Saturday Night Part 9

Rachel had me in a state, a state I had never found myself in before. I had to try my best to prove I was the woman for her without scaring her off. It hit me that night over a glass of wine, I guess my poem did not hit home but I was listening to a Jim Post record when the lyrics stunned me because they hit home. I took a sheet of myt best stationary and began to write. Dear Rachel, I am not adequate to say what I feel in my own words but I just heard a lyric by local artist Ton Dundee and I had to transcribe it and send it along. Please do not give up on us. A long time can not be counted in hours, a long time can not be counted in days. I keep turning and turning like a bicycle wheel You know there is nothing that love can not heal But I needed you to show me love is real My love there is nothing love can not heal, please open up to me and we can work thiis out, I promise we can work it out. Your always, Dagney
