Chapter 20:

Devante continues to stare at Theo until the silence becomes intolerable. "What are you talking about" Theo finally asks.

"What am I talking about" Devante repeats with rage and frustration. His face began to contort itself into a look that Theo had never seen before. "What kind of question is that? What I'm talking about is that fact that I am strolling around here naked and you didn't think it was important to tell me that your roommate is home" he finished.

Unphased by the rant that Devante was giving him, Theo responded coyly "I'm not sure how all of this suddenly became my fault. First of all, I was clearly sleeping. Not sure how I am supposed to prompt you of something when I am clearly dead to the world since I didn't get much sleep last night because of your snoring." Theo flashed a smile at Devante to cut some of the tension. "Second, I never told you to walk around naked anyway. It's not my fault that you are trying to show off that raging boner and got caught by the wrong audience." Theo was struggling to hold back his laughter.

"This is not FUCKING funny" Devante screamed.

Theo quickly swooped in and planted a kiss on Devante's lips to stop Devante from continuing with his argument. The innocent kiss quickly turned into a battle of the tongues. Devante's mouth opened wider and wider to let Theo's eager tongue in more.

As the kiss got more intense so did the two of them. Theo extended his hand around and grabbed Devante's soft dick. As his tounge began to trace the inside of Devante's mouth, he slowly gripped his hardening dick and began to softly stroke it. Theo's dick wasn't shy either. It was slowly rising to the occasion with a little help from Devante.

The two continued their passionate embrace until they were interrupted by a voice, "Should I put your food in the oven to stay warm? Looks like you two may be a while?"

Devante turned beet red. Not only had Chad seen him naked, but now he saw him fully hard and stroking Theo's cock. He immediately turned his face in shame.

"Shut up!" Theo responded playfully. "We'll be right out." Chad turned around and headed back into the kitchen.

"I am NOT going out there!" Devante stated emphatically. "If it wasn't bad enough after this morning, this just takes the cake. Who knows how long he was standing there watching us."

"Who cares" Theo said as he got up to slide on a pair of sweatpants. "He couldn't care less about seeing your little dick."

"I just can't go out there and eat with him like everything is ok, when it is clearly awkward as fuck."

"Right now it seems like you are the only one that seems awkward. He seems fine and I know, for damn sure, that if I have to choose between being fine and not eating his cooking, I'm choosing being fine. His father is a chef at some restaurant and his food is amazing."

"I'm not going" Devante repeated pouting.

"Don't be like that! Come on! Please!" Something about Theo pleading convinced Devante to change his mind. The thought that now the balance of power may be shifting and that he was in control made him feel good – even if was only about going to breakfast.

"Ok, I'll go but I won't speak to him" Devante retorted.

"Suit yourself. As long as I get to eat, I'll be happy."

Theo hurried into the kitchen as if he was in a rush. Devante took a second to compose himself before pulling his shirt over his head and finally emerging into the hallways leading into the tiny, crowded kitchen.

"but I would still do it all over again if I could" Devante heard as he entered the room.

"This food is so fucking good Devante!" Theo spat dropping food out of his mouth as he spoke. "Try to syrup, he made it from scratch!"

Reluctantly Devante stood up to make himself a plate, being firm on his promise not to speak to Chad, but before he could move away from his chair Chad had grabbed his shoulders and pushed him back into his seat. As he opened his mouth to protest, Chad sat a huge plate of food in front of him. "Eat up lover boy" he said as he walked back over to the stove nonchalantly.

"I'm not your lover boy!" Devante said defensively.

"Well, I clearly know that. You've never had my dick in your hand pumping for dear life."

"Fuck you" Devante shot back sharply.

"Whoa whoa whoa guys" Theo quickly intervened. "No need for all of this hostility.

Chad returned to the table with his plate and sat directly across from Devante.

He stared at the two of them as he took his first bite of his elaborate meal. He continued to stare only breaking eye contact to switch his gaze from one of them to the other.

By this point, Devante was fuming. He was fed up with the repeated remarks, tension, and the overall awkwardness of the entire situation. He quickly finished his food and then stood up and walked out of the kitchen.

Devante went into Theo's room collected his laptop and the rest of his belonging then proceeded to get dressed. As he searched for his socks, he was met with a floor littered with empty beer and wine bottles from the previous night.

Dressed, Devante returned to the kitchen. "Drive me home Theo" he demanded.

"Damn! Can you at least say please?" Theo responded with a childish grin.

"Please" Devante responded in an aggravated tone. Clearly, he did not want to be in Chad's presence a second longer.

Theo pushed back from the table and started heading into his room to throw on a hoodie and grab his keys. A few minutes later he returned with his keys in hand and ready to head out.

As they walked to the door, Chad came running behind them. "You didn't think you were going to lose me that easy did you Lover Boy" he teased.

"Are you fucking serious" Devante asked as he continued to walk towards the car.

Sure enough, as Devante climbed into the passenger seat, Chad climbed into the back. The drive to his dorm was short and filled with an abundance of silence. The tension in the air was high and Devante couldn't have been more relieved when he got out of that car. As he was walking up the path to his dorm, Theo blew him a kiss which only upset him more.

As Devante walked got closer to the building, he spotted Jeff standing out front smoking a cigarette and staring right at him. He went into an immediate panic as he wondered how much of that he had seen.

"Was that Theo's car you were just getting out of?" Jeff questioned.

Unsure how to respond, Devante dodged "It's good seeing you too. Thanks SO much for asking."

"Where have you been? Spencer said you stormed out last night"

"Did he also tell you that he was being a dick?"

"What is going on with you two? You all used to be the best of friends and now you both are pissing me off!" At this point he put his cigarette out and the two start to walk up to their rooms. "I'm seriously considering finding a new best friend."

They got up to Devante's room and Jeff kept going to his door. Concerned about what might await him on the other side of the door, Devante asked "You aren't coming in to hangout?"

"I've been hanging out with that mopy bastard since you left. It's your turn."

As Devante opened the door to continue into his room, Jeff came back out and said "and that white stain on your sheets is yogurt... I promise"

Devante just shook his head and kept walking. As he walked in he could sense the misery of his roommate. Spencer looked over to see Devante, but never acknowledged his presence.

Devante, still frustrated from him morning, ignored it and continued in to unpack his duffle bag. With every item that he removed from his bag, Spencer made a noticeable breath.

Finally, Devante couldn't take it anymore. "What is your problem? Like really, I can't figure you out."

"You can't figure me out? I can't figure YOU out. At one point you wanted nothing to do with Theo and now all of a sudden you and him are best friends and you barely speak to me."

"Are you crazy? What are you talking about?" Devante asked honestly confused. "We are not best friends, he just happens to be one of the only people I know that has an apartment that I can crash at when you go ballistic."

"Fuck you! I don't go ballistic. Excuse me for caring about our friendship. We used to hang out all of the time, but then you joined that stupid swim team and started hanging out with THEO all the time and now you are never here!"

"Oh my God! You're jealous aren't you? You're jealous that I am hanging out with Theo and not you" Devante realized.
