Gay

First of all, let me just say that this is my first time writing any kind of fiction like this.

DISCLAIMER: This is a work of total fiction and is not meant to imply anything about the sexualities of Nick and Drew Lachey or anyone else mentioned in this story.

Yes it's true. Nick and Jessica are no longer together. I wish them both the best and I hope that they both find happiness again one day. Nick's brother, Drew, is married to Lea, his longtime highschool sweetheart. I wish them all the best in their marriage.

If you are too young to read this, or if Homosexuality offends you, then please don't continue any further and leave.

Other 98 Degrees stories I'd like to recommend are.

"Give Me Just One Night" by Unanoche. "69 with Jeff Timmons" by Zachary Scott Pritt "Nick Lachey" by Ken. "98 Degrees Is Hot" by Gay Night "The Reunion" by RinSong. and finally: "This Gift" by Sprout.

Now, I"ll let you get on with the story.

Enjoy.

previously on "My Everything".....

I noticed Justin looking at Drew funny and I knew that he knew that something was up. I decided to change the subject and quick.

"Guys, I need to talk to you about a decision I've made recently." I wasn't going to do it right away, but now I feel I have to." I said to them.

"What are you talking about, Sean?" Danny asked me, confused.

I was really dreading what I had to tell them, but now with everything that was happening recently, I knew I had to.

I took a deep breath and blurted it out.

"I'm leaving, guys." I said to them. "I'm leaving the tour. Maybe for good."

Chapter 23

The guys all gasped when they heard I was leaving.

"What?! You can't be serious?" Danny exclaimed, giving me a worried look.

"I am, Danny." I said to him.

"But why?" He asked.

"You know why, Danny." Jeff said, pointing at Nick. "It's because of Nick."

"No, Jeff, that's not entirely true." I said to him. "I'm not just leaving because of Nick. There are other reasons as well."

"Which are?" Nick asked me, with a sad look on his face.

"I can't get into it with you guys. It's complicated." I told them.

"And there's nothing we can do to change your mind?" Justin asked.

"Nope, My mind is made up, Justin." I replied.

"Well where are you going to go?" Danny suddenly asked me.

"I don't know. Back home maybe." I told him. Then a thought occurred to me. "Or I could stay in L.A. with Ben and Matt."

That caused eyebrows to go up.

"Alright, that does it." Drew said. "Sean, I need to talk to you alone. Guys, wait here."

And with that, Drew grabbed my hand, pulling me up and out of the room towards his room.

Once we were in his room, he turned around with a sad look on his face.

"Sean, what are you thinking?" He asked me. "Why would you want to leave?"

I didn't know how to answer him, so I said nothing. That told Drew all he needed to know.

"You're not just leaving because of Nick are you? You're leaving because of me too? Sean don't you see what you're doing?"

"What?" I asked him, not sure what he meant.

"You're running away." Drew stated. "You're running away to avoid your feelings for me."

He walked over to me and put his hand on my left cheek, caressing my face as he continued talking.

"I know you have feelings for me." Drew said. "I can see it in your eyes."

I closed my eyes and let out a long sigh before I answered him.

"Drew, I don't deny I have feelings for you, but don't you understand? It can't happen for us. It just can't." I said, trying to get through to him.

"Why not?" Drew asked me. "Because of Nick?"

"Well he's part of it." I said.

"And what's the other part?" Drew asked, gazing into my eyes, still caressing my cheek.

"Do you realize what being with you would do to Nick?" I asked him. "Nick will be devastated and your relationship will never be the same again. I can't allow for that to happen."

"Don't worry about Nick, Sean." Drew said. "He'll deal with it. And Him and I will be just fine."

Drew then threw his arms around me, hugging me tightly.

Please, don't go?" He begged. "I'd miss you so much."

Drew's words were starting to affect me, emotionally. I didn't realize how deep he was in until this very moment. There was no denying it now: Drew Lachey was head over heels in love with me. I started to tear up again.

"Drew?" I asked as I released him. Drew pulled back and looked at me.

"What?" He asked.

"You know I'll miss you too. All of you." I said to him, running my hands up and down his muscular arms.

"Then don't go." Drew insisted. "Stay here with us."

He then looked into my eyes. I could see the desire burning in them. He wanted me.

"Stay here with me." He whispered as he leaned in and kissed me, fully and passionately. I returned his kiss, reaching down to grab his ass as we started to get into the moment.

Then Drew threw his arms around my neck and jumped up onto me, wrapping his legs around my waist, tightly.

I walked over to the bed with him still wrapped around me and lowered us down onto the bed, me on top of him. We continued our passionate kissing.

I felt his tongue slip into my mouth and I allowed him entry, as I ran my hands along his body, feeling him all over. I was getting hard and I could feel Drew's hardness against my own as he started grinding into me. I pushed back into him as he pushed into me, both of us starting to moan with the pleasure that each of us were feeling. Damn, Drew was so hot!

