Authors Note: This is a new story I have been working on. I originally was writing it specifically for ADISC so that I could get feedback on my writing style. Unfortunately, someone figured out who I really was and got me removed from ADISC. So with nowhere else to post the story, I am putting it up here.

Now on to my generic disclaimer!-

The story you are about to read contains diaper use, violence, adult language and strong sexual content. The following is evil, illegal, should be banned, and all that other blah, blah, blah. If reading a coming of age story of self-discovery about pre-adolescent and adolescent boys that wet their beds, wear diapers, and explore their awakening sexuality with each other does not tickle your pickle (or if the law in your area says that pickle tickling is illegal) then don't read it.

Chapter 2: Thursday November 14th, 2013 - 9:12am

When I awoke the next morning my mind was a little foggy. I was trying to remember why I was on the couch and at first I was drawing a blank. After a few minutes though, the fog started to lift and I remembered how I fell asleep on the couch the night before. I figured that when Mom came home last night that she had decided to leave me there instead of making me go to bed.

Curious to the time, I looked at the clock on the wall over the TV. Suddenly, I was aware that it was much later than I realized. I saw that I was already late for school and of course I had missed my bus.

Quickly rushing now to get ready for school I hollered out to my mom hoping to wake her up as it seemed that she too had overslept that morning. "Mom I am late for school and need a ride!" I hollered as I jumped into my morning shower. I had totally forgotten that the car had broken down last night. My mind was more worried about being late than remembering the event that had my mom coming home late.

As soon as I was done with my shower I went directly to my room and hurriedly got dressed. It wasn't until I made it back out to the living room that I noticed that the apartment was unusually quiet that morning. Any other time that I might have overslept, Mom would have been yelling to me to hurry it up! But that morning Mom hadn't said a thing. I went out to the kitchen expecting her to be there with my breakfast and drinking her normal pot of coffee, this was her morning ritual. Instead, like the rest of the house, I found the kitchen empty and quiet.

"Dang! Mom must not have heard me!" I thought to myself as I went to her room and knocked on her door. "Mom, wake up! Were late and we got to go!" After knocking several times I tried to listen through the door for any signs of my mother getting up. What I heard was silence. I again banged on my mom's door this time much louder. I also shouted to try and wake her up. I was sure I probably woke someone else up in the building that might have been still asleep, but there was yet no sound or peep coming from my mom's room.

It has been a while since I entered my mom's room when the door was closed and I hadn't been invited, but I found a nagging fear build in me. As my hand turned the nob I found myself thinking horrible things. I was starting to think that I was home alone and that there was no one in Mom's bedroom. I tried to tell myself that it was just a silly fear and that I would open the door to see Mom still asleep in her bed, tired from all the work she had to do the day before.

I could feel the door latch pull out of the door frame and I slowly pushed it open. Afraid of what I was going to find, or rather what I wasn't going to find, I instinctively took a large breath and held it as my mom's bed came into view. As my eyes darted around my mother's bedroom, my fears turned to reality. My mom was not in the room.

"What the... I mean how... It couldn't be..." I thought out loud. Before I could complete a thought, it was cut off by a new one and so for. Then a memory came to me. A memory of when I was littler and my mom liked to hide and scare me. I use to love trying to find her, knowing that as soon as I found her hiding spot she would jump out and scare me. It was all part of the game that we played. I began to wonder if it was possible that Mom was doing this as a joke and she was just hiding, waiting to jump out and scare me. I grabbed that idea and hoped with all my heart that this was the case. I searched the entire apartment. Each room and all the closets, I even checked in places that I knew she could not have been hiding. I don't know how many times I checked then re-checked, but eventually I realized that I was all alone.

Panicking, I ran out of the apartment and down the stairs. I flew through the door at breakneck speed and once outside I looked for my mother's car. As I scanned the parking lot in front of our apartment building, I could not locate mom's car anywhere. And as fear built inside me I remembered the exact nature of Mom's phone call yesterday and remembered that her car had broken down.

"Maybe she stayed with a friend or something happened and she wouldn't be home until later today." I continued to panic as I thought out loud.

Of course I knew this was nonsense as my mother would have called me and let me know if she wasn't going to make it home. In fact I knew that there was no way she would have allowed me to stay by myself overnight. Then I remembered that I fell asleep early and that Mom may have tried to call me after that. I ran back inside our building and back up the stairs to our apartment. I did not slow down until I reached the phone. I looked at our answering machine full of hope, which was immediately crushed when I saw that there were no messages.

