March Stephenson
Chapter 63
Maxieplus
We sat outside May's in the sun and Mason was running from her place and back to the table to make sure we didn't forget about him, he was also checking in on 'Hank'. Mum put a stop to it and gave me a dish of coco pops for him to try. After placing him on my knees I proceeded to feed him, he likes these things very much, but I did worry about the sugar content. An old car pulled up and March went to see the driver, they knew each other because he waved and then climbed into his truck and drove the man back home. I had no idea how I was going to get that sheep up to the library, maybe mum could help me. In the end, March wasn't too far away and he helped. I was quick this time I grabbed Mason and he stared at me and then he screamed.
"No, Daddy!" The snickering coming from March and May's corner was blatant.
"I'll take the sheep then."
I started walking up the road and I heard March sing out.
"You forgot 'Hank'
"Get stuffed March Stephenson."
So I am losing today, let's hope I have more luck when we get home because he's not getting away with it.
Louise wasn't impressed as I rolled my eyes, and she made me leave the sheep outside. She told Mason they liked it out there, he could show his mates then he had to do some playing.
Back at the cafe, he decided to do some work, dad had already parked the old car inside and had started the service. March stood at his workbench and continued with the Mini's engine. I went to clean the toilets and do some washing, then refilled the coffee machine and stacked more water in the fridge. May does well with it, and for the umpteenth time I wondered how much money she has earned over the past years, she would be rolling in it, especially from her tea sales. I sat at my desk and did some emails then I looked up caring for sheep sites. It was confusing me so the local page was opened and I searched in there, plenty of tips and March was right, they do look after themselves mostly.
One trip to the shed and a play school pickup saw our day nearly over. March picked his client up and he was happy with the service, he came across the road and dumped more checks into May's handbag, the cash he would store at home.
One very excited little boy ran around the backyard screaming when he spied the real big woolly sheep in the back. Ethan had dropped it off with two bales of hay. Although the gorgeous beast was running away from Mase, he kept trying to catch it. It was named 'Sheep', I didn't argue. If that's the name he chose then so be it. March took his hand and slowly walked up to it, he could pet him now, and they can bond. Sunny was no sheepdog, he barked for a few minutes then he must have decided he liked them, so he kept quiet and watched his mate talk to it.
"When are the chooks arriving March?"
"As soon as the coop is built, Ron knows what we want."
The phone call from Faith was pure panic, she was worried we wouldn't come to the farm again and wanted to put a stop to all this nonsense. I laughed and reassured her we would be coming out as usual, and we only wanted a few animals for Mason so he could get used to country life.
I set my camera up on the tripod and focussed it. I will take multiple shots just to try it out. March looked on, he was intrigued by my skills but I suspect he was looking at my ass.
"Come on Mase, tub time." He called out.
"Cummings" He yelled back. He didn't appear and I could see him still patting his new playmate and talking to him, or her. Eventually, he screamed up onto the porch and dropped his shorts and nappy. I lifted him in and then set the camera to auto. This way I will get many shots without the effort of getting out and in the tub to take a photo. Everything was going smoothly and I sat in March's lap while Mason played with his ducks from his tub seat. The camera snapped away and now and then a flash was seen. We weren't having sex in the tub we were just kissing a lot, with some fondling thrown in. I stood up and got out, I then stood behind March and started giving his shoulders a massage.
"That's nice Nicky,"
"I like doing this for you March, your shoulders are very knotted." He started lifting himself to sit on the lip of the tub.
"March grab Mason he's trying to get out of the chair!" I used my panicked voice.
He half stood up, and then he grabbed and tickled Mase, he leaned back into March giggling and my husband's body was in full view... Click.
It was the best photo I had ever set up, my naked ass was in full view. March's perfect naked body was full on and Mason's face was filled with laughter. The best thing I hadn't planned on was the water from the tub had splashed up and it and Mason's head had covered March's adequate naughty bits, his awesome body popped, and luckily it included his treasure trail and enough pubes for the ladies to swoon over, his chest was magnificent. There was no way that anyone could see anything rude in that perfect photo. I was covered, but my ass and body were on full display as I had turned to the side, and so was my evil grin looking straight into the camera. I won't show him this one, there were a lot of really good photos taken to choose from, but this one will feature in the calendar. I will now have to set up another shoot at the garage, just to throw him off the scent.
