Chapter 2

In a few weeks, Linda began to have morning sickness; and a trip to her doctor determined that she was, indeed, pregnant----she was not only pregnant, but pregnant with twins. She continued attending classes right up to the month of delivery, which came during the Christmas holidays. The babies were fraternal twin boys; one had black hair and blue eyes, and the other blond hair and green eyes. It was a very rare occurrence; and the gynecologist explained it was a case called hetero-paternal superfecundation. Linda had been impregnated by both of them in the same evening. One was Hal's son and the other Fred's.

Linda had discovered that Fred's cock was so long and thick that she could experience orgasm almost the moment he entered her fully, and certainly after only three or four deep thrusts. If she stopped him in between, she could orgasm a dozen or more times before fainting from sheer bliss. The fact that he had trouble reaching his own orgasm with her was just plain luck as far as she was concerned. She felt grateful that he could perform at all in the drunken state that was required to bed him.

She finally could explain to herself the reason she felt drawn to Fred, and began to neglect Hal, nearly always "having a headache" when he tried to make love to her.

Hal Senior's latest invention was simply the fastest microprocessor ever conceived, much less created. His usual procedure was to license rights to his inventions to the highest bidder, but after much inner turmoil; and, inasmuch as he had already accumulated the facilities to produce them, he decided to keep ownership of the patent, forming a new company to manufacture it. His former business associates were not pleased with his decision; but they had no contract to force him not to do as he chose.

Within five years, his new company was worth nearly a billion dollars, with new products constantly going into production. Soon, Hal Junior's parents moved to Malaysia, where the items were made, to facilitate his father's daily hands-on practice with the projects. Fred had convinced his father to put everything he could scrape together into stock in Hal Senior's new company, calling on his married brothers and two of his uncles; and as a result of his insistence, Fred Senior was now a multi-millionaire, even after paying off his debts. He had already made enough to buy his relatives' interest in the inherited Æstherfoord Manor; as the debts against it had made them feel that it was a liability to them. Both his brothers had married well, as had his sister; and they were living in France and Spain in other family properties that they had been able to free from lien. None of them had any interest in living in the cold climate of Scotland.

Linda was pregnant again----with twins again. The doctor informed her that the condition was called superfetation. Linda had been with Hal on the seventh day of her ovulation, and had insinuated herself into Fred's bed on the ninth day; both had scored----again----there was not even one chance in a million for the two rare pregnancies to occur to the same woman. It was a difficult pregnancy; and near the end of the second trimester, Linda experienced a TIA, or a transient ischemic attack. Her doctor recommended an abortion; but Linda would not hear of such a thing.

The first baby was born on December 19th and had to be put into an incubator. The following day Linda experienced a stroke, followed by a heart attack, and was given emergency surgery to have a pacemaker installed. She was still on life support eight days later, when the second boy was born.

Linda lived for another week, leaving four motherless boys. Hal was devastated; but in the back of his mind, he was still mindful of the neglect that he had endured for the past two years.

He was aware that the only reason these twins had been conceived in the first place was that he had arranged for Fred to join them in bed. Linda seemed to be interested in that arrangement.

After several weeks, Hal was still in shock; and Fred had automatically assumed the care of the infants, moving in with them at Hal's urgent request. Hal's mother offered to come to the States, but her husband had become quite ill and she was torn between him and the babies.
