"So, let me get this straight," Anthony quizzed the consortium, but stared at the only person in the world he had discussed his visit at Miguel's with, the love of his life, Roberto, "Robbie came by looking for his speedo he left by the swimming pool after the victory party and happened to overhear you talking to Nicholas?"

As if a ping pong match, gazes shifted to the far side of the table, Robbie grabbing the center of attention. "It's not Roberto's fault at all, if that's what you're driving at, coach."

"Oh? And how would that go?" Anthony switched his concentration of interrogation.

With a forced smile, Robbie tells them, "Well, ya see, I kind of had my fingers crossed behind my back when Roberto told me to swear I wouldn't tell another soul... but," he beamed when meeting Barry's face, "ya see, I'm trying to make an honest go at our relationship," all knowing it was Larry's twin, Barry, "and I knew I couldn't keep a secret like this from my lover."

Barry smiled a toothy grin, hearing the profession of Robbie's love, as if for the first time, still wondering why a nerdy guy like him lucked out, snagging the hottest looking guy on campus. Coming to his senses, or perhaps standing up for his lover, Barry blurts out, "Isn't that great?" With a few comments regarding fidelity, Barry lets on to how the word got passed around, "Larry and me have `never' kept any secrets from each other... right bro?"

Eyes darting from Roberto, to Robbie, a short stop with Nicholas who said nothing, the guys at the table devoted their attention to Larry.

With a smile cracked, Larry agreed, at the same time picking up on the story, "At the time I wasn't so sure about promising Barry, at the same time trying to make a go at it with Edwin." The nineteen and twenty year olds lock eyes for a short interval. "But, like Robbie says, we're trying to see where this goes and I didn't want it to start out by keeping anything from him." Nobody saw, but when Larry said it, Edwin reached over from his lap and wrapped his fingers around Larry's hand. For a moment they exchanged smiles.

"So..." Anthony said. Wanting to wrap it up, asks, "It still doesn't give me a clue to how all of you," meaning the Applegate swim team members, "wound up here."

The rest of the story unfolded as Gil confessed, "Edwin mentioned it to me and I know I should have kept it to myself, but..." things fall into place, obviously the same tale told by Robbie, Barry and Larry, allegiance to their loved ones, when Gil looks to his boyfriend, Mik Vysotsky.

"I think I get the picture," Anthony lets him off the hook.

In conclusion, Mik sums it up with his Russian accent, "I didn't think it mattered if I told the rest of the guys."

Around the makeshift table behind the service station, overloaded with food, friends and family all returned to their individual conversations. Robbie and Barry chatted with Larry and Edwin. Next to them sat Gil and Mik. Next to Mik, Tino sat, chatting with Mik, but at times looking up, glancing in Anthony's direction. Roberto couldn't help but notice Anthony catching his eyes staring back at Tino, offering a slight smile in return.

"So Anthony," Roberto asks, "you had a lot of fun playing with my cousin?"

"Y-you're.... you're cousin?" Anthony replied, shocked out of his gourd. However, instead of Roberto, it's Miguel's case he got on. "Miguel? Why didn't you tell me Tino was your cousin?"

Aimed at joking, evading the truth, Miguel responds, "Well Anthony, I figured maybe you would know by the family resemblance?"

It was Anthony's turn to laugh and make jest, as he says, "You're kidding? How could I ever match up Tino's defined abs to your Porky Pig belly?"

Hurling a friendly threat at Anthony, Miguel says, "Wait til I have you strung up next time Anthony. You'll pay for that!"

"Next time?" Anthony questions, looking at his stringbean lover, as if for approval.

"Remember what I told you Anthony," Roberto says.

Not sure of what', Anthony gives the look of not sure'. Reading him like a book, Roberto answers, "If you're hurting, it's your own fault."

"I'll have to think about it," Anthony replied, reflecting back over the last day, recalling being in the ring with Alfredo, getting his gut bashed in. His stomach didn't really bother him, except for his belt buckle rubbing over the place where the small dowel was embedded in his navel. Everytime he moved, his shirt rubbed on his nips. Even though he had a nice mat of hair covering his pecs, the fabric meant to stimulate his raw nipmeat. His back stung a little from Tino's light flogging, but all in all, the leftover pangs of torture more turned Anthony on rather steal the excitement from his `ordeal'.

Before putting a forkful of pumpkin pie in his mouth, Tino comments, "Sure would be nice to have you over this way again, Anthony."

Of all the torture he's been through, the one thing which made his privates react with a tingling sensation is `the look' Tino evoked, far different from sitting there at the table, donning his dress shirt and jeans, in place of the chaps and leather harness crisscrossing his hairy pecs.

Anthony broke the ice, saying, "I can't believe Tino's your cousin."

After swallowing the remainder of his glass of wine, Tino sums up, "You had a good time Anthony?"

Anthony utters a meek "yes."

"Then what's the difference if I'm part of the family or not?"

Looking back to Miguel, he tells Anthony, "Isn't it good to know you have family who loves you enough to take care of you?"

"Taking care of me is right!" Anthony states, more in a humorous manner which incites lots of laughter.

As conversations carry on around the Thanksgiving table, dessert being chomped down, prepared by Roberto and Randy, Anthony makes several glances to Tino, remembering the prior day's `fun', his napkin on his lap hiding his thoughts. "Huh?" he's suddenly alerted to being talked about.

"We really had a good time, didn't we Anthony?" Nicholas says, grabbing Anthony's attention to attest to the fact. Agreeing, Nicholas further says, "So don't we owe some thanks to our lovers?"

Rising up from his chair, Nicholas walks around the table and summons Randy from his chair, embracing him in a kiss. Anthony follows Nicholas' lead, embracing Roberto. "Owch!" Anthony slips out with, after Roberto touched his back. Miguel gets the death stare from his brother. Nicholas returns to his seat, followed by Anthony, Tino popping out of his chair.

"What do I get? Nothing for making you two feel awesome?"

More an act of humor, rather then serious, the two sandwich Tino between themselves, both fighting over kissing Tino's lips. With attention drawn upwards, nobody saw Tino's left hand, reaching down, only Anthony being aware of his crotch being handled roughly.

"Don't get too carried away, Anthony!" Roberto yelled at him when Anthony began to moan.

Sitting back, enjoying their full bellies, Roberto, Randy and some of the swimjocks begin clearing the table. When Flip gets up to help, Mario motions with his hand, saying, "No, you sit. I'll handle this, hon," a firm hand on Flip's shoulder.

Robbie suddenly asks, "Hey, I just thought of something. Anybody know where Jason is?"
