China Is Next Door 5

I accepted the bowl of garlic green beans from Mr. Zhang. I placed some on my plate before passing the bowl to Justin.

Two weeks had passed since Justin had come out as gay to his parents and they discovered that we were a couple. They seemed to be more accepting of us as boyfriends. I would like to think that what helped what was that I wanted to learn Mandarin and I had adopted a Chinese name to facilitate the learning. Here in the Zhang household, I readily answered to the name of Taoming as if it had been mine from day one if it was just me here.

Justin and I were sitting on the couch later that evening. His arm was draped over my right shoulder and my left arm was around his waist as we continued watching his favorite BL drama Rhythm Boys. It was about two young men on two opposing gymnastic teams. It was something like Romeo and Juliet, but with two guys and without the deaths.

I was at his house this Friday evening to have dinner and spend the night. It was neither my idea nor Justin's. It was his parents' idea. They asked him if he would like me to come over for some homecooking. They said that I could even spend the night if we wanted. He jumped at the chance. My parents were also keen on the idea. It had been a long while, before the Zhangs moved in, that they had a night just to themselves.

If my boyfriend's parents had a concern that we'd get it on, they never shared it. The only time they saw us being intimate was when they saw us kissing each other when we came home after school. His folks looked at us in amused curiosity before they left the room.

He had seen the entire Rhythmic Boys series several times but this time it was special. "It's special because you are here with me Taoming." I snuggled in his arms. He had gone into the video settings and had the audio set to Mandarin and the subtitles in English. I picked up a word here and there. I heard the inflections, and I tried my best to mimic the words of the handsome young men. We watched six episodes for a total of three hours and decided to call it a night.

We headed upstairs to wash up together. While he had his bedtime piss, I stood at the mirror and brushed my teeth. Switch places. I empty my bladder and he gives his pearly whites a good scrubbing. We are in the bedroom he shares with his big bro Marc. We take each other's clothes off and we climb into his bed. His mostly naked body is behind mine, and he drapes his arm around me. He gives my butt a few gentle prods with his bulge and his fingers caress my nipples. He nudges my neck with his head and his movement slows until I hear the steady rhythm of slumber. I close my eyes and join my boyfriend.

Here is Saturday morning. "You are the guest, you go first." I head to the bathroom with a change of clothes. I strip and turn on the water. I step inside and make use of the soap and shampoo that make Justin smell heavenly. Shower off, towel off. I get dressed and wait in the brothers' room for Justin. How does he come in? Just in a towel. He closes the door and hooks a finger in the town. Plop! The towel falls and he spritzes himself with cologne and rolls on deodorant before he gets dressed. He smiles at my reflection as he combs his hair, "I loved that you spent the night with me. When we do so again, I would like to spend it at your house." I sat on his bed and looked at him, "I'd like that much." Both of us ready, we head downstairs for breakfast.

While the mood is familiar, what is offered is not. I am presented some type of crepe and some type of porridge. My dad would take one look and then dig in. He keeps an open mind when it comes to food because if he's not allergic, which he isn't, he'll eat anything edible that's served to him. I am the same way and my boyfriend's parents look at me fondly and comment on my healthy appetite. I help wash the dishes and I brush my teeth. It is time to head back home and Mr. Zhang told me, "Taoming, I am going to go with you. I need to ask your parents something." I look up and replied, "Yes, sir."

I head out the door and walk back home next door. I unlock the door and my parents are there. Dad asks, "Did you enjoy yourself Jaime?" I said with a cheerful face, "Yes Dad." He looks up and sees I'm not alone. "Jay. Can I help you?" Justin's father nods, "I need a favor." Dad welcomed him, "Please come inside."

Mom joins us in the living room and Mr. Zhang makes an unusual request, "My wife and I were married in December at Christmastime. A few years ago, we had planned on taking a trip to celebrate our thirtieth anniversary. However, the timing never worked out. We decided that this year would be different, but that was before I got the new job and we moved here. We got out tickets and the trip in order. Everything. It'll just be our two sons in the house. They are responsible young men, but could you check in on them while we are gone? We would be leaving the morning of Christmas Eve and return the morning of New Year's Eve."

