Chapter 9
March Stephenson.
Maxieplus.
Eventually, everything went limp, and the urges we had ceased. He whispered to me that he loved me very much. I whispered the same back. It's hard to answer that sort of comment with the same comment, but I sometimes try and get in first.
"He's part Asian Nicky, very tall with skin like silk. He was adopted by the Atkins family many years ago and is one of the family for sure. He wears his long hair in a samurai style and sometimes places chopsticks in it, he's very unique. His body is awesome but not bulky, he's been working on it for years. He's also my sort of mentor, I go to his place sometimes to sit in his contemplation garden and I meditate. He taught me a while ago before we left school how to do it. I go there to talk with him and to meditate when it all gets too hard for me."
I looked up at him there were no tears just glassy eyes. I don't know whether he was holding them back or not, but he did make a move when and pulled me in closer.
"Nicky, when dad died and I had to run the farm, I did have some help but I was still grieving for him. I worked my ass off to try and get it going again and I eventually had a breakdown."
"What? why didn't you tell me this sooner? That's important stuff March,"
"Shusssh Nicky I am telling you now."
"I still don't know whether it was a complete breakdown or a mini one, but I was put into the hospital for a while. Dianne's mum nursed me back to health because I hadn't eaten much and had lost a lot of weight. I was all skin and bone in the end."
"O'h March you poor thing, what on earth did you do?"
"When I was back at home I called Jason, I knew he would come to my aid. He drove from the city just about every other night to talk to me, and he got me on a better diet and exercise regime, he also got me back into meditating. I overheard what Dianne said today otherwise we would not be having this conversation. Her mum did look after me so well, and she came to the farm every day after I was discharged, just to make sure I was eating enough. She virtually fed May and me for a few months. I would meet Jason at the river and we would do our meditation together so May didn't know about it. He was making plans to move back and he didn't want to come back here, this town is too small for his business. He's a lifestyle instructor and does classes on mind body and soul, he was very much into it from an early age."
"So he is teaching you meditation when you go there?"
"Yes and no, I know how to meditate and I am very calm afterward. I can't explain things like Jason can but I get the gist of it all. If I have to go there it's because I am stressed out, his gardens are beautiful and I would like to put a small one out the back here If I can."
"Of course, you can, we both can use it."
"You would learn?"
"Yes, I need to be doing it anyway, all the stresses I have had the past eight months have to go."
"Well I went there a lot when you came to town, you did my head in. I had to think about what I wanted in my life, but from the first time I looked into your eyes I knew I had to be with you. What I didn't know was how you felt and that did my head in more because I didn't know much about gay things, it wasn't in my life. But Jason did, and he talked to me loads about it."
"Where in the hell did you ever find the time?"
"Nicky, the river was my meditation garden, I used it a lot."
"I disturbed your quiet space then."
"Sort of, but it was much welcomed and I could always go to Jason's after work."
I felt awful now.
"At night, he would sit in his garden and I used to sit with him then we would both light the big smelly things and meditate."
"The incense sticks."
"Yes them, I sometimes burnt them in the garage but that was mainly to get rid of the constant smell."
"You did good baby, very good to pull yourself out of that hole."
"I had help Nicky plenty of help. It was May that put the farm up for sale, we argued a lot back then, and it was just pure luck Ethan made the offer. She also made me buy the garage so I would have something to do, and so she can keep an eye on me. She says that you are the best thing to happen to her and me, and she doesn't worry anymore."
"I will see that it doesn't happen again March, you can rely on me for anything you need."
"Nicky there's something else." My heart fell
"Yes?"
"Before we advertised the farm we subdivided a piece of it, we still own the land west of the bridge, and included in that land is our swimming hole. That's why the loggers can't go near it."
"You own all that land?"
"Yes, Nicky we own it, and will never sell it."
He kissed me then and I felt awesome and thankful he had confided in me, every day I find out something that rocks my boat with March Stephenson. Little by little I will get to know his whole life story and I loved him so much.
"Nicky there is still a problem."
"What? How can I help you March?"
"Can you suck me off, it's a Zen thing."
I stared at him and he burst out laughing after trying to hold it in.
"It would be my greatest pleasure to do that job for you, oh wise one."
I finally caught up with Brenda, she had a very nice office at the council chambers, and we had coffee and biscuits while we talked.
