Chapter 2

When I got home on the bus after the first day of school, my mother was talking on the phone. I only caught the very end of the conversation.

"Like I said Mrs. Wilkins, Tim isn't the kind of boy who would tell someone he wants to be their friend just to hurt them." said my mom. "When he says that, he's usually serious. As a matter of fact, most of his friends are kids who don't have many other friends. Tim is normally a very kind-hearted boy."

Now she was beginning to make me blush. The funny thing is, the last time I was sixteen I didn't really know that people saw me that way. Was I trying to send signals about who I was at that age?

"Well," said my mom, "I'm glad that your son Pete is so happy right now. I promise you that Tim will do everything he can to ever keep from hurting Pete's feelings, and I'm sure that he'll be happy to hear that you approve of them being friends. Thanks for calling to talk to me about this."

"Oh my God!" I thought to myself. "She was talking to Pete's mother!"

My mom hung up the phone, and turned around to see me standing there. "I suppose you heard at least a part of the conversation I was having?" asked my mom.

"I wasn't trying to eavesdrop on you, I promise." I said.

"That's okay honey." said my mom. "I don't mind that you overheard. I was talking to Pete Wilkins' mother. Apparently you made quite an impression on Pete today at school. She was afraid that you might be trying to make friends with Pete to hurt his feelings. According to her, most of the kids at school spend their time trying to make his life miserable."

"That's because they don't realize what a nice guy he is." I replied. "I do like Pete, and I really do want to be his friend."

"That's what I told her honey." said my mom. "I just wanted to hear it from you. You're such a good hearted boy that I am proud of you at times."

"Thanks mom." I said bashfully. "I love you mom."

"I know you do honey," said my mom, "and I love you too. Now run along and play, or something."

I went ahead and wandered on outside. The dogs needed to be fed, and I thought I might as well do that without being told to like I usually was. Toby, Sparky, and Duke all saw me coming with food and began wagging their tails furiously. I hadn't seen these guys in ages, and they were all still as cool as I always remembered them.

"You guys are really happy to see me, aren't you?" I said. "Or maybe you're happy to see the food I'm carrying." As soon as I put food in their bowls, they began demolishing it. "I thought so!"

I gave all of the dogs a pat on their heads, and continued on my way. I was still kind of overwhelmed over the conversation with my mom. I couldn't remember her saying those things at that age. I knew she loved all of us, and she did say so occasionally, but for her to go on about me the way she did was rather unusual. This was starting to get pretty interesting now. The rest of the evening was fairly routine for our house, except when my mom commented that I must still not be feeling quite right because of feeding the dogs without being told to. I told her that only irresponsible little children always had to be told what to do. Hey, I might as well help my case while I can!

I woke up the next morning to my youngest brother playing his radio. Back then me and him pretty much listened to the top forty station in Okemos.

"Good morning mid Michigan!" blared the deejay. "It's Wednesday September 16th and this is Ringo Starr with You're Sixteen!"

I looked up and said, "Very funny. I like that one!" I could have sworn that I heard chuckling coming from the sky when I said that.

My younger brother and me got ready to catch the bus, then had the same good time on the way to school. When we got there, I caught the bus to go on to vocational school.

"Hey Tim!" said Dean. "What's happening?" That was quite a popular phrase back then, due to a certain television show.

"Same day, different shit." I replied.

"Don't you have that backwards Tim?" asked Dean.

"You say it your way, and I'll say it my way." I replied.

Dean laughed hard for a few minutes, then said, "You're a real trip man! That's why I like hanging out with you. So, how many times have you seen Jaws?"

"Great movie!" I replied. "I've gotten to see it twice so far."

"You gonna go for number three before it closes?" asked Dean.

"Probably." I said. "That movie is going to run forever though, quite possibly."

Dean couldn't figure out why I was laughing like a fool, so I thought I better stop. If I keep that kind of shit up, people will begin to think that I'm crazy. Dean and me continued to talk about everything he could think of, and I was remembering why I liked him. Once Dean got going, he got so carried away that it was cute.

