This is entirely from my imagination, with a little help from already established sources. This story is based loosely on the comic book character "The Punisher" from Marvel Comics. Other characters may appear from Marvel comics as well as DC Comics.

Punisher and all related characters copyright Marvel Comics.

Blade and all related characters copyright Marvel Comics.

Author's Note: This storyline will be the final installment for "Marvel Knights". I hope you have enjoyed the run as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Many issues that have come up in the last storyline will be resolved in this story line. Again, I hope you have enjoyed its run. Thank you.

Chapter 8 Rain On My Parade

When the boy band finished their performance, Whistler had Blade and Michael escort them off stage. Ryan and his boyfriend were escorted over to the Knights while the remaining three were escorted someplace to cool off.

"What's this about?" Ryan asked. "You want to fuck us with your twelve-inch cocks?"

"Nothing could be farther from the truth," Michael replied.

"I'm not doing no old man," Ryan said when he saw they were heading toward Whistler and Strange.

"You're not doing him."

"He better not be thinking of doing me."

"Shut up," Michael replied.

A scream rang out and caught everyone's attention. "They're going to jump!" All eyes turned and saw at least thirty people, for no apparent reason, climbing over the wall to jump into the Olentangy River.

"If they jump, they could get killed."

"Looks like mass suicide to me," Strange said.

"It's him," the Knights realized and went to work.

Ty and Tandy were the closes to the jumpers so they got to the wall first. Tandy tossed light darts at the jumpers hoping that it would make them not want to jump. For some it worked, but for others it had no effect.

"My darts aren't working," she called out to Ty. She grabbed someone and pulled them over the wall. Ty grabbed another and did the same.

Shortly thereafter, Davey, Michael, Blade, Marc, Whistler and Strange were pulling people over left and right. The spectators were too busy dumbfounded by all that was going on to do any good.

A few jumped into the water.

"They're not trying to swim!" Davey noticed.

"I got them," Michael replied as he climbed over the wall and leapt into the water.

"I'm helping," Blade replied, followed by Marc.

"We still need to stop the others!" Whistler looked panicked.

Strange and Ty looked at each other and instantly knew what the other was thinking. They stepped back, held up their hands, and said, "Saeptum!" An invisible wall held the would-be jumpers in place.

Tandy jumped in the water to help the others fish the suicide-attempters out.

The fire department as well as paramedics arrived on the scene to check people out. Whistler and the others answered their questions as far as what they saw, along with the other spectators. The attempters snapped out of their trance-like state and said that they felt this urgent need to end everything. Most of them were going through normal stressors in life, nothing that would make one want to commit suicide. This only confirmed for the Knights that this demon was somehow responsible.

Afterwards, Ty and Tandy took Davey back to the mansion while Whistler and the others went to the Crowne Plaza Hotel where the boy band was staying. Dr. Strange and Marc decided to hunt for the evil force causing others to commit suicide. With as much power exuded from the mass suicide, they believed it would be easy to track the flow of dark energy.

When Whistler, Blade, and Michael arrived at the hotel, they went inside and asked for the room the boys were staying. At first the receptionist wasn't going to give out the information, but Blade told her he and Michael were their bodyguards. After checking the system, she found their names and told them the room number. The three headed to the nearest elevator bank and took the cart up to the tenth floor where the boy band stayed.

The doors opened and the three men walked down the hallway and found the room. Whistler took the initiative and knocked first. There was some shuffling inside but no one came to answer the door. Whistler knocked again and called out Ryan's name. "Open up!" he said.

Michael brought his foot up and kicked the door. It was no use. It was solid. That's when Blade brought his foot up and kicked the door. It blew off its hinges and they stepped inside. On the bed were Ryan, his boyfriend, and the three other guys that made up the boy band. They were naked and had cocks in mouths and asses.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Ryan said.

Michael wasted no time. He walked up to Ryan, grabbed him by the throat and jerked him off the bed causing his cock to come out of the guy he was in rather quickly, loudly and painfully.

"Ouch, shit! That hurt!"

"You'll live," Michael said.

"Who, the fuck, are you?"

"We're your bodyguards," Michael said. "And you are going to tell us everything you know."

Once the boys got their robes on, they were seated on the beds. Blade replaced the door and Michael did his best to fix it. Whistler sat in a chair facing the youths.