For someone who hadn't been with a guy before, he seemed to know what he was doing. He seemed to know where all of my hotspots were. He kissed my neck and licked the inside of my collarbone, causing me to gasp.

"Oh, Drew!" I panted. "Don't stop."

Drew continued to kiss my neck. When I felt his hands going to my belt again, that's when I brought my mind back to reality and put a stop to it.

"Drew, stop." I said, pushing him aside and getting up off of the bed.

"Sean, what is wrong?" Drew asked me, with a hurt look on his face. "First you tell me "don't stop" and then when I'm trying to please you more, you stop me. Why?"

I really hated hurting Drew, but I had to be straight with him. No matter what the cost.

"Drew, I stopped us because we can't do this anymore." I said. "It's not right. I'm only gonna end up hurting you and I don't want that to happen."

"Well what do you think you're doing right now?" Drew asked, his voice starting to crack. Tears were making their way down his face. "You're not even giving me a chance to show you how much I love you."

"That's because I don't share your feelings, Drew." I said. "I love you, but I'm not IN love with you. And I'm sorry if that hurts you, but it's the truth."

Drew's sad expression, turned to one of complete and utter agony. And he started to shake with sobs.

"How can you say that?" He cried. "You know you have feelings for me! Why can't you just follow your feelings?" We should follow our hearts and explore these feelings and see where they may lead us."

"Drew, I can't." I said, the tears starting to overwhelm me now. "I'm sorry. But I'm not the one for you. You deserve someone better than me."

"Fine, be that way, Sean!" Drew said, the tears still streaming down his face. But you remember this moment. You remember that you had someone who wanted to make you happy and give you everything that he had. But you just ripped his heart out like it meant nothing! Obviously, you're not the man I thought you were!"

That couldn't have hurt me more than if he'd punched me. I could feel myself start shaking, meaning I was close to having an emotional breakdown.

"Drew..." I started, while advancing towards him.

"Don't, ok?" Drew said, putting a hand out to stop me. "Don't even think about touching me! Just get out!

"Drew, come on." I tried to reason with him. Drew wouldn't hear of it.

"Sean, just go, please?" Drew sobbed while turning his back to me.

I turned towards the door and walked over to it, my face wet with tears. When I got to the door, I turned around. Drew still had his back to me.

"I'm sorry, Drew." I whispered to him. "I'm sorry if I've hurt you. That was never my intention."

Drew didn't answer me and kept his back to me. I walked out of his room and shut the door behind me.

I walked back to Nick's room and walked in. Once the rest of the guys caught sight of my face, they all stood up.

"What happened?" Danny said, grabbing me into a hug. I started to cry again as I hung onto him.

"Drew and I had a fight." I managed to get out.

"I'm sorry to hear that, buddy." Jeff said, rubbing my back. "What was it about?"

"I can't tell you right now, Jeff." I said. "Right now, I have to talk to Nick alone. Why don't you and Danny go on back to your room and I'll catch up with you later?"

Jeff and Danny looked at each other and then at Nick and then nodded.

"Alright, We'll see you later." Jeff said, giving me hug as he put his arm around Danny and they both left the room, leaving me and Nick alone together.

Then, when Nick looked at me, the expression in his eyes almost frightened me. Apparently he was taking our break up harder than I had thought. The sparkle that was once in his beautiful blue eyes was gone now, leaving his eyes looking tired and worn out.

"What do you want to talk to me for?" Nick asked as he sat back down on the bed, his voice still sounding a bit slurred.

"It's about Drew." I said, walking over to sit beside him on the bed.

"What about him?" Nick asked me. "What did you two fight about anyway?"

"It's complicated, Nick." I said. "But I do need to tell you since I want you to hear this from me first."

"What's wrong?" He asked, gazing into my eyes.

Before I could answer him, the hotel phone rang.

"Just hold that thought." Nick said, as he picked up the phone.

"Hello?" He asked. "Hi, Tom, what's up?

I then saw Nick's face fall and wondered what was up.

"Alright, I'll let the guys know and we'll get our stuff packed up." He said. "Alright, Bye."

He hung up the phone and looked at me.

"That was Tom from Management." He explained to me. "We have to catch a flight to Las Vegas, Nevada tonight. We're performing tommorrow."

"Oh, well in that case, maybe I should start packing myself." I said as I started to get up. I felt Nick's hand go around my wrist as I did. A shudder went through my body at his touch.

"Wait, you were gonna tell me something before the phone rang. What was it?" He asked, letting go of my hand.

"Oh yeah." I said "Brace yourself because this is gonna sound unreal to you." I warned him. Nick nodded. I then proceeded to drop the bomb on him.

"I just found out from Drew that he's in love with me." I said to Nick.