"We can use this one, Nicky, it's beautiful look at Mase's little smile." He picked a few shots he was okay with, a lot of them were showing rude bits but a lot weren't.
"I think you are right March, but they want us in the gym or garage."
"I like this one." He tapped the photo on my screen.
"You're right, that one is sexy, but also very nice." I had hidden the main one, he will never know.
Later on, I sent it to Brenda, she sent back a message.
'OMG! Why do you do this to me Nicky? That is perfect. A little risky, but bloody perfect.'
'Do not show anyone, especially March, he hasn't seen it yet.'
'My lips are sealed, you have made my year, you all look so delicious'
'Well I guess that handsome husband of yours will be getting some tonight'
'You bet he will' I closed my phone down so prying eyes don't go snooping. I had also asked her about dad's photo and my being in it.
'Nicky, the ladies expect you to be in it. Although he's a real spunk, I think you are a little more popular.'
I took my big head to the kitchen and dished up some food for us, corned beef, I have been taking lessons from mum. It was a big hit and March had plenty of leftovers, he took a photo and sent it to May, the usual banter came from her and March laughed a lot.
"After we put Mase to bed can you do my shoulders again?"
"You bet I will." I licked my lips. Mason was put to bed after he had to say goodnight to 'Sheep' he tried to entice him into the play house but he wanted to rest up at the back of the yard.
"See, they find their perfect spot quite quickly Nicky."
"I get it, but don't come crying to me if he gets a chill."
As my son slept away I received a good going over from my husband, his shoulders felt a lot better and he took me to a higher level as I held onto them.
I played with the photo on my laptopp at work, it wasn't perfect and I did zoom in a few times just to check I was right about rude bits. I was showing a hint of knob so I fuzzed it out. The finished product was awesome and I will have it blown up after the calendar comes out. I put it in a hidden folder I will be using just for the calendar then I had a thought and wrote it in beside Joel's name. I knew I had to do Hank and Tom's at the river, the part with the willow trees, and I still had to go and see Mark and his daughter Lily.
I rang Tom and talked to him about the shoot, he suggested they wear nude-colored bikini underwear, I wanted tighty whites so they would sag when wet. Tom was like me the more risk the better, but he won't be showing any rude bits because Hank may get upset. I reassured him it would be all on the up and up, we weren't making a porn model calendar.
At lunchtime, I rang Mark and asked him if I could come around after he got home from work. He said that would be okay and he will word Lily up because she sometimes gets over excited when surprised. I told March where we would be going and he, of course, would be coming with me.
"Nicky, can I talk to you in the shed for a minute?"
"Umm, more lip service March, you got it bad today?"
"No, Nicky. Although that would be awesome, I want to talk to you in real private."
"Lead the way." I directed him to the shed.
I sat on the bench and he kissed me gently.
"Now what's up?"
"Lily, I need to talk to you about Lily. I didn't want to, but May said I should warn you."
"What's wrong with her March? Mark said she gets a bit excited when she meets people."
"She has downs Nicky, I don't know how you would feel about it."
"What would I feel March, except love and protection? I have worked with many people with downs,"
"It's just I don't like to talk about it, but Lily is exceptional the first thing she will want to do is hug you, so don't get shocked or anything."
"How little you know about me, March Stephenson. Is that why her mum left?"
"Yes Nicky one of the reasons, she's only mildly down's but it does show. Louise works at the school part time and she was telling me that she's doing really well in class. She will never be top of the class but would win a popularity contest if they ever held one. She is lucky where they live, there are loads of kids her age to play with, so she's treated like everyone else there."
"And Mark?"
