Disclaimer

If you are under 18 or not of legal age in your country, please do not read on. If you couldn't accept themes of homosexuality and the like, please don't read on. This is a story concerning gay males having intimate relationships and is considered FOR ADULTS ONLY due to its sexual theme and contents. BUT if you really like this stuff, please don't tell others.

Everything in this story is purely FICTIONAL. Or in simpler terms, it's not true!!! Even if this story involves NSYNC, a real, successful American singing group, and a fictitious character, all that happens in here is fictional... again, it's not true. If there are instances that it is similar to what happened in the real world, it doesn't mean that it's really true. I don't know anything about their sexuality, as far as the I and the world know, they're straight as an arrow so I dunno if they're gay (but I do have my speculations) or not but I wrote this out of freedom of speech and my love for these guys and slash fiction. I don't own or know NSYNC personally. AGAIN, it's NOT TRUE!!! But don't we all hope that it's true... hehehehe...

First Words

Hi guys. This is my 3rd work here in the boyband section of the Nifty Archives. I dunno why I called it "What I See" but I just ran out of ideas for a title and thought of something simple. So the title, What I See was born giggle. I dunno if I can manage my 3 stories at the same time but Crossed Paths is in its "season break" and Reformation is still there. But I'll really try my best to update all my stories. Remember, I love feedbacks.

What I See Chapter 6

I don't know why but when I look at JC, I feel this warm fuzzy feeling inside of me. My body clock seemed to be uninformed that I have vacation today coz I was already wide-awake around 7:00am. Good thing that my brain was already working and I didn't think much of work but only the guy whom I'm with. I think it's been 30 minutes already. 30 minutes of just getting lost with Josh's beauty.

I must say that JC is one of the most magnificent persons I have ever met if not the most magnificent. I mean he is drop dead gorgeous, very talented and very loving and caring. I think everything that I am looking for a guy is in him already. But there's a certain part of me that is very hesitant. We are talking about JC Chasez here! One of the members of a top-selling music group who spends his year traveling almost everywhere. Can I bear a relationship that strenuous?

It was the central issue in this relationship, distance. I don't know if the two of us can cope being away from each other and just hope that the strength of our relationship can salvage it. Let's be realistic. Long distance relationships are hard! Add a homosexual component to that, it's harder. And, to top it, your boyfriend is a famous pop star, making it a very difficult situation. And I'm part of it.

I know that Josh was right last night. I think we should just try it out and let fate run its course. If we are not meant for each other, then we experience a relationship but if we are really meant for each other, then I guess we should thank destiny for letting us meet.

I could feel Josh's hand rubbing my bare chest. When I stared at his face, his eyes were already open with a smile. His smile is so cute. I mean this is different from most of his smiles in pictures that I have seen (trust me I have lots). It is more real and more sincere but I can't explain why I feel this way, it's just how I see it. "Good morning, Kyle." JC greeted me.

"Mornin'." I said giving him a peck. "You slept well?" I asked him as I nuzzled closer to him, our skin touching more. Yeah, we slept in our underwear but nothing happened.

"The best sleep I ever had." JC declared. I 100% agree with him. It was really comfortable and it's like you feel that no one is gonna harm you and you found your other half.

"Come on, take a bath first while I prepare breakfast. We don't want you to be late again for rehearsals." I told him as I tried to stand up from this very soft and comfortable bed. I wish I can just lay down here on this bed with JC, but well, he has his responsibilities to keep.

"Do I have to?" JC whined like a child.

"I dunno. You're the one who's gonna go in rehearsal." I told him. Josh just groaned and sat up. His hair was tangled and very unorganized that made him look like a child. "You look so cute with your hair like that." I cooed. I guess he got a little self-conscious coz he tried to control the hair that was sticking up in almost all directions.

I left him in the room knowing that he can find his way around. I went to the kitchen and thought of something that can be cooked the quickest. Like I said, I don't wanna make him late. I'll just fry some bacon and eggs, that's quick enough. Pookie decided to make her presence known with her high-pitched barks. "I guess you're hungry now?" I said to the dog. I placed some dog food in her plate and she ate happily with her tail wagging like crazy.

It didn't really take a long time for me to cook everything and in no time I was done and so was JC. He walked in the kitchen with his hair properly combed wearing a plain shirt and some sweat pants. Too normal for him.

"You can eat ahead, I'll just take a bath." I told JC as I laid the food on top of the table. Josh sat on one of the chairs and began eating quietly. I went upstairs and did my morning routine. After 10 minutes, I was done and returned to the kitchen finding JC still eating but I think his pace was slow coz there are still lots of food there.