She gave me the paperwork I had to fill in and register with them, and she checked my license and made a photocopy of it.
"Now Nicky, register the business here, we will look after the rest and as for permits, we have already started the process they will be ready for pick up tomorrow. These are the rules to open a business in town, you will need public insurance and provide a safe environment for your clients. My eldest is crying out for you to open, does he get a discount?"
I laughed at her face she was very businesslike.
"He will get a key for free Brenda, unlimited use of the gym.
"He will pay you five dollars a week, I need to continue to teach him about budgeting. And don't worry when he is asked what he is paying, he will say the same as the rest of your clients. He can keep his trap shut." We both laughed then she went on.
"The photographer will be here next weekend Nicky so I have been requested to have a few of you in your running shorts and March in his overalls dropped to the waist, and they must be the old ripped ones." She giggled, and I realized it wasn't just me that found them sexy.
"Thank god I kept them."
"Yes there would have been a riot and Nicky please tell him on the lower hips please, maybe he can show some treasure trail."
"That is your fantasy Brenda, not your posters." She blushed.
"It will be tasteful Nick, I can assure you."
"And I can assure you his photos will be, but I'm a different kind of rebel."
"White Jock?"
"Maybe, and does all the town know about them?"
"People can't miss it, Nicky, when you're always putting it out there."
I had a great time with her, and I know we are good friends already. I don't know about March, maybe he is too shy to show some sexy hair but I will try to be at the shoot.
I went back to the cafe where May was having coffee out the front, so I went to make myself one and was confident it will be just as good as hers.
Sitting down I looked at her.
"What's up?"
"He's being very quiet today Nicky, not a peep out of him, is something wrong?"
"He mustn't be stressed May."
"He has four cars in from a museum but I don't think they are urgent."
"I will go and see him soon I have to make a start on that room and the shed."
"Do you need a hand?"
"Not yet May I still have to get that furniture I'm taking moved."
"You can store it on your verandah Nicky everybody else does around here."
"Good thinking." I rolled my eyes because there was nowhere else.
She was messaging on her phone, maybe she is on the local page.
Then she was laughing at herself I hope it wasn't dirty. From out of nowhere cars arrived and parked across the road, March waved and he started talking to the guys and ladies. He beckoned me over, I looked at May.
"What have you done?"
"I called for help Nicky, don't you do that sometimes?"
I huffed and walked across the road, the furniture was loaded onto a tray truck and it was driven off to our place, signs were wiped and dusted off and carried into the shed for storage. Those wonderful friends of ours did three hours of work, then had to go back to their cooking, or pick the kids up, and I was in tears when I thanked them. I got a lot of hugs and kisses as they left with what extra furniture they wanted. I also got a lot of
"See you bright and early in the morning Nicky." I looked at the head girl and she said.
"You do want us to help you clean up that room don't you?"
"I can't thank you enough."
"We don't have much to do during the day Nicky, it's our pleasure to help anyone that brings a business like yours to town, and anyway you're one of us now that March has moved in with you." She grinned.
When she left I looked at March and broke down, this is too much, these people were so good to us.
"They are our family Nicky, if they call for assistance we will answer them also, it works like that around here."
"What a wonderful town March I have fallen in love with it so much, and I love you also."
"I love you too." See, the same sort of answer.
The next day the room was cleaned and polished the windows were cleared and someone called her husband in to organize a hard-wearing carpet quote, another one will check the electrics out, and the walls needed paint. I have no idea what I was going to do for this town but I figured March Stephenson should show some pubes. He laughed when they tried to sweep his garage out.
May and I toiled away the next day making bags of magic stuff, we had a production line going and finished up with a thousand bags in the end. I had no idea where the time went, it was an easy job and kind of fun to do. I was rewarded with ten bags for myself. I did have to leave her when the guys came to quote the jobs, and they seemed reasonable so I told them to start as soon as they could, I picked a nice blue carpet with white walls.
"Thank you Nicky I have done your mum's orders they are ready for pick up. She's doing very well, I discounted the bags for her so she can make a little money on the side."
"Thank you May, I have had an awesome day." We hugged and argued that it was her turn to make the coffee. I ended up in front of the machine, I could see March had arrived so I made three and grabbed a couple of pasties.
"Chinese tonight Nicky?"
"Yes please oh wise one," He laughed.
"I'll have some too March when you order it."
"I'll drop it off, or you can come to ours." I offered.
