Tommy and Tanner, chapter 29
"I think I am too," Devin greeted Andy in the morning, grinning widely.
"Am what?"
"I think I'm in love too."
"Uh, I thought you were asleep." Andy blushed.
"Well, you were wrong! I know some guys are only interested in having sex and nothing more, but that's not what I want with you. I know you're not ready to promise your heart forever, and I might not be either, but I've come to care for you a lot in a very short time."
"Yeah I feel that way too. I think you're hot and I really like how it feels when we're naked and making out, but it's more than that. You're beautiful on the inside as well. Seeing how you treat your siblings and your parents makes me know that you're a really good guy as well as a stud!"
"You're making me blush! But I get the same vibes about you. You knew that you might piss me off and even lose me by interfering when you thought I was hurting Nick. You were more concerned about a little boy's welfare than your own desires!"
"Now you're going to make me blush too.
"Good."
"Do you think it smells like sex in here?" Andy sniffed, changing the subject.
"Maybe just a little. Let's keep the door closed all day to preserve it so I can enjoy the scent tonight when I'm getting off alone."
The boys' hardons were inspiring them to engage in a quickie when they were jolted back to reality by someone pounding on the door.
"I'm hungry," Nikki said. "Hey, how come this door is locked? Get up and make breakfast."
"I think we just got our marching orders in no uncertain terms," Devin giggled. "Maybe we can convince the kids to have a nap later..."
"I've texted Andy several times with no answer," Tommy said to Tanner as they were having a leisurely breakfast.
"Yeah, me too. I hope nothing's wrong. Maybe we should call their land line."
A few minutes later, Tommy had talked to Marla Roberts who had told him to call Devin's house. She happened to have the number handy.
"Hey Devin, how's it hangin'?" Tommy grinned at his phone.
"We're hangin' loose here, but we're getting cabin fever from being cooped up with the kids for the second day in a row." Devin answered.
"Too bad. I've been trying to text Andy but he's not answering. I take it he's there."
"Yup, he shut off his phone to save the battery because my charger doesn't fit his. I'll get him."
"You don't have to; we were worried when we couldn't raise him. Can you guys come and stay over tonight? We're getting a little stir-crazy too."
"I'm not sure. The `rents won't be home until after 6:00 and I'll have to get dinner on the table by then. It could be late."
"Okay, let me work on something here and get back to you."
After Tommy got off the phone, he asked Teri what they were having for dinner. She kidded him about worrying over his evening meal when the first one hadn't had time to settle. They teased back and forth as they often did.
Eventually he got around to telling her what he wanted to do. He thought maybe they could have Devin's family and Andy over for dinner and that the two teens could spend the night. He explained Devin's plight in having to plan and cook the meal after watching his siblings all day.
Teri hesitated for a moment and then figured out how she could pull it off without a lot of stress. She thought of the large spiral-cut ham in the freezer that she'd purchased for Christmas but hadn't used because her mother had brought a huge turkey. All she would need were a few yams and some extra greens for making a salad.
"If I can get someone to go out for a few groceries, I'll make it work." Teri smiled. "I can empathize with a working mother and her oldest kid who has to take up the slack."
"We can get to the store somehow," Tommy assured her. "Can I call and invite them?"
"Yes you MAY." Teri grinned, correcting him. "We'd better make sure they can come before I start thawing the meat."
While Teri was planning the menu, Andy was calling his mother to get permission to stay over at the Torrance's house. Marla complained mildly that she wouldn't know him by the time she saw him again and that he should come home at least long enough to get fresh clothes and toiletries. But he reminded her that the other guys were about the same size he was so he could borrow things to wear. Also, Tommy and Tanner had a toothbrush with his name on it in their medicine cabinet.
Of course she gave her permission. Marla realized that her son was growing up and needed to follow his own path. Given the boys he had chosen as companions, she felt his road would be lined with people who would support him and not lead him astray.
Devin managed to call his mom to get her okay to accept the invitation. It looked like everything was falling into place.
