Chapter 5

LEGAL DISCLAIMERS:

If you are under 18 or not of legal age in your country, please don't read on. If  you couldn't accept themes in the likes of homosexuality, please don't read on. This is a story concerning gay males having intimate relationships and is considered FOR ADULTS ONLY due to its sexual theme and contents. BUT if you really like this stuff, please don't tell others.

Everything in this story is purely FICTIONAL. Or it's not true!!! Even if this story involved the Backstreet Boys and a fictitious character, all that happens here is fictional... again, it's not true. I don't know anything about their sexuality, as far as the world knows, they're straight as an arrow so I dunno if they're gay (but I do have my speculations) or not but I wrote this out of freedom of speech and my love for these guys and slash fiction. I don't own or know the Backstreet Boys personally. I do know that Brian Littrell is married with Leighanne Wallace (rolls my eyes), so let's just assume that they didn't. AGAIN, it's NOT TRUE!!! but don't we all hope that it's true... hehehehe...

EMAIL ME!!! pseud0nym@edsamail.com.ph

Night seemed to be shorter than ever. The next thing I knew was the excessive ringing of the phone with the sun shining over my face. Morning at once? It seemed that it was just five minutes ago that I slept. I looked at the watch and it read 8:30AM. Still, too early. I answered the phone; if I could call what I grumbled an answer.

"Still sleeping?" A voice answered. I mumbled something but I can't even remember what it was. Mornings are really not-so-good time in the day. Waking up again and forcing yourself to be not lazy when you're feeling lazy and everything... get the drift? Anyway... "Just tell Bri to be in my room for breakfast and the briefing." He said while I just groaned and hung up the phone.

I looked at the sleeping form of Brian. Still angelic as ever. I nudged at him. No answer. I poke him at the waist. He just moved a little then... nothing again. "Bri, someone told me that you should be in his room for breakfast so wake up." I said while shaking his shoulders. Brian just swatted my hand and took the covers over his head. Stubborn. Something in common already, hate mornings. Enthusiastic yey.

I gathered all my might and just rolled him off the bed. I think that did the job and totally woke Brian up. The next thing I saw was Brian standing up with a confused look pasted on his face. "What happened?" Brian asked groggily.

"Someone needs you. Breakfast. Room. Briefing." I grumbled and tried to sleep again. I thought I could sleep some more but no... someone needs to push me off the bed as well. "Why did you that?" I asked sleepily with a little irritation in my voice. If sleep was important with them, it's a religion for me.

"I'm not marching there alone. And if I'm awake, you should be too. It's not fair." Brian said childishly. I'm off the bed, what else can I do? I walked in the comfort room after a few bumps on the way. My mind isn't working well yet. I was looking at myself at the mirror when a hand snaked around my waist and when I gazed at my reflection, Brian was there as well.

It was like a dream for me and if it is, I don't wanna wake up. Our eyes were locked and all I was seeing in those blue eyes were pure love. That's the same thing that I was feeling at that moment, pure and unconditional love. "I love you." I said out of nowhere and with no particular reason whatsoever. I just have to say it.

Brian smiled at me and squeezed me tighter. "I love you too." Brian whispered in my ear in his most seductive manner. I spun around and was not just and again I got lost in those wonderful blue eyes. They weren't reflections from the mirror anymore but the real thing. My hands wrapped around his neck and I embrace him with a passionate kiss. Tongue VS tongue.

I could live like this. It was just filled with love for me. Nothing more nothing less. Something that I really wanted. But reality has to wake me up from that little fantasy. Brian broke the kiss. "We have to go or Kevin will blow his top." He said. I pouted. I think I still have that magic in me. "Don't pout on me, mister. Work calls." Brian said to me as he kissed my pouty lips... which turned into a smile.

The door opened and Kevin let us enter the room. I scanned the room and found the other Backstreet Boys eating already. I looked for a vacant spot where we could eat together. Well, there is a lot of space, it's just a matter finding the best place; if there is such. We decided to just sit beside the bed.

We walked towards the cart and was I surprised. How on earth can they eat all of this stuff? It looked like it was for 15 persons and we're just what, 6. I placed a little amount of food on my plate and started to walk to our spot. But no, Brian has to add more of this and add more of that until my plate was almost filled with food. I glared at him. "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day." Brian just said to me. Now, how on earth will I finish all of this?

