Even though Steven, the Thompson house caretaker and psychologist, has taken a secret vow not to be judgemental, after taking Lance's call, feels like a powder keg with a short fuse.

Over an hour ago, when they left the house on a whim, Lance wanting to run out and purchase a new cell phone for Logan, he thought there was enough sense to tell Logan he was going out. Like usual, Steven is left taking up the slack, phoning and telling them where he and Lance are, without giving away the surprise gift.

When Steven called the house phone, Rick had picked up and as if he was speaking with Lance, condemns his actions at least three times, accusing Lance of abandonment, carelessness and irresponsibility.

Of each one, Steven has said, "I know."

"I know."

"I know, Rick, but it's really not our call. All we can do is try to make the best of a tricky situation."

Tom, who was about to give Steven the tour of the new gym, which he informed would have a rehab section specifically for those who have suffered temporary injury, or transitioning from major incapacitation, with improving condition.

Tom badgers, "did you tell him about the new rehab area?"

Holding his cellphone to his chest, Steven says, "I will, I will."

On the housephone, Rick had tired of ranting, realizing it's not Steven he should be busting nuts over, but the source.

"It's okay, Rick. It's not the first time I've taken the heat for some idiotic thing Lance has done." Then, he quickly changes subject, "oh, by the way, Tom informs me the new gym is going to have a rehab unit, and he thought perhaps Logan might be able to take advantage?"

He could hear commotion on Rick's end, Logan thinking out loud about the possibility of joining the gym, "and wow," Steven picks up on Logan's excitement, "imagine me, working out, surrounded by dozens of musclemen!"

Mat enters Tom's office, "ready for the tour?"

Steven mouths, 'I'll only be a minute'.

Tom says to Mat, "Steven's intention was to try to convince Logan it would be good for him, but Logan was already gung ho about it."

"I think it might do Logan good, not to mention get him out of the house," Mat says.

Steven cuts off the call, "they're on their way, will be here in about ten minutes."

Mat questions, "they?"

Without extensive dialogue, Steven says, "Rick happened to drop by. Since Lance is off to somewhere else, Rick was able to convince his captain at the precinct to grant him an extended lunch hour."

"This is good," Mat says, "being one of the two physical therapists who will be working the rehab, will be dropping by."

Informing them, Daan knocks, enters, "Mat, Sherman wanted me to tell you the pt's are here."

"Thanks, Daan. Tell him I'll be right there."

"Right," Daan leaves.

"Oh, before I forget," Steven says, "Lance said he left the new iPhone he bought Logan, in the supply closet. It was locked when he tried to retrieve it and asked if I would do follow up to get it back?"

So, it's agreed, Tom will give Steven access, Mat meeting up with them in a few moments.

All the pieces began to fall into place, retrieving the phone, Tom and Steven coming face to face with Rick in the reception area, helping Logan to navigate on his crutches. Kind of unused to getting around without a wheelchair, Rick has saved Logan a couple of times already from falling flat on his face!

"So," Logan is looking all around, "any naked yoga guys running around?"

Rick says, "I don't think there are any classes in session at the moment. Besides, Logan, I think you should concentrate on putting one foot in front of the other?"

Mostly Rick was Logan's feet, having to caress the thirty year old from behind, awkwardly leading him down the hallway. It was a process of getting very close, having to occasionally stab Logan between arm and bod, under the pit.

Tom and Steven come out from the supply closet, down the hall and run into them, "so, you made it. Where's your chair?"

Rick says, "gone-zo. Long story on how it got demolished."

Steven says with worry, "demolished? Like, how did that happen?"

"Like I said," Rick says, "it's a long, involved story."

"Yeah," Logan says, "kind of my own fault that I've managed to smash it up."

"Oh," Steven looks to Rick for answers, "you'll have to explain it to me sometime."

Rick again reminds, "no problem, but right now let's drop it, because I'm already kind of ticked off at Lance."

Steven, regardless if Lance wanted to give his brother the present or not, "can you sit down a minute, Logan. I have something for you."

"Okay."

One thing Logan was liking about Rick, aside fom uniform, the rugged facade, drop-dead-gorgeous in appearance, he was also kind, gentle and, okay, maybe he did fake it a little in order to see how it feels to have a pair of hands feel him up, or that if he happened to slip up, Rick's hunky bod was always there to catch him on the fall.

"Uh, Rick, could you help me sit?"

"Of course," Rick went right to it, hands and arms in sync with each other, chest against Logan's back to stear him in the right direction.

Steven stood there with small package in hand. He knew he was smiling. Like, no one, probably not even his own brother, knew Logan as well. It was only the occasional man who came along, would never know what was real and what was a put on. Though, Steven, through psychotherapy and knowing what Logan has gone through, cut him slack, thinking he deserved treatment like this.

