Chapter 8-Inner Thoughts

Brian helped Kevin onto his hotel bed. Kevin's entire vision was blurred with tears and his hair was in disarray. For more than a half hour all he could do was cry and hold Brian securely. Kevin finally calmed down enough to speak, and even when he did constant tears ran down his face. "Why Brian? Why?" Kevin said hoarsely, burrowing his head into the pillows. Brian's heart plummeted at Kevin's helplessness, cursing his "best friend" and for the first time felt nothing but disgust for more than one band mate. Kevin kept sobbing and Brian both knew that empty words of sympathy weren't needed. "I feel so stupid crying like a little girl." Kevin choked out. "I won't tell if you won't, and no one deserves to cry his heart out more than you." Brian told him, hugging him tighter. 'I hope Justin comes through, whatever he's doing right now.' Brian thought. *** Somewhere on the other side of town Justin Timberlake breezed through the doors of one of New York's finest restaurants with a serious look on his face. He was not here for pleasure, but for very important business. Justin sat down at a table and waited patiently for his dinner guest. Justin thought about what he was doing and felt himself sigh, hoping that he could get some dirt on AJ. After a few minutes, his guest walked into the restaurant. The man wore a black Armani suit, the look of a gentleman. His hair was fixed into a wavy form, flowing behind him as he walked. The look on his face matched the look on Justin's, clearly showing the severity of his past and the soon-to-be future. Justin stood, shaking hands with the familiar man, and then taking a seat. "Good to see you, Howie......." *** Nick sat on the edge of his bed, pondering what he had done to Kevin. To him it really felt like Kevin cared for him. But what AJ told him contrasted his gut feelings and Nick also felt he was wrong. Nick was so used to being wrong and being neglected that he chose to listen to AJ and also felt the constant need to feel secure. AJ walked into the room and saw Nick sitting on the bed. He frowned, seeing the look on Nick's angelic face. Nick was finally his and AJ was hell bent on keeping him. AJ couldn't explain it, but something inside of him yearned for Nick. Every fiber of his being wanted him. Not so much physically, but emotionally as well. Nick's care-free attitude and loving hugs filled AJ's empty life, and AJ needed him there, no matter who it hurt. Despite all his attempts on getting Nick by his natural abilities, he realized that Kevin was a major downfall. AJ knew that Nick must love him and the only way he could ever possess Nick is through physical activity. As he watched Nick, he feared that Nick was thinking of Kevin. He hated Kevin so much. AJ did everything in his power to win Nick's heart and all Kevin did was say a few sweet words and give Nick a good fuck. AJ's inner tormoil melted as he realized that Nick was his....and he was going to make Nick his. "You're way too overdressed Nick...." AJ started, pulling at Nick's clothes. Nick smiled, liking the feel of AJ, yet somewhere in the back of him mind lurked the vision of Kevin burned into his being. Nick took off his clothes, but as he entered AJ, he could only see Kevin.
