Time flew by. I settled in quite nicely in my new job as a sales manager. We had a very nice party for Roberto to thank him for the loyal services. It was very emotional as everybody had at least something to say about him. He had been a fantastic manager and a very good colleague. We sure would miss him around. Our boss gave him a choice of money or a brand new car. He took the car as he had had company cars since he started at the dealership and was about to be without one. There was only one black cloud in the blue sky of the party. Just as the boss had predicted, one of the older salesman was drop dead jealous that I had received Roberto's job and not him. He was at the party but clearly in a bad mood. He had far too much to drink and his speech was accordingly. He started to pick on me for being the boss' little friend and other comments and remarks that were not appropriate. Boss tried desperately to calm him down and urged him to shut up. He didn't. The result was that he was asked to leave the party immediately and to present himself the following morning in the boss' office. Despite that incident, the party went well and around midnight we all went home. My brand new Jaguar had a scratch along the side of the car that was clearly made in bad intention and with something sharp like a key. I called my boss to come over and have a look at it and we both knew immediately how that scratch had come on my car. Boss said to not worry about it, that the guys from body shop would repair that in no time. The jealous salesman was fired and we didn't hear from him anymore. Of course we were short of one man in the show-room and it was my responsibility to hire a new man or woman.

Daniel had settled in quite nicely at his new job as well. He was doing a fantastic job and when you looked at the shows the television was broadcasting, you could actually see that there was someone new in command. The shows had a fresh new air about them. The choreography was younger and refreshed, as well as the costumes and the decors. The television had promised him carte blanche and you could see Daniel was using it to the best of his abilities. The producer that had been fired, had also been condemned and it was almost sure he would never again work in this branch, except maybe in a foreign country. Some said he had left town and even the state. One thing was sure: he wasn't seen around anymore.

Both Daniel and I were happy how all things turned out. One night, when I got home, Daniel was not there yet. I knew he had a lot of rehearsals and those often got into the late hours. I took off my working clothes and hung them up carefully. I went to the bathroom and took a hot shower. When the water was turning cold I knew I had been under the spray of water a little too long. I got out, dried myself, and put on some sweat pants and a T-shirt. About half an hour later, Daniel came in and I could see that happy smile on his face, which was combined with tiredness. He called it a healthy tiredness as it came from working hard and dancing to perfection. The television was switched on, but we weren't paying any attention. Our attention went to each other and talking about how ours days had been.

The weekends were often spent at my parent's place. They just loved Daniel and he gave them his love in return. We couldn't all be happier. On one of our visits, my mother asked me:

  • Do you remember the cottage about ten miles from here? You know, the one ion the curve of the road that leads northwards?

I remembered the cottage quite well. I had even stopped with Daniel to look at it and we both loved it. It stood in a nice garden, not too big nor too small. There were huge threes of hundreds of years in the yard and nice flowerbeds in front of the house. It almost looked like a house of a fairy tale.

  • I never told you, but that cottage is mine, my mother said. The lady who was living in it died a few weeks ago, and the house is now empty. I had to refurbish it a little and have some up-to-date works done. If you still love it like you did when you were younger, I guess it is yours. Consider it as a wedding present!

I was over the moon and so was Daniel. We had not seen the cottage inside but if my mother had refurbished it, I knew it was going to be more than OK. In my heart I didn't doubt for a second that Daniel and I would be happy there. I looked over to him and saw his now famous smile on his face. He seemed happy as well with that big news. Of course, we knew we would have more distance to drive to our jobs, but with the cars we had it would almost be welcome. As we had just finished lunch, my mother suggested we would go over and see it inside out, as she had the keys now.