"He's the best daddy in town, there is nothing he wouldn't do for her. The town supports both of them. Brenda got him a small housing commission home, he pays minimum rent because his job doesn't pay a lot. He gets help Nicky so don't think he's on his own."
"So what's the attraction with him other than the big dick rumor?"
"Lily, everyone loves her, and what woman doesn't like a man who is very much in touch with his feelings and family."
"Not his ex March."
"She was an exception in town Nicky, she wasn't born here. She came to town when she was around 13, so she didn't even try to fit in. Nicky, I have said too much please don't get a shock when you see her?"
"Never March, and thank you for telling me." I knew exactly what I was going to do and I think Lily will know also.
I could hear Mason calling out to us, so I guess that mouth-watering action I was going to get wasn't happening at the moment. I went to see what he wanted and 'Hank' had broken down, one of his wheels had fallen off. His daddy sat him on a stool at the work bench and changed his tyre showing his son how it's done. Mark isn't the only good daddy in town, I could mention quite a few names and March Stephenson would be on top of my list.
She was very affectionate and wanted many kisses from March, myself, and Mason. A little lady with long dark hair that shone with hints of amber, she was adorable and so pretty. Coffee and cake were offered and Mark and March talked about their jobs and I noticed the little house was tidy. Although Lily's speech was slow she held a conversation with me as soon as we sat down.
"Now young lady, your daddy tells me you have some ideas." She giggled and then hugged me.
"Go get your ideas book pumpkin and show Uncle Nicky." She hopped off the chair and Mason followed her. Within moments they both came back and sat with us, I had to lift Mason onto his. The exercise book was placed in front of me and I opened the first page. I wasn't surprised at all and leaned in and said.
"You like fairies don't you?"
"Yes Uncle Nicky I love them."
"I see you also love Frozen the movie."
"Yes, it's awesome." Her book was full of clippings of fairies, Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and the other assorted cartoon characters.
"Okay, can we talk in private now?'
"Yes come to my room, is that okay Daddy?"
"Of course pumpkin."
I followed her and Mason followed me, we sat on the bed and she went crazy with ideas, my head was spinning. The giggling started not long after, she wanted her daddy to dress as Olaf the snowman. I thought he would look better dressed as the handsome prince, she liked that idea also. Then we talked about fairy dresses and elves, she loved that also. We had to have a fashion show because she had some dress-ups in her wardrobe, so I sat and watched this little angel play. Mason ended up with a fairy skirt and I think he was going to claim it. It was decided that fairies were the best, and now I have to find a setting. I must go to the clearing and see if it's ready to be photographed.
We had a great time and we promised we would return soon because we had to have a costume fitting. I was on to Rose the minute we got home.
'Get that sewing machine out my friend, one very pretty fairy dress and one awesomely sexy one." She laughed because she instantly knew who they were for.
"Try the gully, it's very lush at the moment Nicky."
"I will go and look tomorrow, I don't think the clearing is back yet not until spring next year, so March says." I never thought about the gully but I have never been down to see it either. I then rang Brenda and warned her that some of the shots wouldn't be all about the subject's work. She laughed and said.
"Whatever."
I am almost organized, one photo in the can, and I believe Faith is having another family luncheon where all her boys will be attending. I think she's more worried she may have lost her precious other family to Mason's mini farm.
'Sheep' was grazing away in the back yard, and Mason who was on 'Hank' again was watching closely. I know he wants to ride him or her, but March had a long talk to him about it, but he still wants a ride.
March was looking at my notes and he commented now and then.
"What are you going to do with the farmers Nicky?"
"I don't know March, I have to talk to them and see if they have any ideas in mind."
"Well the Jones boys will go nude for you, they are certainly an unruly lot."
"You reckon?" I grinned.
"Stop it, if you think you're going to the Jones farm without me think again.
They almost walk around nude every day, and only dress to come into town."
"Really? I don't know them."
"That argument at the medal ceremony that everyone was laughing at, that was the Jones boys."
"They don't get along?"
"Yes they do, but wherethere'ss a girl involved it's everyman for himself."
