*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I'd been sitting in the same spot here in the living room all evening waiting on Nick's ass to come in. Like every Friday night, his ass goes out with God knows whoever and then when he's done having his fun, he brings his trifflin ass up in here, wanting to lay his ass down with me. I ain't with that shit any more, and I'm not going to deal with it. As I walk around in the living room, passing the fire place, I hear a car door slam, signaling Nick's arrival.

"Hey baby, you still up?" He asks me, walking into the living room and standing there near the door.

"Uh huh, bring yo' azz on in here. I got something fo ya," I tell him as he looks at me strange.

"Baby," he says, still looking strange.

"Busted! It's two o'damn clock in the morning, where you been?" I ask him as he steps back a little bit.

"Baby didn't you get my two way I was with my best friends," he tells me.

"You a lie, I called Kevin and Brian, they were both at home," I tell him as he shakes his head.

"I didn't say I was with them though," he tells me as I point my finger at him.

"Well they the only ones I know! Boy you betta...," I say as he interrupts me.

"Wait before you get all upset here's the truth," he tells me.

"You betta talk to me," I tell him as he looks down at the floor.

"I was with my friend when he got some bad news," he tells me.

"And?" I ask, waiting for more.

"His man cheated, had him upset and confused."

"Nick what does that have to do with you coming in after two?" I ask him.

"I'm telling you. He was so upset, he asked me to stay with him," he tells me, sweating a little bit now.

"Well why didn't your ass just pick up the phone and call me?" I ask him.

"I was gonna, but it slipped my mind I'm sorry baby," he tells me as I squint at him. "But I'm telling you the truth."

"Well I got something for you," I tell him as he looks up at me quickly. "What's his name?"

"Alex," he tells me.

"Where he live?"

"Ummmm," he stutters.

"The man's name?" I ask him.

"Bobby," he tells me as I look at him again.

"He got friends?" I ask him.

"I think a few," he answers.

"He got friends?" I ask the question again, trying to trip his ass up.

"Baby yes, no," he stutters again as I was ready to smack his ass.

"That's one thing I gotta know. How the hell are you his friend if you don't know if he got friends?" I ask him as he shakes his head.

This shit was getting out of hand. He knew the deal and he knew I knew the deal. He was sweating buckets now cause this shit was catching up to his ass. He lucky we had company, because I'd beat his ass like the bitch he is. I tried to hold my tongue because our mutual friend Nikki was staying with us and she walked into the room to catch the brunt of the conversation.

"Go Upstairs," I tell him.

"Busted," Nikki says as she's laughing.

"Pack your bags," I tell him.

"Cause you busted," Nikki tells him as she's walking towards the door.

"While you at it call a cab," I tell him as he the tears start to flow.

"Cause you busted," Nikki says again as the smirk returns to her face.

"It's obvious to me you playin around," I tell him as he shakes his head again.

"Busted," Nikki says, standing in the hallway at the bottom of the stairs

"Go upstairs, get your shit and get the fuck up outta here now," I tell him as he stops and walks over to me.

"Justin please hear me out," he says,

"Hell bitch, ain't nothing to talk about," I tell him, pushing him back.

"I can explain everything," he tells me.

"Right now I want you out my house," I tell him.

"Baby please one more chance, let me tell you where I've been," he tells me as I stand there and look at him, waiting on the answer.

"Well quit wasting my time and say what's on your mind," I tell him as he closes his eyes and take a breath.

"Fine, me and some of my friends, we went clubbing, me Alex, Howie and Aaron," he tells me.

"Well if ya'll were going clubbing, why didn't you just check in?" I ask him.

"I was, but then I thought, my cellular was off," he tells me, uh huh, another likely story.

"Now earlier, you said talking, but when I just asked, you said clubbing...

"Uhhhh," he said, another damn lie.

"Tell me which one you were doing?" I ask him.

"Oh baby I must be confused," he says as he steps back again and Nikki just shakes her head.

"Yeah fucking right, you real fucking confused," I tell him, getting angry all over again. "Tell me where you been?"

"Dancing," he tells me.

"Dancing where?" I ask him.

"Uhhhh," he stutters again.

"The name of the club?" I ask him.

"Club Sugadaddy," he answers me.

"What time it ends?" I ask him.

"I think one or two," I ask him as he looks back and forth between me and Nikki.

"What time it ends?" I ask him again.

"Three, four?" He randomly throws out answers.

"Here's one thing I got to know. At first you say talking, but now you say dancing..." I tell him as he starts blushing and sweating more.

This bitch don' had it. He sitting here lying straight to my face. What the hell do he take me for? I'm not one of those bitches on the damn street or in the club he can just play on a damn string. This is it and he's out the door.

"Go Upstairs," I tell him.

"Busted," Nikki says as she's still laughing.

"Pack your bags," I tell him. "While you at it call a cab."

"Cause you busted," Nikki tells him as she's walking towards the door.

"It's obvious to me you playin around," I tell him as he shakes his head again.

"Busted," Nikki says, standing in the hallway at the bottom of the stairs

"Go upstairs, get your shit and get the fuck up outta here now," I tell him as he stops and walks over to me.

"Justin I'm a victim of circumstances," he tells me.

"Ooohhh?" I say, giving him a little bit of hope, but ready to pull the string away from him.

"Why you don't believe me, I don't understand it," he tells me.

"You trying to slick a can of oil, who you think you fooling?" I ask him as he looks down at the floor. "Now get on out my face...before I catch a damn case!"

"Baby," he says, tears slowly falling now. "Wait."

"Go upstairs," I tell him. "Pack your bags."

"You busted," Nikki tells him.

"But, I don't wanna," he says, turning around in the hallways as Nikki steps back.

"Man you busted," Nikki tells him as he glares at her.

"While you at it, call a cab," I tell him as the tears start falling fasters now.

"A cab for what?" He asks me.

"You busted Nick," Nikki says, as I push him up against the wall.

"It's obvious, you playing around," I tell him as he shakes his head at me.

"No I'm not," he tells me, still shaking his head.

"Man quit lying, you busted," Nikki tells him as she uses her finger to push his forehead back.

"Go upstairs and get your shit!" I scream at him

"No!" He cries, holding his head down now.

"And get the fuck up outta here!" I shout again as he just lets his tears flow.

"No baby, I'm innocent, innocent innocent," he says over and over.

"No you're guilty guilty guilty you're guilty," I tell him, holding a straight face.

"Ohhh now, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute," he says, looking at me as I turn around and walk back to my previous spot in the living room with Nikki following me.

"Go up there and get your shit Nick!" I turn and shout at him. "And get the fuck up outta here!"

"Tell me, where am I supposed to go from here?" He asks me, wiping his eyes now.

"Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn," I tell him as I sat down in the chair near the window and Nikki sat next to me and held me as I cried.
