Okay, it's time for 18th chapter! Many conflicts are heating up in this chapter. Something for Isaac, Annie, Jayce and Taylor will all happen here. Let's go!

LLL – Chapter 18 – What Goes Around – Bones Shatter (Never Say Never)

Isaac Adams' POV

Today was the last day I was going to be visiting my cousins. I was pretty much all packed up and was just sitting around having a good time with them. Ariel and Ike are pretty awesome.

Ike kept asking me to play video games, "Come one Isaac, we only have one more night together, and we haven't played anything together!"

I flopped over onto the couch more, "But I'm super lazy today!"

Ike started jumping up and down, "Please, please, please, pleeeease!" He was begging me, how could you say no to that?

He got me to play COD of all things. Never seen why people spend their money year after year on the sameish game. Anyways we were playing it for what felt like hours (it was only two rounds) and I was done.

"Ike, I can't play FPSes, I just don't find them fun." Ike immediately turned on his thinking face.

"What about TPS? Third Person Shooter?"

"Gears is okay; you got Gears of War?" He shot towards his game cabinet and pulled out Gears of War 3 with a huge smile on my face, "Horde mode it is!"

We spent hours playing horde mode. Locust and Lambent were being destroyed left right and center by us. Man we were kicking their asses! That is until Dakota started to text me.

Dakota – Hey, are we going to hang out before you leave?

Me – I don't really have a way to get away

Dakota – Say you want to explore downtown by yourself

Me – I'm leaving tomorrow, I want to spend time with my cousins.

Dakota – You said you'd spend some time with me... :(

Me – I know, but things were super busy and I never got time

Dakota – What about the day you went swimming? We could have hung out then

Me – We could have... It would have been awkward though...

Dakota – How so?

Me – I don't know Dakota, I told my parents and cousins that I don't know anyone here...

Dakota – Why?

Me – I didn't know how to explain that I knew you

My phone stopped vibrating every few minutes. Though I was super distracted still. "I'm done, Ike, it's been fun. I'm going to spend some time with Ariel now, okay?"

He nodded, "Okay, some of my friends want to play COD anyways."

I set off to Ariel's room, knocking as I entered, "Hey what's up?"

She was awkwardly sprawled out on her bed watching something, "Netflix, how was gaming?"

"Not bad..." god I sound distracted

Ariel looked over at me, "Okay, Isaac what's up?"

"What do you mean?"

"The way you just said 'not bad...'" she mimicked my voice. "Is it about a boy?"

I immediately blushed, "Shut up..."

"It is; it is!!" She jumped up, "Tell me about him!"

"He's creepy as fuck!"

Her eyebrows raised as she tilted her head. "How so?"

I signed. I might as well tell her now. "His name is Dakota; he lives here. You don't go to the same school. He's been trying to get me to hang out, and I've always said I was busy. He got someone to check the pool for me that day and sent a picture of us to me..."

"Creeper! Get rid of him!" A look of disgust went across her face.

"It's not that easy Ariel."

She shrugged, "Sure it is. Tell him to get lost, and ignore him whenever he tries to talk to you." Wow, that sounds really easy now that she says that. "Told you it was easy."

I rolled my eyes at her, "Shut up." And then my phone went off.

"That's him isn't it?" I looked and my phone and nodded, "Let me see." She took the phone from me, right out of my hands.

"Hey, I haven't even read it yet!"

She looked at me, "You seriously told him that?" I blushed; she must be talking about the knowing him thing. "Wow, this comment, no matter how rude, it like ten percent valid."

I grabbed my phone from her. He sent me a fucking paragraph!

Dakota – Seriously? You didn't know how to say, "I know this guy who lives in town and I want to go hang out with him?" It really is that fucking easy, Isaac. The other day you would say we would hang out, I went to the park to meet you. Nothing, no one came to hang out. I ended up at a friend's depressed. Honestly Isaac, how fucking hard is it just to man up to this?

"Wow..." Was all I could say.

Ariel looked at me, "Seriously kid, you got a problem that you should just let go of."

"Ya think?" She smacked me for that. "I feel really bad about everything that's happened though. I don't think I could just walk away from it..."

Ariel rolled her eyes, "Seriously Isaac, you got to do something."

"I know." What exactly? I have no idea. I'll wait until I get home to figure this out. I'm still on vacation right now. Time to live it up!

