On a side note; Life's Expectations, the original, is on break till after next chapter of this story. It will contain Colby so I will progress his story here so the chapter wont contain spoilers. Well I'll try to not have it contain spoilers... so lets get this chapter on it's way!

Chapter 4 – The Bully – Bully

The next few months, through the summer, went uneventful. With Colby and his friends hanging out every once in a while. George did harass the group, mostly Colby.

With the summer complete, Grade 11 started. Colby found his way to a familiar class room, Mrs. Bells. "Hello Mrs. Bells!"

"Hello Colby, how are you today?" The teacher said behind her desk.

Colby smiled, "I'm great! I got to drive to school today! It was the first day I didn't really screw up driving."

"That's good, I hope you get your license as soon as possible." Colby smiled and sat down.

When homeroom was complete, Colby got his locker, and informed Trevor where it was. Trevor found his friend, "Dude you have the perfect locker! Right in the middle of the school! You have to share it with me!"

"Do I now?" Colby looked at his friend. "Why is that?"

"Dude come on! You have the perfect locker!"

"Yes I know."

"Come on share please, please, please!" Trevor begged.

Colby shook his head. "You better not be in Chemistry or Bio."

"I took Earth Science dude. I ain't gonna take the stuff that is hard."

"Let me see your schedule." After a look over their schedules and figured they could share the locker. After giving his best friend the news getting certain books in the locker the two friends made their way to the theater entrance where Vicky and Mitch were waiting.

"Awww look at the lovely couple!" Vicky practically squealed.

"We are not a couple!" Colby yelled back defensively.

As if from no where a voice echoed through the halls, "Fuck that 'your not a couple!' Brown, you are so dating Vines!" George came through the hallways towards the group of friends.

Colby gave a death glare towards the bully. Trevor pulled him over, "Lets go, you and me are gonna hang out."

"That's right, go screw your fuck buddy!"

Mr. James came through the theater, "Mr. Young come with me." George rolled his eyes and walked towards the office.

Trevor and Colby made their way to Trevor's place. When they got into the privacy of Trevor's room Colby slouched onto his bed. "Why!?" Trevor looked at his best friend. "Why do I always get picked on!?"

"I don't know... Maybe you should just say your gay to the world..."

"And then I would just be the butt of all jokes! No pun intended." Colby threw his backpack against the wall. "What can I do!?"

"I don't know buddy..."

"I can't do anything right! No one will ever want me in their life." Colby's eyes were wet with possible tears. His thoughts started gathering around things no one should think of. An easy way out, suicide.

"Colby stop it right now!" Trevor grabbed his friend's shirt and pulled him forwards. "You have to trust me on this, okay?" Colby didn't move. "If you don't answer I'm gonna do it anyways."

"Fine what do I have to trust you with?"

Trevor looked serious at friend. "You have to tell your parents about everything." Colby looked terrified, "Listen before you freak out.." It was too late.

"I can't tell them I'm gay! That would kill me, Literally!!" Colby's eyes were in mixed emotion. He knew that a good start would be to tell his parents but he wasn't ready. "I can't do it, there has to be something else!"

"Getting beaten up for the next 2 years. Your parents will be fine with it. What do you have to hide?"

Barely audible, Colby whispers to himself, "Gage..."

"What? I didn't hear you." Colby realized he just thought out loud. He was now stuck between a rock and a hard place. In his mind if he told Trevor about Gage, their friendship would be over. If he let that skeleton stay in the closet, it could mean the same in the long run.

He chose the more immediate option. "Gage Bells... Mrs. Bells oldest boy..."

"Colby, you didn't!"

"It was him!" Colby's tears reforming, "He had just had the sex ed. Talk in grade 5 and was intrigued, I told him no but I was kinda horny... I didn't make him do anything."

"You promise?"

"I would never make a kid do something like that! Trevor can we get off this topic?" Trevor nods. "Okay, when should I tell my parents?"

"So you'll do it?" Colby nods, "Do you want me to..."

Colby interrupts, "YES!"

"Okay, lets figure this out then." For that afternoon the two friends figured out a plan. If, and to Trevor that's a major if, Colby can stay at his place until everything is sorted out. But that came at a cost.

When Trevor's parents came home Trevor asked if they could talk. Colby, with Trevor doing most of the talking, came out to Trevor's parents. Colby managed to explain than Trevor was only a friend before he was bombarded with questions. When that conversation was done Colby had a place to fall back on.

Over the next few days everyone that knew Colby noticed his head was somewhere else. He failed a math test, which he never does, and was zoned out in class. Colby was an honor's student with the highest marks in his grade. On Friday at he end of English Mrs. Bells asked for him to stick around.