"We have something very important we need to talk with you two about," Whistler said referring to Ryan and . "We know what happened with Davey in Orlando. I will not waste my breath and tell you what a horrible thing you did to cause Davey and Harris to break up. Harris stayed away for seven months because of the pain Davey caused him, pain that you two are the source of."

"I thought you said you weren't going to waste your breath on it."

Michael took a step forward and lifted his hand to backhand Ryan. Ryan jumped back and fell of the bed, cowering on the floor.

"No," Whistler said.

Michael backed off.

Ryan climbed back on the bed. Once he was situated, he said, "Davey wanted to do it, too. He isn't the victim here."

"Very true. He wanted to do it. The opportunity was supplied by you boys. You did it not because of any feelings you had toward Davey. Frankly, that part I don't give a fuck about. But there are two things I do care about. One, the issue of you doing it only to hurt Harris. Using sex to hurt others is wrong."

"What's the other thing?" said as if the first thing were of no importance to him.

"The second thing is that Davey has a disease which only affects mutants. And seeing as how you were the only ones to have sex with him, you two are the carriers."

Ryan and looked at each other. Then they bolted for the door. Blade was able to grab but Ryan got away. Michael took off after him out the door. The elevator doors opened up and Ryan dove in. He hit the lobby button and the doors began to close. Michael was able to get inside before the doors could close. With a smile on his face, Michael said, "Now it's just you and me, and the time it takes for this elevator to reach the lobby."

Ryan lost control of his bodily functions and left a wet spot on the carpeting.

The elevator doors opened up at the lobby and several people looked in to see Ryan standing completely naked and Michael standing next to him without so much as an expression on his face. The women put their hands over their mouths in shock. The doors closed and the cart began it's ascent up to the tenth floor.

Michael and Ryan entered the room and Ryan made no fuss. He walked into the room and sat down on the bed. Blade looked at Michael wondering if he crossed the line like he did with the youth in the hospital several months ago.

"Tell them everything you told me," Michael said.

Ryan nodded.

"About a year ago, we were approached by this really rich guy named Dr. Nathaniel Essex. He looked kind of scary, sort of like a vampire from an old black and white movie. Anyway, he said he wanted to invest in our future as singers. He knew somehow that we would make it big.

"Essex also knew that we would come in contact with Davey. He said Davey was special, but didn't tell us why. I guess because he's a mutant. He said Davey had to come into contact with this substance, that it would save the world. I couldn't figure out what he was talking about.

"The only way the substance could be introduced is if it were somehow injected into his system. He didn't think Davey would be a willing participant so the only other option was to lace our semen with the substance and have sex with him. He said we were attractive enough."

"How did he lace your semen?"

"It hurt," Ryan's boyfriend answered. "He injected it into our balls. Dr. Essex said that the reproduction of semen would also reproduce the substance needed to inject Davey."

"So it could still be making the substance as we speak," Blade said.

Whistler nodded. "We need you two boys to come with us back to our lab. We want samples of your semen so we can analyze the substance."

"Is everything okay with Davey? What is this disease doing to him?"

"It's killing him. And we don't know how much time he has left."

"Will this stuff kill us?"

"So far, we don't think so. It's only affecting mutants."

Ryan and got dressed. Then they went down with Whistler, Michael, and Blade to the Suburban and went with them back to the mansion.

The six males entered the mansion and Ryan and looked around in amazement.

Ty came down the steps and narrowed his eyes at the two youths.

"Is Davey here?" Ryan asked. "Can we see him?"

"Not now," Whistler said. "Right now, we need your samples. His life is more important than you two catching up with him."

"I'll take them downstairs and prep them," Michael said as he escorted the two through the hall to the back stairwell.

"Harris is coming over," Ty said.

"When?" Whistler asked.

"Some time tonight. Tandy got him to come over to talk with Davey."

"Does he know?"

"No. We figured it would be best if Davey told him."

"Hopefully Davey won't have to. It seems these two young men were injected with the virus by Sinister."

"Why would Sinister do that?"

"They said he could see their futures. Could it be he can see into anyone's future? Maybe Davey is going to be a threat to him sometime in the future."

"So Sinister is having him killed before he could be a threat. The son of a bitch!"

"These boys carry the virus. We might be able to create an antivirus from their semen. That's how they transmitted the virus to Davey."

"So not only did the threesome destroy the relationship Davey and Harris had, it also is destroying Davey's health. I'd love to get him in my cloak for a while." When everyone looked at him puzzled, he clarified his statement, "You know, the dark dimension that I can send people to. I want him to experience what they put Davey through."

