pride and love a new beginning chapter 5
Tim was the first to wake on a wonderful day after Christmas. He looked over to see Heath still sound asleep but as usual he had his hand firmly wrapped around his hard dick. Tim was getting to like the feeling waking up to that. He gently moved Heath's hand and got out of bed and grabbed his clothes he was going to wear and headed for the bathroom. He brushed his teeth and took a shower and returned to the bedroom. When he went back into the bedroom he saw Heath sitting on the side of the bed, he had his head in his hands and appeared to be sobbing. Tim went over and sat down beside him put his arm over his shoulder and asked " what's wrong. "
Heath looked up and stated " I am very glad you are with me but I am also very depressed because I was so looking forward to spending Jeremy's and my first Christmas together. " He looked at Tim and said " I really miss him. "
Tim was very understanding of Heath's feeling but he was beginning to think that he would never be able to get out of Jeremy's shadow. He loved Jeremy as well and it was hard for him to accept the loss as well, he was able to handle it by replacing his hurt and anger with the love and happiness that he now had with Heath. He was hoping that Heath would be able to some day feel the same. He would just have to wait and see how long it would take.
Heath rested his head of Tim's shoulder and put his arm around his waist. He said that he hoped that Tim could forgive him this little trip back through time to when he had everything he wanted with Jeremy.
Tim was starting to feel that Heath was only together with him because he was missing Jeremy and that he would never be able to be with Heath on his own terms. This was eating him up inside and he did not know how long he could take it. He had taken a trip into the future and was trying to figure out if he left Heath where would he go. He was not showing much emotion and was totally locked into his own thoughts.
Heath said " Tim are you listening to what I am saying? " He reached up and took Tim's chin in his hand and turned his face to himself and said " Tim wake up. "
Tim blinked his eyes and realinzed that he was facing Heath. He said " sorry " What did you say?
Heath told him that he had been talking to him for almost ten minutes and that he had not heard a word he said. Then he asked him if he was okay.
Tim had a very unhappy look on his face and said " no I am not okay "
Heath asked " what is it. "
Tim looked at Heath and said " first I want you to know that I have never cared for anyone more than you and Jeremy. " There seems to be someone between us that is stopping us from really becoming a couple. I have to weigh this and see if I can take it any longer. You know that I loved Jeremy almost as much as you and I miss him just as much as you do but I can not compete with him. He was the first person that you ever loved and it will always be something special for you. He is dead and I am not and as long as you keep him between us we can not be true a couple.
Heath stood up and said " how can you talk about him like that? "
Tim stood up and looked Heath in the eyes and said " I guess I should go. " He went to the closet opened it and took out his jacket and headed down stairs. He said good morning to mom and dad and said " I have to go out for a while. "
Mom asked " are you hungry? "
Tim turned to mom and with a single tear running down his face said " I have no appetite, sorry " Then he went and opened the door and left.
Heath was not aware that Tim had left. He had taken a shower and cleaned up then got dressed and came down to have breakfast. When he got into the kitchen he saw that Tim was not there. He asked mom " where's Tim? "
Mom said " I do not know he said he had to go out for a while and then left. "
Heath was thinking and trying to figure out where he could have gone. He went over and looked out the window and saw that the car was still there. He opened the door and went outside to see if he could see Tim. He walked around the house and Tim was no where to be found. Heath went back inside and asked his mom if Tim had left with just that little jacket on because it was about 35 degrees out.
Mom said " he did have a jacket on but did not know which one it was. " Mom said " he will be back he just needed to go out for a little while.
Heath sat down and had breakfast and all the time he was worried about Tim. He had thought about what Tim said and realized that he really had only been going through the motions with him. He did care deeply for Tim but he was so fixated on Jeremy that he was not able to show Tim how he really cared. They had had sex and they both enjoyed it but even that was not enough to get his mind off the loss of Jeremy. He went back up stairs and called some of the people that he and Tim knew and asked if they had seen him. everyone responded that they had not seen him since they got out of school just before Christmas. He was now becomming very nervous about the situation. He tried calling Tim's cell phone but got no answer, he left a message and asked him to please call. Hours passed by quickly and before he knew it it was getting to be lunch time and still no word from Tim.
Mom asked Heath " could he be at his parents house? "
Heath said " I don't know. "
Just then there was a knock on the door. Heath jumped up and ran to the door and opened saying " Tim where have yoou been " and the FedEx guy said sorry I am just delivering this package.