In Lee's condo, there was nary a word of complaint about being snowed in. He had enough food in the pantry and freezer that there was no need to go out for several days as long as they didn't drink a lot of milk. So far they'd had more "man-milk" than 2%.
One thing that had become quite apparent while they were "trapped" in the same house was that they were remarkably compatible. Peter no longer felt the need to wait to make a commitment. As they lay together in the afterglow of their Saturday afternoon coupling, he brought up the subject.
"I'm ready," he announced with a grin, knowing his statement was likely to be misunderstood.
"Okay. You've just about worn me out!" Lee sighed. "But if you want it again right now, I'll do my best to please you."
"No, not for that, silly! I'm ready to marry you if you want."
"I DO want!"
"Then let's use some of our extended vacation to plan our wedding. Do you want to quietly elope in Iowa? You don't have any blood kin other than Tanner."
"You make it sound like we're alone in the world with no one to care. We both have Tanner's whole family. It wouldn't be right not to include them if they want to be there, and given how they've adopted us, I'm guessing they will," Lee said.
"You're right. I wonder if we could do it during spring break or if we should wait until summer. Teri's due date is in April. It might be difficult for her to travel, although it's not that far."
"Hmm, we might be better off to wait till June. The weather would be nicer and we could have an outdoor affair. Maybe we could even get Mom here from Florida."
"That would be really cool! Do you think this Herbert guy she's been seeing would want to come too?"
"I don't know, but we should make the invitation to her `and friend' and that would let her decide. If he does come, it would give us a chance to look him over to see if he's good enough for her!
Now what was it you were saying about being ready awhile ago? I think I'm up for it again if you're interested."
It looked like another holiday dinner with the Torrance clan, the Mosbeck family, and Andy all sitting around the large table in the dining room. Teri had seated the adults toward one end, putting spouses on opposite sides to foster more conversation. She had placed the twins across from each other and between their parents and the teens. That way a parent would be handy in case they needed help passing bowls of food or cutting their meat. It all worked out well.
"Teri, you have no idea how much we appreciate this!" Cathy enthused. "Devin does a wonderful job of making meals for us when we don't have time to cook, but the poor kid really needed a break today. Thank you very much!"
(Andy noticed that Devin blushed at his mother's public recognition of the responsibility that he often had to bear.)
"You are certainly welcome. It wasn't a big chore, Tim's buddy came by on the snowmobile to take him to the grocery store, Tucker made the cookies for dessert, and Tanner and Tommy made the Jell-O and tossed salad. So basically I put the ham and the yams in the oven and let it do its thing."
"You guys will make someone good wives," Devin teased the boys.
"Don't listen to him," Andy spoke up. "That's what I told him yesterday when he was fussing over dinner."
"In any event, it's always good for a man to know his way around the kitchen," Tark interjected. "There are guys who would starve to death without artery clogging fast-food places."
"Too many of them go down that route!" Charley complained. "We had several heart attack victims in the past two days. In all cases but one, the men were out of shape and trying to move mountains of snow. Two of them are awaiting stents next week and one had the procedure yesterday despite our skeleton staff because it was dangerous to wait. If everyone ate balanced diets and kept fit, this country would be a lot healthier and insurance rates would be lower too!"
"You'll have to excuse Charley; he gets wound up on the subject." Cathy smiled. "But he is right. Looking at the food on this table and the trim people around it, I can see that you eat right,"
"How come she's kinda fat?" Nikki asked Devin in a stage whisper.
"Uh, well, uh..."
"May I tell her?" Teri asked, looking at the Mosebeck's.
Charley and Cathy nodded their assent. It was a great opportunity to teach their younger children just enough about the facts of life to satisfy their curiosity without having "the talk" just yet.
"There is a baby girl growing in my tummy." Teri continued. "Her name is Tori and she should be born in April. She's so active that I first thought she might be a boy."
"Does she get food on her when you eat?"
"No, honey, she's not in that tummy. She's in a kind of sac made out of skin where the food doesn't go.
"Cool! Was I in a sack like that, Mommy?"
"Yes you were Nikki," Cathy answered. "Nick was in there too."
"Wow, you must have looked really fat!"