Whistler nodded and went downstairs.

"How is Davey?" Blade asked.

"He's doing okay now. I can't believe how this virus is acting. One minute he's fine. The next he's throwing up blood and hunched over in pain. Then he passes out. He hunched over in pain and passed out on the way back here."

"I hope to God we find an antidote to this."

Dr. Strange and Marc entered the mansion looking very stern.

"Did you find this bastard's lair?" Ty asked.

"We have a general idea. The creature knew we were coming and caused another small mass suicide. We did what we could to save the people. By then, he was gone. We do know what direction he was heading."

"Where?"

"East toward the airport."

"Then we'll check that out as soon as possible," Blade said. "We have the carriers downstairs."

"Really? How did they contract the disease?"

Blade explained the story. When he finished, Dr. Strange looked thoughtful. Then he said, "Sinister could arrive at that information by either mystical or mutant means. You might want to check with Xavier to see if he has any mutants with precognitive abilities that can see far into the future. Cerebro might have them on file. If he does, cross-check with any that has connections with Apocalypse and Mr. Sinister. That would narrow the list considerable as to where he's getting his information."

"But what good would that do."

"Knowing where the leak is coming from would clue us in to how to seal it up."

Blade nodded and went downstairs to Whistler and Michael.

"Have you gotten a sample yet?"

"No," Whistler replied. "They are having problems getting aroused. Their teenage boys, for god's sakes. They should be ready, willing, and able to cum at the drop of a hat."

"They're scared out of their minds," Michael replied. "Of course, fear can sometimes make the sex intense."

"They're not having sex. They're beating off into condoms."

"Don't we have porn on file for them to view?" Blade asked.

"I'll be back," Michael said heading up the stairs.

As he got to the foyer, the doorbell rang. Tandy was coming in from the study to answer the door. He waited a moment just to be sure it wasn't anything evil coming to attack them. Tandy grabbed the doorknob and turned. The door swung open and revealed Harris on the other side.

"Harris!" Tandy said excitedly. "Thanks for coming! Come in!"

Harris entered and she gave him a hug. He looked over at Michael. When he released his embrace, he walked over and hugged the large, muscular man.

"It's good to see you, Harris. You've changed a bit."

"I've been through a lot recently."

"Are you doing okay?"

"As well as can be expected. Is Davey here?"

"Yeah. He's up in his room."

The two men went upstairs and Tandy returned to the study. Michael went to his own room while Harris walked up to Davey's door. He lifted his hand but couldn't bring himself to knock. The old painful feelings came back and he felt nauseous.

'You have to do this, Harris,' he thought to himself. 'It's the only way you can move on.'

His hand came down on the door.

"Come in," his former boyfriend's voice greeted.

Harris grabbed the doorknob and turned it. The door swung open and he stepped inside. Davey was sitting as his desk reading. He turned around and, when their eyes, met, both boys froze in place.

Harris was the first to break the silence. "Hey."

"I didn't expect to see you come over here."

"Me, either."

Davey stood up. "Here, come sit down."

Harris walked over and sat on the bed. Davey moved over and sat next to him.

"So...what have you been up to?"

"Traveling, trying to get rid of the pain you caused me."

"I'm sorry about that," Davey apologized. "I didn't mean to do any of that."

"Don't be mad but I find that hard to believe. All the signs pointed to it. I was just too blind to notice."

"What are you talking about?"

"Davey, haven't you looked at us? We are two completely different people. You're gorgeous and thin and beautiful and fun. I'm, well, none of those things. I'm average looking, could stand to lose a few pounds, and about as interesting as a wet noodle. It was bound to happen that gorgeous guys would want to be with you. You know, most people tend to date with like people. You and I, we were doomed from the start."

"Harris, listen, I don't blame you for hating me like you do. What I did was wrong. I got caught up in the moment and, honestly, the only thing I was thinking about was having sex with two guys. I didn't take into consideration your feelings and how what I was going to do would affect you. And I'm sorry for that.

"What I sang today was for you. I wanted you to know that I want things to work out between us. I think we can heal the pain and move past it."

"Davey, what happened can't be healed with a song. It isn't a little matter of me thinking you choose your friends over me. This is about you sharing a part of yourself with someone other than me. People may think sex is trivial, or like a handshake or something. And if they want to, that's fine. But when it interferes with their relationships, they need to rethink their answer.

"I'm sorry, Davey, but we can't be together."
