel and turn white again," I explained putting my towel around my shoulders.

"It's that blond hair of yours," he replied with a smile. "Is it true that blonds have more fun?" He had a mischievous twinkle in his deep blue eyes.

"I don't know," I replied with a shrug, "I usually seem to have a good time."

He laughed. "Have you tried using a tanning salon?"

"No, I haven't," I admitted.

"How long are you planning on staying in Spring Lake?" he asked.

"About two weeks. If I ever get there, that is."

"Yeah, I know what you mean."

"After I get back to Springville," I said, "you'll have to give me a call when you get to town, and come over for dinner or something."

"I'd like that," he said with a warm smile.

"And, when we get to Spring Lake, we're going to work on getting you a tan," he informed me. "And two weeks should be long enough to get you a base tan," he said, "as long as you tan daily."

"Okay, I'll try anyway," I said getting the key off of the nightstand.

We went out into the hallway and I closed the door and followed him down the corridor to the arboretum where they had the indoor pool. I watched his strong back and loved the way he walked on the balls of his feet, making the muscles in his calves bulge. He had a nice tight little ass, too.

David was right, the pool area was swarming with guests. We found a table near a palm tree where we could sit. There wasn't much room in the pool, but we hung our towels over the chairs and made our way to it. David was also correct when he had said the water would be warm.

We swam and played in the water for about an hour, then sat at the table and watched everyone else. There were some cute guys there, but I could tell most of them were married because they were with women and children.

"That couple just got married," David said nudging me and gesturing to a young couple that were in the water across the pool from us.

"How can you tell?" I asked watching as they kissed.

"I was just checking in last night when they arrived. They're in the honeymoon suite. Oops, he'd better be careful or security will throw them out," he added with a laugh as the guy got a hard on and it popped out of the top of his bikini briefs.

Embarrassed, the guy plunged underwater, and then came back up and kept the lower half of his body under the water, letting his new wife sit on the edge of the pool while he put his hands on her thighs and faced her. She had turned red, and looked around the area to make sure no one had seen him. By the time her gaze got to us, we were looking at each other, trying not to laugh.

"This is a nice place," I said looking around the arboretum, making sure not to look at the newly weds. "I guess I'll have to start coming here more often. As long as it's not raining, that is. Maybe I can get my parents to meet me here for a weekend once in a while. They don't get out enough."

"Do they ever visit you?"

"Yes, but not very often. I only have a one bedroom apartment. I don't have a sleeper sofa, either. If they do come, they just spend the day then go home. I still have my old room at their house, in Spring Lake. That's where I grew up. So it's easier for me to go home than for them to come see me."

"That makes sense," he agreed. "If you work out of your apartment, where's your office if you only have one bedroom?"

"I use the dining room for my office. There's a balcony overlooking the pool, so I have a good view from my desk," I explained.

"That makes it nice, I'm sure," David agreed.

We stayed out by the pool until about five and then decided we should go back in. The rain was still pounding the roof. Quite a few of the guests had left at four when the manager announced over the speaker system that water was beginning to seep in the outside doors to the West wing. The staff was sand bagging the doors, so there shouldn't be anything to worry about. The street in front of the hotel had been closed due to flooding.

"Are you sure your car will be okay?" I had asked David.

"Oh yeah, it's a van, so it should be okay, but if it's not, there's not much I can do," he admitted with a shrug. "Where you're parked, yours will be okay."

"Do you want me to stop by the desk for some clean towels?" David asked as we went back up to my room.

"I can go with you, if you don't mind," I replied. I really wanted to stay with him. I couldn't wait to see Tim's face when we walked in wearing only our swim trunks. Unfortunately, when we got to the desk, a man named Bob was on duty, and Tim had been gone since three.

We had Bob put David's name on the phone list for the room so if his office called they would know where to reach him.

When we returned to the room, David went into the bathroom to take his wet suit off. I took mine off in the bedroom. I had just dried off and put the towel around me when he walked in with the towel around him.

Another clap of thunder kept me from hearing what he said, so I had him repeat it, "I said, do you want to order dinner, or go to the dining room? If we go to the dining room, it's black tie in the evenings, and I'm not in the mood to go black tie."

"Good, because I don't even own a tie," I replied.

"Must be nice."

"It is. What are you in the mood for? I'm not very hungry."

We ordered a couple of club sandwiches. While we waited for them, David called his office to let them know he was fine and would be spending another night. I noticed he didn't give the room number or tell the person he was talking to he had to share a room. When the room service attendant arrived, David went into the bathroom and I answered the door, still wearing my towel.

After the attendant left, David returned. When he sat down, the towel came undone, revealing only his soft dark pubic hair.

He pulled the towel back up as I held mine up and sat down.

"Now that's what I should do, I guess," he said with a smile.

"Oh well, it's not that big of a deal," I replied as I felt my cock stirring under the towel. I pulled myself up closer to the table.

David turned on the TV. The remote was sitting on the table beside him. We watched the news and ate in silence. The storm had passed over Spring Lake with no flooding or damage. However, it had stalled over Rapid Springs and the streets were flooded. The storm had not moved on to Springville. It was staying right over us with no letting up in sight.

After we ate, David cleaned up the table and put the tray outside. We watched TV for the remainder of the evening. I called my parents again to let them know that though the streets were flooded, the hotel was high enough that except for the West wing, but there wasn't anything to worry about.

By nine o'clock, the thunder and lightning had ceased, but it was still raining.

"Great," David said, "now I can finally get a quick shower before everyone else uses up the hot water, that is, unless you want to get one first?"

"No, go ahead. I do want to take one, but you have been waiting since noon."

While David took a shower I started to pull the cover back on the bed when there was a knock at the door. Pulling the towel tighter around me, I went to the door.

"Room attendant," a woman called from the other side.

I opened it. "I am here to turn down your bed, I can come back later, if you like," she said looking me over.

I had stayed in hotels like this before, the night time room attendants only pulled the cover back and placed a mint on the pillows.

"I think it would be best if I just do it myself," I replied as David turned the water off in the shower. "Thank you though."

"Very well, Sir," she replied. "Here are your mints," she handed me two, gave me a wink, and went on down the hallway to the next room.

I closed the door, went back to the bed and pulled the cover back. I shrugged and placed a mint on each pillow, closed the curtains, and sat back down at the table.

A moment later, David came out with the towel wrapped around his waist again. "All yours," he said sitting down at the table across from me, this time when the towel fell down, he didn't adjust it.

"Thanks," I said.

As I headed for the bathroom, he said, "I see the maid came to fix the bed."

Turning around, I could see his pubic hair clearly from where I stood, but he didn't move the towel. "Yeah, she did." I went into the bathroom and closed the door.

After masturbating while thinking about David, I finished my shower and got out and dried off. Wrapping the towel around my waist, I went out into the bedroom. David was still sitting in the chair, but he had has head back and was asleep. The towel had fallen off his lap onto the floor he was still sitting on part of it leaving his limp cock exposed. He was about seven inches long and cut. I picked up his towel and put it over his lap,. Getting my nightshirt out of my suitcase, I put it on and took the towel back in the bathroom, brushed my teeth.

He was sitting up flipping channels when I got back into the bedroom. I glanced at the bedside clock and noticed it was ten. "Do you want to go to bed, or watch the news first?" I asked sitting down on the side of the bed closest to the back wall.

"No, I'm tired. Are you sure you don't mind me staying here tonight?" he asked switching off the TV.

"No," I replied with a smile. "I'm not so cold hearted that I would let you sleep out in the hallway, or your van, if you could swim to it. Besides, we've already put your name on the phone list for the room."

"Yeah, well, you don't know how glad I am to hear that," he said. "I guess I can call the desk and get a couple of blankets or a roll-a- way."

"This is a queen sized bed," I said. "I don't mind you sleeping over here. A lot softer here than on the floor, and the roll-a-way will cost more. But it's up to you."

"Well, you have a point there, but I do have to warn you, I snore," he said smiling as he got up and crossed the room, holding the towel in front of him.

"Even if you slept on the floor or a roll-a-way, I would still hear you snore."

"Yeah, you have a point there," he agreed as I turned off the light and lay down.

He got into bed and we lay there listening to the sound of the rain on the roof.

"I hope it stops raining before morning," he said softly. "We may float off if it doesn't."

"That would be just your luck, wouldn't it?" I said lightly.

"Yeah, it would, wouldn't it?" he chuckled. He reached under the cover and squeezed my leg, we were both laying on our backs. "I really appreciate this," he said softly. "You've changed my luck for the better."

"My pleasure," I replied putting my hand on his and squeezing back. "But you realize, that if you hadn't checked out this morning, I would have been the one stranded tonight, because I got the last room."

"Oh, I didn't know that. Yeah, you have a point there, and I probably wouldn't have been there to let you stay with me tonight either.

"Good night, Scott," he said and rolled over onto his right side, turning his back to me.

"Good night, David." I said and turned onto my left side.

"Oh shit!" David exclaimed.

I jumped up and turned on the light. He was hopping toward the bed holding his right foot. His limp cock was flopping up and down as he hopped. "What happened?" I asked as he sat down on the edge of the bed.

"I got up to go to the bathroom, and on the way back I stumped my toe on the chair by the table," he replied rubbing his sore toe.

"Let me see it," I said pulling his hand away from it. The way he was sitting, his cock wasn't far away. I pulled his foot over onto my lap and turned on the lamp on his side of the bed. "It's not bleeding," I said with a sigh of relief. "It will probably be black and blue by morning though." I looked at the clock, it was only two-thirty. We could still hear the rain on the roof.

"Good, glad to hear it's not bleeding," he said. "I feel like it's broken though."

I rubbed his foot for a while, listening to the rain and trying not to stare at his cock.

"Mm, that feels better," he said leaning back on his hands. "Sounds like it's still raining. I hope everything is going to be okay out there."

"Yeah, me too," I agreed. "But in here, everything's going to be just fine," I said referring to his foot.

"Thanks, I owe you for another one," he said pulling his foot out of my lap and laying down beside me.

"Nonsense, you don't owe me anything," I replied pulling the sheet up over me. He turned off the light on his side of the bed. I turned out the one on my side. "The next time you need to go to the bathroom, why don't you turn on the light? It won't bother me near as much as you hurting yourself again."

"Okay, if you insist."

"I do."

We lay down and went back to sleep, listening to the rain on the roof again.

I woke up sometime later, still laying on my left side. David's arm was draped over me, and his warm body was pressed tightly against me. I could feel his hard cock pressed against my bottom. I pushed back against him and rubbed his strong arm. With my hand on his arm, I went back to sleep.

"Scott?" David whispered in my ear. "Scott, wake up."

"Mm?" I woke up. I was holding his arm tightly against me. His mustache tickled my ear as he tried to wake me up. I turned against his warm hard body. "What's wrong?" I asked worriedly.

"Nothing, I just needed my arm back," he whispered, smiling.

"Oh, I'm sorry," I replied. I was laying on my right side now and his arm was still around me. His warm hairy chest was pressed against mine. It was then I wished that I hadn't worn my night shirt.

He rolled onto his back. Looking down, I could see he still had a hard on under the sheet. "Oh man, what time is it?" he groaned. I raised up to look at the clock.

"It's only seven-thirty, we don't have to get up yet," I said getting out of bed.

"Where are you going then?" he asked, sleepily.

"To the bathroom."

"Hurry back then," he said and dozed off.

I smiled and went to the bathroom. I took a piss then headed back to bed. I stopped at the window to look out, the sun was just coming up over the horizon and it was clear, but the streets were rivers. The only activity outside was the water rushing down them. We would be staying another night unless a boat came to pick us up.

"That's a pretty sunrise," David said as his arm brushed my back. "And look, there's a rainbow," he pointed past me to where it was.

"Yes, it is pretty," I agreed. "The storm is over."

"Yeah," he said as I turned to look at him. He was standing behind me stark naked, and still had a hard on. He was about nine inches long and it curved upward. He looked down at himself and smiled. "Well, we'll be here again tonight, it looks like," he said turning and going to the bathroom.

"Yeah, it looks that way," I agreed as I turned back to the window and stood there watching the water rushing down the street.

"I thought we were going to stay in bed for a while," he said.

I turned around; he was back in bed with the sheet over him. Closing the curtain, I went back around to my side of the bed. "That's a good idea," I agreed. "I'll call my parents later and let them know it will probably be a few days before I can get there."

"I have to call the office and let them know I'm stranded also," he said as I lay down on my left side facing the wall. "I know one thing though," he added, but then stopped.

"What's that?" I asked turning over to face him.

He smiled up at me, "I'm glad you're the one I'm stranded with."

"Oh, David," I said blushing, "so am I."

He laughed and I sat there staring at his handsome face.

"What?" he asked after a moment.

I smiled and shook my head. "Nothing."

"No, there's something. Come on, you can tell me. What?"

"Never mind," I said and turned back over.

"You're not going to get away with it that easily," he said and started tickling me on the right side.

"No, stop!" I cried.

He was laughing now. So was I. He turned me over onto my back and, with his warm body crushing against me, continued to tickle me. His hard cock was pressing against my leg, I couldn't move at all. Just laugh. "Okay, okay. I give!" I cried trying to catch my breath. My own cock was throbbing now.

He stopped tickling me and held me so I couldn't move. His face was close to mine. "Okay, 'fes up, what is it?" he said trying to keep a straight face.

I looked into his beautiful blue eyes and smiled. "You have a nice smile," I said, and looked down at his hard, hairy chest.

We lay there like that for a moment or two in silence, "Thank you," he finally said. "No one's ever told me that before."

"You're welcome," I replied smiling up at him.

He let go of my hands, and, pushing himself up with one hand on either side of me, got to his knees. I could see his hard cock as he moved back over to his side of the bed. He sat up in bed and pulled the sheet up to his waist. He lay back down and rolled over with his back to me. "What time do you want to get up?" he asked softly.

"Oh, I don't care," I replied rolling over onto my left side. "Nine, ten, eleven. Whenever you want to."

He chuckled. "That's what I like about you, Scott. You're so easy going."

We must have dozed off again because I was awakened an hour later by the ringing of the phone.

I opened my eyes to discover I was laying with my head on David's warm hairy chest. I raised up and reached across him and picked up the phone.

"This is Scott," I said as David opened his eyes.

"Scott? This is Sheila Perkins, with Computers Now in Spring Lake. I was calling for David Bennett. Did the desk give me the wrong room?"

"No, he's here," I replied and handed the receiver to him. He took it as I mouthed "Sheila Perkins?"

"Hi Sheila," he said into the receiver. "How are you this morning?"

Getting up, I and went into the bathroom, closed the door, and took a shower. I turned the water off and pushed the shower curtain back. The door was open and David was standing in front of the toilet. He started to piss as I stood there watching him.

He looked at me and smiled as the piss ran out of his cock. "Good morning," he said, taking a towel off the rack and handing it to me.

"Good morning," I replied. "Thanks."

"That was Sheila, from the office," he informed me, shaking his cock to get the last drop of piss out.

"I figured she must have been from the office," I replied putting my right foot on the side of the tub to dry my leg.

"I see you are a natural blond," he said as I switched legs.

"Yes, I am," I replied and blushed as I realized that he was seeing me nude for the first time.

He chuckled as I stepped out of the tub. "That's a pretty shade of pink," he said. I turned my back to him to finish drying myself off.

His warm hand touched my shoulder and he turned me back around. "Why are you being bashful all of a sudden?" he asked, his blue eyes twinkling. "I've been running around nude all morning. And slept with you nude. That didn't bother you one bit, now I see you nude, and you're blushing."

"Sorry," I said drying my hair. "I just thought of something, and got embarrassed."

"Oh, what's that?" he asked with a grin.

"That this is the first time you've seen me nude, that's all."

"Yeah. Most guys don't run around nude in front of each other," he said, climbing into the tub. "Unless they're lovers, that is," he added, pulling the curtain closed.

I didn't say anything. I finished drying off as he started taking his shower. After hanging the towel up over the toilet, I went into the dressing room and brushed my teeth. I was on my way to my suitcase when the phone rang.

"This is Scott," I answered it.

"Hi Mr. Campbell, this is Bob at the front desk."

"Hello. How's it going this morning, now that the rain has stopped?"

"Not very well, I must admit," he said with a sigh. "I am calling on behalf of the management," he continued. "Since we are all trapped here until the water runs off, we are offering our guests free lodging until we can leave. We are only asking that you pay for meals, phone calls, movies; the usual."

"Oh. Well that's not bad. I appreciate that. I couldn't really afford to stay here last night."

"Oh. I'm sorry, but we are still charging for last night."

"That's fine."

"Oh good. I'm glad to hear that. I am also to inform you that we do have room service still available, but there won't be any maid service. Most of the room attendants got to leave before it got too bad yesterday, and they couldn't come in this morning, as you can guess. We will have one of the evening attendants come by for towels and anything else you need, this morning, but they won't be making up the rooms."

"That's okay. All we really need up here are about four more towels. We'll probably spend a lot of the day down by the pool."

"Good. I'll let the manager know that's all you need," he said. "But if you need anything else, you can tell the attendant when she arrives."

"Okay. Thanks," I said and hung up.

I got dressed in the shorts and tee shirt I had worn the day before. I had just finished making the bed when David came out of the bathroom, drying off.

"You didn't have to do that," he said drying his back, "the room attendant will be here soon."

"Well, yes and no," I replied and explained what Bob had said when he called.

