Scott glanced to the side of the bed. "Do you think we should see what the gang is up to?" he asked. I realized we had been in the bedroom for quite a while.

I sighed and rolled off his comfortable chest. "Yeah, I guess we better. I think showers are in order first, though," I added with a laugh as I looked at our cum-encrusted bodies. We showered together; simply washing each other's bodies. We changed into swim trunks and t-shirts before heading back downstairs.

Chapter 24

Everyone was out by the pool, and looked up as we approached. The guys were leering at us and I wasn't sure why, until Howie spoke.

"You know Brian, you really should have chosen the sound proof room for you two," he said with a grin before he dove into the pool. I felt myself blush and noticed the deep red that Scott had turned. It only got worse, too.

"Oh, I don't know. Once we turned the music up loud we pretty much drowned everything out, didn't we?" Nick commented to no one in particular.

Then Scott's sister joined in. "Pretty much," she agreed. Scott looked at her in disbelief. I watched as he walked over to Sheri, picked her up and tossed her into the pool. He then looked at the other guys.

"Anyone else have a comment they want to share?" he asked.

"Oh sure, tough guy, pick on a helpless girl," Kevin replied from his lounge chair. Scott looked over at me and I knew immediately what he had in mind. Without saying a word, we walked over to Kevin and grabbed an arm and leg each, before tossing him into the pool with Sheri. Then we looked at A.J., Drew and Nick.

A.J. and Drew held up their hands in surrender. "Hey, we didn't say a word," Drew said. I could tell what both of them were thinking. Frack shook his head but remained quiet.

Sheri and Kevin climbed out of the pool, while Scott and I sat down on a lounger to relax. I enjoyed sitting in his arms and forgetting about everything for a while. I knew with the two concerts coming up on the 30th and New Years, that our time together would be limited. I was excited that Scott would be seeing the concerts though. He'd told me he'd never been to one.

Although no one knew, I had already made plans for dinner. I was just waiting for people to get hungry before telling everyone. Finally, Nick's stomach growled loudly and everyone laughed.

"So what are we doing for dinner?" he asked.

I coughed not very subtly getting everyone to look at me. I smiled. "I was thinking we'd do something a little different for us. Actually get dressed up and go to a good, fancy restaurant. You know, celebrate the holidays and all?" I said and looked around as I waited for a response.

"Sounds good to me," Howie spoke first.

"Yeah, I like that idea," A.J. agreed. The rest voiced their agreement and I was happy my plan was working.

I gave them the rest of the plan. "Well, the reservations are for seven, so I guess we should all go get ready."

I almost laughed when everyone stopped to stare at me. Okay, I admit that I don't usually plan things, but their reaction was funny. "What?" I asked, pretending to be confused. "I do know how to make reservations ya know. Just because I never do, doesn't mean I can't."

Everyone laughed and moved into the house to get ready.

I went into the bathroom and waited to hear something from Scott. I knew him well enough to know that he wouldn't have brought anything very dressy with him. I'd planned ahead for that. A few minutes later I heard him.

"Brian?" Scott said quietly from the bedroom.

Without leaving the bathroom I answered. "Yeah Angel, check the closet," I said.

"What?" Scott asked in confusion, and I grinned.

I stuck my head out the door. "I said check the closet!" I smiled at my angel and quickly finished brushing my teeth.

Quietly I moved to the bathroom doorway and watched as Scott opened the closet. I silently walked over to him as he looked at the black Armani suit and green shirt hanging inside.

"Brian!" I heard Scott exclaim softly.

"You like?" I asked from behind him, making him jump.

Scott turned and smiled at me before pulling me into a tight embrace. "You know I do, but you didn't have to. I could have brought a suit with me."

I couldn't help but smile brightly at him and gently kiss him. "I know, but I like giving you things, Angel," I told him truthfully. I know we'd had the discussion before, but he would never get me to stop giving him things.

I pulled back, but Scott held onto my face. "I can think of other things you give me that are even better." I felt myself blush and leaned forward to kiss him again. I would never tire of that!

Reluctantly I pulled away. "Behave, you. And get dressed," I instructed him.

Scott took the hanger out of the closet and began to get dressed. Twenty minutes later I was wearing a dark gray suit, with a deep red shirt, and Scott was looking incredible in the black and green I'd picked out for him. We went downstairs to wait for the others.

