Chapter 181

"Blake, this is going to be incredibly emotional. Today we need you to really be a man and do your best to stay strong. You know who John is, but he will have no memory of you. At least not at the moment," Colin warned him.

"I'll try Dad. What if I say something wrong?"

"You won't. Just be yourself."

"What if I mention something about how it used to be between us?"

"That's okay. You're allowed to talk about being brothers. Just don't bombard him with tons of information. Maybe let one or two things slip out and see how he responds. He may not show interest, or he may want to know more. Let him guide some of your time together," I offered.

"Okay, but this is kinda going to be brutal isn't it? All I can think about is giving him a hug and never letting him go again. Would you be disappointed in me if I end up crying at some point?"

"Of course not. I don't see how you could avoid it. If it gets overwhelming, just excuse yourself to take a break, and leave the room. You want him to feel that being around you is a good thing, not something sad. Once we get home, you can let your guard down. We'll be here to hug you for as long as you need."

"That could be a while. I'm a hugger."

"Yes. Yes, you are," Colin laughed gently as we gave him a hug to prove it.

"Guys," he said in a muffled voice. "Guys! You're crushing me." We let him go and he took a deep breath. "Thanks. I needed that."

We got to the Ministry office and made our way to the meeting room. We paused outside as Blake stopped and wiped his hands on his pants. "God, I'm nervous. My hands feel like they're attached to a garden hose. Even my balls are sweating."

"Overshare. You'll be fine," I said handing him a tissue to dry them with. His hands, not his balls. Oh my god! I just did a Mom move, pulling out a tissue. Next thing I'll be licking my fingers to wipe a smudge off his face. "Just be yourself. Well the G-rated version of yourself."

"I'm kinda freaking out Dads. On the other side of that door is my brother who was supposed to have died. Now he's here and I get to see him again. Do you know how many times I wished for this? God really is real, isn't he?"

My brain's initial reaction was to slap him across the face several times and tell him to snap out of it and focus, but I'm getting good at this psychology stuff now, so I was more professional. "He's as real as you need him to be, buddy. Right now, just summon all your strength, wisdom and maturity, and we'll get through this. The first few minutes will be the toughest. After that it should get easier. Just remember. He doesn't know who you are, except what he's been told."

He took a deep breath and exhaled. "Okay, I'm ready. I feel like I'm gonna pee myself or throw-up."

"Maybe don't do either of those if you're trying to make a good impression," Colin joked as we opened the door. The Campbells were already there. We were greeted by Colleen who showed us to the couch opposite the Campbells. As soon as Blake saw John, he took hold of my hand and squeezed. I looked at him and the emotion on his face was almost overwhelming. If there was ever a time he needed a parent, it was now. I squeezed back to let him know I was there for him.

"Thank you all for being here. We know this is a big moment for everyone. Especially Blake and Jimmy," Colleen said as she welcomed us. "I guess introductions are in order. Charles and Vanessa, you already know Colin and Justin. This young man is their son, Blake. Blake, this is Mr. & Mrs. Campbell. They are Jimmy's foster parents."

"Nice to meet you," Blake said as strongly as his quavering voice would allow.

"Nice to meet you as well, Blake. We've heard a lot about you," Charles smiled.

"Oh? Then I guess it's a good thing I'm here in person to defend myself," he said with humour. I have a feeling it was his way of coping with the situation. He may have been speaking to Charles and Vanessa, but his eyes never left John.

Charles smiled. "I can assure you, we heard nothing but good things."

Colleen continued. "Justin, Colin and Blake. This young man here is Jimmy. He knows his real name is John now, but would prefer to still be called Jimmy as that's all he remembers."

"We understand," Colin replied. "Hi Jimmy. I'm Colin and this is Justin. And this is Blake...your brother."

Jimmy stared at me as if he was trying to send me a telepathic message, before he replied. "Hi," he said shyly. This was certainly out of character for the kid I'd gotten to know already. He clearly understood the gravity of the situation. He stood up and moved in front of Blake, who appeared to be having an emotional meltdown on the inside, but holding it together on the outside as he wiped his hands on his pants again. "Are you really my brother?" He asked.

"I really am," Blake said as his voice cracked. He wiped his eyes, trying to control the overwhelming emotion he must be feeling. "I can't believe it's really you. You're way bigger than the last time I saw you. You were just a little kid then."

Jimmy stared at Blake and then reached up to touch his face. "We have kinda the same eyes. Mine are a darker green with some brown in them, and yours are all green."

Blake smiled. "Yeah, you used to point that out all the time when you were younger. You poked me in the eye a lot when you checked them out. You kept hoping either mine would get darker, or yours would get lighter so we could be twins," Blake revealed to him as they made their first connection.

"Layne's eyes are blue. He's my other brother. He's not here today, but I think you get to meet him another day."

I hadn't realized I was holding my breath until I let it out. I half expected Jimmy to run up and hug me and say something like `when are you gonna come over and play naked games with me and Uncle Steve again?' But so far he appeared to be going along with our ruse to pretend he didn't know me.

"Has Layne been a good big brother?" Blake asked. I couldn't tell if he was just making conversation, or getting information on Layne.

"He's the best. He makes sure I'm okay all the time. He lets me join in and play with him and his friends, which is pretty neat."

"That's good. They said you lost your memory so you don't remember anything," Blake said bluntly, and you could see some of the others tense up slightly.

"Yeah. I remember when I moved in with my foster family, but I don't remember before that. I guess I don't know what I don't know."

Blake smiled weakly. "That actually made sense. I hope you get it back so you can remember me and all the things we did together when you were a little kid."

"Yeah. I'd like that. Did you like me when I was your brother?"

Blake now wasn't the only one trying to hold the emotions in. I could feel the snot about to happen as both my eyes and nose were preparing to run. If I'd worn mascara, I'd be a mess in a couple of minutes. Blake wiped his eyes and stared at Jimmy. I could tell he wanted to pull him in and hug him, but you could see him fighting the urge to overwhelm his little brother. "I not only liked you. I loved you. You were my best friend," Blake said as positively as he could. "Can I give you a hug?" Blake asked Jimmy, then looked at us. "Is that okay?"

Jimmy took his cue from Blake and looked at the Campbells for permission. Everyone signaled their approval in one form or another. Blake wrapped his arms around his little brother and pulled him in tight. Jimmy returned the hug and seemed to wait patiently until Blake was done. As Blake stepped back, he had tears running down his face, but quickly wiped them away.

"I'm glad you liked me as your brother," Jimmy said quietly. "Layne is my best friend, so I kinda know what you mean. We do tons of stuff together. Did we do stuff?"

"Everyday. I taught you to swim and you liked going to the beach a lot. You also loved following me when I went bike riding. You were a little daredevil."

"I think I might still be," he admitted with a smile. "Wanna play Lego for a bit? They have some here."

Blake looked at us, and Colleen assured him that it was fine. The boys moved over to the side of the meeting room and began to create some Lego project. "Looks like it's going well so far," Colleen said to all of us. "No magic lightbulb to jog his memory, but we didn't expect that. We're hopeful that the more the boys get together, the more Jimmy will connect with Blake, hopefully releasing some memories as they talk."

"How often are you thinking of having these meetings?" Vanessa asked, obviously a little less than thrilled to be here. "We have busy lives, and it'll be hard to make the time to get together like this."

"We want the boys to interact as much as possible. It's important for both of them. For Jimmy, to help regain his memories by having something from his past that he's currently forgotten, and for Blake to reconnect with a brother he thought he lost. We can arrange times convenient for everyone. We don't need all parents for each meeting, in fact there will be times where it'll be best for it just to be the two boys."

"What about involving Layne? He has a stake in this too," she inquired.

"For now, we'll just leave the meetings between the two biological siblings. Once we see some progress there, we can introduce Layne, but not until Blake and Jimmy have some sort of bond as brothers again."

"Will all the meetings be here?" Colin asked.

"No. I think this is too sterile an environment. It's fine for official meetings like this one, but in the future we should plan to get the boys together at each of your houses, and perhaps an outing like an amusement park or sporting event. Something they may both enjoy together."

"We'd like to request that we be present if Jimmy is over at their home," Charles said, speaking up. I guess his wife lets him wear the pants once in a while.

"We have no problem with that. Everyone is welcome," I said smiling politely behind bared teeth and clench fists.

They let the boys play together for another half hour before it was time to go. Jimmy gave Blake another hug and then waved goodbye to him as they left. Blake almost collapsed from the emotion of it all and quickly wrapped his arms around Colin and I for support. "That was so hard, Dads. I just wanted to take him home with us and never let him out of my sight ever again. I can't believe he was really here. He's so much older than I remember. I missed three years of him growing up." He couldn't help but let tears run down his face, and with Jimmy not there, he wasn't in a hurry to hide his emotions. I think it's a good thing for him to just let them out.

"Now that you've found him, you won't miss any more of his life, and he won't miss any of yours," Colin assured him.

"Was Jimmy a lot different than you remember, Blake?" Colleen asked quietly.

"A little, sure. He still looks like he used to, just taller and older. It's good that he had someone like Layne to look up to and help him. That's what I used to do for him. It just really sucks that he can't remember me or the stuff we used to do together. Will he ever get those memories back?"

"The belief with amnesia is that it's the body's way of supressing a tragic event to help you cope. We're hopeful that in time, and with plenty of patience, John may slowly come out of it when he realizes you're there with the support from his past life. It won't just all pop back in his head like turning on a light switch. He'll remember little pieces of things, almost like he dreamt it. If you hear anything like that, point it out to him and let him know it's a real memory. That'll help his mind begin the adjustment to overcome the trauma."

"I'll try," Blake acknowledged. "I just hope it all comes back, so he remembers me and all the fun stuff we did."

We thanked Colleen and headed home. Blake was unusually silent for the drive back and we didn't push him to talk. When we got home, he raced straight up to his room.

"Should we go talk to him?" I asked Colin. Technically he should have asked me, since I'm the professional advice giver in the family. I'm just good at everything, but I wanted Colin to feel important. Yeah, let's go with that...

"Let's give him a while to process it all. This was an event that would even take all an adult's strength to cope with. I thought he did great. My heart went out to him when I saw the emotion build up. I wanted to go over and hug both of them when I saw Blake cry while they were hugging. A short while later, Colin and I went upstairs with a cup of hot chocolate and a bowl of ice cream. We figured Blake may want some comfort food by now. We found him face down on the bed asleep, obviously having been crying. His phone was beside him and sounded off with a text while we were there. I picked it up and looked. I'm a parent, I'm allowed to know what my kid is up to in case he's into something I wouldn't approve of, like...ummm...like stuff that kids get into that parent's wouldn't approve of kinda stuff. That stuff.

I showed the phone to Colin. It was a text from Layne. The two boys had been talking about the first visit. Colin motioned me to leave the room with him. I put the phone back and we headed downstairs. I ate the ice cream and Colin got the hot chocolate.

"We should get the boys to stop texting each other. If the Campbells are monitoring Layne's phone, like I'm sure they could be, we'll be adding another big issue to this mess."

"Agreed," I mumbled through the face full of ice cream. "We'll talk to him as soon as he wakes up. Maybe we should have Layne come over so we can talk to the boys together about how to be careful. Last thing we need is Layne being followed here. The Campbells will think we're trying to recruit Layne into our `gay cult'."

"From what you've told me, the Campbells should follow him to the uncle's house. Sounds like more of a cult than anything we could come up with," Colin replied.

"Says the guy who owns the worldwide Q Society," I laughed. "We should make Layne a member. Let's see the parents' reaction when he goes home with a tattoo on the bottom of his right toe."

"Considering how involved he is with his uncle's parties, I'm guessing he'd like the `Q'. You should submit his name once this whole adoption thing with John is settled."

"Done!" I grinned. "I hope this process isn't long and drawn out, for Blake's sake. I know this will be really hard on John, Jimmy, whatever we're calling him, but maybe the band-aid approach is the way to go. The longer he stays with the Campbells, now that they know about us, the worst they could make the transition."

"I'm sure it'll be tough on everyone, but they know the right thing. I have confidence they'll do what's best for John in the long run."

I shook my head. "Colin, that's why I love you. You have unwavering confidence in the goodness of people, but I'm a psychologist. I've seen the dark side of humanity. The inner soles of people and their torment between good and evil."

"Baby, you see straight boys and try to get them into bed. The only dark side you've experienced is when they turn you down. You're hardly Dr. Phil."

"Dr Phil is hardly Dr. Phil. That guy doesn't even have a license. He's just another TV reality person with delusions of grandeur." I replied, showing I wasn't a fan. "But come lie down and tell me how you feel about that."

"If I lie down, you'll jump me, and I doubt there will be a lot of talking."

"Moaning and grunting is talking...just ask the cavemen," I reasoned. "Actually, I don't really think I could have sex now if I wanted. I'm emotionally compromised."

"Seriously...lay off the reruns of the Star Trek movies," he laughed, "or I'm assuming command."

"Oh yeah, baby. Command me. Send me to the brig for punishment and torture."

"And here I thought you weren't horny," he laughed as we cuddled together on the couch listening to some music. This was a draining day. I hope the other meetings aren't this overwhelming.

When Blake finally resurfaced, he made himself comfortable between us. "Sorry. I guess I fell asleep."

"It's okay. You probably needed it. We saw you napping when we came up to make sure you were okay. Your phone was going off and I couldn't help but notice you had been texting with Layne," I revealed. Kids on teen shows on TV usually go off on their parents about invasion of privacy, their rights, and other such nonsense. Blake just nodded.

"Yeah, he wanted to know how it went so I told him how hard it was. He said he'd tell me how John felt about it as soon as he got to talk to him. I also told him how difficult it was having to call him Jimmy instead of John. Do you think he'll always want to be called that?"

"I dunno, but for now, just do your best to go with it. There's nothing wrong with slipping in John a few times, just so he gets used to the fact he has another name, but don't overdo it."

"I got it. By accident once in a while, right?" He nodded.

"Right. Now to the other issue. As much as we need to distance ourselves from the Campbells right now, we think you should invite Layne over so we can talk to both of you. But it's important for the two of you to be careful. A lot of parents monitor their kid's texts and phone activity. The Campbells seem the type to do that."

"Yeah, they do," Blake grinned. "Don't worry though, we text through an app that his parents don't know about. He only sends parent friendly texts through the one they monitor. All his gay stuff is on other locked apps. Even his pictures are hidden in a vault app."

"Are yours?"

"Why? You guys don't get enough of me? You want to see what's on my phone? I think it's probably boring compared to me in person, but you can look at anything. Most of the interesting stuff is in my pictures folder marked. `Hot'. That's mostly cute boys, and some girls."

"Any nude ones?" I asked concerned that he might have pics of his friends or conquests on there.

"Sure. But don't worry, they're all over 18, or at least if they're not, you can't see their face," he beamed. "I remembered what you said, and actually listened."

"There's a first," Colin grinned as he gave him a hug.

"I show you mine if you show me yours," Blake giggled as he handed his phone over.

I didn't take it as I know he's the first to show me things. Even things that would make the most liberal parents cringe.

The second visit with Jimmy happened the following Saturday, and Blake was just as nervous as the first visit. He changed no less than five times asking what we though of each outfit. I wasn't sure if we were going to meet his brother, or join a fashion show runway. We had decided to meet somewhere neutral, and at Blake's suggestion based on what his brother liked when he was younger, social services arranged for all of us to go to the zoo. Colleen was there, along with one of her associates, introduced to us as Jill. The Campbells had brought along a posse, including not only Jimmy, but their minister and a guy we assume was a lawyer, or a mob boss, I wasn't sure at first. It wasn't exactly a welcoming sight. And for the record, who the fuck goes to a zoo in a suit and tie. That's as dumb as the secret' service announcing who they are. It's right there in the name SECRET'. We had Colin, myself and Blake. We didn't bring along a lawyer, a minister, or any of the other Village People, although we were at the zoo, so we might round up a cowboy if it was deemed necessary. That was not the point of this meeting.

"Hi Blake," Jimmy said politely, then smiled at me and waved. I waved back.

"Hi," Blake said to his little brother, doing his best to remain strong. They gave each other a hug, which looked a little more natural than the first time they'd hugged. "I'm glad we're at the zoo. It was always your favorite place when we were kids. Do you have any favorite animals you'd like to see?"

Jimmy just shrugged.

"Wanna go see the hippopotamuses, John?" Blake asked, which seemed random.

"Okay," Jimmy smiled. "Uhhh, it's Jimmy."

"What?"

"My name is Jimmy. You called me John," he said kicking his foot in the ground nervously.

"Sorry. I'm still trying to get used to it. I'll try to remember," Blake said quickly, staring at Colin and me. You could almost see the pain in his heart.

"It's okay," Jimmy assured him.

"You used to call them hippy mooses when you were little. They were your favorite because of how big their mouths were."

"Hippy mooses," Jimmy laughed. "That's funny."

The boys ran off ahead with Jill picking up her pace to stay closer to them, no doubt to make sure they didn't get into any trouble. I'll be sure to slip her some hazard pay for having Blake along. "At least it looks like the boys are getting along," Colleen smiled as we walked along behind at a slower pace. When we arrived, they were already half climbing on the fence to get a closer look. The adults all sat down at a nearby picnic table.

"We agreed to this additional meeting at the recommendation of our lawyer, but just so there is no misunderstanding, we have no intention of allowing this situation to continue," Mr. Campbell said quickly.

"I'm sorry. Is one of you allergic to animals?" I asked.

"No, the situation with the boys," Charles clarified.

"Which situation are you referring to? The boys being here at the zoo?" Colin asked. "They seem to be enjoying themselves."

The unknown man with them spoke up. "We are here to let you know that we won't be allowing Jimmy to continue with these meetings with your family."

"And who are you? I don't believe we've had the pleasure of being introduced," Colin said focusing his attention on the man.

"I'm Harold Grayler. I'm the Campbell's attorney."

"Interesting. I'm Colin Worthington and this is my husband Justin. As you may not be aware, while Blake is now legally our son, he is by blood, Justin's cousin. That also makes Jimmy a blood relative."

The attorney looked at the Campbells, obviously surprised by this revelation, but he quickly recovered and continued. "Nonetheless, we will be insisting from this point on, while details are worked out, that your family have no further contact with the Campbells."

I was just about to tell them that wasn't an option, but Colin was already two steps ahead of me. "If that's what you prefer, we can abide by that," Colin said. "Just make sure that Jimmy is delivered to social services for the visits, and we'll ensure he gets returned there."

"I'm sorry Mr. Worthington, perhaps I didn't make myself clear. That no contact, would include Jimmy."

"No, it wouldn't," Colin said without missing a beat. "He's not a Campbell, and is in fact just placed there temporarily as a foster child. So perhaps I haven't made myself clear. We will be insisting that Blake and Jimmy continue their interactions, not only because Jimmy is Blake's biological brother, but because we also believe their being together may help Jimmy recover his memories."