"Are they hillbillies March?'
"No, all of them went to college, and the three of them get along good, but girls do things to them."
"Younger or older than you March?"
"Younger Nicky, their father is the one that the females like the most."
"Umm."
"Forget it Nicky, he is a widower, so I guess the ladies are more attracted him."
I started imagining all four of them naked riding on top of a bull.
"I have to meet them and get their ideas."
"We can do that on the weekend Nicky. I will bring my whip."
"You have a whip?"
"Yes Nicky, for protection."
"Oh." I wondered if March's whip was one of those big long ones or one that jockeys use.
We did our usual thing and tubbed it, I insisted Mason come and sit with us but he was too intrigued with 'sheep' so I got a very blunt.
"No!"
Sunny, wasn't excited about the woolly animal, he followed me and when Mason realized he was missing he followed three minutes later.
My calendar is filling up nicely I will talk to Jack and he and Cory can get together at a time agreed on. The more photos I take early the better, then I'm not rushing around at the last minute. 'Sheep' had to be fed, so March showed Mase how to make sure he or she had plenty of water and food, then it was time for a bath and then bed. One last check and he was tucked up with his horse, birds, and stuffed sheep, plus the cows and other assorted animals on his wall.
"Do you think he might go into farming March?" I asked as we lazed on the sofa.
"No Nicky, all kids love animals, he's lucky because he has some already. Farming is hard work, you don't just sit on the porch and watch things grow."
"Yes I know that, but he is very eager to look after them."
"He will lose that Nicky, once he gets to school he won't bother with them too much."
"Oh."
"And anyway, he's going to be a mechanic like his dad."
"Or work in the gym, like his other daddy."
"He shows no interest in your work Nicky, otherwise he would be spending more time in there." I guess he does spend a lot of time with March and dad, I don't know what he will be when he grows up. I want him to stay a little boy forever.
Many a thought has been proven wrong, and I was wrong on so many counts in the morning. Whatever happened to my little boy overnight is anyone's guess, the tantrum lasted up until it was time to go to work. 'Sheep' wanted to go with us today, not the stuffed one, but the real one. Mason insisted he had told him he wanted to go and see his play schoolmates. He ran out the back and tried to entice him to come and get into March's truck. I tried to explain he was happy just to sit at home and wait for him to come back, he still insisted he wanted to come. A screaming kid and a laughing husband were placed into the truck, there would be no running today. It settled down a little when the music was played, but he still wasn't happy.
"Nana,"
"In a minute baby."
"No, NOW!"
I looked at March and mouthed, Help'
He grabbed Mason and walked him across the road, my kid was laughing.
Mum had him on her knees when I got there, and he was complaining about not being able to bring 'sheep' to work. I got so fed up with his wining that I yelled.
"Mason Patrick Stephenson, stop it now. Be a good boy 'sheep' is happy where he is.
"Not!" I lifted my hand, a move that always shuts him up.
"Nicky! you weren't going to slap him were you?"
"You know I wasn't March, but he doesn't know that."
"Come with me baby, let's go see Uncle Jack."
He glared at me but he did shut up, he had pushed it too far this morning.
I placed him on the pavement and we started walking up the street. Jack was out the front setting up, and he and Mason greeted each other like they were old friends. Mason ran inside, he loves all those pretty colors and likes playing with the balloons, which will distract him.
"Jack, I need to set a time and date for the photo, is Cory still in for it?"
"Yes Nicky, anytime after school will do, he's here most days."
"Good, have you had any ideas, no nudes Jack I warn you."
"Cory suggested shorts and tanks,"
"Okay, I think we can do better than that," I looked up at the ceiling and yes it can be done, then I looked at the array of costumes he had hanging on one wall.
"I have some ideas, I will get back to you." Pop, pop, and pop, and one giggling little boy and four busted balloons later I walked him outside.
"Hey Stephenson control your unruly kid, he's destroying my business," Jack yelled out to March. My laughing started about then.