Howie was already waiting and Nick soon joined us. Drew and A.J. walked in a couple of minutes later. I knew I wasn't the only one picking up signals from those two. I decided I'd talk to Scott about it later.

"Wonder what's taking Kevin so long?" I whispered to Scott before going to the bar and pouring a drink. Scott and I had both noticed the looks Kevin had been directing at Sheri. I think Sheri had originally come to meet Nick, but if Kevin was interested, I didn't think Nick stood a chance. Sorry Frack! Call it family loyalty if you want, but I secretly hoped that Kevin and Sheri would hook up.

Kevin finally arrived and the two girls walked through the door about five minutes after him. I was too busy staring at my Angel to notice, until Nick whistled.

"Wow!" he said and we all looked.

I looked at the girls. I was familiar with how beautiful Melissa was, having seen her dressed up on a number of occasions. But I have to admit Sheri looked very beautiful too. I could see the family resemblance between her and Scott. Both had black curly hair, although Sheri's was halfway down her back. Her green eyes were a little different shade than Scott's, but still nice. She was also tall and lithe. Despite being gay, I could see why Nick and Kevin were attracted to her. Scott walked over to his sister and kissed her cheek. He whispered something to her, making her smile and blush slightly. She whispered something back to him.

Noticing that everyone was there, I glanced at my watch, then decided we needed to move. "Let's go people."

Everyone just smiled and filed out to the limo I had arranged for us. It sat the nine of us comfortably. We relaxed and enjoyed the ride. I held Scott's hand the entire trip, wanting to feel Scott's flesh against mine in any way possible. We arrived at the small Hungarian restaurant about twenty minutes later and piled out.

As we entered, we were greeted by the maitre'de. "Good evening, Mr. Littrell, a pleasure to see you again. Your table is ready," he said to me. I could see everyone's look of surprise and smiled to myself. We followed him to the table and the others noticed that there were no other customers. I reached over and picked up Scott's hand again, which I'd released as we walked from the limo to the restaurant. He looked at me in surprise but didn't release his hold. The only other people in the restaurant were a waiter and pianist.

The nine of us sat down and ordered drinks. Once the maitre'de and waiter left, everyone turned to look at me. Scott and I were still holding hands, clearly visible on top of the table.

"Brian, what have you done?" my cousin asked in confusion.

I grinned happily. "Well, it's the holidays. I wanted to go out and have dinner with my friends and loved ones. This was the only way I could 'really' do that," I explained as I raised Scott's and my entwined hands. I leaned over and kissed him deeply.

The others liked the sentiment as I heard a round of "Awe!"

Scott and I giggled.

The drinks arrived and we ordered our food. Some appetizers had been brought out so we sat and ate and talked. The pianist began to play some slow music. I watched as Howie whispered to Melissa, and they rose to dance. Nick jumped on the idea and asked Sheri. Not wanting to be outdone, I leaned closer to Scott. "Want to put those dance lessons to practice Angel?" I asked, referring to the lesson Kevin had given Scott in Kentucky.

Scott smiled his angelic smile and accepted my hand. It was the first time we'd ever danced together. It was incredible. Without needing to discuss it, we quickly found a rhythm, and Scott allowed me to lead. It was amazing to be holding him in my arms and moving to the beat.

As the food was brought out, we sat back down for dinner; everyone was laughing and talking. After dinner we began to dance again. Scott and I were sitting at the table when we both noticed Kevin and Sheri dancing. Scott got up and walked over to the pianist and spoke quietly to him. He returned to the table with a Cheshire grin and sat down.

"What'd you do?" I asked softly.

Scott just smiled. "Wait."

Music to a waltz began. We watched as Kevin and Sheri glanced at the piano player before looking back at each other. Without speaking, they began to dance, spinning rapidly around the room to the music. The rest of us watched in awe.

I leaned closer to Scott. "Nice one," I whispered. I was so happy to see the genuine smile on Kevin's face. It had been a long time.

The music finally faded and Kevin and Sheri were out of breath. The rest of us applauded. More danceable music began and Howie and Melissa returned to the dance floor. Drew asked Sheri, while I pulled Scott back out to the floor. After a while, Nick interrupted Howie and stole Melissa for a dance. Kevin did the same thing with Drew. Scott and I danced closer to Kevin and Sheri.