"Colin is right," Colleen interjected. "The decision isn't yours to dictate. You are certainly welcome to be here to support the Campbells, but in the end, the ministry decides what is best for the child."

"The church also has an objection to this placement," the minister said.

"You object to Jimmy being reunited with his brother, and placed with actual relatives?" Colin asked frowning slightly, even though we both knew what he meant.

"No. We disagree that he should be uprooted from a stable family that has cared for him for three years and seen to his spiritual needs. The only one he remembers."

"Are you implying that we're not stable, or couldn't provide for him?" I asked curiously.

"Not at all. We are just concerned that your lifestyle would not give Jimmy the same spiritual guidance."

"I'm curious how you came to that conclusion, Reverend?" Colin inquired.

"Well, I certainly don't wish to offend anyone, but with the two of you married, it is a clear violation of the teachings of the church."

And we're off...

"Of your church perhaps," Colin said calmly. I think he was steering this so I wouldn't run to the car to get my weapon. Which in Canada is a hockey stick to beat him with, in case you were confused. A good slapshot to the forehead cures a lot of stupid. "But there are over 4000 religions in the world. All varying in scope and beliefs. Limiting ourselves to only one would be extremely narrow minded."

"We are talking specifically about Christianity," he said quickly.

"Even with Christianity, most denominations in the western, and civilized, world accept same sex partnerships. Are you saying your church follows the minority and hasn't evolved with society? Many teachings of the bible have transformed over the centuries. I'm sure you don't stone people to death for working on the sabbath, or sell children into slavery, or do you? But we're not here to debate religion. How a family chooses to teach religion, or not teach religion, isn't relative to this situation. We may teach our children to believe one thing, but as they get older, they form their own belief and opinions. Not that we'd let you interfere with Blake's upbringing, but ask him why he thinks he's been reunited with John. I'm sure the answer would provide you with enough information to know that Blake has his own spiritual beliefs."

"I can accept that, but is teaching homosexuality the best education for a child trying to form his own personality?" He said looking at us. I half expected him to stand up, throw his arms in the air and shout like we were at a national voodoo church thing. `Let the Lord strike down all the heathens who refuse to follow his word. Cast out the sin and follow the path of righteousness.'

Big lightning bolt comes down, strikes him dead. Shouldn't have worn that multi fabric outfit today I guess.

"I think we have a different definition of teaching. A child exposed to various religions, various lifestyles, even various music or sports, would never be a bad thing. It would teach tolerance, understanding and kindness. To show them only one of anything, would limit our ability to think for ourselves. To create, and eventually progress beyond where we are as a society. Whether he ends up gay or straight is predetermined no matter what religion anyone chooses. Whether he grows up tolerant or intolerant of those around him depends on outside influences. I personally believe that those who accept others as they are, would be more welcome into heaven than those who judge others based on their own limited beliefs...but that's just my thought on it."

"I hear what you are saying, and people will make up their own minds as they mature and grow. Some will make strong positive choices, others will choose to sin. That, we cannot control for everyone. We are simply stating at this point in Jimmy's development, exposing him to a lifestyle that the church considers a sin, would be inappropriate at his impressionable age."

"For re-clarification...that YOUR church considers a sin, but not many thousands of others. Justin and I would love to spend months or years debating this with you, with possibly neither side yielding, but I've studied many religions, and one thing I find is that despite upbringing at any age, people will go on to do what they're going to do, regardless. Whether they choose to sin or not sin, will inevitably be a result of circumstances of life. Do you not teach that all people are created in the image of God? Therefore, by religious definition, God must identify as male and female, straight and gay, and every possible skin colour for any teaching to be valid."

"Perhaps I can stop the conversation here," Colleen interjected. Well, that sucks. Colin already had the reverend buried neck deep in his own bullshit. I wanted him to sling a few more shovels full so that the reverend could finally taste his own crap. Just toss out those last few bible contradictions and it would be a TKO. "We can all agree to disagree on religion, but it is not a factor in the placement of a child. Both families not doubt have strengths and weaknesses, like all families. The important factor is that Jimmy has a blood relative. A brother, that he has been reunited with. Time will tell whether memories come back, but to deprive either of them of a relationship, will never be considered an option. Our goal is to find the best way to proceed."

As she finished talking, Blake and Jimmy ran back. "Mom, can me and Blake go to see the giraffes? They're just over there and we're allowed to feed them leaves."

"Sure, honey, just stay where we can see you. We'll be right here," Vanessa replied. It made my skin crawl that Jimmy called her Mom.

"I'm thinking we should go see the tigers next. Maybe feed them a steak!" Blake grinned.

"Blake likes tigers," Jimmy said excitedly. "Show them your tiger tattoo."

"It's a jaguar actually. I got it after we came back from the Amazon," he said lifting his pant leg to show everyone, before they took off.

"You let your 14-year-old son get a tattoo?" Charles asked judgementally.

"Sure. We discussed with the tattoo artist and figured a small one on his lower leg was acceptable. As he grows, it'll stay in proportion," I replied, trying to ignore the judging.

"Isn't 14 a little young for a tattoo?"

"Possibly, but it's legal. Thankfully he needed parental permission, or that tattoo would have been on a butt cheek. The last thing you need at that age is having him drop the side of his shorts to show it off."

Colin gave me a look that said perhaps I shouldn't be so graphic with my replies. It did stop everyone talking for a few seconds though. I did it! I finally got the last word. My psychology schooling was worth every nickel.

Mr. Grayler looked at the Campbells, and they gave him a small nod. It was apparently his turn to talk now. "As previously discussed, we are asking that until this matter is settled through the courts that you have no further contact with the Campbell family. Here is the court order."

"As you wish," Colin said taking it from him. "I'll have my lawyer review it and give you our reply. Meanwhile, please ensure that Jimmy is available without delays when the ministry sets up meetings between Blake, Jimmy and ourselves. Charles. Vanessa. While this document prevents us from having contact with you, we have no such restrictions if you wish to be there while Jimmy is visiting Blake."

"Mr. Worthington the intention of the court order is clear. The family wishes to have no contact at this time, including Jimmy Campbell."

"Mr. Grayler. Charles, Vanessa. While I understand your concerns, Jimmy is actually a foster child legally named John Tyler Jones, and as such, is not covered by your court order," Colleen said quickly. I'm assuming she had to say something like this so it wouldn't set a precedent. "We have already determined that it is in the best interest of both boys that they be united, to both right a wrong of them being separated in the first place, and to assist Jimmy to get his memories back."

"Colleen," Mr. Grayler said almost ignoring the reply. "This is an injunction preventing the ministry from taking any action regarding final decision for placement," the lawyer replied as he handed over a piece of paper to Colleen.

"Yes, we received both documents from the court a couple days ago," Colleen revealed. She reached into her oversize purse/briefcase, and pulled out her own piece of paper and handed it to the lawyer. I felt left out. I didn't even think of bringing pieces of paper to a zoo outing. The lawyer quickly reviewed it and asked if he could speak to his clients alone for a moment. The three of them got up and headed out of earshot.

"What did you give him?" Colin asked. "Should I get my lawyer to meet us here?"

"No need," Jill replied. "The document he's been provided with is the foster care agreement. It says that any conflict within the family or the foster placement, the child is to be removed immediately and returned to the care of the Ministry of Children and Families until such time as the conflict can be resolved. By providing us with an injunction, they have in fact created such a conflict for themselves. Our rules are provincially mandated and therefore supersede their injunction. It will also terminate their foster parent status for any future placement if they wish to continue down their path."

"What does that mean, exactly?" I asked confused by the battling legal jargon.

"It means that once this visit is over, we are within our authority to prevent Jimmy to return with the Campbells and take him back into care. We could place him directly with you, but because of their injunction, we'd be hesitant to do that. We wouldn't want it to appear as if we were doing it out of spite."

"What happens to Jimmy in the meantime?" Colin asked.

"He would be placed in another foster home temporarily until we address their court challenge," she said.

I looked at them and at Colin. "We don't want that. We wanted this to be easy on the three boys, not turn into a three-ring circus where Jimmy is traumatized even more."

"I'd agree with that. How fast can we get this into court?" Colin asked. "I have a lawyer on retainer that can be available at a moment's notice."

"Under the situation, I can probably arrange it within the next couple of days if I cite child endangerment," Colleen answered.

"Jesus, this isn't what we wanted at all. Damn I hate assholes like this," Colin said venomously.

"They don't have any legal ground to keep him. Unfortunately, this may be the only way now if they insist on trying to play hardball."

The Campbells and their lynch mob returned. I think pistols in the town square might be called for at this point. I'm just spit-balling ideas here.

"We hope that you can understand the position of the church on this," the minister said as he talked softly to us. These guys really do have a one-track mind. "Every child needs a loving home with a mother and a father to guide them through life. The homosexual lifestyle, which as you know not that long ago was considered a mental illness, is not one that is good for any child. Please don't misunderstand us. We accept things have changed in today's society, and you have a right to live your life the way you wish, no matter how it conflicts with the teachings of Jesus Christ. Surely you don't want a boy to be subjected to that before he has the chance to make up his own mind when he becomes an adult."

I looked at Colin and tried to telepathically ask him for permission to rip this guy's head off and yank out every one of his internal organs...oh, and not to call me `Shirley'. He really went to the mental illness thing?

"The only mental illness in any of this, is antiquated and outdated beliefs, as they are no longer the beliefs of most mainstream Canadians. Why do you think churches have changed and redesigned themselves?" Colin preached back to him...hallelujah!! Yes, even a fag can be a preacher. "Attendance in churches is down considerably over the past 25 years. I understand as much as 65%, possibly more. Perhaps you should ask yourself why? But we're not here about religion. We want Blake to get to know his brother who he believed had been taken in a fire over three years ago. Where was your God when the house burned down and killed his family? Where was your God to help John get back to his brother, and don't give me bullshit about `God's plan.' It's all absolute crap."

"My son, I know it is hard to understand why God does what he does, but perhaps there was something within his family that needed a change. Only God knows that. Perhaps John was brought to the Campbells for a better life, a way of life where he could excel and be a better version of who he was."

"First, and thankfully, I'm not your son. Second, and the scary part, is that you actually believe that nonsense," Colin replied trying to remain calm. "Fortunately, we have laws in this country that separate church and state to ensure all people are protected, not just those you deem worthy. Only weak and narrowminded people can be brainwashed. We're not your target audience, like the Campbells. Listening to the four of you, I'm beginning to believe that the best thing is to ask child services to remove Jimmy immediately, or file our own injunction preventing Jimmy from attending a religious environment discriminates. We want to ensure he isn't infected with your religious fanaticism any longer. That is far more dangerous than anything you could find from homosexuality. Factual things you can research and make up your own mind about. Fantasy ideas require almost a cult type following to gain momentum, and are always difficult to disprove. We wouldn't want Jimmy exposed to that without the ability to make up his own mind, and he's too young to be able to research that right now. He WILL be reunited with his brother. I'll make sure of it if it takes every penny I have, and trust me, I have a lot of pennies.

I was going to point out that we no longer had pennies in Canada, but I think they got the idea. Perhaps he should change that saying to nickels...or dimes, in case we lose the nickel soon too. There's a lot of those sayings that have gotten lost over the years. Like, `give them an inch and they'll take a mile. No inches and no miles... A penny for your thoughts? No pennies... Talking a mile a minute... again, no miles, but still minutes. Wouldn't touch that with a ten-foot pole. No ten foot anythings...isn't that like a 3.05 meter pole now? And is the Pole they're referring to a Polish person or a stick? No one knows... I like it when my brain wanders away like this, as I miss stupid annoying conversations. I only jumped back in when Colleen began to mediate. That's different than medicate. You learn that the hard way sometimes.

After some further negotiations we all agreed to drop our actions for the benefit of Jimmy. Colleen said that she would get a court date for all of us within the next few days and would let us know. We agreed to put our differences aside for the rest of the visit to ensure the boys enjoyed their time together. We got to the gorilla compound and I couldn't tell which were the boys and which were the gorillas, as they were all acting the same.

The Campbells had moved away from us to have their own space and that was just fine by me. "A Preacher, a lawyer and two homophobes walk into a zoo..." I said under my breath, clenching my fist to get ready for the `punch' line.

"What?" Colin asked looking at me.

"Nothing. I was just wondering if we should we tell them that their son Layne, is gay?" I asked getting an instant reaction from Colleen.

"Is that true, or would you be just trying to see if you could upset them?" she inquired.

"No, Layne is gay. He told me he's scared that his parents might find out if all this gets out of control, and they'd throw him out. Do you think he's in any danger?" I asked planting the seed of whatever I was planting.

"There's no indication of that, and we would never get involved unless the boy was being abused, or did in fact become homeless."

"Don't worry. I told Layne that if anything happened, he could contact us and we'd get him help," I told them.

"Be careful, Justin," Colleen warned. "If the Campbells did find out that Layne went directly to you, they may assume that you coerced him into it. I recommend that you avoid contact with Layne unless his parents are around, or until he voluntarily leaves home. It may even affect John's placement until you officially adopt him, if that's still your intention."

"That's absolutely our intention," Colin assured her as he held my hand. "In fact, we'd like to get that paperwork started. It may strengthen our hand in court."

"I'd hold off on any adoption application for the moment," Colleen recommended. "You want to have Jimmy get comfortable with you before you petition the court for adoption, but we'll include your intentions in our report. If Jimmy struggles with losing the Campbells as his family, he may not react well in court. Give him time to get used to it. He'll be upset and maybe even confused at first."

"Not to be callous," Colin said to her, "but does Jimmy have any say in where he's placed, or in the adoption process?"

"At his age, no. It's up to the Ministry and courts to decide what's in his best interest at this point. Once he turns 12, he can speak up for himself and be considered."

"I hate this," I said sadly. "We know he belongs with Blake, and us, but I hate the thought of ripping him away from the only family he knows at this point. This wasn't what I wanted for anyone. Why do they have to be religious lunatics, and not normal people who want what's best for two brothers."

"It'll be a difficult transition. The same as it was for Blake, but he's turned out to be a fine young man," Colleen said trying to be helpful.

"Who's a fine young man?" I asked with a grin. "Blake? Are you sure you're thinking of the right kid? Right now he thinks he's a gorilla."

She laughed. "You've done a wonderful job with him. I remember the scared, shy little boy who first came to live with you. The one who wouldn't talk and held onto me like his life depended on it. Now he's a teenager, full of life and enthusiasm, and from what I've seen, will be a great big brother again."

"Yeah, you're definitely thinking of a different kid," I joked. "But thanks. Yeah, he's actually a good kid and we're pretty proud of how well he's doing. He has his cousins at the house as well, and they love him like he was actually their big brother. I just wonder how having his real brother back will affect that dynamic. John will have a lot of healing to do, especially if his memory returns."

"That he will, but he's young enough that with some therapy, he'll be able to move forward in a positive way. We'll address that as it progresses," Colleen remarked.

As the day wound up, the boys were still full of energy...and peanuts. They were supposed to give them to the animals, but ended up eating as many as they gave away. That situation alone almost turned into world war three when the Campbells said Jimmy was allergic to peanuts, and Blake replied that he wasn't at all. They clarified that they meant there was a peanut allergy in the house through Layne, so they just avoided it all together. This would normally be the point where I'd call out their continued bullshit. Layne had eaten a peanut butter and jelly sandwich at our house when he was over, and we never had any sort of reaction from him, except that he preferred jam with whole pieces of fruit as opposed to smooth jam. You'd sorta notice an allergic reaction if it were that bad. But to admit that would have meant revealing how well we knew Layne already. As far as they were concerned, we'd never even met their son. Fortunately, peanut-gate came to fast end when we saw how much fun the boys were having feeding squirrels. I thought they'd be feeding the bigger animals like elephants or bears, but no, not my kid. We go to the zoo so he can play with squirrels. Seriously?

I have to admit I felt pretty good considering. The Campbells had arrived with guns loaded, armed with a minister, lawyer and court orders. They were leaving with their tails between their legs having been beat down with the law. And we hadn't even had to pistol whip them or try to choke them out. Oh well, I guess sometimes winning easily does have a downside.

"Considering the tensions here today, we'll be setting up future meetings for the boys to get together. Charles and Vanessa, if you don't wish to be at those meetings, you have that option available to you, but we'll pick Jimmy up at the designated time. Please have him ready. Colin and Justin, you are welcome to attend the meetings as well, but I recommend that for most of them, the boys have time together. The ministry will supervise both boys to make sure they are safe. Assuming you're okay with that," she said looking at us.

"We're fine. Blake is old enough to have his own freedom. You wouldn't need to drive him home if it's out of your way. He has a car service he can call when he needs a ride, or any of us could come get him."

"We'd ensure he got home to you safely," Colleen smiled assuredly. "It has been our experience that it would be beneficial for each boy to see the other's home. For Blake to see Jimmy's room and environment may help him to deal with the current situation, and the same is true in reverse. Jimmy could see Blake's room and get a sense of who his brother is in a more personal setting. Would you object to having either boy in your home?"

Charles replied first. "Blake is welcome, but we respectfully request that Colin and Justin not attend those meetings."

"Fine by us," Colin agreed with me nodding. "You're all welcome at our home, anytime. The boys can go swimming if Jimmy is fine in the water."

"He can swim, but he'd need supervision," Vanessa replied.

"He'd have Blake. I'm sure he's part fish anyway. I'm sure I saw gills growing."

"I'm sure he's an excellent swimmer, but boys are forgetful. He'd need adult supervision."

"We have security monitors throughout the pool level that are accessible on all computers and phones. They're safer in our pools than they are at the public pools, but it's no problem to supervise them in person if you prefer. It's just one idea for them," Colin said as we all headed back to the cars in the parking lot.

I wonder if now would be the right time to suggest that that boys might even go down to the beach behind the house. Let's see how their church deals with naked people everywhere. I've never seen anyone's actual head explode before, and I'd be interested in seeing how that looked. Quite frankly, my entire thought is that we should get the whole thing over with as fast as possible. We arrange for Layne to come over with them, and at some point, the Campbells find Blake balls deep in their son as he's masturbating furiously, screaming at Blake to fuck him harder. Charles and Vanessa have a freak out meltdown, leaving them unfit as foster parents. Layne is thrown out, becomes emancipated, and lives with his Uncle Steve. Jimmy come to live with us, and the Campbell's minister prays for us to be forgiven while visiting Charles and Vanessa in the insane asylum. I then get appointed as their psychologist. That would be the real frosting on the Timbit (donut hole...for those non-Canadians). I really do have a finely tuned mind.

I smiled when I saw Jimmy give Blake a hug goodbye, with Blake carefully returning it as he looked at us to make sure it was okay. We nodded and smiled to let him know it was fine. Once we were back in the car heading for home, Blake stuck his head between our seats. "That was cool, huh? John still likes the zoo. Maybe that'll help his memories."