We never got all four in my car so quickly. I didn't need any instructions to get there, as I knew perfectly well where the cottage was standing. From the outside, it looked smaller than what I had in my mind, but it was absolutely lovely. I stopped the car at the double garage door and we got out. My mother opened the front door and we went in. You could see the constructor had done a lot of work, but the essentials had been kept untouched. The wooden floors had been polished. The rustic kitchen was brand new with all the modern appliances you could imagine, but conserving the rustic appearance. There was a huge fireplace in the living room. The third bedroom had been remodeled into a huge bathroom and the existing bathroom was now a walk-in closet. The guestroom had been reduced a little to make place for a smaller bathroom. The master bedroom had French doors leading to the backyard. Mum had even thought about installing a swimming pool. Oh no, not of Olympic dimensions, but more a poll to swim some laps and refresh in the hot summer months. Threes and bushes made the backyard a really secluded place with a lot of privacy. The place was unfurnished, but with both our salaries, we would have no problem at all in decorating the place to our liking.

  • You like it? my mother asked.

  • Of course Mum, we like it. We not only like it, we love it!

I took my Mum in my arms and kissed her on her cheek, thanking her profusely. Daniel did the same and gave a hug to my father. As if my Mum had prepared all this just for us, and I was sure she had, she opened one of the drawers of the kitchen and handed me some papers saying:

  • Here you have the floor plans of the house, with all the exact dimensions. It will be useful when you go furniture shopping. Here you have the name and the address of a lady friend of mine who can make all the curtains. Here you have the name and the address of a painter if any of the colors are not to your liking. The electricity and the water are connected as well as the telephone line and the Internet connections. Here you have the name and the phone number of the lady who came to help the previous tenant. She already agreed to come and do the cleaning, washing and ironing. And this is the deed that says the house is yours. Lloyd, don't be upset, but the house is on both your names.

Mum had really thought about everything! Everything was perfect! I looked over at Daniel. I could see the sparkle in his eyes and knew that everything was perfect indeed. He looked at me and said:

  • You see! I told you already a thousand times that together we would reach incredible heights. This place has fantastic vibrations. I feel the positivity in this place from the first step I made in it. This house is blessed. We will be happy here!

I took him in my arms and brushed my lips against his. We didn't go over to passionate kissing as my parents were looking at us. Mum handed us each a set of keys and promised help if we needed for the decoration.

We drove back to my parent's house and left them at the entrance. Driving back, Daniel asked if we could to the cottage again. I didn't know why, but I complied. As we approached the cottage the sun was already setting. Nonetheless, I had the sensation that the little house was surrounded by a kind of aura.

  • Yes! exclaimed Daniel. I knew it. I felt it when we were there.

At first I didn't have a clue what he was talking about, but getting closer to the house I could clearly see it, just as Daniel did. The house was indeed surrounded by a glow in red and golden nuances. The aura was moving slowly and even came to a total halt as I stopped in front of the house. Daniel jumped out of the car and I saw the aura engulfing him. He looked back at me and urged me to join him. I got out of the car, but was not feeling at ease as Daniel was. He told me to come closer and as I got close enough, he took me in his arms. I saw and felt the red golden glow surround me and suddenly I felt at ease and even more. I felt at peace! I had an inner sensation that was difficult to describe. I felt ... light. Daniel and I were in a close embrace and we felt like floating. I didn't remember moving the slightest, but we were like pulled towards the house. Daniel took out his keys and they seemed like shinning. Daniel had the most beautiful smile on his face and his eyes were sparkling. He radiated happiness. Even though the sun disappeared at the horizon, we didn't need to switch any light on. The red golden glow was inside the house and we could see everything around us.

  • I told you, said Daniel. This house is blessed and the Universe is welcoming us. We actually receive the permission to come and live here. I told you already that together we would reach incredible heights and I confirm it. We have the blessing of the angels to lead our lives here. Oh Lloyd! You can't imagine how happy I am right now, knowing we received the perfect place to live. If you think about it, since the accident we have received so much. Ok, I had to go through pain and humiliation, but it was more than worth it. The first time I saw you, I saw that same red golden glow around you. At first I thought it was the effect of the medication I received, but now I know it wasn't. You are my angel Lloyd!