"May I cut in?" Scott asked Kevin. I let him go so he could dance with his sister, and Kevin did the same. My mouth was left hanging when he grabbed Kevin instead and swung him away. Sheri and I stood there laughing at Kevin's shocked expression. It was nice to see the others pick up on the light mood. I saw Howie pull Drew out onto the dance floor. I noticed a couple of times AJ dancing with Drew and smiled to myself.

The rest of the evening was spent dancing, swapping dance partners and laughing. It was well after midnight when we finally decided to head home.

I paid the check and left a healthy tip and bonus for the trouble of losing other business while we were there. I joined the others in the limo and leaned back into Scott's strong arm.

He kissed my ear. "Thank you Love. That was the best time out I've ever had!" he whispered.

I turned a little so I could see his eyes. We smiled at each other and settled back for the ride. No words were needed.

We walked back into the house. Sheri walked between Nick and Kevin. I silently hoped that there wouldn't be a problem there. I noticed Drew and AJ were walking very close together too.

While some of the others decided to have a nightcap, Scott and I said goodnight and walked up to our room. Both of us stripped out of our suits down to our boxers before crawling into bed. Just lying next to my Angel, made everything so right.

I was snuggled into the curve of Scott's arm and shoulder, dozing against his warmth. His hand was resting possessively over my heart.

"Brian, love?" Scott said quietly a few minutes later.

"Mmm-hmm?" I managed to murmur.

"Did you notice Drew and AJ this evening?" he asked.

I stopped wiggling and turned slightly so I could see Scott's face. I wanted to see his reaction. I smiled gently. "Yeah," I said with a nod. "I'm not sure what that is about. AJ has never said anything, but I've always wondered if he's been interested in both sides," I admitted. "They would make a cute couple."

Scott kissed my nose. "You've never seen Drew in his 'real' clothes have you?" he asked with a grin. I stared at him in confusion, not having a clue what he was talking about. Scott explained. "The Drew you've seen so far is still mostly the businessman Drew. The real Drew, the weekend Drew... well, lets just say imagine the weirdest AJ has ever been and you have Drew."

I stared at him for a moment trying to picture that in my mind. I managed to stifle a shudder. "You mean we may have to deal with two of them?" I asked in horror.

Scott just laughed and hugged me tightly.

We lay like that for another few minutes until it hit me what I was forgetting. "Oh, I'm such an idiot!" I exclaimed as I jumped out of the bed and went to my suitcase.

"Brian love what are you doing?" Scott asked me from the bed. I ignored him and after rummaging around for a minute I found what I was looking for. I walked back to the bed and sat down, looking at Scott intently.

I didn't want him to get upset at what I'd done. "Now I know we agreed not to buy each other Christmas gifts this year," I said. "And I didn't...BUY one that is," I clarified. I couldn't help but grin like a fool. "It's not a big gift, but its something I want you to have...so you know how much I love you," I added softly.

Scott reached out and tenderly stroked my cheek sending jolts through my body. "Thank you love," he said. "You know I don't need any gift to tell me that you love me. I can feel it in my heart every time you look at me." His words melted me but I still wanted him to have the gift.

Scott took the parcel and tore the wrapping paper off. Inside was a CD case. I grinned at Scott's happy, yet confused expression. I took the CD from him and walked over to the entertainment center. I put the disc in the player and the music began. I watched Scott's expression and knew he recognized the music after only a few notes. It was My Angel, My Heart. I saw the tears of happiness fall down his cheeks and had to blink back my own tears. We had recorded the song in one day while we were in the studio. I'd kept the mainly acoustical sound and added a few more instruments. I didn't even have to ask the guys to sing backup; they volunteered.

I stood by the player until the music faded away. I popped open the machine and carefully took out the disc and put it back in its case. I returned to the bed and handed the case to Scott. His hands were trembling and I covered them with mine, squeezing gently.

Scott was silent for a moment trying to regain his composure. I sat on the bed and waited. I reached out and gently wiped the drying tears from his face. "You like it?" I asked softly, already knowing the answer.

Scott smiled weakly. "It's incredible love," he whispered as he pulled me to him. "You are the most amazing man I've ever met," he whispered into my ear. "Thank you."