My parents look at each other. Dad looks uncomfortable, "About that. We have a family tradition were we celebrate Christmas with the family. This year, we're going to San Antonio to celebrate with my wife's family. We are going to also leave Christmas Eve morning. We will be back in Houston early afternoon on Christmas Day." Mr. Zhang pauses, "I understand. They are both adults. I'm sure they can make do." Mom turns to Dad, "Rafael, why don't they join us? Jay, what do you think?" The man mulls it over, "It is not too much trouble? On a short notice? I do not want to impose." My parents look at each puzzled and Mom says, "It's no trouble. All we ask is that they bring themselves, a healthy appetite, and nice clothes for church." He said that he would need to speak with his family and let us know shortly. He thanked us for the offer and returned home. He waved at us and headed on home. We closed the door behind us and waited, but not for long.

Mr. Zhang called and said, "We've talked about it, and it sounds like a wonderful experience. I'll leave it up to my sons if they want to stay here at the house or stay with you until we return."

Justin was overjoyed and he sent me a text, [Looks like we get to take our boyfriend show on the road.] Marc was also excited. He had been concerned that it would just be the two of them for the holidays. Christmastime at the Zhang household was going to be brief anyhow this year. His team was very successful this year and had landed themselves in the Orange Bowl.

I wished I could snap my fingers advance the clock to the end of the semester. Nope, I have to get there the traditional way: one day at a time. We kept our relationship to our families during all this time, and we were unsure how or when we would let others know. We were unaware that the how and the when would soon be answered.

In December, the coaching staff of our gymnastics team takes us out to eat to celebrate the conclusion of the season. Different age groups go on different days. This year, we went for pizza at Sal's Slices. I was sitting between Justin and Tobi. He would not be getting pizza because he follows kosher very strictly so most of the time, he gets separate meals because he follows kosher whenever possible as much as possible. He seems to have something weigh heavily on his mind. It's like he wants to speak with us about it, but he doesn't at the same time. Finally with voice kept low, "What's it between you two lately. You have been hanging out with each other more and more. It's like I vanished." I knew what he was getting at. Before Justin arrived, Tobi and I were close friends. Despite this, I never had told him I was gay. I still considered Tobi a great friend, but we weren't hanging out as much as we used to. I often had dinner at his house. His father, Ben Weizmann, was a respected rabbi and was well known in our neighborhood. Although our family was Catholic, Dad often listened to Rabbi Weizmann's podcasts. Plus, we all attended Tobi's Bar Mitzvah. He sympathized with Jews, and he fiercely opposed any who discriminated against them or made bigoted remarks.

Justin and I looked at each other. We huddled and after speaking about it, we motioned for him to lean in also. We knew we'd come out to more people eventually and decided couldn't keep the truth hidden from him. I whispered, "Sorry about that. I'll do better. It's just that Justin and I are boyfriends." He looks at our enjoined hands and Justin replies, "We've been in a relationship for a few weeks now." His eyes widened and he whispers with a smile, "Oh? No foul then. Congratulations." Justin adds, "He's also learning Mandarin from me." That was the only real road bump that evening. We all headed home and said that we'd see each other next month for the Spring season.

Justin and I had only a brief respite before we entered the weeklong gauntlet of Finals. It was the only only roadblock between us and the holidays. They were intense, but we later found out that we got through well. We did great in our exams and passed our classes. Nothing but Bs and As for us.

With Fall Semester over, we enjoyed the few days before we left for San Antonio. We were not going to be lazy. We would go to the gym or head to Munoz Lawn and Landscaping to help even though there wasn't much to do considering it was winter and there weren't many calls for our services. Justin stood out but he didn't mind. Here, as when my boyfriend helped with our own lawn, they called him Justino. However, we spent most of our time at his place to continue my Mandarin lessons. He might have been biased, but he voiced his optimism that I would be become proficient quickly. I knew college was coming up and I didn't want to lose what I had gained so I started to rethink colleges I wanted to attend. I wanted to find a place that offered Mandarin as a college course so I could continue. If I was trilingual, there'd bound to be more job opportunities for me. Spanish is in high demand in Houston, and I felt that there was a sizable portion who felt more comfortable conversing in Mandarin.

For now, let me enjoy my break. It was the day before Christmas Eve. I waited patiently with Justin for Marc's arrival while his parents started to pack. More lessons for me. I wanted to admit to him and his family that I enjoyed speaking Mandarin and I imagined a future where we have a place of our own and we are only conversing in Mandarin. Early afternoon, Mr. Zhang departs to pick up my boyfriend's brother. A couple hours, their return.

