"Oscar Parker's Texas Adventure"

Chapter 15

There are events that bring happiness in folks. The time spent with Brad, kept Nevada from being lost, but not truly happy. He knew he was the happiest being with Oscar.

Lillian Parker's birthday bash was now three days away. It appeared that the cooking was too much for the family to handle after all, so Oscar was having it catered, which made perfect sense. Just the same, Oscar still hired a student from the culinary school, supplying a salary, plus room and board. Jenny was limited having a broken arm and getting help with cooking and cleaning solved that problem.

Nobody had met him yet, and Oscar hadn't brought him to meet anybody. He was not a cowboy, but a housekeeper. The ranch hands knew his name was Ryan.

Lillian Parker was not impressed with all this birthday hoopla, and wished Oscar hadn't come up with this wacked out idea. There were plenty of old women in their eighties, in Texas. She was just taking her place among them.

Lil insisted, NO PRESENTS, folks were invited for dinner, but `no presents' and she meant it. She telephoned every invited guest reminding them not bring a present. "I don't want them," she declared, however, birthday cards kept arriving in the mail.

The three cowboys, Nevada, Brad, and Wayne, were sitting and talking. "Are you for real, moving out of here next week? Nevada asked Brad.

"Yeah, why the fuck are you doing that?" "Interjected Wayne. " There is plenty of work here for all of us and Oscar will hire somebody else, hell, that's nuts."

Nevada ran his hand along Brad's leg and Wayne squeezed the other leg. It was obvious they really like Brad. They worked well together; they also had sex together as a private club of cowboy love. None of them were faggots, screaming or not, they just liked being together.

"I really don't have to move on," grumbled Brad. I will speak with Oscar. I am sure it will be okay with him. I was never that close to Wayne, until Nevada got here. This good-looking fucker has a way of bringing out the best in people. He has brought the three of us together. Damn, I would miss that."

"I don't look at men," continued Brad, I am straight, but I like looking at Wayne in the nude. I wait for shower time, to see him with no clothes on,"

"You can't get much straighter than that. Be careful there Bradley, words like that get my pecker hard." whispered Wayne. Then I will just have to fuck you," he giggled.

"You both get me hard," confessed Nevada now sitting between them. There was a stack of male flesh only inches away from Nevada`s hands. – Whew!

They laughed, stood, and did a group hug. Wayne grabbed for a feel on Brad's cock with one hand and Nevada's cock with the other hand. They were not aroused but still a handful. It was something Wayne would never have done a month ago; but now things were different, he loved these two cowboys.

No sooner had they set back down, when the bunkhouse door opened and in walked Adam and Sergio. They had been at the house, helping Oscar setting up picnic tables for an on-slew of company. The barbecue now, was two days away.

"We met Ryan," Sergio announced. He is a cook and housekeeper but can lug heavy tables around pretty well. I expected him to be more of a `dandy,' but he seems like a decent kid, you know – a regular dude."

"He doesn't talk much," added Adam. "It's probably because he doesn't know us. I doubt he even realizes that we are cowboys."

When Adam and Sergio was out of hearing distance, Wayne asked Nevada, if he thought Oscar was fucking Ryan, assuming the young man was gay.

"I don't know. Do you want me to ask him?"

"Hell, NO – I ain't supposed to know about this stuff, I was joking, none of my business who Oscar is plugging with his Donkey Dick."

"Ha ha-ha, it' not that big, he just likes to brag," said Nevada. "It's none of my business, either."

"And none of mine," added Brad. "It's best to ignore Oscar, and not ask questions."

"Right you are."

"Yes, definitely, that's right," concluded Wayne.

Nevada wasn't entirely ignorant, when it came to Oscar and the way he did things. It made him wonder if Ryan was Oscar's latest adventure. It didn't disturb Nevada; he knew Ryan was second, compared to him. He was that confident in himself, and he was right.

Things were moving along quickly for Lil's birthday. Oscar and Jenny had everything planned with a lot happening in a short time

It was a good idea having Ryan taking on daily household chore, since Jen was recuperating from playing Tarzan in the tree.

