March Stephenson
Chapter 84
Maxieplus.
I looked at my phone, there were so many messages. Forming the right words I sent a general one back, then I rang mum and Brenda. They had been waiting for my call, mum was happy it all worked out for Bobby, and Mason was sleeping with them tonight. I didn't want to disturb him so we headed for our home.
I sent Brenda a message to let her know we were on our way, I will ring her in twenty minutes. March had me in his arms as soon as the front door was closed behind us.
"I was so worried about you Nicky."
"Then don't be, the shock of it all made everything come back, but I can't know for sure whether it was the nightmares or the reality that made me act that way"
"Is he going to be okay?"
"Yes March they were kissing that last time I saw them. We have lift off,"
I smiled.
"Okay ring Brenda. Do you want something to eat?"
"A scone and gravy."
"Coming up, I'm starving."
"I doubt you would ever starve March Stephenson," I smirked, then went to ring Brenda.
"It's important we don't embarrass him. But something has to be said. This can't happen again, not in our town, not in any town."
"Nicky I have been toying with the idea of not mentioning the attempt but focussing on the prevention instead. Rumours will get around, we can't help that, and if his name is mentioned on the page. I will delete the post and give out a general warning."
"I agree, it's Bobby's business and hopefully he's in a better state of mind than he was earlier."
"He will survive that's the main thing, and we are all here to help him."
"You have a new nephew by the way."
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"His name is Bobby, sweet dreams my friend." I hung up. The phone rang and rang until she gave up. I sat chuckling with March eating Faith's enormous scones with gravy.
"Do you think he will come and live here?"
"No March, I think you will find Mike has a better idea." I winked.
"So you think he will move in with Mike?"
"I don't think baby, I know he will."
"That is so sweet." He smiled.
We went to bed after locking up and we made love, I needed him to be close to me tonight and I also needed to be kept warm.
I scratched my hair and opened my eyes he was staring at me, he told me he loved me and then he kissed me good morning.
"You're hungry again?"
"Yes." He laughed. I was up and about waiting for the kettle to boil when mum and dad came through the front door with my favourite son.
He ran for March first then me. Sunny was happy to be home again and went straight for the back door.
"He wouldn't go at our place, the pain must be killing him," Dad said.
"Well he's happy now."
"So tell me is he okay?"
"He is now. Mike came through in the end." I winked at mum.
"So he's gay too?" Dad asked.
"Yes dad, keep up," March said.
"When will they let him go home?"
"Probably today mum, I can't see why not. Sometimes they like to make sure they have a stable environment to go home to. If they don't, they are sent to a rehab clinic. I think Mike and his family will provide what's needed."
"Okay then if anything else turns up let me know."
She had to get to work and hugged us all. Then she and dad both left.
"I suppose we had better make tracks Nicky."
"I will just check Mason out then we go, get dressed March you're still in your underwear."
"Aww." He moaned.
"The shed within the shed March."
We were on the road before anything else happened. I flicked through the local page and still nothing had been said, except a post from Rose.
She talked about her sons and what they both mean to her. The unanswered questions that haunted her for years. The strength she drew from her community, and the new friendships she had formed. She talked about the children in her life who have to be guided, and the lessons she has learned from their decisions. At one stage, she talked about the signs of depression she had when she was deeply within herself and had nowhere to turn, nowhere to run. That was the killer, and my tears returned. She was talking about Bobby and how he felt. She had shifted it to herself.
It was an amazing read, and I noted it had been posted at four this morning, she must have been up all night composing it. I will read it again, when I get some time to myself.
"What's that you reading?"
"A letter from a mother. Rose posted it early this morning. Read it March. It's so
moving, and she touches on depression in an honest open way. I doubt Brenda will post anything now Rose has said it all."
"Did she mention anything?"
"No, but you can read between the lines that she's not talking about herself, she's talking about the tormented kids she has known."
"I will read it soon then."
"What the fuck is he doing here?" He pulled up outside the cafe, and sitting there was Mike talking to mum, dad and May. We got Mason out and he ran over to him, he took him up and they cuddled.
"Mike. What are you doing here?" March said.
"I had nothing better to do, and we are busy."
"What about Bobby?"
"He told me to piss off, so I did."
"What?" He started laughing.
"It was two this morning, he needed to sleep, so he told me to go home."
"I thought you would have stayed all night."
"No March. I am a very dutiful husband. I do what I'm told." He screamed laughing.
Then he added.