"It's been just a few weeks, but I can tell you're getting more comfortable" Marc commends me. He walks in wearing a sleeveless hoodie which he lowers. "Bro, that airplane felt like a refrigerator." I replied, "I can't sleep on planes. I only nod off." He exclaims, "Let me get my stuff and we can head out." A dash up and a dash down, he's back with his duffle bag so we can work out together.

After gym, we return and go our separate ways so my boyfriend can enjoy the rest of the evening with his family before his parents leave in the morning for their weeklong getaway. I have dinner with my own and my parents asked me what I did today. I said, "More lessons and working out at the gym with Justin and Marc. Dad? I was thinking that if I stick with learning Mandarin and becoming fully fluent, maybe this will help our lawn company expand?" He had never considered it before, but the prospect of more customers was alluring. "That'd be wonderful, but it'd be a huge responsibility on your shoulders. We only speak English or Spanish with our customers." I wasn't as fluent as my parents, but if I wanted to be trilingual, I needed to be more comfortable speaking Spanish. With my skin tone being somewhere in the beige/honey range, many automatically began speaking Spanish to me without checking first because they assumed I didn't know English.

We spent the rest of the evening packing our things. Just one night's change of clothing. My mom's family all reside in San Antonio, so they go home after the festivities. My parents and I spend the night with my grandparents and then we head home the following morning. My mom had already sent a text to my grandparents to let them know that we will be bringing a pair of guests. They had no problem.

The evening before Christmas Eve, we dropped off Ginger Snap at the home of Dr. and Dr. Al-Khatib, a slightly older couple who lived across the street. They had a female Bichon Frise named Nova. She was just as lively as our Ginger Snap, and they made good playmates.

It was the early morning of Christmas Eve and the doorbell rings. The sun was barely out. Justin and Marc are here. His parents had just left moments before. Justin with be with us for almost the rest of the year. Marc will be here until the day after Christmas when we take him to the airport so he can get to UCLA in time to get ready for the Orange Bowl. His plane ticket is on the table.

We approach the Toyota Sienna and all our luggage in put in the back. I open the side door and it slides back and Marc goes first since he will be sitting in the back. With his size, he'll be more comfortable there. I then escort Justin inside he will occupy the seat next to the one I will be in. Dad does one last check with the house to make sure that it was secured. He leaves and locks the front door after he sets the alarm. He sits in the driver's seat and looks at mom, "Ready mi estrella?" She nodded, He then looks at us in the rearview mirror, "Ready muchachos?" We too were ready. The minivan pulls out and we began our Christmas adventure.

We headed west along the freeway to a familiar destination for familiar family customs. The scenario is this. We get up very early to head to San Antonio. We get breakfast at the first Buc-ee's along the way, then we keep going. Once we arrive at my grandparents' house, we put our luggage away. Among Mom's family, the Guerrero family, we are the only family members from out of town. We could spend the night at a hotel, but my grandparents wouldn't hear of it. They would insist we stay with them because they have enough beds for all. Once we are ready, it's time for the tamale marathon. Get everything ready, assemble them, cook them, store them away, and have some for dinner. This is followed by going to evening church and returning to open presents. After that, bedtime. In the morning, shower and get ready to go back home. We'll take a couple packets of a dozen. We have breakfast with my grandparents and then drive back to Houston.

We are an oddball group of travelers. Look at us. Three of us are clearly Latino and the other two are clearly Asian. We are in a Toyota minvan listening to a hodgepodge of classic rock and mariachi music. My parents speak in a blend of English and Spanish while I speak with my boyfriend and his brother in a blend of English and Mandarin. I know I'm on vacation, but Justin and I decided to keep up with the lessons. This time, Marc joins in the instruction. Except for presents, everything on the itinerary would be new for them. Out of the two brothers, Marc was looking forward to making and eating the tamales the most. They've never had them.

Soon, we arrived at the Buc-ee's and we got out. While my parents went off in one direction, us young men headed for the food. For a moment, I felt like Willy Wonka. The eyes of both Zhang brothers widened, their mouths to the floor. I was about to whisper sing for them, "Pure Imagination", but decided that would be in poor taste or hokey. Something like that. They were going over the prices of the food because their parents gave them a budget and told them to spend wisely. Dad wouldn't hear of it and told them along the way. He told them that whatever food they wanted to buy, he would pay for. I had to remind them, "It's on the house."

