Send Me An Angel Chapter Four By Sophie V. (wind_phoenix@hotmail.com)

Nick lay on the big couch, a big smile on his face. He just stayed on his right side, looking at Brian, who smiled in his sleep, hugging Nick, his arms around his waist. He was completely worn out since their love session, earlier. Nick giggled a little as he remembered how crazy Brian was. His screams could have alarm the neighbors about what they were doing if he hadn't muffled them with kisses. He loved that. Brian screaming his name in pleasure was one of the things he loved the most to hear... with him telling him "I love you"... or again "Marry me".

Nick hugged him Brian tightly as he remembered this moment. In a park in Vancouver, in Canada. The sun was sitting, it was beautiful. A perfect moment for two persons deeply in love... like them. They were walking, hand in hand, when Brian found a good spot to watch the sun set. They sat in front of a tree, their arms around each others, watching the sky slowly turned in different shape of warm colors. "Isn't that beautiful, Nick?" Brian asked. "Yes, it is." he answered "I like to watch that... it's beautiful..." Brian turned around and kissed him lightly on the cheek. "And so romantic..." he said. Nick blushed lightly, turned around and kissed him passionately on the lips. Brian gladly returned it and pushed his tongue in his mouth, playing an erotic dance with Nick's one. At that time, he only cared about Nick and the kiss. Of course, they could be surprise by someone but since there was nobody, they didn't care. "Mmm..." said Brian as he broke the kiss "You taste so sweet, Nicky..." "What test sweeter?" asked Nick, winking at him. Brian blushed and squeezed lightly Nick's thigh. "Everything about you taste sweet... happy?" he said, grinning. "Since you kissed me for the first time, I'm the most happiest man in the world..." said Nick adoringly, looking in his beautiful blue eyes. Brian smiled widely and pulled him in another passionate kiss. Nick gladly kissed back and hugged Brian tightly. The two young lovers continued to kiss for several minutes and when they finally broke it for air, Nick lay against him, his head on his chest, while Brian leaned against the tree. "I love you, Nick." "I love you too, Brian." "Nick?" "Yes, Brian?" "Do you want to stay with me... forever?" "Of course, Brian..." said Nick, clutching at him "I want that since a long time." "Me too... Nick?" "Yes?" Brian gulped and finally said it. "Marry me." Nick sat up straight, his eyes widened opened. Brian jumped a little by his reaction. He knew that Nick would be surprised but he didn't expect that. They looked at each other for a few moments, not knowing what to say. Finally, Nick spoke. "You... I..." That was all that he could say. "I'm serious, Nick." Said Brian. Nick said nothing, so he continued. "Nick... I know that we're together for only a few days but since the moment I fall in love with you, I knew that we were meant to be together... I want to spend my life with you, I love you so much..." "Brian..." said Nick. He felt the same way... last night, he even dreamed that Brian and him were getting married... a beautiful dream. "But..." said Brian, hesitantly "If you... if you're not ready, it doesn't matter... I could wait for you forever, Nicky." Nick was still looking at Brian, saying nothing. He wanted to whisper, say or even scream "Yes" but he was so surprised that he didn't know what to do. Brian was worried. Nick was still saying nothing. He looked down at his hands, feeling tears in his eyes. 'Oh god... what I have done?!' he thought 'What if he hates me? What if he thinks that I pressure him, which I don't? What if...' He stopped dead as he felt a hand slowly stroking his cheek. He looked up and saw Nick, smiling his angelic smile. Then Nick took him in his arms and kissed him passionately on the lips. It was a short kiss, but yet a very nice one. Then Nick said. "Yes... Yes, Brian, I'll marry you!" he said, truly happy. Brian immediately stopped to worry and smiled too, a tear of joy streaming down his face. He put his arms around Nick's neck and pulled him in another passionate kiss...

