Oops! So its a little past Christmas. What can I say? Life tends to change good intentions. I unexpectedly moved over the holidays then had to spend time and $ to clean and fix the new place. But I finally found time to finish the chapter!

Thank You to all those who have written. For those who asked for the AJ/Drew Chapter...it should be in the mail! If you don't get it, or you didn't email me before, just drop me a line and I'll send you the new chapter!

'Thank You' to David, for the great job on the archive!

Thank You as well, to my chat friends: Rune and Neo You guys are truly the best.

Just a reminder, the Blue text indicates when Scott and Brian are not together.

P.S. I know Brian didn't write the song used, so I used a little creative license.

I waited for the others to get ready and then the five of us left, meeting Marcus outside the room.

Chapter 41 - Brian

To no one's surprise the reporters started off as expected. How does it feel to be home? How is the tour going? But finally they got to the more personal questions.

I almost laughed out loud at the irony as the VJ from Much Music, asked a question about our "relationship status". We had never discussed our answers to this type of question. We had agreed long ago, that it was up to each of us individually how we responded. But considering who was upstairs watching us, it was no surprise when we went down the line and each of us said we were involved or had someone in our life. In turn, we each refused to give any details about the people we are seeing, refusing to give names, ages, or where we met.

Kevin finally halted that line of questioning. "While a lot of details about each of us and our lives and families are already in the public eye. We each believe that our personal lives are just that, personal. If at some point one of the guys wishes to make that information public, that's up to him. But right now, we each want to keep a little bit of ourselves for ourselves." Kevin spoke eloquently and we were all impressed.

The press finally gave up asking personal questions and focused on the concert and plans for the next CD and AJ's upcoming mini-tour. As we had expected, AJ's little solo tour had created stories of our breakup so we quickly dispelled those rumors.

I wanted to scream when some annoying reporter asked that damn question about boxers or briefs! Finally the conference ended and the reporters were escorted out. We waited until they were gone before heading down to the sub-basement and our dressing rooms.

I went into hair and makeup first, then to costume. I started to feel nervous about singing the new song for Scott, so I grabbed my Walkman and found a quiet corner to relax in for a few minutes. I put the headphones on and closed my eyes. A couple of minutes later I realized I was humming along to the song on the radio. I sat up and listened closer. The music was slow, borderline country and pop, but it was the lyrics that caught my attention. The words were beautiful and I knew I'd found the perfect song.

Feeling more centered, I took off the headphones and started vocals. Finally Kevin tracked me down for the Circle. We walked out into the largest part of the hallway where everyone was standing around. Noting that we were all there, we grasped hands. AJ led the prayer. As he finished, he paused then added one more thing. "And thank you for giving our little brother the ability to meddle so well, I think we all appreciate it." The circle broke up with everyone smiling.

I glanced at Nick and found him blushing. I couldn't resist walking over and messing up his hair. "You done good, bro," I said sincerely. He just smiled.

The opening act was just about finished so we took our places. I felt the familiar surge of adrenaline that always hit, just before the lights went up.

It was great to be back performing in Orlando since it was where we'd started. The concert went flawlessly. We finished Larger Than Life and took one of the stage elevators down to the dressing room. We all quickly changed and took the platform back up to the stage. Our stools were in the right spot so we each sat down and waited for the crowd to calm. I quickly searched out Scott and found him watching me intently. I smiled slightly and returned my attention to performing.

"How you doing Orlando?" AJ shouted to the crowd, generating a new burst of noise.

"We have a special surprise for you tonight!" Nick continued. The audience roared.

"We have a new song, that will be on our next CD, but we've never performed it live before," Howie added. The crowd screamed.

"And it was written by my talented cus, Brian," Kevin said, causing another explosion of noise.

As Kevin spoke I looked back at Scott and smiled again. Then I looked back up and spoke. "I accidentally hurt someone very close to me and I wrote this song as an apology. This is for you Angel!" I had thought for a long time about what I wanted to say. I hoped song understood and listened closely to what I was saying in the song.

The music started, and I began to sing. "Even a lover makes a mistake sometimes. Like any other, fall out and lose his mind. And I'm sorry for the things I did. For your teardrops over words I said. Can you forgive me and open your heart once again, oh yeah."

