Extreme NSYNC: Chapter 2 By Billy Burrew

Justin leans up to Bill and brushes his lips against Bill's in a soft kiss. As they kiss, they are interrupted by a sharp intake of breath, and both Justin and Bill look over to see Lance, crying as he looks at them from the doorway, take off towards the elevator at a dead run.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 2 begins Now....

Justin looks at Bill and takes off after his friend as Bill slowly shakes his head and sits down on the bed, not sure of what to expect next. Thinking he has ruined his chances of friendship, Bill begins to cry, sobbing quietly as he heads into the bathroom, blowing his nose, starting the shower, and undressing quickly then taking a long cold bracing shower which hits him hard and restores him back to his senses. As he finishes dressing he hears noises out in the hall and as he pulls his shoes, someone knocks at the door.

"Come", Bill commands sounding much like Captain Picard as possible.

J.C.'s head peeks in and smiles, "Cap'n, are you decent?"

"Yes number one, do you have a second in private?" Bill replies slowly his smile fading as J.C comes in and shuts the door behind him.

"What's up man?" J.C. responds, his face lined with worry, "Are you feeling OK?"

"Yes and No, J.C." Bill explains, "I have to tell you what happened after you left to go shower, and I will understand if you don't wanna go to dinner or see me again..."

Bill explains the incident to J.C., who remains calm and shakes his head from side to side and then says, "Dude, I don't see any problem with us here. If Justin kissed you and you're OK with that, you just have to remember that HE kissed YOU and if Lance has a problem its between him and Justin. You were just making sure Justin was OK. Don't sweat it!"

"OK," Bill sighs, trying to regain some confidence, "I guess so!"

Just then came a knock at the door and Justin, Lance, Joey and Chris all came in dressed for dinner. "Hi guys" Bill said less than cheerfully, "The gang's all here! Ready to head out to dinner?"

"Yep", J.C. replied for all of them, "Joey, Chris and I are gonna head down to the lobby now and give you fellows a few seconds to talk with each other. Meet us down there in a few, OK?"

Bill, Justin and Lance looked at J.C. and nodded, watching as the three walked out the door and shut it behind them.

Bill turned to look at Justin and Lance, sighing audibly before he spoke, "Hey guys, I just wanted to apologize to you both." Bill hung his head, hoping to take the blame for all of this so that the two guys woudn't fight. "I guess I acted like one of your fans and let my hormones take over when I saw Justin packing up his stuff, I would understand if neither of you would trust me at all."

As Bill sat back down on the bed, he hears the two guys sit down beside him, placing their arms around him and hugging him tightly. "Bill...." Lance began not letting go of his hug, "...You are such a nice person, and you have such a good heart, but you are such an awful liar!" Startled, Bill glanced up at the two of them, both looking intently at him. "I appreciate that you would want to take the blame for this one so that I wouldn't be upset with Justin. I just think it was a shock for me to see you two kissing, and more so cause I wished I could have been getting what Justin was getting at that moment."

Justin's eyes grew wide as he looked from Bill to Lance, who met his gaze and kept it til both guys started to giggle. " I am not mad at you, Curly, or you, Bill, I was more jealous and bummed out that you beat me to the punch again, Justin. You ARE Mr. Smooth!" Lance replied, shaking his head back and forth and looking down at his lap.

"Whoa!......Wow!...umm....OK." Justin breathed quietly, "I didn't know that you liked guys Lance, I honestly didn't!" Justin looked at Lance, putting his finger under his chin and meeting his eyes, which began to tear up.

"I never wanted anyone to know about me, I thought you would all hate me!" Lance replied bleary-eyed, "You don't hate me, do you Justin?"

"Of course not you dummy," Justin laughed, "if anything this gives more in common than with the other guys." They both began to chuckle and laugh.

