MICHAEL & ROBERT

By Trevor Johnson

Chapter Twenty-Seven

This story is a spin off from the adventures of Cliff & Derek. Michael you may recall was responsible for putting Cliff in hospital with some horrific Injuries. Here we tell you his story.

Michael changed, was forgiven by Cliff. Met his lifetime lover Robert and between them established Britain's most successful plumbing business.

This story also contains sex between males including young males. If you find this type of reading not to your liking, please do not read any further.

We all sat down to dinner at the big round table we had in the dining room. At night when only the residents are there, it seated everyone. No on looked particularly happy, and to begin with we ate in silence.

I had arranged for a couple of dozen bottles of good wine, along with several bottles of vintage brandy, so that we could relax and try to forget the problems surrounding us. With the Spanish Mafia, making noises and moving people around, and goodness knows what else they are planning.

It didn't take long for the wine to begin to take effect. I asked everyone what he or she thought of contacting the Prime minister and asking for his help.

Peter our accountant said,

"I don't think it will make a lot of difference but it's worth a try. Personally, I don't like the man and it could be a waste of time, but any port in a storm"

Steve his partner and our security chief then had his say, "It certainly wouldn't do any harm to use the people we voted in to listen to us and maybe do something about it.

We had also invited David's father, Nathan and his partner Damien to dinner, after all Nathan was our media man responsible for all our publicity.

"If we do go ahead and make the trip to the houses of Parliament, I think you should take the boys with you and I will make sure as many television and newspaper people as possible are there as well. If we have a lot of publicity and then the prime minister does nothing it will look bad for him in the press."

"Good thinking Nathan, now I know why we had you come on board, you're not just a pretty face."

The wine was obviously starting to work because his partner Damien said,

"Maybe not a pretty face but he's great in bed."

The boys were also sitting quietly at the table with Ferdy and Nathan's son David sitting very close together. Ferdy surprised us all and had us roaring with laughter when he piped up and said,

"Like father like son."

Robert remarked, "Were on earth did you learn a remark like Ferdy."

The young Spaniard said nothing just sat holding his boyfriend's hand while blushing.

This light-hearted banter continued for some time as everyone slowly got more and more under the weather thanks to the wine and brandy.

Tony and Trent our two young gay managers unable to control their emotions any longer began to make out with their hands touching places which you don't normally touch in public, so I suggested that we call it a night and head off to bed. I told Nathan and Damien that David could stay the night with Ferdy and they could have one of the guest rooms and save the problems of trying to make it home in the state they were both in.

They staggered over to us kissing us passionately goodnight, with Damien's tongue probing my mouth and getting me very hot indeed.

"Not tonight." I whispered, "Robert and I want to be alone, maybe another time?"

"Just name the time and place and both of us will be there naked and ready."

The boys had been sitting there watching everyone's antics and laughing so hard that tears were rolling down their cheeks.

"Off you go boy's time you were all in bed." I said and they began doing the rounds kissing every one goodnight leaving Robert and I until last.

Serge kissed me goodnight then said, "Thank you dad for a wonderful evening and there is no need to come and tuck us in because you might have trouble finding your way."

All four boys roared with laughter at that remark as they headed for the door.

"Goodnight boys, we love you dearly, you cheeky buggers you."

Robert said slurring his voice so much that it was hard to understand what he was saying.

With our arms around each other we headed to find our own room, were we locked the door before collapsing on the bed. As I mentioned before neither of us are big drinkers and as soon as my head hit pillow the room began spinning and I got that horrible feeling in the stomach which told me I was about to lose my dinner. Both of us got up and headed for the bathroom. It must have looked very funny seeing the two of us kneeling down with both of our heads in the toilet bowl `puking' almost non-stop for what seemed hours.

"Now I know why I seldom drink." I groaned putting my arm around my lover more for support than affection.

"Me too." He replied before once again, being violently ill.