"I will be there at six thirty Nicky, thank you."
She smirked at her brother, he said.
"Don't you be getting it into your head that you can hang around my boyfriend all you like, he's got things to do when he gets home,"
"I'll bring my swimmers," May smirked.
"That tub is just for Nicky and me, no swimmers." He almost shouted.
The people passing laughed, yes March nobody will know until we announce it.
When the food arrived May and us sat on the porch at the big old farmhouse table I started looking at the gouges in it, they had a story for just about every one of them, and it bought back some memories for them both.
"I have to do something for the town May, they were outstanding with their help. I have never heard of a town like this they certainly got me all organized, and quickly."
"You have already helped them Nicky, the painting, carpet, and electrical work you are getting done will help three families. The accounts won't be big, and the others are just happy to see you in your shorts, it's all over the local page how much fun they had, and they thanked us for all the extra furniture also." She giggled.
"Stop making my man a sexual object May, those shorts are for me only."
"Well tell him to stop putting it all out there then. You dont think the ladies made him climb up that ladder just to check the light fitting was clean do you?"
He looked at me and I lifted my eyebrow.
"Well maybe their not just for me then." He grabbed for the last of the rice but she was quicker, he pouted and I gave him mine.
I had something for May tonight, I had searched Jason's business, and there as large as life was a photo of him in one of those all-in-one gym suits, he was beautiful and so fit. I thought about joining his classes just to watch him. March was right his long hair was held in place with chopsticks, and his skin was like silk it was enhanced with all the muscle. I must say at this time if March Stephenson didn't have that blonde hair that flopped everywhere, the slightly hairy verandah of a chest, and that happy trail. Jason would be top of my list to become my current live-in lover. His chest was like looking at two headlights all rounded and very perky.
We got into the tub and May joined us much to March's disgust, he wasn't very talkative or welcoming. I rolled my eyes at May she did the same.
"Typical spoilt brat."
"You're the spoilt one, you got everything you wanted and don't care about anyone's feelings."
"At least I am good company arent I Nicky?"
"Oh please don't pull me into your family spats."
"Nicky is my best friend." She kicked March he grabbed me and pulled me across the tub and kissed me.
"He's my lover and bestest friend."
"Okay stop it there kids I can't be bothered tonight. I'm only in here to relax, deep breaths now March and May. Deep breaths calmness please." March started laughing and said I was doing it all wrong.
"Well, I will be doing it right when you teach me."
"That's for sure."
"May, have you any more thoughts on Jason?"
"What!?"
"Jason, you know your schoolgirl crush."
"No thoughts at all Nicky, why?"
I grabbed my iPad from the stool beside the tub and found the photo, then I handed it to her.
"Who is this?" She asked.
"Jason."
No, that's not him, he is skinny and plain but I did like him."
"Well, that's him now."
"He runs a wellness school, how awesome is that body." She got excited all of a sudden.
"Nice rack too." I smiled and March nudged me.
"Sorry baby yours is so much better."
"That's better." He puffed his chest out.
"He's changed a lot, look at all the things he's doing at his school."
"Yes, some amazing stuff, why don't you join his classes?"
She didn't answer, she was too busy perving on the photo.
It was an early night for us all. She had to get home and March was almost humping the legs off the bed. He was so horny I had to slow him down, it was the night he wanted to do everything to me, no holds barred.
I am very lucky I am fit enough to withstand his manhandling, some of it was painful but I let him get away with it, he doesn't know gay as yet.
"Not a lot of women like it either they are too sensitive."
"I didn't know, sorry." He was apologizing for biting my nipple I nearly hit the roof, that was too much.
"Well you know now, so don't do it again."
"I like to do that."
"No, you don't, you have never done that before."
"I watch it on the net and the guy loved it."
"Acting March, he gets paid to let guys do that to him, a big difference than actual reality."
"Oh." I am not going to explain every gay thing to him, so I bent over and bit his nipple he virtually did hit the roof.
"Why did you do that?"
"I thought you liked it."
"Nicky one day I will teach you some things I like and that's not one of them."
"So you think I liked that"
"Maybe." he grinned.
I turned on my side because I know where this is heading, and if he wants a piece of me he can have only my ass tonight.
We slept well and I heard a knock on the door after I lay there playing with March, I groaned and got out of bed. Putting a robe on I answered it.
"Dad, Mum why so early?"