Bill cleared his throat and both guys looked at him, smiling. "Well, I think I see the closing credits beginning to roll at the end of this drama.", Bill deadpanned, a smile forming at the ends of his mouth. "I think this has been a great talk, guys, and some real good has come from it. At least now you can go scoping for guys together!" Bill couldn't hold it back any longer and began to chuckle until he got hit in the head with a pillow.

"Drama?!?" Justin and Lance laughed, pelting Bill with pillows, "Scoping guys together?!?", they again said, laughing in unison at the idea.

"Bill", Justin said grabbing him and hugging him again, "You are the greatest! I just wanted to cry when you started to take the blame for the kiss so that Scoop and I wouldn't go toe to toe!"

"Yeah", Lance smiled and winked, "You are awesome, even though it was obvious that Justin was putting the moves on you."

"Hey!" Justin laughed, "Those were all new moves, I never had a guy to put them on before!"

Bill glanced over to Justin, raising an eyebrow, "Thanks, I think!" and laughed. "Let's get moving before everyone comes back up looking for us. Let's go EAT!"

Justin and Lance walked beside each other, chatting and laughing on the way over to the restaurant, as Bill followed them smiling a happy smile for his part in their new area of friendship. J.C. walked beside Bill and took note of his smile and leaned over and said, "Hey, that must have gone really well!" noting the antics of Justin and Lance.

"Yeah, it did!", Bill replied his smile broadening, "they know that they have more in common now more than ever."

"Really?" J.C. mused, "that is awesome then, I am glad for that, and I am glad you helped them see it too." "It is so rare to find someone who genuinely wants to be our friend for no other purpose beyond being friends, and I am so glad that we all bumped into you at the hotel."

"Yeah, man, that is so true!", Joey and Chris called out from behind at the same time Justin and Lance said it from ahead of Bill, who blushed and lowered his head.

"We're here!" Bill exclaimed as they turned the corner and walked into the restaurant. Bill walked over to the hostess and gave her his name to look for in the reservations.

"Ah yes, glad to see you got here," the lady smiled cheerfully, "follow me back this way."

The guys got all settled and eating when Justin looked up at Bill, "Hey B, what section did you get for the show tomorrow nite? Are we gonna be able to see you?"

"Oh yeah", Bill replied with a nod and a smile, "if you have really, really good vision, you should be able to make me out on the lawn at the ampi-theater."

Chris and Joey laughed, and J.C. said, "Lawn tickets?"

"Yeah, that was all they had left when my co-worker got them for her kid." Bill replied,

"I was just glad to get one at all seeing as they were sold out when I checked a few weeks ago." "I should be able to see you all pretty well if I get there early enough to get close to a big screen TV." Bill looked up to see all the guys staring at him with puzzled looks.

"What?!?" Bill exclaimed, "Did I already mess up this shirt, jeez you can dress me up, but you can't take me out!" Bill wet his napkin and looked down at his shirt and exclaimed, "Hey, I don't see anything!" As Bill looked back up, Joey had his head in his hands laughing, Chris was falling out of his seat laughing and Justin, Lance and J.C. were all howling with laughter.

"Sorry Bill", J.C. said, wiping away tears from his eyes, "you don't have anything on your shirt at all!" This set off a new torrent of laughter and Bill began to feel uncomfortable and left out of the joke.

"Really", Justin replied, catching his breath, "Do you honestly think we would let you sit way out on the grass at our concert. Bill, man, we ARE the band! We'll get you a front row seat or just have you backstage with us or in the VIP area."

"Oh...", Bill replied sheepishly, "I didn't even think of that."

"No, you didn't", Chris spoke up, "You would have sat out there in the lawn seats and been cool with that and I think that is awesome. I think its way awesome that you wouldn't try to use meeting us today as a way to muscle into a better seat. Bill you are THE MAN!".

Bill smiled, "Thanks Chris, I just wouldn't have even thought about it, its not my way." At that moment their food came and they dug into the delicious appetizers. An hour and a half later, after desserts and coffee, Bill asked the waitress for the check. She put it on the table and Bill fished out his wallet and pulled his credit card out and handed it back to her. As the waitress walked away, J.C. stood up, shaking his head, and walked after her.