After a while, we both tried to stand, finding it difficult.

"I think I'll spend the night here." Robert said and I nodded in agreement.

Finally, our stomachs settled down and clinging to each other we gradually got onto our feet. Staggering over to the shower I turned it on adjusting the temperature, while we both undressed. Still hanging on to each other we allowed the water to flow over us and boy, it felt good. We both started to feel much better but any thoughts of sex went down the toilet bowl with everything else.

"Whose silly idea was it to have all that wine and brandy with dinner tonight?"

I asked.

"I think it was your silly idea and please darling, don't do it again." "I promise that never, ever again will I think of a stupid idea like that."

We both looked at each other, standing naked in the shower looking like death warmed up and burst out laughing.

I turned off the taps, while we stepped out of the shower drying each other, still chuckling and giggling like silly little schoolgirls.

"I don't think I've ever been this drunk before." Robert remarked and I agreed me neither. Still it cheered everyone up even making those who can handle their drink horny and sexy."

"Didn't work for us though did it?"

"Never mind there will be other times, my darling."

Still clinging to each other, we made it back into the bedroom collapsing once again on the bed, but this time not feeling quite as ill.

Climbing under the covers, we kissed each goodnight before falling into a drunken sleep.

We were awakened, by a banging on the door and Betty telling us to wake up and hurry or we will miss breakfast.

Looking at the clock, we noticed that it was almost ten. Yelling out to Betty that we wouldn't be long, we both jumped out of bed rushing into the bathroom, before suddenly realizing what rotten headaches we had.

Both of us groaned and moaned, but had to keep going, otherwise we would never have surfaced for the rest of the day.

After hurriedly dressing, we dashed into the dining room, were Betty had tomato juice and painkillers waiting for us.

"Betty, you are an angel and we love you dearly." I told her, she blushed and replied, "Serves you right, getting in the state you did last night, still you should have seen the others."

"I'd forgotten everyone else, were is everybody and what about the boys? My God they are going to be late for school."

"Don't worry, Natalie took them off to school at the normal time. The boys got themselves up got breakfast, so you don't have to worry about them."

I remarked quietly to Robert that I felt guilty not being up and ready to take the boys to school and he agreed with me.

After a very light breakfast, both of us not game to eat too much we hurried down for the morning management meeting.

We walked in to find Steve, Paul, Shirley and Nathan ready and waiting with smirks on their faces.

"Sorry were late and the first person to make any smart remarks regarding last night will be fired." I said with a laugh

Everyone smiled but no one said anything. We went through the normal business side of things, before discussing last night's topic of conversation.

Robert spoke first, "Do we set up a meeting with the prime minster or not?"

"I think we should, we have nothing to lose and possibly a lot to gain." I said.

Shirley agreed and as we went round the room, it looked like everyone was happy with the decision.

"Before we go much further I think we should set up a call to Bill in Kent and get his views."

Everyone agreed with Robert and a call was put through. After the usual greetings and an explanation of why we were making the call, I asked his opinion.

"I don't think it will do any harm, I just wish we knew what the Spaniards were up to right now. Steve have we heard any more from MI5?"

"Not a word. I will try and contact them after this meeting."

"So it's decided then that we arrange to meet the PM as soon as possible. Once again, we all agreed with Robert and the meeting ended.

It was decided that Shirley would do the initial contact with 10 Downing Street, and whatever the reaction was; we would take it from there.

We all headed for lunch and by now, both Robert and I were famished and tucked into a big meal. Steve asked us if we wanted a glass of wine with our food and I answered him with a smile asking him were his next job was going to be. This light-hearted banter continued over lunch.

Steve came rushing into our office after lunch with the news that the police had arrested two men of Spanish origin acting suspiciously in Folkstone not far from the channel tunnel work site.

"That's good news; let's hope that's the end of this episode."

"MI5 don't think so, they believe these two are just fall guys to make the authorities relax and ease off on the security so that whatever they have planned can happen."