In the end, Marc got two burritos of different types and a large bottle of chocolate protein shake. My boyfriend and I got the same, but different type of burritos. At tantalizing as the pastries were, they both shook their heads and looked the other way. Besides, there would be plenty of pastries at my grandparents' house.

We met up with my parents and we made the purchases. In addition to food, they had bought the brothers red Buc-ee's tees, extra-large for both. Marc turned his head as we headed out and his eyes lit up because he saw a person in a Buc-ee costume. Try to imagine this large muscular Chinese guy approach a costumed individual with the same enthusiasm as a child. My boyfriend joins him, and I take a couple pictures of them. They have such carefree expressions on their faces. I stand next to the costumed employee with one brother on either end of us four. I've never taken a picture with a person in a Buc-ee costume, but the Zhang brothers did ask me. We then left, but that wasn't the end of the photos. Outside, there is a bronze statue of the cheery beaver. It was the same as before. The brothers would have a picture of themselves and then one with me and Justin.

The five of us sat down at a nearby bench and had breakfast. Marc was making sounds of intense pleasure, "These are so awesome. I should have taken a picture. Wait, I have another one of these burritos." After he finished the first, he unwrapped the second burrito and took a picture before he ate that one. "Mmm, this one's just as good as the first." My boyfriend was just as pleased with the foodstuffs, "What's the likelihood of our parents going for food like this?" Marc said, "Less than zero percent?" Yes, it was an exaggeration, but still low odds. I had eaten at the Zhang house plenty of times to be confident that their parents would never eat anything that Buc-ee's would offer unless necessary. They would later admit that if the vacation had been just visiting Buc-ee's, it was a worthwhile experience. I wondered what to make of what they said. Was it diminishing what was to come? It did not because they also said that they enjoyed the entire trip because it would change their lives.

A couple hours later, the skyline of downtown San Antonio loomed ahead. We would not be going anywhere near there just yet. We headed down a different freeway and got off. Down a variety of down streets until we reached our destination. If the house was something that could be eaten, it'd resemble lasagna. It was a cube shaped building of reddish-brown bricks, black asphalt shingles, and off-white awning in the back. It was clear, as always, we were the last to arrive. We parked on the street and got out. My parents were in the front, then me, and then the Zhang brothers with eyes rotating wildly to take in as much as possible. We walked up the cobblestone pathway and before we could ring the bell, the door opened. It was my cousin Beatriz Reyes who was four years older than me.

I am unique among those on Mom's side of the family. Among my cousins, I'm the only male. My mom only has sisters. The only man I was related to by blood was my grandpa Tino. Beatriz welcomed us inside one by one and then something remarkable happened once she looked at Marc. There are people that talk about love at first sight. I didn't want to believe in something schmaltzy like that, but if it existed, I was witnessing it right now. There was certain connection between them, a strong connection that was evident to all.

My relatives, when they saw my boyfriend and his older brother, their eyes twitched. Were these Jaime's friends? After that initial second of shock of seeing two Asian men entering, they accepted them fully.

I escorted the brothers down the hallway and into the bedroom that I was going to be in later tonight. There were two beds in there. One would contain he who was Marc Ning Zhang and the other would be for us. There was enough room for me and Justin to share, just enough room. Not that we had a problem with that. "What now?" I replied, "Time for the tamale making." We washed up and headed to the kitchen. Almost everyone would be involved. The kitchen, at this time of the year, was where the action was.

Beatriz again as soon as she saw Marc, she grabbed his hands and pulled them towards her. "Ever make tamales before?" He shook his head, "I've helped in the kitchen a few times at my great uncle's restaurant." She smiled, "I'll show you." My cousin put him next to him and showed him the way of applying masa to corn husks.

As for me and Justin, we went to a table off to the side where we would be shredding meat for the chicken and the pork tamales. I had been doing this for a couple years and I showed Justin what to do. He got into the groove quickly as did his brother. Speaking of getting into the grove, he and Beatriz continued to work great as a pair. If there was such a thing as love at first sight, we were seeing it in action. After about thirty minutes of astute observation and hands-on work, his product was deemed satisfactory enough that he did not need oversight. They seemed amazed that he had caught on that quickly, but after being told that that he and his brother came from a restaurant background and they had experience working in a kitchen, they understood. Was he going into the restaurant business? "No. I'm thinking of either playing pro football or be a firefighter, most likely fireman."