"Two burgers March and one for Nicky, what do you want tiger?" He tickled Mason.
"Fuck chippies Mike." I opened my mouth to say something but looked at March instead.
"You taught him that, now you unteach him immediately." March blushed
"Fuck chippies coming up." Mike ran inside laughing his head off. Mum shook her head and looked at me and said.
"He's so excited, he doesn't know what to do first."
"I can see that." I smiled.
"He will go back, but after lunch. Bobby should be ready by then."
"Is he coming out today?"
"Yes they will release him into Lenny and Ellen's care."
"Good,"
He came bouncing back with his arms full of food, he tossed two over to March then one each for dad and me. Mason had a double serving of gravy and mum and May got a small cake each.
"Thank you Mike do you want another job?" Mum giggled.
"That would be nice mum Wilson, but I better stay where I am. I'm still learning about freedom of expression from those two."
"I take offence to that statement Michael." March sat up.
"Sorry March, but you have taught me the most important lesson. How to be easy." He couldn't stop laughing he was so happy.
May was smiling but I could see there was still some worry in her expression.
"Did you read Rose's post?" She took her phone up and started reading. I noticed tears forming and I knew, she knew. Rose wasn't talking about herself in the latter half of her message.
I received a message from Brenda that read.
'That says it all Nicky, I will moderate Rose's post. Thank you.'
'Mike's here with us'
'I figured that one out eventually, but it would have been easier to tell me, thanks for the lack of sleep'
'You're welcome'
I smiled and watched Mike he was so happy.
Nudge and Jan arrived they pulled up a chair each and Jan said.
"Now you know what I was talking about, we dodged a bullet yesterday thank God."
"It was just a pity I was too late."
"You did all right Nicky, Joel said he was only up there for seconds and he had passed out."
"Well I think Rose's post is powerful, will there be any comments at work?" I looked at Nudge.
"Absolutely not. The guys will do right by him, and if there's anything he needs we are all behind him. Any word from his mum?"
"Yes." Mike said. We all looked at him, what now?
"She sent him a text, and said she will pick him up sometime today, then they will have a good talk."
"What happened?"
"It was tough for him, but he did answer telling her he wouldn't be coming home again. And for her not to worry too much about the kids and him, they will be fine."
"Did he get an answer?"
"No."
"Oh shit here comes trouble," May said.
As if on cue her car pulled up and Rachael got out, she almost stormed over to us and screamed.
"Where are my children?" She was looking at March.
"They are being well looked after Rach, why, were you concerned?"
"You know I live for my kids, where are they?"
He went to open his mouth but Mike stepped in.
"They are with my mum and dad, they have the full support of children's services, so don't go there making a fuss. Leave it to them."
"What the fuck has any of this got to do with you and your family?"
"Because hopefully. I am going to marry your son, he is going to get guardianship of his brother and sister, and you lady have a lot of making up to do before he even lets you near them again." Well, will you look at Mike, all grown up?
"Guardianship, he can't do that he's a..."
"Poofter?" March said.
"You know what I mean. I have to go and sort all this shit out now. What ward is Bob in?"
"He doesn't want to see you."
"He will see me. I'm his mother."
"And I am his fiancee and he won't be seeing you, we do talk."
"Fiancee, what kind of bull is that?"
"The kind that is real, you made a fatal mistake Rachael you should have guided him, not scared him half to death calling in that pastor. "
"He's not scared of me March."
"The noose around his neck said differently."
"You people are stupid, what the hell did I ever do to you?"
"You came back, that's what you did. So if you don't mind, would you leave again? But I warn you, the kids won't be going with you." Oh dear my husband is so forceful.
"I have to get to the hospital." She moaned a bit more, then she left.
"That felt good Nicky."
"Yes it did March, you are so forceful when you get going."
"I am aren't I, shed?"
"Oh yes please." I heard Mike laughing the loudest as we ran across the road, then I heard dad yell.
"I turned the heating on for you."
It lasted fifteen minutes, and then we made out some more.
"She will go to the hospital and make a fuss."
"Good I will make sure Hazel's there to witness any bullying, she will pass it onto children's services," He laughed.
"Bobby might cave in again."
"I doubt it Nicky, by the looks of Mike's gorgeous face Bobby knows what he's gaining, and I know who I would choose."
"March Stephenson have you been perving again?"
"Just sizing him up Nicky, doesn't hurt to know who to watch out for."
"And your assessment?"
"I have nothing to worry about Mr Stephenson." We kissed forever then returned to making ourselves feel good.