"Well that's good," he said rubbing his crotch with his towel. "Oh, can I borrow your razor? I want to shave and all my stuff is in the van."

"No," I replied with a grin. "I think you look good with a days growth," I teased.

"Well, thanks," he said with a big grin.

"Actually, I don't have to shave, so I don't own a razor," I admitted.

He came over to me wrapping the towel around his waist. He ran his warm hand down the side of my face. "Why not?" he asked frowning.

"I never needed to," I said with a shrug.

"No, it's natural for a guy when he reaches puberty to shave, maybe not right away, but at least by the time he's twenty." He frowned again. "How old are you, anyway?"

"I'm twenty-nine," I replied with a grin. "And you?"

"Thirty-three." He put his hands on his hips and starting grinning slyly. "Now, are you going to be honest with me or am I going to have to tickle the truth out of you again?"

"Well, as much as I wouldn't like that," I said, though my cock stirred in my shorts at the thought of his warm body next to mine as he tickled me, "it's true. You can ask my brother and my dad. Who knows," I added with a shrug, "you might even be able to ask my mother."

"Believe me, I'm going to," he said grinning as there was a knock at the door.

He pulled the towel off, walked over to the table and picked up the bathrobe and put it on, then opened the door. It was the room attendant.

"You requested four towels?" she asked.

"Yes," David replied with a glance at me. I went into the bathroom and picked up the dirty ones, and gave them to her.

"If you need anything else, please call the front desk," she said and continued her way down the hallway as David closed the door.

"Why four?" he asked taking the new towels to the bathroom.

"So we can use two to go to the pool," I replied.

"Oh, good, I was hoping you'd want to do that," he said, picking up the menu. "What do you want for breakfast?"

It was about ten and I was pretty hungry, so I ordered the 2+2+2 breakfast, which was 2 eggs, 2 sausage, and 2 pancakes. Breakfast arrived about fifteen minutes later, and I could tell the attendant was tired and worried.

After we ate, I cleared the table, putting the tray out in the hallway. We watched TV for a while then David got up and looked out the window.

"I wish I could get out to my car to get my suitcase," he said, "but the water hasn't receded enough." He went over to the night stand and got his wallet out of the drawer. "I'll be right back, I've got to run to the gift shop." He stopped with his hand on the door, "What size pants do you wear?" he asked.

"Thirty waist, thirty length, why?" I asked, puzzled.

"I was going to borrow a pair, so I wouldn't have to go in there with this robe on again, but since I wear a thirty-four/thirty-six it wouldn't work."

"Sorry," I said smiling, "I got my size from my mother. Your pants should be dry by now," I reminded him. "It's been almost twenty- four hours."

"Oh, that's right, I forgot," he said and went into the dressing room. He got dressed but I noticed he didn't put on his underwear or his socks and boots.

"I'll be right back," he said and left closing the door.

I called my parents to let them know that the streets were flooded and I would have to stay another night, but would call and let them know what the streets were like in the morning.

David returned about fifteen minutes later with a bag full of stuff. He had bought some disposable razors, shave cream, a toothbrush and toothpaste, and a pair of blue bikini swim trunks for me.

"I can't let you pay for these," I said as he handed them to me.

"Why not?" he asked, hugging me. "Let's just say they're a thank you for everything you've done. Put them on and let's see how you look in them. Then we can go down to the pool and show them off."

I took my shorts and underwear off while he went into the dressing room to shave. I took off my shirt and looked in the bedroom mirror. Though they were size thirty they were kind of tight, and the top of them just barely covered my pubic hair.

I walked over to the doorway of the dressing room. David was standing nude in front of the mirror. He had just finished shaving. "Well? What do you think?" I asked, catching his eye in the mirror as he washed the remaining cream off his face.

He turned around and looked at me and I noticed his cock twitch. "Turn around," he said with a grin as he dried his face off. I turned and made a slow circle. When I turned to face him again he was holding the towel in front of his crotch. "Looks much better than those others," he said appreciatively.

"Thank you," I replied grinning. He turned around and got his black briefs off the counter and, with his back to me, put them on. I was able to see that he had a hard on in the mirror, so instead of embarrassing him, I went into the bathroom and got a couple of towels.

"Are you ready to go to the pool?" he asked, taking the towel I handed him and putting it around his waist. I put my towel around my shoulders.

"Whenever you are," I replied glancing at his crotch. I couldn't see a bulge anymore.

"How's your toe this morning?" I asked as we headed out the door.

"Still kind of sore," he admitted. "But not as bad as it was this morning at two-thirty."

The arboretum was crowded again. We weren't able to find a table this time, but we found a nice place in the corner next to the shallow end of the pool where we lay our towels and sat down to wait until it had been an hour since we had eaten.

We watched some kids playing in the pool for a while then the newly weds, came down from their room.

"Hi," he said. "Looks like it's pretty full today."

"Yeah, it sure is," David agreed.

"I'm Jerry Nelson, this is my wife Jenny. Mind if we join you?"

"Not at all," David replied. "I'm David Bennett, and this is Scott Campbell."

"Nice to meet you," I said, shaking his hand.

Jerry had a nice body. He was wearing the same briefs he had on the day before. The only hair he had on his body was a small trail that ran from the bottom of his navel into his briefs.

David and I enjoyed talking to the Nelsons, and eventually David and Jerry went to get us something to drink.

"He's cute," Jenny whispered as we watched them walk toward the soda machine.

"Yeah, he is," I agreed. "So's Jerry. You're a lucky girl."

"Yeah. But so are you," she said, giggling.

"Well, not really," I said. "We just met yesterday, and I haven't figured out if he's interested or not. Actually, I haven't figured out if he's gay or not either."

"Believe me," she said as the guys started back with two sodas each, "he is interested in you. I can tell by the way he smiles when he looks at you. He looks at you like Jerry looks at me."

"But how can I find out for sure?" I asked with a sigh.

"When the time is right, you'll know," she replied as they got almost in hearing range.

"I hope so," I said. I rose to take my soda from David.

"You hope what?" he asked, his eyes twinkling as he looked at me. Had they always twinkled, or was I just reading it in now that she said that?

"Oh, we were just talking about the flooding in the streets," I lied. "I was just saying I hope that it runs off tonight. I want to get to go home tomorrow." Then I felt bad about lying to him.

"Yeah, so do I," David agreed sitting down next to me on his towel. "I have an appointment in Spring Lake to install a computer tomorrow, and though Bruce can do it, I'm scheduled to, and was really looking forward to doing it."

"Hey," Jerry said getting up, "how about playing some water volley ball?"

"That sounds like fun," David agreed, "but we need a volley ball and a net, and there are others in the pool that may not be interested in playing."

"We just have to ask the folks here," Jerry replied. "The ball and net are over in the storage room, and I'll run ask the manager if we can use them." He then managed to round up about fifteen people who wanted to play.

Since there weren't enough people to make nine on each team, we decided to have three teams of five. The third team would play the winners of the first game.

David was captain of one team, Jerry the captain of the second, and a blond name Betty was the captain of the third team. Everyone that was playing gathered around the shallow end of the pool and the three captains picked their team. David picked me and Jerry picked Jenny to be on his team.

I had never played water volley ball before, but was thoroughly enjoying it when the ball headed toward me and a big guy named Craig jumped up to get it. I yelled, "I got it!" but he didn't stop. When he drew back to hit the ball, he socked me in the left eye with the back of his fist. Since I was going up to meet the ball, I met his hand, hard.

"Scott!" was all I heard David yell as I went under. When I came back to the surface, he was there pulling me up. He carried me out of the pool.

"Are you okay?" he asked worriedly as my eye began to throb.

"Yeah, it only hurts when I breath," I tried to laugh, but that made it hurt worse.

"I am so sorry," Craig kept repeating as he sat down beside me and patted my arm.

"It's okay," I said patting his leg. "Just relax."

"Here, Craig," David said pulling him to his feet. He handed him his towel, "Why don't you go get us some ice in this towel?"

"Okay," he said. "I'm so sorry." He ran off to the ice machine.

David was a blur as he leaned down and looked into my left eye, but I could still see the concern on his handsome face.

"I'm a doctor," Betty said making her way through the crowd. "Let me look at him."

David stayed right by my side while she looked at my eye.

"He'll be okay. He'll have a black eye, and it will be sore for a few days," she explained, "but he'll be fine. Just keep an ice pack on it," she added as Craig arrived with the towel full of ice.

David put it on my eye and I flinched. "Hold it there," he whispered to me. "You want to go to the room?"

"Yeah," I said and he helped me up.

After he made arrangements for the game to continue without us, he thanked Betty for both of us, and we went upstairs to the room.

"Oh that hurts," I said as I took the ice pack off and looked at my eye in the mirror. It was only red now, but I had visions of it being black and blue soon.

"I'm sure it does," David agreed putting his arm around me, he had my towel draped over his shoulder. "Come over here and lay down," he said leading me over to the bed.

He dried me off with the towel, then he sat me down on the edge of the bed. Reaching down and pulling my briefs off, he said, "Here, get out of these, they're wet."

He had pulled the covers back and pulled them up over me as he leaned me back against the pillow.

"Now, hold that there, and rest," he said raising my hand with the ice pack in it up to my eye. "I'll go get us something to drink. I'll be right back."

"Okay," I said. As he raised up and turned to go I grabbed his hand, pulling him back. "Thanks, David," I said.

He squeezed my hand and smiled, then turned to go. I watched him leave. Glancing at the clock as I lay back against the pillow, I put the ice pack over my eye and sighed. It was only one-thirty.

"Scott?" David's warm hand rubbed my right shoulder as he shook me.

I had fallen asleep. I woke up and turned over to look at him. "You need to keep this ice pack on your eye," he said softly, picking up the towel from where it had fallen on the bed. Luckily, Craig had tied it up so the ice didn't fall out.

"Sorry," I said sitting up and taking the towel from him. Obediently, I put it back on my eye as there was a knock at the door. David went over and opened it; it was Betty.

"I came to see how he was doing," she said as David stepped back to let her in.

"He's okay. He fell asleep and let go of the ice pack while I was gone just now, but I wasn't gone long enough to hurt it much."

"I have just what he needs then," she said and I noticed that she had a black medical bag with her. She took out an ice pack that had a strap around it, and took the towel from me. She had already filled the ice pack up with ice from the ice machine. She strapped the ice pack around my head. "There, how's that?" she asked, adjusting it over my eye.

"Better. Thanks, Betty," I replied.

"Good. I'm in two-thirty-eight if you need anything," she told David as she turned to go.

"Thanks a bunch, I appreciate it," David said handing her his card. "Bill me, okay?"

"Nonsense," she said pocketing his card. "But I'm thinking of getting a home computer, so I will call you."

After she had gone, he came back over to the bed and opened the soda can he had brought for me. "Here you go," he said handing me the cup he had poured some into.

"Thanks," I said taking it and taking a sip. I sat it down on the table on my side of the bed; the cover slipped down as I stretched, exposing my ass.

As I turned back to face David and pulled the cover up over me, he pulled his briefs off.

He crawled into bed next to me. "A nap sounds like a good idea," he said yawning and rolled over onto his right side with his back to me.

Two hours later I woke up and rolled over. David was gone. I got up and went to the bathroom. He wasn't there either so after taking a piss, I went over to the mirror and took off the ice pack. It needed more ice but I wasn't in the mood to go get any. I knew that David would be glad to. My eye wasn't hurting as bad, though it was still puffy. Although everything was still a blur, it was no longer red. It had turned black, and there was a greenish tinge developing on the outside of the bruise.

Since the ice pack was still cold, I figured I should go ahead and wear it until David got back at least. I went back to bed and laid back down. After finishing my soda, which had gone flat by then, I lay back down. I couldn't go back to sleep, I kept wondering where David went and when he would be back, and how long he'd been gone, and if he really was interested in me, as Jenny had said.

Bored, I got up and turned on the TV and flipped through channels. Leaving it on The Weather Channel, I got up and opened the curtain so I could look out.The water in the parking lot was touching the bottom of the cars but not moving. It was, however, rushing down the street. I couldn't tell where it was going but it looked like there was a lot more where that was coming from. Which meant we wouldn't be leaving the next day either, unless by some miracle all the remaining water ran off before morning.

It was about four-fifteen when David returned with a suitcase.

"Hi, how are you feeling?" he asked putting the suitcase on the floor beside the table. He was wearing his shirt, swim briefs and his boots, nothing else.

"Better, thanks," I replied.

I was still standing nude in front of the window. He walked over to me and took the ice pack off.

"It needs more ice," I said. "I woke up about forty-five minutes ago, but didn't feel like going down to the ice machine."

"Oh, sorry I took so long," he said turning my face to the window so he could see my eye better. "You're not as swollen. Betty said as soon as the swelling went down, you can leave it off. It should be okay now. Still sore?"

"A little," I replied.

"You'll be okay without this I think. I'll call Betty and ask her to come look at it again."

"Okay," I said as he took his boots off and went into the bathroom.

I put my robe on and stood looking in the mirror at my black eye.

"Scott? You okay?" David asked. I hadn't even heard him return.

"Yeah. I'm fine," I replied with a sigh. "I was just thinking about what Mother's going to say when she sees this."

"Yeah, it's a doozy alright," he agreed picking up the phone. He called Betty.

"She's on her way," David told me taking his briefs off. He put his suitcase on the table and opened it. He took out a pair of black shorts a black tee-shirt and put them on.

"Now that's better," he said with a grin as there was a knock on the door. David opened it and let Betty and her husband, Ron in.

Ron was an attractive, huge man. He was blond and blue eyed. He stood about six foot three inches and I can't guess weight very well on people, but I'd say at least two-hundred fifty pounds of all muscle. I hadn't realized until now that Betty was the same height as David's even six feet.

"Oh, that looks good," Betty said appreciatively looking at my eye. "You can leave the ice pack off now, it may still be tender for a few days, but it shouldn't swell anymore, and it should start clearing up by tomorrow or the next day."

"Good, I'm glad to hear that," I said thankfully. "Is there any way that it can be totally gone before we leave here?"

Betty laughed, "Don't worry, if that water doesn't go somewhere else, it will be. Unfortunately, it will probably be black at least a week or two."

"Well, if that's how long it's going to be there, then I'll face my parents. I don't really want to have to stay here a week or two," I replied with a sigh.

"I don't either," Betty said. "I have patients to get back to in Spring Lake. We've been on vacation this week, and my appointment calendar for Monday is already going to keep me at work well over twelve hours. If I can't get out of here by Sunday, it may be longer than that."

A few minutes after they had left, there was a knock on the door. David opened it to Jerry and Jenny. "Hi, come on in," David said stepping back.

"Thanks," Jenny said entering the room. "How are you feeling Scott?" she asked flinching as she looked at my eye.

"I'm okay. Betty just left and she said that I would live."

"That's good," Jerry said as we sat down at the table.

"We were wondering if you'd like to join us in our suite for dinner?" Jerry said. "We could go to the dinning room, but my tux is the only black tie outfit I have, and I spilled something on it at the reception. Since it's been too wet for the cleaners to come get it, it's still there."

"I don't have anything black tie to wear anyway," I admitted.

"Sure, we'd love to come over for dinner," David said. "What's a good time?"

"Oh, it's five now," Jerry said looking at his watch, "how about six?"

David looked at me and I nodded. "Sure, that sounds like a good time."

"Okay, good," Jerry said getting up. "We'll go so you can get dressed, Scott, and we'll see you in about an hour."

"Great," I said. "Thanks."

After the Nelsons left, I decided to take a shower since I still smelled like chlorine from the pool.

I finished and got dressed in a pair of jeans and a cotton, short sleeved shirt, while David took a shower. When he was done, he put on a pair of black jeans and a black cotton short sleeved shirt.

"I didn't tell you," he said as he buttoned up his fly, "the water wasn't moving in the parking lot, so I put on my boots and got a couple of trash bags and put them on over them and tied them around my thighs. Then I waded out to my van and got my suitcase."

"Ah, that explains how you got it," I said as he put on some cologne.

"Yeah. While I was out there, Mr. Peters from the insurance agency came out. They've been stranded over there since it started raining. I hadn't even thought about that when I got over here and got settled in with you, that they were still over there. I guess there are a lot of folks here in town that are stranded at work because they couldn't get home yesterday afternoon."

"Oh no, I didn't think about that either," I agreed. "Are they okay over there? I'm sure they're starving by now. Maybe we'd better order something for them and run it over there?"

"No, they have a little kitchen in the back. There are only four over there, Mr. and Mrs. Peters, Sherry, and Chris. They have two couches in the lobby, and one in Mr. Peters' office. So they are able to sleep comfortably. They have two restrooms, so, though they can't take a bath or showers, they can freshen up when they need to."

"That's good," I said with a sigh of relief.

We arrived at the Honeymoon suite promptly at six o'clock, and David's knock was answered by Jerry.

"Hi, guys, come on in," he said standing back to let us in. David let me go in first. Jerry closed the door behind us.

We sat and looked through the menu and chatted for a while. Jerry worked at a local car dealership and Jenny worked at a boutique.

"That's neat," I told Jenny. "My mother owns an Art and Crafts boutique in Spring Lake. She's had it as long as I can remember."

"Oh, that's nice," Jenny said. "I hope to be able to open my own boutique one of these days, too."

We finally ordered the dinner for four, and though Jerry ordered a bottle of champagne to go with it, I thought it would be a good idea to get a pitcher of iced tea, also.

