I woke up with an extreme urge to meet Will again. I miss his beautiful smirk, his charm, his body, but what I wanted the most was his love. It has been a week already and we never planned anything special for just the two of us. We were to busy with school and making out hehe. Now, it was finally the weekend and our chance to be with each other, alone with nobody to disturb us.

Will planned something for us tonight and I was excited more than ever. He always found ways to impress me no matter what. It was what I loved about him. But before the date I had to wait till it was actually time to go. Mom ordered me downstairs to join them for breakfast. "Morning honey." Mom said giving me a kiss on the forehead."

"Morning Mom." Dad was at the background coughing like I forgot somebody.

"Good morning to you too, Dad. How can I forget?"

"You better not." And he went back reading to his newspaper.

Dad is just a normal Dad, a boring guy, but what can you do about it? Mom was also a normal mom, a housewife and all. Come to think of it, my family IS kind of boring, isn't it? Oh well, after breakfast I bid my parents Farwell and I went out to kill some time before the big date. I went over to Chris's house. Chris was a rare best friend I know, we use to do all these crazy stuff back in the day, pulling pranks on old people and etc. Even though we were both very different people, it was that difference that really kept us together.

"Chris . . ." I whispered. He couldn't hear me, so I banged on his window.

He jumped out of his bed and looked around with a sleepy daze plastered on his face. After a few minutes of basically yelling his name and slamming on his window, Chris got my attention. He opened the window, "Dude, you know what time it is?"

"Yeah, I thought I could chill with you for a while."

"Sure man, just let me put on some clothes."

He left me standing there for a long ass time. When he finally opened the window, he was dressed unusually nice. I knew Chris for a while and he doesn't just dress nice unless it was something special like a date.

"Whoa, where are you going?" I asked

"What? You don't like my outfit?"

"It looks good. So, what are we going to do?"

"My parents are still sleeping. We could sneak out of the house if you want and go to the pits."

"Sure."

Me and Chris fell out of the window and proceeded on with our day. The pits was a clear area with a hole in the middle. The hole wasn't deep at all, but clear enough to see that there was a hole and it had this comfy log we could sit in and talk. This was usually our place, a place to talk about our problems, girls, and life in general. There were trees surrounding the area wonderfully because when the sun comes up it gave the vanilla skies beautiful colors we couldn't explain, but just beautiful.

I layed on Chris's back and just awed at how something so simple as in looking at clouds can give me such a warm feeling inside. "Chris?" I asked.

"Yeah?"

"I can't wait till tonight. Me and Will are going out. It should be great."

"You always talk about Will. Will this and Will that. Dude, talk about something else."

"What the hell is the matter with you?" I said in a cruel tone.

Chris stood up from the log and I fell back a little. I looked up to see what the hell was wrong with him. Wait . . . I heard some sobbing coming from his direction. Why is he crying? I felt really bad. Maybe I went a little to far?

"Chris, I'm really sorry for talking to you like that." He shrugged my hand off his shoulder.

"It's.it's not your fault. It's me, me and my stupid problems."

"What problems? Come on, talk to me. I thought we were best friends?"

"We are, but that's the problem."

"A problem? What are you talking about? There's something wrong with being best friends now?"

I was feeling really hurt about all this. Chris and I had been through a lot and we had never done anything to ever separate our friendship. When he first moved into this neighborhood we were actually inseparable. We grew up together and done everything. What could it be that can separate such a bond we had. My eyes were really beginning to water and I couldn't stop. After one dropped, the others followed and it just kept on going. "Jack I'm so sorry."

Was that it? Our friendship was going to end just like that, without even me knowing why! I couldn't take it any more; all that suffering he had just put me through. So I got up from the log and walked away. But I heard his footsteps from behind. I didn't stop, not for him. Why should I? He grabbed both of my arms and pulled me in. He kissed me?

I shoved him off and said. "What was that for?"

He spoke softly in my ear and said, "I love you."

"You're kidding rite?"

Chris was crying with me. He seemed as confused as I was. What just happened here? My best friends kissed me and confessed his love for me. What am I suppose to do. He was cute and all, but Will was the one for me. Yes, me and Chris went through a lot, but most of the time we were just friends and that's all it was to me, a friendship. I never had feelings for him. But could I do? My date with Will was coming up and I couldn't just leave him here. So instead I did the only thing that I could of done.

"Chris you know I love you, but just as friends. I can't explain what you're feeling rite now, but I am not the one for you. I can't give you the love you deserve and I don't' want to hurt you anymore, ever. You are my best friend since grade school and what we have right now is so much more then what two lovers can have. But I can't share anything intament with you because I just don't have those feeling for you, I'm so sorry."

"Fuck You!" Chris screamed those two hurtful words at the top of his lounges.

He ran out of the pits before I could say anything else. I tried my best and looked what I did; I just made it worse. Maybe later we could make up, but for now I needed Will. The walk home was longer than usual. Probably because Chris wasn't there to make silly comments with me. I really needed my best friend to support me right now. All this bullshit that is happening at my first date was really ticking me off. I guess, I have to make the best of it. Look at the bright side, I have Will to myself for the WHOLE night.

When I arrived home, I quickly went in and changed into a cute outfit. I was wearing an Aeropastale shirt and a pair of Dickies khakis. I look like sucha surfer, just the way I like it. I don't know, I have this thing with surfers. They look sooo hot! Right when I was done, Will's car arrived. Suddenly, I had all these fuzzy feelings inside of me causing me to smile none stop. I looked at myself one more time in the mirror and what I saw was a normal teen. To me, I look so ugly, but Will turns everything upside down and makes me feel so special. I heard Will beeping his horn outside. 'Sigh . . . here it goes.'

Will was waiting patiently for me in his car. The night was warm and my boy was looking so cute. He gelled his hair and was wearing a leather jacket with a Banana Republic shirt and Guess jeans. When I approached his car Will had the cutest smirk on his face. "Hey lover boy."

"Hey Will." I said with a blush on my face. I sat right next to him on the passenger side. Will gave me a sweet peck on the lips. But that's not enough for me, I was hungry for him, for his lips. My tongue was exploring his mouth like crazy, feeling him with my sensitive lips and him rubbing his hands on my back. I pulled him in for more, but he had to stop me before we did anything else. With a mischievous grin he pulled out a handkerchief. "What is that for?" I asked.

"Hehe you'll see."

"Don't trying anything funny."

"Promise." He raised his hand like a cub scout.

Awwww, he is soo cute. So I just went along with his game and he wrapped it around my eyes. He drove and I sat there for awhile listening to music and talking to my sweetheart. After awhile we arrive at our destination. I got out of the car and walked to this very sandy area, still couldn't see where the hell I was going, but Will guided me. The trust I had for him was good enough and when we finally stopped, Will took the handkerchief off and I saw a magnificant view of the ocean horizon with glistening sparkly blue diamonds, as the water reflected the stars and moonlight.

The waves gave this relaxing trance around us. Will fell back on the sand and I layed on his chest. His rhythmic breathing could bring me to sleep.

"How you like my surprise?" He asked.

"I love it!" I kissed him and sighed to myself as we both layed back and enjoyed looking at the stars above us.