The cafe was busy, when we emerged from the garage. Mason was being played with and 'hank' waited for him to finish. I got us a coffee and March another roll. He has earned this one.
Rose and Tink had turned up and she had my eternal adoration once again.
Dad said he had better go and finish the job he was working on. Mike said he finished it at four this morning, he couldn't sleep. So no work today only gas to be pumped. Nudge and Jan sat with us for most of the morning and she held Rose's hand and thanked her. In fact, we all thanked her.
Lenny Ellen Gran and four kids also arrived and the air was full of love and friendships. The kids were excited to go and see Bobby, they wanted to ask him if they could have another sleepover. They haven't been told.
"We will slip it into the conversation March, when Bobbie's home and when he's settled in. Mike I have changed your sheets and made up the bed, I presume Bobby will be in your room?"
"Yes mum and thank you. I love you so much."
"And we all love you, and can't wait to love Bobby also."
"I have some news that will make you even happier Mike," Gran said.
"What gran?"
"I sold the property, they paid a premium price, so you get your loan paid off
and there's no repayment required."
"What? you are giving it to me? I must be the luckiest man in the world."
"I would say that's an understatement Mike, in the universe I would have said." March smiled.
He hugged his gran and offered her a cup of tea, then went to make it.
"Dad I must go, but can you come at one to sign him out?"
"Of course son, we will all be there. I feel like we have turned into the Brady bunch overnight."
"You will cope Lenny it's about time you did something for your community." I heard coming from March's direction.
"I take it back Stephenson, you're not easy, you're flipping well looney bins."
"Okay thank you gran, thank you dad. Thank you everyone your all invited to the wedding if he will have me." He was cheered and clapped as he headed for his car then he suddenly turned and bowed.
"My next performance is at three this afternoon."
"Be very careful Mike," I shouted.
I wasn't talking about his driving. I was referring to his take-off of my comedy skit. I have the copyright.
We started to order lunches, most of the crowd dispersed and Tink had been taken in the back for his drink. May went with Rose, and Mr and Mrs Nudge left. It took some time because they had a kissing spree with me, and now I have lost count. March had broken it up, he was almost spitting fire when they left. Ellen asked March what kind of boy Bobby was and he was truthful and honest. I have never heard March say such wonderful things about anyone except me. He truly has bonded with him as a kid so Ellen was happy with his response.
"Mike will be well looked after Ellen. Bobby has been in love with him for years."
"I don't care who loves my boy as long as he's loved Nicky. I will go with March's explanation and treat him like a son." I couldn't be happier.
They eventually left and after an hour and a half, I got a text from Mike.
'Settling him in now, I am competing with my mum, she's all over him. Tell March I am taking the afternoon off and I will see you tomorrow.'
I showed March the text and he stood up.
"Let's go home. Dad close up and go home."
"Right you are son."
"Mason get 'hank' let's go."
"Fuck fuck fuck Mike." He was singing.
"Do it soon March."
"Yes, Nicky." He also bowed.
We put more wood on the fire and the TV was switched on. Sunny was tired so he had a nap and Mason wasn't too far behind him. It had been a big two days and I was wrung out by the time I looked in the fridge.
"March can we get some fish and chips tonight, I didn't take anything out of the freezer."
Nothing.
"March?" Yes, he was dead to the world on the sofa.
I sat with him and nodded off, and we all had about two hours sleep.
It was six by the time I had washed my face and I sat at the table looking through the page, nothing had been said just the normal everyday posts.
"What are we having for dinner Nicky?"
"I thought fish and chips."
"Cool have you ordered them?"
"Not yet I was waiting for you to wake up."
"Okay. I am awake now so you can order it."
I laughed.
"Right, can you pick it up or do you want me to?"
"I can go Nicky, just order it."
"My God you must be hungry."
"I am," I ordered dinner and Mason came to sit on my knees.
"Fuck fuck fuck fuck."
"Truck truck truck truck dads truck Mikes truck dads truck Mikes truck."
Mason giggled, then mimicked him.
"That's it truck truck truck truck."
"Do you think that will work?"
"I don't see why not Nicky, truck truck dads truck Mikes truck," and he went on and on.
Hopefully, Mason will forget all about it and not embarrass us at the supermarket. I was sent a photo, Bobby and Mike were sitting on the bed they looked gorgeous. The message simply said. 'Thank you.'