"I don't drink," I explained.

"Why not?" Jenny asked.

"Well, for two reasons, really," I explained. "One, I can't stand the taste, and the other, if I do force it down, I go to sleep within half an hour."

"Well, we don't want you falling to sleep on us," Jenny said.

"Nope, sure don't. Jenny loves it when I drink," Jerry said, pulling her over against him, they were sitting on the couch, "because I get real horny."

David laughed, "Yeah, me too."

"Oh? Then we need to get two bottles," Jenny teased, winking at me.

David glanced at me as I scowled at her.

"May I borrow your bathroom?" I asked standing up.

"Sure," Jenny said trying not to laugh. She got up and led me into the bedroom.

"Don't do that," I whispered. "It's embarrassing. We haven't gotten that far yet, and I don't know if it's going to happen."

"Okay, I'm sorry," she said giggling. "It won't happen again, I promise. The bathroom's through there."

"Thanks," I said and went in and closed the door. I washed my hands then went back out to the setting room.

It took about forty minutes before room service arrived with dinner, including one bottle of champagne and one pitcher of iced tea.

Jerry poured us all a glass of champagne. "Now Scott," he said as he handed me a glass, "you don't have to drink it all, but I have a toast to make, so you can take one sip."

"Okay, but if I spit it out, don't take it personal."

When we all had our glasses, Jerry stood up and raised his. "Here's to new beginnings; a new wife, and I must say a lovely one, and new friends."

"I'll drink to that," David agreed. We all clicked our glasses and took a sip; which I managed to swallow without choking.

We enjoyed our dinner. Afterwards, we moved over to the sitting area again. I took a glass of tea and the others took a glass of champagne; Jerry carried the bottle.

We sat around chatting for about another hour. Altogether, David drank about three glasses of champagne. He drank his first one at dinner and he finished my glass. He had another glass after dinner.

It was getting close to nine when Jerry put his arm around Jenny and started kissing her on the neck. A quick glance down, revealed he had a hard on. I glanced over at David, who was sitting next to me on the couch. He had a boner, too. I reached over and squeezed his leg.

"I think we've overstayed our welcome," I whispered.

"Yeah," he grinned, "me too."

We stood up and Jenny pushed Jerry away.

"It's getting late," David said, "we'd better be going."

"Okay," Jerry said getting up. "Thanks for coming. We really enjoyed having you."

"Thank you," I said. "We had a real good time. Thanks again for dinner."

Jenny hugged us both and we made our way back to our room.

"That was fun," I said, taking my shoes off.

"Yeah, it was," David agreed, taking his shirt off.

David went into the bathroom so I changed into my nightshirt and stood looking out the window. I could see by the hotel's lights that the water had begun to flow out of the parking lot into the swift stream of the street. If it kept up all night, the water could be out of the parking lot completely by morning.

David's warm arms wrapped around me and he pulled me against his strong chest. "Now, what was that you and Jenny were talking about getting two bottles of champagne?" he whispered softly into my ear.

My whole body was trembling with excitement. He was actually holding me. I didn't want to lie to him again, but how could I tell him the truth?

"Oh nothing really," I said as he turned me around to face him. "Since Jerry said he gets horny when he drinks, she could enjoy him more if he had two bottles."

"Yeah, but I said it makes me horny too," he said raising my chin so he could look me in the face.

He lowered his head and kissed me gently on the lips. "I don't need anything to drink to get horny around you though," he said and kissed me again.

"Oh David," I whispered. "I could fall in love with you so easily."

"Bull shit," he said picking me up. "You fell in love with me the minute you laid eyes on me in the lobby yesterday." He carried me over to the bed and put me down. Laying down next to me, he added, "And you know what?"

"What?" I asked kissing him on the cheek.

"That's when I fell in love with you, too," he said with a grin.

We kissed for a while, then David got up and took off his pants and underwear, he had taken his shoes and socks off while he was in the bathroom. He had a raging hard on.

He lay back down next to me and ran his hand up under my night shirt. He pulled it over my head and took it off. "You won't be needing to sleep in that anymore," he said throwing it into the corner.

He rubbed my chest and leaned down and kissed me again. I wrapped my arms around him and rubbed his strong back, down to his nice butt, and squeezed, pulling him closer to me. He raised up and rolled over onto his back. I glanced at the clock as I kissed my way down his warm hairy chest; it was nine-fifteen.

I kissed the head of his hard rod, then ran my tongue down the back of it, to his hairy sack. I nuzzled my nose in his bush as I took one of his balls in my mouth. Pressing his hard rod against my cheek, I flinched from the pain in my now totally black eye, and had to stop.

"Don't hurt yourself, Babe," he said. "That does feel good, but I don't want you to hurt."

I didn't answer him. I licked my way back up the bottom of his nine incher and flicked my tongue over the ridge that separates the head from the shaft. I grinned as his eyes rolled back in his head and he moaned.

Since he was nine inches long, he was too big around for me to get more than head of it in my mouth without hurting my sore cheek. After I had licked him up and down a few times, driving him crazy by flicking my tongue over the ridge, he realized that I wasn't able to actually suck him, so he reached down and put his hand under my chin, pulling me up to kiss him on the lips.

"You do a great job, Babe," he whispered between kisses. "How would you like it up your ass?"

"I'd like that," I replied, kissing him again. "But I didn't bring any condoms, and the gift shop is closed now, if they even sell them."

He chuckled and got up and went into the dressing room. A moment later I heard the sack that he had brought my swim briefs and his other things, in, rattle. He returned with a fresh box that hadn't been opened. "This morning when I woke up with my arm around you, I knew I was going to have to have you," he said, pealing the plastic wrapper off the box and putting it on the nightstand. "And when you told me I had a nice smile, I wanted to make love to you so bad right then, but I didn't have any condoms. I was afraid that you might not either, so I rolled over and went back to sleep.

"I was actually relieved when you got up and went to take a shower when Sheila called," he continued, taking a condom out of the box. "I wouldn't have been able to handle laying in bed with you for another moment without pulling you into my arms and making out with you.

"So," he continued, putting the box on the nightstand beside the clock, "when you didn't have a razor I could borrow and I had to go to the gift shop anyway, I decided to buy you the briefs, and I used the excuse of wanting to borrow a pair of your pants to find out what size you wear. I knew that I could get condoms down there, too. I've seen them there before, but I haven't ever needed to get any."

I leaned over and kissed him on the lips. "I'm glad you did," I said, softly. "I just about died this morning when I woke up and you were pressed against me. I wanted you so much right then."

He pushed me down on my back and pressed his warm body against me, dropping the condom on the bed behind me. "I could have at least given you a blow job," I said, between kisses.

"I would have liked that," he admitted. He held me and we kissed for a few minutes before he raised up and I picked up the condom and tore it open. He grinned as I rolled it up over his hard member.

"Mm, that feels good," he said.

I rolled over onto my side, turning my back to him. "Where do you think you're going?" he asked, pulling me back to face him.

"I want you up inside me," I replied, stroking his condom covered cock.

"I'm going to lay on top of you," he replied. He spread my legs and spat on his fingers and pressed one of them up my rose bud.

I moaned as he shoved it in deeper. He spat on his fingers again and stuck two of them inside me. "How's that?" he asked.

"Mm, that feels great," I moaned.

He added another finger and moved the three of them around inside of me to loosen and relax my muscle. He raised up and got between my legs. Putting one hand under my hips he lifted me up a little. Taking his hard member in his other hand, he gently guided it into my rose bud.

I moaned as the head slipped in. He held real still for a moment so my sphincter could get used to the large intruder. When it was comfortable, I wiggled my hips against him and reached for him. He slowly pressed in a little further. Ever so gentle, he pulled out a little, then pressed in a little deeper.

No one had ever made love to me this way before. Most guys just went in to the hilt on the first shove. After several minutes had passed, he finally made it in all the way. I was so hot for him that I couldn't stand it. I reached up and pulled him down on top of me and kissed him passionately as he slowly pumped in and out of me.

No man had ever lain on top of me this way before. He had my thighs pushed up to my sides, and was holding them down with his hands on either side of me on the bed. His warm hairy chest felt good against my legs and chest, and I was able to put my arms around my thighs and run my hands over his strong back while we kissed. Everyone else always wanted to do me doggy style, and would kiss me on the cheek while they plowed into me. Sometimes, they would reach around in front of me and stroke my cock until we both came together. David wasn't touching me except where our bodies met, and it didn't bother me one bit that he wasn't playing with my cock. I just loved the feel of his body against mine, his hard rod inside me, and his warm, soft mustache pressing against my lips.

He was so gentle. He didn't rush in his love making. He was careful not to touch my bruised face. When I felt that he was starting to get close, he stopped pumping. I wiggled my hips against him, pushing him deeper into me, and he whispered, "Not yet, Babe. Be still."

After a few minutes, he started pumping again, but he never stopped kissing me. We made love. Even my last lover who once said he couldn't get enough of me, had never made love to me this way.

David stopped pumping for the third time. I had learned after the first time he stopped, not to move when he stopped. He wanted to make love to me. He wasn't doing this just to get off. I kissed him gently on the lips. But he couldn't hold back this time. His body trembled. I felt his hard organ expand inside me as he kissed me hard on the lips, and a muffled cry escaped from him against my mouth as he blasted his wad deep into the condom. His body shuddered again and I felt another blast as his eyes rolled back in their sockets. Gently, he pulled out then pressed back in again and more of his love juice squirted into the condom.

He gasped for air, then collapsed on top of me. "Shit, Scott, you're the best," he said.

I kissed him on the cheek. "So are you," I whispered.

He lay on top of me for a few minutes, then he raised up. Gently pulling out of me. He grinned as he looked down at my sweat soaked body, and my still throbbing organ.

I reached up and started to roll the condom off him. He flinched as I touched him. "Easy, Babe, it's tender."

"I imagine, after that workout," I replied. Gently, I rolled it off. I couldn't believe it. It was half full of his semen.

"Wow!" he gasped. "I've never blasted that much before."

I grinned up at him and tied the end of it. "Maybe I should keep this for a souvenir," I teased.

He reached down and took hold of my cock. "I'm sure that I can get you some more if you want it," he replied.

"Mm, I like that idea," I said, tossing the condom onto the floor beside the bed.

David scooted down in the bed and lay down between my legs. He gently kissed the tip of my cock and then swallowed it, taking it all the way in. His nose pressed into my blond bush. I was so hot that it only took a few moments of sucking for me to blast my load down his throat.

He raised up and lay down on top of me and kissed me gently. "I love you, Scott," he whispered.

"I love you, too, David," I replied, putting my arms around him. Glancing at the clock, I smiled. It was ten-forty. We had made love for almost an hour and a half.

The next morning I woke up laying on my left side facing the back wall. David was laying next to me with his arm around me and his body pressed against my back.

I rolled over and raised up to look at the clock; it was eight- thirty. I got up and went to the bathroom. On the way back to bed, I stopped by the window and looked out. The water was still running out of the parking lot. I hadn't realized how much water was in the parking lot, or maybe the parking lot was bigger than I had thought.

I went back to bed. David was laying on his back and the sheet had fallen off, exposing his morning hard on. I crawled back into bed and ran my hand over his warm hairy chest, and kissed him gently on the cheek. He opened his eyes and smiled at me as the phone rang. I raised up and kissed him on the lips again. "I love you, David," I said as the phone rang again.

"I love you, too," he said and kissed me again. He reached over and picked up the phone. "Hello?" he said.

He raised up, pushing me away, and turned and set on the edge of the bed with his back to me, "Hi Sheila," he said. "I haven't looked out yet this morning, so I don't know if we can leave or not."

I got up and went over to the window and looked out, then turned and looked at him shaking my head. He sighed and relayed the message to Sheila. I went to the bathroom and took a shower.

David had finished his phone call by the time I got out and was standing at the sink in the dressing room, shaving.

"Well, Bruce is going to have to do that job that I was supposed to do this morning, and he's really swamped. I really need to get out of here as soon as possible."

"Yeah," I agreed. "I had only planned on two weeks for vacation. If I don't get out of here, my two weeks are going to be up before I even get home. My parents took two weeks off too, so they could spend them with me. Mother can always take off when she wants to, since she owns the boutique, but Dad's a construction contractor, and he has to plan his vacations pretty far in advance."

"Oh, that's not good at all," David said drying his face. He leaned over and kissed me.

After David took a shower, we spent the remainder of the day down at the pool with the Nelsons, playing in the pool and having a good time.

While we were having lunch by the pool, Craig came over with a worried look on his face. "Oh Scott," he said, looking at my now black eye. "I am so sorry."

It hurt for me to smile, but I managed a weak one, and took his hand in mine. "Would you stop apologizing?" I asked. "It's okay. I'm going to live. But next time someone yell's 'I've got it', let them get it."

"I will, I promise," he replied.

"You know, Betty said you were really lucky," David said. "If he would have been a little bit further over, he could have broken your nose."

"Thanks a lot, David," Jenny chided. "That wasn't what Craig needed to hear."

"I didn't need to either," I admitted.

Craig thanked me for forgiving him and excused himself to go back to lunch with his girlfriend. We spent the remainder of the afternoon by the pool with the Nelsons. A few people got together and played a few games of water volleyball, and though the Nelson's joined in, David and I just watched.

By dinner time, we were pretty tired, so we said goodnight to the Nelsons at the hall door leading to the wing our room was in. When we got back to the room, I looked outside. The water in the parking lot was still flowing, but didn't look like it had gone down any.

I called my parents to let them know I was still stranded, but was doing fine. We still didn't know when we would be able to leave.

David ordered dinner for us, and turned on the TV to watch the six o'clock news. Though there were several reports of people trying to get out in the flood and putting sand bags out to redirect the flowing water and some people getting swept away there was still no estimate given of when the people of Rapid Springs would be free to get their lives on the way back to normal.

"I think I'll go take a shower," I said with a sigh. I got up and kissed David on the forehead.

"Okay. I want to take one before dinner, too," he said.

I reached down and rubbed his leg, we both still had on our swim briefs. "You can take one with me if you want," I said kissing him on the lips.

"That'd be nice," he replied, stretching, "but room service would probably show up while we were in there and we wouldn't hear him knock on the door."

"Yeah," I reluctantly agreed.

David was right, room service arrived a few minutes after I got in the shower. He came in to let me know dinner was there. He decided to take a shower after dinner instead of before.

After we ate, David took his shower and I sat and channel surfed. There was nothing on TV worth watching. I switched it off just as the phone rang. "This is Scott," I said, picking up the extension on the desk beside the TV. I shook my head as I looked in the large mirror at my face.

"Hey, Scott," a man's deep voice boomed through the ear piece. "This is Bruce, can I speak to David? I gotta problem here."

"He's in the shower right now, Bruce," I explained. "Can I have him call you back, or do you want to hold while I get him?"

"What's he doing in the shower at this hour?" he asked.

"We spent the day in the pool, there's not much else to do here, and he's getting the chlorine off."

"Oh, that makes sense. Well, shit, I guess you'd better get him, this is kind of important.

"Tell him I'm at Barstow's," he continued, "and I'm having a hell of a time getting this thing to work. I've been here all day."

"Okay, I'll get him," I said, and lay the phone down on the desk.

"David?" I said peering around the shower curtain. He was just rinsing the shampoo out of his hair.

"Hi," he smiled at me. "Did you come to wash my back, or get some of this?" he asked stroking his cock.

"Mm, I like the idea of getting some of that," I replied with a painful smile. "Unfortunately, neither. Bruce is on the phone and says it's an emergency."

"Oh, shit," he said with an aggravated sigh and turned off the water.

"Will you hand me a..." he began as I handed him a clean towel. "Thanks," he said kissing me on the good cheek.

"He said that he's been doing your job all day," I informed him as he took the towel.

"Oh boy," he said with a sigh. Still dripping he rushed past me into the bedroom. I turned off the light and followed him.

"Hey Bro, what's up?" David was saying into the phone. "I'm dripping all over the place here, so this had better be important . . . Yeah, that's what Scott said. What's wrong?"

He managed to dry himself off pretty good as he talked to Bruce, then he pulled the chair out and sat down and held the towel in his lap. I pulled the curtain back and watched the water rush out of the parking lot he talked tech-no-babble.

"Okay, if that doesn't work," he said after a while, "call me back. Oh, and if you talk to Mom and Dad, let them know I'm still stranded here, and they can call if they want to. I've tried to call them a few times, but they weren't home . . . Okay, thanks. Bye, Bro," he said and hung up.

"Thanks for getting me," he said and wrapped the towel around his waist and moved over to the table.

"You're welcome," I replied with a small smile. "Not much on TV to watch," I added handing him the remote as I sat down.

"Well, there are some adult movies we could buy," he said getting up and crossing over to the TV. He picked up the movie guide and brought it back to the table with him. Moving the chair around next to me, he sat back down.

"Now, let's see what looks good," he said turning to the days date.

He flipped through the pages and sighed. "Shit, nothing starts till ten," he said.

"Not only that, they'll probably be straight, too," I said rubbing his arm.

"Yeah, probably," he agreed.

I leaned over close to his ear. "You know what?" I whispered running my hand up underneath his towel.

"What?" he asked as I touched his cock.

"We don't need any adult movies, we can make our own."

"Mm, that's a good idea," he said kissing me on the lips.

Even though it was only seven-thirty, we went to bed.

Thursday morning I was awakened by the ringing of the phone. I was still laying on David's chest so I raised up and picked up the phone. The clock read seven-twenty.