"It couldn't hurt buddy," I assured him. "Good thing I told the Campbells that John wasn't allergic to peanuts, huh? He coulda missed out on good stuff."

"Yeah. It was good you knew that," I grinned. "You two seem to be getting more comfortable with each other."

"It's tough Dad. I have to keep reminding myself that he doesn't know who I am. I mean I know all this stuff about him up until he was seven, and he knows nothing about me. Then there's this whole gap of the past three and a half years where I know nothing about this whole other life he had. I know he's John, but he's so different now. Part of me just wants the same little brother I had."

"He is the same little brother, just slightly older. Same as you will be to him when his memories return. Just keep throwing in some of the things you enjoyed together as a kid and maybe see if he still likes them."

"He used to love bubble baths and throwing the bubbles everywhere," Blake grinned.

"Sounds like that apple doesn't fall far from the tree," Colin chuckled. "You in the foam room."

"God, I'll bet John would love that room."

"Might be better than you two having a bubble bath together, and playing with your rubber ducky and toy boats."

"Who told you about Quackers?" Blake grinned. "And the only boat I played with in the bath was my submarine. Wanna see what I used for a periscope?"

"NO!" We both shouted at the same time causing Blake to howl with laughter.

"I don't recommend having a bath with John," I announced.

"Yeah. I only took him in the bath when he was little as it was kinda like play time for him. When I was a lot younger and John was only a toddler, sometimes Jennifer would come in the bathroom to make sure we were both okay. I think she used to like it when John wanted to sleep with me, as she enjoyed tucking us in. She was a super good tucker because it took me like 10 minutes to get us free of the blankets once she left."

"Those are the kinds of memories you should share with John when you are together," Colin advised.

"Hey, maybe he could sleep over and you could tuck us in so he could see if he remembers."

"You can suggest it, but I somehow doubt the Campbells would be in favour of a sleepover, especially if you plan on sleeping in the same bed together."

"He's my little brother, so he slept with me a lot. Usually when he was scared or wanting to feel safe," he said, suddenly going quiet and sitting back on the seat. I turned to look at him and his eyes were welling up.

"You okay?" I asked as he wiped his sleeve over his face.

"Yeah. Just can't help but think how I let him down. How scared he must have been that night and I wasn't there when he needed me."

"None of this was your fault, Blake. You had no way of knowing what was going to happen," I said as I reached back to squeeze his leg supportively.

"All I can think of is that if I'd been home and he'd have woken up and noticed the fire, he would have run looking for me, and I could have saved everyone."

I took a deep breath, trying not to cry myself. "Blake, we don't know all the details, but now that we've insisted that another investigation be opened up, we might find that John's only option was to get out because he couldn't get to anyone else. Don't you think that if he could have, he'd have run to your sister or your parents if you weren't home? He wouldn't just have said, oh, Blake's not home, I think I'll just leave."

"I guess not. Our parents did fire drills with us just in case. John was scared when we were younger, so I showed him how to be brave and just do what I did."

"So in a way, because you stepped up as his big brother, it's quite possible that you saved his life by giving him that knowledge."

"Maybe. I just know that I won't let anything happen to him again. I'm gonna make sure he knows everything. I'll teach him karate, and about the birds and the bees, and I'll help him become super smart. I'll defend him from bullies and terrorists, and I'll even kill to make sure he's okay."

"Those are pretty bold goals," I noted. I would have thrown in some humor at this point about how he'd have to get smart himself to be able to teach John, or that the birds and the bees in this house were more outgoing than your average birds and bees. Not the time. He needed emotional support right now. The usual stuff in a crisis. Thoughts and prayers...Ha ha! Just joking. I'd set up a go fund me. At least that would see tangible results.

"I mean it Dad. No one is ever going to hurt John again. I'll make sure of it. That's my job and I'm gonna do it better this time. This is like God giving me a do over, right?"

Who brainwashed this little idiot? I didn't say that out loud. He's still entitled to believe in imaginary friends at his age. "Just don't go overboard, Blake. He still has to be able to grow up. Make his own mistakes. Try new things, and sometimes you may not agree with them, but you have to let him experience things for himself."

"I know, but I'll make sure I'm there to help him through it, and maybe steer him in the right direction if I think he's in danger or not old enough to do something."

"Oh how the tables have turned," Colin laughed.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Blake asked sharply.

"Think about it. You're talking about limiting what John can do because of his age. Seems to me that's the one complaint you have about us. Having age limits on things. Isn't that a bit hypocritical?"

"No! You're parents. I'm a big brother so I know what he likes. Parents are too old to know what kids really like."

"Oh? And how will you handle the tough stuff, mister big brother? Like if he breaks an arm doing a sport, or comes for advice about girls."

"Easy. If he gets injured, I call for an ambulance, or if it's not that serious, I call for a car and we go to the hospital. One the way there, I call you guys so you can meet us. They probably wouldn't release John to me when he was fixed up."

"Probably not," Colin agreed.

"And as for girls. Who know more about this stuff than me? I'd do a way better job on the sex talk than you guys."

"And are you going to deal with puberty when it hits? Or teach him about deodorant and dealing with zits?"

"How is that a thing? You guys never dealt with any of that. My balls dropped, my voice got deeper, I got zits and I just worked through it. No big deal. It's not like we don't have the internet to ask when we're curious. Trust me, a boy will figure out how to use his penis when the time comes. It's how we're wired."

"Are you ready to deal with that when he come to you for advice?" I asked.

"Better than you. Don't worry, John won't be ready for sex for years yet. By that time, I'll have even more knowledge to help him. I taught Cory, didn't I?"

"You taught Cory by having sex with him. You basically screwed the boy straight. Might not be the best example for your resume," I joked.

"He was always straight. I just showed him all the things he could do when he was ready," Blake replied, defending himself.

"Is that how you plan on teaching John when the time comes?"

"No! He's my brother. The only person he gets to have sex with will be people I meet first, run a background check on, and test drive to make sure they'd be good enough for my brother."

"Would you care if he was straight or gay?" Colin asked seriously.

"Of course not. I wouldn't even care if he was transgender. Just as long as he's happy and bully free. That's what pisses me off so much with Darcy. He's such an awesome guy, but then those assholes at his school pick on him. I want to rip their heads off and shit down their necks."

"Graphic," I smirked. I knew that feeling, I thought it myself.

"Darcy said he's dealing with it for now, but at some point, I'm gonna help him."

"Should I ask how?" I asked redundantly...since I was asking if I should ask...which I think is a paradox. Not sure.

"I don't have all the details yet, but let's just say my solution fits in with the eye for an eye thing."

"Try not to get arrested for something like murder," I recommended. You gotta keep doing this parenting stuff all the time, or they just run wild.

"Nothing like that. But right now, Darcy is focused on his self confidence. One he gets that going, then we're gonna go in like Seal Team six...without weapons."

"So, you'll just have camouflage and night vision goggles?"

"Duh! And a helicopter and an underwater breathing system on those little aqua boats. Back to John. What do we do now? Should we plan our next visit? I think he'd like to see all our cars. I know he used to like them when we went to car shows. Now we have our own show right here in the house."

"Maybe not just yet. Let's do some activities that allows Jimmy to get to know you better. The zoo was a good idea as he seemed to enjoy that, and you two talked a lot as you ran around."

"We could do the Aquarium. I think he'd like that. He used to have a Goldfish. Called him Wiggles because of how he swam."

"Better watch out if he sleeps over, or he'll be calling you Squirmy for how you sleep," I joked.

"That's better than what he'd call you guys. "Woody and Bubbles."

"Ummm...I get the woody thing. Very funny, but why Bubbles?" I asked.

"Colin's bubble butt," he giggled.

"I have an idea. Why don't we take him waterskiing, or tubing or fishing? We could go out on the boat and have a whole day on the water. John would definitely like that, and it'd be perfect for him and me to spend tons of time together."

"That's actually not a bad suggestion," Colin nodded. "We could ask one of the guys to be the captain for the day so we could focus on the activities."

"I'll teach John how to drive the boat too. He'd think that was cool."

"Just like you promised to teach him how to fly a plane?"

"Exactly. What 10-year-old wouldn't want to learn this stuff. Wait until I teach him to drive on the race track. That shit will be EPIC! Me and my little brother racing together."

"Shouldn't you learn how to drive first before you teach John?" Colin reasoned.

"Dude! I already know how to drive. It's just that stupid law that says I need to be 16 to get my `L'."

"You know why they give you an `L' plate?" I smirked.

"Yeah, for learner," he replied almost sarcastically, as if I were stupid.

"Not it's because you'd be ell on wheels, or an ell of a driver."

"As in `ella good driver!" he laughed. "Boo-yeah! That's how it goes down, homie."

"Homie?"

"Just trying shit out. Not feeling it though," he said grinning at us. "Okay, so set up the day on the water. Should we invite Layne along for this one?"

"Not yet. Let's get Jimmy comfortable with you first and then we can invite Layne to things later on. Remember, at the moment, if Layne is there, he'd be the big brother. To Jimmy you're a guy he just met at this point. Once we get him understanding that you're the real brother, then I think it'd be okay to involve Layne," I explained with Colin nodding in agreement. Listen to me all official and shit. We all hung out together for the rest of the day and it was no surprise when Blake asked if he could sleep with us. I think on emotional days like this, everyone likes to cuddle with someone, and Blake was definitely a cuddler...and a wriggler. I was almost impressed that he actually just went to sleep and didn't spend an hour trying to convince us to have sex with him. The morning was slightly different. We awoke to him furiously masturbating.

I opened my eyes and stared at him as he was fully concentrating on flogging the pole at a blistering speed. "Do you mind not shaking the bed."

"What? This is what I always do in the morning. If you want me to finish faster, you could get down there and help. This thing doesn't suck itself you know."

"If only they could," I smiled as I closed my eyes and tried to pretend we were out on the ocean as the bed rocked.

I heard the breathing increase and then the loud grunt as he reached his climax. "Oh yeah! That was a good one," he said, almost to himself. "Fuck I needed that. You got tissues or a cum sock handy. I'll need several as I busted a good one today."

"TMI, buddy," I said as I reached for the tissue box and gave it to him.

"Are we done making noise now?" mister grumpy asked from the other side of the bed.

"Yeah. I can sleep again," Blake replied as he handed the tissue box back and threw the spent ones over me onto the floor. He rolled over and cuddled against Colin.

"Blake," Colin said a couple moments later.

"What?"

"Get your hand out of my ass crack."

"It's not. It's between two soft pillows," he replied sounding anything but innocent. I, of course, couldn't help myself.

"Those aren't pillows!" I cried out, mimicking Steve Martin in the Planes, Trains and Automobiles movie. They both looked at me frowning. Seriously, do they not watch ANY movies. "Never mind."

"Your butt does make a really good pillow though," Blake announced as he disappeared under the covers to rest his head on Colin's ass. I think Colin tried to ignore him which is never usually successful with Blake.

"Dude. That's not my butt."

His head popped up to look at Colin. "I know. I was just checking to see if you had morning wood. Since I'm sleeping on your butt pillow, I could take care of it for you if you want help."

"I can take care of my own morning erection," Colin assured him.

"Or Justin can. I'm sure he'd be a good little wife and spread his legs for you to unload in."

"Blake!" I said quickly. "That's pretty sexist."

"How? We're all guys. It's not like you're actually a chick. If you were, I wouldn't say something like that. That'd be kinda rude, but were all boys and I'm just joking."

"Well even without a girl here, just saying it shows sexism."

"I'll have to get back to you on that. Seems okay to me. Anyway, are you saying you wouldn't open your legs for Colin's morning wood? Better pay attention to his answer, Dad. This might be the beginning of the end of sex for you guys. It's that age thing happening right in front of me."

"Will you shut up, Blake!" I laughed. "Try sleeping quietly like a normal person."

"Some normal people snore. That's not quiet," he reasoned. "And stop deflecting. The jury is waiting for your answer. Would you or would you not spread your legs to help out your husband?"

"Any time. Any where!" I answered seductively. "I'd let his big hard cock slide deep into my love tunnel until it gushed in appreciation. Then I'd flip him over and bury my face into his hot bubble butt and eat him out, probing his hole with my tongue until had his second orgasm. Then we'd kiss and cuddle for hours until we were ready to fuck again."

"Gross! A simple yes or no would have sufficed," he chuckled as he shuffled back up the bed to resume his position between us. He reached over to grab my hand and wrapped it around his cock.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm horny again. I need some action," he said looking at me and giving a big smile.

"Call your girlfriend over, or one of a dozen guys that I'm sure would rush here at a moment's notice. Hell, for that matter, go jump into bed with Ben or Troy, and whoever they have with them tonight."

"You'd lose out on all this hotness," he boasted.

"I'll live."

"You both might not live if you don't shut up and go back to sleep," Colin mumbled. Boy, he's not a morning person.

"I'll be back once I take care of this rager," Blake said graphically as he climbed over me and left the bedroom.

"Remind me why we let him sleep with us again," Colin said as he shuffled closer.

"Because we drink too much?" I joked.

"That's got to be it, because sober people would never agree to that. Now, are you gonna be a good wife and spread your legs for me honey?"

"Bitch!" I laughed before I flipped onto my stomach and spread my legs. He was on top of me and in before I had a chance to check my lipstick. He threw the covers back and fucked me with long slow strokes while he kissed me. For those new to anal sex, here's a tip. When the guy in you is fucking slow, he just wants to enjoy the moment, so keep your ass nice and relaxed and just let him slide back and forth easily. You both get into the rhythm and the sensations of being connected together. When he starts to pick up speed and his breathing becomes shallow, it's all about the fuck. Slowly begin to clamp your ass around his cock and the extra pressure on it will increase his pleasure. Trust me, he'll cum way faster and harder too. If you're really advanced at anal, then tighten your ass when he plunges in and relax as he pulls out. Not only is that good for him, it's great for the butt muscles. You can do boring squats at the gym, or lie on your bed being fucked for hours. The results are almost identical, and one of those definitely isn't boring. (disclaimer: I have no idea if it is better than squats), I just know I have never been to the gym to do them and my ass is as firm as marble...so there's that. Plus keep telling straight boys about this and maybe more of them will give up their asses...in the gym showers!

I was snapped back into focus when Colin announced he was about to cum. Whoa, I must have really been day dreaming as he was pounding the stuffing out of me, and we bounced hard into the mattress.

"Unghhhh!" he grunted as he slammed into me and stayed there as his cock pulsated his morning gift into me. I'm sure I felt it throb at least ten times. I hope there's enough room in my ass for that much cum. He collapsed on top of me panting. "Such a good little wifey," he teased. I pushed him off me and his cock popped out of me like a cork out of a champagne bottle. I'm sure there was even the same sound and gushing of white liquid as he did it.

"I KNEW IT!" Blake said as he busted through the bedroom door and ran over to the bed. "Just like I called it. Justin on the bottom, legs spread, while Colin pounds away. Did you cum?" He asked as he knelt on the bed and pulled my ass cheeks apart.

"Hey! Mind your own business," I complained as I turned on my side moving my ass away from him.

"I knew it. You have Colin's jizz running out of your hole. Guess he didn't do it long enough, huh? You're still hard," he said as he reached down and grabbed me.

"Blake. Let go of that or lose the hand," I warned.

He giggled. "Are we gonna go shower now?"

"Are you going to behave in there?" Colin inquired.

"Define `behave'," he said in air quotations.

"No grabbing any parts that are normally protected by underwear," he clarified.

"Oh. Then your answer is no. I probably won't behave. Now are we showering so we can go do stuff today or what?" He didn't wait for an answer before running off to the bathroom.

"Do you still have those zip ties handy? We could secure his hands to prevent him grabbing anything."

"You know he'd only see that as a challenge, right?" Colin laughed as we headed for the bathroom. I could feel the cum churning in my butt and partially running down my leg. I had to use the toilet to drain myself as Colin and Blake took the best shower positions. I was really expecting Blake to try something with us, but he was actually pretty mellow. He only washed our backs for us after we did his, but other than that, he didn't get up to anything.

Once we dried off and headed back into the bedroom, Blake looked at us. "Are we staying naked or getting dressed?"

"I think some clothes would be good today," I suggested.

"Cool. Can I borrow a shirt and some underwear? That way I don't have to go all the way back to my room for some."

"You mean your room that is right next door? The one we have to pass by to get downstairs? That room?" Colin asked amused.

"Yeah. So what you got that's good?" He asked as he went into the closet to look around. He picked pair of designer underwear and my tight-fitting Guess t-shirt. He was big enough now that my clothes actually fit him and looked almost as good on him as they did on me. I said almost...in fact I think he looked better in them, but I'd never admit that. So cross out that last thought.

"What do you think?" He asked looking at himself in the mirror.

"I think you look hot enough to fuck," I teased as I stood behind him. With his messy blonde hair back to full length, he looked every bit a model.

"Oh! So NOW you want to fuck me. Where was that offer fifteen minutes ago when I was horny and naked?"

"You weren't as hot looking then," I said to insult him.

"You just hadn't washed the sleep out of your eyes. I'm hotter naked," he bragged.

"How about we go out for breakfast this morning?" Colin offered. "Where would you like to go...and don't say McDonald's."

"Mickey D's," Blake giggled. "How about iHop. He hops. She hops, we all hop to iHop!"

"Blake!" I said staring at him.

"I know. Blake...shut up!" He said turning to hug me. "I think you're getting fat, Dad," he chuckled before running out of the closet.

"I am not getting fat. Am I?" I asked looking at my stomach in the mirror and then looking at Colin.

"Not even close. You're hotter now than the day I met you. Look at those abs and those great perky nipples, and that bulge in those shorts. You know when that things gets adult size, you'll be stunning," he teased.

"If this thing gets any bigger, you won't be able to walk after we have sex," I replied mostly ignoring the attempted insult. I'm pretty sure even if I ever did get fat, he'd never say anything bad about it. But trust me, first time I gain an extra five pounds or just half an ab disappears, I'm going for lipo and that stomach band surgery thing. And don't even get me stared about man boobs. The second just one pec starts to jiggle, I'm get that sucker implanted, or sucked out, or whatever guys do to make their pecs firm again. Don't start on that going to the gym crap. I figure I'll have to up my sex activity. Nothing like a good hot session to burn some calories and tone up the body. I heard swimming is good too, so I figure a couple hours of sex in the pool, and I'll be as fit and toned as Colin forever.

"Oh guys. I invited Layne over this afternoon, so we could do that talk thing with him. Don't worry, I used the secret app to communicate with him."

"What time did you tell him?"

"About 1. He can have lunch with us. I know you guys wanna say stuff to him, but I want to talk to him about John and find out about the past three years. Maybe see if I can learn things about my little brother that only Layne knows. I want to stay friends with him so John doesn't feel like he has to choose between us right now. Hopefully one day he'll remember everything and I'll have all of my brother back. For now, this is the best way to make sure he's not more traumatized."