Our dinner was delicious and we sat on the sofa to eat, Mason had his usual chips and March unusually didn't stuff himself silly. He had plans for me later on and didn't want to stuff it up.
The morning came with a miserable baby and a destroyed nappy. I moaned as I got out of bed to see what was wrong with the child. He was in a mess today and the sooner he's potty trained the better. I had no option but to hold him under the shower, the less said the better, but I hope he appreciated all the effort I took to make sure he was squeaky clean again.
"Is he okay Nicky?" March poked his head in.
"Yes baby, just an accidental cannon shot." I laughed.
"Oh, is the kettle on?"
"It will be when you get to the kitchen."
Mason was dressed in nice clean clothes for the day and March was sitting at the table I looked around and found my mug still sitting on the sink at least he had made it for me.
"What are you buying now?"
"Nothing Nicky, look at this post."
I took his phone and yes Rachael had done a mammoth job on March, warning of his sexual preferences and that she was worried about her children being around him
'Who knows what that pervert has been doing to them.'
"At least she didn't aim it at Mike or Bobby," He said.
"Shades of Annie March. I wonder why Brenda didn't take it down."
"There's a hundred replies and more coming in Nicky. You can guess what they all are saying."
"I will read them in a minute. How do you feel?"
"I feel fine Nicky, at least it's a solid admission of how she really feels about me, and her kids. And you know it's not true, and so does the town. I think she will be moving soon. I see Rose isn't too pleased, and Tom."
"Good, she can go live with Annie."
The comments were sincere and every one of them praised March's morals, and I only saw the soft 'Get out of town' so Brenda is deleting the worst ones. I looked at my phone and I had fifteen missed calls and loads of messages.
'We slept in because our son was sick during the night, he's just been cleaned up and now we are about to discuss potty training. Nothing to see here just a normal family going about their own business. Tips will be gratefully taken on board' I posted.
It rang.
"Tom good to hear from you my friend."
"No he's fine, it was expected she would try and defame one of us, she doesn't know me well. But she could have picked on Bobby or worse Mike."
"Yes she picked the softest one of the bunch."
"You do what you have to do, but I agree with you wholeheartedly."
"I will ring you later, got an incoming,"
"He sacked her March, he won't have someone like that working for his company."
"Good and so the walls crumble," I answered the incoming call, this will be interesting. I had to hold the phone away from my ear, the expletives were coming through thick and thin.
"Rose has just torn her a new asshole, and she's got a week to vacate the cottage," I told March. I didn't say a word to Rose, just put her on hold.
I laughed as I answered.
"Yes Mike?"
"He's fine want to talk to him?"
"Not at all, we expected something and thank god it wasn't directed at you or Bobby."
"I know, but I think March is playing catch up, he hasn't realised yet."
"Yes. I will tell him you will be in a little late."
"Have fun Mike,"
"I know you are."
"What was that all about?" March said.
"Screenshot her post March. It will come in handy at the guardianship meeting."
"I see that's why Brenda left it up."
"I think so, but also she wants people to see why Bobby was so stressed and driven to do what he did."
"Rose has kicked her out, and Tom has fired her, she has nowhere to go March. Sam will accompany Lenny to the cottage to collect the kid's belongings after he gets a court order. Mike will be a little late, he said he had something to do."
"Okay. What's for breakfast?"
"Not leftover chips March a good solid meal will be provided. How are you really?"
"Nicky, you are the strongest person I know. What you have been through in the past year would break anyone. I can't complain about some silly post I know isn't true. I won't fight with her publicly, but I will be strong for you as you are for me and Mason." He took me by the neck, pulled me in and kissed me deeply.
"Now what is for breakfast?"
"Ham and eggs with mushrooms."
"Perfect."
"And yes you get a double helping." I smiled.
"I didn't ring because I know what March's reaction would have been Nicky, he is alright isn't he?"
"Just fine mum, and you are very wise. It's water off a ducks back at our house. I feel sorry for Lenny he has to confront her sometime today, they need to get the kid's stuff out of the cottage."
"Is he taking Sam?"
"Yes mum, they will have a court order."
May's phone rang. She had a message for me.
"Rose wants you to know you still have her on hold." She pissed herself laughing.
Folks were out and about early this morning, we had just sat down for his second breakfast when the well-wishes came over to shake his hand, and offer their support. One offered to run her out of town and Jack sang out.
"Trust you to stir the hornet's nest Stephenson,"
"You're welcome Jack," March sang back.
