Now here is....

Hearts Combining (Chapter 11) ****************** (Previously)

Now we are on the bus, Joey and Chris took it upon themselves to entertain Andrea for the night. They are in the back of the bus talking and watching movies. Josh and James decided that they wanted a little alone time, so they are sitting in the front of the bus. And me? I'm laying here in our bunk. Yeah I said our bunk. Justin and mine. Justin is laying beside me with his head on my chest. I'm playing with his curls, and thinking about us. Us being Justin and I in the past and present, but Brian, Kevin, Justin, and I in terms of present and future too.

Justin looked up at me bring me out of my thoughts.

"Your thinking again about our relationship!" Justin said.

"How know?" I asked questioning his logic.

"Because everytime you do, your eyes get this soft blue color. Chris do they know that we are both still pretty much virgins?" Justin asked playing with my chest hair.

"Yeah babe. I talked to Brian about it. He said that he and Kevin are too. They have both fooled around a little with each other, but nothing else. Kind of like us, we have never done anything major." I explained.

"Yeah I know, but I'm not ready to give myself yet. Is that okay?" Justin asked sounding almost like Jase for a second.

"Baby I would wait for you until the day I die if I had too. You are my everything. I'm not going to just give you up over something like that!" I told him everything that was deep inside my heart.

"Thank you babe. I love you!" Justin said sleeply.

"I love you, now go to sleep! I will be here in the morning!" I whispered.

Justin quickly fell asleep. Looking down at him, I fell in love all over again, just like I had done seven years ago! ************************* (Now we continue)

Knock.....Knock....Knock

Pulling the curtain back and stuck my head of into the hallway.

"Hey Jess...whats up? Why are we stopped?" I asked fighting back sleep.

"Mike called me and said that he needed to fax some stuff back to you. Plus the buses needed gas. So we are stopped for about 20." Jess whispered trying to be quiet.

"Do you have it now or do you still have to pick it up?" I asked swinging my legs out of the bunk causing Justin to moan and then roll over towards the wall.

"I have to go pick it up. I just wanted to let you know that it was here." Jess said starting to walk away.

"Hey Jess...wait up. I will walk in with you. I need to get some stuff for the bus anyways." I said standing up and pulling on a pair of shorts and a shirt. Turning towards Jessica, I found her staring at me.

"You know that I have to be one of the luckiest girls alive. I'm one of the few that have gotten the chance to see all six of you guys in every state of undress. If only one of you were straight." Jess said trying to look upset.

"Wait until I see Ryan again. We'll see what he thinks of you looking at all six of us." I said walking up to her.

"You wouldn't. Wait no...You would." Jess said grabbing my arm and walked off the bus.

"Hey Chris can I ask you a question?" Jess asked as we walked towards the truck stop.

"Yeah sure."

"Who is this contract for?" Jess asked.

"I'm building up a strong staff. I have you as my supporting assistant. I have Fatima and Wade as my stage routine staff. And now I'm adding one of the last parts, I looking for a great PR person. I'm asking Andrea today to stay on tour with us. Do you think that this will cause a problem?" I asked stopping and looking her in the eye.

"Chris, you know that I trust your judgment. If you feel that we need her, then we need her. On top of all that, this will take lot of the pressures off of the two of us. What does Johnny think about it?" with one look into my eye she found her answer. "He doesn't know. Then who is approving the contract?"

"Adam is. You know me, I'm not backwards about calling Adam." I said starting to walk toward the truck stop again.

"Yeah I know. That is what all of us like about you. So how are the boyfriends?" Jess asked slyly.

"Boyfriends? What do you mean by boyfriends?" I said trying to play dumb.

"Don't even try that shit with me. I have talked with Brit and Jen both. They have told me everything, so don't even go and play dumb with me. Now tell all!"

"What is there to tell? I have three boyfriends. I love them all. And they all love each other. Jase loves them too. So for once in my life, I'm happy with everything."

"I'm happy for you. You deserve to be happy." Jen said.

We entered into the little store like thing; I quickly set out for buying some needed supplies. After grabbing about $40 worth of stuff, I met Jess at the counter waiting on the woman to come back with the fax. Setting all of the stuff on the counter, I noticed a vase full of red and white roses. Pulling five of the red and then one white rose out of vase, I added them to the pile of stuff already on the counter.

