"The Housekeeper" part 16

From the end of Chapter 15.....

"Peter there is something you should know" I said, "You and James work for the company but Kevin works for me as my housekeeper and driver, that is why you see him in the office. But, once the working day is over he is my partner, we are gay, Does that upset you?".............

...to continue...

Peter was silent for a moment, just staring at the carpet then said, "No, I'm not upset, just very surprised"

"If you want to leave we will understand" I told him. "No, I want to stay if that is alright with you" he answered.

Just then Kevin announced that the meal was ready. I waited until we were seated at the table and the food was in front of us before I took up the conversation again.

"It must be a bit of a shock to discover that your employer is homosexual and you are in his house" I said.

"It has been a bit of a shock but as I said, I'm not upset. In fact you may be the answer to my prayers, I think I may be gay" Peter replied.

"You only think you may be gay" said Kevin. "That is rather unusual for a guy of your age"

"What makes you think you may be gay, and how long have you been thinking this?" I asked.

"I suppose it started when I was about fourteen; I kept looking at other boys in the changing room at school. At first it was just comparing sizes, but then if I saw a nice cock I started to wonder what it would be like to touch it" Peter told us.

"I think almost any boy goes through that phase, I know I did" said Kevin. "I know, I kept telling myself it was just a phase I was going through and I should find a girlfriend. I had been brought up with very set ideas and being queer just wasn't an option" said Peter.

He paused as he continued with his meal then continued. "I tried putting it out of my mind but with little success; over the last few years I have been out with several girls but they just didn't do anything for me. They were all right as friends but I just didn't have the urge to get any closer, needless to say each one in turn dropped me"

"I can understand your distress" I said, "Do you still have this interest in men?" By this time he had finished his food and was aimlessly twisting his serviette.

"Oh yes, I hope you won't be offended but I find James in the office very attractive, and to a slightly lesser extent you two as well" he replied.

"Oh thank you" said Kevin, "It's nice to know we take second place to James, but I don't think you will get very far with him, he is........."

I interrupted Kevin as I felt he might let the cat out of the bag... "Well I think the best thing we can do with you is find you a possible boyfriend; would you like to visit our local pub for a couple of drinks, it is gay friendly, then you might have a better idea of whether you really like guys"

"I'm not sure if I can do something like that" Peter answered. "We aren't asking you to go out and make love to some guy" said Kevin. "This is our local pub which just happens to be a gay one; if you aren't comfortable there we can come home again"

We quickly cleared the dishes and then Peter picked up his tie and jacket, "You won't need those otherwise you will stand out like a sore thumb, just a second and we will lend you a sweatshirt" said Kevin.

Just as we arrived at the 'London Hotel' I turned to Peter and said, "Look, we will order the first drink and if you don't like the place we will leave, OK?"

As we walked up to the bar Peter was clearly nervous but visibly relaxed when the barman greeted us by name and said "Usual for you two, what's your friend's poison" I looked at Peter and he said, "Bitter please"

When we had our drinks we retreated to a table. I purposely chose one that had a view of the whole bar and I made sure Peter sat where he could see everyone.

"Most of the guys in here are either gay or bi" said Kevin, "we have got to know quite a number of them - is there anyone you fancy?"

Peter didn't answer straight away; his eyes were flickering around taking in everything he could see.

"How do you know which ones are gay and which ones aren't" he asked. "Once you know a few gay guys there are small things which you notice" I said, "There is no hard and fast rule, You didn't recognise Kevin and I as being gay, pick out somebody you like and we will try to discover whether he is or isn't"

In the course of the next hour Peter chose several guys that he liked, several we knew were gay, others we weren't sure about so we offered an opinion.

"Are you doing anything special on Saturday evening" I asked. "No, not really" he replied.

"Why not come and eat with us and then we can come here again, there are a lot more people here on Saturdays" said Kevin, "Then if you fancy it we could go dancing"

"I can't dance, I have two left feet, just ask any of the girls I have been out with" Peter replied with a laugh.

"You won't be dancing with girls, you will be dancing with us and we both have two left feet" I told him

"Dancing with men" said Peter with a rather shocked look. "That is what gay men do, dance with other men, sleep with other men, make love to other men" said Kevin.

"I'm not sure about this, things are moving to fast" said Peter. "Things don't have to move any faster than you want" I said, "We are just inviting you to discover whether you are really gay, neither of us, or our friends will ever force you to do anything you don't like"

"Can I just think about it; I have enjoyed this evening but I think I ought to be getting home" Peter responded.

"Did you come in your car?" I asked Our guest nodded.

"Well I don't advise driving, you drank about half a bottle of wine at home and now you have had three beers, I think you better stay with us for the night." I said.

"Oh, I couldn't do that, perhaps I could get a cab" he replied. "Don't be silly, we have two spare bedrooms you are welcome to stay" said Kevin.

After a pause Peter accepted, then said, "I better phone home just to let them know I won't be back"

By this time we were back home so I pointed to the phone. Peter dialled then we heard one side of the conversation with his Father.

"I am staying overnight Dad, I have had a few drinks and I don't want to risk driving and being breathalysed"................