Such is life, and when March placed him on his knees he wanted him to have something to eat, he was going to talk to him about bursting balloons. Mason listened, mum placed her hand over her mouth she was trying not to giggle.
All of a sudden, his arms were at the ready and I heard.
"Daddy, me."
"He wants the nice daddy."
I took Mase and suggested he have a small bag of chips, he was happy to graze on them as I smirked... winner.
"What set him off, Nicky?" Mum asked.
"Who knows, he just woke up grumpy."
"It happens, I remember my mornings with you. I wasn't allowed to even look at you sideways when you were his age."
"How did you handle it?" She lifted her hand and slapped my leg.
"Easy." She laughed.
Mason's day got a lot better when we dropped him off at play school, we knew Louise wouldn't put up with his nonsense, like Brenda who runs a tight ship.
He happily greeted his mates and then he started playing with the blocks, I think he's building a barn today.
March and dad were working on the Mini engine, he told me there would be six cars in before the weekend and I told him I was going for a walk over the road to May's cafe.
"Calendar business March, so it's a secret."
"Oh, okay, don't be long." He winked.
When I got to the cafe I bought a big roll of tin foil, that would do the job.
I let March know that I was going to sit in the gym then I grabbed my scissors.
I had seen this trick ages ago, stage glitter made out of tin foil cut up into small bits. My next trick was how to deliver it so it sprays all over Jack and Cory. I found a big plastic bag and filled it with the foil.
I had been so into cutting it up (it was like therapy), that I hadn't noticed March poke his head in. I guess it's that time of day again.
"He's asleep in the Mini, Nicky, we got time for a quick one?"
"Of course we have, follow me sir." I wiggled my ass at him, he growled.
Lunchtime was a bit full on, I think everyone was in town today and May was again sitting out the front with little Rosie, she was in a bouncy seat that was hanging from the overhead porch. She looked so cute and didn't quite know how it all worked, but when she saw us she got excited and she bounced. That brought some giggles to her face. Mason tried to show her but even he couldn't work it out properly, but he managed to give her a good ride.
"It's to strengthen her legs," May said.
"She can't even crawl May." March laughed.
"Well, she will know what her legs are for when she starts using them."
"And pigs fly." He responded.
"Nicky, March is picking on me again!"
"Leave May alone March, you're such a bully sometimes." I grinned.
"Now baby what would you like for lunch?"
"Roast Nicky."
"Two roasts it is." I got up to order a couple.
"I'll have one too Nicky." May called out.
"Three coming up, two large one small."
When I got back, I told March I would be going to the sports store in the bigger town tomorrow did he want me to pick something up?
"I will be coming with you Nicky."
"Calendar business March"
"Still going with you."
"Don't pout." I lifted my hand to him.
We can leave early I will need five colored jocks for Ethan and his sons. I can get some white Y front hipsters locally for Hank and Tom, better still I will get Tom to buy them all, he can give me the docket and I will hand it over to Brenda for payment. I will search the Jones boy's Facebook page later on, and Nudge already has gym stuff, his kids will need something, though I think they might have some spare shorts somewhere, which gave me another idea.
"May where did you buy Rosie's seat from?"
"The toy shop has them Nicky, this one was a present from Jason's sister, why?"
"Calendar material baby."
It was all coming together and I know John the owner of the pub will want something vanilla with his three daughters, his photo in last year's calendar was just him behind the bar, he looked hunky but I could have done a better job. I got a flash image, so I will talk to him about it tomorrow, and get his ideas.
I thought I was doing great but I still only had the one photo reserved.
I rested in the afternoon, my baby was napping and his pal Sunny was watching. I trolled the Jones page those are some serious guys and March was right, they do like to put it out there. Some of the shots done around the farm were mainly shirtless bodies in jeans very nice.
I was sitting quietly when Nudge and Joel came in, they smiled at me and I grinned back.
"No nudes Nicky," Joel said.
"Of course not Joel, why would you think I would do that?"
"Because we know you."
"How old are your girls Nudge?"
"Five and seven why."
"Just setting up a shot in my head that's all."