Finally after about 20 minutes, the woman finally shows back up with the fax. By now I'm tired and starting to get pissed.

"I'm sorry that it took so long. Okay it will be $4.00 for the fax, ma'am." The woman said looking straight at Jess.

"Excuse me?" I said looking at the woman.

"I'm sorry sir this has nothing to do with you. I was talking to this woman!" The woman said spinning her head around with a cocky jerk.

"Well for your information. You will be talking to him because this fax is actually for him." Jess said trying to hold her temper in, but knowing I was close to losing mine.

"Well then sir, it will be $4.00 for this fax." The woman looked at me with a glint in her eye just daring me to say something.

"I'm not paying that, especially after it has taken us almost a half hour for you to come back with it." I said trying to suppress my temper.

"Well then I will ring you up for the rest of this stuff and you can be on your way." The woman said and then ripped the contract in half.

I was pissed now.

"Okay you listen here now. I want to see your boss right now!" I yelled through my teeth.

"I'm sorry but he is too busy to come out here right now. So you are just going to have to be happy with what you got and then leave." The woman said leaning over the counter and getting into my face.

Sticking to my ground, I moved closer to her. "You don't have a choice. You either get him out here now or I promise you that you will never have a job better then working at McDonald's. I hope you can say "do you want fries with that!" I spoke through my teeth once again. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see that Jess had the radio out, ready to call security at anytime. Plus just by the look on her face, I could tell that she was scared. Jess had never seen me to mad, and normally I don't ever get like this, but this woman hit a nerve in me tonight.

The woman stared into my eyes for a second; seeing that I wasn't going to back down, she pulled away. Walking over to the phone, she punched some numbers and waited a second.

"John...I need you at the front counter please." Pause... "No I need you here right now!" Quickly she hung up the phone.

"He will be here in a second." The woman said refusing to make eye contact.

A moment later, a fairly young man walked in from a small hallway.

"Can I help you?" the man said.

"Yeah, this woman here decide that she was going to take a half hour getting a fax sent here, and then gets snotty with me when I refuse to pay for it. Oh and have I mentioned that she has been rude and shitty to your customers too?" I asked remaining as calm and collective, but my mind was still on defensive mode.

"Is this true April?" the man asked her.

"Yes but he was being rude to me. And he threatened my job too." The woman tried to explain.

"Give me the fax." The man told the woman.

"Uhm...I don't have it anymore." The woman whispered looking towards the ground.

"Now tell him why you don't have it!" I said cutting in.

"Because I just ripped it up." The woman said.

"You did what!?!?!" The man exclaimed.

"I ripped it up because he refused to pay for it." The woman explained but knew that she was losing the battle.

"Right now you are going to go in there and get another copy sent, and then we are going to have a talk." The man demanded.

"Yes sir." The woman said looking at the ground as she walked towards the hallway.

"I'm so sorry about all of this. She'll get you that fax. Is there anything that I can do to make up for everything?" The man said in an almost pleading tone.

"Actually there are two things that you can do. One is that you can pick up the tab on all of this stuff that we have. And secondly, you will fire that girl." The negotiator in me started to reveal itself.

"Yeah we can do both of those things. Is there anything else?" the man asked.

"Yeah...what is that woman's name?" I asked.

"April Brown..." the man said just as the woman started walking towards the counter again.

"Take down that name Jess. Uhm...Can you tell me where we are?

"You're just outside Salt Lake City." The man said.

"Thanks..." I said as Jess and I carried the bags out of the store.

"Chris stop and look at me!" Jess demanded.

Turning I stared into her eyes. I could tell the she was looking for the obvious.

"Christopher cool your ass down before we get on that bus. If Justin sees you like this, he is going to be upset and then won't be worth anything for the next couple of days." Jess said stating the obvious truth.

Closing my eyes and taking a couple of deep breaths, I looked back to Jessica.

"Are you okay now?" Jessica asked warily.

"Yeah...I'm fine now." I reassured her. "Do you think Just is up?"

"Well it has been almost an hour now since we left. I really don't know." Jess said.