And now, several months later, he was there, lying on the couch of their house with him sleeping in his arms. They had planed this... to live together when they'd finished the tour with their false rivals, the NSync. And once they'd done their world tour... Nick would have a new name. "Nicholas Gene Littrel..." he whispered, smiling. He knew he had to wait a long time, but as long as he'd have this name, he didn't matter too him... When Brian and him talked about their wedding with the others, a few months ago, when Justin had asked who would changed his name, Nick had immediately answered. "I do... It will be Nick Littrel." "Good." said AJ "It sounds kinda cute." "Of course it sounds cute!" said Brian. He didn't look surprised about Nick's answer, because they didn't talk about it before... actually, he was very glad. At the beginning, they wanted to wait until they went out of the closet to the world, but then something happened. Nick lost his smile and hugged Brian closed to his heart. It would never happen again. He didn't want to loose Brian another time. That was why they decided to get married at the end of their following tour... They never wanted to be separated again. "We'll be together forever, Brian." he whispered as he kissed the top of his head. Then he remembered something. 'The ring.' he thought. He looked down at Brian and saw that he was still asleep. 'Good... I'm going to buy his ring and gave it to him when he'll wake up... just like he does to me yesterday...' He smiled and slowly released himself from Brian's grip. He then took him in his arms very delicately and went in the bedroom. He put him on the bed and put the covers on him until he could only see Brian's head. He walked toward the bathroom, took a quick shower and came back in the room to dress. He then walked toward the desk, took a paper and a pen, wrote a note and put it on the small glass table of the room. He walked toward Brian and kissed him delicately on the forehead. Then he heard a 'Wa!'. He turned around and saw Tike, looking at him curiously. "Shh... stop making noise." he whispered, trying not to wake Brian. Tyke bent his head and continued to look at him curiously. Nick just rolled his eyes, took his coat and wallet and exited the room. In the hallway, he took his keys and saw Tyke coming toward him while barking. "Shhh! I told you to be quiet!" he said sternly to him. Tyke looked at him with puppy eyes causing Nick to laugh. "Look... don't wake Brian, okay? I'll be back in a moment." he said. With that, he exited the house.

"You're sure that we shouldn't do something?" whispered Joey. "Look, I really don't know." whispered Chris back. "I don't even know if he knew that we're looking him." "But... He's like that since twenty minutes!" whispered Joey "I'm getting worried." "Yes, me too." Whispered Joey The guys had a pause of a hour before they started to work again... and since the beginning of their pause, Justin was sitting on a table, doing nothing but staring into space. He seemed in deep thought, and Joey and Chris, who were looking through the slightly opened door didn't really want to disturb him... but the fact that he was in this state for a long time was worrying them. "I wonder what he's thinking." Said Chris. "Perhaps he's thinking of the new album." Said Joey, shrugging. "Yeah... but you don't think that it's strange to think at the new album like 'this'?" he said, pointing at Justin. "Eer... Yes, it is." Admitted Joey. "What are you doing?" they heard behind them. They jumped a little and turned around, seeing Lance and JC. "Jeez... You're scared me." Said Joey. "Sorry, but what are you doing, anyway?" asked Lance. "You know it's not polite to spy." "Yes, dad, we know." said Joey with sarcasm "But something is wrong." "What is wrong?" asked JC "And where's Justin?" "Well... your boyfriend IS the problem." Said Chris. "Uh...?" said JC, confused. "Well... he's keeping staring into space sitting on the table since a long moment!" said Joey. "Really?" said Lance as he and the others looked back through the door. "Yes... do you know what's up with him?" asked Chris. "Maybe..." started JC "Maybe what?" said the others. "Maybe... he's thinking about..." "Thinking about what?" said Joey "Come on! What it's all about?" "The accident... earlier..." finished JC. They all stayed quiet, looking at JC and then at Justin. "You think so?" asked Lance. "Maybe... you know, I'm not sure." Said JC "But you remember what he said earlier? That he saw the accident in his dream?" "Yes." Said the others. "I'm going to talk to him." Said JC as he entered in the room, trying not to make noise.