Before he presents Logan with the gift, "are we comfortable?"

"Now I am," Logan replies, gazing up to Rick, with a smile creasing his lips.

"Here you go, then."

"What's the occasion? It's not my birthday or anything?"

Steven neglects to say who it's from, "I know."

About to tear off the bow on top, a guy comes walking down the hallway, wheelchair propelled by hands guiding it.

"Hey, look, it's Ritchie!"

Suddenly the nifty wrapped package and red bow weren't important, "hi guys."

Stuffing the package into Steven's hand, Logan attempts to stand and with failure, "well, are you going to stand there, or help me, Rick?"

Rick's jaw dropped, but instead of some sass a motorist might say to him, he mellows out, "you got it, buddy."

'Cool', Logan thought, thinking of him and this tall muscle hunk as a buddy. For the past few weeks, he's got the idea his crotch wasn't crippled, being whenever he got excited over some comment, or some guy shirtless, he's been feeling the repercussions, balls pulsing.

"Hey, look what I can do."

"Wow," Ritchie says, "you're better than me!"

While all eyes were on Ritchie and Donato, Steven decides to sneak-peek Rick, checking him out. While doing so, Rick sneezes and in looking up, stares him right in the face.

Letting him off the hook, "got a tissue, Steven?"

Steven knew Rick was being 'kind', "it might be a little used, but yeah!"

"Forget it, then."

"Um, was that even a real sneeze?"

"Nah," Rick says. "Figured, since you're checking me out, I'd return the favor!"

"Hm, maybe we should think about signing up for nude yoga?"

They might of thought no one following their conversation, Tom butting in, "I can furnish you with a 2 for 1 coupon, if you decide to. And oh, by the way, it's not nude, it's naked."

Rick says, "what's the difference?"

"I don't see any. You'll have to ask Mat. He's the one who names the classes. Me, I only keep the place financially running."

"What a shame, Tom" Rick says, "I bet you have talents yet to be discovered."

Steven says, "maybe some time we should get together and try to figure out the difference on our own?"

"Sounds like a plan," Tom says.

Good thing Logan finishes up friendly business, ready to go out back, "hey Ricky, wanna come give me a hand?"

He had taken to balancing his ass on the arm of Ritchie's wheelchair, Donato steadying the other arm with two hands pressing downward.

"Be right there your highness."

They might have thought they were being smart, taking their conversation to the side, but Logan is the first to point out, "and Ricky?"

"What?" Rick says, manhandling Logan until he's balancing on two crutches.

"When you, Tom and Steven decide to get together to find out the difference between naked and nude, me, Ritchie and Donato want in."

Tom says, "so much for privacy!"

The six, heading out back were a slow-going entourage, but fortunately it wasn't ten city blocks, but one hallway and a step across a driveway.

Meanwhile, Lance was on his way to a new experience in life, in the passenger seat of Terry's car.

"So," Terry says, "in addition to sex, what can you get into?"

"In addition to sex?"

"Oh, I guess I didn't mention my brother, Kip, we like to get it on, not solely relying on a hard shaft and a hand wrapped around it, if you know what I mean?"

Lance knew he was being prodded for information, of what nature he wasn't sure, but had an inkling, so rather than beat around the bush, "are you meaning bondage and stuff like that?"

"You're on the right track."

They pull off the main road onto a gravel road.

Suddenly Lance some bad vibes, "I don't know about this."

"Don't worry," Terry puts a hand on Lance's thigh, "you have nothing to worry about."

"That's the thing. When they say not to worry, it's the time to start worrying."

"I was supposed to keep this secret, but my brother is the guy on the card Randy gave you."

Lance pulls the wrinkled card from his pocket, reading, "it says Crispin."

"Yeah, but when he's playing fantasy games, it's 'Master Kip'."

"I'm still not sold on this."

"I know," Terry says. "I would be skeptical too. Do you trust Randy?"

"Somewhat, being he works at the yoga studio and if anything is to go wrong, he's the one they'll be coming after."

"Did you tell anyone you know, that you got my brother's name and number from Randy?"

"Uh, no. You got a point there."

"Call someone and tell them. Don't mention where you're at, but tell them if they don't here from you by tomorrow morning, to give Randy a call at Mat's yoga."

Rethinking it, Lance feels comfortable with that, but also, "I suppose, you telling me this, shows there's nothing sinister going on, once we get there, wherever 'there' is?"

"Trust me," Terry says, "my brother plays fair and if there's anything you're opposed to doing, he won't force upon you. But to keep a clear mind, make the call."

