Eleven

They walked to the Peabody's quarters. Ban pushed the button to open the door.

They walked in and Peabody was sitting on the sofa.

"Peabody. This is Oscar."

Peabody turned around and his eyes got big. He walked towards them and Ban was glad he made the deal with Lan.

"Hello, Oscar. How are you?" Ban handed Oscar to him.

Lan saw tears running down Peabody's face. Peabody hugged Oscar.

"How old is he?"

"Four months," Lan said.

"He isn't supposed to be prone to skin diseases."

"That's great, because the closest vet is millions of miles from here."

Oscar licked him and wiggled in his arms. Peabody sat on the floor with him.

He put Oscar on the floor, and watched him sniffed the ground. Then he turned to Peabody and nudged his hand.

"I wonder how he will like the low gravity when I walk him. Hey! Where will I walk him?"

"In the corridor outside your quarters or the cavern."

"Oh, yeah. The cavern will be good. We will need something to pick up the poop."

"We bought a lot of things."

"Let's take the stuff to the kitchen."

Lin was making Peabody a sandwich when he heard them come in. He looked at the dog. Tears were running down Peabody's face as he hugged it.

They joined him in the kitchen while Lan put the dog's food away.

"Lin, this is Oscar."

"Hello, Oscar."

"Where did you find Oscar?"

"I had a lawyer find him," Lan said.

"Do you like him?" Ban asked Peabody.

"I love him! Thank you!"

Peabody put Oscar down and he wandered around sniffing the floor. Peabody looked in the sacks and saw the leash and the plastic bags. He put water in one of the dishes and food in another. Oscar wandered over and drank some water. He sniffed the food and then ran over to Peabody. Peabody reached an arm down and rubbed Oscar's head.

"How do you feel, Peabody?" Lan asked him.

"I feel fine. When I woke up from my nap, I was fine. I guess I overdid it.

"If I walk Oscar in the cavern, I need a way to get him up and down the ladder. It would be hard to hold him and climb a ladder."

"You just need a third arm!" Lan said.

Peabody laughed. "Yes, that is exactly what I need."

"We will think of something, beautiful."

"What a wonderful surprise he is!" Peabody said.

"He is a gift from Lan and me," Ban said.

"I think I owe the two of you a very special thank you." Peabody saw Lan and Ban grin. He walked up to Lan and took his hand and shook it. "Thank you." Then he shook Ban's hand and thanked him.

"Was that special enough?" He laughed at their expressions. "I'm just kidding. I would drag you to bed, if I wasn't under doctor's orders to take it easy.

"Maybe when you feel better?" Ban asked.

"At least twice when I feel better. He's the best gift I ever received."

Peabody looked at the huge bulge in Lan's pants. He wanted it. He needed to get better quick.

"I was trying to make Peabody a sandwich, but you could do it much better, Lan.

"What would you like, Peabody?"

"I've been craving macaroni and cheese. It must be because I'm pregnant," he said, laughing.

"What would you like with it?"

"How about a pork chop?"

"OK. I'll get started on them. Would you like some chips or an appetizer? It will take a while for the macaroni and cheese."

"Do we have cookies on Mars?"

"Yes. They are made by little green Martians."

"Oh! That's better than elves!"

Lan took a package out of a cabinet. He looked at it before handing it to Peabody.

"See the happy Martians on the package?"

Peabody laughed. "Yes, they look suspiciously like elves, but I suppose it's possible elves are from Mars."

"Don't tell anyone!"

Peabody laughed. "I promise."

Something looked odd about the package to Peabody. He turned it over.

"Lan, these cookies expired nine years ago. I'm afraid to open the package."

"Oh! Wait!"

Lan looked in the cabinet and found a more recent purchase.

"Here you go. I usually check the labels. I am sorry, beautiful."

"It's OK. How often does the first dog arrive on a new planet?"

"Once?" Lin said.

Peabody laughed. "Exactly!"

"Lan, I will have Mun go through the food and discard old packages," Ban said.

"Thank you."

Peabody wondered why Mun would do it, and then remembered he was over purchasing.

Oscar was next to Peabody's legs. He bent over and picked him up. Peabody closed his eyes and hugged him.

"My love, why did you not get another dog on Earth?" Lin asked him.

Peabody sighed. "I decided to commit suicide. It wouldn't have been fair to the dog. I got the pills to do it, but I kept postponing the suicide. Then I went to Mars and I am very glad I didn't do it."

"Oh, my love. I am so sorry you suffered so much."

"Well, it worked out for the best. You need me and I need you."

"Yes."