"We wanted to get an early start son, is March home?"
"He's still in bed."
"Good I want to talk to him."
"Come in, coffee?"
"Yes please, son." Mum looked like she needed more sleep he must have had her up very early this morning. I poked my head into the bedroom, March was half out of bed half in, and muttering to himself.
"Mum and dads here." I smiled and he groaned. I don't think he's a morning person but I could be wrong.
"Now son, we are in the caravan can we set it up down the back?"
"Of course, you can." Mum was trying not to laugh. I made the coffee and March came out, he was fully dressed.
"I see you stayed the night son." Dad laughed, and March grunted. He went to get a coffee and sat at the small table with them.
"Why don't we take these outside there's much more table space out there." I offered.
"Nicky, March, this is going to be wonderful its made so much more room."
"Yes, when the kitchen goes in it will be even better and bigger."
"Well done March, you are a very clever man."
"The finishes are a bit rugged." Dad said.
"It's not done yet, I am doing it on the weekend."
"Where is the plaster I can have it done by tonight." Dad offered.
"In those shopping bags all you will need is in there, knock yourself out." March winked at me, another free worker.
"I don't mind doing it March, that's of course if your not busy in the garage that is." Dad's smile was so nice to see.
"I only have four Hillman Imps in from a club museum, ones done already I can take my time with them."
"I love those little cars they are so easy to do." Marches ears pricked up.
"Then I will stay home and do the plastering and you can open the garage if you like."
"Really?"
"If you want, the only extra thing you will have to do is pump gas, and that's easy."
"Now we are all getting ahead of ourselves, why are you here.? Are you going on a tour or something?"
"No son, we thought we may as well come up and help for a week or so, if that's okay with you and March we can camp down the back behind the bushes and trees, all we will need is a bit of power and some water the rest we have."
"We are having a holiday Nicky you don't mind do you?" Mum touched my hand.
"Of course not, but your bed will be here today or tomorrow, you didn't need the caravan."
"Yes we did son, we like our privacy." Dad smiled.
They are still a very attractive couple, and not so old either. I suppose they still do the bed dance, but I can't think of that in any shape or form.
"I can run the lead out and the hose is already on the tap down the back," March said.
"Easy as."
"Now March what will it be patching up the missing ceiling or servicing the cars?"
"I will do the cars I know them, and you don't have to work while you are here Lance, I'm sure Nicky wants to show you his new shop also. The plastering will be done soon. I have to take the kitchen out and do the flooring before the new one comes in."
"What flooring?"
"Well, where the wall was it needs a few new floorboards and under the cupboards also, that will lift the benches."
"Where are the floorboards?"
"In the smaller bedroom, we have to get them up because it's going to be a bathroom and walk-in wardrobe, the floorboards are too good to hide away, so we will preserve them."
"I see, and a good idea too."
"Ron will take the excess, he's into reclaiming old wood."
"Very nice of him." I think I'm being pushed aside, I wanted to help March do something at least.
"I will do the painting then." All three looked at me, but didn't dare laugh.
"More coffee?" March offered.
"Yes please."
Dad went to use the toilet and mum leaned over and said.
"He is so bored Nicky and March, please let him help you both. He knows a lot about things and is very good with his hands."
"He can mum, we are very happy to have you here, and dad will be a great help," I said.
"Yes stay for as long as you need." March then got up to make more coffee. I leaned into mum and said.
"As far as I can see up until now March has only done some sweeping, his mate Ron has done the rest. The kitchen will be installed by Bunnings but he's going to do the concrete bench tops, apart from that he hasn't started any projects." I laughed.
March arrived back with the bigger pot of coffee, he poured them out and we thanked him.
"Nicky, have you ever heard of a project manager?"
"Yes they organise the build, we had one with the house."
He smiled at me weirdly.
"Oh you are the project manager, you don't do any work."
"Got it in one."
Mum laughed this time and dad came back.
"That bathroom is big any plans for all that space?"
"A butlers pantry I believe."
"Then you will need a wall framed, have you got any timber?"
"Not yet but I can order it." March winked at me.
I remembered when we were renovating the house dad almost begged to do something, but Matt wouldn't let him he had no faith in dads abilities, which saddened me at the time.
"I have your box of goodies in the front bedroom mum."
"Good, I will post them out while I'm here Nicky. Corned beef and mashed potatoes for dinner tonight we can dine out here it's so lovely."
