Some of the adults became more the leaders of the kids, in the Saturday afternoon rounds of miniature golf, with interchanging adult chaperones in between rounds.

A kid at heart, Alex Nouguet loved playing miniature golf as much as the boys, so it was of no imposition to lead, teach and follow.

"Are you a professional golfer, Alex?" Adrian Tetreau's nephew, Cedric inquires.

At first, Desi didn't notice, but as the afternoon wore on, his attention was caught up in how Cedric acted, regarding the adults vs. their common friends. Though Desi really didn't have an idea, he supposed, a teenager who was 17 or 18 years old, would more be attached to conversation with adults, rather than a 10 year old. Even though 11 years old himself, Desi's father often remarked to strangers or people they knew, how grown up his son could act. Taking this into consideration, Desi concluded this was not the same of how Cedric was acting. He thought, if Cedric were a decade and a few years older, he could very well be a match up for Alex, much like Jake and his father mated up as a couple. It was weird and since Desi could not figure it out, he dashed it from his mind and concentrated on having fun with the other boys.

The dads, other than Alex, Adam, Jake and Adrian's friend, Seamus Allig, stood on the sidelines.

For Jake, it was the first time he ever tried his hand at miniature golf. He got mocked out more than once by the boys, in particular when he slugged the golf ball so hard, it went flying out of the court and hit the course centerpiece, the lighthouse!

He loved the attention, the kids rallying around him with praise and `persecution'. However, it had special meaning, Desi's ridicule, "Way to go, Jake!" Not that it was special, but to Jake, coming from the son of his boyfriend, out of all the boys, the comment drew a melancholy feeling. Whether it was meant as jeering or joy in his wacky play, Jake took it as kindness, "Thanks!"

As a result of Jake staring at him, singling Desi out of the crowd, the 11 year old smiles. What had come over Desi is the soft, calm, loving feeling from praise, as his dad would render. Taking up following Alex and Adam's lead, Desi walks over to Jake, tags his hand and says, "We better catch up!"

Seamus who sort of hung back, tells Jake, when Desi takes up to meet up with the other boys, "You're a lucky man, Jake."

He knew Seamus stood on the sidelines before joining up with kids in the game and wondered just what the conversation stirred up. Rather than ponder through the whole game and rest of the day, Jake simply asks, "Oh?"

Judging from the short chat he had with Diego, Seamus replies, "I hear you're ready to set up house with Diego and Desi?"

Jake smiled. It was a feeling he had, even after only knowing the intergenerational couple, going on the second day of being together. Yesterday morning, getting ready for work, he never would have guessed how fate would put a spin into his life, "Could very well be," he acted modestly, but also did not want to jump to conclusions, whereas if things did not end up the way he pictured it, or by circumstance what has been built up, crumbled before the weekend was out, he didn't want to be disappointed.

"Well," Seamus says, now that he's completed part of the puzzle, gossiping to find out if Diego's feelings were credible, "we better get on down the road!"

It was a total mystery to Jake, but when Seamus tore away in favor of following the crowd, he kind of got an idea of what the Aussie meant. Jake didn't discount the fact, Seamus being a hot man, but he already had his sights set on someone else!

"Nice place you have here," Koby relays to Jon Darke.

Though, Jon had suddenly ducked out and left Koby standing in the foyer, upon which, out of boredom, chooses to show himself around. One part of a double door was opened, so he welcomed himself in, standing in the middle of a rather large room which housed some odd and some familiar equipment one would see at a photography studio. What he could recognize as cameras, one hooked up to a laptop, upon which, when he touched the `K', picking his own name, the screensaver kicked off and he found the connecting camera was pointing towards the off white sofa.

Saying to himself, "Ah, I suddenly feel weary," he walks over to the sofa, throws himself the length of his bod into it, parks his hands behind his head and chills, "ah-h-h-h, now this is the life!"

"Sorry to have left you, but I had to make a terribly important phone call," Jon Darke reappears.

"No problem," Koby says, totally immersed in the soft cushions of the sofa.

"Have you met Kennety?"

With a sexy approach, Koby replies, "Should I?"

He well knew Koby didn't lay eyes on Kennety, Jon having stood in his office, looking out over the extravagant back yard, seeing Kennety and few others skinny-dipping in the pool. After he hung up from talking with his `friend' on the board of the Maritime Commission, and even though he could have shouted to Kennety from the deck, he used the modern, convenient method, Kennety retrieving the message to meet him in the studio in five minutes.