"That's pretty mature thinking, Blake. I'm proud of you."

"Thanks. That's some of Nate's advice. He's pretty good as a therapist. He's still a little uncomfortable when I talk about sex, but I think he's getting used to me."

"Then he's a better therapist than I thought. Even I'm not used to you."

He just grinned. "Guess you should stay in school until you learn how to deal with even the tough cases, huh?"

"If you're one of the tough cases, I'll never graduate."

We all did our own thing around the house for the morning until the front gate buzzed and Blake let Layne in. He arrived dressed nicely and sporting his usual cheerful attitude. "Hey! I rode my bike so it's okay to leave it in the driveway isn't it?"

"Sure. I always leave stuff there," Blake told him. He's not wrong about that. If you're not paying attention you could break your neck on his skateboard, or drive over his bike, or one of his friends, that he leaves laying around. We gathered in the kitchen to have lunch which led to some casual conversation about how things were going at school. Things like that.

"You guys all wanna go upstairs and have sex as soon as we finish lunch?" Blake said in his usual subtle fashion.

"I thought you invited Layne over to talk to him about John...errr Jimmy," Colin reminded him.

"Yeah, but we can't really concentrate when we're all horny and thinking about who else might have a boner."

"No one is thinking that but you?" He reasoned.

"And your point? Since I'm the one who wanted us all to talk, shouldn't I be the one to have the most concentration. How can I do that if Layne is throwing off fuck me vibes?"

"I'm not throwing off any vibes," he said, quickly defending himself.

"You're saying you wouldn't want a four-way right now?" Blake smirked.

"No. I'm not saying that," Layne smirked.

Blake put his hand out towards Layne, and looked at us. "See. Fuck me vibes."

"I'm just saying that I'm fine not having sex if you want to talk," Layne clarified. "I don't know what you guys did when you went to the zoo, but my parents are pissed, and I mean piiisssed! I don't think I've ever seen them that outraged about anything. Did you offer to have sex with them too?" He said partially joking.

"It may have had something to do with the fact that they tried to prevent us from seeing Jimmy, and we proved they couldn't do that," I explained.

"Yeah, I heard something like that. They're thinking of taking Jimmy to the church and claiming sanctuary until they can adopt him."

"Fuck, they're dumber than I thought. Technically they'd be kidnapping a minor, and claiming sanctuary won't stop the authorities from retrieving him. They can try, but it would probably lead to everyone being arrested. No offense to your parents, but shit they're ignorant," Colin said bluntly. Usually he's so articulate and level headed.

Layne partially nodded in agreement. "They just don't want us to have to give Jimmy to a bunch of fags. Their words not mine."

Blake frowned. "How many are in a bunch? They only know about Colin and Justin being gay, right? Or do they think I am too?"

"They didn't say, but they basically said that you are probably being brainwashed into the homosexual lifestyle."

Blake laughed. "They should come stay here for a while. They'd see that Colin and Justin keep trying to get me to stop having sex as much, so if anything, they're trying to reverse brainwash me."

"You on the other hand..." I said smiling at Layne.

"For the record. I'm fine with it. It's a lifestyle I could open up to!" Layne replied grinning.

Blake laughed. "Want me to help open you up?"

"I think what my parents are more upset about is that this is ruining their regular routines. They were supposed to go away for a month, but they cancelled it to stay here. You would have loved the conversation they had with my Uncle Steve. They said they needed him to look out for Jimmy and make sure the child services people didn't try to grab him if they were ever away. The look on his face was priceless when they said we all need to stick together or the homosexuals would be after all our children."

"That's so fucking stupid," I said shaking my head. "We don't want all the children. We're happy with you and Jimmy for now."

He laughed. "I'm fine with it too."

"What did your uncle do after they said that?" Colin asked.

"He said they were overreacting and that if they softened their anti-gay rhetoric, or even learned to accept all people as god created them, he was sure we could all find a workable solution to this situation."

"And your parents said, `Great idea. I think that's how we should handle it?'" I said sarcastically.

"Almost," he said almost looking embarrassed for them. "They said we needed to fight this all the way to the supreme court. Get them to see how the homosexual agenda isn't a family value and no gay should be allowed children."

"Wow. Wonder how they'd feel if a straight couple had a gay child?" Colin said looking at Layne.

"One day we're gonna find out, but I'd kinda like to finish school before I get thrown to the streets, or get sent for gay conversion therapy in Siberia."

"I hear Siberia is lovely this time of year," Blake chuckled.

"I thought my uncle was going to lose it right there, but I think he knows if he ever said he was gay, that he'd never get to see us again. That would suck because his house is the only place I get to be myself without worrying about what I say or do. Well his place and here, of course."

"Yeah, that's what lots of people say when they come over," Blake nodded.

"I love my parents but because of the things they believe, it makes it tough to talk to them about anything controversial. I even stayed at my uncle's last night. I told them I was spending the night there to let them have time to discuss Jimmy in private, but really I just wanted to go to Uncle Steve's party," he said with a big smile.

"What kinda party?" Blake asked staring intently at his friend.

"The usual. You wouldn't think old guys like that would be so horny, but they seemed to never get tired. I fell asleep in my room at one point and woke up to someone fucking me. He had my legs spread super wide apart and I'm pretty sure someone else was taking pictures or video of it. I just pretended to stay asleep as I was too tired to participate. You know how it is. They see you enjoying it and the next thing you know you're having to suck cock while the line forms to ride you. You're expected to stay hard the whole time so they know you're enjoying their attention. It's easier just to lie there pretending to be asleep, and let them bust one off in you."

"I hear ya. It's like that around here all the time. I need a fly swatter to keep them all away. I'm even thinking of putting an electric fence around my bed so I can get some sleep," Blake nodded, smiling.

"Boy if that isn't the most backward version of a story that I've ever heard," Colin said shaking his head. "If he doesn't start keeping his pecker to himself, we may just put it in a chastity cage six days a week."

Blake playfully stuck his tongue out at us. "You could try, but on that seventh day, you all better be good for 24 hours of the Blake show."

"Nice, I love comedy," I joked.

"Rude. So rude!" He said glaring at me with a glint in his eyes.

Layne laughed. "See. This is how I wish it was at my house. You can say anything to each other. Serious or playful, or even inappropriate, and no one gets in to trouble."

"Oh, I get into trouble. I even got grounded once. That was the worst. Sometimes I even get yelled at for not cleaning stuff up. So brutal. It's like living in a concentration camp."

"Ummm, we studied history in school," Layne replied. "and I'm pretty sure concentration camps didn't have pools with waterslides, a media and games room."

"This one does. I mean next they'll be ordering me to do the dishes by hand! Could you imagine how pruney my fingers would get?"

"Poor you. You live such a hard life. Maybe you and Layne should swap places for a month," Colin suggested.

Blake howled hysterically. We weren't sure what we'd said to get that reaction, so we waited for him to tell us.

"Dude. That would be epic. I'd go in there and really show them what a gay kid is like. I'd bring friends over everyday and screw them stupid in your bed. Then I'd be running around naked, and wearing tight clothes to school with my fingernails painted."

"Dude, just seeing your tattoo and earring had my parents freaking out. They'd go fucking insane if they saw your nipple ring, and you wouldn't get two feet naked. First guy you brought home wouldn't get past the front door, never mind to my bed for sex. Trust me on that. Even the friends I bring over aren't allowed in my bedroom most of the time. But on the other hand, you can try it. I'd love to live here for a month. This place is like a gay Disneyland."

"Dude. Disneyland is like a gay Disneyland," Colin laughed. "And you can trust me on that. I grew up not far from it."

"Sweet. I've always wanted to go there. Maybe be a princess for a day. Have a three-way with Goofy and Mickey."

"Goofy?" Blake asked frowning.

"Sure. Yup that's some penis you got there, boy," he said in his best Goofy imitation. "Might want to experience a thrill ride on that, yuk yuk yuk."

"Speaking of a thrill ride...you wanna go upstairs and give me your ass, or we could just do it here in the kitchen?"

"Those are my only choices?" Layne said playfully.

"No. We can fuck on the trampoline for all I care. Just as long as something is going in somewhere, I'm good. So? My bedroom or what?"

"Let's go!" Layne replied as they stood up together.

"You guys joining in?" Blake asked looking at us.

"Why don't you two go ahead. Colin and I have some things to finish up here."

"Okay, but if you come up you gotta roleplay. We're just two boys that you catch having sex and decide to show us a few things. I'm not your son and he's not Layne, okay?"

"We'll see," I responded. They took off upstairs at a blistering pace. I looked at Colin who was smirking. "What?"

"You should never have explained roleplaying to him."

"He'd have looked it up online and done it anyway. Were we that sex crazed when we were 14?"

"You're that sex crazed now, never mind 14," Colin laughed. "But that's why I love you. I know I was almost exactly like that when I was 14. I'd screw any guy that would let me. From what you've told me, Jason was like that too, but you didn't start until you were 16."

"True. Maybe that's why I'm still so active now. I'm making up for lost time," I grinned.

"Are we really going up to have sex with them?" Colin asked seriously. "What if Layne suddenly decides to support his parents? I still think it's a bad idea for Layne and Blake to be seen together until this is all settled. Last thing we need is for the Campbells to use the boys' friendship against Jimmy and us."

"True."

Colin looked over towards the stairs where the boys had gone.

"What you looking for?" I asked glancing over as well.

"Nothing. Layne's an interesting guy, isn't he? He's adapted to both his situations equally. He's straight and religious at one house, gay and wildly sexual at the other. Like flipping a switch. Doesn't hurt that he is actually a very good-looking boy with incredible features."

I chuckled. "Shit. You want to fuck him, don't you?"

"Normally I wouldn't, but you know what. I kinda do. There's just something about the shape of his ass that draws me in."

"Figuratively, and now you want literally," I teased. "For me, it's that square, well-defined, jawline. Watching his face take my cock only accentuates it more. Shall we go use him? Trust me you'll love his ass. It's as hot as it looks."

We raced upstairs and stopped just before Blake's door. "Follow my lead." We barged into the room to find the two guys lying on their side in a 69 position. Both with their heads between the others legs.

"Alright boys, stop that romantic cuddling shit!" I said trying to sound all 80's action hero tough. "You got my boy here all horny and I can't control him anymore. Layne's ass has Colin all worked up and he wants it, so we're taking it. You ready to have a real man ride that tight pussy?"

"Hell yeah," Layne replied eagerly as the boys separated and moved to sit on the side of the bed. "Woohoo! Now I can cross Colin off my bingo card."

"Bingo card?" I asked.

"Yeah. I put the names of guys I find super hot on a card. If I get to have sex with them, I cross the name off. If I get a line complete, I buy myself a prize."

"What sort of prizes?" I asked as I undressed Colin while the boys watched.

"Last one I bought was a butt plug. I keep stuff like that at Uncle Steve's though. I made the mistake of wearing it to school one day. Huge mistake!"

"Why?" Blake asked as he took Colin's underwear off, leaving him naked. I took my own clothes off in a hurry so I wasn't late to the party once the action started.

"Every time I sat down, I could feel it rubbing my prostate and I got a boner. I think I was hard all day, and pretty much everyone noticed and commented on it. If I'd been out at school, I probably could have gotten laid a thousand times. When the guys said anything, I just said I was thinking of their Mom and me last night."

Blake laughed. "Funny. It'd be more accurate if it were their Dads."

"I know right? Speaking of Dads..." he said licking his lips and looking Colin up and down.

"Go for it, Colin. Layne's a pretty good lay," Blake encouraged.

Colin dropped to his knees between Layne's legs and pushed them open for better access. We watched as Colin went down on Layne and began to give him one of his amazing blowjobs. I know how good they are as I've had more of them than anyone else, and they still make me cum hard. Layne may not last long enough to be fucked. Blake leaned back to show off his own erection. His eight inches never stopped being impressive as you wouldn't expect that on some with such a slight build. No wonder he got laid ten times more than his fair share. I had Blake kneel up by Layne's head and watched as he pulled his friend onto his erection. They went slow, but to his credit, Layne swallowed the entire thing.

"Damn. He can deep throat you? That's some talent," I nodded appreciatively.

"It took him a while, but he can finally do it," Blake grinned as he knelt there allowing his friend to suck him off. Meanwhile at the other end of the body, Colin had stood up and lifted Layne's legs up and had them resting on his chest. He called for someone to throw him the lube and it took no time at all after that before he was pushing inside Layne's perfect ass. I watched closely as he took him and couldn't help but lean in to lick Layne's cock which was rock hard from all the attention. Three guys on him and I'm sure he wouldn't have minded if more joined. He was pretty used to being the center of group attention.

We all played with him for a while until we'd have a couple orgasms each and decided it was time for a break. Once in a while you have to pause sex to live other, less interesting, aspects of your life.

After we all got dressed again, we went downstairs so we could talk. It seemed a better idea than laying around on Blake's bed naked. There're too many distractions that way.

"We thought we should all talk because this situation with all of us is obviously going to escalate quickly now, as it sounds like you've already witnessed," I said speaking first.

"Yeah. I'll say. Things are kinda bat shit crazy right now."

"That's why we wanted to talk to you and find out where you stand in this whole thing," Colin added.

"If I'm being honest, I don't know exactly. I hate the idea of Jimmy leaving and not being my brother any more. I always wanted a little brother so when he came to live with us, it was the best day of my life. Since then he's been a real brother. Mostly awesome, but sometimes a pain in the ass."

"He can be like that. That's for sure," Blake smiled. "He always used to bug me when I was doing something he couldn't participate in, but when it was just me and him hanging out, he was fun."

"Exactly," Layne nodded. "Now you guys are planning on taking him away, and it kinda sucks big time."

"I'm sorry about all this," I said trying to be as supportive as I could. "It's not like we're living in another province or country. It'll be up to Blake, but I'm sure you can visit as much as you want and still have Jimmy as a brother."

"Yeah. I think he'd like that," Blake agreed, being the guy we already knew he was. "I mean I hope that John will get his memories back so he can remember both of us, which'll make it way better for everyone. I really hurt a lot that he doesn't know who I am. All I wanna do is hug him and have him remember our old lives."

"I can see it from your point, but he's lived with me for over three years and it's like he was always my brother. It's gonna hurt so bad seeing him leave to live somewhere else. My parents would never let me come over to visit. They've already said they don't want me to go along on any of these meetings you guys do as they don't want me exposed to homosexuals with an obvious desire to coerce young boys into sin."

"They actually said that?" Colin asked shocked.

"Word for word," He replied.

"Unreal," I said shaking my head. "Since you are keeping a big part of your life private from them, would you follow their wishes and not visit Jimmy if he lived here?"

"Hell no. Uncle Steve and me already had this talk. Since we live with him for about half the year anyway, that time isn't an issue as he has no problem with you guys. My parents don't really track where I am anyway, and if they ever started spying on me, Steve said he'll get me a second phone that I could use and leave my other one at his place. That way my parents would think I'm there."

"It's too bad that your parents can't just accept people for who they are," Colin said.

"Yeah. They try to play the whole Christian thing, but it's kinda horrible to watch. They only want to help people that will change to do what they think is right. They spend a lot of time judging people. Like when they see a homeless person or someone begging for change. Instead of actually doing something that might help, they tell him that god will forgive him and he should pick himself up, get cleaned up and get a job. They don't actually help them do it, they just tell them that's how it should be done so they're not a blight on society. Not even sure what a blight is."

"Means they spoil society," Colin replied. I actually knew that one. "Where do you stand on all this Layne? I guess that's what we really need to talk to you about. When things progress and Jimmy is moved to live with us, how will this affect you? Will you help your parents fight to keep him, or will you be okay with him being reunited with Blake?"

"I guess if I'm still being honest, I know it's the right thing for Jimmy to be with his real brother, but I absolutely hate the fact that he has to leave. I've thought about this a lot since it all started and I even wondered what would happen if I told my parents I was gay and that I already knew you guys."

"And?" I asked slowly.

"Don't worry. I quickly figured out that would be the worst scenario. Uncle Steve said it would create a whole lot of problems that none of us wanted. He sort of suggested the same thing as you guys, with one small difference. He said maybe once things settled down and Jimmy got comfortable with is new reality, that I could visit him a lot, and maybe sometimes you'd let Jimmy stay over at Uncle Steve's. That was he doesn't lose his entire family at once. At least the family he remembers for now. Sorry, Blake. I know this shit sucks for you too."

"It does. All I want is to spend time with him and tell him about stuff we did growing up. I know way deep in my heart that eventually he'll remember, and my little brother will be back like he was."

Layne shook his head. "I wouldn't count on that. My parents are already saying how bad you guys are and that he must never let you touch him in his private areas."

"Are they sick or something?" Blake blurted out. "He's my little brother. Trust me. No one is touching any of his areas. Not even when he's a teenager on dates. I'll make sure he's a virgin until five years after he's married."

"We have the same rule for Blake," I said trying to look serious.

Layne looked at us and grinned. "He's not good at following rules, I take it?"

"Not at all," Colin laughed.

"Are we allowed to touch you in your private areas?" Blake grinned as he looked at Layne.

"Hell no. My room is off limits for sex, but any other private areas are fine for us to get naked and bone."

"Guy, all joking aside, I think we should limit contact for a little while in case your parents are spying on us. If they see Layne coming over here, or the two of you together, they may use it against us, and it may affect your ability to keep this part of your life to yourself," Colin told them.

"Oh, they're already doing that," Layne revealed making my whole body go much colder, like someone turned the air conditioning up to `arctic'.

"They are?" I asked.

"I'm not sure what they doing exactly, but they hired some investigator to look into you guys. I heard them talking about researching who you were. They already know lots about Colin as I heard them talking about how much money you had and how you could just buy anything you wanted, including Jimmy."

"They think we're trying to buy Jimmy?" Colin asked concerned.

"They floated the idea to the investigator that maybe you're paying the ministry a lot of money to make sure the files reflect information in your favour. They even told him that they doubted the DNA tests were real and you just bought them. They seriously believe that you're just collecting kids to turn gay."

"That's some messed up shit," I said staring in disbelief. "Why would we buy kids? We can't get rid of the one we have now."

"Bite me," Blake said. "Does this mean we can't hang out anymore?"

"Sounds like they're looking for any loophole to keep Jimmy from living with his brother. Has anyone explained to them that even if they were somehow successful in stopping us from fostering and then adopting Jimmy, that they wouldn't be allowed to keep him either? The ministry would never allow a conflict like this to affect a placement."

"Wait! They could stop Jimmy from living with us?" Blake blurted out shocked.

"I doubt it," Colin replied quickly. "You're legally his brother, but they might slow the process down so much that it could be years before it's resolved. They would always let you see him as you're related, but it would likely be supervised visits. Let's not cross that bridge yet. We still have a long way to go. Layne, we would never ask you to spy on your parents, but if you feel like sharing any information that you do learn, it would help all of us. I think the worst scenario in all of this would be for Jimmy to be taken from both homes and have him live with complete strangers. All of us, except Blake, might be forbidden from seeing him."

