Chapter 2 -- The Long Drive Home

Drew's eyes opened at six forty five the following morning and he looked across at Zac. His eyes were closed so he was still catching up with much needed sleep. He looked almost radiant, his hair tousled by sleep, his classic face peaceful and serene and Drew could almost swear he could make out a small smile on his lips.

Drew got quietly out of bed and made his way to the shower, waiting for the hot water to come through before getting into the bay. He was in there about fifteen minutes before turning the water off, getting out and towelling himself dry. Having seen Zac still asleep, he walked out of the bathroom naked only to see Zac, now wide awake. He attempted to cover himself, embarrassed at this turn of events.

"That's OK Drew," Zac said, "I have seen naked guys before."

"Yeah, maybe Zac," Drew was still embarrassed. "But not me."

"So you think you might be different?" Zac was smiling. "You don't look any different to me, you look real cool actually."

Drew was about six feet two, had dark, short hair, wide shoulders, narrow waist and hips and a pair of slim, shapely legs. He was fairly well tanned, slim and had good definition on his chest and stomach, he obviously looked after himself. Zac studied him fully; jeez he was nice, real nice.

"Nice bod Drew," Zac said, "real nice." He grinned, "nice cock too."

Drew felt his cheeks colouring but said nothing as Zac's eyes studied his cock. It was fairly thick, cut and had a neat, black mat at the base. Shit,' Zac thought, wouldn't mind seeing that hard.'

Zac leaped out of bed and made his way to the shower. After towelling himself, he wandered back to the room as Drew had, naked, but there was one difference. Drew's eyes widened as Zac entered the room from the bathroom, focussing on a spot about eighteen centimetres below his navel. Zac was hard, real hard, his six and a half inches standing to proud attention, and he appeared totally relaxed with the situation.

"Shit Zac!" Drew exclaimed, his cheeks colouring again.

"What's up?" Zac asked, "don't you ever get a hard on?"

"Yeah man, `course, but shit, I've only just met you." He grinned. "Go and get dressed for fuck sake before I forget myself. Shit man, you're one cute dude, young, but real cute." Drew had fully taken in Zac's bod, about five eight, slim build, obviously fit, superb cock and those legs, shit, he had legs Drew could die for, he couldn't remember seeing a more shapely pair, especially on a kid this age.

Zac grinned and dressed himself. It was becoming clear to him that Drew was interested. He'd have to see how things panned out, but it was clear in his mind if Drew was interested, he'd have no problems, no problems at all. He'd only known the guy for less than a day, but during that time, Drew had done so much for him, been so kind to him, he was getting to like him deeply. "Maybe, if you feel like it later Drew, we could stop somewhere quiet and get... um... get better acquainted." He blushed deeply, making him three times more desirable to Drew.

Drew was lost for words, but even though he'd let himself get into this situation, he knew there was no way, at this stage, he'd cheat on Cameron, even with a guy as irresistibly cute as Zac. He just smiled his reply. "OK you horny bugger," he said grinning, "you want some breakfast?"

"That'd be good Drew," Zac replied, "I am feeling a bit hungry, thanks."

"Think no more of it," Drew said, far more relaxed now. "Two bottomless pits to the feeding troughs then."

Zac and Drew had cereal, bacon and eggs and several slices of toast followed by coffee, before they sat back in their chairs, looking across the table at each other.

Drew was first to speak. "It's good to know you're relaxed with me Zac, but I wish you hadn't done what you did, and said what you did in the room." He was smiling. "Shit man, I've gotta admit you made me horny as buggery. That's one cute bod you've got there mate, and your legs, shit, they're out of this world, but there's no way I'd do that to Cameron, I hope you understand."

Zac smiled. So, Drew obviously was interested, even though his lover Cameron was a barrier right now. He knew he'd have to take things slowly, but if he took it slowly, who knew what might happen. Zac's mind wandered to thoughts of him naked on the bed, with Drew above him, his ankles on Drew's shoulders while he made passionate love to him, just like Jamie used to, slowly and gently. He found himself thickening again in his jocks at his thoughts before hearing a distant voice.

"Hey Zac, you OK man?" Drew sounded worried.

Zac snapped back. "Yeah sorry, I'm OK. I was miles away then with my thoughts. I can't tell you what they were, it'd be a bit embarrassing, even for me."

