Chapter 1 New Look

The last day of school came, and Harris and Davey came out of the building holding hands. Friends said their "goodbyes" and "have a nice summers" and headed off in their separate directions.

"So what are your plans for the summer?" Davey asked Harris.

"At the end of June, I have to go to Florida to visit my grandparents."

"Oh," Davey said sadly. "How long will you be there?"

"Probably until the end of July. I'll come back for August since school will be starting up in a few weeks."

"That means I have to go a whole thirty days without seeing you," Davey replied.

"But you have thirty days now to see me."

"Not hardly. It's the ninth of June. Technically I have twenty-one days."

"Well, still, goofball. We are going to have time together. Besides, you are going to be busy with the big demon hunting gig you have going on. It's not like you don't have other people to hang out with."

"You sound so level-headed about this. I'm the one freaking out."

"If you think it doesn't bother me not seeing you for a whole month, you are mistaken. I wish I could spend all summer with you. But I can't. I know I'm going to be busy in Orlando and you are going to be busy here. It's going to be all right."

"Yeah, I guess," Davey said.

Harris kissed Davey on the cheek.

A black sports car pulled up and the horn honked. Ty stepped out of the car in his sunglasses, tight, white t-shirt and jean shorts. He got the looks, as he always did when he came to the school to pick up Davey.

"Come on, guys," Ty called out. "We've got stuff to do."

The two young sweethearts ran to the car hand-in-hand.

"Have you seen Tandy?" Ty asked.

"She should be coming," Harris answered. "I saw her talking to a group of guys at her locker."

"Really? That doesn't very safe."

"For the guys," Davey added.

A scream rang out from the school. The three young men turned to see three guys come running out the doors. Tandy came walking out with her bag on her back.

"Hi, guys!" she said when she saw Ty, Davey and Harris. She came running up to the car with a smile on her face.

"What was that all about?" Ty asked.

"Oh, there these five guys on the football team and they asked if I wanted to have group sex with them."

Tandy's three male friends looked at her wide-eyed and with jaws dropped.

"And?" Ty asked.

"Eww, like I'd have sex with them at the same time!"

"What happened?" Davey asked. "Three guys came running out."

"They got scared. I picked up the wide receiver for the team and body slammed him."

"You can't do stuff like that!" Ty scolded. "People can't know you're a Slayer."

"Yeah, so I'm going to let them take advantage of a poor, defenseless girl? Hell no!"

"Come on. Let's get going."

The four climbed into the car and Ty tore out of the parking lot heading through downtown Columbus.

"What's taking them so long?" Blade asked.

"They'll be here," Weatherby replied. "Just be patient."

"I wonder what Whistler wants," Johnny said. "He invited us here but won't let us in. Why?"

"We'll find out, soon enough."

The black sports car pulled into the long driveway and headed up toward Whistler's mansion. The front door of the house opened and Whistler came out. His long, gray, shoulder-length hair blew in the wind and he scratched his gray beard.

"It's about damn time," he said in his strong country accent.

"Are we late?" Ty asked as he climbed out.

"About ten damn minutes! What kept you?"

"Tandy was hit up for a night of group sex with five members of the football team. All we can say is, thank God football season is over."

Blade shook his head. He turned to Whistler. "Can we go in now?"

"Come on," Whistler replied going back into the house.

The team of vampire hunters followed the Watcher in.

A large foyer with wooden floors greeted them. A chandler hung from the ceiling. The Watcher led them through a doorway into a back room. It was the study of the house.

"Have a seat. I'll be right back." And Whistler headed out of the room.

Davey and Harris sat on the couch and Davey leaned up against him. Ty sat next to his friend Davey. Tandy found a chair and sat putting her feet up on the edge of the cushion. Johnny sat in the other chair and Weatherby and Blade remained standing.

"Do any of you know what this is about?" Tandy asked.

"No," Johnny replied.

Moments later, Whistler entered pushing a wardrobe on wheels.

"You got us a portable closet!" Tandy said enthusiastically. "How thoughtful of you!"

"No, the closet isn't for you. What's inside is?"