"Well keep it clean."
"I will, don't stress. Do you own a well worn jock?"
"Nicky!" Busted, my man had poked his head in, he had heard me.
When I asked the guys to keep an eye on Mason I was marched across the road for afternoon tea, before I left Nudge whispered.
"I have several colors Nicky, you choose."
"Nudge!" March laughed.
We had just settled when Joel carried Mase over, and he fell into my arms. I stroked his head and off to nap he went again.
The local page was lighting up, there had been a sighting.
'I wonder what she wants?'
'No idea but it will be no good, I saw her looking at the house across the road.'
'Do you think she will move here?'
'I will give mum a ring at work she will know.'
'Does March know?'
'He does now'
I went inside after handing my son over to March.
"Mum any news on Annie, she's been seen in town."
"Who saw her?"
"It's on the local page."
"I will ring my friend, give me a minute son. I have to get these orders ready first."
If that bitch thinks she can move here then she's got another thing coming. I won't stand for it and I doubt the town would either.
March was talking to Michelle, Joel's wife when I got back, he then took his phone out and looked at it. She told me her mum runs the local real estate and yes a Mrs, Shore is looking for a cheap house locally.
"Mum said she only has two homes on her books and they are out of her price range. She's trying to talk her into looking in the next big town."
"Thank her for me"
"She will do her best, to steer her well away from this town Nicky."
March smiled and said.
"The town will look after us Nicky, and you need to reinstate that AVO."
"What have you decided to do with Joel and the boys Nicky, I can't wait to see the photo." I won't tell her what I had in mind so I gave her the dressed-down version.
"Father and sons playing tug of war in his workshop. No nudes just shorts and tanks."
That's a bit boring."
I winked at her.
"Oh. you're up to something?"
"Yes." I left it at that and kept a tight lip.
Coffee arrived with a smiling mum.
"She's looking at moving to this area, her home is up for sale she has no money. She thinks the properties are cheaper up here but she's sadly misinformed. My friend is keeping an eye on her, and Michelle is right, there are only the two properties for sale in town, the estate out the highway is too expensive for her to build so that's out of the question."
"Nicky take Mason." He handed my now awake baby over, then May took him off me.
"I won't be a minute." He smiled and left us, I watched him walk up the street. He wasn't very sexy today those overalls are looking baggy on him.
'Where's he going Nicky?" Michelle asked.
"Probably to see your mum, he would be making sure Annie doesn't get her hand on any properties around here."
"Do you think he will buy them?"
"Not sure, but he may slip your mum a few dollars to take them off the market." I started giggling.
I had no idea what he was up to, Michelle took little Rosie and started talking to her, she told me she would have loved a little girl, but she wouldn't trade her boys for anything.
"You still have time." I smiled.
"Over it Nicky. If it happens again, it happens. But I am convinced if I have another baby it will still be a boy."
"You never know you may be blessed again." I smiled.
March swaggered back, he had done something evil I can tell.
"So what did you do?"
"I just made your mum's day Michelle, I bought two homes."
"Just like that, you bought houses?" I snapped my fingers.
"Yes Nicky, now there's nothing for sale in town."
"Wouldn't it have been a better idea to talk to me first?"
"No Nicky, I knew it was the right thing to do, and you would have tried to convince me otherwise."
I didn't get mad with him, but I did want to ask if I was going him halves.
I will do that later on in the privacy of our own home.
"I know the houses and didn't even have to look at them,"
"Okay, I trust you."
"They will be rented out to people we know, and if anything comes on the market before that woman buys something, we will be buying it also."
Dad had arrived and he was looking at March, I had already filled him in, but he did say.
"Or I will buy them March, why should you have all the fun?"
"You can buy our place, Lance." Michelle smiled.
"I think your husband would be thinking differently Michelle."
"Just joking, there's no way we would move from here. Okay got to go, talk to you all later, school pick up time."
"Good luck, I will be seeing your boys and husband soon." I sang out.
"No hints?" She yelled back.
"None, what so ever." I laughed.