Taylor Rolfe's POV

Today was a super special occasion. It was one of those days where my mom told me to go over to Tyson's. It was one of those days where my mom got really into cleaning the house. I love those days!

Immediately, I found the phone and called Tyson. There was an answer on the second ring. "Hello..." It was Mr. Jackson.

"Hello, Mr. Jackson, it's Taylor. Would I be able to come over and hang out with Tyson?" I hope he's not too busy with work. When he is, the response is usually to say no. "Mom is in a cleaning day mood."

"Of course you can. Zach is over, and they are playing games together currently. I just ask you to be quiet, please."

"Yes sir. I will do my best to remain quiet. Bye, Mr. Jackson." I hung up the phone and immediately set out for my jacket. Quickly I was on my way over to Tyson's place.

There was more to my plan than just going over to Tyson's. I wanted to tell Tyson flat out that I know he's into guys. It's just something that is going to happen. Plus Zach is there that's got to soften the blow a little bit. Who knows if I'm right or not, but I'm going to do it!

My heart and mind were in an argument about it though. In my mind, Tyson was going to hate me after all this. He was going to scream at me to get out, and I would never talk to him gain. My heart told me everything would be fine. So I'm not as convicted about this as I want to be.

It wasn't long before I ended up at Tyson's front door. I knocked like usual and then just let myself in. No one would be able to hear me knock anyways. Tyson and Zach were in the living room playing just cards. Settlers of Catan was beside them though, so we started to play that.

Zach was super good at the game; he's played with Shane before. We got really into the game. So much so that his dad walked up and watched us play for a bit without anyone noticing.

He surprised us, "I remember this game, Settlers right?"

We all jumped. Zach smiled, "Settlers of Catan, yes Mr. Jackson. Care to join the next round?"

I looked over at Tyson whose eyes were pleading to his father to join. To be honest, I wanted him to join too. After all these years, I've never done anything with him.

"Maybe another time, I'm really busy today." His dad waved us off.

"Please dad?" Tyson spoke up. It caught his dad off guard. Tyson usually lets things go but today was different, I guess. "It'll only be a little bit; we'll make it a quick game." He gave his best puppy dog eyes he could.

His dad looked like he considering it. "I'm sorry Tyson, another day. There is a lot of paperwork I need to get through."

"Okay..." Tyson went from puppy dog eyes to disappointment. Mr. Jackson ruffled Tyson's hair and walked off.

You could feel Tyson's sadness in the room. Zach tried to cheer him up, "He said he'd join in another time. That's got to count for something."

"He always says that, Zach. It's never going to happen..." Tyson slouched down and lazily finished his turn.

Zach got up, "I'll be right back, okay?" I nodded as he went somewhere else.

Tyson watched him head off towards his dad's office. "He's going to talk to my dad..."

"Maybe it'll help."

He shook his head, "Dad will never do stuff with me like a normal father-son relationship."

"You never know that Ty. Zach might be able to do something." Tyson looked away from me. It was just sad that he felt like this. I wanted to help him out so bad but what could I do?

I got up and walked off. "Taylor, where are you going?"

"To do something I should have done a while ago!" I marched right into his dad's office. Zach and Mr. Jackson were already mid-conversation. "I'm sorry for interrupting, but you need to play a game with us. Tyson feels like you will never play a game with him. 'Dad will never do stuff with me like a normal father-son relationship' he just told me.

"The amount of times he's asked you to do something with us is huge. The amount of times you said 'no' is equal to that. Why can't you just put work aside for just one day and spend some time with your son who craves your attention!?" Wow, I just gave off a rant in the middle of his office.

The room was quiet from my rant. I started to blush realizing what I have just done. Tyson was peeking into the room just past the doorway. He and his dad were making eye contact.

Mr. Jackson cleared his throat, "Is this true Tyson?"

All eyes were on him. He looked scared, like he didn't know what to say. He just ran off somewhere. I looked back and forth before going out of the room looking for him.

I knew exactly where he was. His normal hiding place was in the basement behind the wine rack. That's exactly where I found him holding his knees against his chest. "Ty..."

There was no emotion on his face, but you could see the gears rolling, "Why would you do that?"

"I don't know I just felt like I needed to."

He shook his head, "But why?"