"No that isn't necessary, if you pick me up I will still need to come back tomorrow to collect my car"................

"Mr. Thomas has two spare rooms so it's not inconvenient, I will see you after work tomorrow. Good Night"..........

Peter replaced the phone and said, "As you can guess my parents are very over the top, you would think I was thirteen, not twenty three, tomorrow I will get the third degree and they will want your life history, I'm sorry."

"There is no need to apologise, some parents are like that, Kevin and I are very fortunate that our folks are so understanding" I said.

"You mean your parents know about you?" asked Peter. "Oh yes, Dad knows Richard is my boyfriend and his folks know we are together, they often stay here" said Kevin.

"I can't even imagine that happening with me" he replied. We returned to our discussion about Saturday and also weighed the merits or not of the various guys we had seen in the pub and I noticed Peter was showing a distinct bulge in the front

Kevin showed Peter to the guest room while I turned out the lights and I met them at the bedroom door.

"Did you ever kiss the girls you went out with, you know, a proper kiss not just a quick peck?" asked Kevin.

"Well........not what you would call a kiss" Peter answered. Kevin moved in close and planted his lips on our guest, at first just a quick one but then went in deep. When they parted Peter was very flushed. "Thanks" he whispered.

"Do I get a goodnight kiss?" I asked and without waiting for an answer pulled him into my arms. He returned my kiss pretty well for a novice, but then his body suddenly went rigid and he pushed me away, said "Goodnight" and closed the door.

Kevin looked at me and raised his eyebrows, nothing was said and we went to our own room.

Once the door was closed Kevin said, "What happened there, I thought he was getting relaxed and liked the kiss?"

"Well, I'm not sure but maybe he was enjoying it too much, I think he made a mess of his underwear" I said.

Kevin grinned but then said, "Oh dear, the poor bugger, I feel so sorry for him. Twenty three years old and never had sex and then he cums in his pants while kissing his boss, he must be so embarrassed"

"Yes I agree, we need to treat him with kid gloves in the morning" As it happened I didn't see him until I was in the office. Kevin brought me a cup of tea in bed and told me that Peter was gone. "The bed has been slept in but there is no sign of him, not even a note"

"Perhaps he woke early and has gone home to change" I said, but I had my doubts, I felt there was more to it.

That was borne out when I got to the office, Peter wasn't there. About an hour later James brought me a letter, it was a resignation letter from Peter.

"Is he still here" I asked. "Yes but he doesn't look too good, didn't he have dinner with you last night?"

"Yes, I will explain later, would you ask him to come in?" I said. Peter came in but wouldn't look at me and looked as if he hadn't slept; I asked him to sit down then held up his letter.

"Why?" I asked. "After last night I'm sure you don't want me working here any longer" he answered.

"I think I'm the best person to decide who should work here, and I can't recall anything that happened last night which calls for your resignation" I told him.

He didn't reply so I said. "Peter will you answer me something truthfully" he nodded.

"Did you enjoy kissing Kevin and me last night?" He nodded again.

"Did you cum in your pants while you were kissing me?" Peter didn't answer but turned the colour of an over ripe tomato while staring at the carpet.

"You may not realise it but you paid me a very great compliment" I said. He raised his head and looked at me with a puzzled expression

"You were enjoying the kiss so much that I caused you to reach a sexual climax, unfortunately your dick was still in your pants, that is certainly nothing to be ashamed of, we all do it" I told him.

"You do, I thought you would be disgusted" "No, not at all, I've done it a number of times, the first time I kissed Kevin I had to excuse myself and go and change my boxers, he doesn't know that by the way."

"Stay there while I have a quick word with James and get us some coffee" As I poured the coffee I said to James, "Peter is gay but is still a virgin, he came in his pants last night as I kissed him and wants to resign, can I out you?"

"Yes of course, I bet he is so embarrassed, would you like me to come in?" We both returned to my office, Peter looked rather nervous with James there. "Peter, I want to tell you that I am gay as well, I have a boyfriend" said James.

"You as well?" said Peter in amazement, "I can't believe this, four of us work together and we are all gay"

"Do you realise what you have just said" I asked Peter He looked at me with a puzzled expression as if trying to recall the conversation.

"You have just said 'we are all gay' does that mean you are admitting that you are gay" I said. Peter paused for a moment then said, "I suppose I am, there doesn't seem much point in denying it any longer"

"Welcome to the club" said James and pulled Peter into a kiss. "Hey slow down, we don't want any more accidents, he hasn't got any spare boxers with him" I said.

James and I laughed as Peter blushed but then he laughed with us. "I think it's about time we did some work don't you" I said.

As they were leaving my office I held up his letter as I said "Peter?" He pointed towards the waste bin.

To be continued. If you are enjoying the story please tell me, if not, tell me why. Those of you leading happy lives with partners please spare a thought for all lonely people. Another thought, "If you can't say something nice about a person don't say anything at all" Did you know they are going to put a clock in the leaning tower of Pisa, what's the good of having the inclination if you haven't got the time. Boom boom!! All the best and Happy Reading..........Tony