"Ban, you are the resident genius. You need to develop a spacesuit for Oscar. Can you do it?"

"Yes, I will do it."

"It needs a place to attach the leash."

"What is the leash?"

Peabody showed it to him. "In an emergency, we don't want him running in the wrong direction."

"Yes. I understand."

"It amazes me that you can be so smart and also have such a wonderful penis." They laughed.

"I have always thought it was especially wonderful. I am very pleased you agree," Ban said. Peabody laughed again.

"Do Alaphin keep pets?" he asked them.

"Some do. It is not as common as it is with humans. I once had an aquatic animal that I caught and kept," Lin said.

"I don't suppose you have pictures."

"No, it didn't live long. I think our home was too warm."

"At some point, I would love to see what the animals and plants on your home planet looked like."

"The plants would not surprise you at all. You would just think they were a type you had never seen before. We had plants that looked like grass, small cacti, and ferns. Earth has much more diverse plant life. Some of the animals would probably look very strange to you," Lin said. "All warm-blooded animals, which would be like Earth's mammals, have five limbs. Animals similar to your fish have four eyes. We have two vestigial eyes which are non-functional. We do not have animals corresponding to reptiles, possibly because our home world is cold. The animals which correspond to Earth's insects look similar to Earth's."

"What about life native to the colony worlds?"

"None of them had life more complicated than single-celled organisms. That was one of the reasons they were chosen. We do not colonize planets with advanced life, since it would suffer from our farming and agriculture, and most especially, our climate control."

Lin watched Peabody stroke the dog. He hoped caring for the dog would not put a strain on his health. The brothers would take over the dog's care if it did. Oscar certainly made him happy.

Oscar started whining.

"I think he needs to go out?"

"Out where?"

"Somewhere he can use the bathroom."

"Can he use the bathroom in the bathroom?"

"I think he would be confused if we tried to make him go in the quarters. He might think he could do it anywhere in here."

"Ah."

Peabody put Oscar on the floor. Then he hooked the leash to his collar. He took a roll of paper towels and a plastic bag.

"Come on, Oscar."

Peabody walked to the door, with Lin and Ban following. The door opened and they walked out into the corridor. Oscar was pulling on the leash and his feet left the ground. He barked as he fell back down. He sniffed suspiciously at the ground. Then he peed.

"Good boy, Oscar!"

Peabody tore off some paper towels and dropped them on the puddle.

He realized how stupid it was to have Oscar on a leash in the corridor. There was absolutely nowhere for him to go. He couldn't climb either of the ladders. He unclipped the leash and Oscar went exploring. Periodically he ran back to Peabody who petted him. Peabody thought about getting one his toys to throw so Oscar could fetch it. He thought of Oscar running after it, crashing into a wall. Well, he could do it in his quarters with the artificial gravity. Eventually Oscar decided he had explored enough and stayed next to Peabody.

"I know, Oscar. It isn't a very interesting hallway."

"We are working on a place you can walk him," Ban said. "Better than the cavern."

"That's great! Thank you!

"Let's go back inside."

They walked back into the kitchen and sat back down at the table.

"Do you still feel all right?" Ban asked.

"Yes. I feel fine. You don't need to worry, Ban. The thing is, I haven't done much for the last few months. I went on short walks in the park across from my house, but aside from that, I didn't do much. I haven't had sex since Robert died. I just did too much, too soon. I plan to try to take a nap every day. That should help." He smiled at Ban.

"I'm so relieved, my love."

"I know. I scared everybody."

They ate together and Ban found that he loved macaroni and cheese.

"There is no meat in it at all?"

"No. Macaroni is made from wheat and eggs. The cheese is made from cow milk." Peabody told him. "It is delicious, Lan. Thank you."

"You are welcome, beautiful."

"Oscar really wants some," Ban said.

"Yes. I'm sure he does. It wouldn't be good for him, though. I think his system has had enough shocks for one day. Dogs can get diarrhea when you change their food. I wouldn't be surprised if the gravity changes do that, either."

After they ate, Ban said, "I better let the others know you are all right. I am sure they are worried."

Peabody hugged him. "Thank you, Ban. Oscar is truly the greatest gift I have ever received. I love you."

"I love you, too. I love you so much, I want to sing."

"Please sing in your room." Lan said. Peabody laughed.

Ban headed back to cavern seven. He was very, very glad Oscar was from both of them.

After Ban left, Peabody decided Oscar needed a bed. He got a blanket out of a closet. He rubbed it. It was wonderfully soft. He folded it and put in on the ground next to his bed. He picked up Oscar and put him on it.

"Down," Peabody said, testing Oscar. Oscar laid down.