Worry and fear were closing in on me and no longer thinking about how late I was going to be for school or how hungry I was, I collapsed in a heap and began to cry! I had no idea what to do. All I could think was that something bad had to happen to keep Mom from coming home or at least calling me! As the tears continued down my cheeks, images of my mother being hit by a car or hurt by some stranger washed over me. I began to fear that she was hurt and was taken to the hospital and that she must be unconscious and that was why no one had called me or came to get me.

As I wiped the tears and tried to get control over myself once again, I made a decision. I got up from the floor and again wiping the tears from my face, I picked up the phone and dialed 911.

"911" I heard the calm voice of a man at the other end of the line.

Panicked, I didn't know what to say so I said nothing as my mind tried to recover from all the fear I was currently feeling.

The man on the other end not hearing anything from me repeated himself. "911, is there someone there?"

Still not sure what to say, I began to cry once more.

The man's voice remained calm as he tried to help me calm down. Finally he managed to get me calm down enough to answer his questions. It took me a while but I was able to explain to him how I came home yesterday and got the call from my mother. I told him how I had fell asleep before she came home and upon awaking this morning and after getting ready for school, found that she had never came home. I tried my best to tell him my fears about her possibly being hurt and maybe in the hospital.

"Please remain on the phone with me until the police arrive. We will do everything we can to find your mother." The operator stated as he got all the required information he needed.

He continued to keep me calm until the police had arrived and as soon as I heard them at the door I thanked the nice man and hung up the phone. I then ran over and opened the door and saw 2 policemen standing there. I let the officers inside the apartment and even though I already told them I had checked everywhere in our apartment for my mother, they insisted on doing their own search. Of course they too did not find my mom or any clues to where she could be. I explained to them exactly what my mom said when she called me on the phone yesterday and they informed me when I asked that they were checking hospitals for my mother. They also informed me that they sent someone to my mom's work and was checking all possible routes between there and our apartment for any clue of where she might have broken down at.

Soon other officers showed up including some who were not wearing their uniforms. Again I was questioned and I was starting to get more upset each time someone asked me to once again repeat myself.

Eventually I met the guy who I was told was in charge of locating my mother. His name was Lieutenant Michaels and he seemed like a nice man. He too questioned me including wanting to know if there were any relatives that I could stay with until they found my mother. He specifically asked about my father.

"I don't know my father's name or where he lives. Mom never told me anything about him." I explained to Lt. Michaels.

"What about your mother's parents, your grandparents that is?" He asked.

"My Grandmother died when I was little and my Grandfather died last year." I explained.

""What about any other relatives?" The Lt. prodded further.

As far as I knew, my mom was an only child and there were no other relatives that I knew of. I explained this to the officer and he wrote something down in a little notebook he was holding. In fact he had been writing in that notebook almost from the time he arrived to now. Not sure what was going to happen to me, I managed to get enough courage to ask him.

"Well, we can't leave you here alone. We have requested someone from Child Protective Services to come and collect you until we can locate your mother or another relative." The Lt. explained.

To be honest, I wasn't real thrilled to be taken by someone I did not know to a place that I was not familiar with. I had been living in this apartment with my mother now for several years and I was use to these surroundings.

I had several more questions but the Lt. informed me that he did not know the answers and that as soon as the CPS worker arrived that he or she should be able to answer my questions. He did try to encourage me by telling me that they would most likely locate my mother soon and that I would be allowed to come back home when they did so.

So for the next hour I watched TV while waiting for the person to come and pick me up. By then, most of the police officers had left and only 2 now remained with me. One of them was nice enough to help me with getting something to eat as it was getting close to noon and I had yet to even eat breakfast. I ate the sandwich and chips and drank the can of pop that he had given me while watching a cartoon that I found on TV. In fact I had guzzled the can of pop quickly and decided I wanted another. By the time the CPS Worker arrived I had actually drained 3 cans of pop and was working on my fourth.

The worker quickly took charge when she entered the apartment. She instructed me to pack some of my clothes and a few of my toys and books. She even helped me do this. I ended up using my book bag and as soon as I had all of the stuff packed that I was taking with me she ushered me out the door. The 2 officers followed behind us and made sure that the apartment door was locked.

I was taken downstairs and out to the workers car which was identified as a State CPS Workers vehicle. The worker opened the back door and instructed me to get inside. I tossed my bag inside and then got in and buckled myself in as instructed by the worker. We soon were driving off to the unknown.

Here I was, a small frightened child, and I was ... All Alone!