"Not good news after all?" I said. Steve agreed informing us that he is doubling security here and in Kent,

"We've arranged for Bill and his crew to be housed on the site for now rather than risk them travelling back and forth to their hotel in Folkstone. This way we can keep a closer watch by having all my team in one place."

"Good thinking Steve, I don't know what we'd do without you."

"Thanks Robert, I like getting compliments, but I also thrive on the adrenalin rush."

It was soon time to head down to pick up the boys from school. Both of us still felt a bit guilty at not being there for them this morning, but when the boys rushed out to greet us it was obvious they didn't hold a grudge.

"Good afternoon senor dads, we hope you had a good day."

Serge said as all three cuddled us before getting into the car. We noticed David standing there looking a bit sad and dejected after saying goodbye to Ferdy. It was good to note that they didn't kiss or cuddle so they were heeding our advice. Natalie was on the phone, and when she had finished the conversation, she said,

"That was Nathan asking if we could give David a lift to our office because he is still working."

Grinning at Robert I said, "I don't think we can right now what do you say Ferdy?"

Ferdy looked at me not sure, if I was kidding or not. In a pleading voice he said,

"Please senor dads we can't just leave him on the street can we?"

"Of course not go and get him Ferdy."

I've never seen anyone move so quick, he was out of the car and by his boyfriend's side quick as a flash. To see the look in both boys' eyes said such a lot. Turning to Robert I quietly said,

"I can remember when a couple of young school boys used to look at each other like that."

"They still do." He replied, squeezing my hand gently.

"Please dads. Don't get soppy on us."

"No we won't Serge." I replied with a laugh. David and Ferdy got into the car and we headed for home.

Just as we stepped off the elevator, Shirley came along with the news that the Prime Minister had agreed to see us Monday morning at 10 am.

"That's great news thanks Shirley, boys how would you like a trip to the houses of parliament to meet the prime minister of Britain?"

"Senor Dads that would be wonderful, thank you very much, you are very kind dads to us."

Nathan came out of his office looking for David,

"Did Shirley tell you the good news?"

We told him she had,

"I've just been preparing a news release which I'll have on your desks tomorrow morning for your approval plus it won't take me long to arrange for the press to be in attendance; also I thought we should hold the press conference outside parliament after the meeting. It might be prudent to invite the PM to join us."

We thanked him for the great work he is doing and walked him back towards the elevator while Ferdy and David did their long goodbye kiss. Nathan looked at them with a wistful look in his eye.

"O, to be young and in love. You know David never stops talking about Ferdy when he's with Damien and I. Those two are very much in love, and it's wonderful to see."

We both agreed with him as the elevator door opened. He called David over wishing us all goodnight. Ferdy stood looking so sad because his lover was going home. I walked up to him putting my arm around saying,

"Ferdy you need to remember that your boyfriend needs to spend some time with his father as well, you have to learn to share him with the others who also love him."

"I know dads, but we love each other so much. When we are old enough and have left school we are going to live together until we die of old age."

I took him in my arms holding him tight,

"Ferdy, I hope your dreams do come true and remember you are acting just like Robert and I did not that long ago when we were still at school."

With my arm still around him, we headed for the dining room.

Over dinner, I explained to the boys what was involved with going to London and Parliament to speak to the Prime Minister, Harold Macmillan.

"We hope by talking to him that we might be able to convince him to speak with the Spanish government about the troubles we are having with those horrible men who kept you in that terrible place and just maybe get them stopped from trying to have us all killed."

"That would be wonderful dads; do you think this man will help us?"

"We certainly hope so, but it will also provide us with an opportunity to talk to the world press, newspaper and television reporters from all over the world and see if they can help us."

"Now it is very important that you are on your best behaviour at all times because someone will have a camera pointed at us most of the time, do you understand all this?"

"Yes, dads." They chorused as one.