"What's wrong with J.C.?", Bill frowned, concerned that something had happened at dinner.

The waitress returned with the credit card and leaned over the table and said quietly to Bill, "Sir, your credit card was rejected."

"REJECTED!?!", Bill exclaimed loudly.

"Well, rejected by your friend over there, he paid for the bill with his credit card.", the waitress laughed. "I am sorry, he put me up to that."

Bill shook his head at J.C as he returned to the table with his receipt, "I almost had a heart attack there for a minute, man! You must be trying to kill me!"

The guys began laughing again, and J.C. grabbed Bill by the arm and lead him to the bathroom. "J.C.", he said when they got into the bathroom, "Why did you pay for dinner? I was taking y'all out to eat as my guests since you were visiting town."

"Bill, man" J.C. responded, "You gave us presents already, more than just hats and basketballs, you're here hanging out with us as well and everyone thinks that is the best present yet. Don't be upset about the bill, our record company gives us credit cards to go out and eat with when we are on the road and they expect us to use them."

"OK" Bill replied, "I didn't want anyone to think I am a mooch or anything."

"I think that is impossible, Bill." J.C. beamed and leaned over and pecked him on the cheek then opened the door to the bathroom. Bill stood there for a second and rubbed his face where J.C. had kissed him, shaking his head in wonder, then headed out of the bathroom to the lobby where the guys were waiting.

On the way back to the hotel, the guys chatted happily about dinner and tomorrows show, making jokes and having a good time. As they passed a construction site, 8 rough looking guys began to walk towards them. As they passed the guys, the one guy turned and began to hit Joey up for money. Joey shrugged and searched through his pockets, pulling out a few dollars and handing it to the guy. As he goes to put his wallet away, the man reaches over and tries to grab it.

"Hey!", Joey exclaims, "Get away from my wallet, man!" As the guys turn around to go help Joey, whose attacker had pulled out a knife, the rest of the gang of hoodlums advance upon them, with pipes and knives also in hand.

The lead hood reaches Bill first and lunges forward with his knife. As the knife comes within a foot of his chest, Bill holds up his hand and the attacker is stopped in mid air.

"Unnngh.....wha tha fuc....", is all the attacker gets out before Bill moves his hand forward suddenly and the attacker is thrown clear across the street, as if by some horrendous force, and slams into the concrete wall of the building hard enough that the breaking of his spine is clearly heard by everyone.

Bill then turns towards Joey's attacker, balling his hand up into a fist. The assailant immediately cries out in pain, lurching over and vomiting blood up onto the sidewalk. Again, a dismissive flick of Bill's wrist launches the now incapacitated attacker across the street and into the wall and unconsciousness. The guys from the band stand stock still behind Bill as Joey runs over to them. The remaining six attackers begin to hover as if uncertain of their odds against this unexpected force.

Bill shakes his head and loudly delivers his ultimatum, "Leave.....Leave now! Leave on your feet...", and he points across the street to the fallen attackers, "...or leave in a bodybag!" The six attackers eyes widen as they turn and run at top speed away from the scene and their fallen comrades. Bill watches them run and waits til they are out of sight before falling to his knees, blacking out.

"Bill....man.....are you all right? Did you get hurt?", Lance and Justin shout, as they and the guys move over to Bill's now crumpled form."

"What the HELL happened!?!", "How did he DO that?", Chris utters, looking across the street at the fallen attackers.

J.C. and Joey pick Bill up and put his arms around their necks as Justin and Lance check to make sure he is uninjured, breathing and alive.

"Bill!.....C'mon man, be alive here, don't be all courageous and then die on us!", J.C. exclaims worriedly.

Bill's eyes flutter and open. "Are they gone?", he croaks. "Yeah man, they split outta here FAST!", Joey replies, glancing around and making sure.

"Bill....how did that happen? You did that without touching them! How?"