My eyes got moist. Daniel had a way to talk to me and even I didn't always understand a hundred percent of what he was saying, it always gave me a sensation of peace and safety. The red golden glow that surrounded us was something totally new to me and, yes, it scared me a little. Daniel seemed to sense it and told me to trust in what I saw and what I felt. He held me in his arms and I saw his face approaching mine. His lips brushed against mine and even that kiss had a new feeling to it. It was electrifying. Our lips were like magnets, naturally and inevitably attracted to each other. Daniel's arm around my neck and mine around his waist, were pulling us together with an outside strength that surprised us. I could feel Daniel's body pressed against mine and it felt so right! Our love and our lust took over and we were soon kissing with a newfound passion. It was as if the aura was giving us an energy we had not felt before. I felt the need to feel Daniel against me, but without the clothes that prevented us to feel each other properly. I started to unbutton Daniel's shirt and his hands followed my lead. There was no urgency in our actions. There was only peace and an incredible feeling of well- being. I was sliding Daniel's shirt over his shoulders as I felt mine falling to the floor. Our naked chests touched again and we could feel each other's heartbeat going at a normal rate. We kissed as id our lives depended on it. We were in perfect unison. Even our hands moved at the same rate and rubbing our skins, sending shivers through our whole body. As we were pressed together, we could feel we both were hard as steel. Without breaking our kiss I unfastened his belt as he did with mine. Our trousers fell around our ankles and we got out off them. We were standing there, naked, in the center of our soon to be living room, surrounded by that red golden aura that got brighter with the minute.

There was no doubt about the fact that we were going to make love in the most special way we had ever done before. We didn't need the Bolero of Ravel to tell us which rhythm we had to follow. Our bodies were in perfect communion and each feathery touch was sending jolts of pleasure from our heads to our toes. Our hands roamed over the other's body and we felt the tingling in each piece of skin and flesh. Slowly and teasingly, Daniel went through his knees and his face was at level with my crotch. He opened his mouth wide and engulfed my cock in it. Where normally seen he started bobbing up and down immediately, he nursed my cock-head on his tongue and between his lips. His hands were on my buttocks and I only thought of giving myself to him in every way possible. As I opened my eyes to see my cock disappear between his lips, I noticed that the red golden glow that surrounded us had turned to a pinkish yellow aura. It was beautiful and so according to the feelings Daniel was giving me. I felt my knees trembling and I dropped to them in front of Daniel. Our mouth met again and we devoured each other. Daniel fell backwards on his hands and I saw his magnificent rod pointing to the ceiling. I was hungry for it. I leaned down and swallowed his manhood deep in my throat. I had learned over time to do it without having my gag reflex kicking in. I sucked hungrily and I was rewarded by his moaning and groaning. I could feel it pulse in my throat and knew he was going to reach his climax soon, but that was, for once, not the purpose. We were in perfect union and that was all that mattered.

Daniel pushed me off his manhood and immediately locked his lips with mine once more. I collapsed on top of him. Strangely enough the wooden floor didn't feel hard or cold. We kissed and kissed, and kissed. We could have enough of the other. This was like a sign from above. This was lovemaking in the purest sense of the word. I was on top of Daniel and he locked his ankles just above the lower part of my back. Doing so, my cock pointed directly at his most private entrance. Just the few most appropriate movements of my hips made me aim my cock at his puckered hole and without the need of any lubrication I entered him slowly but with determination. I didn't know if I was hurting him, but looking at his face I could see only pleasure. I pushed further in till I was in to the hilt. The aura surrounding is turned bluish white with a silver lining. I had never seen anything so beautiful. I started pumping in and out of my lover, my husband. He loved it as his moans were of pure ecstasy. My goal was not to shoot my load into him. My purpose was to give him the most exquisite pleasure and looking at his face, I was succeeding pretty well. Daniel abandoned himself to my ministrations and the only thing I wanted was that this moment would never end.