I sat beside him and placed some of the bacon and eggs on my plate. "That was quick." JC commented as he took more food from the serving platter. I guess he still waited for me. So sweet of him!

"It's just a thing that stick with me back in college. I tried to get more sleep but I cut the time in bathing. Sleep is something I cherish the most." I said to him.

"So do I!" JC told me enthusiastically. "With the whacked schedule we have in tour, sleeping is really something I love to do. I mean I can sleep anywhere."

"Me too!" I said to him. "One time, I was waiting in line for registration but Dee had an opening the night before. I slept while standing on the line." I laughed. I was really sleepy and tired that day. If no one nudged me, I guess I didn't register to any subject that day.

Josh made his sexy laugh. I can't believe that I even find his laughter sexy. Am I insane already? The two of exchanged some more past experiences. Some were the embarrassing ones and some were the times when we were so proud of ourselves. When I looked at the watch, it was 8:15 already. "I think I should bring you to your rehearsals now." I said to him pointing at the clock.

"I think you're right. Wade made me run 10 laps yesterday then we went straight to a new dance sequence." JC told me. The two of us walked to my Benz and we drove off to the compound where they were rehearsing. We reached the placed with a few more minutes to spear. "Do you wanna stay?" JC asked hesitantly.

"Do they know?" I asked back.

"They know that I have someone that I'm seeing but they don't know that it's you." JC said somewhat ashamed. I think he's a little ashamed of not telling the others that I am his boyfriend. Well, it's just two days since we talked about having a committed relationship.

"It's okay Josh." I said caressing his cheek. "If you want, I can stay in. I don't have work remember?" I told him. JC nodded happily and I parked my car in the parking lot. There were only two cars in the lot so I assumed that the others are not yet here. The two of us walked to the sorta warehouse-built establishment.

"Don't be nervous." JC took my hand and held it as we walked along the corridors. I could see framed posters of other artists posted along the walls. Well, Josh was right. I was really nervous. This is actually the first time I'm gonna meet them as JC's boyfriend. The last time we met, except Justin was in Dee's club.

"Well, it's hard not to be." I answered him. JC then opened a door and we entered. The room was filled with mirrors and I could hear music blaring from the stereo. I recognized Lance dancing with a tall blond guy who I think is Wade. I think I've seen him in a magazine or something like that.

"I see that you learned your lesson." Wade said with a smug look. He just reminds me so much of Justin. A little smug. Lance was looking at me quizzically prolly thinking when he saw me last.

JC was blushing a little bit. "I did." JC said with a grin. "Wade, Lance this is Kyle, my boyfriend." He said to the two guys. Wade eyed me from head to toe. I hated that.

"I think I've met you from before." Lance said scratching his head.

"I'm Dee's brother. You know, Buzzed." I reminded him. A look of recognition passed his face and he smiled at me warmly.

"So you're the guy that stole JC's heart?" Lance said to me that made me blush. "Aaw, isn't that cute?" He added.

"Stop doing that with my boyfriend." JC said embracing protectively. Now, that's what I call a good boyfriend. "The others are not here yet?" JC asked still holding unto me.

"They just try to be late." Wade said folding his arms. The two of us sat on the floor in a corner as we waited for the remaining members of NSYNC to arrive. Wade was checking his watch frequently as he stood patiently by the door. Lance was trying to figure out the new choreography that Wade taught them yesterday.

"Lance is surely a persevering guy." I stated my observation to JC.

"Yeah. Dancing isn't really his thing so he tends to work more than the rest of us." JC said to me. As I looked at Lance, I could say that he was dancing a little awkward and kept on stumbling in some parts leaving him a little upset. After a few more minutes, the door opened and the noise that was coming from Joey, Chris and Justin suddenly died down once they've seen Wade glaring at them.

"You're late." Wade stated a little bit annoyed. The three just looked so guilty like they were caught red-handed by their mother in mischief. "Start stretching and give me 10 laps around the compound afterwards." Wade turned his back from the three and walked away. I saw Justin looking at me. He hasn't changed that much since the last time I saw him. Actually, he looked more normal coz of the plain shirt and shorts he was wearing.

JC tugged my hand and we walked towards the three. "Guys, this is Kyle, my boyfriend." JC said to them. I smiled meekly but when my eyes met Justin's, it was like he was tearing up. He spun around and walked out of the room.

"Now what?!" Wade said. "Where on earth is Justin going?" Wade asked addressed to, um, I guess to everyone. We all shrugged not knowing the answer. "He's in deep shit." Wade mumbled as he followed Justin out of the room.