The hours passed and although many retreated to the living room to wait, Marc and Justin stayed in the kitchen to observe the completion of the process because this was a new experience even though cooking was familiar. Eventually, "Dinnertime!" We all sat down around the table. I sat next to my parents and Justin sat next to me. Marc was on the other side of long table because Beatriz insisted that he sit next to her. She practically pulled him along.

She was not the only cousin who had a hankering for these Chinese men. Another cousin, Julia, was clearly smitten by Justin. I had caught her looking at him like he was tasty. Sorry cuz, but he's mine. I whispered to my boyfriend about the looks he had been given and he snickered, "We should tell her that she can see all she wants, but no touching the goods." I giggled back, "We should." We got out of our huddle, and I placed my hand on the table which was joined by his. Our fingers intertwined as we affectionately looked at each other. I announced, "Justin's more than just my friend. He's my boyfriend."

There was silence until Grandpa Tino snorted jovially, "I knew there was something special between you two. I could see it by the way you two look at each other. Well then, I expect we'll see more of you around. I think you and your brother will fit in just nice. Speaking of which, I hear that you're thinking of becoming a firefighter." Marc's head perks up, "Yes sir. I'm studying courses for that. I had also been thinking about entering the NFL draft, but I'm becoming less sure about that. My grandpa smiles, "Many of us Guerrero men are firefighters including me. Well retired."

There wasn't a whole lot of time after that. Just enough time to clean up and put everything away. Then we all got dressed for church. After years of doing this, this was routine. The Zhang brothers brought out the clothes that they were going to wear to church. They had washed up and dressed up. I had thought they were going to just be in slacks and a button short sleeve shirt like me which was familiar attire in the family. Nope. They had each brought a suit and tie with dress shoes. They each took turns polishing them and got dressed. They looked stunning as if they were models or movie stars. They looked at me weirdly as they could tell that they were dressed more formal than me. I explained that this is how we all usually dressed for church. Armed with that knowledge, they weren't surprised when we headed downstairs where everyone was waiting.

We all headed out in separate vehicles and arrived at the small community church that my grandparents, and my relatives here in San Antonio, attended. As back at the house, Beatriz wanted Marc be with her so he joined her with her parents while Justin was with me and my parents. Justin whispered to me that he had never been inside a church except for rare occasions such as weddings or funerals. Even then, they had never been inside a Catholic church. The scope of their religious beliefs was that they believed in God. That's it.

A couple hours later, we were all back at my grandparents' house for presents and pan dulce. My parents gave me a graphic novel, a Jeopardy! tee, and a gift card. Marc and Justin jointly gave me a Mandarin language book and a CD. I gave Marc a sleeveless tee and matching workout shorts. To Justin, I gave a simple necklace made of stainless steel.

The whole escapade lasted a couple of hours and as the time passed, more and more of my relatives headed home until just us out of towners and my grandparents. Then it was just me and the Zhang brothers awake as we watched Alastair Sim's version of A Christmas Carol. It was just after midnight when the movie ended. We shut off the TV and got ready for bed. Wash up, take turns using the bathroom, getting into sleepwear. Me and the Zhang brothers returned to the room, and he held up the necklace I had gifted him. He looked at me, "Help me put it on? I want to see what it looks like on me." I had been conflicted about what type of gift I wanted to give him. I wanted to give him something special but was unsure what was appropriate at this stage of our relationship. Dad helped me choose this based on my thoughts and his general impression of Justin's personality.

I stood behind his shirtless self and placed it around his neck. He never had any piece of jewelry before except for his class ring. This was special. As he fingered it, I held him around his waist. He looked at the mirror where Marc's reflection stood, <What do you think?> His older brother gave two thumbs up, <Fantastic!> Justin reaches behind his neck to unclasp it and he places it in the box which gets put in his luggage. Marc loved his gift also, "It's like you read my mind Jaime. I have several workout tops and bottoms that could use replacing." He held the new clothes to his nearly naked body, "Just my right size. Not loose, not tight, just snug enough to show off these Chinese goods." He then poses in front of the mirror.

