Gay

DISCLAMIER: I do not know the sexual orientation of ANY of the BSB. So stop breaking into my house, stealing Starburst, rapeing my dog, and smellign MY toes! (Don't ask where that came from!)

REMEMBER ME?: This is good ol Joey, author of I Need You Tonight (completed) and Star Crossed (in the works). For once it's not a Nick/Brian story. OMG! What's wrong with me?

RECOMMENDATIONS: I insist you read the following stories:

"Tears in Your Eyes" by Colleen, who so graciously gave me the name of this story.

"Because I Love You" Lucas, you da bomb. This is the source of most of my inspiration.

"Open Arms" Another tight ass story.

"Any Path" This story is starting out really good. It's the REAL reason BSB

Chapter 1

"Welcome to SoCal summer on MTV! Today on TRL we have the hottest boys in town, the BACKSTREET BOYS!!" Carson Daly announced the entrance of world famous Backstreet boys. The crowd cheered as they made their way onstage. They all sat down on chairs set up for the interview. From left to right sat Kevin, Brian, Nick, Howie and AJ.

"So how are things going with the new album?" Carson asked them.

"We just got finsihed recording in Sweden." Brian answered for the guys.

"So when is it due out?" Carson continued.

"About mid-September, early October. Hopefully sooner." Kevin answered.

"By the way Kevin, congrats on the whole marriage thing." Carson complemented.

"Thanks. Things have been going great with the wedding and working on the album." Kevin answered, lost in his own thoughts.

"It was about time he tied the knot. 9 out of 10 fans thought he was the gay one of the group." AJ joked lightly. Carson laughed.

"Better late than never!" Carson defended Kevin.

"For me it's Better never than late." Nick joked.

"You wouldn't know what to do if a woman wanted to marry you." AJ laughed.

"Crawl in a hole and die." Brian answered, receiving a swat from Nick.

"Congrats to you too Brian for your engagement. Any dates set?" Carson interrupted.

"Nope. Still waiting." Brian answered.

"How are things in your life, Nick?" Carson asked Nick.

"Still single. I'm not too old, yet." Nick joked.

"And how about you, Howie? Anyone special?" Carson asked suggestively.

"Oh me? Nope. I think me and the ladies are at a standstill right now, with all the work we're doing lately." Howie replied.

"AJ, are you still with Amanda?" Carson asked.

"No. We had an arguement not too long ago. We were on...opposite sides of an issue." AJ sadly replied, thinking of that night only two days ago.

"AJ, honey, what's wrong with you lately? You've been spending more time with your band mates than me! You don't call, write, anything! And now you're barely even speaking to me! Tell me the truth, what's wrong with you?" Amanda demanded, nearly screaming in aggrevation at AJ. AJ dumbly sat there, knowing he had to tell her what was wrong.

"Amanda, I love someone else, and I can't tell you who it is. I'm sorry." AJ sadly told her. Amanda stared coldly at him.

"How long have you felt this way?" Amanda asked.

"About 10 years now." AJ quietly told her. Amanda rolled her eyes at this.

"And you never told the poor girl?" Amanda asked demandingly. AJ cringed at her words.

"I would have if it was a girl." AJ said even quieter than before. Amanda stood shocked at his words.

"I was dating a FAG?! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME YOU SICK BASTARD?!" Amanda yelled at the top of her lungs, throwing one of her vases to the floor.

"I was trying to hide my true colors. I can't help it..." "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!!" Amanda screamed, pushing him out the door. The door slammed and AJ stood at her door, silently crying to himself. He got into his car and headed to his mom's house.

"Well, it was really nice talking to y'all. Come back again." Carson told them, getting up to shake their hands. After a few minutes, the five BSB were eating at a local resturant.

"What is this? It looks like someone puked on my plate!" Nick exclaimed.

"It's called Chinese, Nick. We're only eating 'Chunks and Shit' because Howie likes it." AJ grunted, slightly smiling at Howie.

"Hey! This is fine cuisine." Howie defended.

"No, THAT'S fine cuisine." Nick stated, staring at a sexy woman a few feet from them.