"This is Scott," I said sleepily as David opened his eyes and rubbed my back.

"Hi Scott, this is Mrs. Bennett," the woman said, "I'm sorry to wake you. Is David up yet?"

"Yeah, just a sec," I said and mouthed, "it's your mother."

"Thanks," he said and took the phone, but he pulled me back down against his chest. "Hi Mom," he said. "How's it going? . . . Oh they are? . . . That's good. We'll check into it. . . Yeah, we're doing okay. . . No, Mother, we just met the other day. Luckily for me or I'd be out in the street. The hotel was full when I came in to get a room. . . Yeah, it was. I think you'll like him though, his parents live in Spring Lake, too. He's on his way to visit them, so we're going to spend some time together. I'm sure you'll get a chance to meet him."

He rubbed my arm as his mother obviously talked his ear off about something, and he just said, "Mm-Hum," once in a while. He concluded his phone call with, "Okay I'll call you when I get home then," and he hung up with a sigh.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Yeah. Mom said she saw on the news this morning that people in trucks, pickups, and vans were driving around here. Since I have a van, I guess I should call around and see if it's safe enough to make it out of town."

"Well, I think it would be a good idea to try," I agreed. "But I sure don't want to have to stay here without you," I said and raised up and kissed him on the lips.

"You wouldn't have to," he said. "I'd take you with me. I can bring you back when the flood's over, and you are ready to go home. Mr. Martin, the manager, won't mind you leaving your car here."

I held him closer, "I sure have enjoyed these last few days," I said softly, "I'd really like to just stay here with you."

"Yeah, me too," he agreed and kissed me on the top of my head, "but Bruce really needs me to get back to work."

"I know," I said kissed him again.

We made love for about an hour, then we got up and he called the police station to check on the ability to get out of town on the highway, while I took a shower.

"Well, we're free to go if we want to," he said when I joined him in the bedroom again.

"Oh?"

"Yeah, people are driving all over the place. No one's had any problems, but don't try it anything smaller than a full sized van; mini- vans aren't big enough. Do you want to wait till after lunch or go on now?"

"I'd like to have lunch with the Nelson's if you don't mind," I said, "but it's totally up to you."

"Okay, we can do that."

I called them to invite them for lunch in our room while he took a shower.

"We haven't had breakfast yet," Jenny said. "Why don't we have that instead? Jerry's dad has a pickup. He's going to see if he can come get us before noon. He's already driven around their neighborhood and thinks he can get here."

"If he can't, David's got a van and we're going to try to get out of here. We might be able to drop you off somewhere but I'll have to ask him," I said.

"Thanks, we appreciate that," Jenny said. "Did you and he ever stop pussy-footing around and get down to a serious relationship?"

"Yeah, because of your comment about drinking," I replied.

"Congratulations," she replied as David turned the water off in the shower.

"Okay, David's just getting out of the shower now," I said, changing the subject, "do you want to come over about nine-thirty?" I asked.

"Well," she said, thoughtfully, "since we are expecting Mr. Nelson, why don't you come over here? Since we have the dining area, we have more room here than you do, too."

"Okay, but I wanted to buy your breakfast since you bought our dinner the other night."

"Thanks, we appreciate that," Jenny said, "but we can have them charge it to your room and deliver it here. Just as long as you sign for it, they won't fuss."

"Okay, we'll see you in about fifteen minutes then," I said.

"Great," she replied as David came out of the dressing room, buttoning up his shirt.

I hung up and he said, "What's the scoop?"

"We're going to their room for breakfast in fifteen minutes," I replied, putting a few things I wouldn't need in my suitcase. "Since his father is coming to get them, and they have more room over there, she thought it would be best for us to eat over there. But I am going to pay for our breakfast," I said, sternly.

He grinned and put his arm around my waist. "Well, I'll pay for ours, but you can pay for theirs, if you want to."

"No, I'll pay for yours, mine and theirs," I insisted.

"I'm not going to argue with you, Scott," he said, softly and pressed his warm lips against mine, pulling me against his hard body.

I melted into his arms and returned the kiss. A moment later he pulled me closer and kissed me on the cheek. "What time did you tell them we'd be there?" he asked softly.

"Mm, nine-thirty," I replied, burying my face in his neck.

"Too bad," he replied, disappointedly. Stepping out of my arms, he sat down at the table and put his socks on.

"Are you ready to go?" he asked, adjusting his pants legs over his boots.

"Yes, I'm all packed. I do want to come back and brush my teeth before we leave, though," I admitted.

"Good idea," he replied, picking up the phone. He called the front desk and told them we would be in the Nelson's suite if we got a call.

We walked in silence the Nelson's suite. As he knocked on the door, I looked at him and wondered if I would ever see him again after we left. I knew that his brother needed him at work, but even though he had promised to bring me back to get my car and spend time with me during the time I was at my parents, a foreboding feeling swept over me and I wondered if I really would ever see him again.

Jenny managed to keep the conversation going while we had breakfast, but we all seemed to feel the tension in the air.

"It sure has been nice meeting you," David said, pushing his empty plate back so he could rest his arm on the table and sip his coffee. "I can't imagine how dreary the last three days would have been without you and Scott around. Especially, Scott. I would have had to sleep in the van if it hadn't been for him."

"I'm glad I could be there for you," I replied, with a smile.

"How's your face feeling?" Jerry asked. "It's still pretty black."

"It only hurts when I laugh or smile, now," I admitted. "At first it only hurt when I breathed, so it's better."

"I'm glad it's getting better," Jenny said as the phone rang.

"That might be Dad," Jerry said, getting up.

"Hello?" he answered it. "Yes, he is, just a sec. David, it's your brother."

"Thanks. I hope you don't mind I told the desk we'd be here," he said, taking the phone. Jerry shook his head and sat back down.

"Hey Bro, what's up?" David asked.

"When do you have to be back to work?" I asked.

"Not till Monday," Jerry replied. "We were supposed to stay here until Saturday, but since it's flooded, I need to check on the house and help Mom and Dad get their place cleaned up some, and Jenny's parent's place, too."

"I haven't called my parents since yesterday afternoon," I said. "I didn't tell them about my face. But Spring Lake is okay. They didn't have any flooding."

"That's good," Jenny said as David hung up the phone.

"I'm sorry to eat and run," David said, picking up his cup of coffee. "That was Bruce; he's having another problem with that system he installed yesterday that I was supposed to. If we can get out of here, we need to. Are you ready, Scott?"

"Yes, I am," I replied, standing.

We all hugged each other and I gave Jenny my business card and my parent's phone number. She gave me their phone number and we hurried down the hallway to our room.

"I'm glad we packed first," I said as David rushed into the bathroom.

"So am I," he replied.

He used the bathroom, brushed his teeth and picked up his suitcase. "I'll go get the van and pull it up to the front door," he offered. "I'll meet you at the desk in a few minutes."

"Okay," I said.

He left and I brushed my teeth, finished packing the last few things. I called my parents to let them know I was getting a ride to town.

As I dashed down the stairs, fear washed over me as I realized that he could have taken off without me, leaving me to pay for all the meals, the supplies he had purchased in the gift shop, including my swim briefs, and the few phone calls he had made.

I could see a white van sitting in front of the front door when I opened the back door to the lobby. David was standing in front of the desk. "Thanks, Bob," I heard him say as he put something in his wallet and returned it to his hip pocket.

Seeing me, his face lit up as he smiled and took my suitcase from me. "Just in time," he said. "Let's get outta here."

"But I need to check out," I protested, as he took my arm and guided me toward the front door.

"Already taken care of," he replied, handing me my credit card slip. "And I got approval for you to leave your car here till next week when I bring you back."

He opened the side door and put my suitcase in the back with his. Closing the door, his blue eyes sparkled as he added, "And we've got a reservation for next Saturday, for the same room. When I bring you back, we'll spend the night, since we might not get to see each other for a while after you go back home."

I couldn't believe my ears. I had been afraid I'd never see him again after we got to Spring Lake, and here he was making plans to keep the promise of bringing me back, that he had made.

I climbed into the passengers seat, fastened my seat belt and looked at my credit card slip to see what the amount was. "You weren't supposed to pay for everything," I protested as he climbed into the van. The slip had been voided.

He pulled up a little so that no one in the office could see us, and leaned over and kissed me on the lips. "I love you, Scott," he said. "That's just my way of thanking you for keeping me from having to sleep in this van for the last three nights.

"And besides," he added with a mischievous grin, "I can write it off as a business expense. Can you?"

"Well, no," I admitted.

"Good, then it's settled," he replied and kissed me again.

"Thank you, I appreciate it," I said.

"Thank you," he replied, tenderly. "If I would have not been so lucky as to have checked out Monday morning, not only would you have had to spend the last three days and nights in your car, I wouldn't have met the man I want to spend the rest of my life with."

Wow! How was I to answer that? Here I was a few minutes before, afraid that I would never see him again after we got to Spring Lake, or that he'd run off and stiff me with the bill for the last three days. Yet, here we were, sitting in his van ready to head for Spring Lake and he was making plans to spend the rest of his life with me.

He frowned at my surprised expression that I failed to hide. "Wouldn't you like for me to spend the rest of my life with you?" he asked.

"Of course," I replied, placing my hand on his face. "But I just wasn't ready for you to say that. I mean, we did just meet four days ago, and I do live a hundred miles away from you."

"Oh, well, I was hoping we could work something out to solve that problem," he said, turning away and putting the van in gear.

"Oh? Like what?" I asked.

"Well, Bruce and I are partners in the computer store," he said, pulling forward into the rushing water, "so I was thinking I might sell him my half and open up a store in Springville. Or you might be able to get a customer base in Spring Lake."

I reached over and put my hand on his arm. He looked at it, then up at me. "I love you," I said. "I think we need to discuss this when we get to Spring Lake. If we try to talk now, you might not pay enough attention to the road, or river, I should say, and something might go wrong. Concentrate on driving, David. We'll talk about this when we get to Spring Lake. I do want to spend the rest of my life with you, too, but I don't want our lives to end today because of this flood."

The worry on David's handsome face, melted into a warm smile. "I agree," he said and leaned over to kiss me again.

"Okay, we're off," he said, sitting up and looking down the running river that was the road. "I hope we don't run over anything we can't see."

"So do I," I replied.

David eased the van out into the street. The running water was flowing southward; we were headed north. I tried to relax as we headed into the rushing river. The tires contacted the pavement below and we made our way slowly forward.

I stole a glance at David and his face was tense. The van held to the road, but it was tough going. Like peddling into the wind on a bicycle, we made our way toward the edge of town.

Half an hour later, the water began to shallow, and we noticed that the van gained speed, even though David didn't put any more pressure on the foot feed. He breathed an audible sigh of relief, and we both sat back and relaxed as we finally got out of the water.

"Now, we can get somewhere," he said.

When we reached Spring Lake, I gave him my parents address, and he headed for the house.

"Do you think they'll be here?" he asked, turning into the circular drive way.

"They should be," I replied. "I called them right before we left."

I noticed a look of disappointment cross his face as he opened the door and jumped out. I opened my door and as I stepped out. He took me in his arms and glanced around. My parent's house sat on the corner a little back from the street. He had parked where the passengers side of the van was closest to the house. The van was blocking us from the view of the Howard's house across the street and a row of ever green trees that framed our inside property line, blocked the view from the Carlson's place. Except for anyone in the house who might be watching, we were blocked from anyone's prying eyes.

He held me for a moment then kissed me on the lips. "I love you, Scott," he said, softly. "Do you think we might be able to get together tomorrow night? You could come spend the night at my place. I'll have to work Saturday, but I'll bring you back before eight."

"I'm sure I can," I replied as the front door opened and Dad stepped out onto the front porch.

I smiled at Dad, and kissed David again. "I love you, David," I said. "Come on, I want you to meet my folks."

David opened the side door of the van and got my suitcase out, while I met Dad at the bottom step of the porch. "Hi Dad," I said, hugging him.

"Glad you finally got here, Scott," he said, and frowned as he looked at my face.

"What happened to you?" he asked, worriedly.

"We were playing water volley ball the other day, and a team mate didn't let me get it when I said I got it, and his fist hit my face when we both jumped for the ball. It's okay, still sore though."

I turned to face David, "Dad, I want you to meet David Bennett."

David's smile fell when he saw my father. "Brady," he said, trying to recompose himself. "I didn't realize your last name was Campbell."

Dad shook his hand, and said, "Yeah, I guess we never needed last names, and Scott didn't mention what you did, just said that you were staying with him."

"You know each other?" I asked.

"Yeah. My boss, Mr. Peterson, bought our computer system from David a couple of years ago," Dad replied. "How are you doing?"

"Fine," he replied, nervously. He knew that Dad had seen us kissing. "Better now that I'm back in town. I must admit, Brady, if it hadn't been for Scott here, I would have been sleeping in this van the last three nights."

Dad smiled at me. "I'm glad he could be there for you," he said. "You have time to come in for a while? Sara will want to thank you for bringing Scott home. She had to run to the boutique for a minute."

"I'd love to," he admitted, "but Bruce really needs me to get back, so I'd better get."

He glanced at me. I smiled at him and pulled him into my arms. "Why don't you come over for dinner tomorrow night about six?" I asked. "Then I can go home with you, like we had planned."

David looked nervously at Dad. "We'd love to have you," Dad said, sensing his reluctance to talk in front of him. "And if you've made plans for him to spend the night at your place, that's okay, too. Brad, my other son, and his wife and kids will be over around eleven for lunch on Saturday. We'd love for you to come, too. But please have Scott home by then since they're coming to see him."

"Oh, okay. I should be able to get away from work long enough for lunch," David said.

I kissed him on the lips and he smiled at me. "I can't wait till tomorrow night," he said softly. "We'll talk about you know what, then."

"Okay," I agreed. I kissed him again, "I love you," I said.

"I love you, too." Turning to my father, he added, "Brady, I'll see you tomorrow evening about six."

"Great, thanks again for bringing Scott home."

Dad put is arm around me and we watched David get into the van and drive off.

"So he's the new sparkle in your eye, huh?" Dad asked as he went into the house.

"Yes," I replied.

"Good, maybe he can talk you into moving back to Spring Lake," he said, sitting down at the kitchen counter as I got a glass out of the cabinet.

Rolling my eyes upward, I asked, "Would you like a soda?"

"What I would like is for you to move back to Spring Lake," he replied, softly. It was the beginning of the same old argument except this time I hadn't been home more than ten minutes. Usually it didn't come up until I was getting ready to leave.

I had moved to Springville right out of high school because I wanted to take the free lance journalism class they had at Springville College. It wasn't available at Spring Lake College, and my English teacher had recommended I take it. While at SLC I had a roommate that I got very attached to. After graduation, he was offered a job in another state and moved away. He said that he felt we were too young to settle down. I had gotten several vibes from him the last semester we were together that he might be more interested in girls than he let on while we were in the sixty-nine position. By the time he was ready to leave, I was so mad at him because of his attitude, that I never experienced any hurt or remorse that he was gone. After that, Mom and Dad and my older brother Bradley, tried to get me to come home every time I visited or talked to them on the phone. I loved them dearly, but I had my own life in Springville, and several gay friends. Even though I didn't have anyone special, I had developed a very large clientele with my home typing business, and stayed pretty busy.

I sighed and filled up the glass with crushed ice from the ice maker on the door of the refrigerator, and filled it up with Dr. Pepper from a can I got out of the refrigerator. Grabbing a napkin from the napkin ring on the bar, I sat the glass down on the bar and stepped around to where Dad was. I put my arms around him and held him for a moment. "I love you, Dad," I said. "Let's not get on this subject so soon, okay? David and I are going to talk about it tomorrow night, but don't get your hopes up too high. We did just meet Monday and that's awful soon to be giving up everything we've worked so hard for the last several years, just so we can be together.

"Who knows," I added, as he squeezed me tighter, "he might not like living with me. I'm a neat freak, and he might not be."

"That's true," Dad replied with a deep chuckle.

Mother called later to see if I had gotten home yet. Martha, the lady who was supposed to close the shop that day, had had an emergency at home, so Mom had to go in and stay until closing. I had dinner ready when she got home about six-thirty.

Later that evening, I was just getting out of the shower when Dad stuck his head in the bathroom door. "David's on the phone," he said.

"Thanks," I replied. I wrapped my towel around my waist and stepped into the bedroom that I used to share with Brad. "Hi, David," I said, picking up the extension.

"Hi Babe," he replied. His deep voice sent a tingle through my entire body. I realized then how much I had missed him since he had left earlier that day. "What are you doing?" he asked.

"Just got out of the shower," I replied as we heard Dad hang up the extension phone in the living room.

"Mm, too bad I wasn't there to wash your back," he said. It was funny he should say that, we had never taken a shower together.

"I wish you were here, too," I admitted.

"Have you ever done it with anyone in your parent's house?" he asked.

"When we were in our teens, my brother and I would beat off together, but that was all. We never touched each other," I replied. I couldn't believe I was telling David this. I had never told any of my former lovers what Brad and I had done growing up.

"Your Dad seems pretty okay with you being gay. Was that just an act because I was there and he didn't want to make a scene, or is he really okay with it?"

"No, Mom and Dad are cool with my sexuality."

"That's good," David said. "My parents haven't gotten used to the idea yet. I didn't get around to telling them until this past Christmas. I wanted to bring my lover home, but decided it would be best to tell them first. So I broke the news to them. Bruce is kind of a red neck, but you'll like him. He's really a sweetheart underneath all that brawn, and you'll grow on him, too."

