This is the first time I'm writing a story, so please let me know what you think and if you'd like me to continue this love story. Any feedback or ideas are more than welcome, I love to get in touch.

This story is based on my own current situation and therefore non-fictional. I don't know yet how the story is gonna turn out in the end but it might turn into some of my fantasies, just ask me whether it's true or not if you'd like too!

Chapter I

"The start of something new?"

It's 4:11PM, I just got out of the shower and changed into my work outfit. A simple black super skinny jeans, a denim shirt with the restaurant logo on it, black nike's and I'm taking my black apron with me in my backpack.

I am a 22-year old boy, blue eyes, dark brown hair, a slightly gingerish beard (which is shaped perfectly). I'm 5'10, athletic build and always up for a good chat.

I say goodbye to my parents, grab my cruiser and walk out the backdoor. I start skating out of my ally heading towards the city centre. I'm living in a small place. They call it a city but to me it's not that much of a city, it's nothing like the big places I use to go too. Anyways within 15 minutes I arrive at the restaurant. I grab my board and walk in.

"Hi handsome, how are ya?" I say to my colleague Bas who's working at the bar and give him a smile.

We know each other since High School and always Joke around even though he's straight. I always found him attractive but never really bothered, we just get along really well!

"Hi Damian, Good good, how are you doing?"

"I'm fine thanks, just work you know."

It's Thursday evening which is the evening I usually close off the restaurant. My shift starts at 5PM but if you want to, you can have dinner at 4:30PM so you are ready for the evening.

I'm walking towards the staff dinner table which is right next to the kitchen. I walk into the kitchen and say Hi' to everyone. But there is one person in particular that I'm looking for, Dylan. He looks at me, gives me one of his amazing smiles and says Hi' back to me. This makes me smile and even blush a little, I quickly turn around and take place at the dining table where my colleague Naomi is smiling and looking at me with that look.

"Stop it, Stop it right now!" I say and giggle.

So let's take it back a couple of months. It's summertime, really busy at the restaurant. After a long day of work, I finally finish and have a drink with some of my colleagues. Out of nowhere this new guy joins us, Dylan. Everyone seems to know him already except from me, so I ask Naomi who's that?

"That's Dylan. He is the new guy working in the kitchen, he's really nice."

From the moment I saw him I knew there was something about him, I didn't knew what yet, but I liked it. I introduced myself and we had a little chat. After an hour or so, Dylan left to catch his train. After he left I joked to Naomi "He's definitely Bisexual, the least!". She looks at me and starts laughing and we keep on joking.

Weeks go by and in no time everyone was joking about me and Dylan being a couple, including me and him. Whenever I walked in and saw him I said

"Hi babe, how you doin'?", on which he replied

"I've missed you honey, glad you're back!".

Days went by and I noticed that every time I saw him on work I just started to feel real happy and started to enjoy going to work a lot more as well.

I broke up with my ex a few months before. It was a toxic relationship which I totally lost myself in. I gave way too much of myself and didn't got a lot back. In the end he cheated on me. Even though I was the one who finally cut it off and started to take care of myself, I was devastated.

I knew I wanted to get more in touch with Dylan but I didn't really knew how to say that to him. So I started joking again and made a comment about swapping numbers on which he said

"Be creative, it's not going to be that easy." He looked at me with that smirk on his face, which I totally adore, so for me the game was on.

"Fine, You want creative, you'll get creative. Game is on!". I grinned.

I brought some plates with food to different tables and in the meantime I was thinking about how I would make this work.

I ended up making a riddle. I wrote it down on a paper plane but I can't really remember what it was. It had something to do with "If you want find the way to my heart search between the lemons." Obviously I didn't make it that easy but I had hidden a note between the lemons in the refrigerator. So I threw the paper plane towards him, he catches it and started smiling. He was pretty busy preparing plates with food at that moment so he didn't had time to look at the note right away. He thought I just wrote my number down on there but I wasn't going to make it easy for him either.

In the end he figured out to look between the lemons and found the note. This note contained a map I drew from the restaurant. I marked a certain spot where I hid another note. That note contained my number.

I was enjoying this way to much, I felt like a 13-year old but I loved doing it. After some time he finally found the note and came up to me.

"I have to say, you did an amazing job. This was more creative then I could've thought of."

"Well you wanted me to be creative so there you go man."

Although he had my number he never texted me. So here and there I joked about it and in the end he told me he thought it was getting all to real. So I thought this was it and I kinda let go of it.

So back to the dinner table where I'm trying to get my head ready for another night of work. Obviously I'm sitting next to Dylan, we were having a little chat but nothing special. Then out of nowhere this guy from the kitchen says

"Is it going to be a tender, loving kiss? Or more like a rough thing?".

He looks at me and Dylan. I'm kinda confused and we both just start laughing.

"What are you talking about?" I get out.

"At the company trip! After some drinks you guys are definitely going to kiss!"

I just look at him and shake my head.

About a month ago the owner of the restaurant announced our company trip. We had no idea what were gonna do yet but everyone knew it would be a fun day. Soon enough people started joking about me and Dylan having to kiss that evening, people even made bets on it. We just laughed at it and I never really took it any serious, although I kinda liked the thought about kissing with him, but I would never let anyone know that.

I had been out since I was 13-years old. Everyone knew about it and everyone was really cool with it. You wouldn't really tell I was gay until you got to know me and hear me joke about it, but otherwise I can say I'm a manly guy.

As the evening goes on we just joke here and there and throughout the weeks Dylan and I are really getting to know each other a lot better and start to bond as friends a little bit.

The day was finally there. We were getting together in front of the restaurant at 1:45PM. The bus would departure at 2 so everyone was making sure to be in time. Everyone was excited and all the girls really did their best to dress up and obviously I did my best too to stand out.

It was a Monday and the restaurant would be closed for the day. The bus arrived and everyone was lining up to get into the bus. Should I go and sit next to Dylan? I'll just walk in and see what happens. I keep talking to myself in my head about what to do. I should just enjoy this day and things will go the way just as they are suppose to happen. So that's what I did, I got onto the bus and let go of everything...