In response to how Jon perceived something of a sleek, sexual connotation, responds to Koby, "He's drying off from the pool."

Unknown to Jon, Kennety had entered the studio, but Jon very well found out soon enough.

Koby had thought he had fallen asleep and was in a hot dream, wiping his eyes. The view, past Jon, was of this dude in the door frame. Only coverup clinging to the dude's bod was a white towel hanging over the shoulder, hiding his right pec!

"No," Koby slowly sat, then worked to get to his feet, "we haven't met." Though, pitter patters from down yonder were propelling him along, `wanting' like the dickens to meet the nude figure.

"Nice to meet you," he beat Jon Darke to it, Kennety stepping into the room.

"Same here," Koby, like a gentleman, extends a hand.

Taking it, Kennety, used the hand to freely, in the sexual atmosphere, reel Koby in and without inhibition, hugs, forces himself on Koby, saying, "We've got to get you out of these clothes and into something more comfortable."

Going with it, for the immediate moment, Koby fully agrees, "Um, sure... Whatever..."

As if Koby were his brother, or lover, Kennety takes him under his wing, his armpit, and begins to lead him away.

It's only then Koby had forgotten, remembers, turns to Jon, "They're waiting for me at Eden's Garden." Pleading, "I really need the job."

"Forget Eden," Jon replies, "Kennety will put you to work. How does $20 an hour start?"

Not in the shadows about what Jon Darke's name means to the porn industry, with suspicion Koby asks, "Doing what and for how many hours?"

Jon turns to Kennety, "I dunno... What did you have in mind, Kennety?"

Left with mouth temporary in the thinking stages, open wide, like ready to accept a fat cock, Kennety thinks, coming up with, "Here," he hands Koby his towel, whipping it off his shoulder, "fold this."

"Fold your towel? What for?" Koby responds, taking the damp fabric.

He had the cutest expression, which followed, along with a sarcastic, "Just do it?"

It was probably the comedic approach, leaving Kennety looking as cute as hell, Koby took the towel and with a few swinging maneuvers, had it folded up into a neat little bundle, "How's this?"

"Good. You're hired," Kennety took Koby by the arm, like he was an escort for the Academy Awards.

He allowed himself to be led away, asking, "Hired as what?" Before entirely leaving the room, Koby turns back, waves, "Bye, Jon!"

Just shooing Koby away with his hand, he goes about his business. In reality, Kennety was more like a son to him. Not all the boys he met along the Berkeley Point service road were from `around here.' When he picked Kennety Crawford up, he was a 17 year old runaway, who was half-starving. Originally, Jon thought, because of his incredible good looks and good sense of humor, he would make a fine asset to his entourage of actors. Then again, he found Kennety had skills which could help out, more than a fuck tool, for the industry. Of course Jon was pro-education and set Kennety up at the Berkeley-Ventrow Academy, completing his education. At 20 years old, Kennety was now in his second year of college, earning a degree in customer service management.

Right now, acting as Jon's personal nuncio, led him from the studio to the hallway. Happening upon a guy, decked out in only a speedo, Kennety addresses him, "Gerard, this is Koby. Jon's instructions are to make Koby comfortable in his home?"

"I'll see to it right away, sir."

Whisked away, right after Gerard nods to Koby, leaves the two standing there, Koby wondering what the message is, passed from Kennety to the attendant. Nonchalantly he asks, "So, what's up?"

Onto the next room, white double doors, admits them to the kitchen, Kennety asking, "Hungry?"

"I had a bowl of cornflakes a while ago?" Koby asks, but is more intrigued my seeing a guy naked'. Well, he wasn't sure he was totally` naked, because he could only see the guy from the treasure trail, up!

He found out soon enough, the chef probably adhering to some health rules regarding food safety, by having to keep his loins caged up, when he steps out from behind the counter, cleansing his hands with an apron, which was supposed to be tied up around his neck, "Welcome to my kitchen!"

Somehow, as it always does, word had gotten around the beachside estate and the chef had already conjured up a late afternoon lunch menu.

"Thanks," Koby replies.

Kennety says, like a joke, "Last time Koby ate, it was cornflakes for breakfast," stops for quick intro's, "Koby, this is Eduardo."