"Yes I did," Cathy admitted.
"Oh, little Tori is waking up and kicking," Teri exclaimed.
"Can I see?" Nikki asked excitedly.
"Please say, `may I see,'" her mother corrected.
"May I?"
"Certainly. Come over here and put your hands on my stomach."
"Wow. I can feel her moving! It's so cool!"
"Nick, would you like to feel too?" Teri asked.
Nick was there in a flash. He had wanted to be involved, but, unlike his sister, had been too shy to ask. His smile lit up the room as he also had a firsthand experience of observing developing life.
When the excitement over Tori quieted down, Teri announced that it was time for dessert.
"Tommy, would you please dish up the sherbet while Tucker brings in his cookies?"
"I'm on it, Mom." Tommy said as he jumped up.
Tanner was right with him, of course. A few minutes later, they came in bearing trays with small stemmed dishes of rainbow sherbet sitting on little plates which provided a place to put a cookie.
"Oh your presentation is very beautiful and these cookies are delicious!" Cathy announced. "They're like the ones my mother used to make."
Tucker beamed with pride.
"They're definitely from scratch. Do you share your recipe?"
"It's really Grandma Dorothy's recipe; I'll print you off a copy from the recipe file," Tucker offered.
"Thanks! I have to make these."
"Or, I can," Devin said.
"You'll probably be the one to carry through like you always do," Cathy admitted. "Speaking of being responsible, we all need to help Teri clear the table and put things away."
"No, that's not necessary. Please come with us into the parlor so we can continue to visit. The boys already agreed to take care of the table and the food. They have been even more helpful than usual since I'm expecting.
When the table was cleared, the boys wanted to go upstairs and hang out. That left the twins at loose ends. So, Tim took them into the family room to watch a "Winnie the Pooh" video.
Tuck wasn't sure where he fit in until Andy put his hand on the back of Tuck's neck and guided him along with the others. Tuck smiled. It was cool to be included by his brothers' friends.
An hour later as Devin's family left amid many expressions of thanks, the boys headed back upstairs again. Tim challenged Tucker to a video game so that the other four guys could hang out. Tuck knew that Tim was trying to let them do their thing without him, but he didn't mind because he enjoyed spending time with his oldest brother and was becoming more like him every day and that was a good thing.
No one stayed up too late because they were going to try to get to church in the morning if the streets permitted. In Tommy and Tanner's room, there would be plenty of cuddling and quite possibly some fooling around if anyone dared to break the ice and start it.
"So, are you guys dating?" Tanner asked their guests.
"We WERE just going to be good buddies, but I think you could say that we're boyfriends," Andy replied. "I was the one who said we shouldn't rush into things, and I was the first to use the `l' word."
"Ooh, you guys are moving right along," Tommy exclaimed. "We'd known each other like forever, but still didn't become a couple that quickly."
"Yeah, but we had the advantage of having already come out. As I recall, you said you fell in love before you admitted to being gay," Devin said.
They talked about the pros and cons of young love and on whether it was likely to last into, and through, college. All agreed that it was possible if they worked at it and that they'd have to take it one day at a time.
When they ceased talking, they didn't go to sleep immediately. There was a certain amount of rustling of sheets as each guy helped his lover out of his underwear.
Devin drew in his breath sharply when he felt Andy's cold hands on his balls. It was very stimulating. In a way it made him hotter than he'd been already and Andy's hands got warmed in the process.
There seemed to be some activity under the covers on the other bed too. Tommy giggled softly as Tanner ran the tips of his fingers down his abs.
"Are you guys making out?" Devin finally got bold enough to ask.
"Um, maybe," was Tanner's breathless reply. "Don't let us keep you awake if you need your rest."
"Maybe we need something else more," Andy giggled.
"Do whatever you feel," Tommy encouraged. "Here's some Kleenex in case you need it for cleanup; you know like if you have a runny nose," he snickered, tossing the box between the beds.
The idea of doing something sexual in the company of their friends felt comfortable and more than a little exciting. Tommy climbed on top of Tanner and started rubbing their bodies together while kissing and nibbling on his lover's face and ears. Catching a glimpse of what the others were doing, Andy decided to follow suit. Pretty soon the room was filled with sounds of panting and moaning.