As we were approaching the school Dean asked, "Seeing how your psychic ability is so in tune today, who do you think will win the election?"

"What election?" I asked.

"The presidential election!" exclaimed Dean. "You know, the one coming up in less than two months! You know, Ford versus Carter! Are you on something Tim?"

"Oh, that election." I replied. "I forgot, when is that exactly?"

"You are on something man!" said Dean. "I think you're having a bad trip too! It's on September 16th, of course."

"Oh yeah." I replied. "How could I have forgotten that?"

The bus pulled up at the school, so we got off and had a smoke while we continued our conversation.

"I think Jimmy Carter will win." I said.

"Carter?" asked Dean. "The peanut farmer? I think you better stick to predicting movie runs Tim. I know Ford doesn't look like he's doing a lot..."

"Except pardoning criminals." I interrupted.

"Yeah," said Dean, "except pardoning criminals. But really Tim, a peanut farmer for president?"

"I guess I may be watching Smokey and The Bandit, and The Dukes of Hazard too much." I said. "As long as I'm so far off though, you wouldn't want to make a little bet would you?"

"Ha!" exclaimed Dean. "Knowing you, you'd find a way to rig the election just to win the bet."

"Damn!" I thought to myself. "That would have been some easy money."

Today was just another normal Graphic Arts class, except today Dean was going around telling everyone how I thought a peanut farmer would become the president. I had to admit it was kind of annoying, especially since I knew how the election would come out. After the class was over, it was time for another smoke before catching the bus back to our regular school. When we got there Dean followed me to a table, then Pete walked in. Pete saw me and immediately came over.

"Do you guys mind if I sit with you?" asked Pete.

"Go right ahead my cool little friend." I replied, which made Pete smile brightly as he sat down.

"Are you crazy Tim?" asked Dean. "You know what everyone says about Pete, don't you?"

I started getting a little pissed as I said, "Listen here Dean, do I need to remind you what everyone says about you? And do I let them get away with that crap?"

"No." replied Dean, a little more subdued.

"Then I don't really care what anyone says about Pete, and I won't let them get away with that crap either!" I said in a raised voice. "I like Pete because he's a nice guy, and he's my friend now. If anyone wants to be my friend, they're going to have to get use to it!"

Dean looked at Pete shamefully and said, "I'm sorry Pete. I really didn't mean anything by it. I guess you must get awfully tired of people treating you like that. Please accept my apology."

Pete smiled at me, then looked at Dean and said, "It's okay man. I know how hard it is not to listen to the other kids. We're cool."

"Now," I said, "doesn't it feel better to be one big happy family?" This got laughs from both Dean and Pete.

"I wanted to thank you again for being my friend Tim." said Pete. "It really means a lot to me, especially since you're two grades above me. I'm just afraid that after you graduate, things will go back to how they use to be."

"I won't let that happen." I said. "I'll come back and kick their little butts if I have to."

That got a smile and a laugh from Pete. God, he has the most incredible smile! It's going to take all the willpower I have not to try to talk him into doing stuff he might not be ready for. After a really nice lunch, I made my way to the shop class from hell. This time though, when I entered the classroom both Tawny and Jason were waving at me. I laughed to myself and thought, "That would really be funny if I got those two fighting over me!"

I finished taking attendance just as the teacher came in. I really think he just didn't want to know who was in that class. Then the kids went out into the shop to work on their projects. As usual Tawny became helpless and required help at every move, and I tried to keep away from her as much as possible. Unfortunately that wasn't usually a lot.

"Hey Tawny!" yelled Jason. "There are other kids in this class besides you that might need help!"

"Oh my God!" I thought to myself. "Jason needs help? I'm coming you cute little......"

"Tim!" whined Jason. "Could you stop daydreaming and give me a hand?"

I was beside Jason instantly and would have given him much more than a hand, but I didn't want to scare the boy. Instead I asked, "What's wrong Jason?"

"I can't get these sander marks off the surface no matter how hard I try." replied the cute little dickens.

"Let me see what you have." I said, as I hoped he would misunderstand that statement.

