What if...

Do you ever wonder what would have happened if you had or hadn't done some thing? This story answers that very question. Some people say that when you make a decision there's another world where the choice you didn't take plays out. When Jc chooses to not do something another world plays out the outcome if he had done it. (Its like Sliding Doors kind of thinks, only what he doesn't do is different and the consequences are different.) What happens if the two worlds some how colloid? And does one decision really make any difference at all in how things turn out?

Disclaimer: I don't own any one of the people in the group *N SYNC or anyone that has anything to do with *N SYNC. I don't know their sexual preferences, nor do I claim to. This is just a FICTIONAL story by a girl who has a very vivid imagination.

PROLOGUE:

"I miss you to baby." Jc replied to his girl friend of 6 months. "I'll see you soon I promise baby. I love you too. Bye Hun." Jc smiled. He snapped his cell phone shut and sighed contently. He smiled to himself; at that moment in his life everything was perfect. He had a job he loved to do, he was the best friends anyone could everyone could ever ask for and girl friend who couldn't get enough of him. What more could a guy ask for?

"Happy Jc?" Justin teased. Jc looked at him and smiled.

"What do you think J?" he asked raising his eyebrows.

"I think it's not fair. I want your life. Mines stupid." Justin pouted.

"Yeah because having millions of girls all over the world would really suck." Chris said sarcastically.

"Trust me it does." Joey sighed, shaking his head.

"How would you know Joey?" Chris teased.

"What do you mean? I'm Justin, I used to date Britney Spears, I used to have a scary hair style, I'm lead singer for *N SYNC and am never wrong." Joey replied confused.

"Oh stupid me. I'm sorry Justin forgive me." Chris said with the most serious expression he could muster with out smiling.

"It's ok. You made a mistake, could have happened to anyone...well besides me that is because I'm perfect and don't make mistakes." Joey replied solemnly. Chris stated laughing.

"You suck I didn't laugh." Joey said throwing a pillow at Chris.

"I'm sorry but the look on your face was priceless." Chris apologized. Jc laughed as he saw his friends teasing each other. He smiled as he watched Chris hit Joey with a pillow which cause Joey to through one at Chris. But Chris had run for cover behind Justin, so Justin go hit with it. Which caused him to try to hit Joey that led to a pillow war between the three friends. He looked around the front of the bus and noticed Lance wasn't there. He frowned slightly. Where was he? He decided to ask the guys, maybe he had told them where he had run off to.

"Guys? Where's Lance?" He asked interrupting the free-for-all that was accruing.

"His bunk probably." Chris answered quickly before ducking a hit from Justin.

"Thanks." Jc replied hoping up and walking towards the back of the bus. He stumbled and fell into Lance's bunk as the bus hit a bump. Oh yeah he'd rather have Lance then his girl friend that was it. Lance looked up sleepily up at his intruder.

"Sorry about that, bump." Jc said embarrassed. Lance smiled up at him.

"No prob. So now that I'm up what did ya want?" Lance replied.

"Oh I was just wondering where you were 'cause you weren't in the front with the rest of those retards." Jc laughed.

"I heard that!" he heard Justin yell from the front of the bus. Jc and Lance both laughed.

"Um Josh?" Lance asked after the laughter had stopped. Jc's eyes sparkled in the dim light of the bunk.

"Could you please move? I can't feel my arm anymore." Lance smiled. Jc's eyes' lost their sparkle and his smile faltered a little, but she recovered quickly and laughed.

"Sure Scoop." He smiled. He heart fell about 5 stories but he didn't show it. I should get a fucking Acadamy Award for this he thought to himself as he rolled off Lance fell onto the floor.

"Owe." Jc pouted, rubbing the spot on his back met the hard, thin carpeted floor.

"Jc are you ok?" Lance asked poking his head out and looking down at the brunette. Jc looked up at him and smiled.

"I'm fine, but my back...that's another story." He laughed.

"Well Josh if your back is still attacked to your body, and I think it is, then you're not ok." Lance laughed and offered his hand to Jc to help him up.

"Oh technicalities." Jc grinned when Lance rolled his eyes at the comment.

"Whatever smart ass." He replied. Jc just grinned. The two of them walked backup to the front of the bus to hang out with the rest of their friends for the remainder of the trip. Once they reached their hotel Justin, Chris, Joey, Jc and Lance decided to go clubbing as a celebration of the last stop of their Celebrity tour.

In the wee hours of the mourning Jc and Lance were staggering into their hotel room, totally smashed.

"No see the fairy because he was picking up...something and bopping it on the head." Lance explained as he flopped onto his bed.

"Oh it get it, that's why she turned him into a goon." Jc said finally getting the concept.

"Geese what are you blonde Jc?" Lance laughed.

"Hey I like my hair color the way it is!" Jc defended, not getting what Lance was saying. Lance smiled at Josh and walked over to where Jc was sitting on his bed. He knelt down in front of him and ran his figures through Jc's hair.

"I like your hair too." He whispered. Jc smiled and leaned towards Lance. He stopped when he was an inch from Lances lips.

"Thanks yours isn't so bad either." He breathed softly. Next thing either of them knew they were both leaning in...