"Good boy."

"Up." Oscar got up.

"Sit." Oscar sat. He hugged Oscar. "Such a good boy!" Oscar wagged his tail.

"How about a relaxing bath?" Lan suggested.

Peabody looked at Lan's erection.

"Can I sit on your lap?"

"Ask your doctor."

"Doctor, I want this handsome fellow to fuck me. And doctor, will you please fuck me?"

Lin saw Peabody was grinning at his erection. He couldn't claim he didn't want to do exactly that.

"I suppose that if you let us do all the exerting and we do it quickly, it would be all right."

They filled the Jacuzzi and got in. Peabody stood between Lan's legs. He wrapped his hand around his cock and stroked it. He leaned down and licked the head.

"I want you, Lan."

"Oh, Peabody! I love you. I want you."

Peabody took Lin's cock in his other hand and stroked it.

"Will you fuck me first, Lin?"

"Yes, my love."

Lin stood behind him and pushed slowly into him. Peabody leaned forward and swallowed Lan's cock. Lin held Peabody's hips and slowly fucked him. Lan pulled Peabody up and kissed him. Lan stroked Peabody's cock while he held his balls with his fifth hand. He cupped his cheek with another hand while he kissed him. That pushed Peabody over the edge and he came. Lin pushed hard into Peabody and barked as he ejaculated into him. Lin pulled out of him and turned him around. Lan guided Peabody onto his cock. Peabody moaned as Lan's huge cock entered him. Once he was as deep as he could go, Peabody turned his head to kiss Lan. Lan wrapped his arms tightly around him and they kissed as Lan savored the sensation of being inside his love. Lan wrapped his fifth hand around Peabody's cock and he felt it stiffen as he held it.

Just then Oscar started barking. "I'll see what he needs," Lin said and got out of the tub. He used the body dryer and left. Peabody was glad to be alone with Lan.

Once they were alone, Lan whispered, "You are everything to me, Peabody."

Peabody said softly, "If I tell you something, will you keep it to yourself?" Peabody wondered if he was wise to admit this, but they were the ones who introduced the idea of favorites. Lan was his favorite.

"Yes. I promise."

He whispered, "I love you most." Those simple words triggered the most intense orgasm Lan had ever experienced. He held his love tightly as he came.

As Lan's cock softened, Peabody said, "Oscar was your idea."

"Yes. But the gift is from both of us."

They got out of the bath. Peabody hoped Lan would keep what he told him to himself. He still loved all of them, he just loved Lan more. How could he not, he asked himself. Lan cooked for him, thought of Oscar for him, had an incredible cock and knew how to use it, came twice as often as the others, and smelled wonderful! The fact that he was also a starship pilot was just icing on the cake, as the saying went.

When they walked out of the bathroom, Lin was on the floor playing with Oscar. Peabody sat down next to him.

"I like Oscar," Lin said.

"Me, too. Let's hope he's not a chewer."

"What do you mean?"

"Some dogs like to chew furniture."

"Oscar won't do that, will you Oscar?" Oscar barked.

"I'm not sure if that is a 'yes' or a 'no'," Peabody said.

"Let's go watch a movie."

"You want popcorn, beautiful?"

"No. I'm full.

"Let me take Oscar out first. Come on, Oscar!"

Peabody took a plastic bag and a roll of towels and they went to the corridor outside his room. Oscar didn't seem to need to do anything so they went back in the room.

Peabody got Oscar's blanket. They walked to the movie room and sat down. Peabody put the blanket on his lap and put Oscar on it.

"Play The Wizard of Oz," Peabody said, picking a dog movie.

The movie started. Oscar fell asleep, so Peabody held Lan's and Lin's hands.

Peabody had seen it many times, but he enjoyed watching Lin and Lan.

"I don't like her," Lan said of Miss Gulch after she put Toto in her basket. "He looks a lot like Oscar."

"The breeds are closely related. By the way, you will like her even less, later."

"She won't harm him, will she?"

"No. Toto is way too smart for that!"

Later in the movie, the cowardly lion was swinging his tail. "That looks like a fifth hand on the end of his tail." Lin said.

"Yes, it does a little. Real lion tails don't move like that," Peabody said.

After the movie, Peabody walked Oscar again and he reluctantly pooped in the corridor.

"Good boy, Oscar! Good boy!"

Peabody was worn out, so he got undressed and ready for bed. He looked at the clock and it was only 8:40. Oh, well, he thought. If I take it easy tomorrow, maybe I can stay up until 8:45!

Lin and Lan laid on either side of him. He fell asleep quickly.