Walking towards the bus, I started thinking about how much my life had changed. Just last week I was planning on starting college and working to make ends meet. Now I'm sitting outside of Salt Lake City with over 300 people under me. I have my six best friends with me and hopefully another soon to be best friend. I have my boyfriend here with me, or at least one of them here with me. I'm doing a job that I love. And there are only four things that I'm really missing right now. If I could just get Jen, Jase, and my other two boyfriends here with me, I could be totally happy.

Walking up to the bus, the light above Justin's bunk is on. Jess must have seen the same thing because she offered to take the bags from me. Turning her down, I figured that if Justin had been up this long then he could wait a little longer. That may seem a little selfish but that is the way that I feel.

Climbing onto the bus, Jess and I walked into the kitchen area and started putting things away. Jess looked at me once she pulled the roses out of the bag.

"What do you want me to do with these?" Jess asked pulling my attention to her.

"Could you take them with you, but leave one. Its going to be a one a day for him." I smiled.

"Oh god! I remember the last time you did that to him. It about drove him nuts. You tortured him the whole time. I don't know what he was doing better, jacking off or singing. That poor boy sang his heart out during that whole time. And when he wasn't singing, he was in the bath room for extended amounts of time." Jess reminded me.

"I do have that effect on him though." I said putting the last bit in the cabinet. "Okay you better it moving to your bus. George is going to be pissed because were running late."

"Okay hon. See you tomorrow." Jess said kissing me on the cheek as she walked pass me. Saying a quick good night to the driver, she walked off the bus. A few moments later we started on our journey again.

Walking down the small hallway with bunks on each side I looked in Justin and mine's bunk to see Justin sitting up listening to music. Quickly undressing again, I crawled in beside him.

"I missed you!" Justin said pulling the headphones off.

"I missed you too babe. Sorry it took so long." Feeling all-warm again since Justin started snuggling against me.

"What were you doing?" Justin asked rubbing my chest.

"I went and got us some food and snacks. I noticed yesterday that we were low. You and I both know with Joe around you have to have food around 24/7." I tried to explain myself to him.

"Was that Jess that was in here?" Justin asked softly.

"Yeah she had to stop and pick up a fax for me, so she came in here to check to see if we needed anything. So I went with her, which was probably a good thing though." I said the last lightly hoping Justin had not picked up on it.

"Why? What happened?" Justin asked sitting up and staring me in the eye.

"We had some problems with the girl at the counter. Needless to say, we ended up with about $40 worth of stuff plus my fax for free, and she lost her job." I explained.

"I'm guessing that the last part was your idea. She pissed you off didn't she?" Justin asked knowing that I'm not easily pissed.

"Yeah she did. I don't know why though. Something about her just went against me." I said laying down in the bunk. Giving one more glance, Justin laid down on my chest.

"I love you babe...." I said running my fingers through his hair. Not hearing any reply, I looked down to find Justin asleep again. Pulling his body closer to mine, I finally fell back into a deep sleep. ********************************

"Okay people we have three hours until we go. I need all department heads in the conference with sector summaries in 30 minutes. Be there or your asses will be mine." I said into the radio.

"Hey Chris you wanted to see me?" Jess asked running towards me.

"Yeah...Did you get everything setup for me?" I asked in an almost begging tone.

"Yeah I did. He won't be here for another 45 minutes though." Jess said seeing the relief full my whole body. "Chris you know that I would do anything you want me too. Oh...Andrea just arrived here. She is in your office."

"Thanks babe!" I said running through the backstage area.

Stopping just outside the door, I stood there collecting myself. Right now would decide how far and quickly I will be advancing with my team. Finally building the confidence that I needed, I walked into the office.

"Hey Chris. Jessica said that you wanted to see me." Andrea asked.

"I just wanted to know if your were enjoying your time here." I said sitting down at the desk.

"I'm loving this. This is totally better than any job that I have ever had." Andrea confessed.

"That's good to know. Can I ask you a personal question?"

"Yeah sure Chris. What is it?"

"How much does your current job pay you? Is it more then $40,000?" I asked.

"Yeah it is. Why?" Andrea was now curious of what was going on.

"Is it more then $100,000?" I asked avoiding her question.

"No it's not. Chris why are you asking?" Andrea leaned forward looking me in the eye.

