Charles indicated to Adam to come outside with him and once back in the ante-room he said how shocked he was.

Over the next two hours almost everyone came up to give Adam and Adi their condolences. All their friends were there. Ryan and Juan, Tony and Dan, Jay, Matt, Jason, Liam, Rob, Jake, Michael and Sven from Brighton, Carlos and Andres from France, Oliver, Jamie, Rafael and Kamol, Spencer from Key West, and even Dr Anderson and Ron were there plus many others. The only person Adam couldn't see was James from Miami and he wondered why. They all had something lovely to say about Luke and how he'd helped them in some way or another. Adam felt more and more privileged to have known Luke and to have had his love.
Finally people started leaving and Sam led Adam and Adi out to a waiting car where Adam's mum and Frank were waiting.
"I'll be in touch tomorrow Adam" Sam said as she closed the car door and smiled.
Once inside, Adam broke down and cried and cried. Adi put his arms round him to try and console him but there was too much to get out so the others just let him cry. When they got home, Frank and Adi got out leaving Adam and his mum in the car.
"We're going to get the train home now Adam and leave you and Adi on your own if that's okay. Frank and Adi have gone up to get our bags."
Adam just nodded not really taking it all in.
"You and Adi really love each other don't you? I can see it in your eyes."
Adam nodded without saying anything.
"You are a lucky man Adam to have had two wonderful people love you so much at your age. Some of us don't manage to find that kind of love for the whole of our lives."
"I know" Adam croaked between the tears.
"I know you gave up a lot to look after Luke and I know he loved you with all his heart. You've also done a lot for Adi but it's time to let him look after you now. You deserve that and I'm very proud of you."
Adam looked at her and managed to say "Thanks" as he hugged and kissed her.
Soon Frank and Adi were back down with the bags and Adam and his mum got out of the car. His mum pulled Adi into her arms and kissed him, "Look after him for me won't you". Adi nodded and looked at Adam with a loving look.
Frank then hugged both of them and gave each a kiss on their cheeks. Finally Adam's mum did the same before getting into the car. Adi put his arms round Adam and they waved them off.
When they'd finally got into the apartment, they both slumped down onto a sofa and hugged and kissed. There was nothing else to say. They now had the job of getting on with their lives without Luke.
Later, Adi asked whether Adam would remain in the apartment.
"I like it here; what do you think?"
Adi said he did too "I find it comforting and can still sense Luke around us. I don't want to lose that do you?"
Adam agreed and said they'd continue living there.
"Does everything come to you now?" Adi asked.
Adam then explained that he knew Luke had made at least two bequests in his will to charities and that there were special provisions regarding the firm, "But the London and Brighton apartments will be mine as his civil partner along with everything else but the house in France was put in the names of Luke, myself, Carlos and Andres so I presume Luke's share will come to me."
"Oh" Adi replied nodding.
"But one thing I do know for sure is that Luke made provision for you Adi"
"Me?"
"Yes, I know he's left you a sizeable sum of money"
"For me? Why?"
"Because he loved you and wanted you to have some independence my love"
Adi looked at Adam dismayed. He couldn't believe someone could do such a thing for him.
"But of course once we've done the Civil Partnership we'll share everything"
Adi grinned and put his head on Adam's chest. As he did so he also put his hand into Adam's crotch without really thinking. It was such a natural thing to do.
Adam chuckled, "You're getting me hard you know".
Adi looked up and grinned, "Shall we go to bed?"
"Yeah, let's go to bed" Adam replied grinning.
Two days later, Adi and Adam were sitting in the solicitor's office for the reading of Luke's will.
"Well, it's all fairly straight forward" the solicitor was saying, "Luke made sure everything was in good order".
"Yeah, that's my Luke" Adam chuckled.
"He's made two bequests - one to a charity for disabled people in Brighton and another to the hospital where I believe you worked Adam. He's also bequeathed a small sum to Sam Baines for her help and support over the years. As his Civil Partner, Adam, the London and Brighton properties automatically become yours of course because as you know he made both of them jointly owned after your Civil Partnership. Also, Luke's share of the property in France comes to you. We will need to prepare the necessary paperwork to put that into effect to comply with French law. Luke's fifty one percent share of the business is split with ten percent to you and the remaining forty one percent to Charles making him the major shareholder. It was Luke's wish that Charles become the Chairman as well. You will of course receive a lump sum from the pension scheme and a survivor's pension for life. His other assets will come to you after the appropriate fees and taxes have been paid. That leaves one remaining item and that concerns you Adi. Luke has bequeathed you a sizeable sum so that you have your own financial independence."
The solicitor then showed Adi the sum and Adi gasped. He couldn't believe the amount he was to get. He was about to say he couldn't possible accept such a sum but Adam interjected and he said nothing. It was more money than he ever dreamt of having in his whole life and he'd only known Luke for three years. He looked at Adam who was smiling at him. Adi just held his hand and sat there not knowing what to say.
"It will take a couple of months to tie things up but I don't expect any problems as Luke had everything very well organised" the solicitor was saying.
"Oh, there is one other thing" he added, "Luke sent me this a few months ago with an express instruction that I pass it to you Adam in the event of him predeceasing you."
The solicitor then handed Adam a sealed envelope.
"I suggest you take it home and read it in private since it does not have any bearing on the estate from what Luke has told me."
With everything done, Adam and Adi left and made their way home. Adam went straight into the living room and opened the sealed envelope. He couldn't imagine what Luke would have written to him. He then read the following letter:
'My darling Adam, by the time you are reading this I will no longer be with you and in the other place if you believe in all that. Anyhow, I wanted to say that I loved you more than you can ever imagine. You changed my life and as I've said on many occasions I couldn't have coped without you. Since Adi has joined us I know you and he have become very close which I was more than happy to see. I too loved Adi but I think it is safe to say that you are his favourite and he adores you. Assuming he is still with you when you read this I want you to make him as happy as you did me by marrying him, well you know - do the CP thing like we did. I know you love him as much as he loves you and as much as you loved me. I have never known anybody who could love two people with such passion and I loved you for that. I know you will think it only proper to wait for some time before you enter into a Civil Partnership with Adi but assuming you both want to do it then please don't wait. Do it sooner rather than later. As you well know, we never know what tomorrow will bring and I would hate to think you and he don't tie the knot out of respect for me. If people raise their eyebrows just tell them it was me who told you to do it my love!
If there is such a thing as another place, I will be watching over you always.