There again, was that pat on the knee, "you're right."

"Now and then I am," Terry giggles.

He thought of calling Steven, but he thought Jae is the authority here on red-rope bondage and other things that fall under that realm. He calls. Instead of Jae himself, it goes to voicemail, "hey Jae. I know we talked about this and by the time you get this message I'll be involved in my first s&m experience. If you don't hear from me by tomorrow, oh around six pm, you can find out where I am by calling Randy at Mat's Yoga. Bye."

After disconnecting, Lance still felt strange, inhaling and exhaling rapidly two times.

"Don't worry," Terry's comforting hand found it's way to Lance's leg.

Pulling up to a three car garage, Lance didn't outright see the house. Touching a control, one of the doors lift up into the ceiling. Terry pulls in.

"Last chance to change your mind, Lance."

"I know. But if I do, I'll be giving up an experience I've been searching for, for a long, long time and..."

He sat there until Terry provokes, "now's the time to say it, not later. If you're thinking of changing your mind, I can put it in reverse and we can forget about it."

"Yeah, but, there's the problem," Lance says, "I won't forget about it and it'll be eating away at me, thinking of how much of a coward I am for not following through."

"Hey," this time Terry touches Lance's shoulder, "changing your mind doesn't make you any less of a person."

"Have you ever driven some guy here, only to have him change his mind?"

"Happens. Has happened three of four times. But out of those, only one called back to reschedule. I don't know about the rest. Maybe, like you say, they're kicking themselves in the ass for not going through with it. You have to be comfortable with your decision."

"It's not like I haven't thought about doing this."

"It's your decision. Just remember, if it's not today, it could be another time, but the longer you wait, the more anxiety you will feel that you didn't do it."

Lance sits there, pressing lips together, "okay, I'll do it."

"Cool. Let me give Kip a call and he'll be here in five."

%

As the six took to crossing the pavement and entering the refurbished warehouse, the first to greet them was the tall, dark, handsome giant.

"Hey guys, this is Sherman, manager of the new gym."

Well, Tom already knew him, but the others stood there, studying him, until Sherman made the rounds, meeting, greeting and shaking hands.

Ritchie, sitting there in his wheelchair, says, "wow, you sure are tall!"

Logan had to sit, so again, Rick uses his manhandling skills to help him sit on one of the benches inside the door.

"I bet if you stood up, you would come to," Sherman places a flat line under his chin, "well maybe a little lower than that."

Not being ignored, Sherman says, "and you are?"

"Donato. Actually, I applied for a position here, but haven't heard back."

That caught Tom's ear, "oh, I seem to recall. Yes. We're still contacting references."

Mat, Tom's 'boss', says, "well, put a hustle on it, why don't you?"

"Okay, boss," Tom salutes his partner.

Everyone could tell, in a strange way, the two were joking with each other.

"I'll go straightaway to work on it now!"

One down, the rest took up with the tour.

Since there was a rehab unit, there was another wheelchair, Sherman summoning Daan to go fetch it. Everyone thought the two got it on well, Daan willing, without reservations, to obey.

This freed up Rick and with Sherman as tour guide, it gave him leisure to walk at Mat's side.

"So, how's the crime business?"

"More and more cases everyday."

Mat was blunt, "if you ever need a rubdown, stop in at the rehab unit some night and I'll tend to you personally!"

"Oh, are you licensed?"

Holding his crotch with one hand, Mat says, "this doesn't need to be licensed!"

"Truthfully," Rick says, "I'd rather be the one playing doctor."

"Hm, Tom would really like that, you and I operating on him!"

"Nice!"

"Um, like don't look now, Rick!"

"What?"

Mat flutters his eyebrows, "boner alert?"

What a time for Rick to pop a boner!

The other guys done with their little chat, walk over to where the cop and yoga instructor stand.

Logan is the first to sense something's up, "so, Ricky, what's got your balls all twisted up?"

Next to see, Ritchie right there at the zipper door, "oh my god!"

"I know," Mat adds to the noticeable package, "isn't that obscene?"

Rick says it like scolding them, "you guys are acting like you never saw a guy with a bulging crotch?"

Donato adds to the joking around, "well, if you're looking for some rehab, Ricky?"

He had bent over, both hands rubbing together, like to keep warm, Rick saying, "I'd rather have some lip and tongue therapy!"

"Go for it, Donato."

"No, Ritchie," Logan busts his boyfriend's chops, "Donato's our therapist!"

Mat stood there, taking it all in, just picturing how it would be to have Donato on his knees, unzipping Rick.

Rick was kidding, "well, after all I've done for you," he directs it at Logan.