Justin was sitting on the table, staring into space. His face was empty of any emotion. He then closed his eyes and remembered what happen. It happened fast... but to Justin, it was like an eternity. His eyes closed, he could still hear and see everything... the braking of the car and... the collision... the woman who was bleeding pretty bad and... the man. Something was wrong. He didn't know how to explain this. He just knew. Plus he remembered something. The flash in his mind at AJ's party. * They continued to kiss until Justin saw something in his mind. A flash. And then something who came close to a door. What, he couldn't say. Then there's another flash and he broke the kiss and opened his eyes, seeing nothing abnormal.* This door... he recognized it earlier after the accident... The door was made in wood and have a sign saying 'Rest Room'... It was the door of the room he was actually in. "Does this thing mean something?" he thought, still eyes closed "Something is going to happen? There?" He took a big breath and slowly breathed out. "Or... is something already happen? This 'something' which went toward the door of THIS room... does he look at me? Is 'it' in the room, now?" Then he heard something. Someone... or 'something' was walking in the room. He started to get nervous. What did he have to do? Whatever 'it' was, 'it' was coming toward him. He remembered that feeling... A few months ago, when he felt the spirits who were coming toward him and his friends... Red and black... red like the car, the blood and the cape of this man. But he was fighting them... but he was scared... But it was over! It couldn't be them. "No... not them..." he whispered very lowly. Nobody could have heard him. A flash. Something coming toward a door... the same door. Then another flash. Justin was starting to tremble. "God... there're back... no..." he thought. Then he felt a hand on his shoulder.

The most horrible noise that everyone had heard in the building. It was heard by everyone in the studio. Justin had screamed, totally terrified. If he was at a competition for the highest scream of terror, he would had won very easily! He calmed down, opened his eyes and saw JC on the floor, a hand on his heart, looking at him, very scared, as if he nearly had a heart attack. He frowned as he saw him and looked toward the door. Joey, Chris and Lance were tightly hugging each others, absolutely terrified by Justin's scream. There was a silence. Then, Justin stood up, looked around him and looked at JC. He closed his eyes and sighed. Even if it was only JC and his band mates who made that noise, he could still heard his own heartbeats. He opened his eyes one more time and a few seconds later, he saw... Darkness...

