This is my first piece of fan fiction. Please send me any feedback and comments. I will also like to know what you think should happen next in this story. THIS IS A WORK OF FICTION -- at least that is what I will tell you e-mail me at LanceFan2001@aol.com

My Lance

It was your normal, day on the Garden Island of Kauai: Sunny, warm, a gentle tradewind blowing through the tall palm trees. However, like most days, there was nothing to do on this stupid island.

I woke up to the radio blaring, telling me that it was noon. The DJ said that the surf was up at Kalapaki Beach, so I decided to do one of my favorite past times: surfing!

It was a great day for the beach. There were no clouds to be seen, and one could taste the salt as a breeze blew from the mighty Pacific Ocean. The water was cold as I paddled out into the majestic blue waters. It was a pleasing cool. The water brushed against my 5'11" body. My blond hair was wet, and my tan, toned body was pleased to be at the beach.

The surf was really up that day. However, as I surfed, I noticed this blond guy on the shore. I thought he was just watching the surf scene, but as the day went on, I noticed his binoculars were pointed at me the whole time. So, being the kind of guy that I am, I decided to show off a little.

I was doing my thing, surfing the best I ever had, when all of a sudden I lost my balance, and I was tossed in the water. I found myself under water, and as I broke the surface, I saw my surfboard come crashing down towards my head and... Nothing.

I woke up, coughing up some water, and nearly hitting someone on my way to sit up. As I lay back down, I notice the blond guy looking down on me. I have a feeling that he gave me CPR to save my life!

"You gave me quite a scare there," he said.

"Really? Well sorry about that," I replied, "I kinda just lost my balance for a second and well, you know the rest of the story."

As, I looked up, I noticed he had the cutest green puppy dog eyes. And this smile that he was giving me, it was enough to make a guy melt!

"You know," the blond stranger said, "you should really get that lump on your head looked at."

"Nah," I said, "My friends have always told me that I have a hard head, I guess that this is just proof of it."

The blond stranger laughs at this.

"Well, I am Steve," I say as I extend my hand.

"I'm Lance," he says as he takes my hand and shakes it.

And then I realize, I am shaking hands with none other than the famous Lance Bass, of 'NSYNC, one of my favorite bands! I decide to play it cool and not say anything though, I mean, he is only human, right?

"Great to meet you Lance," I say, "You know, I think that the least I owe you is dinner or something. I know this quiet restaurant, wanna go?"

"Sure, but it surprises me that you are thinking about food at a time like this. Are you sure that you're o-kay?" he asks concerned.

"I am fine," I reply, "This kind of stuff happens all the time, but I should get my board."

Lance laughs a little as I say this. "You mean that thing over there?"

My surfboard is broken in half. One part is on the sand; the other half is floating on the waves.

"Well, at least that wasn't me," I reply.

"Hey, do you want to come up to my room?" he asks, "I have a room at the Marriott, and you could at least lie down there or something."

"Sure," I reply.

As we leave the beach, I give my surfboard one last look, and shake my head. "My poor board," I think to myself.

Lance and I walk around the huge pool and to an unfamiliar alleyway. I follow him to an elevator that I never noticed before. As we enter the elevator, I notice the glass windows.

"Are you sure your head is o-kay?" he asks.

"It hurts a little, but all it needs is a little ice," I reply.

The view as the elevators go up is breathtaking. One can see the whole Kalapaki Beach, the tropical foliage of the Marriott, and the beautiful sunset.

"It's beautiful, isn't it," Lance says.

"It's fantastic, but not as great as the person standing right next to me," I say, a smirk on my face.

Lance turns this deep shade of red, a little embarrassed. We look into each other's eyes, and draw in closer when all of a sudden the elevator stops.

We break, the passion and beauty of the moment gone.

Lance exits the elevator, shaking his head a little. I follow behind him. We reach a door, and he opens it for me.

"Welcome to my humble abode," he says with a smirk.

The room that he revealed was far from humble. Palatial was more like it. This place was huge! Not even I knew that the Marriott had rooms like this. There seemed to be at least two bedrooms, a living area and a kitchenette. The living area's wall was like a huge window. There was a kick-ass view of the beach, and everything that was outside, and in one corner stood a baby grand piano.

"You call this humble?" I asked in awe.

Lance just blushes. He goes to the kitchenette and pulls out a few ice trays and puts them in a plastic bag. "Here, put this on your head. Oh, do you need some aspirin? I have some of that too, wait a sec."

"Thanks Lance."

"Hey man, no problem."

Well, that's the end of Part I. I assure you that Part II will be a little steamier. We are developing a relationship here, not just your wham bam, thank you man story here. PLEASE, this is my first attempt at fan fiction. PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE! COMMENTS BOTH POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE are greatly appreciated! E-mail me at LanceFan2001@aol.com

Special thanks to Billy who inspired me to write this story.