"Yeah, Logan," Ritchie says, "you should be grateful to have had Ricky's hands on you."

With all this talk, it was all Donato could do to contain himself, "maybe we should get on with the tour?"

Sherman who had stepped away, came back, and as if reading their minds, "I see you wasted no time keeping busy while I was gone?"

Mainly it was Rick who bore the brunt of Sherman's friendly scorn, the nod and wiggly eyebrows.

Daan says, "good thing we're all gay men!"

Newcomer Donato says, "you're gay, Daan. Hot!"

"Yeah, and single, if you want to hook up sometime, Donnie."

Donato really hated any nickname, but because Daan was just so hot, he let it slide, "strong possibility."

Not wanting to be left out, Rick says, "sure he's up for it. Anytime you boys want to come over some night?"

Forgetting Ritchie and Logan are staying with him at the moment, Logan says, "oh cool, my first orgy!"

"Uh, gentlemen, those of you who haven't allowed your brains to sink into the gutter," Mat holds the door.

They all pass through the second entryway, entering the newly renovated warehouse.

%

Waiting around in the garage, Lance gets fidgity, "your brother, he's on his way?"

"Yeah. He was fixing the lawnmower, so had to clean up a little."

"Oh. Okay."

No sooner had Lance said it, then he hears footsteps on what seems to be wooden stairs. He was both nervous and excited, not able to place one emotion before the other.

Rounding the top of the steps, a tall man appears, a greasy tank top covering his upper half, "so, you must be Lance?"

Lance was surprised given the rugged appearance, the individual was not approaching him and barking out orders, "that's me."

"Good to meet you. The name's Crispin, but you can call me Kip."

"It's good to meet you too, sir."

"You can forget that stuff. We'll save that for later. First, I want to get to know you," which is something Kip didn't decide until he lays eyes on a guy for the first time, not which he is a narcissist.

"Okay, then I should call you Kip?"

Lance kind of liked this chit chat, being he was trying to study Kip, the hairy pecs, partially visible, jutting out from both sides of the muscle shirt.

"That'll do, 'Lance'."

Terry says, "okay to leave you two guys alone?"

"You've got a date, bro?"

"You know me, always picking up a little cash."

"Go, then."

That left Lance standing there with Kip, which he wasn't sure about, "from what Terry said, I thought you and him would be," Lance sketchy exactly on what was going to happen, "doing what you do, together?"

"Ha, I bet you thought I'm the top dog, being the older of us, but nah, Terry brings a guy here and then if we click, we talk about it, before things intensify."

"Oh, so this is more about what your brother thinks?"

"Yes and no. Long term guys who come here to play, we both decide on, unless..."

"Unless what?"

Kip was definitely interested, walking over to Lance, "you couldn't see, but I could, through the six cameras situated throughout the garage."

Lance looks around.

"Nah, you won't see them, but they're there."

"Yeah, I don't really see anything."

Kip was seeeing plenty right now, "why don't you come downstairs and I'll show you around and we can get to know each other."

"I guess this means I pass stage one?"

"Stage two, actually."

"Oh," Lance says, "and what is stage one?"

"Stage one is when you decided to defy all fears and come here to meet me."

Lance smiles, something along a melancholy look, like a kid that's ready to cry, "I've been wanting to find a guy like you, for a long time. But too, I had my brother to think about and that prevented me from pursuing a relationship I've yearned for."

It hit, Kip, 'relationship', but he didn't right off put it out of his mind, "well, this is not like a date?"

Lance laughs, "I'm not thinking of it as such. From what Terry has said, I'm hoping you and I click and we can get together and meet each others needs. After all, that's what you do, right?"

"That's why we need to talk. Are you ready for stage two?"

By the time Lance had followed Kip down the wooden stairs, he felt hard as a rock.

Kip had waited until they were in the middle of the room, himself the only one who would know the boundaries, one single bulb hanging from a rafter.

"Ready?"

After how he's viewed Kip, a regular guy, partial glimpse of what most likely was a hot, hot bod, "very much so."

Controlling the lighting from his phone, Kip illuminates the darkened room, "voila!"

Lance was astounded, looking upon a furnished room, but instead of, "where's all the dungeon equipment?"

Kip walks over to a bar, "drink first?"

Lance thinks, this the place where he slips something into his drink, "oh, I get it. You slip something into my drink and when I'm out, you drag me into the dungeon?"

"You've watched too much horror movies. It doesn't always happen the way the script goes. Now, what'll you have?"

"Anything you're having?"

"Smart."

"Really?"

"Yeah, you figure if you have the same as me, it comes from the same bottle. Trust me, I'm not out to date rape you."