"So what happened with your parents and your lover?" I asked, timidly. I was afraid he was going to tell me that he and his lover were still together.

"Luckily, Jason and I weren't living together. We wound up spending the holidays at his parent's place in Rapid Springs. After we got back, we just kind of went our separate ways. I don't think his parents really liked me and I didn't care much for them either. He wasn't into computers and we didn't have much in common. I had picked him up at a club one night and he just kind of stuck around. He was okay in bed but he kept wanting to top me. I have a sign on my ass that says exit only."

I giggled at that. Since I was a bottom, I hadn't been back there to see if there really were a sign. "Since then, I haven't found anyone I've been interested in but you. Mom and Dad act kind of cold when I'm around, even though we don't talk about it."

"Sorry to hear that - the part about your parents."

"Yeah, it's pretty hard to hang around them. I'm pretty sure that Mom wouldn't have called this morning if Bruce hadn't told her that I was staying in the room with a guy. He's stayed in that room before and knew it was a single. Bruce thinks I just need some pussy, but I tried that a couple of times and it's not for me."

"So you have been with guys before Jason?" I asked, in more of a statement tone.

"Oh yea, I boinked every guy I could get to drop his pants all through high school and college. I'm not a slut, Scott, but I'm no virgin either."

"I didn't think so," I said. "You're the best one I've ever had," I added, softly.

"Dammit Scott," he said under his breath. "I wish I could come get you. I don't want to sleep alone tonight."

I glanced at the clock. It was nine-forty-eight. "I could get dressed and come over," I offered. "Mom would let me borrow her car. For that matter, Dad might even take me. He wants me to move back here and thinks that you might be what it will take to make me."

"Oh he does? I always did like your dad."

"You want me to ask him? You can drop me off in the morning on your way to work. Mom's going to have to work at the shop tomorrow because Martha's son's fell out of a tree and broke his arm, he's got to spend the night in the hospital. I've got some friends to go see, so I'll be borrowing her car anyway."

"Well, I'd love for you to come over," he said, "but I have to be at the store at seven. I told a client I'd meet him there because we've been putting him off all week since I wasn't here. So I guess I'd better pass. I might not get any sleep without you here, Sweetheart, but if you were here, not only would I not get any sleep, but I wouldn't get any rest either. I'd be exhausted by morning."

I smiled thinking about the undertoned suggestion he was making. I wanted so much to rush over to his house and let him make love to me all night, but his business was more important than a night of mad passion. "Okay," I reluctantly agreed. "I understand. I love you, David. I'll have dinner ready about six-thirty. I hope you can make it."

"Wild horses and dead CPUs couldn't keep me away," he said with a chuckle. "I love you, too, Scott."

I held the phone in my hands in my lap for a moment and sighed as the dial tone filled the room and went to error signal. I put the phone on the hook and put my robe on.

Dad was watching a movie that was almost over, when I walked into the living room. Mother was taking a shower in their bathroom.

"I talked to Brad while you were in the shower," Dad said when the movie ended and he had turned off the TV. "He and Karen were thinking about coming over for dinner tomorrow night, but since Mom's got to work, he suggested that we all go out to eat or Karen could make dinner over there."

"Did you tell him about David?" I asked, sitting down next to him on the couch.

"Yeah. He said it would be okay for him to join us. Turns out that he went to college with him. They had Computer Science together."

"So I guess everyone in town knows him but me," I said, getting up.

"No," Dad, replied. He jumped up and caught me as I started toward the hall. "He never met David or talked to him, just knew who he was when he saw him."

I was thankful that he didn't say that if I had stayed in town and gone to college here, I might have met him, too.

"I'd prefer to have dinner here," I said as Dad hugged me. "I know it would work better for Karen to have us over there, that way she could send the kids to play in their back yard after dinner, but I was kind of looking forward to making dinner for David."

"Well you are the guest of honor this weekend, so what ever you prefer."

"Thanks, Dad," I said.

The following evening I took the roast out of the oven and sat it on top of the stove as Karen asked, "You did tell him six-thirty, didn't you Scott?"

"Yes Karen," I replied, glancing at the clock on the stove for the tenth time in five minutes.

"Then where is he?" she asked, worriedly.

"He's still got two minutes," I replied, grasping at straws.

"Surely he won't walk in the last minute," Karen said as Mom came into the kitchen. "He should have at least called by now."

"Everything is on the table except the roast," Mom said. "And the kids are getting restless."

I glanced out the window at the circular drive. Brad's two tone, brown and tan Suburban sat there, but that was all. David wasn't going to make it to dinner. I hadn't talked to him all day, and he didn't even have the decency to call to tell me he wasn't coming.

Karen picked up the roast off the top of the stove where I had sat it and carried it into the dining room.

I had talked Karen into letting me make dinner at my parent's house for David. Now I wasn't hungry and since David wasn't there, I just wanted to be alone. But, I was the guest of honor - as it were, since I hadn't been there since Christmas, so I couldn't just go to my room and mope.

I sat down at my place and stared blankly at my plate. Craig, three years old and the spitting image of my brother; black hair, blue eyes and the cutest dimples you've ever seen when he grinned, turned his milk over and Karen rushed into the kitchen for a towel. I glanced up at Brad and our eyes met. He still had those dimples, too. He grinned at me, sending a warm feeling rushing through my body. It was times like this that I wished he wasn't my brother and I could lean across the table and kiss him on the lips. At thirty-two, he was still a hunk. He had a nice hairy chest, but he didn't care for wearing a mustache or beard, and Karen didn't mind since she didn't care for facial hair. I hadn't beat off with him since he moved out to go to college, but I still enjoyed hugging him every chance I got. He didn't seem to mind hugging me either. Unfortunately, I had never kissed him on the lips, he was, after all, my brother.

Karen had straight black hair that she wore just below her shoulders. She had it clipped up in the back that night. She usually always wore it that way, so it would stay out of her pretty face. Her black eyes were always warm, and she usually wore a smile. Even now as she rushed to clean up the mess Craig had made, she smiled and shook her head at him. "One of these days, I'm going to make you clean this up, yourself" she said lovingly. He didn't say anything, just grinned at her with those cute little dimples.

"I'll get him some more milk," Brad offered, getting up.

I looked back down at my plate and sighed. It was going to be a long evening, I could tell. I took a sip of iced tea and then closed my eyes as I waited for Brad to return so we could start eating. A warm mustache brushed my cheek and I jumped.

"Sorry I'm late, Babe," David said as I looked up at him. "I wanted to stop by and get these," he said, handing me a bouquet of red roses. "There was a wreck on the freeway. I was in my car and didn't have my mobil phone with me. It's in the van, so I couldn't call. Forgive me?" he asked, his blue eyes pleading with me.

I melted under his spell. I leaned forward and kissed him; he had sat down in the chair next to me. "Thank you," I said. "Thank you for coming and thank you for the roses, but you didn't have to bring them."

"I know, but I wanted to," he said and kissed me again.

Dad cleared his throat and we broke the kiss and looked around the table. Everyone was seated, watching us. "I'll put these in water," I said, turning a deep shade of red, almost the color of the roses. "You go ahead and start without me."

I returned from the kitchen with the flowers in a vase that Mother kept in the top of a cabinet and sat them in the middle of the table.

"Weren't you in CS with me, Brad?" David was asking.

"Yeah. You sat a couple of seats in front of me. Sylvia Cadle - I think was her name - sat in between us. We sat alphabetically in that class."

"That's right," David agreed.

The remainder of dinner went by smoothly and my family warmed up to him quickly. He was especially a hit with Tina, my brother's fourteen month old daughter. Though she wasn't talking yet, she would stare at him and when he smiled at her, she would grin and try to hand him her spoon, which was usually full of something, and it would spill onto the high chair or the floor. We were thankful we didn't have carpeting in the dining room, when she and Craig were there.

After dinner, David volunteered to wash the dishes while I dried them, since he didn't know where they went. The rest of my family retired to the living room, leaving us alone in the kitchen.

"That was a great dinner, Scott," David said and bent down to kiss me. "Best I've had in a long time."

"Thank you," I replied and returned his kiss. "I was afraid that you weren't going to make it," I admitted.

"Sorry about that," he said, putting his arms around me. "I will start carrying the mobil with me when I am in my car, that way I can call you if I need to, or just want to."

"Thanks," I said. "And thanks again for the flowers."

"I'm glad you like them," he said.

After we finished the dishes, he dried his hands and I put up the dish towel. "Do you think it's too early for us to make a run for my place?" he asked, wrapping his arms around me.

I looked at the clock on the stove; it was almost eight. "Brad and Karen will be leaving shortly. They try to get the kids in bed by nine," I explained. "I don't think it will hurt to go now. You will be able to come over for lunch tomorrow, won't you?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'll be here. Hopefully not late, but I will be here."

Brad and Craig were picking up the kid's toys when we entered the living room. They had their own toy box at my parent's house, so Brad and Karen didn't have to lug all their toys over when they came to visit. Tina had crawled up in Dad's lap and had fallen asleep.

"I guess we'd better be going," Karen said, taking Tina from Dad.

"Will you be able to come over tomorrow for the cook out, David?" she asked. "We'll eat about twelve-thirty."

"Yes, I hope I'm not late, but I will be here. Do I need to bring anything?"

"Just a hearty appetite," Brad replied. "When Dad starts bar-b- queuing, there's usually enough to feed the whole neighborhood and we usually wind up eating on it for the rest of the week."

David and I followed them out to the Suburban. Karen put Tina in her car seat and Brad put Craig in his. Closing the door, Brad turned to me. "That was a great dinner, Scott," he said, putting his arms around me. "We'll see you tomorrow, okay?"

"Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it," I replied as he squeezed me tighter. "I'll see you tomorrow. You be careful going home."

"I love you, Scott," he whispered in my ear.

I melted against him. "I love you, too, Brad," I replied and kissed him on the cheek.

He pulled away from me and turned to David. "It was nice seeing you again, David," he said shaking his hand. "We enjoyed having you here tonight."

"Good seeing you, too," David replied. "I enjoyed it, too."

I saw a flicker of fire in Brad's blue eyes as he added so softly that David and I could hardly hear him, "You'd better not hurt him."

David smiled and looked at me, "I won't, don't worry."

"See you tomorrow," Brad said, getting into the Suburban.

I had packed a few things in Mother's over night bag and it was waiting at the door of my room. I rushed in to get it, then we said good night to Mom and Dad. David promised to have me home by seven- forty-five the next morning and we jumped into his maroon, Buick Le Sabre and headed for his house.

"I had forgotten how hot your brother is," David admitted, as he took the on ramp to get on the freeway.

"Yeah, he is," I agreed. "Did you ever try anything with him when you were in class together?" I asked, putting my hand on David's leg.

"No. He was hanging around Lisa back then. I don't know if you knew her or not, but they stuck together pretty tight before and after class. They couldn't sit close together because her last name started with an M, but they were together right before class started and right after it was out. Just like a magnet. That's why I never spoke to him."

"No. I was in Springville by then and never met anyone named Lisa," I admitted. "I don't remember him talking about her either, but we've never really talked about our lovers to each other."

He pulled into his driveway and pressed the button and waited for the garage door to open. "You know, Scott," he said softly, watching the door go up, "you're very lucky to have a brother who will look out for you like he does. Most of the guys I know who are gay, their older brother's could care less if they got hurt, or got the snot beat out of them. He really does love you."

He parked the car in the garage and I unfastened my seat belt and leaned over as he unbuckled his seat belt and opened the door. I kissed him on the cheek and placed my hand in his lap. "I love him, too. But what I'd really like to know is, can I suck your dick?"

He chuckled, put his arm around me, and kissed me on the lips. "Cum on, let's get in the house and I'll answer that as soon as I can get out of these pants."

Grinning at him, I undid his belt and unbuttoned his pants. "I can get you out of them right here," I said.

He returned my grin. "I bet you could," he replied. Before I could stop him, he jumped out of the car, and walked around and opened the door for me. I got out and kissed him. He put his arms around me and the door started down. I hadn't seen him press any buttons but mine, so I was surprised by it.

He laughed and led me toward the kitchen door. "The button is right here," he said, gesturing to the button beside the door. "However, there is a one minute delay button on the remote and if you press it, before closing the door, then you have time to get out of the car and in the house before it closes and the light goes out. That also makes it so that I can press the button, then back out and leave and it will close by itself without me having to wait around."

"That's nice," I said, "but when did you press it? I didn't see you."

He grinned. "That's 'cause we were kissing when I pressed it."

"Oh? Like this?" I asked, turning him toward me and kissing him again as we stepped into the kitchen.

"Mm, hum," he moaned as he kissed me hard on the lips. His tongue probed my mouth and he pressed his warm, hard body against me as we kissed, passionately.

I reached between us and unzipped his pants. He hadn't buttoned them back up. I had just pulled his throbbing organ out of the confining white briefs when the doorbell rang.

"Shit," he gasped. "Who the fuck could that be?"

I cupped his hairy balls in my right hand and gently stroked him with my left one. "Ignore it. They'll go away," I said. "They can't see your car in the garage, so they don't know you're here."

"That's true," he agreed as the doorbell rang again.

I was thankful that even though it was almost nine o'clock, it was still light enough in the kitchen that David hadn't turned the light on when we walked in. His kitchen window faced the west and there was still a pink glow from the sitting sun that came in the window.

Holding his throbbing organ in my left hand, I used my right hand to loosen his tie. He hadn't taken it off when he got to our house even though I had told him he could get comfortable. I took it off and tossed it on the table, then unbuttoned his shirt. I ran my hand through the soft warm hair on his chest and kissed him gently on the lips. I never let go of his cock.

Kissing my way down his chest and stomach, I knelt in front of him. I kissed the tip of his hard member gently and ran my tongue across the base of it to his sack. He moaned as I ran my tongue back up and took as much of him as I could into my mouth.

"Oh yeah, Baby, suck it like only you can," he moaned.

"What the fuck's going on in there?" We both jumped as we heard Bruce's deep voice boom from outside the window.

I had my back to the garage door and David was facing it. The table and window were to my left. David only had half curtains over the bottom part of the window and a tier over the top of it, leaving the center of the window bare. Standing at the window looking in, Bruce could see very well "what the fuck" was going on.

"Shit," David said, stepped back and pulling his pants up. "Sorry, Babe," he said. "I need to get real curtains, I guess."

"I wasn't ready to meet your brother yet," I admitted, standing up.

David crossed to the back door and opened it. "What kind of pervert are you?" he demanded. "I should have you arrested for being a peeping tom."

Bruce grinned at him and stepped into the kitchen. "Me? I'm not the perv. I'm not letting some guy suck my dick."

He looked at me and smiled. "Wow, Dave, this one's cute. I might have to make the switch myself if he gives good head."

I know I turned three shades of red. David put his arm around me and ignored his brother's comment. "Bruce, this is Scott Campbell."

"Hi," he said, extending his hand. I was reluctant to shake it but decided I'd better. He had seen me with both my hands on David's dick, so he knew what he was getting when he took my hand. It was a firm handshake, but not an unpleasant one. He didn't try to hurt me, though he could have crushed my hand without much effort.

"Hi," I replied. "It's nice to meet you."

Bruce was about an inch taller than David's even six-foot and he weighed a lot more, too. He had a large stomach that I could tell was from his love of both beer and food. He was wearing a cotton shirt that he had unbuttoned to the middle of his chest, which showed off a thick growth of black hair. His beard and mustache covered up most of his face, but I could see by his sparkling blue eyes, there was a handsome man under there somewhere and he had a nice smile.

"Geesh, David, what'd you have to do, knock him upside the head to get him to blow you?" he asked, frowning at my black eye.

"No," David replied. "We were playing volley ball in the pool at the hotel and one of the guys didn't let Scott get the ball and accidently socked him in the eye when they both jumped for it."

"Well, Bro," he said, letting go of my hand; I noticed he didn't wipe his hand off on his pants. "I'm sorry for barging in on you, but Mr. Barstow called me about an hour ago. He's having that same problem we had when I set his system up. I have been trying to call you for the past hour, but didn't get an answer, so I figured I'd come over and bounce you out."

"I was over at Scott's having dinner," David replied, turning on the light as the sun sat and the room got darker. I would have preferred it if he had just left it off.

"Ah and came over here for desert, I see," he said, winking at me.

I blushed again and David smiled at me. "Scott, why don't you take your suitcase in the bedroom and I'll be in there in a little bit?"

I had no idea where the bedroom was, but I didn't care at that point. I was in too big of a hurry to get out of the room and way from Bruce. I picked up Mom's over night bag and headed to the hallway that connected the kitchen to the rest of the house. David pulled me back and kissed me on the lips. "I love you, Scott. Sorry for the hassle."

"I love you, too," I replied. Glancing at Bruce I kissed David again.

I didn't bother asking David where the bedroom was and he didn't offer to tell me. As I stepped into the hallway, I could see the front door at the opposite end. I looked into the first room on the left. It was a nice large bedroom with a queen-sized bed that hadn't been made. I knew this was David's room. I went in and closed the door. I sat my suitcase on the floor beside the bed and went into the bathroom. There was another door that lead into another bedroom, which didn't appear to have ever been used, or dusted, for that matter, and another door that lead into the hallway.

After closing the hall door and the other bedroom door, just in case Bruce wound up spending the night, I took my cloths off and climbed into the shower.

