They shook hands and David went off happily.

We all knew what the others were thinking, that the youth club would bring them in touch with other kids their own age and who knows where this might lead?

Well, you'll have to wait until a future chapter to find out. (But not this one)

Sunday morning was pretty much just Simon and me. The twins spent a lot of time with their mother and had lunch there, and the rest of the time they were getting their things ready for school.

We spent the morning in bed not doing anything in particular, just `being intimate' with one another, chatting, fondling, kissing and generally enjoying ourselves.

We got up at lunchtime and went into the pub for a meal. The pub was busy and when we finally got a table at about 2 o'clock we were very hungry. We ordered our meals and just as they were served in walked David and Mary. As there was not another free table we invited them to join us. David said that he had been investigating places to hold the youth club. I suggested that he have a word with Tony as the pub had some out buildings, and I knew that one of them was quite large with tables for pool and table tennis.

We talked about their kids and Mary said that they would not be going to the same school as the twins, but to a public (or private) school in town.

I pointed out that the local school had a very good reputation and the percentage of university entrants was quite high. David said that he wanted them to have the best education he could afford, so I didn't argue the point further.

Tony joined us for a few minutes during a brief quiet spell at the bar and told us that the boys' visit was doing Moira a power of good and that living with Simon and me did not seem to have affected them. In fact, he said, Ben seemed to be more outgoing than before. I said that he and Simon had become great friends and Simon's maturity was probably reflecting in Ben.

Just then the door opened and a vision of beauty entered the bar. He was in his early twenties, about 5'6" tall with short, dark, very curly hair, firm but not chiselled features, and broad shoulders tapering in a perfect `V' to a narrow waist. He was dressed in a dusty pink pullover, which matched his complexion perfectly and black corduroy trousers.

`Jason' I heard Simon shout.

The vision looked over to our table, grinned and held out his arms. Simon rushed over to him and almost kissed him, but remembered just in time to shake his hand. He brought him over to our table and introduced him to us.

Jason had been Simon's best friends (saying this Simon winked at me) since infancy and was on a visit to our part of the world for a couple of weeks. He had contacted Simon's mother and asked for Simon's address but had mislaid it en route. He remembered the name of the village and thought that the ideal place to start his search was in the pub.

Just at this point the Brown' meals we served so we used this excuse to get home and get better acquainted with Jason.

As soon as the front door closed Simon took Jason in his arms and gave him a long, lingering kiss. `Oh, I've missed you' he said

Me too' said Jason But ahem...'

Oh,' said Simon You've no need to hide anything in this house'

Oh, great, said Jason, then said to me are you gay too, sir?'

Well, firstly you can stop calling me Sir' and secondly, to answer your question, I used to count myself as bisexual, but I seem to be coming (or maybe cumming) increasingly gay these days.'

Yes,' said Simon, but let's just get one thing clear, Jason, whilst Bob and I live together and have sex together, we are not "a couple" so if you and I or you and Bob make love it you won't be treading on anyone else's toes.

Hold on, said Jason, You're talking as if I might be staying here'

Well, I said, I would be most disappointed if you stayed anywhere else'. Jason grinned and shook me by the hand, which soon turned into a hug. I don't have to tell you that the close proximity of this `heavenly body' started the usual stirring in my loins.

My car is in the pub car park' said Jason I'll just go and get my things'

Simon went with Jason, chatting away, making up for lost time.

When they got back they were still chatting and it transpired that Jason had recently split up with his boyfriend and was having a tough time, so he decided to have a holiday, and who better to spend it with than Simon? Simon said that he was now set up in business as a gardener/handyman and suggested that Jason might like to help him get his business off the ground.

Jason said he would be delighted as this meant that they could spend a lot of time together.

`Where shall we put Jason's things?' asked Simon

`Good question' I said and explained to Jason about the twins staying with us and whilst we all had allocated rooms we seemed to have the habit of waking up in someone else's bed.

`Sounds like my kind of place' said Jason.

I suggested to Simon that he put his and Jason's things into the twin room and transfer the twins' stuff into what had been his own room. That way, if we had any visitors upstairs (like, maybe, inquisitive parents) then everything would appear to be above board. I pointed out that this should not necessarily dictate that we would be sleeping in the beds in those rooms.

We also put Jason right as to the customary indoor dress, either naked or short and tee shirt (no underwear) and bare feet. His eyes lit up and he disappeared upstairs to unpack his things.

He came down fifteen minutes later wearing shorts, tee shirt and with bare feet. `Welcome to the "ménage a cinq' I said and he laughed. Again we had hugs all round and I could feel Jason's cock responding to my own half-hard state as we hugged.

Shortly afterwards the boys came in and we introduced Jason to them. They automatically gave him a hug and he grinned, obviously enjoying this.

We told him that that Jason would be staying for a couple of weeks and Bill asked where he would be sleeping.

The same as the rest of us' I said Wherever he ends up.'

