Life After Mike Chapter 8
Jerry woke the following morning and was feeling much better than he had felt in a long time. Today his lover was finally coming home, he was excited as he could be. He looked at the clock and it was 6:15 AM and he decided to see if mom was awake. he looked out of the bedroom and saw that there was no movement in the kitchen, he listened at her door and could hear nothing. he decided that he would go to the kitchen and make coffee for mom so it would be ready when she got up. As he went into the kitchen he was thinking to himself that he had never made coffee before, he thought how hard could it be, he open the cabinet and took out the coffee filters, then went to the fridge to get the coffee, he took the pot and filled it to the 12 cup line and a little more just for evaporation, he open the coffee, took the scoop that was inside and looked at it, thinking that this thing was awful small, he filled the scoop to level and then added 6 scoop and then another half, he remembered seeing his mother sprinkle in some salt, she said it was for bitterness, then he poured the water into the back, placed the pot on the heating pad and turned it on, he stood there for a moment and waited for it to start to drip and then headed back to the bedroom to do a few things before they went to get Paul.
Mom came out of the bedroom in her robe and they bumped into each other, mom said sorry I was going out to make coffee.
Jerry said I just started it so it should be ready in about 10 minutes.
Mom said fine and then said she was going to take a shower, she went back into her room and closed the door behind her.
Jerry went into his room and closed the behind him as well, he looked around and saw that the room was is a little bit of a state of disarray, and new that he had better clean it up before Paul got home. He busied himself picking things he had left on the floor, and also decided that he would do a little dusting, then he made the bed and headed for the shower, he finished cleaning up and got dressed and was sitting in the kitchen when mom came in.
She said good morning and walked over to the cabinet opened it and grabbed a coffee cup, headed over to the pot and poured herself a cup, she drank her coffee black without sugar, and so there was nothing to help hide the taste of the very first pot of coffee ever made by Jerry, as the cup touched her lips she could smell how strong it was and after the first sip, her eyes got wide and she sat down quickly.
Jerry said well how is the coffee, it is the first time I ever made it.
Mom smiled and said " I have to admit I have never had coffee like this before, it is just indescribable." How did you make it?
Jerry said well about 6 and a half scoops of coffee and I put some salt in there to for bitterness. I saw my mom do that.
Mom smiled and said Jerry, there is something I need to teach you if you are going to continue to make coffee..
Jerry started to look a little sad.
Mom walked over and hugged him and said please do not be upset, you did fine, you just added to much coffee, and salt, let me explain. First you only have to add 3 scoops and as far as the salt goes it is just a dash.
Jerry said well I guess I really can't seem to do anything right!
Mom smiled and said, Jerry do you Love Paul?
Jerry then smiled and said " with all my heart "!
Mom said well that seems pretty right to me.
Jerry said I have taken a shower and am ready whenever you are to go get Paul.
Mom said why don't I go get dressed and we can go pick him up and stop and have breakfast on the way home.
Jerry smiled then stood up, hugged mom and said sounds like a plan.
They left the house about 9:00 and headed for the hospital. When they arrived they went up to Paul's floor and when they got there a nurse stopped them and said that Paul wasn't there.
Jerry fell to his knees and started to cry. God what am I going to do without him.
Mom pulled him to his feet and hugged him.
The nurse said what is the matter, Paul just went down to the second floor to play and read stories to the kids down there, he did not expect you until around 10:00, I will call and let him know you are here, as the nurse turned she said I am sorry for making you think something awful, by the way the doctor was here and said that Paul can go home today.
Mom thanked the nurse and said to Jerry why don't we go to Paul room and pack up his stuff so when can go as soon as he gets here and I have signed the paperwork. They busied themselves and had every thing ready to go when Paul got back to his room.
he walked in and was standing there in his hospital gown and said I didn't realize that you would be here this early Sorry.
Mom said that no problem, you get dressed and I will go sign the paperwork so we can get out of here. She left the room and left the boys by themselves.
Paul said I should get changed, he took off his gown and was standing there naked in front of Jerry, semi hard and just as beautiful as always.
Jerry looked at him and said there is nothing that I have seen in my life that compares with the beauty that is standing before me at this very second, Paul " I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART, I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU. Then he walked over to Paul and hugged him gently and lightly kissed him on the lips. then said come om lets get outta here.
Paul smiled and got dressed and said I am with you, lets make our escape.
They opened the door and as they did the nurse commented that they were such a cute couple. Both boys blushed, their eyes widened and they they immediately headed for the elevators to make their getaway.
Mom finished signing the papers and said thanks for taking such good care of her son.
The nurse said that it was her pleasure, and that when he grows up he is going to be a heart-breaker, if he isn't already.
Mom smiled and turned and headed down the hall to two very hungry waiting boys, the elevator arrived and they headed to the first floor and on the way down decided to go to IHOP, they left the hospital and headed for the van and then to breakfast. After breakfast the headed home. When they got there Jerry got out opened the door for Paul and as he stepped out he scooped him up and carried him to the door and then inside, he went into the living room and placed him gently on the couch,He said if you want anything you just call and I will get it for you, that's an order.
Paul looked up at Jerry, smiled and then saluted him followed by an aye aye sir.
The rest of the day went by quickly. when it came time for bed Jerry walked over picked him up and carried him to the bedroom he placed him down gently on the bed and asked if he could undress him.
Paul smiled and said there is no one else that I would rather have take my cloths off than you.
Jerry started to undress Paul and by the time he was down to Paul's boxers, not only was Paul very erect, Jerry was also.
They looked at each other and with sorrow in his eyes Paul brokenheartedly said Jerry I am so sorry. I can not have sex with you now, but I promise I will make it up to you.
Jerry smiled and said Paul, I would wait forever for you, but the important thing is is that you are here with me, I am so very happy you are home.
Both boys striped down to nothing and got ready for a good nights sleep.
Jerry snuggled up next to Paul.
Paul snuggled up next to Jerry, put his head on his shoulder and draped his arm over his chest, then he said now I finally feel like I am home, he kissed Jerry on the neck and said good night my love..
Jerry said good night I love you, and kissed him on the top of the head.
The boy had gone through a lot over the past several weeks and at last they were finally back together again, they did not know for how long but they were going to make the best of it, they fell asleep nuzzled next to each other, with the thoughts of another bright and beautiful day that they would awaken to.