With his dancer's ability, he suddenly pushed himself up and wrapped his arms around my neck, pushing me backwards. As he did that, my cock slipped out of him. He crawled over me and soon I was on my back with Daniel between my legs. Instinctively I wrapped my legs around his lower back and although I was afraid of the initial pain, his cock entering me was pure bliss. He pushed all my buttons and most of it my prostate. My cock, which was trapped between our bellies, oozed pre-cum like a faucet. His belly rubbing over my cock was sending me quickly to the edge, but not over it. He kissed me with a passion that was totally new! I could feel his tongue reaching my throat and his hands reaching parts of my body I didn't even knew I had. I was feeling more alive than ever.

The friction of our bodies brought us back to earth. We knew our juices were on the verge of leaving our bodies. Daniel withdrew from my ass and we spurted our loads on my belly. We had never come so intensely and shot so many loads. Daniel collapsed on top of me and our mouth were again locked together.

When we opened our eyes, the aura was blinding us. It was a white silver light that increased in intensity. We had to protect our eyes as the light got too bright, but soon, as the light got too bright, it disappeared completely and we were in the dark. I took my cell phone to have some light. As I watched the hour that was on display, I realized we had been making love for over two hours. We got up from the floor and dressed. We didn't say anything, but we both knew something rally special had happened. We left the house, closed the door and got into my car. We drove to town, knowing our love was even stronger than a few hours before. As we entered my apartment, we felt something like emptiness. This place was not ours anymore. I asked Daniel what his program was for the coming days and he said he could easily get some time off, although I hadn't asked him. I took my cell phone and called my boss telling him I needed a few days off. Daniel did the same and we suddenly had a mini vacation in front of us.

We went furniture shopping. Daniel had a fantastic sense of decoration and when he saw something he had the ability of explaining me where it would go and what it would look like in combination with the other things we had seen. I soon gave up saying what I liked as Daniel's tastes were absolutely perfect. Sometimes he just said to me a particular piece of furniture had to come with us as he saw a glow around it. I didn't doubt his confidence in auras.

Two days later we were standing at the front door of the cottage. There was literally a parade of trucks, delivering the things we had bought. At one point there were about twelve people putting furniture together. Rugs were spread out, furniture put into place; the bed was mounted in no time. The closet in the bedroom was soon full with sheets and interior linens. A massive wooden table was in the dinning room, surrounded by nice sculpted chairs. The sofas in the living room were inviting anyone to sit down. Daniel was giving his instructions and before the sunset, we could say we had a home! The supermarket had delivered their goods. The movers had emptied my downtown apartment and in less than four days, we were completely settled down.

Our first visitors were, of course, my parents. Mum was stunned with what Daniel did to the cottage. She even said that if she had known, she would have kept the cottage to herself. She was joking of course, but with that remark she made clear she was really very proud of Daniel's work. The strange thing was that they never mentioned the aura around the house. I didn't know if they saw it or not, but didn't volunteer to speak about it first. Mum just mentioned that she was feeling something special about the cottage, but she couldn't describe it. Neither Daniel, nor I, tried to get a proper explanation. We knew about the aura as a kind of protecting dome over the house and our lives.

Although we were living there only a few days, we felt at home instantly. We felt like we had been living in this cottage for ages. All the things we had, found their natural place and each place had its things. We never had to look for something, we instinctively knew where they were. Our professional lives went on and even went better with the day. Daniel's shows were better every time he put a new one together. He had several offers form more prestigious dance companies, but he never forgot the second chance the television had given him. Daniel was just faithful to the people who trusted in him, including me.

For my part, work was more than satisfactory. I, too, had received offers from higher levels, but refused them politely. I couldn't find a better boss and better colleagues. The dealership was running well despite the international economical crisis. We couldn't complain about anything. The only thing that I had not success with yet, was the hiring of a new salesman. We had given a chance to several candidates, but it turned out they were of no value to the dealership.

One night, while we were cuddled up in front of the fireplace, I mentioned it to Daniel. I had had success in everything I did, except finding a new salesman. I tried to express my frustration about it. I was not asking for the perfect solution, but I just wanted to share that problem with Daniel. He had shown so much comprehension and a witty sense of sense in all of those month. I was only half surprised when he said:

  • I know the perfect man for the job, but I don't know if you will agree with me.