When 6.30 came Bill disappeared across the road for his date with Linda and the rest of us settled down to watch TV for the evening. Ben and I sat on the sofa and Simon and Jason sat on the floor at our feet, using our legs as a backrest. They held hands and occasionally kissed or fondled one another affectionately.

I suggested that they should spend this first night together in the double room and said to Ben that he and Bill could have the singles or come in with me.

`No contest' said Ben, I can't speak for Bill, but I'll come in with you.

Simon and Jason went up for a shower and then bed at about 10 o'clock and Ben climbed into my lap as we waited for Bill to return home. At about 10.30 when he came in we could tell that he'd had a good evening and when asked, he narrated the events of the evening with no omissions. By the time he had finished we came to the conclusion that he had single-handedly consummated `race relations' in the whole of our village.

`Where am I sleeping?' he asked.

`Either on your own in the twin room or with Uncle Bob and me' said Ben.

I'll come in with you,' he said but you can count me out on any hanky panky, I'm too knackered'.

We climbed the stairs, had our showers and retired to bed. Bill was asleep within seconds, and Ben and I fell asleep soon after in each others' arms.

Judging from Bill's activity during the night he was dreaming about his time with Linda. Poor girl, she must be worn out!

The next day dawned dull and rainy. Ideal weather for going back to school! The twins went out extra early and my other two `lodgers' stayed in bed until about 10 o'clock.

After they had breakfast they went out to the van and that's the last I saw of them until dinner time.

I went to the village shop as my newspaper had not been delivered that morning only to find that my paper boy had the flu. I bumped into Doc. Brown and he told me that he had been accepted on the staff of the local hospital in the A&E department until he could get his own practise up and running.

I had a doze in the afternoon and reflected on how lonely the house seemed after all the activity since Simon came into my life.

The rest of the week followed pretty much the same pattern, but on the Monday of the next week Simon and Jason made arrangements to go into town to the cinema. At the last minute Simon got an emergency plumbing job and Jason made his own way into town with a view to them meeting up at the cinema.

Simon's plumbing job took a lot longer than he anticipated and by the time he got home it simply would not be worth going out again as he would have missed most of the film.

We went up to my bed at about 11 o'clock, at which time Jason had not come home. Knowing his luck', said Simon, He's met somebody and gone back to their place.'

I was woken by the phone ringing at around 2.30am and I padded down the stairs to answer it, muttering obscenities as I went. It was Doc. Brown saying that Jason had been attacked and he thought that I ought to go to the hospital as Jason was hysterical and needed someone to be with him. I dashed upstairs, woke Simon and we drove hell for leather to the hospital.

I left Simon to talk to Jason while I went and spoke to Doc. Brown, who told me that Jason had injuries to his face, head, arms and hands and it appeared that he had also been given a good kicking. He then asked me if Jason was gay, and I asked him why he wanted to know.

The worst thing of all', he said, is that the attacker rammed a metal bar repeatedly into Jason's rectum and he will have to have surgery to repair the internal damage. There is also some serious bruising to his genitals and again, it looks as though he's had a good kicking. Under the circumstances, I have to assume that this was a homophobic attack.'

I told him that Jason was gay and that I would discuss it with him at length when the shock of the attack had lessened.

We went back into the treatment room and Simon was in tears, holding Jason's hand. He was crossing the park after leaving the cinema to get to the bus stop' said Simon When he was attacked by three men with their faces covered. They told him he was a dirty little pervert and then knocked him about.'

`Has he told you about his other injury?' I asked Simon

`What other injury?' said Simon, and I explained about the damage to Jason's rectum and genitals.

`Doc Brown says that he will need surgery to repair the internal damage to his rectum.'

Simon went white. NOOOOOOOOOOOO!' he screamed, Not my Jason' he wept.

Simon insisted on staying with Jason, so I made my way home alone and tried with little success to get some sleep. The following morning I explained to the twins what had happened and they were deeply shocked. I emphasised the importance of taking care of themselves when they were out and about, especially if they were cruising or in isolated areas, and not take any unnecessary risks.

After they had left for school I made my way back to the hospital and found Jason sedated in a side ward and Simon sitting next to him holding his hand.

David had managed to wangle a slot in the surgeon's `list' for that afternoon. He said that Jason would probably be allowed home after staying overnight, as we could probably give him more care at home than he would get in the hospital, but that he would get the district nurse to call in daily to check progress and Jason would have to return to the hospital after one week for a check-up.

Whilst at the hospital I visited Moira, who had now undergone her surgery and was progressing in leaps and bounds and demanding to be discharged. I reminded her that she should take it easy when she got out and told her that I would not let the twins go home for at least another two weeks.

I went in search of David to thank him for getting Jason such a prompt operation. He said that it would help alleviate Jason's suffering but that he would be in pain for some days, maybe even weeks. `What I really need is to see you as a matter of some urgency to discuss the reason for this attack' he said.

I guessed what was coming as I thought that he had guessed that Simon and I were also gay, and he was wondering about the twins and, more importantly, his son.

I arranged for him to come over to my house at 8 o'clock that evening and we could discuss it.

This was one encounter I was NOT looking forward to.