After finishing my shower, I turned the water off and pulled the curtain back. David handed me a towel. "I'm sorry, Sweetheart," he said, softly. I could see the disappointment in his blue eyes. "Bruce and I are going to have to go to Barstow's and figure out what the problem with his computer is. I thought I had it fixed earlier this afternoon, but apparently not."

I finished drying off and stepped out of the tub into his arms. "Do you want to take me home first?" I asked.

"I will if you want me to," he replied, kissing me gently on the neck as he held me close. "But I'd rather you stay here and go on to bed. I should be home in an hour or so, and then I'll make up for this."

"Mm, I like that idea better," I said and kissed him on the lips.

After Bruce and David left, I went into the bedroom and picked up David's dark blue robe off the end of the bed. I pressed it against my cheek and breathed in the aroma of him.

Even though I had brought my own robe, I slipped his on and went into the hallway to check out the rest of the house. A large arched doorway was to the right, across the hall from the bathroom door. I stepped in and turned on the ceiling light. A grey, over-stuffed sofa sat in the center of the room facing the front of the house. This sofa separated the living area from David's desk that he had his computer sitting on. From the desk, he could sit and work on his computer and still see the nice large entertainment center that sat in the south east corner of the living room. There were also two matching recliners that sat on either side of the sofa and a low wooden coffee with matching end tables.

The living area was neat and didn't appear to get much use, but David's desk was cluttered. It was obvious he spent most of the time he was in the room at the desk. The house was pretty small but cozy. If I were to move in with him, I would have to make the second bedroom my office and we'd have to move the bed out.

I turned on the TV and watched the ten-o'clock news, then went to bed, leaving the bathroom light on.

Sometime later, I woke up and tried to roll over. I was laying on my right side facing the wall. David's strong arm was wrapped around me and I could feel his warm hairy chest against my back. I wasn't wearing anything and neither was he. Raising up a little, I could see the clock. It was six-twenty-five. I didn't know when he had gotten home and was disappointed that he hadn't awakened me because when he had left, I was under the impression he would. I was also surprised that I hadn't woken up when he climbed into bed. I must have been tireder than I had realized.

Raising his arm up, I slipped out of bed and went into the bathroom. The bathroom door to the guest room was open and the morning light from the window in guest room was enough that I could see Bruce laying in bed.

I closed the bathroom door and sit down to relieve myself. He must not have woke me up because of Bruce being here, I told myself.

I washed my hands, brushed my teeth and went back into David's bedroom. He had rolled over on his back, but was still asleep.

I lay down next to him and ran my hand over his warm hairy chest as the radio alarm went off. It was six-thirty.

He rolled me over onto my back as he woke up and reached over and pressed the snooze button. "Morning," he said, sleepily, and kissed me on the lips.

I ran my hands down his warm, smooth back and pulled him closer as we kissed. "Mm," he said, "you taste good. No fair getting up and brushing your teeth before the alarm goes off."

I smiled and kissed him again. He had brushed his teeth before coming to bed and I could still taste a trace of mint. I looked into his eyes and feigned anger as I said, "You didn't wake me up when you got home."

He grinned and kissed me on the tip of my nose. "I know," he said. Raising up, he lay down right on top of me. "I would have, and really wanted to, but it was two-thirty and Bruce came home with me, so I figured it would be best for us not to have sex with him here."

"That makes sense, I guess," I reluctantly agreed as he pressed his hard cock against mine and leaned down to kiss me on the lips again.

"If you keep that up," I gasped, as he continued pressing against me and kissed my neck, "we're not going to be able to keep from having sex with him here."

"I love you, Scott," he said softly and kissed me on the lips again.

I held him tight and kissed him as he continued to press against me. "I want it in me," I whispered between kisses.

Raising up, he opened the night stand drawer under the clock and pulled out a condom. He started to tear it open with his teeth when Bruce knocked on the bathroom door. "David you up yet?" he called from the other side. "It's six-forty."

David shook his head and sighed as the alarm went off again. "Boy am I up," he whispered, pressing his hard cock against me. "Yes, Bruce. Get a shower. I'll take one when you're done."

"Okay. We just don't want to be late."

"We won't be," he replied.

David put his forehead against mine and we looked into each others eyes. "I love you so much, Scott," he said, softly.

"I love you, too, David."

"I'm sorry I brought him home."

"Why did you get home so late?" I asked. "Did you fix Mr. Barstow's computer?"

"No, it looks like a glitch in the motherboard," he replied, raising up. He tore the condom open and I took it from him as he spread my legs and lubricated my rose bud by spitting on his fingers. I slipped the condom on him and together, we guided him inside me.

"Bruce likes to take long hot showers," he said, laying down on top of me as he pressed himself deep inside me. "I think he likes to beat off in the shower. So we'll have plenty of time to enjoy this before he's done."

I moaned and kissed him as he pressed himself all the way inside me and then slowly pulled out and pressed back in. I loved the way David fucked me. It was always so slow and easy and so tender. He could last for hours and I could never get enough of him.

Running my hands down his strong, smooth back, I pulled him deeper into me as we kissed and heard Bruce turn the water off in the shower.

"Shit," David said under his breath. "The first time he's ever taken a three minute shower in his life."

"Forget him," I whispered and kissed him again. Pulling him deeper in, I pressed my hips against him as he sped up a little and began pounding his hard rod deep into my love hole. Pulling my hips back, I met him as he drove his nine incher deep into me. We were in perfect rhythm and the bed began to bounce as we continued our hot love making.

"Mm," he gasped. "I'm going to come if we keep this up."

"Fill me up, Baby," I moaned and kissed him again.

We were lost in the moment. Our bodies pounding together in unison was all that we were aware of. He pressed his tongue deep into my mouth and let out a muffled cry as he slammed his hard rod into me. I felt him expand and blast his load into the condom with such force, we both thought it broke.

"Oh shit, that was great, Scott," he gasped, trying to catch his breath. He collapsed on top of me and kissed me gently on the neck. That was the quickest he had ever came when we made love.

I held him tight and whispered, "I love you, David," in his ear.

"I love you," he replied.

With him laying on top of me, we held each other. Some time later, Bruce's deep voice rang through the quiet room. "You two going to sleep all day, or what?"

I woke up and looked around. David still lay on top of me and was sound asleep. I could see Bruce standing in the bathroom door. He was dressed. Our eyes met as I looked at him and he smiled.

"I'm really sorry to ruin your date, Scott," he said, softly. "But it's seven and we really need to get back to Barstow's."

"Okay, I'll get him up," I promised.

"I think you've already done that," he replied, crossing over to the bed. "Wake up, David," he said, gently shaking his brother's shoulder. "We gotta go."

I realized then that David had kicked the sheet off when he had entered me. If he raised up now, not only would Bruce see him, but he'd also see me.

David pressed his hips against me again. His dick had softened and had slipped out of me, but the soiled condom still clung to him. "Don't do that," Bruce said. "We don't have time. Let's go."

David raised up a little and looked up at his brother and sighed. He started to get up, but I put my hands on his back and held him down.

He looked at me for a moment, then looked back up at his brother. "Okay, I'm up," he promised. "Will you give us a little bit of privacy?"

Bruce looked at my chest, then at my face and gave me a warning look. "Okay, but if I don't hear the shower running in three minutes, I'm coming back in."

"Okay, I'll get up. I promise," David said.

Bruce went out the bedroom door and closed it. David leaned down and kissed me. "I'm sorry, but I've got to go."

"I understand," I replied, and kissed him again.

He got up and went into the bathroom, leaving the door open. A moment later I heard the water running in the shower.

Mom and Dad were sitting at the bar in the kitchen when I walked into the house after David dropped me off.

"How'd it go?" Dad asked.

"Not too good," I replied. I poured myself a glass of milk and sat down next to Dad.

"What happened?" he asked.

"David had to work until about two-thirty this morning. We never got a chance to talk. His brother was with him when they dropped me off, so we couldn't talk on the way over here. He promised he'd call by eleven-thirty if he couldn't make it for lunch."

"Oh, I'm sorry, Honey," Mom said. "We were hoping you would hit it off good enough that you'd come home."

"I know," I replied. "But his work comes first. And I can't hold that against him. I feel the same way about my customers."

"That's a good way to be, Son," Dad said folding up the paper.

"We're going to the store this morning," Mom said, picking up their breakfast dishes. "Do you want breakfast, or did you get any?"

"No. I'm fine," I replied. "David and Bruce were going to stop at a fast food place for something, but I'm okay." I leaned over and kissed Dad on the cheek. "I need to save room for Dad's bar-b-que."

"Do you want to go with us?" Dad asked, standing up.

"No, I think I'll just stay here. I need to do some laundry, so I'll do that and call a few friends that I missed yesterday."

"Okay," Dad said, "if that's what you want to do."

After they had left, I put a load of cloths in the washer. I found some of Mom and Dads things that needed to be done, too, so I added them to make the load larger. I was heading toward the living room when the front door opened and Brad walked in.

"Hi," I said, surprised. "You're early."

"Yeah," he said. "Mom called right before they left to see if we had any special requests for lunch. She said that you would be staying here by yourself, so I thought I'd come on over and spend some time with you. We haven't been able to spend any time alone together since I left for college."

I hadn't realized that, but now that he mentioned it, it was true. "I'm glad you came over," I said, following him to our room.

"We could go sit in the living room," I suggested as he closed the bedroom door.

"Nah. I want to rehash some old memories in here," he said, picking up a photo off his desk. It was a photo of his high school football team.

I stood beside him and looked at it as he smiled and fond memories came rushing back. "Have you kept in touch with any of them?" I asked.

"Not really," he replied. His blue eyes glazed over as he stared at the photo. He put his arm around me and held it so I could see it, too. Smiling up at us was the entire team. Standing next to Brad in the photo with a "don't mess with me" attitude artificially plastered on his handsome face, was Billy Frasier. He had been the Brad's best friend in high school. He was the same height as Brad back then and about the same weight, but a little more muscular. He was the one who had taught Brad how to masturbate. He had also been the first guy I had ever given head to or had up my ass. I had really fallen head over heels for him. He was my first love. I had been devastated when he had gone to college out of town after graduation.

I noticed a tear trickle down Brad's cheek. "What's wrong," I asked as he wiped it away with the back of his hand.

He sighed and sat the photo back on his desk and crossed over and lay down on his old twin sized bed. "We got a notice from high school a couple of weeks ago," he said, putting his hands behind his head and staring at the ceiling, "they're confirming our addresses so we can have our fifteenth year, high school reunion."

"Oh, that's nice," I replied, sitting down on the edge of the bed with him.

"Yeah. So, I called Mrs. Taylor to see if she had heard from Billy. We kind of lost touch after he graduated college and got a job in Southern California.

"Did you stay in touch with him?" he asked.

"No," I admitted. "I tried to through college, but then I was with Kevin and he was busy with studies and other things, and we just kind of faded out."

"Well, Mrs. Taylor said she hadn't heard from him, but she had heard from my friend Howard Long. Do you remember him? I think you though he was a jerk."

I smiled. "Yes, I do remember him and yes, I did think he was a jerk."

"She gave me his address. We hadn't kept in touch, so I didn't know where he was.

"Anyway," he continued, "I called him and he's doing fine. He just finished his internship at a hospital in Rockport. He hopes to come to the reunion."

"That's nice," I said, not only not wanting to hear about Howard, but wondering what could Brad's crying have to do with him.

"Well, it turns out that one of his patients he had was Billy."

"Oh no," I gasped.

"Yeah. He died of aids a couple of months ago."

"No," I cried. "He couldn't."

But I knew he could as Brad sat up and took me in his arms and held me tight while we both cried. Billy had never used a condom when he did me. Of course, that was in the early eighties, before aids was popular enough that anyone really knew about it, and safe sex and condoms were only talked about when you were doing a girl so she wouldn't get pregnant.

"What's really scary, Scott," Brad whispered in my ear, "is that you never used a condom with him. You could have it, too."

"No," I replied and got a tissue off the night stand to blow my nose. "I had a test done after Kevin left. But I never did anyone after getting to college without one. Billy's the only one I've ever done without one. I'm okay."

"That's a relief," Brad said, pulling me back into his warm, strong arms.

We held each other for a moment, then he pulled me down onto the bed and I ran my hand over the soft warm, thick hair on his stomach. He was only wearing a half tee shirt and a pair of grey work out shorts. Our eyes locked together for a moment and he smiled at me. "It's been a long time, hasn't it?" he asked, softly as I ran my hand down to the top of his shorts.

"Too long," I replied as we heard the garage door open, indicating that our parents were back.

"I guess it will be even longer," he said, sitting up.

He put his arm around me and we walked down the hallway to the kitchen. He opened the garage door and took the sack of groceries that Mom carried.

"Thanks. I'm glad that you came over early," she said, kissing him on the cheek.

He looked at me and grinned. "Yeah, we needed some time alone together," he said.

The remainder of the week flew by. David made it to lunch that day and we all had a good time. I spent every night at David's, but he had me home by seven-forty-five every morning so he could be at work at eight. I didn't get to spend any time alone with Brad, but he and his family did come over every evening to visit. I didn't get to meet Davids parents, which was fine with me, and Bruce left us alone and didn't come over or call. He confined his time with David to the store.

Saturday morning after we made love, David lay on top of me and looked into my eyes for a moment without saying anything.

"What's wrong, Sweetheart?" I asked.

He kissed me on the lips before answering. "I sure am going to miss you."

"Oh? Where are you going?" I asked, lightly.

In the past week, he had managed to get off around five o'clock every afternoon and had taken me to the gym he worked out at and got me started tanning. I now had a soft tan all over and hadn't burned once.

We had talked about everything that week, but we had never gotten around to talking about our future. Whether I was going to move to Spring Lake, or he sell out to Bruce and move to Springville and open a computer business there. That afternoon we were going to Rapid Springs and would spend the night in the room we had became lovers in. I would go back to Springville the next morning and he would return to Spring Lake.

He sighed and buried his face in my neck. "I love you so much, Scott," he said. "But Bruce can't handle the store by himself. There's too much he doesn't know. I have tried to talk him into buying me out all week, but he won't do it. I hate to ask you to give up your business in Springville, but I want to be with you."

I knew that there was no way that I could have my clients commute for me to do their work for them and it wouldn't work for them to fax it to me then me mail it back to them, either. I had managed to check around town and discovered that there were several other people working out of their homes as typists. They had told me that business wasn't very good. Two of them had to have part time jobs just to make ends meet. The others were married and their husbands made enough that what little income they had was just to supplement them or give them something to do. There was no way that I would be able to move my business to Spring Lake and survive and I refused to let David support me.

I ran my hands over his strong back and kissed him. "I love you, too, David," I replied. "I will go home and pack and come back if you will have me. As soon as I get settled in, I'll start looking for a job. You might have to support me for a while, but I will pay you back for everything."

David raised up and looked at me unbelievingly for a moment. "Are you sure?" he asked.

"Yes, I am," I replied. "I couldn't imagine living without you."

It was nine-thirty when David and I walked into my parent's house that morning. Dad grinned at us and said, "Running kind of late, aren't we?"

David returned his smile as I blushed. "Yeah, I couldn't get enough of him this morning," he explained, pulling me into his warm arms. We had made love two more times after I had told him I'd move in with him.

"I thought you had to work this morning, though," Mom said.

"I was supposed to," he admitted as we sat down at the bar in the kitchen, "but I called and told them I'd see them Monday. I'm going to spend the rest of the day with Scott. We've got a reservation in Rapid Springs at the hotel for tonight. Tomorrow I'm going to follow him to his apartment and spend the day there. Then I will come back and somehow survive next week without him. Friday night, I'll take the van down to Springville and we're going to load up his stuff and I'll bring him back."

"Oh that's wonderful!" Mom exclaimed, hugging him then me.

"Congratulations, David," Dad said, hugging him also. "You've managed to do something that no one else in this family has ever accomplished."

"You've lived in that apartment for five years," Mom said. "Are you sure that everything you have will fit in David's van?"

"Yes, Mother," I replied. "I don't have any furniture. The only thing I have is the kitchen, bedroom, cloths, and the bathroom, and my computer. Except for my TV and computer, it would actually probably all fit in the back end and back seat of my car."

"Why do you have to wait a whole week to come home, then?" she asked. "Why don't David just take you home and bring you back tomorrow?"

"I have a couple of appointments Monday that I must keep. And I have a list of clients that I have to inform that I'm leaving town," I replied. "I can't just evaporate into thin air without telling anyone I'm leaving."

"That's true," Dad agreed.

"I do like your idea, Sara," David agreed with Mom, "but he needs to take care of some business first."

When we arrived at the city limits of Rapid Springs, we were surprised that the road was blocked by the Highway Patrol. Neither of us had confirmed our reservation at the hotel.

"What's going on Officer?" David asked, rolling down his window.

"Sorry, Sir," he said, leaning down to look in the window of David's Le Sabre. "We had a flood last week and we aren't letting anything but trucks through. You're too small to come in."

"You mean it hasn't gone down since last week?" David asked, surprised.

"Nope. The canal dam broke and over flowed and it's keeping us under water."

"And there's no other way to Springville without going through town either, is there?"

"Sorry. Sure not. You can go back to Spring Lake, then go east and cut through Rockport, but that's it. The only road from here to Rockport is in the middle of town and you can't get there in this."

"Okay, thanks," David said and turned the car around.