Jason had some pretty deep sander marks on his project, and was trying to take them off with finishing sandpaper. I got Jason the proper sandpaper to use, then I put the sanding block into his sweet little hand. Finally I took ahold of his hand and showed him the proper strokes to use, although they were not the strokes I wanted to use at the moment.

"Don't forget Jason," I instructed, "when you get the sander marks off with that paper, then you can smooth the surface off with the finishing paper."

"Thanks Tim." said Jason as he looked up at me and smiled. "You're a lifesaver!"

At that time I was thinking more along the lines of a fishing pole. By the time the class was over I was wishing that I had taken a gym class, because I needed a cold shower badly. I was stiff for the rest of the afternoon, thinking about holding Jason's soft little hand. I had finally began to relax a little when it was time for the last period, and Pete. That was nice while it lasted.

"Hi Tim." said Pete. "Did you have fun with the little ones in shop today?"

I came very close to saying, "Not as much fun as I would have liked." I did get out, "Not as much fun," but then caught myself. I finished by saying, "as one might think."

Nice save!

"How was your day today Pete?" I asked.

"You're the first person besides my mom to ever ask that." replied Pete. "I'm glad that we're friends."

I smiled at Pete and said, "I'm glad we're friends too Pete."

"My day was actually nicer than it usually is for some reason." said Pete. "Not nearly as many kids picked on me."

That might have had something to do with the fact that I had a bit of a reputation at school. Not only was I an aspiring class clown, but everyone seemed to know about my short temper. The temper that was now under control. The first time I was sixteen though, it wasn't anywhere near under control. I also had a reputation for liking revenge. I don't know where they came up with that one, although it might have had something to do with the kid I put out of school with a hockey stick. At the time I felt justified because he had set my hair on fire the year before. If word was starting to get around that Pete was my friend now, people might not want to pick on him so much.

"I'm happy that you had a nice day Pete." I replied. "And I'm happy that you're happy."

Pete and me sat in class and listened to the teacher going on like he usually did. Every once in a while we would exchange glances, or make some kind of face at each other. Then at one point in the class, I dropped my pencil to the floor. Actually, it wasn't quite an accident. I was trying to bend over far enough to crush my boner back down. Then I made the mistake of looking over at Pete under the table. Damn! He had a boner too! I decided that it would be of no use to try and get my boner to go down after seeing that. After class Pete and me both held our books in front of us as we made our way to the door. Pete followed me closely out of the room, and I once again went to where no one would see us.

"Tim, how is having a friend suppose to make you feel?" asked Pete. "I've never really had a friend before, so I don't know if how I'm feeling is the way I'm suppose to feel."

"Well Pete," I replied, "having a friend is suppose to make you feel really good inside, like the world isn't quite as scary anymore. It also makes you want to see that person as much as you can, because they're not just another person anymore. Do you understand that?"

Pete smiled the biggest smile that I had ever seen on anyone before and answered, "I know exactly what you're talking about! Thanks Tim, you're the coolest friend a guy could have!"

I stood there for a few minutes and watched Pete skip off to his bus. Then, with my books still in front of me, I ran off to catch my bus while giggling like a little boy. I was starting to not miss being an adult anymore.

The rest of that first week of school went pretty much the same as the first two days. That meant that I would have to get use to leaving shop class and last period with a boner. Those damn books were going to start getting awfully heavy! Then came the weekend, Saturday and Sunday September 16th. On Saturday my mom called me in to talk to her and my dad.

"Okay Tim," said my dad, "this is what we're going to do. I work with someone who has a car that they don't drive anymore, and will trade it for one of my shotguns and yours. You don't really seem to like hunting nearly as much as the other boys, so it shouldn't be too much of a deal for you. He's up north this weekend, so I won't see him again until Monday. We can get the car for you on Tuesday, provided you can get your license on Monday. I'll take you out driving today, and you can drive your mother to the store if I think you can handle it. In the meantime you better study the driver's license manual. If we get the car on Tuesday, we expect you to keep your end of the deal. If we see one tantrum from you, you lose the car. If you don't have some kind of part time job in one month, you lose the car. And if you're not paying your driving expenses in two months, you lose the car. Do you understand?"