Drew's mind wandered to his own thoughts after that last from Zac. `A bit embarrassing, I wonder if he's thinking what I'm thinking? Shit, if it wasn't for Cameron, there'd be no stopping me, he's so cute and obviously so horny. Nah, don't think he means that. But he had no qualms about letting me see his hard on, he wasn't embarrassed at all. And then asking me about stopping somewhere quiet, so who knows.' Drew was looking squarely into Zac's eyes as these thoughts ran through his mind and he was sure he could see a twinkle in them.

"OK my friend," Drew said, "lets get moving, we've got a long way to go before tonight."

They returned to the room and packed the overnight bag, Zac putting his spare gear in with Drew's. The bill had been paid the previous night so they piled into the Calais after putting the bag in the boot, Drew fired up the V8 and they headed north.

Neither of them said a word for the first fifteen minutes, each of them deep in their own thoughts. Zac was thinking of his Mum and Dad, his ex home, Jamie, his old school and what the future held for him. Drew was wondering what his parents would say about Zac. They both knew about the way he was, he'd told them some time back and they'd accepted it. They knew about him and Cameron, his soul mate on the Coast. He knew his Dad would be OK, his Mum too. They'd obviously make their own enquiries into Zac, whether he was missing or not, but the police already had all the details they needed, they knew where Zac would be if any reports were made. He wondered what the next stage would be, Zac had no one, nothing, and Drew wondered whether his Dad would consider custody, but that would have to wait, he hadn't even met him yet.

Zac was the first to speak after fifteen minutes silence. "I know I keep saying this Drew, but thanks again man for what you've done for me. I had nothing when you picked me up, I didn't know where I was going or how I was going to get there. If you hadn't swerved around me..." Tears rolled uninhibitedly down his cheeks and he put his head in his hands. "Shit Drew, I've got no one left in my life, no one."

Drew looked sideways at him, he seemed smaller than he had been before and he was obviously deeply distressed. The fire of hate began to burn again in Drew's stomach; he knew if he ever met this Ben asshole, he'd do him some real serious damage. The drunken prick, how could anyone, let alone a guardian do something like that to a cute kid like this, what a complete asshole, obviously wrapped up in his own importance and not giving a stuff about anyone else. Drew knew of a driver rest area just ahead and pulled into it, parked by some bushes and switched off the engine. He turned to Zac.

"You have got someone Zac, you've got me." Drew's voice was wavering owing to the constriction in his throat. "Not only that, but in a few hours time, you'll have Mum and Dad and my brother Glenn as well. There's no way this family is going to see you on your own mate, no way. We're going to see you through this, no matter what happens. Everyone your age deserves better than what you've been dealt Zac, you're a cool kid, you've got the best manners and you're one of the most likeable guys I've met, even though you're a horny bugger." He grinned. "Zac, were you serious with what you said back at the motel, about stopping somewhere I mean?"

Zac looked across at Drew and put a hand on his arm. "Yeah Drew, I was. I don't usually let myself get close to people as quickly as I have to you. Is that why you've pulled in here? I'd hate to do anything to spoil it between you and Cameron."

"So would I Zac," Drew said, "but it's my choice, and after what happened at the room, it'd be my pleasure to make you cum. I'm quite sure if you ever meet Cam, you won't say anything."

"Course not," Zac said, "but it's got to be one for one. If you make me spoof, I gotta make you, it's only fair."

Drew looked deep into his eyes. "Like I said Zac, it's my choice, I want to make you cum and don't expect any return." He reached out a hand, gently grasped Zac behind the head and pulled him towards him. Their lips met without any hesitation, their tongues gently dancing together. Drew's free hand wandered to the fly in Zac's jeans, Zac getting himself into a comfortable position on the seat as he realised what was going to happen. Drew pulled back from the kiss. "Jeez man, you know how to do that."

Zac felt Drew's hand inside the fly of his jeans, gently extracting the object of his interest, and he leaned against the backrest. He'd started thickening before the kiss had happened, and was now as hard as he'd ever been as he felt Drew's soft hand around around his personal property. Drew gazed into his eyes.

"This is for you, you incredibly ultra cute guy," Drew said softly.

Zac gasped as Drew's soft mouth closed around his cock, goading, teasing, testing it's intense sensations. It had been a full week and two days since Zac had last unloaded, and that's too long for any fifteen year old. Within mere moments, he felt it coming from his toes.

"Orgh jeez shit... back off Drew or I'm gonna... argh man, I'm gonna... aarrrgggghhhhh yeah... yeah...!"