All five of us sang the chorus. "It's true, I mean it, from the bottom of my heart. Yeah, it's true, without you I would fall apart. Yeah, yeah"

AJ started the next verse_, "Whatever happened, I know that I was wrong, oh yes. Can you believe me? Maybe your faith is gone? (Oh yes it is)"_

Then Nick took over_, "But I love you and I always will. So I wonder if you want me still? Can you forgive me and open your heart once again? Oh yeah."_ I could see Scott already crying at the words and had to force myself not to cry too.

The chorus again. "It's true, I mean it, from the bottom of my heart. Yeah, it's true, without you I would fall apart. Yeah, yeah"

I sang the next line while I stared directly at Scott, "I'd do anything to make it up to you. So please understand, and open your heart once again."

"It's true, I mean it, from the bottom of my heart. Yeah, it's true, without you I would fall apart. Yeah, yeah It's true, I mean it, from the bottom of my heart. Yeah, it's true, without you I would fall apart. Yeah, yeah Oh yeah, it's true"

The song came to an end. "I love you Angel," I added before the stools were taken away in preparation for the next song. The music started up again, and I had to force myself to concentrate. I took a few quick looks at Scott just to make sure he was okay. He remained sitting during all of the next song, but I could tell Sheri and Drew were both talking with him. By the next song, he was smiling again and standing. I was relieved and turned my full attention back to the remainder of the concert.

After two and a half hours of singing, the concert finally came to an end. We did our requisite encore, then quickly disappeared down some hidden stairs. We walked quickly to the dressing room to gather our personal stuff before heading to the elevator that would take us back upstairs. We didn't want to stop for showers, instead hoping we could get out before the mob.

We reached the lounge and I was the first one through. Scott saw me and ran over, lifting me up in his arms. He plastered me with kisses and I returned them just as enthusiastically as I wrapped my legs around his waist. I just couldn't get enough of him.

Scott started to walk and I just held on. He found a couch and turned to sit down, so I bent my knees until I was kneeling over him. The kiss finally ended when we both needed to breathe. My eyes found his and locked.

"Miss me?" I asked with a cocky grin.

I was flying on the adrenaline from the concert and the fact that Scott was here. Scott kissed me forcefully. "You know I did," he said. "I thought I was going to completely fall apart," he added. He didn't need to explain why.

I was happy and relieved. "So you liked it?" I asked softly.

Scott smiled. "It was beautiful, Brian. And if I haven't actually said the words, I do forgive you!" he said.

I smiled happily. I already knew he had forgiven me, but hearing the words still made me feel better.

With his usual timing, Kevin interrupted our little love-fest.

"Guys, unless you want to be stuck here for a couple of hours, we have to go, NOW," he told us. It was true. If we didn't beat the fan rush, we would have to stay until the place was basically empty.

Scott gently pushed me off his lap and stood up. He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the door. "Okay, lets go!" he said, looking at everyone else.

The rest of us laughed at his eagerness and I hugged him. The ten of us, plus the security team quickly made our way to the elevators, then along the halls to the secured exit. There were two limos this time and four SUVs. Kevin, Sheri, Scott and myself got in one limo, since we were going to the same building. The others took the larger limo, and would be dropped off at their respective residences, which were in the same part of town. Each limo had a SUV in front and back to provide extra security in case fans tried to follow.

Once in the limo we relaxed back in the plush leather seats. Scott pulled me close, wrapping his arms around me. I loved sitting like that and hoped he would never let go. As the limo made its way through the streets of Orlando, my adrenaline rush faded leaving me exhausted. I could see Kevin was also coming down. In the comfort of Scott's arms I started to drift to sleep.

When the car stopped, Scott gently kissed my cheek. "Come on Love, lets go home," he said softly trying to stir me.

I sighed and opened my eyes. "Angel," I whispered with a tremendous smile, so grateful that he was with me. Scott returned my smile before stepping out of the car. Kevin and Sheri were waiting for us and we all walked into the building.

I was still partly asleep so simply followed the others to the elevator. I heard Scott talk to Kevin. "Kev, when is the next concert and where?" he asked.

