Randy immediately started blushing again after Manu had brought up the subject of him again. What was it with this guy, was he ever going to be able to live this down?

Cody had walked over and took a seat on Randy's bed stretching out making sure to keep the towel around him so that he didn't show anything. "Yeah yeah, I had to see so drop it now." Cody said to Manu seeing that it was causing Randy to blush again.

Randy sat down on the edge of the bed Cody was lying on and watched as the young man flipped through the channels on the TV. Manu had made himself at home and sat down on the sofa in the room watching the TV as well. Randy smiled to himself at wondering how he had opened himself up for this by just consoling Cody. Randy leaned back against the headboard next to Cody and crossed his arms over his chest watching the talk show he had flipped to.

Manu would break his attention from the TV and look over to Randy and Cody every now and then just smiling. He could tell that Cody was at ease at the moment, and that was a good thing. He would be all paranoid if he were back in his room. Manu's stomach rumbled so loud that everyone in the room heard it and laughed softly.

Randy got up and headed to his duffel bag pulling out a pair of briefs and a pair of jeans. "Get dressed Cody and we'll head out and get a bite to eat. I think Manu's stomach has a good idea."

Manu chuckled and nodded his head as Randy disappeared off into the bathroom. Cody hopped up from the bed holding the towel around him and ran after Randy and slipped in right before the door was closed.

Randy started putting his clothes on and Cody stood there watching him as he did so. Cody reached out and let his hands run down Randy's chest as he just looked at the muscles beneath his fingertips. He could feel the heat radiating off the man's body. Randy just stood there watching Cody relaxing against the sink that was behind him.

Cody looked up and saw Randy watching him and pulled his hands away. "I'm sorry." he said dropping his head.

Randy chuckled and took Cody's hands pulling him closer to him. He placed Cody's hands on his sides and looked him in the eyes. "Don't be sorry Cody, I don't care about you doing that, I just don't want you to end up regretting..."

"No Randy, don't say that because I wouldn't regret it. But I respect your wishes that you don't want to see me get hurt and I admire you for that. I wish a certain someone would realize how bad he hurts me sometimes."

"Cody, Ted is a jerk plain and simple. You deserve someone much better than him, and I already told you that."

"I know," Cody sighed, "to bad that someone who would be much better couldn't be you."

Randy bit his bottom lip not sure what to say to that comment. He lean forward and pressed his lips to Cody's kissing him for a couple of seconds before pulling back from him. "I never said that it couldn't be me, I just don't you to rush things. Right after something like this is when you're most vulnerable."

Cody smiled and stepped closer to Randy letting his arms slide around the man's waist. He pressed his face against Randy's shoulder and Randy could tell that he was fighting feelings right now. Randy was fighting his own feelings as he slowly slid his arms around Cody's shoulders and hugged him tightly.

He could feel that Cody was shaking and knew he was definitely crying and the teardrops could be felt on his chest. Randy laid his head atop Cody's and just held him; He would hold him for as long as he needed to.

"It's okay Cody, you can let it out." he said letting a hand rub the man's back reassuringly.

"I don't know what to do Randy. That's what scares me. I don't want to go back to him, but I know I can't have you try to make me feel better all the time."

"Cody I'm here for you anytime you need me. You know that."

They stood there for about fifteen minutes before Manu knocked on the door to make sure everything was alright. "You guys okay?"

"Yeah." Cody said wiping his eyes once he pulled away from Randy. He wiped his tears off of Randy's chest right before the man pulled his shirt on.

Cody slowly pulled on his boxers and jeans. He opened the door and walked out seeing Manu standing next to the wall. He went over and sat down on the bed getting the shirt he had came into the room with and put it on.

"He going to be alright?" Manu asked nodding over to Cody.

"I think so."

Randy went over and slid his shoes on. Just to make things faster I'm going to walk down to the other side of the office and get the car and bring it up here closer to these elevators. That way if Ted is around he won't have a chance to bother Cody. Will you make sure to watch him and not let anything happen?"

"Yeah."

"Manu," Randy said as he put his hand on the man's shoulder, "let something happen to him and you'll regret it."

With that Randy turned and walked down the stairs heading to the office to get his car to move it. Manu went over and sat down on the bed beside Cody and patted the man's knee.

"It's going to be alright. You'll get through this, I promise. Randy seems to want to make sure of that too."

Cody wiped his eyes again and looked to the floor and nodded. "I'm in love with him."

"Ted?"

"No."

"Cody, I..."