Adam commented that her fat ass was the reason the branch gave way and broke. He was being funny, since Jen wasn't heavy, just a tomboy, who still liked climbing trees. She could have spent her time baking pies, but climbing, was to her, a bonus.

The last three days flew by with excitement taking place over common sense. The bunk house boys washed, and spruced up in their Sunday go to meeting' duds. They looked fine, and Nevada, was a showstopper, no surprise there.

He bought new clothes making sure everything was masculine and coordinated. His denim jeans purposely faded projected a `touchy' look. A tight western pale blue shirt with white pearl buttons ran down the front to a tapered bottom. He left the few top buttons open exposing a fuzzy chest topped with golden tan skin. The shirt disappeared downward behind a wide leather belt with a huge silver buckle. His boots, rich brown leather, were clean looking.

There you have it, whenever, there is a spotlight, Nevada has to be in it, so no need to talk about it; he is just that kind of wrangler.

When cowboys get together for a hoedown, or rodeo, Nevada is an attraction for women. There are other cowboys, besides him, who attract women, and they enjoy doing it. Nevada dreaded it, and happy being anywhere else.

Brad, was taken with a young gal named Gracie, while attending Lil's birthday bash. They were dance partners for a line dance, and sat together having dinner.

Nevada watched folks feasting on delicious Texas beef, and flocking around Gram Lil. He paid no attention to Brad and Gracie. He just didn't.

Nevada went to sit on the front stoop, getting away from the people filling plates with food. He leaned back in a rocking chair and put one leg up on the banister. His black cowboy hat pushed back with hair curled around his ear and peeking over his forehead. The greenish-grey color of his eyes glancing downward at a manicured fuzzy reddish-golden beard was noteworthy. His legs were open, of course, and that pose alone, could be disturbing. Even without trying, he was purely dessert.

Somebody handed Nevada a beer and plunked down in a chair beside him.

"I brought you a cold one," said the young man. "I'm Ryan, I know who you are, and everybody knows the handsome Nevada."

"Thank you Ryan, I know who you are too, so this is perfect."

"Oscar saw you on the stoop. He handed me this beer and told me to take it to Nevada. Of course, I knew who Nevada was - so here we are."

"Yep, here we are, and I am glad, that gram is getting help. Jen actually needs the help with cooking and cleaning. You have heard it before but, "Welcome to the Parker Ranch."

"I told Oscar I could cook and clean, when he came to the culinary school, looking for a woman, to help out temporarily. It didn't have to be a woman evidently, because I got the job. What do you think about the barbecue?" Ryan asked hinting for a little praise.

"It looks "plum mighty good," and folks are enjoying themselves. I know the party is catered, but figure, you, and Jen added the tasty dishes."

"Thanks! – I can understand why Oscar is always talking about Nevada. He praises you highly. As for Mrs. Parker, I still can't bring myself to call her gram, maybe in time. She is sweet, but tough, and really in charge around here. Well anyway, she likes you too, I can tell."

"You are learning fast. Grandma Lil is top gun, for sure. I really fancy that lady," confessed Nevada.

The screen door opened and Oscar came out caring a plate of thin slices of beef on crackers. Bite size meant for munching along with drinking beer.

"These are excellent, tender, and juicy. The sauce topping I don't recognize. Is it one of your secrets?" Oscar asked Ryan."

"Yup, I learned it in a cooking class, but I ain't talking, ha ha-ha."

Jen called Ryan inside to help with something, so he jumped to it, and disappeared in a flash.

Oscar didn't talk about Ryan. His focus was on Nevada. "Gaud, you look super today. We have catching up to do," he whispered, almost pleading." Don't stop loving me."

"I wouldn't do that, I can't. It's crazy how we are connected, but not together. It won't always be that way, and I am hanging around," confessed Nevada.

"Oscar replied wanting to scream how he loved Nevada, to the world, but not yet. Their relationship was constantly marked with the word, "Later." If only they could say, "Saddle up – we're riding, to the shack in the canyon," however, that too, would have to wait. This day belonged to Lillian Parker.
