I hope that you have the patientice that you have shown when my son's friend Mike wrote the previous parts. First off I am Marty, the proud dad of my son Mike who has been the star player at New Town High School. They asked me to submit this chapter in my own view of the relationship between Mike and Mark, because their friend Mike ( the blind gentleman that has sent in the other parts) is still under the weather from what I have been told is an inner ear infection.

Some people have told me that I have spoiled Mike, and made it so that he seems to take Mark for granted. If I have than I really owe Mark the biggest "I am sorry", and I would mean every word of it. Mark is like a second son to me. OK !!! He is more like a son-in-law and I am glad that Mike has found such a nice guy. I need to step back to just prior to Christmas when both boys where with me shopping at the Towson Town Center, and Mark had emptied his saving account to buy Mike a plain gold "wedding" band. Mike had told me that he planned to give Mark a ring at the Spring Fling, but Mike had access to one of my credit cards to buy the ring at Michael's in Pikesville. Mark, on the other hand had been working cutting grass, washing cars, anything he could to put money in the bank, and he later told me that his grandmother had always told him to work for anything is what is the best thing for a young man like himself.

Me, a retired NFL football player who divorced my wife after finding her cheating with a local sports coach. I am proud to state that even when I played as well as now while as I take care of both my son Mike and Mark, that I am a gay male. I consider myself to be a good role model for my son and the young man that he has taken as his boyfriend/partner. Some people ask me if I have any objections to the two teenagers sharing a bedroom, and a bed. The answer is NO. It took a trip to visit the guys friend Mike and his guide dog Bagger to finally realize that I had spoiled my son, because Mike could not do what Mark could when blindfolded. Mark, was able to describe every part of my sons body, and bring him to orgasm while letting his fingers describe Mike's body. When I asked their friend Mike, why my son was not able to do the same for Mark. I did not really care for the answer that I got, but it is the truth. He told me point blank that Mike would never be able to feel the same things that Mark did sexually while Mark used his fingers to go over Mike because I had made Mike a spoiled brat. Their friend Mike, gave me an example: The gold band that Mark emptied his saving ( college fund) account so that he paid for the ring himself, and than when I bought a matching band similar to the one that Mike had charged to give to Mark. He asked me, " Marty did you ever think how important it was to Mark that he used his own money? and why did you allow Mike to have a credit card?"

Boy their friend really knew how to hit a guy where it hurts. I listened to everything that he told me, and than asked him if my plans for the summer vacation would help or hurt the boys relationship. Since school gets out in a week and I had planned on going to Rehoboth Beach for the summer, and putting the money back in Mark's saving account so that he had his own money when it came time to go off to college. Once again I was hit in the gut as I visited their blind friend in the hospital telling him of my plans. Here is what Mike said to me," Marty are you trying to buy Mark's love as well as your own son's love." The reason that I ask you that question is simple: Mark has already approached me to help me out with Bagger while I am in the hospital, and we agreed that I would pay him $100.00 for taking care of Bagger while I am under the weather, but I can see Marty that you must have only talked to Mike about what to do this summer, and not both of the boys.

Marty, I am not trying to tell you how to raise the boys, but I need to let you know that Mark feels like he is a bought boy, and by that I mean if he wants something Mike buys it for him without asking Mark if he has saved up for it. Marty, please do not take this the wrong way my friend, but Mike has become a materialistic young man. I asked him to explain that to me especially since he is blind, and once again I got a major reality check thrown at me.

Marty, I hope that you remember what I am saying is as a friend and nothing else. Mark stopped by here before the Spring Fling to tell me that he preferred to rent a tuxedo or just wear a suit, but Mike insisted that they both wear new tuxedoes.

I know that is nothing in your mind Marty, especially since you have provided a great life for both of the boys, but I have to remind you that Mark is not like Mike and never will be like him. I am not saying that Mike is a bad person or anything like that, but its what is on the inside that matters to most people over what or how much money you have to spend on " so called friends". Marty, I would bet you anything that if you sent somebody over to The Glyndon Pool Club, and had them talk to his "so called friends" that the report they gave back to you would make not only yourself ill, but it would also make Mike ill also. The problem with telling Mike how the report went is that those,"so called friends" would suffer when either practice or school starts up in late August. Because Mike is the "BMC" Big Man on Campus, and if he tells somebody that so and so needs to be taught a lesson. Well you do not know if it would happen during a practice or during school, just not piss off the "Star Player".

Marty, can I ask you to stop by and visit me after you and Mike go to the beach, and if you have no problem with it Mark will stay at my place to take care of the dog. You and I need to talk about what is going to happen with the boys especially as they enter their Sophomore Year at New Town. I like you allot Marty, and know that you are taking over the typing for me while I am laid up either here or at home. Hopefully you and the guys will discuss what is happening this summer, and let them be teenagers. Most importantly Marty, take the damn credit cards away from Mike so that he learns that computers, rings, and especially special friends like Mark do not grow on trees. Tell both guys that I miss their visits, and please ask Mark to start taking in my mail, and if their are any bills for him to call me this weekend. Marty, Mark has almost become my second set of eyes, and this is another example of Mike being materialistic because Mike told me to hire a maid like you have to handle the bills.

Marty, there is a secret that I need to share with you, and you alone. Mark's dad as you though he was the asshole that was run out of town as well as my ex-wife. Yeah Marty, Mark is really my son, but he is never to know the truth for reasons that I will tell you later after I get out of here, and back in my own home. Marty, take care of my boy as well as that fine young man that Mark has as his partner/boyfriend. Please tell the boys that they can start to drop over and give me the new tapes about summer and the start of football practice.

After I left Mike's hospital bed I was shocked to hear that Mark was really his son, and not that he loved Mike just as much as much as his own son. I wonder why he can not tell Mark who he really is, because you could here his voice start to tear up when ever he mentioned Mark's name. Well I guess that answer will have to wait till after the boys get back from a weekend at the beach.

Next installment hopefully within 10 days to 2 weeks

Next: Chapter 15