"We have the next three days off, with only a rehearsal on the third day. The next concert is on the fifth in New Orleans," Kevin said. "Then a second the next night," he added.

Scott nodded. "Okay, thanks."

The elevator stopped and Kevin and Sheri stepped off. Before the door closed Scott spoke again. "Oh, and don't expect to see or hear from us at all tomorrow," he said with a smirk.

They laughed and the door slid closed. I leaned heavily against Scott's side as the elevator continued up.

"Mmmm," I sighed. "I just want to take a nice hot shower and crawl into bed with you in my arms," I murmured.

Scott smiled. "Sounds good to me."

We walked down the hall and paused while Scott opened the apartment door. I staggered in and tore off my jacket. I walked down to the bathroom, pulling my clothes off as I went. I started the water then nearly collapsed onto the toilet seat. I watched Scott, noticing that he had picked up my discarded clothes. He set my clothes down then began to strip.

"God, I'm so tired," I murmured. The concert normally tires me, but the days before Scott arrived had been nerve-wracking and I hadn't slept well.

Scott finished stripping and pulled me to my feet. He opened the shower door and gently pushed me inside then quickly stepped in behind me, closing the door behind him. The shower stall was hot and steamy, just perfect for relaxing tense and tired muscles. Scott grabbed the shower puff and poured some shower gel on it. Working the gel into a rich lather, he gently started washing me. I stood silently under the soothing spray of water while Scott worked his way around my body, down my back and legs, then across my chest. I could feel his love for me in every touch. Scott turned me under the water to rinse off the suds, before grabbing the bottle of shampoo. He applied some to my wet hair and massaged it through. I simply closed my eyes and moaned softly. It felt so good.

Once the shampoo was rinsed, Scott moved me over so he could wash himself. I leaned against the shower wall and watched, enjoying the ripples of his muscles under his wet skin. The rest of my body noticed too! When Scott finished he turned back to me, quickly noticing my arousal. He grinned and stepped over to press the length of his body against mine.

"Need some help?" He asked softly, our faces so close that our breath mingled.

I started to answer, but was suddenly overwhelmed by a huge yawn. We both burst into laughter.

"Guess that answers your question, Angel," I finally said. Parts of my body were willing, but the rest of me needed rest.

Scott leaned forward to kiss me softly. "Not quite," he whispered, before dropping carefully to his knees, and taking my cock into his mouth. The sensation was unexpected and my hips moved forward automatically. Scott grabbed me to keep his balance. He quickly began to work me, tonguing and sucking. All I could do was lean against the wall and feel. Thankfully he decided not to torment me. It only took a couple of minutes before I called out his name and fed him my warm juices.

Between Scott and the wall, I managed to remain on my feet. My eyes were closed and I was panting trying to regain composure. Every few seconds my entire body would twitch like a live wire. I heard Scott shut off the shower and open the door. He took my arm and slowly led me out. I stood unsteadily while he briskly toweled me dry. I managed to stand to brush my teeth while Scott dried himself. Once we were done, Scott led me out to the bedroom. He pulled back the blankets on my side of the bed and gently pushed me down onto the soft mattress. The blankets were tucked in then he walked around to the other side and crawled in beside me. I automatically rolled over closer to him, throwing my arm across his chest, and my leg over his thighs. I tucked my head against his neck.

"What about you?" I whispered my first words since the shower. I wasn't sure if I had the energy to do anything for him, but I didn't want him to think I didn't care.

Fortunately Scott understood. He squeezed me gently. "You can return the favor tomorrow," he replied softly.

"Kay," I mumbled and drifted into oblivion.

I woke up warm and comfy in Scott's arms. He was still asleep so I carefully wiggled out of his arms so I could sit and watch him. He was so gorgeous and I was so thankful he was mine. I could see his morning erection under the blankets and got a wicked idea. Carefully I pulled the blankets down exposing his thickening flesh. Without touching the rest of his body I leaned forward and started to gently lap at him. I licked up his shaft like an ice cream cone, before moving lower to nibble gently on his full balls. It only took a few minutes before his balls moved up and I knew he was about to cum. He still hadn't stirred but I knew the orgasm would wake him. A few more licks, then I took the head of his cock in my mouth and suckled. I heard Scott wake, just as his body erupted. He gasped but I was too busy cleaning up all the evidence. Finally I looked up at him and grinned.