"What's with Justin?" JC asked Joey and Chris who again shrugged.

"So you're the guy that JC has been talking about non-stop." Joey said closing in to me. Talking about non-stop? I looked at JC who just blushed a deep crimson red.

"It wasn't that bad." JC said.

"Oh yes it is." Chris nodded his head. "The first time was okay. The second time was still okay but when you've reached the 10th time of telling us what a wonderful guy Kyle is, it becomes a little irritating and tiring." Chris said with a grin. I can't help but to chuckle from what he said. I never thought that JC was talking about me to the guys.

"Don't worry, he's been telling us all your embarrassing tales." Joey said dropping his arm over my shoulder. My eyes went straight to JC shocked.

"I did not!" JC ejaculated.

"Don't worry Kyle. He's been telling us good stuff about you. Nothing to worry about." Lance said walking to us. "Come on, let's start stretching or Wade will surely be mad." Lance told the three who just nodded. Um, where do I go?

"Kyle, you can sit there for awhile. I hate to drag you to this boring rehearsal but I just want to share this to you. I mean this is my life." JC continued rambling.

"I understand Josh. And I wanna stay. I've been to more boring events than what you say this is." I told JC with a smile.

"So we are in a 'Josh' basis already?" Joey half-stated, half-asked as he was laying down stretching his leg. I just smiled weakly and walked to the seat in the corner. After a few minutes, Wade barged into the room once more with a frown.

"You two, start with your laps." Wade pointed at Chris and Joey who just groaned but complied as they walked out of the room starting in a slow jog. "I want you here in 15 minutes. Lonnie will count the laps you're doing so no cheating." Wade shouted as the two closed the door. "For you two, let's start with Up Against the Wall." Wade said to JC and Lance and played the track in the stereo.

From where I was seated, I observed keenly how the two danced. I must say that JC is really a great dancer, no question about that. And Lance is coping but you don't see the full energy that JC was showing. It was like JC was giving his final dance in his life, it was filled with vigor and confidence. The music ended and the two tried to catch their breaths.

"JC, that was a good one." Wade said to JC. "Lance, add more life to it. And bend your knees a little, you look like a stick there." Wade noted. Lance just hung his head low. I mean that was a cruel thing to say but I don't wanna speak and gnash with Wade's ways. Joey, Chris and Justin entered the room trying to catch their breath. "Now you're here, let's do Pop." Wade told the three newcomers.

I think Justin and JC are the greatest dancers in the group. Joey was a little bit slow, maybe the fact that he's getting a little fat is the reason. Chris seemed to be tired already and was slowing down a bit. Still, Lance was managing but a little awkward. I tried to observe their every motion as the music blared from the speakers. It was a tricky dance routine and a little fast.

I caught Justin glancing at me but he immediately shifted his eyes but it made him lose a step. Wade reprimanded him with that. I don't know what's the deal with Justin. Is this gonna be a problem between the two of us? Well, it looks a little awkward coz I dated him a night and the next night, I hit it off with his best friend. It sounds like I am a player but I am not.

Once the song ended, Joey dropped to the floor trying to catch his breath. "Can we have a break?" Joey said through gasps.

"5 minutes." Wade said and walked away leaving the five hurrying up to get bottles of water. Well, the cooler was actually beside me so they were crowding me. With many 'I got this first' fighting for water. But there are lots of them. I think my last count was 30.

"You bored yet?" JC asked then drank at his bottle.

"Nah, I'm actually very amused. When you see it in concert, it looks so perfect but behind the scenes, I can see all the flaws." I told him. JC sat on my lap. "Hey! You're kinda heavy you know." I told him.

"But you weren't complaining last night." JC said with a grin. I just rolled me eyes with his comment but it made me look at Justin. When I saw Justin, he looked like he was so sad with what he was seeing and with the 'last night' comment, I think that added something to it. Justin caught me looking at him and he just averted his gaze and drank from his bottle.

"Come on!" Wade bellowed. "Anything you wanna see Kyle?" Wade asked me gently. Wow, I never thought that he could possibly do it. Maybe it was just the fact that he was doing his job and he is also a sweet person.

I thought for a minute what I would like to see. "The Two of Us?" I answered hesitantly that made the others groan.

"Perfect choice." Wade grinned at the 5 guys. I really liked this song off of their Celebrity album but I guess that fact that it's a fast song flew out of my mind. All I have to do was smile at them sheepishly and be entertained with their act. The guys continued dancing over and over again. I guess it gets to be too much when you hear the same song 3 times because of some mistake that Lance was getting. I can see that Wade was losing his patience already and I feel sorry for Lance. He's been practicing like hell and I can see that he's taking it badly.