"Justin would be allowed, wouldn't he? He's a real relative too," Blake reasoned.

"Maybe, but how about if we don't focus on that, but look for positive ways to resolve this," Colin said trying to refocus all of us.

"I'll ask Uncle Steve to talk to them. He might be able to say something that could help."

"Wouldn't hurt to try," I reasoned.

"I was also thinking that if it's not a good idea for me to come over here in case the investigator is watching you guys, maybe Blake and I could hang out at Uncle Steve's. I could go there and Blake could sneak in the back door."

"I don't have to sneak in your back door," Blake said with a giant grin. "You already bend over and let me in. No sneaking involved."

"True. Although you know Steve. If you're gonna hang out there, he's gonna be in your back door lots too."

"Guess that's the price I'll have to pay so we can hang out for now. Oh well, I'll suffer through it," Blake chuckled.

"Also watch how much you guys are texting. That may be something they can monitor."

"We already got that figured out," Layne replied. "We use a secure app that isn't shown on my phone screens, so my parents have no idea about it. We also talk in code. Like if I want to hang out, I ask about homework, and he'd reply with a page or chapter number. That's the time we'll meet."

"And if he wants to have sex, he'll talk about climate change."

"Just be careful. I'd say limit your communication to a minimum for now. I doubt they're watching you Layne, but if they're watching Blake as well as us, then any contact you have could be a problem."

"I got this Dad. Don't worry. I'll watch for suspicious cars following me when I go somewhere. I'll even have my driver go down an alley where I'll jump out and hide. My driver will keep going to lead the guy on a wild goose chase, and I'll get a second car."

"Okay, James Bond," I laughed.

"Glad we could talk," Colin said to him. "I know this is gonna suck big time, but hopefully when it all settles down, you'll still be an important part of Jimmy's life. You'd be okay with that, wouldn't you, Blake?"

"I think it'd be nice for John to have both of us around as his brothers, but I'm not sure about your Uncle Steve. Last time I was there I was naked and being fucked before I could even introduce myself. Well, almost that fast. I don't want him having sex with John."

"He doesn't," Layne assured him. "He lets him watch and teaches him things that a boy should know, but he's not into real sex with him. He said he's too young for that."

I had to admit, I'd seen that too. He had no problem letting Jimmy watch and learn but when it came to full sex, he drew the line.

"But once he gets older, I don't want him doing it either, Blake said almost forcefully. Oh how the tables turn. He's going to be saying to his kid brother. `Wait until you're 14, or 16, or 18' to do something. Then we'll remind him how that worked out with him when we said it. What goes around comes around, baby.

"I should get home before I'm late, or they'll send out the military to get me," Layne grinned. "Thanks for the talk. Oh, and for the sex. I just need a spit roast while getting head to finish another line on my card."

"I'll get a couple of guys and we'll make that happen," Blake grinned as he got up to walk his friend to the door.

Colin looked at me. "They hired an investigator? They really are taking this to the extreme. We'll warn the guys to keep doors and windows closed when they have someone over and maybe we limit the outdoor skinny dipping for now."

"Good idea. But isn't that going limit our ability to coerce young boys into our homosexual cult?" I joked.

"Probably, but you can always go hangout at the `Q' mansion. There's always fresh meat there you can have."

"The other thing I was thinking is that maybe we should stay away from the Academy as well. Last thing we need is the investigator to put the school on his radar."

"True. It's supposed to be a safe place for the boys, not one under scrutiny from homophobes," Colin agreed. "We should make sure to tell Blake as well."

"Tell Blake what?" Blake asked as he returned to sit with us.

"We were just saying, it might be a good idea to stay away from the Academy for now. In case you're being followed by an investigator, we wouldn't want to expose the school to their brand of crazy."

"Yeah. This shit sucks balls, but I'll only go to straight places for now. Like the ballet or the opera," he giggled. "I'm just kidding. Karate, diving, flying lessons with Kyle and wrestling. Macho guy shit."

"Well maybe not wrestling. That seems more gay than the ballet if you think about it," I said to him.

"Only the way Warren's brother does it," Blake laughed. "I could take up boxing or MMA. I know. I'll wear a baseball cap and a wife beater with stupid slogans on them, and I'll spit and fart a lot."

"You got the farting down already," Colin teased. "Just keep being yourself. I'm not really worried about what you do as it wouldn't hold any weight in court, but the less we have to defend if it gets that far, the easier it'll be to get John home with you."

"Don't worry Dads, I'll be the poster boy of a normal Canadian kid. Sorry, eh! Want some maple syrup on your beaver, and pass me that Timbit and double double? I'll be paying with a couple loonies and twonies."

"Change beaver to moose and I think that sounds pretty normal," I nodded.

Blake giggled. "Oh yeah, `cause beaver could be a girl's vagina, right? Mmmmm...maple syrup on it. Shit! I gotta go call Sienna," he said as he rushed out of the room.

"Yeah, nothing normal about that boy. We're not only not going to get John, they're gonna lock us all in an insane asylum," I laughed. "Speaking of which. Wanna grab the maple syrup and go up to our room?"

"Maple flavoured sausage has always been my favorite," Colin laughed. "I hope Colleen can get this whole situation resolved sooner rather than later. Maybe she can talk sense into the Campbells and find a compromise for the short haul."

"I doubt they're the type that listen to reason. They're probably flat earth type people and anti-vaxxers. I think all of that is just a branch of the anti-common-sense society. Wanna become society boys?"

"We are," Colin grinned as he put his arm around me. "We're part of the `Q' Society and high society."

"And by high society, do you mean because you're rich, or because we have our own pot garden?" I grinned as I put my head on his shoulder.

"Would it matter?"

"Nope. Not to me. But I'm thinking that anti-common-sense society sounds fun. We could really mess shit up. My first act would be to contact everyone to meet at the art gallery for a protest against protesting. We could it the `protest to end all protests'. We will incorporate the society, get federal funding and invite all fringe groups to join us. The 99% group, the anti-anything groups, white supremacists, and black lives matter people. Then we'll get the Asians for nicer masks group, and the indigenous we want Winnipeg back society. I think we should also include the climate change, save the whales, polar bears, and flat earth people. I think we could save all the animals if we just teach them not to walk off the end of the earth when they get there. That alone could save millions. It'll be a party."

"You really need to up your medication," Colin laughed.

"It's up as high as they allow. Maybe I'm over medicated?"

"You're something."

"Okay, I have a deep thought and it's not gonna be popular, but it's shit I've been thinking about."

"Oh god, here we go. Am I going to need to defend myself as an American again?"

"No, nothing like that. I was wondering how come people just can't all be treated equal. Like who gives a shit what color your skin is or what gender you are or what religion, or not religion, you practice. Just treat everyone the same. Period. End of story. I mean right now I'm a white guy that somehow has become the enemy."

"You're a rich white guy," Colin corrected. "Double enemy."

"Right. But I'm curious. There are shows called Black Lightning and Black Panther, and even ones that claim all black cast. Not to mention black universities, and that's not racist; but if I add white to any of that, I'm the biggest racist out there. Why? Why do we need to add colour to it?"

"I think it gives people a safe space to go. Like women's shelters and female only gyms," Colin reasoned.

"Okay, but follow me here. I hear black people calling out people for being white and privileged. Isn't that racist? What if we just all accept each other for our differences. Even stupid ignorant people should be accepted. Perhaps with kindness and understanding, and an education and some Xanax, they'd be tolerable."

"I think everyone would agree with you. Unfortunately, that'll never happen. We'll continue to move forward, but as things become acceptable and normalized, there will be others who feel things are being taken away from them and want to be heard, and possibly fight back."

"Then we explain about equality, calm them down and move on. How come gays are accepted now, but black people are still fighting?"

"Depends on where you live. There are still plenty of countries when being gay is not only not accepted, but illegal, and you can be put to death.

"Let's leave those places off our travel plans," I suggested.

"No argument from me," Colin nodded. "Other countries are slower to adapt than others. Canada and the U.S. usually hear the arguments over an issue and eventually, through public pressure, discuss it and make a decision. Canada is quicker to adopt change, probably because of how our system works. The changes in the U.S. usually happen at a state level, which takes 50 times longer for the entire country to switch over."

"Like with gay marriage and weed?"

"Exactly. Our feds decided, discussed and made it legal. End of story. I mean there were arguments on both sides, but in the end, the right thing was done for society as a whole, and the world didn't end. I think we see it as something like if you aren't gay, you won't need a gay marriage, therefore it doesn't affect you personally. Same as weed. It's legal, not mandatory."

"Could you imagine? It is now mandatory that all Canadians smoke at least one gram of weed daily. News at 10, or 11, or whenever, dude!" I said in my best reporter voice. "Being stoned all the time would make me insanely horny."

"Justin," Colin said staring at me with those big blue eyes of his. "Leaves rustling in trees make you horny."

"True. Speaking of that...weren't we gonna grab the maple syrup and head to our room?"

For the record, I got the sex after we went to bed, but not the maple syrup. You can tell Colin still has some American in him. Actually, he had some Canadian in him too. ME! Damn I'm hilarious when you really think about it.

The next day, Blake and Darcy arrived home together. Darcy paused at the door as soon as he saw me, then turned around and went back outside.

"Hey! Where are you going?" Blake yelled as he ran after him. Moments later, a naked Darcy re-entered the house with Blake behind him. "I forgot about your challenge," Blake grinned as he pulled off his own shirt. "I like it."

"Good job. How's it feel?" I asked.

"I feel funny getting naked before I come in. Like it's wrong or something."

"When it no longer feels like that, that's how you know you're ready to take the next step."

"Facing the bullies?" He asked, remembering what we'd talked about.

"No. Going to the mall naked," I joked.

"No way! I'd get arrested, or at the very least thrown out for life," he said quickly.

"Actually, the next step will be to take you back to the Academy on the weekend; and have you walk around naked there. Introduce you to all the boy so they get to know you. I'll be looking for you to make some of the first moves, but I guarantee you'll make a lot of new friends almost immediately."

"I doubt I'd be that popular. Going there and just being naked might be a bit more than I could handle right now," he said hesitantly.

"I'll go with you," Blake offered excitedly. "Every guy there is friendly. I know most of them pretty well. I can let you know who would be best to have sex with," he bragged with a grin.

"Shocker," I jested. "With the Academy being a school, it'll also help set the stage for eventually coming out at your own school."

"I don't think they'd be cool with me stripping naked and wandering the halls at my school," he said making a small joke.

"How do you know? You'd definitely get noticed, and I can almost guarantee the bullies would never pull down your shorts again." I ended that part of our conversation as the vision of it all would roam around in his head for weeks. "Come over here," I said motioning him closer. Blake took the opportunity to get out of the rest of his clothes and bounce over to join us.

I reached up and took hold of Darcy's package. "Never be afraid to let this get hard around someone. I know at school they make fun of guys with boners, but every guy gets them and it's nothing to be ashamed of. Personally I see it as a sign that the guy is horny as hell and in need of getting laid. That's how you should be; hard and horny all the time," I smiled as I stroked his dick, feeling it begin to swell in my hand. I could see his nervousness begin, which seemed stupid to me considering that we'd all had sex together before. Why be nervous? Blake was watching closely, and now had one hand around his own cock and the other on Darcy's ass cheek.

"In case you were wondering why we're late...some kid at school stopped to talk to me and I couldn't get away. I think he's either trying to date me, or get information about being gay. Not sure," Blake said making small talk.

"Is he gay?" I asked.

"No idea. But straight guys don't usually randomly stop you to talk about nothing while they stare at you. I'll find out if he's gay after I bring him home and get his legs over his head."

Darcy laughed. "God, I would love to learn how you do that so easily. If any guy came up to talk to me at random, I'd be sure I was being set up for something bad. You see it as an opportunity to get him into bed."

"It's all about the confidence," I reminded him. "That's what we're working on. One day, you'll be taking guys home."

"Not my home I won't. Imagine what would happen if I got caught with a naked boy in my room. I'd be buried under the house by my step-dad."

"Lots of other places to take guys if you don't want your parents to know," Blake offered. "The woods, construction site after hours, public bathroom...although that's more for a quickie. There are a few quiet beaches too. That's always nice as the sand is soft. I also know a few stairwells that aren't used too."

I looked at him quizzically.

"What? I know places. You don't think I bring everyone home for you to drool over, do you? Nope. Some of them I try out first before I introduce them to this house of horny."

"It's only the house of horny when you're home. The rest of us can control ourselves," I retorted.

"Says the guy who has my friend get naked outside before he's allowed in, and is now holding his dick. Surprised you didn't just bend him over the stairs to fuck him as soon as he entered."

"Blake, it's not about sex. It's about gaining confidence. As I told Darcy, once he sees himself as a good-looking guy that people actually like, he'll become more enthusiastic about meeting more people. Eventually getting a variety of friends from a best friend, to friends with benefits, and eventually a boyfriend."

"He already has me as a friend... and with benefits. I mean look at this ass, who couldn't benefit from being in there?" He giggled as he leaned back to check out Darcy's bum. I let go of Darcy's penis which was now pointing up at a 45 degree angle, and as hard as marble. That seven inches without pubes looks much larger than it did before, and was quite the show piece on his small frame.

"Blake, I think your friend is a little horny. He could probably use one of your blowjobs," I suggested.

"Hey. You caused it, maybe you should be the one to blow him and take care of it," he clapped back teasingly.

"Are you saying you DON'T want to blow him? Fine..." I said as I pulled Darcy forward and opened my mouth.

Blake shook his head and pulled Darcy back by the hand. "I've got this. Come on Darcy, let's go downstairs and take care of that thing before we get to karate."

The boys disappeared downstairs, still holding hands, and all I could see was two cute, very different looking, asses running away. Blake had more of a round bubble butt, whereas Darcy had that small open ass where you could see between his cheeks to his hole. That drove me crazy every time I saw it. If that boy would sit on my lap, and by lap I mean erection, I'd have him stay there until I finished reading him War and Peace. I went to decide on what we should have for dinner. So many choices, so little interest in cooking. Either I should take cooking classes or we should hire a chef to make us meals. I wonder if any of those celebrity TV chefs need a second gig.

Ben and Razor showed up to help me a short while later. "You guys still getting along well?" I asked as we prepared lasagne and salad. It's so time consuming. You have to take the lasagne out of the box, remove the top cover and put it in the oven for like an hour. AN HOUR! I mean I could drive to restaurant, order lasagne, eat it and be home before the crap in the oven was done. How is this efficiency? The salad was easier. You just open the bag and dump it in the bowl. It already has everything mixed in with it. Radishes, little pea pods, shredded carrot, purple stuff, and of course the lettuce. The only thing you gotta do is put out the assortment of salad dressings. I like to put out separate bowls for salad instead of just dumping it on the plate with the hot food. Make us feel more society-like, and less trailer park.

"We're doing great together," Razor replied. "Even my parents approve of Ben. They say he's good for me. Helps that he's wicked smart too. He helps the kids with their homework a lot and they love it when he's over."

"You wanna tell him?" Ben smiled.

Razor gave a big smile as he grabbed Ben's right hand and lifted them both up. They were wearing matching rings.

"You're married?" I asked feigning shock as I joked.

"Wrong hand. We're officially boyfriends."

"Congratulations. I figured it wouldn't take long for that to happen. You're good together. Are you guys monogamous?"

"We will be for a while until the newness of being together wears off, but we both think partying in a group is fun."

"Nice. I should take you both upstairs and give you a congratulatory fuck. I'm happy for you."

Ben looked at Razor. "Justin doesn't understand monogamy. It's one of those words he just can't hear. Like a dog whistle."

"That's so rude," I said frowning slightly. "I can so hear dog whistles."

They both laughed. I don't see what's so funny. All I said was I was going to fuck them to show I approved of their relationship. "Do your parents know that you're boyfriends, or do they think you're just friends?"

"No, they know. They're cool like that," Razor replied. "As long as we're happy, that's all they care about. Well, that and the sex thing. They gave us a talk about being responsible, and not doing it in the house around my siblings. Plus when Ben sleeps over we can't sleep in the same bed."

"Good parenting. We have the same rules for Ben & Blake. They don't follow them, but the rules are still there regardless."

They both laughed. "That's good," Razor replied. "Because I'm sleeping over Saturday night."

"I'll bring the popcorn and video camera," I nodded with a smile.

Ben looked at Razor. "You think he's kidding...he's not. We may need to stop by Home Depot and get those security locks for the bedroom door. Personally, I don't mind if you want to watch and film. Just remember, we're monogamous."

"Excellent. I'll bring the lube in case you guys need a pinch hitter for a few rounds," I said as I checked on the lasagna. It still looked frozen to me. I should order pizza while we wait for it to cook.

"I told you he doesn't hear monogamous. Dinner will be in an hour, I take it?" Ben asked looking at me.

"Yep. Around there. You staying, Razor?"

"If there's enough. Sure. Thanks," he replied politely.

"Tons. We always have more food than we can eat. I mean you never know who's going to drop by."

"He means you, stomach," Ben teased.

"Hey! I don't eat that much. Not unless I've been working out or something. Then I build up an appetite," he replied defensively.

"Then let's go work up an appetite. You're on top to start," he said as they took off up the back stairs. Ben's been a lot happier since those two hooked up. Ben may be good for Razor, but that's also working the other way around too. Plus, come on. Those two are seriously cute together. I keep meaning to look up monogamous. If that shit is contagious, we should take precautions. We can have an epidemic if it breaks out. I need to find out what causes it and see if we can find a cure, or at least a vaccine. Would having your penis wearing a mask help? These are things only the Onion' or the Beaverton' can give good recommendations on.

I saw Blake and Darcy race upstairs after their workout. I'm guessing they still have a little energy to burn off. This is terrific. I'm the only one home not having sex. I think in the 80's this is where the guy went to his rolodex and found some guy to call over. Now we just tell Siri who we want and she connects us up together. That bitch knows what's up, yo.

Colin arrived home and I made an over emphasized point of running over to hug and kiss him. Don't need Siri now. My man is home and looking all stressed from work. I have the perfect cure for that...lasagna! What? You thought I was gonna say sex? What kind of guy do you think I am? I'll wait for him to be full of food and start to get sleepy. THEN, I'll bounce on him. Less chance of him saying no if he's tired. You just take him upstairs, get him out of his clothes, throw him on the bed and go to work on relieving his stress. Professional tip for gay guys. If you want to have sex for hours, feed your partner turkey before you play. The tryptophan will send him into a relaxed state of mind, and you can bone him without even needing him to fully participate. You're welcome!

"How was your day?" I asked as I kept hugging him.

"Great. Lots of exciting projects on the go. I can see how your day went," he laughed. I looked down to see if I had a boner I couldn't feel or something.

"How?" I asked frowning curiously.