"Yes please my favorite all time meal." March almost nearly orgasmed.
He tried to help dad set up the caravan but there was no need, all he had to do was circle the big yard and pull up behind the bushes that divided it, the van was half hidden, they wanted some privacy.
March was taught how to set it up and dad said we could borrow it anytime we wanted. Plans were made for the day and mum and I set the inside up while dad and March went off to work.
"We won't stay more than a few weeks Nicky, I have to get back."
"Why?" She looked confused and then said.
"I don't know son, but I have to," We both laughed as I pushed the walls out to make more room.
She had made more drinks and I sat at her table.
"Nicky you look so relaxed."
"It's the country lifestyle mum, this town is so awesome the people are very generous."
"I have read it all son, but how are you inside?"
"I can't describe the feelings I get inside mum, that old business is all forgotten, March coming into my life has done that. I am so in love again, and all my past has disappeared. I don't even go onto his site anymore, he is dead to me now."
"Well, we can see you are very happy and your new man is wonderful, he's very popular in this town."
"He's the most generous loving man I have ever met mum. And he is going to teach me how to meditate, I think it will be good for me."
"Sure it will Nicky, I touched on it years ago and it helped me a lot."
"Well that's good mum, he is going to install a small contemplation garden somewhere out here, we all can use it."
"For sure son. Your father will be busy over the next few weeks, thank you he's driving me crazy."
"You know you both are very welcomed here mum."
"He knows it also, I have put it off because I don't want to be a nuisance."
"You're not mum, and if you keep the corned beef coming March won't want you to go home ever."
She laughed.
"Is there a butcher in town where I can buy one?"
"Sure is, let's go for a drive."
I took her to our swimming hole, she sat on a rock and was amazed.
"So this is where you both swim?"
"Yes mum, I didn't know March came here to meditate and I disturbed him a few times. It's all good now we are both on the same page."
"Well, it is very serene here son."
We stayed for a half hour then I took her to the veggie barn where she bought some potatoes and beans, I introduced her to the ladies and they all got along quite nicely.
Next was the butcher and then Mays.
They caught up and we had drinks and cake, I walked across to the garage and the painter was there, he wanted to get it done before the carpet went down. After having a chat with him I walked into the workshop, two cars were being worked on and I heard laughing. I know exactly what this is all about and I was so happy for my March Stephenson. They were bonding, dad was telling him all about his garage life and March was rattling off the names of all the cars he's worked on.
I guess I'm not needed here.
"Nicky I didn't see you." March wiped his hands, he then walked me to the other side of his car and kissed me, the fondling started immediately.
"Lance morning tea has arrived, pie and sauce?'
"Yes please son, I will wash up and be over in a minute."
March went to the wash basin and I walked back across the road, I got their orders ready and I had a pastie mum had a pie.
"What time will you be home, March?" She asked.
"Around four Mary.
"Okay dinner at six all right"
"Fine mum."
"What are you having?" May asked.
"Just some corned beef and mashed potatoes and veggies I got from that big barn past Nick's place."
"I love corned beef." March bristled.
"Then you must come for dinner May, it will be nice to have another lady at the table."
"Lady," I heard March moan.
May sat up straight and answered in her best voice.
"It will be my pleasure to come, Mary. I might even bring my bathers and have a dip."
"Well count me out with that, not my thing May." March went red-faced and was about to explode I turned to him and said.
"The thermostat is broken the water is cold." I grinned.
He knew I was joking.
"I like cold swims," May said.
"Don't push it, my dearest sister-in-law, you will wear out your welcome." Her head snapped around and she glared at me, I smiled sweetly.
Dad was eager to get back to work, they are on their last ones, and March got a call.
"Yes that's fine Mike, just drop it off anytime."
"Lance, how are you with Porsche?"
"What?"
"It will be dropped off sometime soon, needs a full service."
"I will research it tonight."
"Worth a mint seventy-six model."
"How come you get to do all these vintage cars son?" Dad asked.
"Because I'm not only an expert I'm also reasonable with my prices." He laughed.
I like march's laugh it's real and he doesn't push it.
"When will the gym be up and running Nicky?"
"Soon as I get some equipment dad."
"Can you buy that stuff around here?"
"There's a big new and second-hand place before you get into the city, we will go there. I would like to ask Jason to accompany me, he knows all about gyms."