"I guess we should have brought the van," he said, pulling over to the side of the road. "But I didn't count on this."

"I didn't either," I admitted. "I was sure it would be down by now."

"Well, we'll just call and reconfirm our reservations," David said, picking up the mobil phone, "then we'll run back to the store and get the van and come back. I'll take you home tomorrow."

"That's fine," I said as David dialed the number to the hotel, "but I'm going to need my car next week."

David looked at me apologetically. "Hi, Tim," he said when the phone was answered. "David Bennett here. I've got a reservation for tonight, but can't seem to get into town. If I get my van, will I be able to make it?" There was a long pause while David listened to what Tim had to say. "I see," he finally said. "Okay, go ahead and cancel it for me then, and we'll try again some other time. . . Thanks. Hope everything works out for you. . . Okay. Bye." David sighed and hung up.

He put the phone down on the seat next to him and looked at me. Disappointment filled his handsome face. "The canal dam broke after we left last week and except for the lobby, it flooded the entire first floor. Tim said your car is okay, but they are closed until further notice because they had to move everyone on the ground floor upstairs and now they are full. He said that even if we were in the van, they wouldn't have let us through the road block."

"Wow. I can't believe that," I replied. "I didn't think it was that bad."

"I didn't either, but the canal dam is right behind the hotel. They were able to sand bag enough to keep it out of the lobby."

"That's good," I said. "But now what are we going to do? I still need to get home by Monday."

David leaned over and kissed me then gave me a mischievous grin. "Everyone thinks we're out of town," he said. "Why don't we just go back to my house and enjoy the peace and quiet of not being bothered by anyone?"

I kissed him. "Mm, I like that idea," I replied. "But how am I going to get home?"

"You'll see," he said with another mischievous grin and sat up and pulled out onto the freeway.

When we got back to town, he pulled into a video store. "Since you've cooked nearly every night this week," he said, "why don't we get a couple of movies and a pizza?"

I leaned over and kissed him. "I love cooking for you," I said.

He grinned and kissed me again. "I love for you to cook for me," he admitted. "But you need a break. This is our night and we don't want to spend the evening cooking. . . food that is," he added.

"Okay, whatever you want to do. I just want to be with you," I said.

He dialed the local pizza place and placed our order, telling them we would stop by and pick it up shortly. Then we went into the video store and rented two movies.

When we got to his house, we sat in the living room and ate our pizza, drank Dr. Pepper, and watched the first movie.

"When are you going to tell me how I'm going to get home?" I asked, when he got up to change the movie.

He put the new movie in and came back and pushed me back on the sofa, laying down on top of me as he kissed me on the lips. "You are home," he whispered between kisses.

After a few minutes of heavy kissing, he got up and picked me up and carried me into the bedroom. We never did watch the second movie.

Thinking I heard something, I woke up Sunday morning and looked around. The clock by the bed said it was nine-thirty. David wasn't in bed. I got up and went to the bathroom, put my robe on and went into the living room. David was sitting at his desk talking on the phone.

"Great, I really appreciate this, Carlton," he was saying. "Scott just got up so we'll see you in about an hour."

"What's going on?" I asked as David hung up.

"Just getting ready to take you to your old apartment," he replied, standing up and putting his arms around me.

"What did you do, buy a boat?" I teased.

"Nope," he replied, kissing me. "Thanks for wearing the robe, Sweetheart," he said; he was wearing his, too. "I'd be so horny right now I couldn't stand it if you were nude."

"It's not helping me any," I replied as my blood rushed downward.

"You'd better get a cold shower then," he suggested. "We've got to go. It'll take us about fifteen to twenty minutes to get to where we're going to meet Carlton, so we'd better hurry."

"But you don't like quickies," I replied, kissing him again.

"Dammit Scott, stop," he said, reluctantly pushing me away. "I'll get in the shower. You get what you need packed up, packed. You can take a shower while I shave."

He headed into the hallway and I sighed. He wasn't going to tell me what was going on. I had not unpacked anything but my toiletries and my robe the night before, and I would need them after I showered, so I had nothing left to do while he showered. Making myself useful, I rewound the movies, picked up the empty pizza box and other trash, and carried the trash out to the dumpster in the back alley.

I finished my shower about the same time David finished shaving and we got dressed together. "You're not going to tell me where we're going, are you?" I asked, putting my shoes on.

He grinned and leaned down to kiss me. "No," he replied.

"I love you," I said.

"I love you, too, but I'm not going to tell you."

David carried my suitcase out to the car and put it in the trunk. He opened the passenger door for me and kissed me as I started to get in. "I forgot something," he said, "I'll be right back."

"Okay," I said and got in the car and buckled my seat belt.

A moment later he returned carrying the movies. "Thanks for cleaning up the living room and rewinding the tapes," he said, kissing me.

"You're welcome," I replied, kissing him again. The kiss lingered longer than either of us had planned for it to. I put my hand on his chest and he pulled away.

"I love you so much, Scott," he said, pushing the button to raise the garage door. "I wish I could bring you back with me tonight."

"So do I," I admitted. I noticed that another storm was brewing in the west. I hoped that it wouldn't rain in Rapid Springs any more for a while.

"Have you talked to the Nelson's this week?" he asked, pulling onto the freeway and heading toward the airport, after we had returned the movies.

"No. I tried a couple of times, but the lines were down."

The Spring Lake airport was a small, private airport. Springville was the closest major airport in the area. Anyone wanting to get out of our area by plane, had to go to Springville to catch a major airline. I didn't know enough about David to know if he owned his own airplane or not, but I didn't think he could afford one. I also knew that you could charter an airplane to Springville to catch your flight. Therefore, I was surprised when he passed the airport and turned into a distribution warehouse for a major mattress company. The leading source of income for Spring Lake.

David pulled his Le Sabre into the employee parking lot and stopped. "This is where we get out," he said, pressing the button to open the trunk.

"Okay," I said, with a sigh. I still didn't understand how a mattress firm could get me to Springville.

David took my suitcase out of the trunk and closed it as a semi running bob-tail pulled up outside the parking lot and stopped. I felt my chest tighten as the tall slender driver jumped out and rushed over to meet us. "David, how's it going?" he asked, shaking his hand.

"Better now," he replied. "Carlton Peters, this is Scott Campbell. Scott, Carlton's a friend of mine and he's going to give us a ride to Springville."

"It is you," he said, grinning at me. "Wow, where'd you get that shiner?" he asked.

"Hello Carl," I said, offering him my hand. He pulled me into his arms and hugged me; I didn't answer his question.

"What's going on here?" David demanded as I pushed Carl away.

I stepped over to David and put my arm around him, showing Carl that I was taken. "Scott and I met Christmas - what, three years ago?" I nodded. "We were at a mutual friend's party in Springville, and we hit it off pretty good. We went out a few times after that, but since I was driving the truck, he needed someone around all the time, so we had to break it off.

"He's really a great guy, David," he added. "I wish you both the best."

David put his arm around me and looked into my eyes. "Are you going to be okay riding with him? If not, we'll have to work something else out."

"I'll be fine," I replied. "As long as you're with me."

"Carlton," he said, "is it going to be a problem for you to take us?"

"No, not at all. Luckily, we didn't get very involved before we broke up. It wasn't too painful, for me, anyway. Still miss him, but not painful."

"That's a relief," David said. He led me around to the passengers side of the semi and opened the door. After sitting my suitcase on the floor in front of the seat, he put his hands on my sides and lifted me up into the cab.

"I've got a friend that has a trailer we'll pick up," Carl said, pulling the rig out onto the road as lightning flashed in the distance. I was sitting in the doorway of the sleeper on the queen-sized bed and David sat in the passenger's seat. "We can use it to pick up your car. I'll take you to the other side of Rapid Springs and drop you off so you can go on to Springville. Then I'll bring David back."

I gave David a disappointed look and he shrugged. "Sorry Sweetheart," he said. "I know we had planned on me spending the rest of the day with you in Springville, but I wouldn't be able to get home if I go with you."

Reluctantly, I had to agree. We rode in silence for a few minutes before Carl pulled into a car dealership's parking lot. A burly guy about our age climbed out from under the hood of an equally impressive semi and came over to greet us.

"Hey, Todd," Carl said, rolling his window down.

"Hi, Buddy," Todd said, "I got the trailer ready for you."

"I appreciate it," Carl said. I wondered if Todd was gay as Carl backed up to a trailer that would carry about three vehicles.

With Carl skillfully handling the semi, I kicked my shoes off and lay down on the comfortable bed. The curtain closed and I was in darkness.

I closed my eyes for a moment and listened to the hum of the wheels beneath us. I wished that David would join me, but it would be rude for him to. A few minutes later, I could tell that someone had opened the curtain and I figured it was David, but I didn't open my eyes.

"Is he asleep?" I heard Carl ask.

"Looks like it," David replied.

"You sure are lucky, David. I'd give my eye-teeth if we could have stayed together."

"I thought you said it wasn't too painful for you to break up," David reminded him.

"It wasn't, really. And I really enjoy driving and being on the road, but it does get lonely at night laying back there with nothing warm to hold onto but a pillow. And it's even worse being gay, cause most of the places I wind up, the only hookers that come around are women and I'm not interested in them."

"I guess that would be difficult," David agreed.

"I guess what I miss the most about Scott is the way he gives head. He gives the best blow job I've ever had."

I opened my eyes and David was looking at me with a tense expression on his handsome face. "Yeah, he does," David agreed, unbuckling his seat belt.

"You mind if I join him back there?" he asked.

"No, go ahead," Carl replied. "No telling when you'll see him again, if ever."

I rolled over onto my right side with my back to the door and David crawled in behind me and wrapped his arm around me and kissed me gently on the cheek. "I love you, Scott," he whispered so low that Carl couldn't hear him over the hum of the engine.

Turning my head, I kissed him on the lips. "I love you, too," I whispered. I couldn't believe that Carl had said what he did.

He lay there holding me for a while. Some time later, the truck slowed to a stop. "Howdy officer," Carl said. "Water still hasn't receded any?"

"No Sir. Where are you headed?"

"I have to pick up a car at the hotel and drop it off on the other side of town," Carl replied.

"Okay, just drive real slow. You never know what might be washed up on the road that you can't see. And you don't want to make any waves."

"No problem. Thanks," Carl said and we started forward again.

David got up and returned to the passenger's seat. I sat up and watched Carl drive into the rushing water. It was a lot deeper than it had been when David and I left the week before.

When we reached the hotel, Carl pulled into the parking area and backed up to the canopy, stopping with the trailer just underneath the canopy. "Hand me your keys, Scott, and I'll load it up."

Luckily, he had seen my car before and it was still sitting right where I had left it. I handed him my keys and he opened the door.

"Need any help?" David offered.

"Nope, it'll be a snap," he replied.

Carl climbed out of the cab and, hanging onto the side of the semi, climbed across the back to the trailer. David and I watched him in the mirror as he trotted across the trailer and hopped onto the dry pavement underneath the canopy and dashed over to my car. He jumped in and started it, backed up, and drove it slowly onto the trailer. He got out and hooked it up with chains that were already positioned on the trailer. After making sure it was secure, he made his way back along the back of the cab and the side, to the door.

"That was a snap," he said, grinning at me. "Now we're ready to get out of here."

"Thank you, Carl," I said.

"I'm glad I could do it," he said, his brown eyes sparkling as he looked at me. "It makes me having this rig worth it to help out someone I care about."

I glanced uncomfortably at David as Carl pulled out into the street. We could see the water rushing toward us from behind the hotel where the dam had broken and we were relieved when we pulled out onto the street and headed southward.

Water rushed everywhere but didn't seem to be going anywhere. I put my hand on David's arm and sighed as I watched someone in a motor boat come to a stop at a cross road. Carl slowed down so we wouldn't cause a major wave that would capsize the boat.

Passing through town, we could see several cars that seemed to be about the same size as mine and David's that we could just make out the top half from the windshield up.

I pointed to a van that had water up to the bottom of the windows. "That explains why we couldn't come in the van," I said.

About fifteen minutes later, we all breathed a sigh of relief when Carl drove out of the water onto dry pavement. He pulled over to the side of the road and stopped.

"I'll get the car," he said, jumping out.

David opened the door and got out. I grabbed my suitcase and handed it down to him. He sat it on the ground and I jumped out of the cab into his waiting arms. David kissed me as he held me. Neither of us stopped to say anything. We both knew by the kiss how we felt.

"Okay, it's ready," Carl said.

David broke the kiss and we looked at Carl standing beside the truck. He had moved my car off the trailer and parked it in front of the rig. "Thank you, again," I said, hugging him.

"You're more than welcome," he replied.

"Are you sure I don't owe you anything?" I asked.

"The hug and seeing you again was enough," he replied.

David picked up my suitcase and carried it to the trunk. Carl had left the car running, so I went to the driver's side and, reaching in, pressed the button to open the trunk.

Carl got back in the truck and waited while I kissed David again. "I love you," I said. "I wish you could come with me. I don't know how you're going to make it back to pick me up Saturday, if this water hasn't receded by then."

"I'll be there, don't worry," he promised. "If I go east to Rockport, I can go around Rapid Springs. It will take an extra hour hours, but to get you, it will be worth it."

He kissed me again and I clung to him as he held me. Breaking the hug with tears streaming down my cheeks, I turned and got into my car. It was a beautiful warm day, but I didn't notice. We had driven out from under the storm somewhere after leaving Spring Lake. I turned on the radio and lowered the windows, then lowered the top. I needed the cool breeze on my face to dry the tears. I watched Carl turn his rig around and head back into the water, through the rear view mirror. Closing my eyes as the truck disappeared in the distance, I took a deep breath and put the car in gear. I jumped when I felt the car move and David's warm mustache brushed against my cheek as he kissed me.

"David?" I said, surprised.

"I'm sorry, Babe," he said, buckling his seat belt. "I couldn't let you go this way. I would have gotten in earlier, but I had to piss. I thought you saw me and was waiting for me."

"I'm sorry, I didn't see you. No, that's fine with me," I replied, kissing him. "But how are you going to make it back by in the morning?"

His blue eyes sparkled as he grinned at me. "I'll figure something out," he said. "Let's just worry about being together right now."

"Okay," I replied, kissing him again.

I drove toward Springville with him holding my hand. Though I had made this trip several times in the past eleven years, David pointed out things that I had never noticed before. The wind in our faces with the top down felt good and his hand in mine felt even better.

When we arrived at my apartment complex, he carried my suitcase upstairs. "Wow, Scott, this is nice," he said looking around the apartment.

There was a cream colored sofa with large roses splattered around on it, facing the balcony. I had purchased rose colored throw pillows to go in the corners and the center. Cream colored ceramic lamps with rose colored shades sat on the glass topped end tables and a matching glass topped coffee table sat in front of it. At each end of the coffee table there was a rose colored rocker/recliner. I had a nineteen inch TV sitting underneath my VCR on a TV stand in the corner.

The dining area had a blond table with matching chairs. My computer sat on it, facing the kitchen door, which was to the right of the front door. I could easily watch TV or just look out on the balcony and could see across the courtyard or watch people play in the pool below. I had to get up and either sit on the couch or go out onto the balcony to see anyone laying out beside the pool, though.

"This furniture came with the apartment?" he asked, surprised.

"Yes, but not technically," I replied.

"What does that mean?" he wanted to know.

"Well, they don't have furnished apartments here, but I wanted one furnished since I didn't have any furniture. So, I sweet talked the manager into getting this for me from a furniture rental place. I pay a little extra a month and he makes the furniture rental payment. Actually, I think he's probably bought it by now. I've lived here for five years. My lease will be up next month."

"Why didn't you just buy it?" he asked.

"I didn't want to have to move it in or out when I move," I admitted. "That's also why I've lived here so long."

He pulled me into his arms and put his face close to mine. "And just how did you sweet talk him into getting it for you?" he asked, softly. I saw a flicker of fire in his blue eyes. I knew that he had been upset to discover that Carl and I had been sexually involved some time ago. Now, I knew that he was afraid that the complex manager was a notch on my bed post, too.

Grinning I replied, "I don't know if I should tell you or not."

"You'd better, or I'm going to tickle it out of you," he said, grinning.

"Well, okay," I replied. "I looked at this apartment about a week before I decided to take it, so I already knew that it didn't come with furniture. I went to a furniture rental place and found this living room, bedroom and dining room suit. I discovered that if I rented from them, they would deliver and pick up. I also found out that it would be thirty dollars a month for the three suits. Fifteen for the living room, ten for the bedroom, and five for the dining room, since it's just a table and chairs. So, I told Mr. Perkins, the manager, that I would pay him forty if he would rent it for me. At the time, I didn't have enough credit, being right out of college and not having been at my job but for a few months, to get it myself. And that's what I did to get it, and why."

"Ah, that's a good reason," he agreed, pulling me closer and kissing me.

"How did you and Carl meet?" I asked, as we sat down on the sofa.

"He lives in town now," David replied as I unbuttoned his shirt, "he needed a computer and come into the store. He bought a note book. You didn't see it because he keeps it under his seat. We aren't real good friends, but we spent a lot of time together getting his system set up. We've gone out together a couple of times, played pool together, drank a little. He always picked up someone and would leave with them. Once in a while, I'd pick up someone to take home, too. We were out together when I met Jason."

"Oh, I see," I replied, unfastening his belt.