"Talk to her man." AJ stated.

"No way." Nick shyly answered, looking down at the table.

"Why not? She's really sexy. Hell, I'd do her in a New York minute, but I'd take me a Texas time to do it!" AJ announced. The other four rolled their eyes.

"What? Don't y'all tell me y'all never get horney. Not with ::cough:: Mr. ::cough:: Jack-off." AJ said, pointing at Nick. Everyone laughed as Nick hit AJ with a chop stick.

"Now just look at that shit!" AJ announced, pointing. Two guys were holding hands, eating and looking into each other's eyes.

"What's the big deal?" Brian asked, sniffing at the food that dangled from his fork.

"The big deal?! They're so damn sick! I don't want to see them act like that." AJ said, utterly disgusted.

"Then don't look. It's their business anyways." Kevin told him.

"Still, I think it's sick. Fudge packers."

AJ sat next to his mom, drinking a cup of hot tea. Denise stared at her son, waiting for him to speak. All of his life she had taken care of her son through thick and thin. Nothing in this world would tear him away from her. Nothing.

"Mom, I broke up with Amanda." AJ stated firmly. Denise hugged her son reassuringly.

"Why?" Denise asked. AJ's eyes clouded over. He let go of his mom and stared at her loving face. 'What do I do if she doesn't accept me? She's all I have left. Maybe this was a bad idea.' AJ thought. "Because I'm....I'm...I'm in love with someone else." AJ stuttered out, kicking himself for being so weak.

"Who's the lucky girl?" Denise asked her only son. AJ cringed, feeling guilty already.

"It's a guy, mom." AJ cried out, turning to leave. Denise caught him and pulled him close.

"It's their own choice, J. Why do you hate fags so much?" Nick asked curiously.

"Why do you play nintendo? That's a stupid question. They're sick. Need I remind everyone that it was Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve?" AJ countered Nick's question.

"What if someone hated McDonalds as much as you hate fags, hypathetically speaking. Wouldn't you be upset that they judged you by the food you eat?" Kevin asked AJ.

"I don't recall God saying it was wrong to eat a hamburger, but I don't really give a shit about it. It's just plain sick." AJ defended.

"They're not all bad. I had some really good gay friends in high school." Brian added to the arguement. AJ snorted.

"And what are they now? Posing for gay magazines and giving handjobs for cash....no, coupons?!" AJ asked, getting irritated.

"Like Brian said, not all are bad. Some are really nice actually. Better than, let's say, a guy who fucks any piece of ass that comes his way?" Howie stated, staring directly at AJ as he said this.

"I'm glad you're in love sweety." Denise told AJ, holding his crying and shaking near hers. AJ hugged her fiercely, relieved that she didn't hate him.

"How long have you known you were gay.?" Denise asked him.

"Around 10 years." AJ stated sadly.

"And how long have you been in love with this person?" Denise continued.

"10 years, 7 months, and 14 days." AJ remarked. Denise raised her eyebrows.

"You counted?" Denise asked, amazed. 'He really has it bad.' Denise thought to herself.

"Who's the lucky guy?" Denise asked slowly. AJ knew this was coming next. AJ took a deep breath as he stepped in front of his mom.

"Howie."

Howie excused himself and stalked away. Brian shot AJ a disapproving look as he went after Howie. AJ sunk in his seat, not daring to let Nick and Kevin see his eyes begin to mist over.

"Howie! Wait! He doesn't know!" Brian yelled after Howie. Howie barged into the restroom.

"Of coarse he doesn't! And not me, you, Nick or Kevin are going to tell! God, Brian, he can't find out I'm gay. He just can't." Howie sighed, sinking to the floor. Brian sighed and hugged Howie's shaking frame.

"If he found out, he'd hate me forever and quit. He's my best friend and I want to see him happy. He can't know." Howie bawled out, bursting into tears. Brian shook his head slightly before enveloping his friend into another hug. After a few minutes, Howie's eyes had dried and he was ready to go back.

"What if he finds out?" Howie asked nervously. Brian smiled sympathetically at his friend.

"He won't. Not for a long time." Brian assured him.

See you when I see you!