Heath said " sorry I thought you were someone else " He looked and saw that it was the cell phone that Tim's mother was sending him. He started to open the box and mom said " Heath that is not your package and you have no right opening it. " He said " it is the phone that his mom sent him and if I open it I can call to see if he is there. "
Mom said " you will do no such thing. "
Heath said " mom he has been gone for almost 8 hours and I am getting worried. " I don't know what I would do if anything happened to him. "
Mom looked at Heath and said " is there something you are not telling me? "
Heath said " well he was sort of upset with me this morning, it had to do with Jeremy. "
Mom looked at him and said " You have been thinking so much about him lately that you have been neglecting some of the things that you have to do around here and I suspect you have been shutting Tim out as well. I can see it in his eyes that he loves you very much and I think that you have been so wrapped up in your own feelings that you are ignoring him.
Heath looked at mom and said " mom you are right and I see that now, I just hope it is not to late for me to make it up to him. "
Mom smiled at him and said " only time will tell. "
Heath was pacing throough the house like a caged lion. He was going upstairs and then back down through the kitchen and into the family room and then would go outside and walk the neighborhood and then return again all with no results. It was getting to be dinner time and he was now becomming even more upset. He was thinking back to this morning and the way he had snapped at Tim and he could only imagine how much he must have hurt him with his statement. After dinner he ran into the family room and turned on the weather channel to see what the temperature was outside and it had dropped to just under freezing and he was beginning to think that Tim was never coming back and it was all his fault. Heath sat on the sofa in the living room and was just staring out the front window watching for Tim to come back. It was getting to be about 10:00 and the temperature outside was now down to 24 degrees.
Mom called the police and asked if they had seen Tim and gave them a description of him and the cloths he was wearing when he left this morning. The dispatcher told her that she would check with the officers on duty and see if they had run across him some time during the day and call back in a few minutes.
Heath came into the family room and looked at mom and said " Tim has nowhere to go, his dad through him out and he has no relatives anywhere near. I have called all his friends and no one has seen or heard from him. " Mom what can we do? Heath said " I just can't believe that he would do this. "
Mom looked at Heath and said " young man you are just as much at fault here if not more for what is happeming now. " She then said " maybe you should stop and think about how you would feel if the shoe was on the other foot. "
Heath said " mom I am so sorry about what I said earlier but how can I make it up to him if he never comes back? " It was now 11: 30 and it was even colder outside. Heath was going to stay up until Tim came home. He told mom that she could go to bed and if any thing happened he would wake her up.
Mom and dad went to bed. They were not able to sleep either but did not want to show Heath any sign of their worries.
Heath was sitting on the sofa and was staring out the window waiting for some sign or to see Tim come walking up to the house. The temperature was falling quickly and it was getting to be about 10 degrees. It was sure torture for Heath just sitting there waiting. He did not know this morning just how much he needed Tim but as the day went on he began to see that Tim was more than he thought. He made a promise to himself that if or when Tim decided to come back that he would never again treat him like he did this morning.
Mom came out into the living room at about 3:45 and said I think we should call the police again.
Heath got up and walked over to the phone and said " I will call I am the one that caused this in the first place " Just as he was about to pick up the phone it started to ring. He jumped back as it startled him and then grabbed it and said " hello "
The person on the other end of the phone said " this is the ISPD, we are calling because he have located a young man that fit the description that you called in before. We found him laying beside the highway. He was taken to Our Lady Of Hope Hospital.
Heath said " thank you for calling and we will be right there. "
Mom asked " what's going on "
Heath said " he is in the hospital we need to go right away. "
Mom said "where is he? "
Heath said " Our Lady Of Hope Hospital. "
Mom went in and got dressed and told dad and that they would call as soon as they got there.
They both went out to the car and had a hard time getting it started. When it finally did start they needed to have it warm up and defrost the windows. Heath was going crazy. Mom was backing out of the drive and way soon on the way to the hospital. When they arrived mom asked the nurse where he was and then they headed up to his room. When they got there the nurse was inthe room and was checking his fingers and toes for frost bite. His face was very red and looked almost as if he was sunburned. the nurse turned and said that he was given a sedative to help him sleep and that he may be a little groggy.
Heath walked up to the side of the bed and gently took his hand and was holding it.
Tim was unaware of the surroundings and was talking in his sleep. He said " Jeremy I can not compete with you " "Heath will never feel anything for me like he did for you "
Heath bent over and whispered in Tim's ear " You will never have to worry about Jeremy again, I have made my peace with him, and now it is just you and me if you still want me." He noticed a single tear rolling down Tim's face and he bent down and kissed it away.
Tim opened his eyes and said " I am sorry I caused you all this trouble, I will leave when I get better. "
Heath said " Tim I was wrong, I was treating you unfairly and you should have never been treated like that. " I promise that it will never happen again.
Mom came in and told Heath that she was going to go home and that the nurse advised her that if he wanted to stay here that he could.