"Well, you're all giddy at having me home, so I'm guessing there's at least one or more sexual things went on, or are going on, that you weren't invited to so now you're feeling left out, and horny."

"That's so not true...Well, okay it's true, but I didn't go play because I'm cooking supper and I knew you'd be home soon. I wanted to save all my horny for you."

"So, weren't invited huh? Who?"

"Darcy and Blake. Ben and Razor," I said pretending to pout. He leaned in to kiss me and pat my ass.

"I can always tell honey. ALWAYS. What's for dinner? Other than you."

"Lasagne and salad. Made it all from scratch."

"And by scratch you mean?"

"I took it out of the packages and got it all ready. Ben and Razor helped."

He laughed loudly. "You took lasagna and salad out of their packages, AND you needed two other guys to help with that? I love how domesticated you've become, baby. I expect to see you on Celebrity Chef next season."

"When are the auditions?" I smiled knowing he was teasing, but why let him win? "Speaking of that, you think there are any chefs that might like to work for us? We could come home to gourmet meals every day."

"I'm sure we could hire one, but would you really want that? Every day having to sit down to a formal meal at a very specific time with everyone having to confirm their attendance so we have the right amount of food prepared," he said pointing out the flaw in my plan.

"Never thought if it like that. Maybe we should have one day a week where we all get together and have a meal prepared for us."

"Now THAT idea I like. Let's ask the guys what day works for them for a family dinner and lock it in. We can arrange for a chef to come each week."

"Cool. I think I have the perfect chef for the job," I said proudly.

"Let me guess. The Naked Chef? You do know he's not actually naked, right?"

"Oh, never mind then. I'll check for someone else. Of course he won't be able to prepare a meal like I do, but at least we won't have to cook for hours one day a week."

"No one can prepare a meal like you do," Colin agreed, confirming my strongly held belief. "And since when do you cook for hours?"

"Uh hello! Today the lasagna took an hour. AN HOUR. I have orgies that don't take that long."

"And you're bragging about that?" Colin teased as we sat down in the kitchen. "You should make sure when you hire a chef that you also hire someone to clean up after him. I've seen how chef's cook. They use every pan in the house and toss them in the sink. It could take a week to clean it all up, so I recommend a clean up crew too."

"On it. I figure the catering company can handle that. They can serve and clean up. A little sophistication around here wouldn't hurt, plus a lot of those waiters are seriously cute. Who knows what sort of services they may provide after dinner."

"And there goes the sophistication," Colin laughed. We let the house know dinner was ready. Ben and Razor appeared first, saying hi to Colin and sitting down at the table. Darcy and Blake appeared next, still naked, and getting a big smile from the other two. I suggested that they go get dressed for dinner. I guess it wouldn't really be fair to have Darcy stay naked at the table when everyone else was dressed.

I was surprised when Troy appeared dragging a boy along behind him. "Hey. We heard there was food. Is there enough for us?"

"Always," I replied and they sat down.

"This is Kalen. He's in my film studies class. We're working through a silent film project."

"Who has to be quiet? You or him?" Ben teased.

"The movie. We can talk, but the movie doesn't have sound except for a background music track and the place cards so you know what the actors are saying. Kinda fun actually. We're doing it in black and white like the old days, but we're teasing a bit of colour in on each scene. We might colorize and apple or a sign in a window, or some other very small, almost invisible item. It'll make the audience wonder of they actually saw it or not."

"Nice touch. Drive the viewers insane and make them come back again to check if they actually did see something in colour."

"That's the plan. Hopefully the professor will think it's creative," Kalen added.

"Is it just the two of you doing the film together, or do you need actors too?" Blake asked sitting up to be noticed.

Troy looked at Kalen and then at Blake. "We need actors and we were hoping to ask you and J.P since you already know the business. It'll give us more credibility if we use real actors."

"Are we paying paid scale or should I have my agent negotiate a contract?"

"It's pro bono."

"That's cool too. I'll tell J.P. when he gets home," Blake said with a big smile.

"You know what pro bono means?" Colin asked to be sure.

"Of course. It means he'll have sex with us instead of paying us. Pro boner. I'm a professional actor...a pro. And it's we'll have erections...boners. Pro-boner," he said confidently. "I'm thinking like one hour of sex for each day we work. I'm cool with that, and I know J.P. will be too."

Troy laughed. "Pro boner. I can live with that."

"Are you and Kalen just partners for the project?" Razor inquired.

"I'm guessing you're asking if we have sex?" Troy clarified.

"Just wondering."

"He basically wants to know if you're community property, or exclusive to Troy," Ben clarified.

"He's straight. I'm still hoping he'll let me blow him before this is over, but with straight boys you gotta go slower so you don't scare them," he said as he looked at Kalen with a cheesy grin.

"In my defence I said I'd sleep with him if we got an A on the film," Kalen replied, giving an even sillier grin.

"You know what that means," Troy clarified. "When a straight boy says he'll sleep with you, it means he comes over has a few beers and passes out in your bed. I'm talking out of your clothes, wide awake. Pro boner stuff. Your boner, my boner, etc. But the chances of that happening are almost zero. The professor is famous for never giving A's on anything."

"Really?" Kalen asked fake shock and surprise. "I never knew that."

"You're the one who told me, asshole."

The rest of us laughed before Colin moved to the conversation to someone else. "How're Yukon and Cade? I haven't seen Cade around here in a while."

"He joined some new youth group," Razor replied. "They do a lot of activities together so it keeps him pretty busy. My parents like that he's involved as he's making a lot of new friends."

I already knew that his `youth group' was the Junior Q and they definitely had a lot of activities. More than the main Q. I guess thirteen-year-olds don't have a lot of the same time constraints that adults do. I think since Cade learned that there were hundreds of guys around his age that were like him, he'd really embraced it and gotten as involved as he could.

"Yukon is still the same. Gaming most of the time. He's been teaching Titan and Storm how to play."

"Titan is the youngest? Six if I remember correctly, and Storm is the ten-year-old?" I asked to clarify.

"Right. Good memory. Half the time I just call them dude, so I don't have to remember all their names," he smirked.

"Funny. That's what we should do around here. So many guys coming and going."

"Usually cumming, then going," Ben laughed. "Tell the guys our news, Razor."

They both held up their hands to show off their rings.

"You got married?" Troy said, almost mimicking my exact reaction earlier.

"That's not their ring finger," Blake noted. "They're probably just engaged."

"It's a boyfriend ring. We're boyfriends," Ben clarified. "Officially together and monogamous."

"That's terrible!" Blake blurted out.

"Huh?" Ben said staring at his brother.

"Not the boyfriend thing. That's cool. Congrats. Razor is an awesome guy."

"Thanks Blake," Razor said smiling.

"I meant the monogamy thing. That's so bad. I like having sex with you guys. Now I won't be able to unless you're stoned or drunk or something, and you forget."

"We just think it makes sense to be monogamous at first while we're getting to know each other. No pressure to share ourselves with anyone else. Probably won't be forever, and if I know you, you'll sneak in at night and crawl into bed with us anyway. You're like Justin. You don't truly accept that monogamy is a thing."

"It's not. It's a fad. Like being vegan or straight. No one can do any of things forever," Blake said bluntly looking at Kalen with a smile. "Razor, after dinner you want a beer and a joint? We could go hang out in the maze."

"Blake!" Ben laughed. "See. Told you."

"What? You can come along. Kalen too. I share."

"And what about me? I just stay here by myself?" Troy asking giving him a pout.

"I didn't want to make you jealous by going down on Kalen before you did, but you can come watch if you want," Blake said continuing his confident teasing.

"I really am straight, Blake," Kalen interjected. "Even with weed and beer, I wouldn't be into it. Well, maybe after a LOT of weed and beer, but it'd have to be with Troy since he asked first."

"So how much weed and beer exactly?" Troy grinned. "We have a whole pot garden out back."

"Just so you know, Kalen," Ben said to him. "Around gay guys, first to ask doesn't mean anything. It's who has the moves and the confidence to get you out of your clothes that gets the action."

Kalen laughed again. "Then by those parameters, it's still Troy. He got me out of my clothes to go swimming."

"Did you go skinny dipping?" Razor asked.

"Yeah. First time doing that," he admitted.

"Fun isn't it? I almost never want to wear a suit anymore when I swim. People look at me funny if I do it at the public pool though."

"Are you going swimming later? Me and Darcy could join you," Blake said trying to look innocent, but coming across as more evil than anything.

"No, we need to focus on writing our film script," Troy replied quickly.

"Fine, but next time you go swimming, call me."

"Not a chance. Next time we go swimming we're going to check your location and schedule to make sure you're not home."

"I'll have ADAM call me as soon as he knows you are swimming," Blake countered.

"Who's Adam?" Kalen asked.

"Automated system that looks after the house," Troy said without elaborating.

Blake just gave a knowing smile and glanced up. "ADAM, say hi to Kalen."

"Hello Kalen," the automated voice said.

"Is it like a Siri thing?" Kalen asked.

"Better," Blake replied. "ADAM send Blake a text when you notice Troy going swimming with another person. Blake authorization 7a." The ding sounded. "There. Now you won't be able to swim without me knowing about it. I'll see you naked yet, my pretty!" he said in his evil witch voice.

"ADAM, cancel request to send Blake a text when Troy goes swimming," Troy said in response.

"Authorization override required," ADAM responded.

"What's that mean?" Troy asked.

"When I told him Blake authorization 7a, it means he needs the password for that level before it can be changed or cancelled."

I laughed. "We should never have left Blake alone with ADAM. One of those two is going to take over and destroy us all one day."

"You know that all I need to do is go to the pool level a hundred times a day and you'll get never ending texts," Troy told him.

"Yeah, but it'll only do that if you're with someone else," Blake reminded him. "Of course, if Kalen is a good friend, he could just let me see him naked and I'll cancel it."

"Okay, Blake. You've had your fun. Stop pestering Troy and Kalen," Colin said to bring things to a stop before it got any further out of hand. I think he could have at least waited until Kalen had gotten out of his clothes. I'll speak to him about showing up at the bad timing awards later. "ADAM, cancel monitoring of pool area and all requests that go with it."

"Authorization required," ADAM responded.

"Colin Alpha 1 voice recognition."

"Authorization accepted." The ding sounded.

"Hey! No fair!" Blake complained.

"You seriously thought that I wouldn't have a master override?" Colin laughed. "I'm just not that stupid Blake. I know how much you like to test ADAM's limits so I figured one day you'd try a lock out attempt."

"Well played, Mr. Sir! But our game is still afoot!"

After dinner, Darcy headed home while Troy and Kalen retreated back to his place to work on their film. Razor and Ben said they were off to hang out somewhere, leaving Blake with Colin and myself. He plopped down between us on the couch. "Can you two scooch over? I need some wiggle room."

"Or you could sit in the chair over there. How do you know we weren't just about to make out?"

"Gross. Old people kissing," he said sticking his tongue out and making a face like he was about to be sick. "I was thinking about Darcy. He's a cool guy and I think it's time for him to come out and get a boyfriend."

"Don't you think that should be up to him?" Colin asked as we listened to our son.

"Maybe, but I think he just needs help to get started. He's kind of an introvert so he usually needs a small push to help him try new things. Right Justin? You showed him that being gay was okay, and that if he worked on his confidence he'll have more fun. I think he's having more fun now, don't you?"

"I'd say he's come a long was since the first time I met him," I replied, thinking back to the suicidal kid I'd met not that long ago. "But don't push him too fast or too hard or he'll hit a brick wall and revert back to his less confident self."

"I understand, but here's my thought, and that's why I'm talking to you guys. Well, it's two thoughts actually. Just wanna know what you think. First, I thought I could offer to be Darcy's practice boyfriend. He could get used to being seen in public holding hands and stuff to see if he could do it. Maybe start slow and build up to being all flirty around each other."

"And your other idea?" Colin asked.

"Well since Darcy is not really out anywhere except here, and his parents are super homophobes, I figure he needs to have a boyfriend that would understand that. So I was thinking. What about Layne? He's pretty hot and he's also in the closet at school and home. They'd be perfect together."

"Do they like each other?" Colin asked.

"They don't really know each other that well yet, so I figured I'd invite them over one Saturday. They could get to know each other and we'd end the day with a three-way. Once it really got going, I'd sneak away and let them see how they got along one on one."

"Have they had sex together already?" I asked frowning slightly as I didn't remember Darcy mentioning it, and I figured he would have.

"No," Blake replied shaking his head. "But there's a first time for everything. They've both had sex with me, so it wouldn't feel weird to them if I started something, then slowly pushed the two of them together once we were all horny. I figure once I get them fucking each other, I leave them to it to become friends."

"Or...and just spit-balling here," I interjected. "Why not just invite them over to hang out and talk about the things they have in common and hint that they might make good friends."

"They do have a lot in common. Me for one!" He beamed. "Plus they're both nervous about being gay around parents or kids at school. I know Layne would like to learn karate, so Darcy could tutor him too. Both of them are circumcised so that's another thing they have in common. Oh, and they both have blue eyes. I think they'd be perfect for each other."

"Layne is much more outgoing and has a lot more sex experience than Darcy," I reminded him. "Maybe Darcy should start off with someone closer to his own abilities."

"Dad, remember the bird in the hand thing? Both Layne and Darcy want boyfriends one day, so I figure even if they're not meant to be with each other forever, let them at least hook up and try it out. I already told Darcy that one day, when he's ready, I'll walk to school with him holding hands."

"First, don't hold your breath for that anytime soon. That's quite a leap for a kid still worried about bullies. Second, you'd actually walk to school?" I asked jokingly.

"No! I meant I'd walk him into school...from the car. Then kiss him at his locker. Maybe slap his ass. Make it a whole coming out thing."

"I liked the idea of letting him do it slowly when he's comfortable. Forcing him out at school is NEVER a good idea," Colin advised. "From what I've seen of them, I agree that Layne and Darcy might be good together. They both would understand what the other is going through, so it would give them some commonality as a place to start a friendship. Maybe let them take their first steps naturally and not force it."

"Cool. So we're in agreement. I'll hook Darcy and Layne up together and see where it goes. The way I figure it is once they cum in each other, they'll wanna be boyfriends."

"You do know that if you succeed in getting them together, there's a chance they might want to be monogamous, like Ben and Razor are doing."

"Maybe, but that wouldn't include me. I've already had sex with both of them, so it's not like they'd say I couldn't anymore."

"Just be prepared for it. It's possible that a guy like Darcy is only having sex with different people because he sees it as a way of being accepted. You may find that once he has a boyfriend, something he definitely wants, that that might be enough for him and it's not necessary to hook up with others," I told him.

"Funny Dad. Nah, he'll still want sex with me too. I mean they'd still be my friends, so it's only natural that we'd fool around together. Thanks for the talk. I'll go set up their first date."

He bounced off with renewed energy to accomplish his task.

"Odds of success?" Colin asked looking at me.

"It's not a bad idea actually. I've thought of getting the two of them together myself. I think it has merit that they're at the same place in relation to coming out. Not sure they want their friends to know. Definitely don't want their parents to find out, but both ready for a relationship of some sort."

"And Blake as the one to put them together?"

"Would make for an interesting book," I laughed. "I loved his thought process. Put them in a three-way as a way to get to know each other faster, then leave them to it. That sounds like a move I'd make."

"Except you wouldn't leave," Colin said as he moved over to hug me.

"True. That would seem rude. I would take pictures of them together though...you know...for the wedding album."

I figured Blake would go work on plans and then he'd find something else to occupy his time, so I put the thought out of my head. It didn't stay out of there for long. The next day after school, Darcy texted me to ask if I could pick him up. I was a little surprised, but agreed to go get him.

"Everything okay?" I asked when he got in the car.

"Yeah. Blake invited me over and I thought maybe we could spend time together before that."

"Sounds fun to me. I'm glad Blake and you are getting along. I think you've really gained some confidence lately."

"Thanks. Yeah, I like watching how he does things. He doesn't seem to give a shit about what people think. He just does what he wants."

"Isn't that the truth," I laughed.

"Ummm...I wanted to ask you something. Like get your opinion and stuff," he said sounding a little nervous.

"Ask away," I encouraged.

"Blake offered to be a temporary boyfriend until I got a permanent one. He said it would be a good way to practice and get comfortable being more out. I don't know if that's a good idea though. What do you think?"

"I think that calling each other boyfriends, even temporarily, is a bad idea. Emotion and feelings are hard to turn on and off like that. If you've never had a relationship before, then having a fake one might do more harm than good at this point."

"Yeah, that's what I thought, but wasn't sure how to say anything. I know Blake is super out and likes both girls and boys, but I don't know if I'd be okay holding hands in public with him. He kind of attracts a lot of attention, and I don't think I'm ready for that."

I laughed gently. "Yeah, he's definitely one to cause a scene. Not that it's bad for his personality, but for you, I think you need someone more reserved. Someone who is equally nervous about being out in public. Maybe someone you can be boyfriends with in private and just friends in public." Yeah, I know what I'm doing. I'm setting him up to fall into Blake's boyfriend three-way trap. Sue me.

"But not with Blake, right?"

"That will always be up to you, but personally, I don't think that's a good move. You need to develop your own friendship and relationship, not have a fake one that messes with your emotions."

"What about sex? I mean Blake and me have done it together, like you and me did, but only as friends. Is it different as a boyfriend?"

"Honestly, yes. Casual sex is just that...casual. You hook up to get off and nothing else. When it's your boyfriend, you do it for the love and emotion and all the feelings that go with it. It's a very different feeling, and one I hope you'll experience soon. I guess the big question you need to ask yourself is do you want a boyfriend?"

"It's all I think about sometimes. I wanted friends and to be able to come out, and I've started that thanks to you, Blake, and the guys at the house. I keep seeing guys with their girlfriends at school and think about how nice it would be to have someone that was just there for me. A best friend that was all mine to love."

I smiled. "That's the right approach. Become each other's best friends and when it's time to make love, you're into each other and the world disappears."

"Yeah. That's what I want. Think I'll ever get to that point? I guess it would mean coming out to everyone though if I wanted it to be for real, huh?"

"You come out at your own pace and to people you trust. No reason to fling the closet doors open and come out singing show tunes. Just let it happen naturally. If you get outed by someone, then stand tall and proud and own it. NEVER let bullies use that as an excuse to put you down."

"I'm working on it. Wish I had Blake's confidence."

"You do. Deep down inside...you do. When the time is right, it'll surface and you'll be the man you see in your head."

"Awesome! I'm gonna be six foot two, two hundred pounds, built like a superhero, and of course a ten-inch dick."

"Of course," I laughed. "Call me if that happens and I'll be your boyfriend."

We arrived at the house and saw Kyle just heading downstairs. He waved hi as he disappeared.

Moments later, Blake and Layne came running up the stairs both in just their t-shirts and underwear.

"Hey!" Blake said greeting us. "You remember Darcy, right Layne?"

"Sure. I saw you in your karate outfit the first time I saw you. Hi Darcy!"