"Good, now who's for a game of some sort and before you suggest it, not strip Monopoly."

They all laughed calling me a spoilsport and maybe something worse in Spanish.

We decided on a proper game of monopoly, which went on quite late into the evening until we had to call a halt because it was past the boys' bedtime.

We tucked the boys in wishing them goodnight and sweet dreams, with the three of them returning the compliments. We turned out the light and headed for our own room happy and content with our lot. After a shower, kiss and cuddle we drifted off to sleep to be woken at about three in the morning with Steve banging on our door. We rushed out asking what was wrong.

Breathlessly he told us,

"Our workers camp at the Channel Tunnel entrance was set alight about 30 minutes ago."

"How on earth did that happen with all your guards surrounding the place?"

"They used, would you believe bows and flaming arrows from outside the perimeter firing right into the camp. The arrows were soaked in some highly inflammable substance, which started spot fires all over the place. There were at least four of them at different vantage points."

"Any one get hurt?" Robert asked.

"So far no one as reported any causalities, I'm waiting to hear from Bill. The good news is that the police have caught two of them and before you ask, yes they are Spanish."

"This has got to fucking stop, enough is enough if the government won't do anything about it then we will have to."

"What do you mean Robert?"

"How would we be hiring mercenaries our own soldiers of fortune to go to Spain and fight them the same way as they are us."

Both Steve and I were stunned by what Robert was considering.

"I think we should think about that very carefully before we do anything." I said cautiously. Just then, one of Steve's men came up to say Bill was on the phone. We all rushed down to Steve's office and he put Bill on the speakerphone."

"Hi Bill your on speakerphone so we can all hear you at once, what on earth happened and is everyone all right?"

"Yes, Michael a couple of guys have a few minor burns they got putting out the fires otherwise we are all ok."

He chuckled telling us, "The boys are already calling me Robin Hood because the bastards used bows and arrows, but right now I feel more like General Custer."

We laughed marvelling that he can still keep his sense of humour going even though he almost got killed tonight.

He went into detail on what happened and how the local police got two of them but another two got away. He also told us that from tomorrow night everyone working on the project would be sleeping in the tunnel itself with four lines of security between them and the outside world. We went on to tell him about our forthcoming meeting in London stating that Monday couldn't come quick enough.

We finally wished him a good morning, because the sky was beginning to lighten as dawn approached, and hoped they would all be safer from now on.

All those that were awake headed for the dining room and a hot cup of coffee and toast. We sat around talking in general about what had happened but nobody came up with anything startling.

The boys came in for breakfast and couldn't understand why were up so early and yet not dressed. We explained briefly, what had happened in Kent, how luckily everyone was safe.

Natalie came in to take us to school and being Friday we promised the boys we would be back to watch their soccer game this afternoon. Once the boys had gone into school, we went to see the headmaster telling him about Monday's trip to see the PM. He told,

"Those boys are seeing more of Britain than have all my life, they are lucky to have you two as their fathers."

It was gratifying that the headmaster and in fact most of the local people accepted what we were, gay and what we were doing for three gay orphans.

Back in the office, we had the usual management meeting discussing in detail the trip to London especially the security. Steve was heading off to London this afternoon for a meeting with MI5 and the metropolitan police to work out our safety.

Straight after an early lunch, we headed down to watch the boys play soccer. All three of them had really short shorts on and I felt sorry for a group of young girls watching the game who had the hots for our boys. I said to Robert,

"I wonder if those girls realize they're wasting their time chasing after those three."

Miguel scored a hat trick that was set up for him by either Serge or Ferdy. I nudged Robert saying,

"Maybe we have three professional football players here. If they became famous they could earn the money while we relax."

Robert laughing agreed with me. I also noticed the local press were there taking a lot of pictures of the game but mainly the boys. Just after half time, Nathan and David arrived to watch the rest of the game and I pointed the press out to Nathan.