During breakfast, we just talked and talked and talked. We talked about my life, their lives, almost everything. Oh, by the way, I finished everything on my plate. Mental note, never eat with Brian. Wait, that can't be, just don't eat before eating with Brian... that's better. I think I really have to work out then coz with the rate of how I'll be eating in this tour, I'll be so fat I can't stand on my own. The fun we were having was interrupted by a knock on the door.

Kevin stood up and opened the door. There stood a man in his early 30s in a semi-formal attire. Probably one of the big ones in the tour. He looked at the boys and his gaze stopped when his eyes met mine. It wasn't like how Brian and I get lost in our gazes but it was like, what are you doing here? or you're trouble.

"Who are you?" He asked in a very cold tone. I don't like him already. That's quick.

Being the polite one and everything, I still maintained not to lose my temper and be nonchalant about everything. "It's Martin Johnson, I'm..." my voice trailed off. I looked at them trying to tell them how would I answer that simple question. Am I gonna tell him I'm Brian's boyfriend or what?

Kevin prolly sensed the discomfort I was feeling. "He's gonna work here with us. He's the guy I'm talking about." Kevin said. It appears that Kevin here doesn't like him either. His voice was just too cold.

"And why is he eating with you? If he's an 'employee', then he should be downstairs where he belongs." The guy said. I'm beginning to hate him now, but maybe it's his job so I really tried my best to hide my anger in me. And I hope I'm doing this right. Brian just tightened his grip on my hand.

"Firstly, we want him to." Brian said, also in a harsh tone. And when I looked at the other guys, it was like they wanna rip out his guts and throw it out of the window. Okay, everyone hates him. "Secondly, we could bring anyone up to breakfast and we don't need to ask any permission from you Bill." So his name is Bill. I looked at Brian and his eyes were filled with rage. I guess this has been a long issue with all of them but the most shocking part was what he said next. "And most importantly, Martin is MY boyfriend and a friend to the others as well." Brian finished.

Did he just say 'Martin is my boyfriend'? I guess he did. Uh-oh. I smell trouble already. Bill, the guy, didn't look surprise or anything but just remained in his neutral face. "Has he signed any contracts? That boyfriend of yours could go to the press and ruin everything." Bill said in a very sarcastic tone. If looks could kill, Bill would have been dead... six times over.

AJ just stood up and dragged him out of the room, literally. And before Bill could complain about what AJ did, Howie pushed the door on his face. They really love me! I feel so loved.

"Sorry about the asshole but he really does his job well." Kevin said trying to make an objective comment about the situation. I agree with the asshole thing but the doing the job well, that I have to see for myself first.

"I don't mind it. If it's just contracts and everything, I'll sign it just to clear everything up and not cause any trouble." I said optimistically. I smiled at them trying to say that everything is just okay for me, no hard feelings whatsoever.

"Actually that's SOP here but it's the tone that bothered me." Brian said as he pulled me closer to him. "No one does that to my baby." Brian cooed as he cuddled closer to me and gave me a peck.

"Please, do that in private." AJ said making gagging sounds that brought the room in fits of laughter. Well for me, I blushed and laughed with the guys.

"Okay, stop minding me and let's just talk what we must talk about." I said to them trying to change the subject. Please let them follow the lead. Please. Please.

"Well, there's nothing much to do. We have a free day." Kevin said and the others just said in unison, BUT. I guess this is ritual. Kevin just rolled his eyes. "But, we are gonna be leaving tomorrow morning at 5AM... bus." Kevin said that made everyone groan.

"Can't they move it to a later time. I need my beauty sleep you know?" Nick whined.

"If you want, talk to them." Kevin said as he handed him his phone but Nick didn't call him. He probably didn't know what to even say to the execs. I tried to stifle a laugh because of Nick's pouty face. I guess Brian was right that Nick really value his sleep.

"Why you laughing?" Nick questioned looking at me. I tried to play innocent but it was too funny so I was laughing hard already. I must be insane. The others were just looking at me quizzically. "Why don't you call them?" Nick told me as he handed the celfone to me. Nick was sporting a smug look and this is a very good time to prick that little bubble of Nick's. I shrugged and placed the call. After a few rings, a person answered.

