Thankfully, after Sunday's initial tensions, and the subsequent downright weirdness of an unexpectedly sudden three-way with a prostitute, Monday at work was totally uneventful.

It gave me time to think.

I still couldn't work out what had been going on inside Louise's head the last week. The more I thought about it, the more I came back to Louise 'knowing' about me fucking Donna. I saw that as the main catalyst. Although Louise's realization of the increase in my desire to fuck men was not only very astute, it was also very correct. And I could see how that bothered her, if indeed Louise was as insecure as Cara had suggested.

On Tuesday, I did some prep on Linda Ware's project. Just before lunch I sent some documents down to Justin. I was basically front-running the work part of our meeting. I mentioned that this would leave time on our agenda for 'peripheral topics'. More time for fun, was how I looked at it.

I got a quick reply from Justin's assistant, a guy named Walker Eastman, acknowledging the files, and confirming the 12-noon rendezvous on Wednesday.

As I left the office for lunch, my phone buzzed, and I looked down at an incoming text from an unknown number. I opened it.

-- Ron. Randall here. Would like to talk. Important. Can you call me on this number?

I really didn't want to call Randall. But what if it was in any way linked to what had happened that Friday night when I'd bumped into him and ended up fucking Donna? That Friday night still had the potential to really fuck things up for me. And I knew I had to deal with it.

OK, fuck it. I pressed 'call'. The call was answered almost immediately.

"Hi, Randall. It's Ron."

"Hey, Ron. Thanks for calling. I got your number from a friend-of-a-friend. You at lunch?"

"Well, kind of. I have a lunchtime meeting," I lied.

"Oh, shit, I really wanted to talk."

"Sure, Randall. I have five minutes now. Can we do it now, on the phone?"

"Well, Ron, not really. Joanne says she's seeing Louise for a drink on Thursday night. I think it should be before that. In fact, today would be best. Before I get home and talk to Joanne tonight."

Oh no. What now?

"Eh.."

"Man, you'll really want to talk to me. I have sooooooooohh covered your ass!" Randall laughed.

"Oh?" I replied.

"Joanne asked me last night about when we met a few weeks back. It was a Friday night. You remember, at the mall, you know, I was going to watch a game at the Sports Bar. Anyway, I think I got you covered. But, if I think what went down is what went down, we better get our story straight. Way Joanne spoke, could be very bad for you if Louise thinks something specific happened that night. Joanne spoke to the friend-of-a-friend, and maybe you're in some trouble."

Shit!

"Randall, I can do 30 minutes now. That's all I really have time for."

"OK, Ron. There's a deli near the Fire Station. You know it? I'm just finished meeting with the Fire Department. I'm basically there already."

"I think so. Ehm, 'Fair Deal'?" I asked. It was an upmarket deli I'd been to a couple of times.

"That's the one. See you there, OK?"

"I'm on my way," I replied, "I'll reschedule my meeting."

==

I arrived at the deli around ten minutes after I'd hung up on Randall. I saw Randall sitting at a table in the corner. He had a brown paper bag in front of him.

As I walked over, Randall stood up.

"Hi, Ron. Good to see you. Been a long time. Can we take this outside? Better to talk there. You want to grab something to go, first?"

"No, Randall, it's OK. Let's do it."

We walked outside. The thin grey-suited Randall strolled to the far end of the parking lot. He had a feminine way of walking. It reminded me how much I'd enjoyed fucking 'Raquel'.

I followed a few steps behind. Randall stopped near a large silver SUV, then turned to face me. I noticed that his eyebrows were shaped. Femininely.

"OK, man. I don't know exactly what kind of shit you're in with Louise, not all of it. But I'm pretty sure based on what Joanne said you're having some problems."

I said nothing.

"Anyway," Randall continued, "Let's just say a friend-of-a-friend spoke with Joanne. She mentioned some stuff, and Joanne put two and two together and possibly got five. I think she actually got four, so I decided I'd cover for you. I said you watched the game with me that Friday night."

"Ah, OK. Thanks, Randall, but there was no need."

"Ron, I think there was. I didn't really go into detail about this when we hooked up, you know, the four of us that time, in the hotel. Anyway, you know all about Raquel. So, anyway, I do, I mean Raquel does, some amateur porn work. Well, not amateur, I get paid. As Raquel, you understand? I think you know who shoots the movies. The friend-of-a-friend. So, she gave Joanne some information. Not detailed, she was kinda discreet. Well as much as she can be. That woman can be stupid sometimes."

"Oh," I said.

"Now, there's an additional complication. Joanne told me that Louise was having an affair with that Evan dude. What's his name, Hunter? No, Holmes, that's it. I mentioned it to Donna. Then I worked things out for myself. Thing is, I now know it's Joanne fooling around with him. She can be pretty stupid too. I practically caught them at it in a bar. That's twice now. But Joanne thinks I believe her, and she thinks it was me spilled the beans on her cockamamie bullshit story to you. And she thinks that this caused a problem between you and Louise. Now, first time it came up, I said I didn't tell you jack shit. However, the way the conversation went last night, Joanne told me Louise had been asking her a lot more questions, so I really thought you were deep in the shit, and despite the fact I know it was Donna told you the thing about Louise, yep, the 'friend-of-a-friend', I fessed up. I said it was me told you after I'd had a few beers that night. Joanne faked some angry bullshit, about how I got Louise in trouble, but I took one for the team. You got that, Ron?"