Dad was laughing at the comments and I spied a tall almost unrecognisable young man walking up the street. If it wasn't for his dark blue eyes and the many handshakes he was stopped for. I would have thought Rick Conners the rock star was in town. Mike looked awesome, my jaw dropped as he smiled then went into the cafe. I could hear mum squeal as she hugged him.
"Mike's had a haircut."
"Where?" March looked around.
"On his head where else?" I smiled.
He looked amazing and I couldn't stop staring at him.
"Do you like it?"
"Flipping awesome Mike, you look so handsome."
"Nicky?" March reminded me not to get too excited.
"Bobby said I needed one, so here I am. Do you think he will like it?"
"Oh yeah, he will love it."
I started laughing again, good one Bobby you will pull him into shape in no time.
"Where is he Mike?"
"At home, he's taking the kids to school then mum is taking him to the hospital, he has to start talking to someone today."
"Are you worried?"
"Not in the least, he is one of the kindest loving people I know, and his head
is in an excellent place today. Which reminds me March, how does one give head?"
I nearly fell off the chair, dad pissed himself this time and March looked at my spunky friend and said.
"I wouldn't have a clue Mike, ask May?"
"What?" She screamed.
"Nicky!!"
"March behave yourself." I slapped his arm.
"With that image. I will be off to do some work." Dad got up.
"I won't be long dad Wilson."
"Take your time Mike."
"So how did it go last night?"
"Nicky he's awesome, we are back to where we were three years ago. But there is trouble on the horizon I think."
"What trouble?"
"Mum, she won't leave him alone. She needs to know everything and he got the biggest breakfast this morning." He almost giggled.
"That's not a bad thing, she only wants to get to know him."
"I know, but it eats into our time together. After we sent you that photo she knocked on the door and asked him if he wanted a game of cards."
"She's going to be the mother he never had Mike, let her go Ellen's one of the good people," March said.
"I know and I am so grateful to both of them, we are going with gran to pick out her new cottage on the weekend. Dad said he can borrow a small bus from Joel, because everyone wants to go."
"That's awesome Mike.
"I know, and someday we will have kids like you and March then family life goes on."
"How does Bobby feel about that?"
"He told me what happened, but I was referring to when he and I get married, which I thought at the time was impossible. I had my dreams March, before he left town. I had a whole book with them written down."
"Well most of them will come true Mike, you have done very well to get this far."
"I will see you at work. Have to go and help daddy Wilson." He grinned.
"Truck truck truck Mike truck." I heard Mason say.
"I think it's working Nicky."
"I hope so."
I looked at my post and there they were, our friend's advising us on how to potty train a toddler. By the end of the day Rachael's post had been deleted and Brenda moved my post to the top of the page. It was a welcomed distraction.
Rachael wasn't home when Sam and Lenny called, but lucky Rose had her keys in hand, and helped them bag everything up.
Bobby wasn't seen for three days and I was concerned he was avoiding everyone. Mike turned the music up and danced around the workshop, he is one big happy puppy.
"He will come in Nicky, you know how it goes. He's embarrassed and if it goes on any longer I will drag him here. Mum is talking to the welfare they have put her onto a lady who will talk to her about undoing some of the damage. She wants to help him become more confident and she said he has to love himself again. Nicky I love him, do you have any tips for me on how to help?"
"Just love him Mike. Nothing you or your mum can do will force him to change, he has to do that in his mind and then his actions."
"I want to ask him to marry me, is it too soon?"
"No, that will cement your love for him. Have you bought a ring?"
"Yes, I bought it ages ago, when I was making plans."
"Then do it on a sunny day, go to March's clearing and do it there, it's the perfect setting."
"He will get mad."
"He won't, in fact he will be happy to share it with his two favourite nephews."
"Thank you Nicky, through you and March I found the courage to come out. I know what Bobby has been going through, but his was worse."
"You did well Mike, nothings changed right? I mean the sky didn't fall in did it?"
"No, but there was a time when he left town it got close to it."
"In the past Mike, it won't come back, so now, how can I help?"
"He's talking about going back to the gym and he will start work next week. These are the two things that scare him. Seeing you again, and work."
"I will fix that today."
"How?"
"I have my ways." I smiled. I made some phone calls and everything was set, so around three I jumped in my car and headed for Mike's school house.
I knocked, then went through the back door, the school had changed so much March's kitchen looked magnificent.
I found Ellen and Bobby sitting at the table, they were playing Monopoly.
"Nicky, how wonderful to see you again, coffee?" Ellen stood up.