Justin could barely contain his mirth as he joins in the posing, "He had help. Me. I freely admit that I am biased when I say that the hottest men on the planet are muscular Asian men wearing snug workout clothing. I know my brother well." I scrunch my eyebrows in mock irritation and respond as I too pose with them, "Latin men are pretty hot too. Shirtless and muscular, sweat glistening on their beige skin." Regularly, during the summer, I went with a work crew to help with lawn care. I truly wanted to help out and even if I didn't, Dad would have encouraged me to go. I couldn't spend days on end being listless. I never would admit it, but I enjoyed the delights that my eyes were fed. Several men were close to Dad's age, but occasionally we had college-aged guys on the crew. They infiltrated my dreams and there they stayed. It would be inappropriate to make my fantasies real. Then Justin entered my life and they departed from my spicier imaginings.

Justin nudged me, "Watcha thinking of?" I blinked out of my stupor. The brothers looked at each other and then back at me and then down. Caught, I kept my answer truthful but vague. I grinned, "Latin men like me." They snorted amusedly and Marc clapped his hand, "I don't know about you two, but this stud muffin's going to hit the sack. Wake up time's 7, right?" I gave him a thumbs up to answer in Mandarin, <We wake up at 7am.>

Marc climbs into bed, "Let's get to bed. See you two in the morning." He turns his body over on his side so that his back faces us and he does not hide his magnificent body beneath sheets. He then thinks better of it since he a guest in another home and pulls the sheet over his body. Justin and I look at each other as I get into bed. He joins me and half of his body straddles mine, our bulges pressing against each other. My boyfriend wishes me good night and I do as well. Eyes close with visions of not sugar plums dancing in our heads, but hot guys in short shorts.

I felt a hand, a naughty hand, slide into my briefs. Mostly asleep, I thought I was imagining things. Yet more and more movement. Justin's hand stroked my penis until achieved its six inches of awesomeness. Two hands now as he gingerly lowered my briefs as if to not wake me up. Too late, but I decided to play along. I remained still, eyes closed, and let him have his unknown fun. He deftly lowered my underwear enough to fully expose his prize. The wetness of a mouth.

I decided to let Justin in on the secret that I was awake, "That's it. Feast on that midnight snack." He lifted the sheet off his head and in the dimness of light filtered through the blinds, he smirks and opens his mouth. His dark brown eyes never leave me as he bobs his head. I drape my right arm around his shoulders as he continues to suck me off, but I think he's making too much noise with his slurping. Maybe I'm imaging things.

I am not imaging thins because Marc wakes and looks at us, but we don't stop. He yawns, "What are you to doing?" Rhetorical question since he see's what we are up to. I said, "Your brother got hungry so he's having himself some sausage." The elder Zhang brother chuckles at the metaphor as he sits up. He moves the sheet that had been covering his body to the side. He sits up and moves the sheet covering his body. As he leaves the bed and approaches, he begins caressing his equipment. He tousles my hair, "What about you Jaime? You hungry?" I reach up to bring him in closer to me. I bury my face into his crotch. Nudge with my nose and nod. I do. I am. He lowers his briefs and lets out what he fondly calls his dragon. I am face to face with it and I hold it in my hand. Feel the heaviness of his 7 and three-quarter inches. Feel the heaviness of his balls stocked with rich Chinese cream. I look upon him in the same way as his brother looked upon me. My mouth opens as it slowly descends upon him. It encircles his shaft and I begin paying him homage.

I am loving where I am right now. I am in between two amazing Asian hotties. I am being serviced by one and servicing another. Our hormones guide us in the darkness. They know that we needed to make haste. Marc grips my head firmly, the hair from his mullet bouncing as he bucks into it like a mounting stallion. He hisses in Mandarin was a good Mexican cocksucker I am. I hang on for the ride that Zhang the Mustang gives me Within minutes, he grunts as he splashes the inside of my mouth. It sets off a chain reaction from my fed gullet on down and I offer up myself to Justin. I feel his throat contract as he swallows as he meticulously makes sure that none spills. What of him? He is skillful with his hands. One has to be for rings, right? He had a hand inside his briefs and all it takes is a few tugs before the cloth of his underwear throbs and dampness appears and spreads.

The three of us separate with panting breaths. My underwear put back on and Marc pulls his back up. He retreats to his bed while Justin and I settle into position. He climbs in as our eyes slowly close and he drifts off to sleep also, "I mean it this time. Get to bed. See you two in the morning."