"We will be buying the machines, Nicky, I have the list already made out."
I pouted.
"Nicky, if Jason does it he will only buy what he uses, you need to be versatile."
"So do you," I said under my breath, meaning he hasn't let me near his ass except for rimming.
"Nicky, can I talk to you inside?"
I got up and followed him in, he was about to scratch my ears but he stood behind a row of stands and his hand slipped into my shorts. He kissed me and I was disappointed he was in his new overalls so he missed out.
"Now you know why I kept the old ones." He was having a great old time with my goodies then he unclipped the side studs it was uncomfortable but I did manage a full-on grope.
We came out red-faced dad had gone back to work and mum was ready to get back home, she still had some setting up to do. Dad will do the awning when he gets home and the camping chairs will be put out so they can chill.
I did some cleaning up and went with my furniture polish and did the big table, it came up a treat, then I swept the verandah. The tv went on for background noise and mum came up to use the stove it's more convenient. I helped with the peas and beans while she made some scones. They weren't as good as Faith's but close, the boys will need a snack when they get in.
The food was wonderful and everyone had plenty to eat, May was licking her lips and said she hadn't had one since her mum passed. She had forgotten how lovely they were. There was plenty left over for sandwiches for the boy's lunch and May took a piece to do the same.
"Why haven't you put in a sandwich bar May?"
"Laziness I don't want to spend my days making them up, there are always the ones at the supermarket people buy them."
"I see." Mum sat up and winked at me then said.
"Fresh is best." I think May got the hint, and I think a sandwich bar would be great for my clients, they do their workouts and then get a healthy sandwich or a pie.
"Mum, are you thinking about moving here?" I asked.
"No son, I was just thinking that's all."
"Anytime you want to open a sandwich bar you can rent some space from me, there's plenty of room." May offered at last.
March didn't say anything until everyone had gone home and we were in the tub.
"Nicky, do you think your mum and dad will move here?"
"I don't know, they seem pretty keen to fit in."
"I get along good with Lance he is a top bloke."
"March he calls you son, why don't you call him dad?"
"Out of respect for my dad that's the problem, but dad is easier and less informal. I am thinking about it."
"Good, and it wouldn't be that bad if he helps you in the garage sometimes, and mum does open her small sandwich bar, at least they will be occupied."
"Yes Nicky, but it's all going too quick for me."
"I know what you mean baby, can I sit in your lap?"
"Of course you can I was wondering why you were sitting over there."
"I was waiting to be asked."
"Get over here."
Dreams, they were full of March Stephenson tonight, I even woke a few times and snuggle up to him. It was one of those nights when you're not awake but you are very happy to wriggle about. I wasn't tired when I woke up but March was.
"Why don't you take the day off?"
"That car is coming today."
"Dad can do it."
"I need to supervise."
"All right then, I will be up at some stage the beds are coming today."
"Good but I like this one."
"It's too small."
"Not small enough Nicky." I snuggled back to him he was sticking that knob between my legs.
My arm has healed as much as it is going to, there has been no change for a few weeks now, but I still sip on Mays tea. I have most of the feeling back and I can lift things, but it still isn't as strong as my right arm. I am very happy with the results it could have been worse. There was no one around when I finally pried myself out of bed, so I put the coffee on and went to shower. We both sat on the wide porch and could see mum and dad sitting outside having breakfast. I guess they don't want to outstay their welcome. I will discuss dinner with her sometime today she shouldn't be cooking for us. In reality, they are our guests, but mum is a good cook.
March showered after a few eggs and half a pack of bacon, not to mention the four slices of toast that he put away.
He called out to dad that he was ready to go to work, they took separate cars so dad could come home when he liked. March will stay there in case there's an emergency or someone needs gassing up.
He said the car won't take long its one of the easier ones.
"You didn't come up this morning mum."
"No son, we had things to discuss and didn't want to disturb you too much, we don't know your habits just yet."
"It's okay mum you don't have to ring before you call in, not like the last place it's very relaxed here."
"Yes in the early day's we spent some time here with dads mum. He is getting a little nostalgic Nick."
"Well, you can stay as long as you need mum. You don't mess us around we don't have a regime we just go with the flow."
"Good to hear Nick, that's the way it should be."
"Are you coming up to the shop with me?"
"Yes I want to get something for dinner, and I want to see May again. She is a very lovely girl Nicky."