"Yes please Ellen, Bobby how are you today?"
"Good Nicky, I'm sorry I haven't been in to see you, but I have had things to do."
"Well I certainly hope you're not avoiding us Bobby, we are so excited for you and Mike, and want to share it with you."
"I will come in soon." He dropped his head, oh no you don't.
I lifted his chin and looked into his beautiful eyes.
"Never do that again in my presence. Look the world in the eyes and stand tall. You know Bobby we have something in common."
"No, did you try to...?" He didn't finish.
"No, but someone tried to murder me last year around this time."
"That's awful, what happened?" Ellen came and sat with us and I told Bobby
what happened with Matt, the snow the cold the mental state I was in.
"But you're so cool now."
"I had help Bobby. If it wasn't for March and his friends I would have hidden myself away. This town took me into its arms and it warmed me again. I learned that it wouldn't allow me to hide away. Nothing was said about my night in the snow, but I had hundreds of offers for support. March was my biggest rock, he had me laughing again and what happened to me didn't matter in the end. I was alive, in love, and breathing fresh air again."
"So you're saying I shouldn't hide away that people won't ask about, you know what?"
"Yes, now I want you to go and get your gym bag and come with me."
"Am I ready for that?"
"You are ready, and it's well overdue. Your friends miss you very much. Whatever you face from now on, hit it hard and don't let it control you. I doubt very much the folks of this town will mention anything, they will however be concerned about how you cope with it. That's important, and by spring it will all be forgotten," He stood up and went to get his bag, he wasn't slumping.
"He will be all right Nicky, I was told he's making real progress," Ellen said.
"But not enough lovely lady, he will be back at work next week, that will be confronting. I have a plan." I smiled.
"Tell me."
"I have organised a few of his workmates to be in the gym by four, he will either run or face them. I think it better it happens while they are not at work. Then when he does turn up, half the job is done."
"Good thinking."
He came back and took a deep breath.
"Come on sunshine there's a very handsome Uncle at the garage dying to see you again. And by the way."
"Yes Nicky"
"If you think for one minute you are going to push my husband out of the number one spot in the yearly calendar, think again. You're gorgeous, but March is better." He thought about it for a second. Then he blushed as he started laughing.
"That's better, Ellen we will see you in a couple of hours."
"Have fun boys." She sang out.
"But I don't have a dad anymore, isn't it a dad kid thing?" He said on the way.
"You will be photographed with Mike and Lenny, one big happy family photo." He laughed again.
"Do people say things about me?"
"No, they haven't, and they won't because you are one of theirs. You're a nephew, a son, a friend and a much-loved part of their town,"
"I'm sorry I did that to you."
"You cried for help, and I missed it for a minute, and you didn't do anything to me. You only reminded me how fragile life can be."
"Yes. I was in another place at the time."
"How is Mike anyway?"
"What do you mean, he's good you see him every day."
"No, how is Mike, in bed?"
"Uncle Nicky, what a thing to say." He laughed and that's what I needed because I opened the gym door and everyone in there heard it.
"Bobby, my man good to see you again," Nudge said, then he kissed him on the cheek. Bobby laughed again and said.
"I hope Mrs Nudge doesn't hear of this."
"It will be posted very soon, we are a bit sick of Nicky's kisses."
"How dare you. I will have you know that I am the best kisser in town."
"Try me again." Nudge went full bore, full on mouth to mouth, then he stepped back and bowed.
"My next performance will be at nine tonight with Mrs Nudge. That was as shit as Stephensons."
"Nicky!"
"What?"
"Get here."
Dad Mike and March had been watching and Joel and the rest of the guys that were there laughed and clapped. Bobby was stunned and happy at the same time, his workmates welcomed him back but didn't make a fuss, they went about their workouts as if nothing had happened.
"You have that last house to help me with on Monday, don't be late." His boss said.
"I won't boss." Bobby smiled.
Mike went into the changing room with him and they both came out all red-faced. They started doing a workout and the sexual tension in the air was electric. The guys did their own thing but March had other plans. We ended up in the mini shed within the big shed.
"He will be okay now, the standoff has been broken. by the way. I told Mike to take him to the clearing to propose to him."
"No not our clearing."
"Yes, our clearing."
"But they will go there when we are."
"No they won't, you won't let them," I laughed.
"I have a better idea Nicky,"
"What?"
"We send them to our hotel."
"Okay." He said that as he nipped my neck, I am such a slut.