"Come again?" Nick asked me, frowning in confusion.

"Your brother's gay. And in love with me."

"What?!" Nick shrieked. That can't be true?!"

After getting that out, Nick jumped up and started pacing the room.

"I wish it wasn't, but it is, Nick." I said. "Drew told me himself."

"When?" Nick asked me, furious. "When did he figure out that he was in love with you, Sean?"

"Nick, calm down or Drew will hear you." I said, trying to get Nick to keep his voice down.

"Fuck him." Nick said.

"Nick." I said, annoyed. "Don't talk like that. Drew can't help his feelings."

"Fine. Now, I'll ask you again: When did Drew figure out that he was in love with you?"

"Drew told me right after we broke up earlier today that he was in love with me. I was just as stunned as you are right now, when I heard this. I couldn't believe it. And Drew said he realized it the night we made love together for the first time."

"Well how convienent for Drew?!" Nick said, angrily. Then he turned to me. "And I'm guessing the two of you slept together?!"

That set me off. Nick was totally dumping on his brother's feelings and that pissed me off.

"Nick, do you hear yourself right now?" I hissed at him. "You're sounding like a jealous boyfriend. Do I need to remind you that I don't belong to you anymore?" I'm not the one that screwed up! You're the one who slept with Matt, not me!"

"Well I'm not gonna stand here and be told over and over again what a jerk I am, so I'm going to go tell the guys that we have to get ready to go." Nick said, angrily. "You can just leave if you want since I packed all your stuff up for you earlier before I got myself drunk again!"

And with that, he left the room and slammed the door behind him. I sighed and fought back the tears that were threatening to fall. I picked up the phone and called Ben and Matt's place. I heard Ben pick up on the second ring.

"Hello?" I heard him say.

"Hi, Ben, it's Sean." I said.

"Hey Sean, what's up?" He asked me.

"Oh not much." I said, sadly. I'm just calling to ask you if you still meant what you said about letting me stay there with you guys? Because I'd like to take you up on that offer now."

"Yeah, sure, Come on over, buddy." Ben said. "I'll wait for you to get here. Besides Me and Matt want to know how it went when you talked to Nick."

"Alright, I'll be there shortly." I told Ben. "The guys all have to leave to go to Las Vegas in a little while anyway, so I'm just gonna say goodbye to them and come straight over."

"Alright. Matt and I will be waiting." Ben said.

"Ok man, Bye." I said, hanging up the phone.

I then grabbed my luggage and set it by the door. Then I walked over to Drew's room and knocked on the door. He opened it and stood in front of me with an angry expression on his face. He looked like hell. His eyes were all puffy and red from crying.

"What the hell do you want?" Drew asked as he stood there in the doorway.

"I came to say goodbye." I said. "Nick got a call from Management and you guys have to get packed up for Las Vegas, because you're flying in tonight."

"Well thanks for the info. At least you're good for something." Drew said.

"Drew, please don't be like this." I said. "Can't you just put your feelings aside for right now and say goodbye to me right. I don't want to leave with you hating me now."

Drew's face softened a little. He let me in and closed the door behind him. He looked at me, the pain still evident in his eyes.

"But that what you don't understand, Sean." Drew said to me. "I don't hate you, I love you. More than you'll ever know."

I nodded. "Besides, this time apart will give me a chance to think about what I want. Right now, all I know is that I have strong feelings for both you and Nick and I have to decide which one of you gets my heart and which one of you I have to let go."

"Yeah, you're right about that." Drew said.

"And still, whatever I decide, one of you is going to get hurt and I don't want to hurt anyone."

"I know you don't." Drew said, pulling me into a hug. "But that's the way life goes sometimes. You can't protect everyone you care about from getting hurt. No matter how much you love them."

"I know, Drew. But it still doesn't make me feel any better. Oh and I told Nick that you were in love with me and needless to say he wasn't thrilled."

"I'll bet." But he'll cool off sooner or later." Drew said. "Right now, go and say goodbye to Jeff, Danny, and Justin before you go."

"Ok." I said, pulling Drew into another hug.

"Good Luck, Sean." Drew whispered. "Come back to us soon.

"I will." Goodbye Drew."

"Goodbye." He whispered. When I pulled back, he had tears in his eyes. Then I leaned in and kissed him on the lips. He put his arms around me as the kiss deepened. He pulled back, out of breath, as I walked to the door. I turned around and waved to him one last time before leaving his room.

I walked down to Jeff and Danny's room. Nick was coming down towards me, to his room. He didn't say anything and he stopped in front of me.

"So, this is it, huh?" He said, with no emotion in his voice.

"Yeah, I guess it is." I said. "Maybe time apart is just what we all need anyway. I'll have two months to decide between you and Drew and which one of you will be by boyfriend and which one of you I will have to let go.

"Good Luck with that, Sean." Nick said with a small smile. "Goodbye."