Adam read the note twice over and when he had he cried and cried. Adi came to sit beside him and asked what was wrong. Without saying anything, Adam passed Adi the letter for him to read. When he'd read it, he bawled his eyes out. The pair of them just sat and cried until their eyes were stinging with tears. They just didn't know what to say. Instead they hugged each other tight and kissed.
When they eventually calmed down they looked at each other.
"Two things; first we fix a date for our Civil Partnership and I suggest we make it the anniversary of mine and Luke's in December; secondly I give you that extra fuck that Luke has asked me to do!"
Adi grinned and said "Yes" to both things!
They both found that sex between them was different now. It was very intense and much more passionate. Adam had always enjoyed sex with Luke but he now found he had the same level of enjoyment with Adi. They held each other tight kissing and feeling for a long time before finally getting down to sex. Adi grinned at Adam and lifted his legs as if to say 'Take me now'. Adam grinned back and without saying anything he lubed his cock and slowly pushed it into Adi's gorgeous hole.

They soon got into a routine without Luke although they both missed him terribly. Adam missed Luke's highs and lows and generally looking after him, and Adi missed pushing him in the wheelchair whenever they went out. Now they no longer had a wheelchair to manipulate, they used public transport most days and Adi gradually found his way round London.
He gave up being an escort and the on-line work but he continued doing the odd film for Raphael and modelling work when required. Various clothes catalogues were now asking for him specifically so he was often posing in swimwear and scanty items of underwear. Adi was also working on another play. In this one he had a larger part so had more lines to learn but he seemed to have a natural ability to learn them and to get into character. The studio gave him acting lessons as well so he was very pleased with the way he life was developing. The current play required him to strip off a couple of times but he was always happy to oblige!
Adi no longer went to Ron every month but the three of them became good friends and often went out for a meal together or to the theatre or the opera which Adi found he rather enjoyed. Sometimes they would either go back to Ron's apartment for a good threesome or to Adam and Adi's.
Adam's birthday came and went. There was no surprise party this year but they did go out for a meal at a posh restaurant. They managed to book their Civil Partnership for the same date in December as Luke and Adam's had been but it was a very small affair. The ceremony was at the local Registry Office and they invited Juan and Ryan, Tony and Dan, and Sam. They told everyone that it had been Luke's wish for the two of them to do it and everyone understood.
Luke's estate was eventually tied up and Adam and Adi found themselves multi millionaires. Luke had made arrangements in his will that the flat he had purchased for Ryan and Juan would automatically go to them on his death so they were now on their own and looked after their own business. Adam stopped going to the firm since there was no need and it brought back too many sad memories. He and Sam kept in contact and they met up with Tony and Dan every so often.
They spent Christmas in Cap Ferrat with Carlos and Andres and enjoyed the relaxation with them and the other guests spending Christmas at the B&B. They put on a Christmas dinner for everyone and had a good time with lots of fun and games including sex!
In March, Adam and Adi went down to Cornwall to see Adam's mum and Frank. It too brought back many sad memories but he had promised to go down again since his mum hadn't been too well.
In April, they were asked by Jake if they'd attend another fundraising night for his charity. Luke had left a sizeable sum to the charity and Adam intended on giving them large donations every so often. Jake wanted to set up a trust in Luke's name that could be used to help other disabled gays like they had for Michael & Sven. Adi had been given a range of sexy underwear from the Soho shop he modelled for and suggested that he and Adam model the items during the auction. They also suggested that the successful bidder could remove the item from the model on stage. Jake loved the idea so everything was set up.
Adam and Adi stayed at the Brighton apartment for that week. It again seemed strange without Luke but they decided as they had with the London apartment they liked it too much to sell and find another. It was somehow comforting to know that Luke was still in their thoughts when they were there.
The auction went off extremely well and the bids kept going higher and higher as guys wanted the pleasure of stripping Adam and Adi of the garment in question. There were six in all so the assembled crowd had the pleasure of stripping each of them three times!
Jake announced the sad death of Luke and how he had left the charity a large sum of money for the new trust which would be named after him. Adam and Adi had tears running down their face as Jake announced it and they noticed Michael & Sven did also. Several guys came up to them afterwards and gave their condolences and said how much they enjoyed Luke's singing.
Adam and Adi now had the money to do whatever they wanted when they wanted so they travelled to places neither of them ever dreamt they would be able to visit. They never went back to Miami or Key West. Neither of them felt they could do that. It would be too painful. But they did visit New York, Washington, Los Angeles, San Francisco as well as Canada, and Australia.
The years seemed to slip by and Adi's acting career got bigger and bigger. Adam became his manager more for something to do but also because Adi wanted him rather than someone he didn't know if he could trust. Adam quickly learnt all about being a performer's manager but somehow it worked.
One day when they were both sitting on the terrace of the London apartment having just had a very nice meal, Adi looked at Adam and smiled.
"Do you know it is thirty years to the day since you and Luke found me on that bench in Leeds crying my eyes out? Who would have thought that our lives would change so much and that I would find love at last."
Adam knelt beside Adi and hugged him tight.