Heath looked at his mom and said " mom I will never leave him alone again, I will always be by his side. " I want to be her when he wakes in the morning so that I can tell him that as well. He sat there all night holding Tim's hand because he did not want him to feel like he had to go through anything ever again by himself.
Morning broke and Tim woke up and saw Heath sleeping in the chair and holding his hand. He pulled his hand away.
Heath jumped up and was startled by the move and them looked at Tim and said " Do you think that you could find it in your heart to let my talk to you.
Tim said " go ahead in a nonchalant way. " Then turned his head away from Heath.
Heath picking up on that right away knew that he had his work ahead of him. He started by saying that this was basisically all his fault and that he was the one that should be saying he was sorry for the way that he had been treating him. He followed that by saying that he had been so wrapped up in his own grief that he did not stop to think about anyone elses. He had been missing Jeremy so much that what and how others had been affected by all of this was something that he was not aware of. He asked Tim " do you think that you would be able to look at me while I talk to you. Heath once again did not take into consideration what Tim was feeling like at this paticular moment.
Tim turned and looked at Heath, and with tears streaming down his face said " I am sorry for all the trouble I caused you and your family " and said Maybe you would be better off without me "
Heath saw the tears and knew that he had hurt Tim deeply with his statement yesterday morning. He asked " Tim please I have to say something and I want you to understand. " I have been very happy with the sex that we have been having and I am happy with you as well. I have not been able to tell you how much you mean to me because I was feeling that it would have been disrespectful to my memory of Jeremy. What I was to blind to see is that I have found myself someone else that I think the world of and was just afraid to say anything. Please give me another chance to prove to you that we can be every bit as much a couple as Jeremy and I were.
Tim looked at Heath and said maybe I was at fault as well. Maybe I was expecting you to just forget about Jeremy. I know that if it were me I would also have a hard time forgetting Jeremy. Would you mind very much if I came back and stayed with you and proved to you that I love you more than life itself. I never wanted to leave but I thought that you were still so much in love with Jeremy that you did not have any room in your heart for me.
Heath said " I promise that if you come back it will all be different between us. "
Tim was still crying and was still uncertain that his love for Heath would ever be returned but he was willing to give it another chance. He said I would be very happy to come back if you still want me.
Heath smiled and wiped away the tears on Tim's face and said " More than anything else. " He slid his hand under the covers and said " I will not only take care of you but you will have all the love I can give. He rubbed Tim's soft dick and said. I also promise that this will never ever be lonely. I am yours now until you decied you have had enough of me. I will be right back and he went out to the nurses station and asked when Tim would be able to go home.
The nurse said " as soon as we see about any frostbite he should be able to go home. Then she asked " if are you Heath? " I think that you should hear what he said last night. He said that no matter what please tell Heath that I love him and am sorry for hurting him. The phone ran at the station and the nurse was told that Tim could go home but meeded to stay inside for the next couple days. The nurse told Heath what the doctor said and He said " You have my word that he will stay inside until school starts again. The nurse smiled and said " I know you will take care of him. " Heath said " you can count on it "
Heath took out his cell phone and called his mom and said " she could come and get them "
Mom arrived at the hospital and after signing some release papers they were on their way home. When she saw Tim at the hospital she looked at him and said don't you ever do this again. "
Tim smiled and said. Thank you and it will never happen again. "
They arrived home and it was to say the least a very quiet day and time went by rather quickly. Tim and Heath went upstairs and were in their room for a better part of the day only coming down to eat lunch and dinner. It was getting to be about 8:30 and Tim who had managed to rest somewhat during the night was exhausted and Heath who had been up almost all night was falling alseep while Tim was talking to him.
Tim said " Heath I think we both need to go to bed. " He leaned in and kissed Heath on the cheek and whispered after I have sex with you for the next hour.
Heath said " if that is what you want then I am all yours. " He reached over and started to play with Tim's dick and it started to get hard right away.
Tim grabbed his hand and said " I was only kidding lets just go to sleep. " I am going to the bathroom and I will be right back. When Tim returned he foung Heath sitting on the side of the bed sound asleep. He knelt down in front of Heath and took of his shoes and socks, he removed his shirt and gently laid him down and took off his pants and while he slid them off his boxers came with them. Tim stood and just took in the sight of the person that he loved so much and how he want badly to take him then but knew that he would not be a very good friend if he did. He bent down kissed him on the lips and said " good night my love. " He got undressed and went and turned out the light and got in bed. He scooted up next to Heath and as he did Heath rolled over and just like clock work he took a hold of Tim's soft dick and then Tim fell asleep. Tim was dreaming about how hard it would have been not to ever see Heath again.
Heath was dreaming about how lucky he was to be able to say the Tim was his boyfriend and how much he loved him.