"Mmm... Maybe this one." Said Nick as he entered in the store. Since a moment, now, he was searching for a good jewelry store... and he didn't find yet a good one. "This time, I hope it will be good." He thought as he started to look for the department of the rings... after all, the store was big and there was a lot of different jewels... watches, necklace, pendants, bracelets... in short, all the jewels that you would asked for. "I hope they have..." he whispered before somebody cut him. "Can I help you, sir?" He turned around and saw a girl, about 19 years old, with short blond hair and green eyes, smiling at him. "I... I search the rings, please." He said, fearing that she recognized him. "No problems." She said "Follow me." "Good... she don't seem to know who I am..." he thought as he followed her. As he walked in the store, he looked at all the people present. They all looked between thirty and fifty years old. "Good... no teenyboppers... I hope they won't recognized me, yet." He thought "There, sir." Said the woman. Nick looked at the department and smiled. It was HUG. He knew he could find easily a beautiful ring for Brian. All the rings he saw in front of him were really beautiful. "I wonder if he'll buy a ring for him." He heard the woman said. "Sorry?" he said, looking at her. "You were saying something?" "No." Said the woman, surprised. "Oh." Said Nick. As he restarted to look at the rings, he remembered something. Earlier, he heard Brian's thoughts. And now, he seemed to have hear her thought, since she seemed to have said nothing. 'Oh my god, I can hear the thoughts of... everyone!' he realized, shocked. He shook his head and said to himself to calm down and to think about what happen later. "Um... Do you engrave rings?" he asked to the woman. "Yes, we do." She answered. 'Why Nick Carter wants a engraved ring? Is he getting married?' she thought "Who... engraved it?" he asked, a bit panicked by the fact that she recognized him. "It's our specialist." She said pointing at a man at the opposite side of the store "He can do it very quickly, and it's free." "Good, thanks." He said, smiling. He was glad that it wasn't that girl who would did it. If she knew what he wanted to engraved, it could be catastrophic. He looked back at the ring and about ten minutes later, found the one he wanted. A golden ring, with a several white little diamonds on it... a cute one. It was in an opened velvet white little box. "I would like this one, please." He said, pointing at the ring. "Sure" the girl said. She pulled a pair of keys out of her coat and unlocked the glass-door. She opened it, took the ring with his box in it. "You want to engrave it?" she asked. "Yes, please." He said. 'Strange... I wonder if he has a girlfriend...' she thought as she smiled at him and walked toward the 'specialist'. "Shit... I must do it fast..." he thought, a bit nervous. They arrived near a man, who was in the forty. He was behind a counter and had behind him some instruments who was surely useful for the engraving. "Simon, this client wants to engrave his ring." The girl said. "Okay." Simon said, smiling. She put the box with the ring on the counter and Simon asked to Nick: "What do you want to engrave, sir?" "Uh..." said Nick, unsure if he must said it since the girl was still with him. 'It will be interesting to know.' she thought. "Great!" he said, anxious. "Sorry?" she asked, confused. "Uh... I wanted to know if you have different kind of silver rings, with sapphire stones." He asked, hoping that she left. "I don't know. Do you want me to look for...?" she asked as Nick nodded. "I go, sir." She said as she walked back to the store. Nick felt relief as she left him. "So, mister, what do you to see in the ring?" Simon asked. "Uh..." he said, turning back to the man "Nick & Brian Forever" "All right." Simon said as he took the ring and started his work. Then the girl came back. "I'm sorry, sir, but we don't have these rings anymore. Do you want to look in our catalog and to command it?" she asked. "No, it's okay." He said, smiling. She nodded and saw that Simon was engraved the ring. 'Shit! He already did it!' she thought. Nick smiled at that. 'Oh well... I'll asked him after Nick exited the store.' "Oh shit!" Nick thought. As he searched for a way out, Simon turned around and gave him the ring. "It's done, sir." Simon said. Nick took a look in the ring and smiled. It was perfect. "Thanks." He said as he placed the ring in the box before the girl had a chance to look at it. She sighed lightly, and walked away. Nick pulled some money out of his wallet and gave it to Simon. "It's free, sir." He said. "No, I want to give you this and in exchange, you don't tell her what I asked to write in the ring." Nick said. "No problem, sir." Said Simon, smiling "There's no need to give money for this. You know, one of my son is gay and I don't mind at all." "Thanks... it's mean a lot to me." Said Nick, smiling. "I understand... since you're one of the BSB..." he said. Nick looked at him, panicked and getting pale. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone." Said Simon "I'm a professional, and I never tell anyone what my clients told me to write in their jewelry, even if they're famous. Professional secret." "Really?" Nick asked, unsure. "Really." Said Simon, sincerely "I'll only asked for one thing." "Yes?" said Nick. "An autograph for my daughter." He said handing a paper and a pen to him. Nick smiled, quickly signed the paper and gave it back to Simon. Simon thanks him and Nick walked away, smiling at him. He knew that he could believe him. As he paid the ring (expensive one, 5000$), the girl walked toward Simon and asked him what he wrote in the ring. "No, no, Cindy." He said "You know I don't tell anyone." "Please, dad, it's a Backstreet Boy!" Cindy said "No, don't insist." Said Simon "And if you insist, I won't give you the autograph I ask for you." "You have an autograph from Nick Carter for me?!" she said happily. "Yes, and you'll only have it if you don't ask me anymore what I wrote in his ring." Said Simon. "Deal!" she said happily. Simon gave her the autograph. She kissed her dad on the cheek as she walked away, truly happy, not caring anymore about the ring. Nick had paid the ring and had looked and heard the whole scene. He smiled and exited the store, sure that he was safe, now. "That was closed!" he whispered, happy. As he walked away, he couldn't see a man, with a red cape, who was watching him from the top of the building where was the store...

**************************************************************************** That's all for now! Several of you asked me to write the scene when Brian asked Nick to marry him... so it's done! I hope you like it! Thanks for reading, guys!:) All your comments, bad or good, suggestions and questions are welcome!