I looked at my watch and it read 10:30am. I can't believe that I've been here for just 2 hours. I thought that I was stuck on this chair for 5 hours already. I guess JC is right. This is really boring. "Take 5!" Wade said when Lance tripped with his foot.

JC walked to me with a tired smile on his face. "Tired?" I asked as I handed a bottle of water to him. He just nodded and drank the water. I guess dancing for 2 hours does this to someone. "I'm gonna go out for a while to buy y'all lunch. Anything you want?"

"You don't have to." JC smiled at me.

"But I insist." I told him. It's not solely because I want to buy them food, I also wanted to get out of the room and get some fresh air. It was getting stuffy for me already. "Guys, what do you want for lunch? I'm going out." I told the others giving JC no place to rebut. I was bombarded with lots of orders. Actually, they were mixed. Chris wanted McDs. Joey called for Mexican food. Wade and Lance wanted some Japanese food. I guess I'll have to make lots of trip.

"Is it really okay?" JC asked. I just nodded at him. "I want some Chinese." Josh told me. I took note of their order and noticed that Justin didn't say anything.

"Justin, what do you want?" I asked him with a smile trying to hide the awkward feeling that was coursing around my body. I can't believe that I'm talking to the guy I told that I don't feel anything about him. It was like I dumped him. Justin just shrugged. "Fine, I'll just get you some Chinese as well." I said then walked away.

"Can you change that to McD's." I heard Justin say. I looked back and smiled at him warmly.

It was a refreshing feeling finally getting out of that rehearsal room. The first few minutes was very interesting coz it was like I was having my very own mini-concert from NSYNC. But when they repeated Pop again. And repeated it again. It just tends to be too much. The process of buying all the different food that the guys wanted was tedious but I am not complaining. More time spent outside, less time spent in there.

I looked at my watch and it read 12:05pm. I looked back at the backseat where all the food are placed. I guess all of it is there. I drove back to the compound to bring the lunch to the guys and back to hear the same songs over and over again. With all the different bags from different food establishments at my hands, I entered the rehearsal room and saw them dancing to The Game is Over. When Wade noticed that I have arrived, he turned the radio off and walked to me. "I am hungry." Wade said and helped me carry with the bags and inspecting where his was. Soon, the others crowded over me and Wade and took their own.

They all thanked me, even Justin, and we all ate heartily exchanging stories to each other. But I can't help notice that Justin was still avoiding me. When I would comment with what he said, he would just remain quiet and he didn't even dare to comment on mine. And the fact that Josh was almost throwing himself to me there was not helping the situation. I dunno why but JC was extra playful.

Once everyone was finished eating, Wade called them once again and they began to rehearse again. I threw away all the things that was left over on the table because I really can't stand seeing things unattended. Like I said, I am a very domesticated person and a clean freak. Sometimes, it even frightens Dee and Paul coz they're both slobs.

I tried to shut out the songs that kept on repeating and repeating and concentrated on the guys dancing trying to know them more in their dancing. I even don't know if it's possible but with what I'm seeing, I guess I'm getting to know them; the real guys of NSYNC and not the poster boys of NSYNC. Like I said, Lance is a very persistent guy. Even if most of the times they repeat the dance because of him, I can see the persistence and determination in his face. I think it's overly done that it's causing him to trip or something like that.

Joey and Chris keeps on playing around but the two have their own serious moments. When it was time for them to work, they just change into this new person that is very serious and focused. But when the songs end or Wade calls a break, the two begins their antics even if they're so tired that is traced in their faces already. And Justin, well, I must say that he's a graceful and natural dancer. When he dances, it was so natural to him like he is part of the music. But he was also reserved like he was trying to hide something but I don't get that.

And JC. There's a thousand things that I can say about Josh. I must say that JC is also a natural dancer and there's no bias in that. Sometimes, he would wink at me and still get the steps right like it was part of him. Well, what can I do but blush a little and smile at him. Am I falling for Josh already? I think that this is the best time I was having in a relationship. With the guys that my siblings and friends set up with me, I feel so distant with them like I am just forced to be with them but when I'm JC, I feel so comfortable. I guess that fact that the two of us remained friends first was a good thing coz I already know lots of things about him and he knows lots about me as well making us comfortable with each other.

But the question remains, am I falling for him? I think I am and I'm damn happy about it.

---------------- End of Chapter