Because his hands had been mixing greasy meatloaf, Eduardo says, "Always happy to see a new mate come aboard!"

Before Koby can speak, Kennety jumps in with, "Whatever you're thinking Eduardo, you can unthink it, because Koby isn't here for what you think he's here for!"

Koby knew a lot of the pieces of the puzzle were missing, simply saying, "It's nice to meet you, Eduardo."

Happy-go-lucky, Eduardo replies, "You win some... You lose some!" he laughs!

To the chef, Kennety addresses, "Got something to fill him up?"

If it were one of the boys around the house, Jon's chef would have an answer right away. However, with meeting Koby like, right now, "I'll have something sent out to the pool."

"Great," Kennety replies. "Give Matt a ring when you're ready."

On their way out, through one of two huge sliding glass doors, tinted blue, Koby asks, "Jon sure has a lot of butlers. You, you're the head butler?"

Chuckling, Kennety says, "It would seem that way. No, we're not butlers, but more like `attendants'. Excepting myself, no one person has a title around here. Like working out in the gym, we're all crosstrained."

"Except you. What makes you so special?"

Stopping short of a private gate to the pool, Kennety replies, "Jon and I, we have a special thing going."

"Lovers? Partners?"

Telling it like it is, putting it upfront, Kennety says, "Jon took me in when I was 17 years old. He took an interest in turning a guy down on his luck into a somebody. He fed me, clothed me, foot the bill to send me to a private high school and now, helps me with college tuition."

"And in return?"

Knowing what was on Koby's mind, a life of subtle whoring, Kennety states, "Jon and I never had sex. I was never an actor in any of his movies and don't intend on a career in acting, nor directing. Matter of fact I eventually hope to go into events planning."

Koby thought about it, thought it okay, but asked about his own interests, "Like you have a financial plan set up? You work a certain number of hours and pay him back?"

Leaning against a brick wall, arms folded across chest, Kennety replies with a smile, "Y'know, not everyone who does something charitable expects `payback'?"

Still confused, Koby says, "You're not paying him back."

"Rather," Kennety stands up straight, migrates towards Koby, "Jon, he doesn't expect to be paid back?"

"Oh," Koby realizes, what Kennety just said, but not unaware of the advance, "Jon then is just being a nice guy?"

The soft, light brown hair on Kennety's chest, with another step, could be tickling Koby's smooth pecs, but it was not the head attendant's intentions of making cuddly love. Not just yet. Instead, he relay his feelings, "It would be so easy to kiss you."

With locked eyes, Koby's skin suddenly went blush.

It made the 20 year old smile, as he says, "You know, sometimes Jon does things for a reason and lots of times I'll get pissed off at him, because... Well, I'm old enough to make my own decisions."

Koby had to look down, even though he could feel each of Kennety's hands sweeping over the hairs on his forearms. He hoped, what Kennety was getting at, was how he perceived things, "Don't tell me... Among Jon's many talents, he's a matchmaker too?"

"Uh-huh," Kennety replies in a nasally tone, "and the fact you haven't hauled off and punched my lights out, is maybe you're in the mood for some match-making?" his attention is drawn from, like Koby, strumming of fingers over his hairy forearms as if a fret on a guitar, staring the 19 year old down.

Koby didn't mind at all. His nads were all revved up from the minute he lay eyes on the nude dude. It then occurs to Koby, Jon Darke's snicker, when he was led away by Kennety. Of course! Jon had seen him look over Kennety's shoulder, stare down the valley of Kennety's back and a normal reaction of a gay man, trying to see what he had to work on!

Detecting Koby in `another world', Kennety shifts his gaze back and forth, "Green eyes," like they were part of the thought process, "thinking what?"

"You want the truth first?" Koby replies.

"Either way. You can lie first and then tell me the truth?"

It wasn't really a `lie', but being right now, Koby not wanting at all to scare Kennety off, rather rearranges his thoughts, "Why don't we hang out for a while and see where it goes?"

Agreed by Kennety, he again leads Koby out beyond the enclosed garden, to the pool.

As for Koby, past experience, whenever he used the now common phrase, see where it goes', goes', most of the time led to the parting of legs and what he almost always called a `fantastic orgasm'. However, as he didn't want the eventual opportunity to slip through his hands, the teen paced himself to see where all this was leading.