"It didn't really bother me when he hugged you and told me that you had been lovers," David admitted. "But what got me was when he said he missed the way you give head. That personalized it a little too much. I wouldn't have been able to ride back to Spring Lake with him, knowing you blew him. That's why I crawled into the sleeper with you and came to Springville with you, too."

"I'm glad you did," I admitted. "But remember, you weren't around when we were together. And, what he didn't tell you, is that we were only together once."

"But he said you went out a few times," David reminded me.

"We did," I replied. "We met at the party then he called me a few days later. I went to a movie with him the following Friday night. He got a call on his pager saying that he had a load to take somewhere, while we were at the movie. We waited until the movie was over before he dropped me off and left.

"The next weekend," I continued, "we went out to a club and he got kind of wasted, so I drove us back to his place and we went to bed. He started kissing me and passed out on me. The next morning, he woke up horny and I was too, so I gave him a blow job. Right as he came, he got a call that a load was ready, so he brought me home.

"He called me the next weekend, but I told him that I needed more than he could give me," I concluded.

"Oh. So then all you've ever done is give him one blow job?" he confirmed.

"That's it. And he kissed me some, but not much," I replied. "The only time we kissed he'd been drinking and, as you know, I don't care for the smell or taste of alcohol, so I didn't kiss him much.

"You know what?" I asked, unzipping his pants.

"What?"

"Let's forget Carl," I said, pulling his hardening organ out of his confining briefs. He moaned as I kissed the head of it and it filled with blood. I watched his handsome face as I flicked my tongue across the base of the head of it.

"Oh yeah, Scott, you do give the best head I've ever had," he admitted as I took him into my mouth as far as I could. He smiled while he watched me lick, caress, and suck his dick. When I ran my tongue over the base of the head he'd moan and his eyes would roll back in their sockets. I loved to watch his facial expressions while I serviced him.

"You know what I really like, Scott?" he asked softly, pulling me up to kiss me on the lips.

I ran my hand through the soft warm hair on his hard chest as we kissed. "No, what?" I asked.

"I really love it when you let me put it up your ass."

"Mm, I like that, too," I admitted.

Getting up, I took a hold of his raging hard on and pulled him to his feet. We kissed for a few minutes while I stroked it. Still holding onto it, I led him into the bedroom.

I stopped beside the bed and turned around and kissed him on the lips as I took his shirt off. Kneeling in front of him, I kissed his organ while I pulled his pants and briefs down and he stepped out of them. "You have any condoms?" he asked, his voice coming from deep within his chest.

"Yes I do," I replied, grinning up at him.

After we made love, I lay with my head on his warm hairy chest, listening to the sound of his breathing and his heartbeat.

I laughed and looked up at him as his stomach growled. "It's two- thirty," I said, looking at the clock. "Except for me, you haven't had anything to eat since last night. What do you want me to make?"

He stretched and yawned. "I don't know. Why don't we get a shower and get dressed and go out? There's a real nice restaurant I like to eat at that sits on the river."

"It's called the River Barge," I replied. "I've got a friend who's a waiter there. It is good, but I don't mind cooking for us."

"No, I want to take you over there to eat," he said, setting up. "I've got to call the bus station and see if I can get a ride home, too. I'm sure that they'll let the bus go through Rapid Springs. I have to be at work by eight, and though I could charter a plane, I doubt if I could make it by eight."

"Since you will have to catch a taxi or call Bruce or someone to get you, whether you take the bus or a plane," I said, rubbing his shoulders, "why don't I take you home? We can go through Rockport and spend the night at your house. I can leave in the morning when you go to work. I'll be home by ten if we do that and that will be okay. I don't have an appointment until noon tomorrow."

He turned around and looked at me with hope in his eyes. "Are you sure you wouldn't mind?" he asked.

"Yes. I really don't want to spend tonight without you and if we are at your house, you will be able to get to work on time and not have to get up too early."

"Thanks, Scott," he said, kissing me.

He pushed me down on the bed and continued kissing me, moving his body over on top of mine. "I love you so much, Scott," he whispered, looking deep into my eyes. "I wish that I could pack you up and take you home with me and you not come back tomorrow."

"I'd like that, too," I admitted. "But we both know I shouldn't do that."

"Since you're lease isn't up here until next month, is that going to be a problem?" he asked, getting out of bed. "You won't be able to give them a full thirty day's notice if you come home with me Friday."

"It shouldn't be," I replied, following him into the bathroom. "I had to pay the first and last month's rent . . . Wait a minute. I did have to pay the first and last month's rent," I repeated. "Since today is the twenty-fifth, I can give them my thirty day's notice tomorrow when I get back from Spring Lake. That way, I won't have to pay rent for next month and I can be officially out by the end of next month. If I do that, not only will I not loose my deposit, when you come to the computer shows next month, I can come with you and we can stay here instead of getting a hotel room. If you want to, that is."

David finished urinating and pulled me into his arms. "Mm, I like that idea," he said, kissing me gently on the lips.

"And I can get my friend Dan to come over and get my mail for me every day. He can either forward it to me at your place, or we can pick it up in a couple of weeks."

David agreed to this and, while he took a shower, I called my parents to let them know we had made it home okay, but I would have to take him back home. After I took my shower, we got dressed and headed downstairs to my car. "You want to drive, Sweetheart?" I asked, offering him the keys.

"Are you sure you trust me with your car?" he asked, grinning.

I kissed him on the lips and he put his arms around me and held me close. "I trust you with my heart and it's more fragile than the car is."

"I promised your brother I would never hurt you, Sweetheart," he said, nuzzling my neck. "I meant it."

I melted into his arms and held him tightly. "We'd better get out of here before I have to carry you back up stairs," he said, pulling away from me.

"I guess you're right," I reluctantly agreed. "I love you, David," I added as he unlocked the passenger's door for me and opened it.

He kissed me tenderly on the lips, "I love you, too," he said and trotted around the car to the driver's side while I got in an fastened my seat belt.

David was five inches taller than me, so he had to push the seat back a little. "How do you take the top down?" he asked. "I've never driven a convertible before and I think it'd be fun to have the top down."

I showed him the button to press and he put the top down. He drove out into the street and headed toward the River Barge.

The River Barge was an old ferry that had been moored to the dock. The inside had been converted to an elegant restaurant with a magnificent kitchen in the stern. Everyone was welcome to eat at the barge during the day, but after six pm, it was strictly black tie, with dinner and dancing on the deck. As far as I, and several of my friends and customers, were concerned, it was the best place in town to eat. When Kevin and I were together, he would take me to "The Barge," as it was called by the locals, at least once a month for a candle light dinner and dancing. I, of course, always had to borrow a tie from him, but did have a nice suit that I could wear.

"How long has it been since you ate here?" David asked, putting the top up on my car.

"I had lunch with a client here last week," I replied. "I try to eat here at least once a month, but I haven't come to dinner here in about four years."

He looked at me for a moment. "Was it a date or just dinner?" he asked.

I didn't want to answer him, but there was no need for us to have any secrets. And besides, maybe he was trying to find out if it would be okay for gay couples to dine and dance there. "It was a date," I replied. "The owners are a gay couple who are friends of mine from church. I go to the MCC church with them. Even though they encourage gay couples to come to The Barge, they are not a gay restaurant, per se. More like a gay friendly one. I was with my college roommate. We were lovers then."

The top clicked into place and he grinned at me. "You covered everything, didn't you?" he asked.

I shrugged. "Didn't want you to think I was hiding anything," I admitted.

He leaned over and kissed me. "Thanks for covering everything," he whispered.

He got out and walked around and opened my door. Putting his arm around me, we walked onto The Barge.

"Hey Scott," the tall slender host greeted me as David and I stepped onto the deck. "Whoa, what happened to you?" he asked, worriedly, noticing my still black eye.

"Hi Dan," I replied, hugging him. "I got to play water volleyball on vacation and a teammate didn't let me get it when I told him I would, so I got it."

"You poor thing," he said, sympathetically.

"Dan," I said, changing the subject and turning to David. "This is David Bennett. David, this is Dan Wilder."

Dan ran his green eyes approvingly over David as he shook his hand. "Nice to meet you," he said.

"Like wise, I'm sure," David replied, smiling.

"Well, Scott," Dan said, turning to me, "is this going to be a business lunch or pleasure."

David pulled me against his chest. "I'm hoping it will be a pleasure," he replied for me.

Dan grinned and looked at me. "Well you go, Girl," he replied in his queeniest voice as I blushed.

Laughing, he said, "Come on, Babe, let me show you our best table this afternoon."

After Dan had seated us at a table close to the edge of the ferry that had a nice view of the river, but was still in the shade of the cabin, he took our drink orders and departed.

"He's cute," David said, taking my hand, "have you ever. . . you know?"

I smiled and shook my head. "No, he's not my type," I replied.

Dan was cute. He had strawberry blond hair and sparkling green eyes. His straight white teeth glistened in the sunlight when he smiled or laughed, which was most of the time. His voice wasn't macho or masculine, but not feminine, either. You really couldn't tell that he was gay by looking at him or listening to him talk. You just had to get to know him. He was about five-nine and had a swimmer's body and a soft tan. The only times I ever saw him were when he was either at work, wearing his uniform of black dress shorts and white short sleeved shirt with a black string tie, or at church, where he wore a nice suit and tie. Occasionally, a group of us would go out to lunch after church but he kept his suit and tie on during those times.

"Why isn't he your type? He called you Babe, maybe he's interested in you?" David suggested.

I grinned. "Are you trying to get rid of me?" I asked, mischievously.

"Not on your life," he replied.

I leaned back in my chair and looked at him across the table for a moment. "I wish I had a mirror," I said, softly.

"Why?" he asked, frowning.

"So I could show you what my type is," I replied, reaching across the table to take his hand in mine, again.

He grinned and leaned across the table and kissed me. "I love you, too, Scott," he said, pressing our foreheads together as we looked into each other's eyes.

"Uh huh," Dan's voice broke our moment, "now I know why you two are having such a late lunch."

I blushed as we sat back so he could sit our drinks in front of us. He bent down close to my ear and whispered, "Girl, you're going to have to stop blushing so much. You're not going to have any blood left to go to the other head later, if you don't."

David didn't hear what he said but my face turned crimson. Even though I was so embarrassed that I thought my face was on fire, the tears welled up in my eyes and I had to close them and bite my bottom lip to keep from laughing out loud. I knew that if it hadn't been me, Dan wouldn't have said that and he was just teasing.

Trying to recompose myself, I opened my eyes and looked into David's worried face. "Just for that, Dan," I said, wiping a tear out of my good eye, "I'm going to move back home to Spring Lake. Will you mind checking my mail for me every day until I get the mail forwarded?"

Horror spread over his handsome face as he knelt next to me. "Honey, I was just playing," he said, worriedly.

I couldn't help laughing. "I know, Dan," I said, putting my hand on his shoulder. "I'm not really leaving just because of what you said. I'm leaving because I'm moving in with David."

The worry melted into an ear to ear grin and his green eyes sparkled more than I'd ever seen them sparkle before. "Congratulations, Babe," he said, kissing me on the cheek. He stood up and leaned down and kissed David on the cheek, too. "Way to go, David," he said. "I've been wanting him for myself every since I met him, but he like's bears and I won't mention where the only hair on my body is," he said, winking at me.

I was thankful that it was a slow afternoon and we were the only ones on this side of the ferry. "I tell you what," he said, picking up the menus that we hadn't even had a chance to look at yet and handing them to us. "Lunch is on me today. Pick out whatever you want and it's yours."

"Thanks, but we couldn't let you do that," David protested before I could say anything.

"I agree," I added. "We can't let you pay for our lunch."

"Yes you can," he replied. "We can just call it my wedding present to you."

David and I exchanged glances. "You two are going to have a Holy Union, aren't you?" he asked.

"Well, yeah," David replied. "But we haven't had a chance to discuss it yet."

"Oh. Good. I'd hate to think you were going to be living in sin," he said, winking at me.

After we ordered and finished eating, David and I both gave Dan a hug and thanked him again for lunch.

"I need you to come over Friday if you can and get my keys so you can look after the apartment and get my mail for me," I told Dan as he walked us off the ferry to my car.

"I'll be glad to," he said. "I'm working the lunch shift, so what if I come over about three?"

"That will be fine," I said.

David drove us back to Spring Lake, detouring through Rockport After stopping by the mattress firm to get his car, I followed him home and he pulled into the garage. He hopped out and opened the other door and motioned for me to drive in. Afterwards, we spent the remainder of the evening at his place, just lounging around and making love.

The following morning, I kissed him goodbye as I got into my car. "I love you, Scott," he said, holding me tightly. "Thanks for bringing me home."

"I love you, too, David," I replied, kissing him.

"You be careful going home. Call me when you get there. I'll call you before I leave Friday afternoon to come get you," he said.

"Okay. I'm going to miss you," I said.

"I'll miss you, too, but I'll call you every evening right before I go to bed so we can talk before we go to sleep."

"Okay, but I hate for you to run up your phone bill."

"It will be worth it to hear your voice since I won't be able to hold you."

Trying to hold back the tears, we both left.

The week dragged by. I contacted everyone I needed to but several times I caught myself sitting at my desk staring blankly out the patio doors day dreaming about David. I knew then that I was making the right decision.

I had everything packed and ready to go when David knocked on the door about six-thirty Friday. When I opened the door, he grabbed me and pulled me into his warm strong arms and kissed me passionately.

"Damn I've missed you, Scott," he breathed against by ear as he held me.

"I've missed you, too," I replied.

He pulled back a little and looked at my face. "I see you're bruise is starting to clear up. Does it still hurt?"

"Sometimes," I replied. "But not as bad."

He looked around the apartment. "I hope all these boxes fit in the van," I said.

"They will," he promised.

"Uh, Scott," he said, looking around. "Have you packed the bedroom yet?"

"I left the bed made," I said. "Remember, we're going to be staying here off and on through next month."

"Oh good," he said. "I wanted to lay down for a little while before we started loading the van."

"Well, the bed is made so we can if you want."

"We really don't need sheets," he said, putting his arm around me, "but we do need condoms. How deep are they buried?"

I grinned up at him as I reached into my hip pocket. "I have one right here," I said pulling it out.

"Mm. Glad you are prepared," he said, taking it from me as he kissed me on the lips.

After we made love, he fell asleep on top of me. A couple of hours later, I woke up to the ringing of the phone. I had left the wall phone in the kitchen and the clock radio telephone in the bedroom, since we would need them when we came to town.

"Hello?" I said softly as I answered it.

"Hi Scott," Mom said. "I thought you'd be here by now, but we haven't heard from you and there's no answer at David's either."

I focused my eyes on the clock. David was still on top of me but he moved a little and woke up. "David was tired after he got here, so we laid down for a while. We just woke up when the phone rang," I admitted. "Since we still have to load the van, we probably won't bother coming back until in the morning."

David raised up and shook his head. "No, we've got to go tonight," he said. "I've got an appointment at nine in the morning I can't miss or be late for."

"Well, it looks like we will have to go on tonight," I told Mother. "But I'll call you when I get up in the morning."

"Okay, be careful driving in the dark," she told me.

"We will," I promised.

David got up and got dressed and after saying goodbye to Mom, I did too.

"Sorry we have to go tonight," he said, kissing me. "But I have to keep this appointment."

"That's okay," I said. "I don't mind."

"You want to follow me?" he asked, after we had the van loaded and I was getting ready to get into my car.

"Sure," I replied. "But I wish I could ride with you."

"So do I, but you'll need your car."

"Yeah. I hope I can find a job pretty quick."

"You don't have to," he said, grinning at me.

"Yes I do," I protested. "I told you I'm not going to let me support you."

"Oh. Then I guess you won't want the job I found for you," he said, disappointedly.

"You found me a job?" I asked, unbelievingly.

"Yeah. Sheila decided to move back here. Did you realize that your manager is her dad?"

"No, I didn't," I admitted. "I knew they both had the same last name, but didn't make the connection."

"Yeah. Well, he wants to train her to be a leasing agent and for her to live here so she'll be closer to them. So, I need you to be my receptionist. If you want to, that is."

"I don't know if I should or not," I admitted.

"It's okay with Bruce," he said.

"Okay, I will then," I said. "Thank you." I kissed him. "I love you."

"I love you, too, Scott," he said, pulling me into his warm strong arms and holding me tight as we stood in the apartment complexes parking lot and kissed.

That was six years ago. David and I just celebrated the fifth anniversary of our Holy Union. Dan was my best man for the Union. We never did give up my apartment in Springville. He hired a part time receptionist who could take care of the office while we were gone to the computer shows. We stayed in the apartment while we were in Springville and were able to write part of it off as a business expense. Occasionally, we go to Springville just to spend the weekend in the apartment. David bought me a suit with a tie and we go to The Barge when we're in town on Friday nights for dinner and dancing.

His brother, Bruce, and I get a long very well now, but his parents won't still haven't gotten used to me being their "son-in-law". If they call the store and I answer, they are cold and professional. They have stopped calling David at home, since I usually answer the phone there, too. We have spent most of the holidays at my parents or Brads, but we have had Christmas and Thanksgiving a few times at our house. On these occasions, my family came over but his did not, even though we did invite them. Bruce would decline our invitations also and would go to their parents house so they wouldn't be alone for the holidays.

Laying here in bed with David, I run my hand over his warm, hairy chest and I smile as I think back to that day six years ago, when I saw a rain drenched hunk walk into the lobby looking for a dry place to stay. If it hadn't been for that rain storm, I wouldn't be here now.