"Good morning. I'm Martin Johnson and I'll be representing the Backstreet Boys just for this." I said on the phone formally as the others looked at me with confused looks.

"I see that you're using Kevin's phone. What can I do for you?" The man asked me. Who on earth is this?

"May I ask who is the one speaking first?" I inquired the person on the phone.

"It's Michael." Oh, his name is Michael. Okay then, back to business mode. I love this and seeing their faces filled with questions.

"Nice to hear you Michael. First of all, one of the members of the Backstreet Boys has voiced out a complaint due to the early schedule of tomorrow's departure. And the persons I am representing would want to move that to a later time." I told Michael what these lazy guys wanted. Nick was crossing his fingers. I got to stifle a laugh because of his intense concentration that's evident in his face.

"Well Mr. Johnson, it appears that the time... for a minute please." Michael said as he shuffled a few papers prolly looking for the schedule. I gestured at Kevin to hand me the schedule as well. Once Kevin handed it to, I reviewed their schedule for tomorrow and I think it was way too early. "Sorry for the wait. Well, they have to leave at 5AM because of an interview at 11. I think it's enough time for them to settle on a hotel." Michael reasoned out.

"I see but look at it this way. There's around 6 hours between 5AM and 11AM and the trip would be around 2 hours right?" I asked Michael who affirmed what I said. "If they just first went straight to the interview first before the hotel, I think it would be easier for the boys to handle and not be even late because of a certain person who you know." I chimed that immediately got a death stare from Nick.

"Oh. I see your point so what do you propose." Michael asked who seemed to be siding with me already. Good, I can sleep more. I know it was rather selfish but like I said, sleep is a religion.

"How about 9AM they leave the hotel because the traffic won't be that much by that time and I'll make sure that they won't be tardy for the interview." I suggested that got nods from the others.

"Okay then, it's settled." Michael said. Mentally, I was doing a victory dance.

"Thank you very much. And I hope to meet you soon." I said and hung up the phone. They looked at me waiting for the answer. "You'll be leaving at 9AM." I sighed and they were partying like they won the Grammy's or something. I laughed at their antics. I was actually loving every moment of it. It looks like a real family.

"I can't believe you actually got Michael to agree with you." Kevin asked in a very impressed tone. Well, what can I say?

"You just have to press the right buttons and you're in. But I think that the certain person thing did the thing." I said nonchalantly that made them all laugh. Even Nick was laughing. Brian just hugged me tighter and gave me another peck. I'm enjoying those kisses already.

"What are we gonna do?" Howie asked. Hmmm, what are we gonna do for the day?

"Mall?" I said softly that made their eyes snapped at my direction and to Nick whose eyes just bulged with delight. The others seemed to be having a 'who do you have to say that' look at me.

"Sure! I think that's the best idea ever!" Nick said that made the others groan. "Don't join then if you don't wanna go with me. Martin and I will just be the ones there then." Nick said as he stole me from Brian. Brian was pouting that made me smile.

"Now, that's the best idea ever." AJ said as he went out of the room that was followed by Howie and Kevin. This is Kevin's room but why was he leaving? What's the big fuzz with the mall thing?

"I hope you last." Brian whispered to me and gave me a goodbye kiss. Now, this was scaring me. Brian didn't want to join me. Uh-oh. This must be trouble. But what's wrong with the mall? Prolly it's the fans thing.

"C'mon! This is gonna be the best day of your life." Nick exclaimed as he dragged me out of the room and pushed me into Brian's room. "Hurry up! I'll see you after 30 minutes." Nick said as he rushed to his room.

Once I entered, Brian was lying on bed. "You gonna sleep in?" I asked. Brian just said something and hid under the covers. I guess he's gonna sleep in. I walked to the bathroom to take a bath and leave for the mall.

After 8 hours, 3 malls, and 4 restaurants, Nick and I decided to head back to the hotel. It was really fun shopping with Nick. We went into almost all stores there and almost raided it. The rental car was almost filled with bags of different bags. Wait, it wasn't almost filled, it was really filled with bags. Thank God for credit cards!