The fathers, uncle, boyfriends, whichever apply to the gathering of men, standing flank on the outskirts of 2 tables used by the kids, adding refreshment to their afternoon of miniature golf, it's Alex who confides in his partner, "Looks to me like Justin has had enough golf for one day?"

Since he was the father' and main social force in Justin's life, Alex more the breadwinner', Kyle responds with know-how, "Guess again," he sucker-slugs Alex in the tummy, "being tired doesn't even play into it when surrounded by Justin and his buddies!"

"He is right," Jake had to agree, on Alex's other side, "Kids. They got mind of their own. I see it everyday at Rockbottom."

Alex turns his attention to Jake. A few inches taller, it took no effort to look down Jake's shirt, parted by two unhooked buttons. Unknown to any of them, some designers within Alex's circle of friends had toyed with him about design, execution and marketing of something more skimpy for the `bear' crowd. Thinking on this, he goes completely off topic, "Really? Uh, tell me Jake," Alex stuttered, on whether to bring this up, "Have you ever thought about going into modeling?"

Everyone looked, stare at Jake, laughing his ass off! Even Alex laughs, but not because he thought it funny, a gut reaction to following the multitude, but rights it, "No. I'm not joking."

Kyle comes back from the kid's table, whereas Diego, Adam, Adrian, Seamus and Reggie held claim to the kids, saying, "What's so funny, loverman?" Kyle grabs onto Alex's arm.

Now, feeling silly he mentioned it, Alex says, "I went out on a limb and in a roundabout way, mentioned to Jake here if he felt inclined to do some modeling!"

Being it was Jake who's laughter caused a commotion, it also drew in Diego's attention and upon hearing the last half of Alex's comment, "I for one would not mind seeing Jake model something skimpy!"

Jake says, "Oh, thank you!"

Switching back over to the kid's table, Desi noticing something, turns to Antoine, saying, "They're at it again!"

Nodding, it made Antoine look towards the lineup. Among them, Diego had leaned over and kissed Jake. Of this, Antoine draws the correlation, "Oh that! My dad does that with the cable guy all the time!"

`Oh shit!' Reggie was thinking, hearing the truth roll off Antoine's tongue!

Apparently Reggie wasn't the only one picking up on it, the other adult men trading off glances.

Of it, the only thing Reggie could do is say, "Kids!" His tanned complexion looked darker!

"Don't feel bad, mate," Seamus tags Reggie's shoulder, "it happens to all of us!"

It was not intended for youthful ears and knowing this, one by one the men retreated to where Kyle, Alex, Jake and Diego stood, like they were holding up a brick wall.

The kids, satisfied with the main course, were now hacking away at dishes of ice cream, assorted toppings according to who ordered what.

Seamus was the first to open up, telling about how his sister paid a surprise visit, bringing along his 3 little nephews. He went on to tell how he had to toss 2 college lads out the bedroom window, along with their clothes!

He could have pounced on Seamus for that bedroom tale, but instead Adrian, who was not without sin, told much the same story, cleaning up at his restaurant after hours. Yeah, he related how the kitchen was really cooking, even though beyond business hours!

Adam, he quickly evaded the issue about past boyfriends or encounters altogether, saying, "Micah seems like a very level-headed young man."

Without a seedy subject attached, he was skipped over like cold chicken!

Diego missed out altogether, which pleased him, when Reggie reconnects with what Antoine brought up, "Yeah, that cable guy," he looks to the sky, like it holds the answers, "mm-mm... `could only suck on'em one at a time they were so," Reggie uses his hands to gesture, "big and cock... damn, nearly pierced my stomach lineing!"

Alex, taking in the wild tale, also studied the handsome face. Being in the designers and modeling business was no difference than working for a big corporation. Some of the rules were the same, like hiring outside of a circle of certain class of citizens, he hadn't realized it, until someone said something, his models being cloned'. Since this had come up in his trip to Australia, he had been on the lookout. So driven by this, Alex found himself stalking any' guy, at the gas station, standing on the street for a bus or even minor roles of people where he worked. He had never thought much about putting a guy in a brief by his looks from the waist up. More, it interested him in filling out the brief and leaving the other details to his fellow staff members. Later on, it would be Kyle asking Alex about his interest in Reggie.

For now though, the kids were full and wanted to go home and this is what tore the adult men away from their suck and fuck tales!