"I know what you're going to say so don't waste your breath. You're going to say the same thing he said. But I love him Manu, I know I do. I have for a long time."

"Cody, you have to be sure before you know if you're in love with him or not. There's a difference between love and lust."

"Save the lecture man, I know the difference between love and lust."

"Cody I just don't want to see you get hurt again. Not this soon after this shit happened."

"Something tells me that Randy won't hurt me."

"He has a reputation Cody. You know that as well as I do."

"Yeah, but I think maybe his last relationship might have changed the way he looks at things. I mean he's told me about it. He trusts me enough to share details with me that he hasn't told anyone else."

There was a knock at the door to the room and both men looked to it wondering who it was. If it was Randy he would have just came back in. Manu got up and went to the door and looked through the little hole to see who it was. John Cena was standing on the other side of the door.

Manu opened the door and stood aside while John came into the room. "Randy's down there waiting on you in the car. He said just make sure to grab the key to the room so no one gets locked out. He went over and put his hand on Cody's shoulder, "he said to bring his cell too if you didn't care."

John sat down on the bed just a moment while Manu walked through the door and stood at the balcony looking down into the parking lot. John reach over and put his hand on Cody's knee.

"Cody, I want to be honest with you if you don't mind."

Cody nodded his head wondering what it was John had to say to him and if he was going to warn him to stay away from his ex-boyfriend.

"Cody, Randy is a good guy, and I was too blind to see that before but I can't change the way I am and I can't change who he is so things didn't work out between us. I hurt him once and I saw the toll it took on him. He wasn't the same Randy for months after that. I don't want to see that happen to him again. If you have a crush on him or something I had better not hear of you hurting him. He's been my best friend for years."

Cody nodded his head and looked to John. "I think I love him John but he's afraid that it's too quick."

"You did just break up with someone last night Cody, so it is a little quick. And Randy is only watching out for you. If it makes you feel better I think he actually has a crush on you too. I know you're on his list of superstars that he thinks is hot." John chuckled.

"Oh am I now?"

"Yeah, you're on that list, and I'm pretty sure you're one of the top guys he finds attractive. It's you that I had to compete with on his hot list."

Cody chuckled and looked around when John's cell phone went off. John pulled it out and answered it nodding his head. "Yeah, I'll send him on down."

"Randy said come on, he's hungry."

They got up from the bed and walked to the door. Cody had Randy's cell phone in one hand and the key to the room in the other hand. He closed the door and locked it stopping dead in his tracks when he looked down the hall. Ted was making is way up the hallway and he had spotted Cody and was making a path right straight to him.

"Shit."

John looked down the hallway and saw what Cody had saw. "You don't want him around you?"

"No, I don't. I don't want anything to do with him."

John patted Cody's back and pointed towards the elevator behind them. "Then you go ahead and get in the elevator. I won't let him get to you."

Cody headed towards the elevator like John had said. Manu was watching to make sure that John was going to stop Ted and right as the door closed he caught a glimpse of Ted starting to run at him only to be stopped by John.

Once the elevator opened on the bottom floor he looked up and could see that John and Ted were pretty much arguing with each other. It didn't look like anything had gotten physical yet; hopefully Ted wouldn't be stupid enough to go toe to toe with John.

Cody started to open the back door to get in the car when Randy cleared his throat. "Um....no Cody. You're getting up here, he can sit in the back."

Cody grinned and closed the door opening the passenger side door and getting in the car beside Randy. Randy could see that John was saying something to Ted but he wasn't going to sit here and find out what. He pulled the car out of the parking lot and headed off to go and get them something to eat once Manu and Cody were buckled in. Taking his cell phone off Cody's lap he opened it and went through his contact list looking for John's phone number.

"If you wanted to play with my leg all you had to do was grab it, not pretend to be getting your phone." Cody said playing with Randy to take his mind off of things.

"And that's what I would do because I know you wouldn't mind me playing with your leg." Randy said as he hit call on John's number. Once John picked up he asked, "Are you still there with Ted?"

"Good, give him a little message for me. Tell him that if he is to ever even as much as looks at Cody the wrong way he will have to answer to me and that's something that he doesn't want to do. Cody wants nothing to do with him anymore and if he has a problem with that I'll gladly take care of that for him."

Randy listened as John relayed the message to him and could hear Ted laughing in the background.

"Tell him I'll show him the first time he gets near Cody."

Randy hung the phone up at that and decided that if Ted wanted to be stupid and try something when they got back he would gladly take care of things for him and make him see that he meant business.