Drew felt the incredible charges against the back of his throat, and had difficulty swallowing Zac's complete offering; he certainly hadn't expected this much cum from a fifteen year old. Zac was almost in a trance, never had he spoofed like that before, with anyone. Drew saw his demeanour.

"You obviously enjoyed that," he said with a smile.

"Uurrrgggghhhhh...!" was all Zac could manage.

"That's good then." Drew tucked the now soft member back in Zac's jeans, sat back properly in his seat, put on his seatbelt and started the powerful V8 once again. "OK, we're outa here."

The long drive continued. It took Zac a full fifteen minutes to come down from the incredible high he was on. Finally they crossed the bridge over the Tweed River, passed through Coolangatta and Tugun, Drew deciding to take the Gold Coast Highway so Zac could see the sights. Drew drove up the hill towards Currumbin and the sight that met Zac's eyes as they cleared the top and passed over the Currumbin Creek bridge took his breath away.

There in the distance was the very image of the Gold Coast he'd seen in brochures, tall buildings, standing against one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. His excitement knew no bounds, he was totally awestruck, he was finally in the holiday capital of his homeland, a place he'd only ever thought he'd dream about. Drew saw his excitement and smiled to himself, it was so good to see a happy expression on Zac's face.

Drew pointed out various places to Zac, telling him what they were and what business was conducted in them. They passed through Palm Beach, Burleigh Heads, Miami, Nobby Beach, Mermaid Beach and finally arrived at Broadbeach, Drew asking Zac if he wanted to continue to Surfers Paradise. The look on Zac's face told Drew it had been a stupid question. They cruised through Surfers; Drew thinking Zac's neck was going to break. If it could have turned a full circle, Zac would have been happy. Drew turned into Nerang Street at Southport and made his way through to the road that led to his suburb, Robina. Zac's eyes were everywhere at once, jeez, he'd only ever dreamed of being here, everything looked so new, it was all so cool. Drew pulled into his street, slowing before entering the driveway of their house. Zac's jaw dropped, he couldn't believe what he saw in front of him, it had to be the largest, most beautiful two storey house he had ever seen. Drew stopped the car and looked at Zac.

"We're home buddy, finally here." He studied the look on Zac's face, almost amused at his expression.

Drew got out of the car as his mother opened the front door, almost running to him and encircling him with her arms. "Welcome home son, it good to see you back," then noticing Zac, "well, who's this stranger?"

Drew introduced them. "Is Dad home yet?" he asked.

"Not yet Drew, he'll only be another half hour as far as I know," his Mother replied.

"OK then, story time." He took his Mother by the arm and put his other hand on Zac's shoulder, "Come on peoples, let me tell you what's happened here."

They went inside, Zac still marvelling at the enormity of the house. Drew led the way to the sunken lounge room and plonked himself on a sofa while his Mother and Zac sat on rockers. Drew relayed the entire story from start to finish, noticing definite moisture in his Mothers eyes when he had finished. She looked across at Zac.

"You poor little bugger," she said, "you deserve better than that. Look Zac, you can stay here as long as you want, if you're a friend of Drew's, you're a friend of ours."

hey heard the front entrance open and a loud, gruff voice bellow, "Righto, who left that piece of shit in the middle of my driveway?"

Zac tensed immediately, his hands grasping the arms of the rocker, his knuckles white. The voice sounded so similar to the one he had been used to at home. Both Drew and his Mum saw his reaction and were quick to reassure him.

"Don't worry Zac," Drew's Mum said, "it's only Stan, Drew's father. He sounds gruff and angry most of the time, and he swears a lot but he's a real pussy cat at heart."

Zac relaxed a little before seeing a giant of a man enter the lounge. He was at least six feet six and as solid as a rock; not fat, just solid. Drew stood and walked to the entrance of the lounge only to be given a bear hug by his Dad.

"Bloody good to have you home again boy, bloody good." He looked over Drew's head, something that wasn't real hard for him to do, and spotted Zac. "Hello," he said, "who've we got here?"

Drew introduced them, Zac receiving a handshake like a steel trap.

"OK Dad," Drew said, "we've got some talking to do. Mum, could you show Zac around and get him a drink while Dad and me talk this out?"

"Of course I can," she said. "Come on Zac, let's get you a drink and show you around this dump. I'm not one for formalities, so I want you to call me Del, it's short for Delia. You OK with that mate?"