"You've been ignored for so long, I had to." Tyson just sat there. Neither one of us knew what to say. "Tyson you're my best friend... everything you are makes you my best friend."

Tyson looked up at me. "Taylor..." We were looking at each other directly in the eyes. "What do you mean...?"

I sighed, "Tyson, I know you... that... I know you like guys. In, like, a boyfriend kind of way." I could feel my face burning up, and Tyson's was doing the same.

He shook his head frantically, "No, I don't!"

"Tyson you and I both know this. Don't lie to me; I'm your best friend."

He continued to shake his head. "I'm not!"

I crouched down, "Tyson..."

In one quick motion, Tyson closed his eyes tight and hugged me. Well glomped me, you know, hugged me to the ground. I could feel him shaking as he pushed his face into my chest.

The next thing I know his lips were touching mine, we were kissing. It was just our lips touching but a kiss nonetheless. This is happening... this is happening... this is happening!!

Anthony "Annie" Justice's POV

Leo had spent the other day with his father, brother, and sister. Since then he seems to be distracted and has spent a lot more time away from the house. He's been spending a lot of his time with Matthieu. Every time he does this it pisses me off more and more.

Over time, I could tell he's been drifting away. He started to talk less and less to me and spending more and more nights in his room. We still snuggle, but I don't feel anything for him.

This is how I felt around the time Adam Bruce raped me. Back in grade 8, Adam convinced me to come to his place, and he rapped me. He did for a while; it was the day that Leo's brother brought Leo over that I met him. It made me feel alone, like if I talked to anyone it was sinful. The shell Leo released me from felt like it was covering me up again.

I heard Leo come into the house. He was laughing about something as he came up the stairs. "Hey, Annie how was..." He stopped as he saw me; I was visibly upset. "What's wrong Annie?"

"Leo, be honest with me, please?" Leo looked really confused, "Are you and Matthieu Rieu together?"

He shook his head, "No, why would you think that?"

"I don't know... You have been spending a lot of time with him and not a whole lot of time with me..."

"Annie, you don't need to get jealous."

"I'm not jealous Leo. You've been spending more nights in your room than usual and with everything that's going on I'm scared."

Leo came over and pulled me close to him. "Everything is fine Annie; I promise."

I snuggled into his shoulder, "But why have you been spending so much time with Matthieu?"

"He and I have just been getting along as friends. There is nothing going on between us." I couldn't hear the conviction in his voice.

I pulled away and looked at him, "Say it again. Tell me, while looking into my eyes that there is nothing between you." Leo looked at me; his eyes kept moving around not fixated on me. "Leo, tell me!" I begged him.

He shook his head and got up, "I can't..." His body tensed up and let loose in an instant. "I can't tell you to your face Matthieu and I aren't doing anything. I'm sorry Annie, but it just kind of happened one day. We started doing stuff and ended up doing more and more... we basically ended up in a quasi relationship."

I could feel tears forming, "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I was afraid you'd want me to move out. I was scared to be alone." Leo began to cry too. "When I was living with my mom and brother I felt so alone, like no one loved me. Then I met you and everything changed. I knew someone who felt like I did, and we connected. Over time, I guess I needed to expand my friends and... ended up making a huge mistake

"I didn't want to be sent into the system for a year. To be lost and have nothing anymore. That thought scared me to death; I don't think I could take it. I am so sorry Annie; I really am."

I frantically shook my head, "Don't call me Annie. My name is Anthony!" The look in his face told me everything I needed to know. He got the message. We were no longer a couple there was nothing else left to say.

"Anthony... I'm sorry." He reached for me, but I knocked his hand away. I looked away and refused to look back. The next thing I heard was the door opening and closing. Did Leo and I really just break up?

I laid there on the couch just crying. There was no one I had to turn to. All I had was Leo, and now he's gone. Gone... I was left alone in the world again...

Chapter End.

That was a shorter chapter that I wanted, but it's filled with important events. Find out what is going through Tyson's head next chapter! You'll also get to see Isaac getting home and doing something pretty important for his story.

On top of that, the next chapter is going to have an even more major event. I won't tell you what exactly but it's been foreshadowed for a while now.

Oh, and I told a friend of mine about my stories and wanted me to add a character based on him. So that is also happening next chapter. There is some important stuff next chapter... WOOT!!

Next: Chapter 21