"I didn't tell anyone the boys would be playing; I'll wander over and see what's going on."

He came back about ten minutes later to tell us that the local press were working on a four-page feature regarding the boys and us.

"This will be run locally after the trip to see the PM."

Just as the game finished Steve came back from his London meeting telling us that everything had been arranged to cover our security and the PM's.

"Why the PM, surely he is guarded all the time?"

"Yes, but they are worried about something happening while he is talking to you."

That got the both of us worried and we asked Steve if the government knew more about what was going on than us.

"I don't know MI5 were very cagy and guarded with their answers today, but maybe they're just being cautious."

Not much happened over the weekend, with all of us anxiously waiting for Monday to come. All was quite in Kent as well, although as Bill told us on the phone it was raining, cats and dogs and anyone out in such bad weather must be mad.

Monday finally came and we were all up and ready early especially the boys. We had them dressed in suits and ties, with patent leather shoes, and did they look smart.

"All the London boys will be trying to get into our pants, eh senor dads."

"They certainly will Serge; you'll have to fight them off with a big stick."

"No, we don't want to fight them but invite them." He replied with a laugh. Laughing along with them, Robert remarked,

"Anyone would think you were desperate for sex."

"Oh but we are Senor Robert, except for Ferdy us two we are like, what you say old spinsters."

That made us all laugh, and certainly lightened up the mood. There would be several cars travelling to London. First would be an escort vehicle in front, then Natalie carrying the boys and us. Followed by Nathan and Steve, and bringing up the rear another support car, this one filled with security guards.

Being a Monday morning and everyone hurrying back to the city after the weekend the roads were busy, which added to Steve's concerns.

When we got closer to the houses of parliament, an escort of police motorcyclists joined us along with a couple of police cars, which helped us, go through traffic lights and such with a minimum of fuss.

Our escorts took us right into the Parliament precinct until we were out of sight of the public were an undersecretary, who escorted us to a large conference room, met us. Light refreshments, tea, coffee and soft drink for the boys were laid on. The boys on the walk through long corridors and up ornate staircases to the room were wide eyed with wonder looking everywhere. They laughed at the footmen or servants in liveried outfits, and Serge wanted to know why they had their silky pants tucked into their stockings. We laughed but had to admit we didn't have an answer for him.

We sat around enjoying our morning tea and only five minutes late the Prime Minister along with half a dozen aides walked in shaking hands with us all. I introduced him to the boys and they put on a great show by bowing and shaking his hand asking him politely how he was.

I could see he was very impressed. I think he expected three young scruffy, pheasants, illiterate and uncouth.

"Three wonderful young boys you have their gentlemen."

"Yes, we are very proud of them, they are not only polite, but also very good at school."

He invited us to sit at the round conference table, and once the social chatter and introductions were over, he asked us to state our case.

Robert started what I suppose you would say our presentation,

"I don't know if you are fully aware of the background regarding the boys so I will begin right at the beginning."

With that over, he began telling the prime minister the full story leaving nothing out. He even explained how we had to bribe officials on both sides to get the boys out of the country quickly and I noticed a couple of times he raised his eyebrows in surprise.

When he got to the part were the boys arrived in England I took over the story telling him about the house explosion, before bringing him up to date with Friday nights attack.

When I had finished it went quiet and the PM had a thoughtful look on his face, finally he spoke.

"And what would you like the British Government to do about all this?"

"We're not sure sir, but any help you can give to stop these gangsters from sending hired assassins over to kill us all would be good."

"I see, I really don't think we can help you any more than we already are. The police are providing excellent protection, which is costing the public purse a lot of money. MI5 I believe are in constant touch with your security chief. So I really think we are doing enough at the moment."

I could see Robert getting hot under the collar so I spoke up quickly,

"We understand that sir and are very grateful for the help we are getting. I would like to point out to you that if these murderers persist they will not only do away with us and the boys but innocent civilians could get caught up in this and who knows how many British lives would be lost."