"Well firstly you don't have to feed us, I was going to get fish and chips for tonight."
"We will have them on Friday Nick, roast chicken tonight." My stomach groaned I love roast chicken.
We got ready and mum tried to make me change but I said March will kick me out if I did, he wants to keep it real, and we did laugh.
I pulled into the garage and mum went to find May, March was hanging over the old ford truck's fender so I had a good feel of his butt.
"Where is dad?"
"He took the Porsche for a drive I hope he brings it back." He chuckled and then kissed me for real.
"What are you doing with this old beauty?"
"I am installing a new radiator I thought she might need one soon, so I will do it now."
"Has the painter finished?"
"He left his account on my office desk Nicky, and the carpet man will be here soon."
"We had better go look for gym equipment soon, it's nearly finished."
"You need signs done."
"Shit I forgot them."
"It's okay they are in the shed. I will put them up when I'm finished here."
"What have you done? Did you get the name right are they the right size?"
"All done names right and the size is perfect, stop stressing."
I walked out the back and opened the shed, two signs were leaning up against a chest of drawers. Nicky's Gym, opening times plus phone numbers.
"I guess they are right, who did them?"
"The painter silly, I mentioned it yesterday and he had them done by this morning."
"March, do you want to run my gym?"
"No, but I thought I was helping." He shuffled his feet.
"You did very well my man, and thank you very much that just earned you a free voucher."
"For the gym?"
"No for a free suck anytime anywhere." He grinned and looked around.
"Now?"
"It's a bit open here baby."
"Pleeeease." I slammed the door and pulled his overalls down then I went to work on him.
"That was awesome Nicky."
"The fear of being caught it's so exciting."
"Is that a gay thing?"
"No that's pretty normal across the board."
"Now I have lost my voucher."
"No you haven't, it wasn't my best blow job so I am giving you extra credit."
"Are you two finished in there?"
Dad yelled out.
"Yes, Mr. Wilson," March replied.
We walked out blushing, and he said the car was running perfectly, he had to stop and do some fine-tuning but it's okay now.
"Right I'm hungry, I think I will go get a pie at Mays are you coming?" He looked at us we said yes.
"Son we can work on your old ford this afternoon it should be finished by tomorrow. Have you any cars in?"
"No dad, just gas and a bit of a clean up, I might go swimming at lunchtime I have a get-in free voucher to use."
"Well keep up with your exercises son." The word dad is being thrown around plenty now, I was proud of my father because he persisted with March, and March has to learn he can have many dads in his life, not just one. But I may say a very important one.
May and mum were talking up a storm with some local ladies and I went to get the boys lunches and coffees. I took my time to get it all right and took a pie for myself. By the time I got back, the ladies had moved on and March leaned into me and whispered.
"Have you told everyone in town we are a couple, Nicky?'
"No, I haven't said a word March, cross my heart."
He leaned in more and kissed me on the lips.
"I thought so."
Mum and May laughed, and I rolled my eyes.
Dad was talking cars with March, May was talking herbal stuff with mum and I sat there talking to myself. I am going swimming tomorrow and thank god my folk's arent water babies.
It was when mum asked May where she can buy some cooked chooks from, March returned to his garage. May had said she will buy them on her way up to our house, which guaranteed her a good meal tonight.
I wandered across the road to have a look in the gym, the walls were awesome. March put his arms around me and kissed my neck.
"Are you pissed off that May is coming to dinner again?"
"Of course not, but she does have a habit of pushing her way into other people's lives. I wanted to be with you tonight."
"But mum and dad will be there also."
"They don't count, May is trying to get into your good books she will ask if she can move in soon."
"She's lonely March, it's been tough on her also."
"I know, and it's been a long time since we both have had cooked meals at home, they are bringing back memories Nicky."
"That's a good thing then, let her go, she will meet someone soon I'm sure of it."
"I love May to death, she was very good to me after my, you know what, and she's been a wonderful sister. I don't begrudge her a home-cooked meal. I just think she's up to something that's all."
"I doubt it March, she won't say it but she is very lonely."
He kissed me again and I reminded him he's just had one free one, but tonight it's back to normal he can have a couple of free ones if he wants them.
"I will get onto those signs later on," I said.
"I'll get my apprentice to put them up."He giggled.
"Okay, but no naughty thoughts while he's up that ladder." I smiled.