"Hi, Layne," Darcy replied nervously.

"Hi Dad!" Blake said coming over to give me a hug and surprisingly a kiss. Since when does he kiss me in front of his friends. I thought he was too old for that now. "We were just about to go to the sauna and steam room, but then Kyle said you guys had arrived. Layne had a sore back so we were gonna use the heat to help it."

"Sorry to hear that. You okay?" I asked looking at Layne.

"Yeah, just bent weird exercising, so my muscles are stiff."

Blake laughed as he grabbed his new friend by the crotch. "Not this muscle though. That one will get stiff later."

Darcy blushed. He may have more confidence, but he was still the same shy guy, not used to how extroverts talk.

"Well, the sauna and steam room won't help that muscle get less stiff. For that you need the cold pool," I joked.

"We know. We'll use that after the heat. Then me and Darcy are going to give Layne karate lessons."

"Do I get one of those cool suits?" Layne grinned.

"I'd give you one of mine, if you want," Blake offered. "I already started the sauna and steam room, so they should be hot enough by now."

"Nothing worse than sitting in a cold tiled room waiting for it to heat up," I nodded.

"No shit, right. You joining us Dad?"

"I could for a bit, but then I'll leave you guys to the karate lesson."

We headed downstairs where Blake was the first to take off his shirt and drop his underwear. Layne followed his lead and they rushed into the steam room first.

"Ready?" I asked looking at Darcy.

"Sure," he said sounding mildly apprehensive as he took off his clothes and folded them onto a nearby chair. I undressed and followed him in. Blake and Layne were sitting on the upper level next to each other.

"Dude! You're seriously hot!" Layne gushed. "You should leave your clothes off more often!"

"Thanks," Darcy replied quietly.

"That's right. I guess you guys haven't seen each other naked before have you?" I said as we sat down next to them.

"No, but I'm thinking I missed out. Damn, you're wicked cute," Layne said as his eyes thoroughly scanned every inch of Darcy's body.

"Personally, I think you're both cute," I smiled.

"And what about me?" Blake asked folding his arms.

"What about you what? You're tolerable."

"Tolerable huh? You told Layne I was cute. Remember?"

"Acute pain in my ass...remember?" I mocked. He flipped me a finger.

"You two should get to know each other. I think you might have a lot in common," I said to Layne and Darcy.

"Yeah? Like what?" Layne asked.

"You're both 16. You're both cute...and ummm...well you're both naked with the best looking asses anywhere."

"Is that a basis for a friendship?" Darcy asked, trying not to stare at the boys.

"Don't see why it wouldn't be," I answered. "Actually, you do have other things in common though. You both have parents at home that say they wouldn't be comfortable with a gay son.

"That's an understatement," Layne commented quickly. "More like crazy parents who think gay kids have a mental disorder."

"Could be worse...Your Dad could be violent and want to kill all gay guys, like mine."

"Ouch. That does sound way more harsh," Layne agreed.

"But you're both dealing with it in your own way. Coming out slowly to friends and experimenting with things. Maybe you could share experiences with each other. That's a basis to start a friendship."

"That'd be cool," Layne smiled as he sat back and opened his legs a bit to expose more of himself to everyone. As if we haven't all seen him. Well, all of us except Darcy.

"I should go get us some water. You guys want any?" I suggested.

"Sure, yes please," Darcy replied.

"Me too. Thanks!" Layne added.

"I'll come help you Dad," Blake offered as I got up to leave. We headed out and quickly dried the steam off before heading up to the kitchen to get some bottled water.

"Nice setup Dad, but I can take it from here," Blake grinned as he waited for me to get the water out of the fridge. "Don't you think they'd be good as boyfriends?"

"Actually, I do. I think they'd complement each other nicely."

"Who gives a shit if they give each other compliments?" Blake said shaking his head. "All that matters is whether they like fucking each other."

"Not compliment like `oh you have such pretty eyes'," I said in a female voice. "Complement as in they each have something to bring to the relationship to benefit the other."

"Oh. I thought you meant like `you have really big balls, wanna drain them into my ass, cutie?" he giggled. "You think they've had enough time to get to know each other yet?"

"It'll be interesting to see. Darcy's pretty shy, while Layne isn't. Any bets on how they're getting along?"

"I think Layne will have checked Darcy out, started interrogating him about his life, and made comments that got them both hard. Darcy will be hiding his while Layne's is flying free," Blake guessed with a grin. He knew his friends well. That would be my guess too. I think they might have made a first move together if they knew we weren't returning in a couple minutes.

Just before we re-entered the steam room, Blake stopped and looked at me. "If they haven't started anything with each other yet, we should just show them how it's done."

"We should huh?"

"Yeah. Follow my lead and don't be all parenty about it."

Parenty? What exactly does that look like? We entered the steam room to find Darcy was sitting on the lower level in front of Layne getting a shoulder massage while they talked. Both had erections, but seemed to be ignoring them. While Layne had his legs open almost up against Darcy's head. Darcy had his legs closed with an arm only partially obscuring his penis.

"Pretty close," Blake said quietly as he sat beside Layne and handed him the water. I gave Darcy the other bottle I had and sat on the other side of Layne.

"What's close?" Layne asked.

"I almost dropped the drinks," Blake replied quickly. "Looks like you two are getting along."

Layne grinned. "Darcy's a pretty cool guy. Sounds like his school sucks more than mine, but at least he doesn't have to live in two different houses, like me and my brother do when our parents are away."

"You two should be boyfriends," Blake announced bluntly with his usual subtle approach to life. "Neither of you have one."

"I'd be up for a boyfriend," Layne smiled and nodded. "What about you, Darcy?"

"I dunno. I never even had friends before Blake, so I'm not sure how to have a boyfriend."

"It's easy dude. You do normal guy stuff together, like regular friends, and when you're horny, you hook up. We're gonna end up having sex together as soon as we're done karate, so that'd be a good opportunity to see if you get along. Once you 69 for a while and try out each other's cocks, you'll know whether you'd be good as boyfriends, or just casual fuck buddies," Blake said continuing his direct approach to relationship building.

"Ahhh...Blake's guide to the universe," I sighed as I sat back chuckling at him. "And to think I'm going to school to learn psychology, well all I needed was to listen to Blake."

"That's what I been telling you, dude!" He said slapping me on the knee. "We should go hit the pool, and then the sauna before we are totally poached in here," he said changing the subject. The next thing I knew we were running across the deck and jumping into the cold pool. Jesus, that kills any sex drive in an instant. We splashed around for a couple minutes before moving to the dry sauna which was brutally hot. Arizona desert hot; where you breathe, and the hair in your nose burns. We could only stay in there for a couple minutes before we were baked dry and had to leave. The four of us ended up in the hot tub which was more relaxing than the cold pool, but not as hot as the other two rooms.

Blake hitched up on the side of the hot tub, and adjusted himself. "Who wants this first?" he laughed. "Darcy? Maybe you guys wanna share it? It's big enough for two."

"Blake. Just once can you please not be a pain in the ass? Wait...I heard that as soon as I said it. How about you focus on Layne's first karate lesson and tell him what he needs to know. Let a friendship build naturally."

Both Layne and Blake looked at me as if I'd been possessed by aliens. Okay, maybe it was a bit hypocritical of me to say that, but I'm trying a psychology type approach, instead of a gay guy approach. In my real world brain, I personally think Blake is right. They should go up and fuck each other stupid until they're either best friends or realize they're not compatible for a relationship.

Darcy followed Blake's lead by hitching up onto the side of the hot tub. That in itself was a bit of a milestone, as normally he'd hide in the water until the last possible moment. Layne almost licked his lips as he moved and sat between Darcy's legs and leaned back. Darcy returned the shoulder massage that Layne had given him earlier. Blake just grinned as if he'd won something while he watched. Of course, he didn't just sit there. He reached over and took hold of Darcy's dick and began playing with it. When his friend was good and hard, he wiped the tip of pre-cum and licked his finger clean.

"Have you had sex before, Darcy?" Layne said turning slightly, now getting Darcy's erection into his peripheral vision. I thought Blake had made that clear earlier, but I guess Layne was just finding a way to make small talk.

"Ummm...some," he replied.

"Cool. How many guys have you been with?"

"Uhhhh..." he stammered.

"Maybe Darcy would be more comfortable having this kinda conversation in private, rather than with us around," I suggested.

"No...I'm okay," Darcy said looking at me. "I'm just not used to talking like this. Mostly you get used to denying stuff around guys."

"That's so true," Layne agreed.

"Nah, not around us," Blake said quickly. "We enjoy talk like this. Shit, first day I met Layne, I fucked his ass off a couple times. Barely even remembered his name."

"I know. I was here when you met," Darcy commented as Layne turned a bit further and was just inches from Darcy's hard cock that Blake had created.

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that. You musta thought we knew each other and were just tricking you," Layne laughed. "Gotta admit...that's the best way to meet someone. Have you and Blake fooled around?"

Darcy stared over him to look at me. I smiled and nodded at him. "Uh, yeah. I tried stuff with him," he admitted.

"Did you and Justin play too?" Layne asked keeping up the interrogation.

"Uhhh... he explained about being gay so I'd know what I was doing," he admitted.

"But I'm better, right?" Blake bragged.

No one answered him, so by their silence we have our answer anyway...I'm better. Just another thing for my business card. `Justin Masters, Brilliant and Talented Psychologist. Better than a 14-year-old.' I might even make that the plaque on my door.

"If you two are going to be friends, you should probably be cool with sex together," Blake suggested.

"You do know all friends don't have sex with each other, right?" I said looking at him.

"Good one Dad! Gay friends do," Blake reasoned. He might not be wrong about that.

"Maybe we can hit the pool to cool down and then go do some karate?" Darcy suggested suddenly.

"I'll leave you boys to it. Call me if you need anything," I said as I stepped out of the hot tub and grabbed a towel. I dried off and headed upstairs. About 45 minutes later, Blake appeared upstairs and came over to me. "How's the karate lesson going?"

"Great. Layne is really picking it up fast."

"And are the guys getting along?"

"Definitely. I mean I haven't gotten them to fuck each other or anything, but they're talking about tons of stuff. It's like they're already friends. Wanna come down and see some of the moves Layne's learned?"

I headed down to the games room behind Blake and almost laughed when I saw Darcy and Layne both still naked in the middle of the mat, ready to try another move. Darcy moved in slowly as he showed Layne the mechanics of how to accomplish it and then Layne tried it. It was like watching a movie at the wrong speed.

"I guess you really do have to earn the gi in karate. Wonder if all lessons start naked," I joked with the boys.

"No, but we were already naked and it's good to practice like this once in a while. You can watch how your opponents body moves and see when he tenses up a muscle to make a move. You couldn't compete naked as you'd be able to guess the next move to easily," Blake replied. "Darcy and I were thinking that we should start a naked do-jo. I'm sure lots of guys would join that."

"More would join if there were women in the do-jo," I suggested.

"That would be really bad. First all the guys would have boners and second you wouldn't know where to grab a girl if her boobs are just hanging there. It wouldn't feel right to hit her, so they'd have an unfair advantage."

"Well, I'm pretty sure I'd have a boner if I walked into a do-jo filled with naked guys as cute as the three of you."

"Dad, we're not cute. That's for little kids. "We're stunning or remarkable or phenomenal..."

"or egotistical, narcissistic," I added.

"Layne, show Justin some of the moves you learned," Blake told him.

The boys showed off some of the things that they'd been working on in the past hour, and I do have to agree that Layne seems to have picked it up pretty fast. They took a break and had some water before sitting down near me.

"You guys decide if you wanna be friends?" Blake asked as things settled down.

"I'd say we're friends. We're getting along and have some similar shit to deal with," Darcy replied with surprising confidence. I guess I'm making a breakthrough.

"You wanna give the boyfriend thing a try," Layne asked, staring at Darcy, who seemed to have just frozen in place, looking nervous.

"I'm not really sure. I think having a boyfriend would be fun, but I'd be scared of someone seeing us."

"It's cool. I'm like that too. Blake said we should do what lots of guys do. Just be friends in public, but be boyfriends when we're alone in private."

"Or when they're over here," Blake added.

"You mean this place isn't private?" I asked smirking.

"Dad! Most of the time there're more people over here than on a Skytrain platform at rush hour. But at least they all like sex."

"Are you planning on being their boyfriend coach? Is that why you suggested coming over here for boyfriend `things'?"

"Everyone needs a life coach at times, Dad," he grinned. "So, are you guys now officially boyfriends?"

"Blake, how about letting them figure it out at their own speed. They just met and you're already on your way to planning the wedding."

"I am not!" He replied faking annoyance. "You prefer orchids or lilies as the center pieces?" he chuckled. "If you guys became boyfriends, would you still have sex with others?"

"Blake. Dial it down," I warned.

"This as low as the dial goes, Dad," Blake said giving me his `I know what I'm doing' look. "Guys, let's go shower and clean up. Maybe we can work on some of those friend benefits. Later Dad."

I know I should probably say some words of wisdom right about now, but I just didn't have any and just sat and watched as three cute butts ran out of the room.

A half hour later they re-appeared fully dressed in the kitchen. Those were some seriously short benefits, especially if they'd showered as well. Maybe it didn't go that well, or perhaps everyone came fast because they were too excited.

"How'd you like the karate lesson, Layne?" I inquired.

"I liked it. Not sure I'll ever be as good as Darcy, or Blake, but it was fun."

"Not as much fun as learning the friends with benefits thing," Blake announced.

"Yeah, but we're not gonna tell anyone that thought, right Blake?" Darcy said quickly. "We're all just friends as far as anyone knows. We'll go over to each other's houses to hang out, and just do regular guy stuff like video games, movies and sports. Not sex or kissing or anything like where others might catch us."

"Sounds like a good way to begin a friendship. No matter what Blake tells you, don't be in a rush. Just enjoy getting to know each other without the pressure of anything more. Layne, one thing I'd recommend is that you don't take Darcy over to your Uncle Steve's. That might not be the best environment to start your friendship."

"What's wrong with your uncle?" Darcy asked.

"Nothing, but Justin is right. We shouldn't introduce you to him. He'll have you stripped and flipped before the front door slams shut.."

"He's gay too?"

"I'll say. And he loves checking out all my friends...in detail.

"He's not wrong," Blake nodded. "First time I met him, I met ALL of him up close and personal."

"Wow. And you didn't know him? Did he know you were into guys?"

"Nope. Layne introduced us, and the next thing I'm ass up being drilled like an oil well."

"Yeah, I don't think I'd be okay with that. Does he do that every time someone goes over?"

"Not every time," Layne replied. "But usually he'll find a way to at least get everyone naked."

"Never seen an old guy do so much sex and not need a nap afterward. Justin passes out after cumming twice," Blake announced to insult me.

"That's a lie," I said defending myself. "I nap. Not pass out."

"Can you drive them home Dad, or should I call for a car?" Blake said as he brought the subject to an end

"I can drive them. No problem, but you're welcome to stay for dinner."

"It's cool. Layne is gonna come over to my house first. My parents will probably be happy that I finally have a friend. Might keep them from insulting me so much."

I smiled as I could see how excited Darcy was at the idea. From what he'd told me, he'd never had any friends go over before. This was a giant milestone for him. I doubted Layne would understand the importance of any of this right now. Maybe in time he will.

"We're a good team, Dad," Blake said after we'd dropped Darcy and Layne off at home.

"We are indeed. Why exactly?" I inquired.

"We did a good job of getting Layne and Darcy together. They are gonna be wicked hot boyfriends."

"If they get that far, I'd agree. Now just let it progress normally. Don't push them," I said warning him.

"I will."

"Did they actually get a chance to play together when you went upstairs? You weren't there very long."

"They didn't do much. Just blowjobs. I think they both liked each other though as they came so fast, I almost missed it. I didn't even get a chance to fuck them, that's how fast they were. I think they'll be at least awesome sex buddies, even if the boyfriend thing doesn't happen."

"I'm glad they had a chance to connect. You in the mood to stop for food?" I have to do something other than think about Darcy and Layne together. I hope I'm offered front row seats to their first fuck, as that could be a hot ticket show.

"Yeah. I'm starving. You know how it is when you've worked out, and then set up your friends for sex."

"No, not at all," I smirked. "I guess I'll have to reply on your expertise on that."

"Now, you're getting' it, Dad," he said smiling.

We stopped at Subway and I think it would have been quicker if they'd just given him a shovel and sat him at the counter to help himself. An hour later, he was in the kitchen helping Kyle and Chance cook dinner, acting like he hadn't eaten in a week.

Colin and I worked with Colleen to arrange another outing for Jimmy and Blake. This time we went with the suggestion to take them all out on the water, and asked Kyle if he'd mind being the captain. I was thinking of having him wear tiny little shorts and a leather harness with his captain hat, but that look might give the Campbell's a heart attack. Since that seemed like the right idea, I suggested it to Kyle, who quickly refused, saying something about how I needed help.

We offered to pick up the Campbells but they declined, saying they'd meet us at the marina instead. That was sort of expected, but at least we were showing we could walk the high ground. Colleen agreed to let us have this outing on our own to get better acquainted, which would be nice unless the Charles and Vanessa had another posse with them again. I was almost disappointed when they showed up alone with Jimmy. Once everyone was on board and settled, Kyle took us out on the water. He'd already stopped to fill the tanks and top up the water in case we needed it. Could you imagine getting caught in a storm and being stranded on an island with these people? It certainly wouldn't be Gilligan's Island; I can tell you that. More like Lord of the Flies. The boys were both in their lifejackets, to ensure we showed total safety, and raced to the upper deck to hang out with Kyle on the bridge.

"We read a lot about you online. Seems you are quite the businessman. What is it you're doing now that you sold off your property development?" Charles asked as we all sat in the mid deck lounge with a glass of wine. I'll go out on a limb here and say that even if we turned the ocean into wine, it wouldn't be enough to tolerate these people for very long.

"We arrange start up capital for new entrepreneurs," Colin replied giving him the short answer. "Then we provide space for them to develop their product and get it to market."

"So, you're basically a venture capitalist, where you take a cut of all profits?" He said sounding almost judgemental.

"We work in partnership with the business, yes. We also share in losses if they're not successful. It's not so much about the money for me; it's about helping people get their start. I was given that opportunity and it's nice to pay it forward."

"Does your homosexuality affect your business at all?" He asked candidly, and somewhat rudely if I were judging...and I am!

"Why would it?" Colin replied.

"Do your business partners and employees even know?"

Colin laughed. "It's not a secret. It's not like we all sit around talking about sexuality. It's a business, not a cruising area or therapy group."

I almost coughed. It's kind of a cruising area. A really hot cruising area if we're being honest, and as for his employees knowing...he's screwing plenty of them, so they probably know. Especially his assistant Adrian who has had more than one ride over the side of the boss's desk.