"I see your point but what can we do, our hands are tied whenever these criminals come over to our country we can do our best to apprehend them and lock them up, but what more can we do?"

"We thought sir that maybe a quite word with the Spanish Consulate might help. An official protest at the harassment these people are causing and may I be as bold as to suggest a hint at sanctions against Spain."

"Hold on, wait a minute, that kind of suggestion is out of order and can only be agreed upon by cabinet. In any case that would be a drastic last straw act."

"As I said sir, just a hint not to actually bring in sanctions, that might be all that is needed."

The room was silent for a minute while he considered what to say next. I had the feeling that we were losing this debate.

"The other course of action gentlemen is to send these three boys back to Spain with the undertaking that they should not be harmed."

That did it both of us stood up livid at that last remark.

"How dare you suggest we send these three lovely young men back to what would certainly be an execution. These boys through no fault of their own just happened to be born homosexuals into families, which could not afford to keep them. So they were sold into slavery, To become sexual playthings for evil sick and sorry men. Once they reached their use by date, they would most certainly have been disposed of and buried in an unmarked grave to be forgotten. No human being deserves to be treated like that and to think we rescued them from this terrible place to be told by a fellow British citizen that we should send them back to be killed anyway. How dare you, throw innocent lives away like that, how can you lie straight in bed at night after suggesting that three young boys be sentenced to death, because that is what you would be doing."

By now, tears were rolling down Robert and my face and out of the corner of my eye; I could see Steve also wiping his eyes.

"If I said I couldn't help you what would be your next plan of action? And I'm sure you have one."

"We have already discussed the possibility of hiring mercenaries, soldiers of fortune to go to Spain and sort this out the same way they are."

"I see, that would be a bit drastic though wouldn't it?"

"Yes sir, but we are desperate to help these boys grow up in a safe environment and if it means fighting fire with fire then we will."

Serge stood up saying,

"Excuse me sir but I would like to speak if I may?"

"Very well young man."

"When our senor dads rescued us, they were very brave and it cost them a lot of money to bring us back to England. We love our dads, we never had family like they have provided for us and they made us welcome and very happy. All three of us prayed all night long that you would help our dads to make everything safe so no one else would get hurt. I am sad that my God as not been able to help us convince you to help our dads. Our lives are not worth much but our dads are, they are two very good loving men who will do anything to help anyone, Please sir consider helping them if you will and we are sure God will shine down on you."

That did it both Robert and I with tears streaming down our faces went and hugged the boys, telling them we loved them dearly and would never let anything happen to them.

"You have a very bright boy there; he would make a good member of parliament. I will do what I can to help get these people of your back but I won't make any promises. What you are doing is wonderful and I'm sorry that I had to upset you all so, but I needed to make sure that your intentions were honourable and right."

Steve came up to me and whispered,

"The bastard was going to help right from the start."

I nodded my head in agreement as the PM stood up shaking hands with us all. As briefed by Nathan I then invited the PM to join us for a press conference outside on the lawn.

"I will indeed join you and then I will take you all to lunch in the parliamentary dining room."

We thanked him as we headed out to meet a large gathering of the media and noticed Nathan organizing them.

There must have been over a hundred reporters, photographers and television cameras all pointing in our direction. We moved in front of this crowd facing a bank of microphones, feeling decidedly nervous. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Steve talking into a two way organizing his people and at the same time scanning the gathered throng looking for troublemakers.

Nathan moved to the front announcing,

"if you are ready ladies and gentlemen I would like to introduce Michael and Robert to you followed by the Prime Minister."

We both stepped forward our hands briefly touching to give each other courage. This act caused a flurry of flash bulbs to go off, momentarily blinding us.