"Uuuughhh", Bill moans, getting his legs back and rubbing his temples with his hands, "I just used my head, literally, and drove them off. I just couldn't let them kill Joey or y'all. He had a gun, and he was gonna rob us and shoot us." Bill looked up at the guys who stood staring dumbfounded at their new friend. "Please don't stare at me, I didn't want you to find out I was a freak, but I couldn't let those thugs kill us all."

"Freak? Bill, that was amazing, but....how?" J.C. replies.

"I have some powers, mind powers, and they let me move things with a thought and tell what other people are thinking as well as a few new things that I keep "discovering" I can do all of a sudden.", Bill answered, his head hung as he spoke to the guys. "I think we'd better get back to the hotel now." Bill begins to walk towards the hotel and the guys follow behind him silently.

As the guys rounded the corner to the hotel, they all saw the same thing that stopped them in their tracks. There outside the hotel was a large crowd of girls and groupies waiting by the entrance.

"Oh man", Justin exclaims as they hid behind the hotel corner, "what awful timing. This sucks!

Bill turns around and smiles at the guys then steps out towards the crowd. J.C. hisses at Bill, "What are you doing!?!"

"Trust me", Bill replies and quickly makes his way to the center of the crowd.

Bill begins to address the crowd loudly, "Hi there. The boys from N'Sync wanted to thank you all for waiting patiently outside their hotel for them to come back from dinner. Unfortunately, they got to dinner very late and had their reservation cancelled. They are, because of this, just getting seated for dinner now and will probably not be back for another few hours. The boys saw you on the television news and called me on my cellphone to ask me to come out and tell you that they will be late getting back from the Angus Barn.....errr....I mean, from dinner."

Bill looks around at all the girls as they began to run screaming to their parents' cars pealing out of the parking lot and making their way to the restaurant well across Raleigh. In about 2 minutes, Bill was the only person left in front of the hotel and he began to laugh loudly, "OK YOU GUYS, come on out!" He turned around to see the guys running over to tackle him.

"Hey!" Bill exclaimed, 'Is that anyway to thank me?" Lance ran up to Bill and hugs him tightly, "That was AWESOME! I don't know how you do that, that was so smart! They'll be gone for hours!"

As the group walks into the hotel and makes for the elevators, Bill looks at the floor by the bank of elevators and sighs mightily. J.C. sees this and walks over to him and asks him what is wrong.

"Nothing, just thinking that if one of your crazy fans hadn't decked me today, I wouldn't have gotten to meet any of you.", Bill responded.

The elevator door opened and Bill walked into it and turned around to see all the guys staring at the spot he had just vacated.

"Hello, guys? Y'all OK?" Bill questioned them.

"Fine, just thinking how lucky we are to have such excitable fans.", J.C. responded quietly, "It gave us the opportunity to meet someone really special who saves our butts from both our attackers and our fans."

"Hmmm...." Bill replied, a smile coming to his face, "I think you had better get inside here now, or you are gonna be up to your eyeballs in excitable fans in about 4 seconds."

The guys didn't need to turn around but pushed themselves into the elevator as they heard the screams of a few fans from behind them in the lobby. The doors closed quickly and a few moments later, they were up in their rooms.

Bill and Lance sat on one of the beds in Justin and Lance's room, talking about the evenings events so far. The rest of the guys went to their rooms to change into some more comfortable lounging clothes and Justin had hit the bathroom to shower and do the same.

"Did you wanna go to your room and change clothes?", Lance asks as both lay back on their elbows on the bed.

"I think I better. These are not comfy enough to sit around in." Bill replies, pointing to his pants, white shirt and tie. "I think I better go slip into something more comfortable." Bill snickers, doing his best impersonation of Mae West.

"Can I tag along while Justin gets cleaned up?" Lance asks.

"Sure, Lance, no problem.", Bill replies, "Lets get going so we don't get back up here too late."

Bill gets up and heading out the door with Lance behind him. They ride down to Bill's room in pleasant silence. As Bill began to unzip his suitcase and pull out a change of clothes, he looked over at Lance who was just staring at the floor.