Whistler opened the wardrobe and inside hung a bunch of black leather clothes. He grabbed one outfit and pulled it out. "This is for you, Tandy." He held up the hangar to show the new outfit he made for Tandy. It was similar to what she already had, only black. The bottom had a sort of skirt under which weapons were attached to her pant legs.

"Groovy!" she said standing up and holding it up to her. The top still had the cut-out cross. A mask hung from the top of the hangar as well.

"This one is Davey's," Whistler said handing Davey a hangar.

"Cool," Davey replied.

The mask and costume looked similar to what Davey already wore, except for the fact it was full-length instead of a spandex surfing suit. It still had the green strips down the side, as well.

"You are going to look hot," Harris replied.

"You mean I don't look hot now?" Davey said in mock surprise.

"You always look hot."

The two smiled and kissed.

"Why are you doing this?" Weatherby asked Whistler. "You want us to look coordinated as well as be coordinated?"

"You are the biggest problem among the group," Whistler retorted. "You don't wear anything that can conceal your identity. The same with Blade. So I took the liberty of redesigning what you wear to be better concealed."

Whistler pulled out a hangar and threw it at Weatherby. When he held it up, a large skull loomed at him from the front of the leather shirt.

"All I get is a shirt, huh? That's fine with me."

"Not exactly," Whistler replied. "As you may or may not know, the Watchers' Council in England has a vast amount of monetary resources. In other words, shitloads of money. Since I am a Watcher, I have access to the money and you, as well as Blade and Johnny will be wearing leather overcoats."

"Cool," Johnny replied.

"Here." Whistler tossed the heavy garments to Blade, Johnny and Weatherby.

"So we don't have to conceal our identity by wearing stupid masks?" Weatherby asked.

"Not exactly. I purchased these sunglasses for you to wear. They are modified to also read body temperature. So if you are in a crowded room looking for a vampire, the glasses will pick up the body temperature."

"I won't need those," Johnny replied.

"True. When Ghost Rider comes forth, your whole countenance changes. Let's just hope he doesn't decide to melt the leather jacket I purchased for you."

Whistler passed out the rest of the costumes, including a new leather cloak and jumpsuit for Ty.

"Come with me," Whistler replied.

Everyone stood and followed Whistler through a doorway leading down to the finished basement of the mansion. He opened another door leading to a narrow tunnel. They followed it to the end, which was an open vaulted room. Inside rested lots of computer equipment, advanced weapons, and several automobiles and motorcycles.

"You were kidding when you said the Council had resources," Tandy replied. "When do we try it all out?"

"Tonight. I figure you can try out your new equipment tonight."

"We need a name," Johnny said.

Everyone turned their attention to him.

"Some way to affiliate ourselves, to unify us as a group. Something that describes us and lets the world know our purpose."

"The world isn't supposed to know our purpose," Blade replied. "The world doesn't want to know what goes bump in the night. They want to be ignorant. Ignorant helps squelch any fears they might have."

"Still," Whistler replied. "It could come in handy if the Council ever wishes to contact us. I don't think any of you want to be referred to as Whistler's group by them."

"No," Blade, Ty, and Weatherby said in unison.

"The mutant group has their own name," Ty added. "The X-MEN."

"Marvel Knights," Harris said.

All eyes went to Harris, but it was Davey who said, "What?"

"How about calling yourselves Marvel Knights? Each of you is a marvel at what you do and you are like knights, fighting to protect the innocent from the dark forces of evil."

"I like the sound of that."

"That is a good idea," Whistler said. "Anyone opposed?"

No one replied.

"Good. There is a small gymnasium through the double doors. Go change into sweats and practice."

Harris watched his boyfriend disappear behind the double doors. Whistler walked up to him and placed his hand on Harris's shoulder.

"How good are you with computers?" Whistler asked.

"Pretty good."

"Would you like to help me here with the computers while they patrol?"

"Sure," Harris replied.

"Come over here and I'll show you the features of these units."

In a short amount of time, Harris was using the computer system like a pro. He had the special features down to a working understanding and felt he could maneuver throughout the system and use the different programs.

Whistler was standing at a monitor scanning the latest headlines in the surrounding areas when everyone came out of the gymnasium

"That was fun," Ty said.