"From what we've read about you, you're a pretty ruthless business person," Charles added, obviously trying to get Colin to say something that he could use against us at a later date.

"How so?" Colin inquired as he took a sip of his drink.

"You force deals to benefit yourself and squeeze as much out the little guy as possible."

I almost choked again. That's certainly true. He squeezes my little guy to get as much out of it as possible.

"I guess you could look at business deal however you like, but at the end of the day, I look at two things. Will the deal make money for both parties, and is it fair? If both agree that it is and we sign off. That's not ruthless, that's just good business. I won't apologize for being successful, but I will say that I've never been sued for unfair practices or harassment of any kind. I'm pretty proud of that."

"I suppose you can make a lot of things disappear when you have money," Charles replied.

I looked over at the anchor and wondered if we'd brought duct tape along. I know something I'd like to make disappear.

The boys interrupted us as they bounced down from the upper deck. "We decided we'd like to go waterskiing first. Can we grab the stuff from below deck?" Blake asked.

"You know where it is. Bring up what you need. Is Kyle ready for you to ski?"

"Yeah, I just have to spot for him while John...uhhh...Jimmy is out."

"I dunno if that's a good idea. He's never waterskied before," Charles said. "Maybe the ocean isn't the best place to learn."

"Can't really learn in a bathtub or a public pool," Colin replied. "He'll be fine. We all learned out here. Nothing can happen to him. Even if he goes down, the life jacket will keep him above water."

"And if he goes down hard and knocks himself out? He could drown before we get back to him," Vanessa reasoned. They really just throw these ideas out as if they're begging us to act on them, don't they?

"If that happened, the lifejacket is designed to flip him over so his face is out of the water. But never seen a basic skier go down that hard yet."

"I can go first and show you how safe it is," Blake offered, with Jimmy by his side grinning excitedly.

"Or either of you are free to go out and try it for yourselves. It takes a bit to get up, but once you're out of the water, it's pretty easy," Colin told them.

"Are you sure you want to do this honey?" Vanessa asked Jimmy.

"Yeah. It's fun, Mom. I won't get hurt. Just wet."

"He'll be fine. I'd never do something to hurt my little brother, I promise," Blake said quickly, which gave rise to visible tension in both Campbells.

"We never thought," Colin said to them, "we should have suggested you bring your son Layne along. I'm sure he would have enjoyed this as well."

"We'd like to keep Layne out of all this for now. This situation has been traumatic enough for him. He's been acting very unlike himself. We may have to look at sending him to therapy."

"We're sorry to hear that," Colin replied, trying to sound sympathetic.

Is this the point at which I tell them I'd be happy to be his therapist? Let's see that shit fly. Splatter pattern all over their walls.

Blake and Jimmy took off to haul out the water-skis and tow rope. Once they got it to the deck, Blake secured the rope to the tow pole and showed Jimmy how to put the skis on. "I'll help you get them on once you're in the water. Once they're on, just sort of lean back and point the tips out of the water, then hold on. It might take a few times, but don't worry, you'll get the hang of it. Sometimes you lose your grip on the rope and fall backward. Other times your ski catches the water, and you face plant. Don't sweat it. Just float there until we turn around and come back to you. The lifejacket will keep you above the water."

"Are you sure?" He asked listening intently to Blake.

"Definitely. I'll show you," he said as he went to the ladder and climbed up a bit to yell at Kyle. "Kill the engine captain. I'm going overboard."

"Copy that!" Kyle yelled back and killed the engine, slowing us down instantly. Blake returned to Jimmy and they both walked to the back of the boat, where Blake stepped onto what I call the loading dock and leapt into the water without warning. I looked over the side and saw him pop up like a cork. He put his hands up in the air.

"See. You can't go under the water, even if you wanted to. Jump in and check it out," he yelled.

"Jimmy!" Vanessa yelled, as I tried not to laugh watching Jimmy leap overboard. I half expected her to yell man overboard and throw out the life saving ring. Just like Blake, he bobbed back up to the surface. They both just floated there as we all looked over at them.

"See, they totally work!" Jimmy grinned as they swam back to the boat. I tossed them both a towel as they climbed back on board.

Blake went out first to show his little brother how to do it, and Jimmy cheered as he got up out of the water, and gave the thumbs up for Kyle to gun it.

"Wow! Blake's really good at it. Isn't he Dad?" Jimmy said as he leaned over the back rail to watch.

"Yes, he's obviously had some practice," Charles replied as we watched Blake jump a few waves. He finally let go and Colin yelled up to Kyle that he was down. We spun around to pick him up. He tossed the skis up first and then climbed aboard and wrapped himself in a towel.

"That was wicked awesome, Blake!" Jimmy said almost jumping around. "Is it my turn now?"

"Sure. We'll use the smaller skis as it'll be easier to get up out the water in those. I'll go in with you to help you put them on properly."

"Cool."

Blake grabbed the skis and tossed them into the water before both boys jumped in together.

"He'll be fine. Don't worry," Colin assured Vanessa who looked like she would be the type to jump in the water after her `son'. Before she does that, I'd remind her to take the anchor with her so she doesn't float away in the current.

Blake worked to get Jimmy all hooked up and showed him to the starting position, including how to keep the skis up. "When you're ready to go, nod and we'll go. Keep both hands on the bar until you're up then you're fine to use just one hand if you want. To stop, simply let go and you'll sink into the water. If you wanna go faster, give a thumbs up. We'll come back and get you the second you let go or fall. You cool?"

"I'm cool," Jimmy replied as we all watched.

Blake swam back to the boat and yelled to his brother. "Nod when you're ready."

Jimmy nodded and Blake yelled up to Kyle to gun it. Jimmy held on for a few seconds before the rope pulled away from him. We circled back to let him try again. By the third try, Vanessa was already suggesting that he might not be big enough to do this. Colin assured her that kids as young as five can waterski easily.

On the fourth attempt, Jimmy got up out of the water, but face planted a few seconds later. That only made him more energized to go again, even though Vanessa's anxiety level was at critical. The final try, he was up and leaned back to make sure he didn't trip again. The smile on his face said it all as we dragged him behind us. Blake gave him a thumbs up, but quickly got a shake of the head to indicate they were going fast enough. He skied along behind us for quite a while before letting go and sinking. Kyle rapidly made a hard turn to go back to retrieve him. He was still beaming from ear to ear as we helped him into the boat, while Blake dove into the water to get the skis.

"You did it, bro! That was epic. How'd it feel?" Blake asked with enthusiasm as Jimmy wrapped in a towel.

"That was fun. Are we gonna be able to do that again?"

"Sure, maybe not today though. Kyle put the tube in the storage with the dinghy. You wanna go out in that? You gotta hold on though as it gets pretty bouncy. You could flip right out," Blake warned.

"But the life jacket would still keep me floating, right?"

"Of course. Worst that happens is that you get a face full of water, but just hold on tight and we'll be fine. I'll tell Kyle to take it easy for your first time."

Blake went back down onto the loading dock to open the hatch and dragged out the tube. We loaded the boys into it and secured the tow rope. Kyle moved us slowly out until the rope was fully extended and the boys were being dragged behind us. Blake gave a thumbs up and screamed `hit it!'

If this had just been us, Kyle would have floored it just to see if he could buck us off, but with Jimmy along, he was smarter about it. He treated it as if we had Travis, Trevor and James back there. He increased speed slowly until we were clipping along and the boys were getting a thrill ride. While I couldn't hear what Blake was saying to Jimmy, I could guess, as each time he leaned over Jimmy shook his head. I'm surmising he asked him if he wanted to go faster. They stayed out about 10 minutes with all of us watching them. Colin made sure to video part of it as he knew Blake would enjoy seeing it. When Blake finally gave the cut sign, we slowed down to stop. I unfastened the tow rope so we weren't continuing to drag the boys along as we turned to retrieve them.

By the time we got back, the boys were leaning over the side of the tube looking around frantically as they'd lost something.

"Dads, guess what we just saw?" Blake said as we pulled up to them.

"A whale!" Jimmy said excitedly not able to wait for us to guess. I was going to go with some sort of sea creature, or Aquaman, as my guess, so I'd have been mostly right.

"That's great honey. How about we get you back on board then," Vanessa said sweetly. The venom dripped off her fangs and her claws extended, ready to cut a vein. Or maybe that was just the mushrooms taking effect. Wish I actually had mushrooms for this trip.

"You boys are freezing," Vanessa said as she wrapped a large towel around Jimmy.

"I don't feel cold," Jimmy replied as he stood there shivering with goose bumps all over him.

"That's the adrenaline for now," I explained. "You'll appreciate the towel as soon as the excitement of the ride wears off."

"You boys must be careful. If there are whales around, it might not be safe to go back in the water again today. We don't need them attacking us," she offered as ridiculous advice, or redundant advice. I have no idea, it just sounded stupid.

"It's safe. The whales would be more curious about us than anything. The only thing they look to eat is fish and occasionally they have a group outing, and invite dolphins over for dinner," Colin explained without making it sound too graphic.

"We should catch some fish and throw it to the whales when we see them," Jimmy said excitedly.

"They were Orcas," Blake told everyone.

"Guess what else they're called," Jimmy grinned, bursting to tell his knowledge. "Killer whales. Cool, huh?"

"Sounds like an even better reason to stay on the boat. How about you let me dry you off and warm you up, honey," Vanessa suggested.

"I'm okay. We're gonna go look for more whales. Maybe they got a whole family with them.

"I think you should stay away from the railing where it's safer," she said sounding a lot more serious. Why doesn't she just put him back in diapers and stick a soother in his mouth?

"It's pretty safe, even in the water," I told her. "If there are whales around, most of the other fish and wildlife will be giving them a wide berth. Normally you'd be dealing with hundreds of fish and maybe even dolphins in the water all around you, but today we'd be lucky to find seaweed with the whales nearby."

"I think I'd be happier if you maybe moved to the upper deck. You can probably see the whales better from up there anyway," she offered.

"I won't see nothin' from up there," he said pouting slightly. Yeah, he's Blake's brother alright. He'll wear you down until you just give up because it'll be easier.

"We can see tons," Blake said to assure him. "I go out to our island all the time and seen lots of whales. As soon as I'm allowed to take the boat by myself, which should be any day now, we can go there together."

"You mean any year, now," Colin smiled at him.

"What's the age limit for driving a boat?" Blake frowned.

"There isn't one. You just need a boating license before you can operate one by yourself," Colin replied.

Blake went over to his pants and pulled out his wallet and came back to us. "You mean like this one!" He said flipping a card up at us, grinning wildly. "Muah ha ha," he chuckled evilly. "You fell into my trap."

"When did you go for your license?" I asked.

"A few months ago. Kyle took me so I could drive the boat sometimes."

"Fair enough. But for now, we'd prefer it if someone else went along with you when you were out in the water," I said trying to sound all firm and parental. I'll get his diapers and soother ready for later.

"There would be. Like I'd go out by myself and be all bored. Not a chance. I'd take my friends out so we could ski and tube all day. Toss back a couple cold ones and fish. Tell stories of the good old days."

"And by cold ones, you mean?" I clarified for the Campbells.

"Root beer mostly, or orange crush. I like both."

"You'd let him take a boat out by himself?" Vanessa asked, looking almost horrified. Or maybe that's just her normal face. Who can tell?

"He's been out on the water enough that he knows the rules," Colin replied. "I'd say he's probably mature enough to handle it, but we haven't discussed it yet, so the jury's still out on a decision."

"When they get back, it'll be a yes. Kyle's been showing me all the stuff I need to know, plus we have the dinghy in the back in case of an emergency. And I already learned how to ride out a tsunami if they hit."

"Pretty sure there wouldn't be a tsunami on the east side of Vancouver Island. I think they'd get hit on the west side first, and it would create a break between them and the mainland," Colin told him.

"You never know. Like I learned in Boy Scouts, be prepared. And I'm prepared. Even have my multi-tool in my backpack in case we get into trouble. It has pliers, a screwdriver, knife and saw. Oh, and a bottle opener. In case we need to send a message in a bottle, I guess."

"Does it come with a pen and paper to write the message?" I teased.

"Nah, I'd just write it on a piece of tree bark using the charcoal from an old fire."

"Well, there you have it. Sounds like he's prepared to me," I laughed. "Boys."

Vanessa looked at Jimmy standing there shivering, but grinning happily. "I told you to give me your towel so I can dry you off."

"It's okay, I can dry myself off," he said defiantly.

"We can go downstairs and change into dry shorts if you want, Jimmy. Then we can come up and try to catch fish for the whales," Blake suggested.

"We'd prefer it if he stays up here to change," Vanessa said quickly.

"In front of everyone? That's kinda creepy," Blake said, sounding shocked. "Plus you're a woman. Boys don't undress in front of girls."

"We'd just prefer he stay up here where we can keep an eye on him. I'm his mother, and it's not like I haven't seen him without clothes before."

"No you're not!" Blake exploded at her. "You're not his mother. We had a mother, but she's gone. Hopefully Jimmy will remember her someday as she was a great mom."

"BLAKE. That's enough," Colin snapped at him. "Apologize."

"I'm sorry. But it's a fact. We will only ever have one mother, and she's gone.

"I'm sorry Blake. I didn't mean to take anything away from the memories you have of your mother. Just like you now have Justin and Colin as new Dads, we have been a new Mom and Dad for Jimmy these past three years, so we don't see him as anything but our son."

"He's not. He's my brother. The two of us are all that's left of our original family, and I'm not going to let him down ever again."

"Blake. Take Jimmy down below. Get changed and come back up. Let's all take a beat and step back from the edge a bit," I said putting my hand on his arm to calm him. I was almost happy to let this keep going, but the right thing to do was to stop it.

"We still get to fish though, right?" Jimmy asked, having stood quietly as the conversation went on around him.

"Of course, dude. Whales gotta eat, so we should help `em out. Make friends with the whales and they'll come to our rescue if we're ever in trouble," Blake reasoned as they headed down below. I half expected Vanessa to stop them, but she kept her cool and let them go.

"Sorry about Blake. He's been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster since he heard John was alive...Sorry...Jimmy," I said speaking up.

"We understand. It's a tough time for everyone, but I think this plays to point out that the boys should have both a mother and a father," Charles said casually.

"How so?" Colin asked.

"A male influence for a boy is necessary to teach him how to be a man, but an all-male influence could deprive him of the calming influence, emotional, and empathetic, support that a woman could provide. You understand where I'm coming from, don't you?"

"Sure. You're saying that males are all testosterone and no estrogen. Having a boy grow up with all males will make him more aggressive, and less willing to listen to reason," I said, sounding all psychologist.

"Exactly. With a woman in the picture there a sense of nurturing that can be lacking in the all-male environment. Vanessa and I have several discussions on that when deciding things for Layne and Jimmy. I'm fine if the boys want to go cliff jumping or use power tools, but Vanessa is more conservative and would prefer they not do things like that, so we compromise and find a middle ground. Like I won't let them use the table saw, but the power drill is fine. We'll allow Layne to use the mitre saw with supervision, but not Jimmy until he's older. Such things help the boy develop in a very natural way. Blake is already showing signs of being raised in an all-male household by the fact he's a little fearless over things that would make most mothers pull back the reins."

"Although we don't know Layne," I said, trying to choke out the lie. "I assume at his age he is looking to pull away more, and do things independently. Doesn't pulling back the reins simply cause deception or rebellion?"

Wonder how those `don't be gay' reins are going? I thought to myself.

"Of course, he's a teenager, but with the values of a two-gender parenting system, he also has that voice in his head that says `what would mom say about me doing that?'"

"Then he does it anyway," I laughed. I got a small smile out of Charles. Vanessa still didn't seem amused at all. "Blake is very similar, but the one thing about having two Dads is he doesn't have to think about what we'd say about something. He'd straight up tell us, or ask, if he was confused about something. There's no playing one off against the other as Dad allows dangerous and Mom protects from the bad. Blake is comfortable speaking his mind and talking things out."

"We've clearly seen that," Vanessa said. She really needs to carry tissues if she's gonna spit words out like that.

"Exactly. We never have to worry about whether he's lying to us or hiding anything as he feels comfortable enough to talk to us about anything, whether we agree with him or not."

"Would you accept him if he chose to date a girl and get married?" Vanessa asked, basically getting to the meat of her though process.

"Of course. We'd support him no matter what he chose to do. Whom he choose to love is up to him and we'd always be supportive."

"What if he chooses someone you don't approve of? Like an older woman or a criminal."

"I guess that would depend on the person. Nothing wrong with dating older. Colin is five years older than me and it's working out great. He's not so old that I'd have to call him Daddy, though. That would just get confusing," I joked and got hit on the thigh by my Daddy. God, I'd gonna get shit when I get home. I wonder if I'll get spanked. Mmmmm... Okay, back to real life.

Jimmy and Blake raced back upstairs, now dried off and in clean shorts. "You guys gonna come fishing with us. I could put the worms on your line for you if you don't wanna touch them, Mrs. Campbell," Blake offered.

"Thank you, Blake. That's very kind of you."

"No worries. I know sometimes girls don't like bugs and stuff. My girlfriend doesn't mind, but her best friend shrieks and jumps on the furniture if she even sees a spider."

"Oh. You have a girlfriend. Is she your age?" Vanessa asked perking up slightly.

"Yeah. Her name is Sienna. Her best friend is Ashley."

"Have you been together long?"

"Not really. A few months now. I've known her for a while but it was just casual before. I had a boyfriend so I think she just waited until we broke up before she made any move."

"You had a boyfriend as well?"

"Sure. We're still friends though."

"Do you prefer a girlfriend now that you have one?" Charles asked as Blake and Jimmy got everyone to move to where the fishing lines were.

"I dunno if prefer is the right word. I like being with Sienna as she's lots of fun and kinda similar to me as we're both pretty outgoing. I think it's important to like the person you pick as a partner. Doesn't really matter if it's a boy or a girl, as long as you get along really well."

"That's an interesting perspective," Charles commented.

"Thanks," Blake grinned. "It works as I have lots of friends that I can just be myself around."

"Yeah. And now me and Blake are friends too," Jimmy said giving a big smile.

"We're the best kind of friends," Blake added. "We're brothers."

I felt a lump in my throat. I think I may have swallowed a baseball.

"Yeah. Layne is my best friend. He's a pretty cool big brother," Jimmy said to him. I think that surprised Blake a little as I saw him tense up a bit.

"Hopefully when you remember me, you'll know how close we were too. I'm glad Layne has been there for you while I wasn't," Blake added. I knew he was feeling extremely conflicted about Layne. On one hand he loved having him as a friend and having sex. On the other, he was jealous that Layne had Jimmy's memories at the moment.

We finished the day up fishing, but not catching anything. Might have something to do with the whales somewhere nearby. I got the impression that the Campbell's didn't have as much fun as the rest of us, but I guess time will tell.

End of Chapter.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter. Don't tell me if you didn't. I'm shallow and sensitive. No...really, I am.