His words filled my heart and I pulled back to see his eyes. "I was going to say the same thing about you, Angel," I said softly. "We had some extra time in the studio and I asked the band and the guys to help me. We did it in one live take after about half an hour of rehearsing. The song just recorded itself," I explained. "I have the original DAT, and you have the only burned CD, so the song belongs to us only, and always," I said forcefully. The song was not intended for anyone else's ears unless both Scott and I agreed. I would never allow it to be added to a BSB CD.

Both of us leaned in at the same time for a sweet, gentle kiss. Then Scott pulled back and climbed out of bed. He walked to his own suitcase and I wondered why. I quickly found out as he pulled a wrapped parcel from his bag and walked back over to the bed.

"See, you aren't the only one who breaks the rules," he said with a grin. I felt myself blush. Scott handed me the gift and sat down to watch me.

I was always a sucker for presents and the fact that this one was from my Angel made it that much more special. I smiled and raised the box to my ear where I shook it. It only rattled a little.

I tore the Christmas paper off the box and carefully lifted the lid. I pushed back the tissue paper inside and caught my breath. Inside was a beautifully carved wooden picture frame, but it was the picture inside that brought tears to my eyes. I remembered clearly that October day at Scott's parents, when Sheri asked to take our pictures. I'd almost forgotten, having never seen the developed photos. I was sitting in a chair with my arms over Scott's shoulders as he sat on the floor in front of me. Both of us were smiling, and I could see, even that early in the relationship, the love we had for each other.

I slowly ran my fingers over the glass as I brushed the picture of Scott. Finally I looked up at my Angel, unable to hide the glistening tears. "This is our first family photo," I said softly. I felt a wonderful sense of peace and contentment spread over me as my words really sunk in. I could feel Scott felt the same way. 'Family photo'. The first of many to come.

I hugged the framed picture to me and began to set the box aside. The motion caused something else in the box to move and I glanced down. Inside was a small, wallet-size laminated copy of the same photo. I looked up at Scott and he grinned sheepishly. "I have the same one in my wallet," he said.

I took the small picture out and moved the box. I walked over to the dresser and picked up my wallet. I found an empty slot and slid the picture inside. Now I would always have my Angel with me. Returning the wallet to the dresser, I walked back to the bed.

I stopped beside it and gently pushed Scott back onto the mattress. I crawled up the length of him and laid down, the entire front of our bodies touching. I raised myself up slightly so I could kiss Scott's cheek. "Just when I think I can't love you any more than I already do, you do something to awe me and I find myself loving you even more," I spoke softly, yet intensely.

Scott simply smiled and I knew words weren't necessary. He held me tightly to his chest and we drifted to sleep.

As I woke up, I immediately sensed that something was missing. Without opening my eyes, I felt over the bed for Scott but didn't find him. Before I could roll over I sensed Scott's presence in the room. I could hear him breathing and realized he was standing near the door.

After a few moments of silence I decided to speak. "Are you gonna stand there all day or come over here and wake me up?" I muttered into the pillow. A few seconds later I felt the bed move and a weight moved up on top of me. I felt Scott nibble my ear.

"Morning Love," he said softly. I finally moved, and turned my head until I found his lips. Scott giggled and pulled back. "Morning breath, love!" he said.

Now I wasn't about to lay there and be insulted. I went into action and rolled sudden, using a wrestling move I'd learned from Nick. Scott found himself on his back while I straddled his waist.

I kinda liked that position of power. "Ya know Angel," I said, then paused as I licked Scott's smooth, bare chest. "It's not nice to insult somebody first thing in the morning." I reached behind me and found the growing bulge in his boxers. A quick rub and Scott gasped. "Now, are you going to apologize or do I have to teach you a lesson?" I asked, as my hand began roaming around and finding the entrance of the boxers.

"Well," Scott gasped again as my hand crept inside. "Since I was only telling the truth, I don't think I can apologize." he managed to say, despite the distraction of my hand. I bent down and silenced further comments by kissing him.

We rolled around on the bed necking like two horny teenagers. Unfortunately, we rolled one too many times and suddenly crashed to the floor. We rolled apart and laid there, panting and laughing.

"Are you two okay?" a voice called from outside the door. We just looked at each other and continued giggling.

Scott glanced over at me and we stopped laughing. "God I love you," he said intently. I rolled over and stood up over Scott. I held out my hand and pulled him up until we were face to face. Our eyes were locked.

"I love you too," I said, then leaned forward to gently kiss his sweet lips. Before we could get into anything else, I turned to go to the shower. I heard Scott sigh and leave the room.