"I'm gonna cum!" Tanner announced in a hoarse whisper.
Tommy threw back the covers, turned his body around, and took Tanner's throbbing boner into his mouth in the nick of time. Tanner swallowed his too. After a few more thrusts, they both moaned loudly as they shared the fruit of their loins.
Their vocal finale inspired Andy and Devin to do the same thing with the same results.
"That was HOT!" Devin announced when he and Andy broke their post-orgasmic kiss.
"Hell yes!" Tanner agreed, turning on the bedside lamp ostensibly to check on what cleanup was necessary.
In the soft light, they all had a good look at each other's hardons for the first time. The aroma of sex and the sight of all that hot teen meat kept them from softening up like they might have. No one hid his junk. Neither did anyone pretend not to check each other out.
The very air was thick with lust. Tommy sensuously licked his way from Tanner's nipples southward toward his throbbing tool. Andy and Devin started to make out again. Tanner managed to reach over and turn out the light.
Once it was dark, they made out with abandon. Both couples assumed the 69 position almost immediately. Since they'd recently cum, it would take longer to build the feelings back up again. However, the realization that they were not doing it in complete privacy made everyone hornier and sped up the process.
Devin was the first to feel the old familiar tingle radiating from his groin to every cell in his young body. He began to moan in a kind of sexy rhythm. His "tune" was contagious and the others soon joined in the chorus. Everyone's breathing became erratic.
"Mmm, mmm, mmm!" Devin expressed in a tone muffled by Andy's cock that was firmly planted in his mouth.
A second later, Devin blasted a shot nearly as powerful as he'd done a half hour before. The taste of his cum triggered Andy's orgasm. He too produced a healthy load.
Because they knew each other's bodies more intimately, Tanner and Tommy managed to keep each other on edge a little longer, but not much. When Tanner quickly licked his middle finger and ran it across Tommy's rosebud, it was all over. The boys' orgasms happened almost simultaneously because they were so in tune with each other.
"Wow that was HOT!" Devin exclaimed. "I'm one of those naive virgins who never even got into a jack-off session in scouts. In fact, I quit when I started to make cum because I was afraid I'd do something with another boy and get caught and get outed. I already knew I was different."
"We saw some boys in a circl-jerk once, but we didn't join them." Tanner said. "I figured my father would find out and I'd be punished."
"I knew I wouldn't get punished," Tommy said. "But I didn't want to do anything that would make me lose Tanner as my best bud."
"We'd better get to sleep," Andy reminded them. "Is anybody going to put their underwear back on?"
"Hell no!" Tanner answered. "We've all seen each other hard as can be and there's no reason for any embarrassment over wood in the morning."
With that settled, the lovers snuggled together enjoying their skin to skin contact while they awaited the sandman. Sleep soon transported them to pleasant dreams.
Author's notes: I can't remember which reader once called me an email slut, but he was pretty close to the target. I must have whined convincingly last time because a lot of you wrote to me. The list includes: Brett H (110), Paul F, Walt S, Douglas and Lawrence, Jim C (and Richard), DJ, Vann, Bill T, Trish R, Roger L, Bill K, Rutabaga, Tim S(111), Danny A, Anthony B, Tom A, JTR, Jim W, RC, Anon (112), Bert H, Tony W, Bobby M, Wayne, Rob O, and Paul R.
JTR wants to thank all of you who prayed for her. She's had a biopsy and is awaiting the test results in a few days. She is anticipating surgery toward the end of August (28th as I recall).
I'm recommending "Connected" by KitKatKid under the high school section. So far, it's really cool. This story had depth. It's not simply a "boy meets boy and they go to bed" type of tale. If you read his work, please be sure to email your words of encouragement.
Iowa prides itself on being "first in the nation" for presidential campaigns. It brings in quite a bit of revenue as well as bragging rights. It's a mixed blessing at best since the TV ads are already surfacing. Pity us with about 15 months of that to go!