He started to try and hug me, but stopped himself and extended his hand out to me. I took it and we shook hands.

"Goodbye, Nick." I whispered to him.

Nick nodded and then headed back to his room. I continued walking down to Danny and Jeff's room.

They opened the door, just when I was about to knock.

"Hey, Sean." Danny said. "We're getting packed up. Are you ready?"

"Yeah, but not in the way that you mean." I said to him.

"What does that mean?" He asked.

I looked at him, taking in his gorgeous blue eyes, and his muscular build which was getting bigger since he and Jeff started working out together.

"I'm leaving, Danny. I'm going to stay with Ben and Matt for the two months that you and the guys are away." I told him.

"I wish you weren't." Danny said.

"I know you do. But I have to go." I said. I'm headed to Ben's now. I just came over to say goodbye to you, Jeff, and Justin."

"Alright, come in." Danny said.

I entered the rooma and Jeff and Justin stopped their packing and came over to me.

"So, you're really leaving us, huh?" Justin asked. "Well good luck and come back to us soon?" He said, giving me a hug.

"I will, Justin." I said, as I released him.

Justin told us he was going to Drew's room to pack up his stuff and he excused himself and left the room, leaving Danny, Jeff, and me alone. I saw this as the perfect opportunity to bring up the kiss I saw Danny and Jeff in earlier.

"So, you two, Do you want to explain that kiss I walked in on earlier?" I asked them both.

As soon as I asked that question, they both blushed.

"Oh. That." Jeff said. "Danny and I were just curious. We both just wanted to see what it was like, So we kissed."

"And?" I asked, pushing for more info.

"And nothing." Danny said. "Jeff and I talked about it earlier before Nick came and told us to get ready. We both came to the conclusion that there's no gay feelings between us and we're just friends. We always will be."

"I'm glad to hear that." I laughed. "For a minute there I was almost hoping for a quickie with you, Danny, before I left."

"Sorry to disappoint you." Danny laughed. "But the gay life is not for me."

"Ok, well give me a hug you two, So I can go." I said.

Danny grabbed me into a tight bearhug. I returned it.

"I'm gonna miss you, man." Danny said sadly. "It's not gonna be the same without you."

"I know. But I'll be back soon and you can always call my cellphone if you need to get ahold of me." I told him.

"I know." Danny said.

Then he released me and then Jeff was in front of me. He too grabbed me into a tight hug.

"Take care, Sean and whatever you do, don't seduce Ben and Matt." He said with a laugh.

"Don't worry, I won't." I laughed. "See you later, guys."

They both said goodbye to me as I left the room. I closed the door and headed back to Nick's room to get my luggage which was sitting by the door.

Nick was standing in the doorway, holding my luggage when I came to his room. He handed it to me and I took it from him with a small smile.

"Thanks, Nick." I whispered. "I'll see you soon."

"Yeah, I hope so." He said. "Goodbye. "I love you."

I couldn't say anything to him back. All I could do was nod to him as I left and headed to the elevator. I pushed the button and the elevator took me down to the lobby. I gave my keycard to the receptionist and checked out of the hotel. I hailed a cab and told the cab driver where to take me.

I arrived at Ben's house, where he and Matt where waiting for me on the porch. I paid the cab driver and he sped off. I walked with my luggage up to the porch where Ben and Matt where waiting.

"Hey Sean, how did it go with Nick?" Matt asked me.

"We broke up, Matt." I said to him. "It's over between me and Nick. And I also found out that his brother, Drew is in love with me."

"No way! Drew's gay?" Ben asked, wide eyed.

"Yeah. Apparently, Drew realized he was in love with me the same night that Nick and I made love."

"Wow. That is really astonishing." Matt said. "So what does that mean for you and Drew?"

"Well I do have feelings for Drew, but I still love Nick too. So I have to decide which one I want the most. That's why I asked to stay with you guys. Two months is all the time I need to decide which Lachey man will be left in my past and which one will be part of my future."

"Well We're going to try to help you anyway we can." Ben said. Then he looked at me again.

"You look tired." He stated. "Why don't you go up to bed now?"

"Yeah that sounds good to me. I'll see you two in the morning." I said to them.

I gave both Ben and Matt a kiss on the cheek and they said goodnight to me while I took my luggage upstairs and set it into the same guest room I stayed in before.

I unpacked my toothbrush and went to brush my teeth. After rinsing with mouthwash, I walked back into the guest room and got into bed.

I pulled the covers up over me and closed my eyes. I started thinking about Drew and Nick. One of them was going to win my heart, while another would be devastated.

I didn't know how it would all turn out, but all I knew is that it was going to be a hard decision. Perhaps the toughest decision of my life.

And it was going to be a long two months.

Well that's all for now. Stay tuned for the next installment.

What happens next? Oh, if you only knew!