Whistler pressed another button and a readout of what transpired in the gymnasium rolled across the screen. "It seems your use of magic is improving with better accuracy and more intensity. Very good, Ty."

"What?"

"The computer is hooked up to several sensor devices in the gym. I can monitor everyone's practice and compare strengths and weaknesses."

"Cool."

"You should all go shower up. Harris and I will get dinner and bring down. Afterwards, you can suit up and go on patrol."

Everyone nodded and headed back to the showers. Tandy went off to the one designated for girls while the guys headed over to the one marked for guys.

This situation would normally have been very uncomfortable for Ty. He was the only heterosexual straight man on the team. Davey, Weatherby and Johnny were gay. Blade was bisexual. Ty would have cringed at the thought of showering with a bunch of gay men. But through Davey and Harris's relationship, he learned many things about gay men. Sure, they find men attractive, even straight men. But gay men do not lust after sex all the time. He could handle the showering.

Davey undressed and went into the showers. He was shocked and amazed at the large endowments of his friends. Even Ty, who was not much older than him, had a rather long dick.

"Whew," Davey whistled silently. He noticed Ty looking at the guys in the showers. He walked over to Ty and whispered. "Were you thinking of switching sides?"

"What?" Ty replied. When he realized what Davey meant, he added, "No! What makes you say that?"

"I see how impressed you are with their endowment. You're not bad, yourself."

"What...what does it taste like?"

"Fleshy is the best way to describe it. It has a unique taste. I mean, you can't suck on your fingers and find out what it tastes like. It's different than that."

"You've sucked one before?"

"Once."

"You little shit! You are way too young to be having sex!"

"It was only once. I was staying with the guys I used to hang out with and they were all horny and wanting to have group sex. I wasn't sure so all I did was just suck someone."

"Did he cum in your mouth?"

"Yeah, but I spit it out. I don't want to get AIDS."

"You could still get AIDS from that. If even a drop goes down your throat or gets mixed with your saliva or if you have a cut in your mouth, you could get AIDS."

"Oh," Davey replied. "Thanks. I didn't know that."

"You're welcome."

After a moment, Davey asked, "So are you thinking of trying it out with another guy?"

"No," Ty answered.

Davey saw the look, though. Ty was curious, obviously. At least he was considering what it was like being gay. If more people considered what it is like, not so much the sex part but in general what it is like, maybe things would be a bit easier. You know the old saying, "Walk a mile in someone else's shoes."

Davey licked his lips at all the large cocks dangling in the steam, caressed by the dripping water, and he quickly showered and exited.

"Now's not the time for a jerk-off session," he said to no one in particular.

When the team finished, they dried off and dressed in sweat suits. Harris and Whistler got their food and everyone had a nice dinner. After cleaning up the food, the team went back to their locker rooms and suited up in their new costumes.

When they came out, Harris whistled impressed. "You guys look great!" he replied.

The team nodded. Harris walked up to Marvel Boy. "You really look good," and he pecked Marvel Boy on the cheeks.

"Thanks, handsome."

"You will take note of the bulletproof material," Whistler said. "There are weapons strapped to your wrists and legs as well as pockets containing vials of holy water. Any questions?"

No one responded.

"Follow me. We'll talk about the vehicles and all the bells and whistles you guys get."

The team followed Whistler over to the first motorcycle. Harris followed next to Marvel Boy with his arm around his waist.

"Both motorcycles are equipped with these stakes that come out the front. You can use a silver one, since vampires created that way by the disease are allergic to silver, and one is wooden. In the compartments in the back rests one of each stake as well as two vials of holy water and a cross.

"One of the cars has silver spikes that come out of the grillwork. The other has wooden stakes. In the trunks you will find a small arsenal for dealing with the vampires. There are guns full of silver bullets amongst the wooden stakes and spikes. The guns range from pistols to fully automatic rifles. Tomorrow you can target practice.

"Any questions?"

The team nodded no.

"Then what the hell are you standing here for? Get your asses out there and find the vampires!"

The group laughed and they climbed on or into their vehicles. Marvel Boy kissed Harris and climbed in the car. The engines revved to life and Whistler and Harris watched as the Marvel Knights headed out into the night.

To Be Continued...

A new series has started. This should be a fun one.