"I was just wondering. You see I got a fax last night. It had your name on it. I was just wondering if you could look it over really fast. Its just part of our confidentiality contracts. Here you read over it really quick and tell me what you think." I said as I handed her the folder with the contract in it. Giving me a quick glance, Andrea started reading over the contract.

As she was reading, I started going over some other stuff that I had to get done before we leave tonight. After about ten minutes, I heard a quick gasp come from Andrea. I'm guessing that she liked everything on the contract, but I acted like I never had heard anything.

"Chris what is this?" Andrea asked looking up at me.

"What is what? Let me see it." I asked casually taking the set of papers that Andrea was handing over to me. Looking down acting like I was seriously over looking them. "I'm sorry this was for the new Public Relations person that I'm needing. Damn they put your name on it. I guess that I'm going to have to call and have that corrected. Well, unless you want the job."

"Christopher look at me!" Andrea demanded. I stared her straight in the eye. "You mother fucker! You set me up! You had this planned out didn't you!"

Smiling at her, I stated, "Now would I do that? What type of person would that make me?"

"That would make you a thieving, lying asshole who will do anything to get what he wants. Do you really think that could get me this time?" Andrea said playing hard to get.

"Do you want the honest answer or the professional answer?"

"I want your honest answer." Andrea said

"Yes...you just said that you liked it here. I damn well know that you are not going to get a better offer then what you have here. Plus you're good. I can just look at you and tell it. You could be a valuable part of my team. And I only have the best on my team. And I know you have seen that!" I said proving my point.

"And if for some reason I sign this, when do I start?" Andrea asked.

"When ever you want."

"I need to fly back to Orlando, and submit my interview for the magazine. I have it already finished so all I need to do is give it to my editor. I should be ready to start Monday, that is if I fly out tomorrow." Andrea informed me.

"Okay sign those papers and you will have a flight out whenever you're ready." I said handing the papers back to her.

Giving everything one last glance, Andrea signed the contract making her my new PR person. Just as she finished signing everything, someone knocked on the door. Getting up, I answered the door.

Opening the door, I realized that it was now time to start my department head meeting.

"Okay guys, go ahead and go into the conference room. I will be there in a minute. Make sure your summaries are ready, I don't have much time today." I said then turned and closed the door again. "I want you in this meeting. You need to know everything that is going on here." **************************************

The meeting finished an hour later. As everyone filtered out of the room, I pulled Andrea and Jessica back.

"Okay Andrea this is the run down of the job. Jessica and I will be helping you. You provide valuable resources to us now since you are from inside the journalism world. You know what these people are looking for. Along with that, you will have to work with marketing to help open up venue offerings. But I'm going to tell you both as of now, where ever I go you both will be going. So if I am forced to switch to another tour, then you will be switched to that same tour. You are permanent members of my management team now. If you don't like that, then you need to speak up now." I said giving both of them the load down of what is going on.

"I don't have a problem with it. I would be more then happy to go where ever with you." Jessica said

"Me too. I'm in this for the long haul." Andrea said.

"Good. Now I have a show to start and five images to protect. So let's get this ball a rolling!" I said leaving the room. *************************************** "Chris...we are now ready to start third sequence." A voice rang over the radio.

"Any system problems?" I asked back.

"We have one light off, but all others are fully functional. We are at full go!"

"We had to replace mic 3, during switch. Audio is at full go!"

"Pyro at full go!"

"Visual is at full go!"

"Backstage? Are you at full go?" I asked.

"Chris...other then Joey gaining some weight and having problems getting into his costumes, we are at full go!" Jessica rang through.

"Okay people third sequence is at full go!" I said.

I started finishing the last bit of paper work left. In the two hour period of time, I have successfully completed all but two sets of paper work. The paper work that was left is nothing more then staff census and bus billings, nothing major.

Hearing a beeping sound brought me back to reality. Looking over at the corner of my desk, I realized my cell phone was ringing.

"Hello"

"How are things going?" Jen asked

"They are great. I now have a complete management staff. I got Terence's sister to sign my contract. She is now my PR." I said excitedly. "So how are things going there?"

"They are okay. Lynn was here earlier. Terence has been staying here with me. He is really sweet Chris. And he seems to really like Nick too." Jen stated.