Feeling somewhat relieved they didn't start out in the dungeon, but in a fully furnished lounge, sectionals, end tables, the bar, "right, that probably comes in stage five or six?"

"None of the above."

"Right. Sorry."

"Not a problem," Kip throws ice into two glasses, pouring in whiskey.

"Your drink?"

Lance takes it, but doesn't sip.

"Okay, fair enough," Kip takes Lance's drink back, sips it, then sips his own.

Feeling like an idiot, Lance says, "how long should I wait before you pass out?"

"Hm, now there's an idea. You'll get to rape me before I do it to you!"

"So, what kind of questions do you have for me?"

"Let's sit."

Kip directs Lance to one end of a four-seat leather sofa, taking the farest, opposite seat. On a coffee table, length which matches the distance between himself and Lance, he picks up a laptop.

"Oh, before we begin the application process," Kip sets the computer down before he opens it.

Lance watches as Kip strips off his muscle tank.

"Um, you want me to do the same?"

"Whatever you're comfortable with, but I have to tell you, getting naked falls around stage five of the application."

Lance says as he stands, "he who hesitates!"

Surely, Kip wasn't about to be upstaged, follows seconds later.

They watch each undress, almost mimicking every move. What neither intended, they face, naked, smile.

"I guess we have a thing for each other?" Kip says, based on their shafts being slightly stiff and not flaccid.

"While I can still speak freely, you're really hot!"

It made Kip laugh. Right now he wasn't feeling the put on roleplay of a dungeon scene, "I was about to say the same about you."

This time when they sat, Kip left one cushion between them, reaching for his laptop, "now, down to business."

More like a very detailed interview, it began with Lance saying, "twenty-eight. How old are you?"

This wasn't how the interview was supposed to go, according to Kip, but wasn't opposed to the question, "thirty-four."

"I kind of had the idea you are older."

"Height, weight?"

"Six feet. You?"

"Six-one."

Lance sits up from a slightly slouched position, "oh, I thought you were taller."

Moving right along, Kip says, "hm, well I guess I can answer the next question myself, bod type."

"You look muscular. Go to the gym?"

"Good genes," Kip smiles.

"I suppose I should say the same. I've never been to a gym, but I'm not into junk food. You?"

"Plant-based."

Lance decides to throw a curve ball, "I'm a meat eater."

"Hungry?"

"What stage are we on?"

Slapping his laptop close, Kip says, "I'm kind of famished myself."

He gets up, walking around, in front of the coffee table.

"Coming?" he holds out a hand, like he's picking Lance up off the floor.

"Going to give me a tour of the dungeon?"

"Nah. Plenty of time for that later. Time to raid the refrigerator."

"Um, shouldn't we put some clothes on?"

"Nah," Kip brushes it aside.

"Okay, if you say so, 'sir'."

Lance had no problem following Kip, except it was more like buddy to buddy and not master and submissive.

%

Meanwhile, Donato is amazed at the facility, everything a physical therapist could want, for a scaled down operation.

"Pilates, the equipment, this is like a pt's dream come true."

Sherman, placing a hand on Donato's shoulder, irks him on, to turn to the right, "take a look over hear."

"An ice bath, awesome!"

After the initial ten minutes of looking around, the rest got bored, so left.

"And, the room to your left is a sauna, if you want to take a look?"

"Sure. Why not?"

Entering, unknown to Donato, Sherman presses a button.

"This is nice. Very spacious."

"The tub fits five comfortably, in case you want to get in the tub with your patient."

Donato cautions, "I think that might fall under some rule that you would need the patient's permission or something like that. But this is definitely a nice set up. Looks like no expense was spared."

Smiling, Sherman says, "did you notice, it's getting a little warm in here?"

"Now that you mention it," Donato rubs the front of his shirt against a sweaty chest.

"You know, I've got this little kink in my neck. Was wondering if you could take a look at it?"

How could Donato not, look at it, Sherman pulling his gym tee shirt overhead!

"Oh, sorry. My bad," he puts the tee shirt back on.

Except it being sweated up, moist, it's like when taking something perfectly packaged, taking it out and not being able to get it back in like when first opened.

"Anyhow," Sherman gives up, using the balled up tee shirt to wipe his pecs.

If anything, one thing Donato didn't want to do, no matter how it looked, was to get off on the wrong foot with the man who would be his boss, "on second thought, maybe I should take a look at that shoulder. You know, you shouldn't let something like that go without treatment?"

"So, you're okay with it?"

"Yeah, but one problem."

"What's that?"

"We would both need to be in the hot tub and you know what that means?"

"Um, you need help getting that sweaty shirt off?"