"Well, Randall, if you put it like that. Thanks."

"No worries, man. Now, I'm not looking for no quid-pro-quo. I've got a thing going on myself Joanne doesn't know about, and Joanne doesn't know the half of it about my porn sideline. So, her fucking around with this Evan dude works out just fine far as I'm concerned. I was never gonna marry her anyway, and I think we're reaching the end of the line. And it gives me time to focus on my own, ehm, priorities. And I'm still fucking Joanne, for a little while longer. She's got this sweet ass I still like to get into, but you know that yourself. Anyway, I'm waiting for this Evan guy to make his mind up about what he wants to do with Joanne. Donna told me that he has this thing going with his old therapist that's coming to an end. I think he needs to finish that before Joanne makes her final decision. To be honest, I stopped giving a shit couple months ago."

"OK, Randall. Thanks again. I mean it."

"Any time, Ron, any time. Remember, it's important you get your story straight if Louise hits on you about that Friday night. You know, maybe Louise comes home drunk after drinks with Joanne, Thursday night. I told you already, Joanne and her have already been talking. So, anyway, it was the Knicks we were watching in the Sports Bar. They lost. To the Cavs. That's no fucking surprise. And after that we had a few beers and watched some West Coast baseball. I wasn't paying much attention. I think it was the Giants. Pretty sure it was. Yeah, the Giants. And you can say we talked about how we hooked up that time at the hotel. And tell Louise I told you Joanne keeps on asking to do it again. She actually does. Anyway, that shit will totally tie in with some background I gave Joanne about our 'non- meeting' that night. So, when they talk, what they got from me, matches what Louise gets from you. I mean if you have to say anything. Best policy is probably keep quiet unless Louise brings it up."

"Randall, thanks for this."

"Ron, you don't have to thank me. I felt it was the right thing to do. And.."

Randall stopped speaking as a woman entered a red car next to where we standing.

"You ever have to talk about that night, keep it to the Knicks game, they lost to the Cavs, it ain't like Louise is gonna check the score on nba.com, and that you remember me saying Joanne's keen on a re-run. Say you don't remember the rest. You make a lie too complicated, that's when it all falls apart. And, one other thing, Ron."

"Oh. Yeah, Randall?"

"I spoke to Donna this morning. She is also down with our 'story'. But I suggest you talk to her. She thinks there might be something long term possible between you two. Up to you, man, consenting adults and all that jazz, but I don't think there is. If I'm right, you need to let her down gently. OK?"

"Sure, Randall. But it's difficult."

Randall handed me a small piece of paper, a white slip smaller than a credit card.

"Ron, I know how these things work. You know, the secret stuff. I'm sure you've got a cellphone Louise doesn't know about. Call this number. Donna's the same, that's the number of her burner cellphone there. I won't tell you what to say, but I can imagine you're capable of getting yourself out of this situation yourself. And one last thing, I recommend you don't go to any more movie shoots."

I looked up at Randall, who saw the surprise in my face.

"It's cool, Ron. See, I saw the pre-edited cut of the Lolita movie. You can be seen in a couple of shots, reflected in a mirror. You're standing near a broad with big titties in a leather jacket. Am I right? Don't risk it anymore. The shots didn't make the final cut, obviously. But it proves you were there, and sometimes mistakes happen. When I pointed it out, Donna got them cut before Frank saw them, so you were lucky there. By the way, Frank is one totally fucking crazy motherfucker! You never know what he'll do if he sees something like that. I've seen him blackmail people into doing shit for him. That little black chick you think is cute, for one. It's not nice. It's little wonder Donna hates him. Oh, if you're interested, the Lolita movie's up on Donna's website. You still got the login details I gave you, right?"

I told Randall that I did.

Shit, the Lolita movie. Me caught on camera accidentally. I hadn't realized how much danger I'd been in. Fucking cameras everywhere. Jesus, Ron! Get with the program.

"Randall. Thanks for this. If I can ever, you know, return the favor.."

"Ron, Joanne does go on about us hooking up with you two one more time. I think she's more into the thing with her boyfriend, the Evan dude. I expect she'll leave me pretty soon. At home, it'll get so she'll start having headaches and shit, won't let me pork her asshole, then I'll know it's time. But right now, she still really goes for the kinky stuff with me. I mean with other people. And me as Raquel. It's always Raquel with other people. Suits me. Anyway, I think she thinks her and this Evan guy is more long term. But, if Louise mentions that her and Joanne talked about it, you know us four, together again, and Louise is like, keen, just say you'll do it. OK? No pressure, but I'm fucking telling you that's the best option for you."

"OK," I answered quietly.

However, I didn't think Louise would be up for it, given her 'no gay sex' proclamation, not with Raquel in the mix. Then my heart sank as I considered a straight foursome, involving Randall as Randall, might be more to Louise's taste. I remembered how much pleasure Louise had got from Randall/Raquel's black cock.

"OK, Ron. Gotta go - play safe."

Randall turned and entered the silver SUV.

"Thanks, Randall," I said once again, before he started the engine and drove off.
