Gay

I have written some other stories, found in the College section, "Colins-Story" and "Chris-Crossed". They are fiction. Some of this story may seem familiar. There is good reason, as my other stories are based on my experience and my fantasy. Here is the true story of my first gay lover. No sex here, so if that is what you are looking for, don't waste your time here.

Adam-5 - The next week they repeated the last weeks meeting. As they sat outside the gate -- this time longer because the dinner went faster -- and Travis said it was time to go, no kiss, but this time Adam risked a little as he said, "Travis, I love you". "Thank you, Adam. I love you too." "I told my friends that you're my dad. They know you're not but they're cool with it. See ya' next week?" "Sure". This continued for several months. Occasionally Travis would get in a word about Adam attending church, but he didn't press the issue, and that suited Adam just fine. "Edie," Travis said, "How old was Adam when his dad left?" "I think about 10 or 11. Why?" "He seems so starved for attention -- affection! Whenever I drop him off at the end of one of our evenings together, we hug goodbye, and he clings to me as if I won't ever be coming back. I wish he didn't feel so insecure with that. You know, he refers to me as his dad - to his friends." "Yes, I think you mentioned it once. Do you think the boy's growing too attached to you? I mean you're not his father. Did I say `boy'? He's almost 19! After all this time -- it's been almost a year -- does he seem at all interested in getting more active in church? That is why you started this thing, right?" "As a matter of fact, Adam asked me if I would come to a single adult church service with him on Sunday". "You're already seeing him once a week. Isn't that enough?" "I really am excited that he even suggested it. It would not interfere with our meetings on Sunday mornings". "Sunday mornings? Plural? You mean it will be more than just this once?" "You can come if you want, Edie". "No thanks. Oh, by the way, the bishop called to ask if you could sing a song at the father-son camp-out." "Well, that's fine and good, but my son is out of state. Why can't they - " "Maybe you could ask Adam to go? If you think he can stand that much church stuff all at once" "I'll call and ask him"

Notes: This is the only "notes" I will post. it will always be the same. Please feel welcome to write if you want to comment. Please put "Adam" in the subject area. Thanks. I am Steve. s4d@hotmail.com