"Oh yes mom and dad!" I said excitedly. "I'll keep the deal I made with you. I love you both so much, thanks for trusting me again!"

"Then apparently you do understand the chance we're taking." said my dad. "Up until just recently you haven't given us a lot of reason to trust you, but your mother says there's been some kind of change. We hope it's for the better, and we hope it lasts. We were always afraid that we might see you put into some juvenile facility before you changed, especially after this past summer. Please don't let us down son."

"I promise I won't let you down." I said. "You'll see, I'll make you so proud of me someday, I promise." Then I gave both of my parents a huge hug.

The driving with my dad was interesting, to say the least. I couldn't very well tell him that I had been driving for years, after all I was only sixteen! While we were driving though, I was catching situations that he was missing. Also he said that I seemed to handle the car as though it were a part of myself.

When we got back my mom asked, "So Willard, is he driving me to the store?"

"You're probably better off with him driving than you are with yourself." replied my dad. "I've seen people who have drove for twenty years who don't drive as well as him!"

That made me feel really good. I was smiling from ear to ear when my mom turned to look at me. Then my mom smiled back at me as well.

"I've always said that you're the most surprising child we ever had." said my mom.

"Is that a good thing, or a bad thing?" I asked as I chuckled.

My mom gave me a hug in reply. Then we were off to the store in Jackson. There were stores closer, but my mom loved shopping at the huge store in Jackson. They had everything there, as it was one of those department store/supermarket combinations. On the way there my mom told me that it was actually more relaxing with me driving, than when she drove herself.

As my mom started the shopping I told her that I had to use the restroom. I walked back to the restroom and went up to one of the urinals. I was followed closely by a man who appeared to be about my actual age, who stepped up to the urinal next to me. Then I noticed that he was watching me pee, so I took a step back to give him a better view. As I finished peeing the man looked around to make sure there was no one else in the restroom.

"Can I?" asked the man.

The first time I was sixteen this type of advance by an adult would have scared me off, but now I was aware of what the reward might be like. "Sure." I replied. "Go ahead."

The man took my sixteen year old cock into his hand, and gently stroked it a few times. This made it as hard as a rock. The man got a look in his eyes that told me what he wanted next.

"Come over here you cute boy." said the man. "I promise I won't hurt you. As a matter of fact, I want to do something that will make you feel really good."

I followed the man to the stall on the end. He put the lid down, and asked me to kneel on the lid. Then he followed me in and locked the stall door. When the man put his mouth around my cock, it felt so good that I almost cried out. I did manage not to make any noise though as the man sucked my cock. I couldn't remember a blow job feeling this good in quite a long time, as the man expertly teased me to an orgasm with his lips. It was a good thing I was kneeling when I began to cum in his mouth, because my legs probably would have failed me. When I finally stopped cumming the man pulled off my cock and looked at me. He could immediately tell how much I enjoyed what he had done.

"That's what I like to see," whispered the man, "a happy boy. You tasted very sweet, you little cutie. Now, run off and rejoin your mother before she starts getting worried. If I ever see you again, it would be a pleasure to suck your boydick for you again."

As soon as I had composed myself enough, I left the man in the stall to take care of himself. Then I went off to find my mom. Ironically, she was in the meat department looking at hot dogs. That almost cracked me up.

"You sure took long enough honey." said my mom.

"Yeah." I replied. "I had to poop really bad. I think they had to close the restroom when I was finished."

"That's pretty disgusting honey." said my mom. "I really didn't need to know quite that much."

My mother finished her shopping, then we started for home. This had definitely been one of the best trips to the store ever, and the driving part wasn't bad either. Now, with my mom and dad's blessing, I was ready to take the test for my driver's license on Monday September 16th. But first there was Sunday, and my friend Adam to deal with.

Hope that was a fun trip for everyone. Please send all comments to: Timthestoryguy10@cs.com or timthestoryguy@hotmail.com . Please remember that the cs address is preferred for now. See you again in Chapter 3.