"How's life with Brian?" Nick asked as he drove through the traffic. It was 7pm then.

"It's okay I guess. I can't compare coz he's the first guy with me officially." I said with a smile but it was uncomfortable. Here I was sitting with the best friend of my boyfriend who also loves him not just in the simple friendly way but the way I love Brian.

"I still envy you." Nick said. "I still love Brian but I know that it's impossible for us to be together. Not just you're in the picture but he sees me as his little brother only." Nick added.

"I know. I sensed that already." I told him. It was actually easy to spot because if Brian didn't think of that, why on earth I'm here? Bri should have been with Nick.

"But I'm happy he's with you." Nick said with a smile. "And I'm actually getting over Brian." Nick told me which I find as good news. "I know you're very uncomfortable being with Brian when you're with me. And I thank you for doing that but I think that I should be mature enough to accept that he's with you and I'm not gonna get him ever." Nick surprised me really. I never imagined him to be this mature and profound. Well, with the bad start between the two of us, I thought he was this snotty spoiled pop star. And now, he just proved me wrong.

"I dunno what to say." I said to him. My mind wasn't working because of the overload Nick laid upon me. Is this really the real Nick Carter?

"How about thank you and I'll be your permanent gaming and shopping partner forever." Nick said with a lopsided grin. I just smiled at him and thought of the amazing friendship in store with Nick. And the shopping and gaming as well. That would be interesting.

I didn't know how we got all the bags out of the rental car with all of the chaos that was happening due to the girls screaming. I guess the bodyguards were such a big help. I'm not exaggerating that only the two of us fitted in the elevator with all of the bags, and I can't imagine when I shopped like this. It's been ages I think. Once the elevator door opened for our floor, Nick shouted for the others to help us.

Four doors opened with shocked expressions pasted on their face. Is this the first time they saw someone shop? "Are you gonna help us or you gonna stand there?" I asked while waiting for them. They snapped out of their shock and helped us clear the elevator.

"What did you do? Raid the mall?" Kevin asked while taking as much bags as he can carry.

"Actually, it was 3 malls." I said with a grin. Kevin just rolled his eyes and mumbled something. "What did you say?" I asked but Kevin just shrugged.

"He said that we have another Nick in our hands." Brian said as he gave me a kiss and took a few bags as well. Why is shopping so Nick's thing? It's just shopping, right?

"Don't mind them. We enjoyed ourselves and that's the most important thing." Nick said which I agreed upon. "Where are we gonna eat? I'm hungry." Nick whined. Eat again? Wait, I'm kinda hungry.

"Yeah, I'm hungry too." I whined as well. I guess whining is very contagious. And this group is a whiny group.

"How about we just order in so I could talk to Martin about his job as well and not get followed by these eyes." Kevin said as he pointed downstairs. It must be the fans. We all agreed with that.

Nick and I told the others our adventure for the day. I know it was boring but it was really fun seeing them look so enthusiastic and unenthusiastic at the same time. Did that make sense? Anyway, the food came in and we were still chatting like the girls outside. While eating, we weren't that loquacious and just concentrated on devouring our food.

"Martin, like I said, your job is being the assistant sound engineer for the moment then you'll be the music director for the remainder of the tour. I know that it's a big job, but I trust you enough." Kevin said with a wink, which I blushed on. I'm so blushy these days. "I'll instruct the guys in the tour to teach you the whole nine yards in what to do and what not to do in the tour so we won't have so much problem and make Brian very happy as well." Kevin said. I just nodded with what he said.

"When will I sign those papers?" I asked. I have to just bring that up so I won't get the problem again with Bill.

"Everything starts tomorrow. After the interview, we'll come with you so everything would be fine." Kevin said. Wait a minute, after the interview but tomorrow's trip goes straight to the interview. I'm gonna join them in the interview?

"Um, did you forget that you have an interview tomorrow first before the hotel? I think I'm not needed there." I questioned. Well, it was an interview for the Backstreet Boys not included Martin Johnson.

"We know but you did say that you'll make sure we'll be there to Michael and that just gave you the passport to come there as well." Kevin said with a grin. I groaned and covered my face. Tomorrow's gonna be a very long day.