"Good afternoon, we have just finished meeting with the Prime Minister who has agreed to help us in our endeavours to save these three young Spanish boys from death. As most of you are aware, my partner and I also have a price on our heads. We would like to thank the British Government for the help and also the understanding they have shown us in our efforts to help the innocent from being murdered." Robert continued,

"We could not stand by and see these three young boys being subjected to the depravity and cruelty they had to suffer and endure in Spain at the hand of evil monsters only interested in profit and gain. Before any of you ask the question, I will beat you to it by stating that Michal and I are lovers, devoted to each other. The three young boys you see before you are also homosexuals and yes, this is still against the law in this land."

This remark brought forth a few gasps and boos along with another round of flashing bulbs. Robert took hold of my hand, hanging on so tight that I could feel the circulation of blood stop flowing. I continued,

"We don't care if we are arrested but we do ask that you all report fairly and honestly and help us to stop these assassins from entering our country, killing or trying to kill innocent people."

We both stepped back inviting the Prime Minister to come forward.

Silence descended on the group as he began to speak,

"Standing before you are two very brave and honest young men, who came to me with a plea for help. At first, I was sceptical, suspecting they had a variety of ulterior motives. After speaking with them and listening to a heart wrenching speech form one of these boys, I made up my mind that no matter what the British government had to help. I'm not sure what action we will take at this point in time, but I will be inviting the Spanish Consul to visit with me at the soonest possible moment so that we can formally protest at the invasion of our country by these hired assassins. Michael pointed out that because of their sexuality they are breaking the law, a law which I hope in time will be repealed, because none of these people labelled as homosexuals can help being what they are, it is part of their make-up, in their blood explain it anyway you like, but it is how they were made."

He paused looking around gathering his thoughts before continuing,

"I implore the members of the media gathered here today to help us in our quest to provide a safe haven for these three boys. One of those spoke to me earlier and I was impressed by his innocence and honesty and would like that boy to come forward to talk to you and tell you what he told me."

He turned to Serge asking him to come forward. Poor Serge looked terrified so I went to him put my arm around him explaining that if didn't want to do this it would be all right.

"I will speak senor dad." He said with a tremble in his voice. I hugged him as he moved forward to face the microphones and the crowd. I stood on one side and Robert on the other to give him support while Ferdy and Miguel joined us one on either side.

"My name is Serge and I was born to a poor family who did not have enough money to feed us all properly. When they found out I was gay they sold me to a man who fed and gave me a roof over my head, but in return, I had to perform terrible things to him and other men who came to his club. We were locked up when not working and if we refused to do these things we were beaten."

Tears were running down his cheeks but he continued,

"Senor Dads risked their own lives to take us from this place, also paying out a lot of money so that we could be safe. We are now their adopted sons and are very proud and happy to be British people. Last night all three of us prayed to god that the prime minister would see it in his heart to help our dads and stop anymore killing, I'm glad that god answered our prayers today."

All three boys along with Robert and I were crying as we hugged each other causing flash bulbs to go off non-stop.

Nathan came forward, also with tears in his eyes thanking the press for coming, before ushering all of us inside.

The PM took us to a small anti-room were drinks were waiting and we had the opportunity to compose ourselves.

The PM spoke softly to Serge and the other boys,

"Thank you for speaking so well and I'm sorry that I upset you making you cry but that will help your campaign to stop these people hurting you."

He hugged all three and I mentioned to Robert what a great picture that would have made. Steve and Nathan joined us giving us both

a hug and congratulating us.

"If that story doesn't go around the world then I'm no media man, believe me there were quite a few hardened reporters with tears in their eyes by the time Serge had finished."

Robert put his arm around me saying,

"I don't know about you but I'm exhausted both emotionally and physically." I agreed, just as a flunky arrived announcing that lunch was now being served. We joined the PM for the long walk through the corridors of power to the parliamentary dining room.

To be continued.

Well quite an emotional chapter and I hope you liked it. I must admit I got a bit teary while writing it. Please let me know what you think, plus this will be the first new chapter to appear on the new site.