"Sorry," I said insincerely, "but I couldn't wait."

Scott just grinned at me and reached down to pull me up. I stretched out over him, laying on him so we were eye to eye.

I smiled. "Morning, Angel," I said softly before leaning in for a gentle kiss.

Scott returned the smile. He was nicely relaxed after his orgasm. "Morning, Love." He wrapped his arms around my back and I put my head down on his chest. We lay like that for quite a while, neither of us sleeping but simply enjoying the closeness.

A while later I had to move when my stomach rumbled. Scott laughed softly. It was time to get up. I reluctantly rolled off my comfortable perch, then stood up. I reached down and pulled Scott to his feet. "Lets go get some food and decide what we're going to do for the next couple of days okay Scott?" I knew today was the day we really had to talk about the reality of coming out publicly.

Scott leaned down and kissed my cheek. "Sounds good to me Love."

We both pulled on boxers before wandering, hand in hand, down to the kitchen. Together we whipped up a meal of cinnamon toast, scrambled eggs and bacon.

After we sat down to eat, I looked at Scott seriously. "Before we decide anything else Scott, I think we should talk about the some of the possible negative things that will happen when I come out." I wondered if he really knew about all the hazards that we could face.

Scott nodded his agreement. "Okay, Bri."

We quickly devoured the food then put the dishes in the sink. I led Scott out to the living room where we sat on one of the large couches, facing each other. I was worried. The more I thought about things the worse I felt. What would I do if the negatives were more than Scott could deal with?

Scott reached out and gently stroked my cheek. "What's wrong, Love?" he asked softly.

I smiled weakly and grasped my hand, bringing it to my lips for a kiss. "You know me, I worry about everything," I said quietly.

Scott moved his arm and grabbed my wrist, tugging me towards him. He stretched out and turned on his side, letting me slide down between the back of the couch and his front. He looked at me intently. "Brian, Love, the one thing you never have to worry about is me and how I feel about you." He kissed me gently again.

I took a deep breath. "I'm trying." I paused to collect my thoughts. "It's just... do you really know how crazy things could get, even dangerous?" I asked.

"Dangerous?" He asked, a little surprised.

I nodded. My fingers began to trace a random pattern over Scott's chest as I began to talk. "You know the media will go nuts. Everyone will be following our families, and us trying to find out something, anything about us. If they can't get any dirt, they will make something up. Fans, and parents of fans, will be outraged. Hate mail is guaranteed, and that's before the religious fanatics take up the cause against us. Its possible that friends, or people we think are friends will turn their backs on us. Others will start harassing you and your family, trying to get money." I paused and my eyes found his emerald ones. "And the worst will be those people who will blame you for 'corrupting' me." I blinked back unshed tears. "I don't want you to feel that hate on such a large scale. I don't want you facing death threats. And the most scary part, is that all of this, will scare you away from me," I admitted as the tears finally fell.

I could see Scott was surprised, but also understanding. He wrapped his arms around my trembling body. He rocked us gently on the couch, letting me cry out my fears. Gradually I calmed, but he didn't release his hold on me.

Once I was calm again, Scott spoke. "Brian, first of all, nothing, and I do mean NOTHING, will chase me away from you. I have thought about most of the issues you mentioned. And I'm willing to make whatever changes in my life are necessary to be with you. If that means having a bodyguard, I will. If that means I don't read the 'rag' magazines anymore, I won't." I couldn't help but smile because I knew he had never read one of those trash magazines before. "If my so-called friends have a problem, then they were never friends."

Scott gently moved me back so he could see my face. "I don't know how we are going to do this, but I think we need to take the initiative. If we let the world see the 'real' us, and do it in a controlled manner, maybe there will be less of a media frenzy on our families and friends. That's something we need to think about."

I thought that was a good idea. "You are incredible, Angel. I love you so much," I murmured. Scott grinned and kissed me, deciding that we needed to forget the serious stuff for a while.