"What's going on with you Colby? Just from this week your grade has slipped 5%."

Colby looked towards the ground. "Sorry I've had a lot on my mind lately."

"Talk to me, you'll feel better once it's off your chest."

Colby huffed, thinking to himself, This is the end of a good 'job'... He looked his teacher in the eyes, "I want to come out to my parents." On the inside Colby was tarring himself apart, on the outside he has a brave front covering that up.

Mrs. Bells smiled, "Is that all?" Colby's jaw dropped, "Colby I don't mean to be rude, but I've thought you were gay for a while now. I have to keep a good eye on who's babysitting my children."

"So you still want me to be your babysitter?"

Mrs. Bells laughs hysterically, "If I were to 'let you go' I think Gage and Nick would hate me for life." Colby blushed. "You might be gay Colby, but I know you have done no harm to my children. If you had, I would have known by now."

Colby thought to himself, If you only knew what Gage was up to... The rest of the conversation was about his plan, and when he would tell his parents. Before long Colby was heading home to enjoy his last few days, in his mind, of his current life.

On Saturday he babysat Gage and Nick. Yet again Nick fell asleep, was taken up to bed, and left to sleep in his room. Downstairs, Gage was sucking on what he called his lollypop, Colby's penis.

Once done Gage snuggled up like always and Colby asked Gage a question, "Have you told your mom or dad about this?"

Gage shook his head. "I've done my research. If I were to tell, you wouldn't be my babysitter anymore. This it between you, me, who ever you've told, and Sam."

"Sam is your best friend right?" Gage nods, "He wont tell anyone?"

"I made him promise on his hamster. He wont tell anyone." Colby got a chuckle out of that one. "So what does it mean if you like sucking that." Gage hand squeezed his package.

"It means that you are A: Experimenting, B: Bi-curious, C: Bisexual, or D: Gay."

Gage looked up at Colby, "So which one are you?"

"I am most definitely gay."

"So your into only boys?" Colby nods, "So I guess I'm Bisexual then. Since I still think girls are cute, but I don't think I'll get over this sucking issue." Both boys had a chuckle and continued watching the movie.

Gage, a now 11 year old boy, had no issue with his babysitter being gay. For Colby that was the last push he needed. On Sunday he was ready to tell his parents. Before that though he had to get Trevor.

Colby headed towards his friends house. On his way, George Young appeared in his path. Colby froze as he saw the smirk on the bully's face. Colby tried walking right past him but he was stopped in his tracks. "Where you going little buddy?"

"I'm trying to walk." Colby tried to pass again without prevail.

George shook his head, "Tsk Tsk Tsk, You think a friend would want to hang out with an old pal."

Coldy, Colby replied, "You not my pal."

George thought to himself for a second and then spoke, "Your right!" Before Colby could do anything he was punched in the gut and floored instantly. "We are friends, so I guess that makes us enemies... You know what happens to enemies? They beat each other to a pulp."

Before anything could be done, Colby was being kicked around and beaten. Five minutes past by before someone drove by and stopped. When he got out of the car, George was already gone. Colby laid on the sidewalk holding his ribs, coughing up blood.

The man quickly took out his cellphone and called an ambulance. When he was done on the phone, he came up to the beaten boy, "Son, can you speak?"

"It... hurts too." Colby groaned in pain. He was sure several of his ribs were broken and maybe some other parts.

"Okay, I'm going to take out your wallet. Is your home number in there?" Weekly Colby nods. The man grabbed the boy's wallet and found the piece of paper labeled "ICE". He called the number beside home. "Hello, My name is Jim Little, I found your son being attacked. The Ambulance will be here any second and he will be on his way to the hospital... He appears to be in a lot of pain. I don't have any first aid training so I am doing what I know I can do... I will see you at the hospital."

A young boy appeared from through the car window, "What's going on dad? Is he okay?"

"Sam, stay in the car." The ambulance and police came and took Colby to the hospital. Jim made sure to hand the "ICE" paper to the paramedics. He then gave his statement to the police and then made his way to the hospital.

On the way there Sam, the young boy asked, "What was his name?"

"His ID said Colby Brown, though it's none of your business." To the boy, his father's words were cold, to the father he was straightforward.

Sam's head was in an uproar when he heard the name, "Dad let me use your cellphone please!"

"Why?"

"Colby Brown is Gage's babysitter!" The boy grabbed the phone and started to dial before he could get an answer. To Sam Little, telling his best friend this was more important than the trouble he could be in.

Chapter end.

So... Colby got beat up... Why would George do something like this? Well maybe you'll find out in the coming chapters... maybe you'll have to wait a couple. On a side note: I have moved into a new place and will try to get chapters out!