"Penny for your thoughts there, Scoop?"

Lance looks up and smiles weakly, "I was just thinking about you and Justin's kiss."

"Hmmm.....don't need a crystal ball or mental powers to tell me that Lance." Bill jokes, "Let's talk about that in a sec."

Bill sat down on the bed across from Lance and quickly pulled off his tie and shirt and pulled a new UNC t-shirt over his undershirt. He then pulled off his loafers and socks and pants, leaving him in just his boxer briefs.

"Nice Calvin's!" Lance laughs, "I have some like that too!"

"Yeah", Bill grinned as he fetched out a pair of gym shorts, "These are so comfortable and I love the buttons in the front, they keep Mr. Frisky from popping out for unannounced visits like when I wear plain boxers."

"Mr. Frisky?" Lance crows, "MR. FRISKY!!!" "HEH HEH HEH, HAHAHAHA!" Lance continues to laugh as Bill goes into the bathroom and runs some sink water.

Bill comes out a few seconds later and slips on his shorts. "OK, let's talk about that kiss, shall we?"

Lance looks at Bill and his smile fades away, "I didn't mean to run out of the room like that, but I just wanted to kiss you so badly, and when I saw Justin doing just that, I got really upset."

"Lance", Bill replies, "Justin was sitting where you are now, looking down at his ball and crying. I thought that something was wrong and I had upset him so I went over and asked him if he was all right. He said he was just so happy to meet a normal person here and not some screaming fan. Then I helped him up off the bed, he hugged me and we brushed lips in a light kiss. That is when Justin saw you at the door. That is it, you know the rest of it from there."

"That was it?" Lance asks, shaking his head, looking at Bill, and beginning to smile. "I thought you were really making out there and I just couldn't believe how far you guys had gotten so fast. Man do I feel dumb. Tell me tho, truthfully," Lance leers, leaning over conspiratorially towards Bill on the other bed, "Would it have gone any further?"

"I dunno Lance." Bill answers in a hollow voice.

"Oh!", Lance responds, "Do you think I am attractive...err...are you attracted to me?"

Bill leans over towards Lance and kisses him softly on the lips, pulling Lance off his bed and deep into his embrace. "What do you think, Scoop?" Bill asks, nuzzling in the crook of Lance's neck and moving to kiss him softly on the nape of his neck.

Lance begins to tremble all over and Bill feels Lance's arms tighten around him.

"Mmmm....Yeah, I think I get it now.", Lance cooes softly.

Bill pulls Lance up onto the bed with him and they both lie back as Bill begins to kiss and touch Lance's face, holding him as they begin to make out. Suddenly, the phone rings and Bill sits up and leans over to the night table to answer it.

"Hello?" Bill replies into the receiver.

"Bill? This is Justin. Is Lance there with you, we were gonna go over some plans for tonite up here in our room but he has disappeared and we thought he might be with you."

"Yeppers, Justin" Bill answers quickly, "He's here. He was helping me find something comfortable to slip into." As Lance begins to laugh at the double entendre, Bill smacks him with a pillow,

"OK Justin, I am just about done changing here, I will send him right up. Oh....OK, Thanks Justin, I'll see y'all in a few."

Bill puts down the receiver and smacks Lance once more with the pillow, then leans over him to kiss him on the lips again, running his hands over Lance's clothed chest and then down to rub over his hardening erection. As they kiss, Lance gets more and more bold and excited, rubbing Bill's chest and arms, then trailing down to his shorts, sliding a hand under his waistband and feeling up the already stiff goods. As Bill feels Lance's hands circle around the shaft of his cock, he fights the urge to begin to undress Lance and gets up off him and sits a foot away from him on the bed, panting and licking his lips.

Lance looks up in bewilderment until he sees Bill's wide grin.

"Sorry babycakes, think some cool thoughts....I have to get you up to your room for a group meeting, it sounds important too!"