"That's good. Now how are you doing?" I asked knowing that she would totally avoid the subject if I didn't ask.

"I'm doing okay. I went to the doctor yesterday. I gave me a clear book of health. He confirmed that I would be due about Thanksgiving." Jen explained with a slight hint of excitement in her voice.

"Well that's good that you're healthy. How is Jase doing?" I asked changing the subject to no upset her.

"He is doing good. He is in bed right now. He can't wait to get Nick back here to play with him." That statement made both of us laugh.

"That's good. Do you need anything?" I asked acting as the over protective person that I am.

"No not really. If you don't mind, can I take Jase with me next week? I have some things to take care of before I'm not able to. I have to people I need to see. Alex and Howie are wanting to go too." Jen asked.

"Where you going?" I asked not really caring though. I knew that Jase would be okay.

"Several different places. I need to go back home. Then maybe to New York." Jen tried to explain.

"Okay...I'm fine with that. It would be nice to see Jase, but I can wait until you get back though." I said giving her my permission.

"Okay Chris, I'm going to let you go. We miss you. Tell the guys that we miss them and that we love them. I love you too. Talk to you later." Jen said

"I love you guys too. Give Jase a kiss for me. Bye"

Looking down at the paper work in front of me, I decided that I better get it done before the show ended. So I went back to it.

Just as I finished the last bit of work Jessica paged me on the radio.

"Yeah hon."

"Chris...the guys are almost done. Are you ready for his surprise?" Jess asked.

"Yeah...I'm on my way. Have Jim get my harness ready!" I said getting up and heading out the door.

"Sure will Chris. It will be ready when you get here." Jess said.

Walking through the maze of hallways and people, I made it towards the audience exit. Walking into the stadium itself, I made my way to the sound booth. Once I got there, Jim had my harness ready. Quickly getting setup and wired, I was ready.

"Chris are you ready?" Jim asked.

"Are you guys ready? And you do know what to do right?" I asked.

"Yeah Chris. We don't forget how to have fun with these guys." Mike said sitting in front of the soundboard.

"Okay then...Jim let's go!"

Slowly I started rising out of the sound booth in the middle of the audience. I was about 10 feet up when Josh noticed me. Trying not to draw any more attention to me as possible, he turned and started singing some place else. Once I was high enough for everyone to see me, I just floated there.

After about a minute, the song the guys were singing faded out and everything went black. A spotlight pointed at me, and Whitney Houston started playing through the speakers.

"Is there a Justin Timberlake here tonight?" I asked the crowd around me. A loud roar of screams answered my question.

"Could Mr. Timberlake please step forward?" I asked.

Another spotlight shined over Justin. With a wave of my hand, I went gliding towards the stage. Another wave of my hand, I started lowering toward the ground. When I was just above the crowd, I stopped. Staring at Justin, I smiled warmly.

"Mr. Timberlake, I have a gift for you. It was sent by a secret admirer." I said.

"Okay...thank you. I think!" Justin said confused.

"Also...the person said that you will receive gifts everyday this week." I said.

Justin looked at me for a moment, and then it finally clicked in his head. I was close enough to see him starting to blush.

I waved my hand sending me up and then started moving backwards. About half way in the arena I stopped. Holding my breath for a second, I started doing flips. Hearing a low click in my earpiece, I knew that I had been switched to a non-audible channel.

"Pyro...are you ready?" I asked trying to concentrate on the continuous flipping.

"We're ready, Chris. Waiting on your signal!"

"Okay on three....One....two...Three!" I said pulling myself into a tight ball.

Suddenly the room was filled with a bright flash and I was on the ground. Opening my eyes, I looked up to see Jim and Jessica looking over me smiling.

"Chris, you're the only one stupid enough to try something like that. But it was a good show though." Jim said.

"We had to turn Justin's mic off. He kept mentioning something about finding a bathroom or something!" Jessica stated still looking over me.

"Keep him away from one. He needs to suffer for a while. I have more plans for tonight." I said to her. "Okay now get me up!"

Jim gives me his hand and pulls me up. I felt a slight pain in my left shoulder. Reaching my hand back, I found the source. Bring my hand back in front of me, I heard both Jim and Jessica gasp. Looking down at my hand, all I seen was blood.