Without asking whom he was thinking about, I asked him how he could know the perfect man for the job.

  • I saw his aura Lloyd, and it is a positive one.

  • Who is he? I asked.

  • You remember the accident that brought us together?

I nodded.

  • Well, Daniel said, the drunken driver? He is the one you should hire. I am sure he stopped drinking completely and that he is in need of a rewarding job. Being in a sales team like yours, would give him the necessary motivation to straighten up his life. His father is over-protecting him and he feels useless. Interview him and I am sure you will not regret it.

I was speechless. I didn't know the guy well. We had seen him a few times in a bar in town, nursing a soft drink, that was for sure. The guy didn't have to work as his father was a wealthy man and provided everything his son needed. I was quite skeptical about it, but as the idea came from Daniel, I had to consider it. Daniel had never failed in good advice. He had that natural skill to know people almost without talking to them. And, on top of it all, he had seen his aura. Daniel didn't see everybody's aura, but when he saw one, he was never wrong.

The next day, at my office, it didn't take me long to find his name, Charles Woodworth, and telephone number. I decided to contact him right away. I dialed his number and he answered at the third ring. I introduced myself and explained how I knew about him. There was and awkward silence from his part. I asked him if he would like to come by to see me the same afternoon. He seemed to hesitate. When I told him everybody needs to receive an opportunity in life, he accepted and we set the appointment at three o'clock. I didn't say anything to anybody, except Marlene, the receptionist, that I was expecting a visitor at three. She just nodded and didn't ask for any details.

At three o'clock sharp, Marlene called me to say my visitor had arrived. I told her to send him in.

The guy that came in was indeed the drunken driver, but I had to admit he looked totally different. He was nicely dressed and you could see he was taking care of himself. He wasn't gorgeous or handsome, but I was sure that more than one look, as well from women as from men, were following him wherever he was. He was a nervous wreck when he entered my office and the conversation, at first, was difficult. We couldn't avoid talking about the accident he had been the cause of. He apologized and I could feel the sincerity in his voice. I tried to be as casual as possible and to show him that the past was just that: the past! I asked him what he had been doing since and he was honest enough to tell me he had been in a rehabilitation center for several months. After that he had tried a few jobs, but had not found anything appealing to him.

After about an hour, I threw the job opening to him. He looked at me totally stunned.

  • Why me, he asked. I am totally worthless, alcoholic and a dad's son that needs protection at all times and on top of that I am gay.

  • I think you have a false idea about yourself, I said. I think that if you receive an opportunity, you could prove the whole world they are wrong and show them you can achieve things in your life. You think you have to prove yourself to your father, and in fact, the only person you have to prove something to, is yourself.

He was still speechless, so I went on:

  • You probably remember that there were three cars involved in the accident. The car you ran into was of a person who later became my lover and husband. He was badly injured but overcame the accident and he now works full time as a dancer and a choreographer. He is the one who suggested me to call you and offer you the job, because he believes firmly in second chances. Now, you have two options in front of you: First, you forget about our conversation and go on with your life like it is now. The second option however is far more appealing: you come here tomorrow morning at nine sharp and I will teach you everything I know about the business. It is up to you.

I stood up from behind my desk, shook his hand and let him out of my office.

As we are now six month later, I can tell you Charles was there the next day. I took his training very personally and as I had promised him, taught him everything I knew about the business. In less than a month time, he had sold quite a few cars and was soon at the same level of his colleagues. He found a satisfaction in his job. In the sixth month he reached the first place of sales at the dealership. Everybody considered him a full professional and I was so glad with his results.

When I told Daniel about the evolution of Charles, he had just a smile on his face saying:

  • I told you his aura was positive!

And indeed, Charles aura was positive. The only little black cloud in my blue sky had disappeared and Daniel told me:

  • Forgiving is the most rewarding thing you can do in your life!

The End

Hey guys, it is not because I have put the words "The End" that you don't have to tell me what you think about this chapter. I love your e-mails and all your comments. Please send me your thoughts at amahy1957@gmail.com