Zac nodded, it was quickly becoming clear to him this was one laid back family. He'd already been made welcome in the house, by people he'd never met, and he was already feeling more or less at home. Del got him a large tumbler of cordial and told him to follow her as she showed him around the huge house. At the end of the tour, he was totally dumb struck; he'd never even imagined a house of these proportions before. They finally went out the back and sat by the pool, Del asking him questions he was happy and relaxed in answering.

Drew and Stan were in the study, Drew relaying the whole, sad story to his Dad. When he had finished, Stan just stared at the wall, a look of total disgust on his face.

"Jesus Christ," he said, "just for jacking with his mate? Shit, I was young once myself, I can remember doing that with my mates. That Ben must be a total asshole. Look Drew, you haven't done anything with...? No, sorry mate, I know you've got more sense than that and anyway, you've got Cameron. Dunno about your brother though, I wouldn't mind betting he likes it both ways."

"Glenn?" Drew sounded astonished. "He's got more chicks than you could poke a stick at."

"Yeah, but he's also very friendly with young Chuck. He's had him over here more than just a few times to stay and I've heard some pretty funny noises coming from his room when I've gone to take a piss at night. Still, it's up to him, it's his life and he makes the choices, same as you did."

So what do you reckon Dad, about Zac I mean?"

Stan thought for a while. "I'll contact Bob, our solicitor tomorrow. He owes me a favour, he hasn't done fuck all for me lately except take my money off me, lazy bastard." He grinned. "I'll contact him tomorrow and see where we stand. Zac seems to be a pretty good kid, you obviously get on well."

"Yeah, you're right there Dad," Drew replied, "he's a real cool kid. Poor little bugger had nothing when I picked him up, but since then, he's been nothing but appreciative for the small things I've done for him. Shit Dad, he didn't even have any clothes apart from the crap he was wearing. I threw them in a bin at a road house and bought him some new ones. He told me that was the nicest thing anyone had done for him in a long time."

"Is that all he's got, what he's wearing?" Stan asked.

Yeah, apart from an extra t-shirt and a couple of casual shirts, jumpers, socks and jocks I bought him." Drew replied.

"OK, we'll fix that tomorrow. What did it cost you?" Stan queried.

"Just over two eighty," Drew replied.

Stan fished in his back pocket, withdrawing his wallet. He handed Drew three one hundred dollar notes. "Here you go. Now, I want you to take him to the Town Centre tomorrow, and get him anything he wants. Don't worry about how much it costs, we're not exactly broke." He grinned. "Get the kid what he deserves, I'll leave the decision to you. Now, I wanna meet him properly. Jeez, I hope I don't scare the shit out of him."

"You've already done that Dad," Drew said, grinning.

They found Zac and Del by the pool. Drew went and sat with Del, and Stan beckoned Zac over to him. "OK Zac, Drew's told me the whole story and let me honestly say I feel for you mate. You've been dealt a real shitty hand, but you can be assured that until this mess is sorted out, you're more than welcome to live with us, for however long it takes. Consider yourself part of the family Zac and just let me say welcome." He put his huge arms around Zac and gave him a bear hug before they both made their way back to the others. "Get yer old man a beer Drew, jeez, what do you think I pay you for?"

Drew walked back into the house. Del had given Zac a pair of Glenn's shorts to wear and a tank top as the weather was a lot hotter than he was used to. He looked good in the gear; it suited him and showed off his upper body and legs to perfection. There was a noise from the house like an express train and Glenn appeared, his eyes immediately locking onto Zac.

"Well," he said, his eyes studying Zac's every detail, "where did they find you?" He moved over and sat beside Zac, his eyes still busy.

"Leave him alone for chrisake Glenn," Stan said. "Jeez, he's only just got here."

"Yeah, OK," Glenn turned back to Zac. "I just wanna get to know him, that's all," he said, his eyes still running all over Zac.

Glenn was sixteen, the same height as Zac and almost exactly the same build with short dark hair. He was better looking than Drew, having a fun loving face with laugh lines at the corners of his eyes. It was obvious from just looking at him; he enjoyed life to the full.

Finally Zac was at the place he had been told to call home. He'd been made one of the family and felt a warmth flowing through him he hadn't felt in a very long time. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for these people, they were kind and generous and Zac was warming to them quickly. What did the future hold for him? Only time would be the deciding factor in that.
