Chapter 40 Out on the Town

The light came on in the room and the figure moved into view of the mirror. His reflection smiled back at him, though it never frowned. Not since the night of the accident that made him the joyous person he was today.

Some movement underneath him caught his attention. He looked down his white torso to the patch of green pubic hair and the hard, white cock that protruded from it. The source of the movement was Harley, or Quinn, he could never be sure who was who, opening her ruby red lips enveloping his member.

"Ah, how nice," the Joker replied as he stood there in the nude with one of his assistants assisting his need.

"Mm hmm," the young woman replied.

After several minutes of this, the Joker chuckled. A few minutes more and he laughed with glee as his orgasm washed over him. The young girl smiled and pulled off swallowing his seed.

"Now, on to phase two," he replied as he walked away.

The young girl got up and followed.

A few minutes later, the Joker walked in front of the dry erase board dressed in his purple uniform. Harley and Quinn sat on the floor fully dressed as well.

"The time has come for us to reclaim what is rightfully ours: the objects of everyone's attention. In order to do that, we need to make some preparations. As you know, a holiday is soon upon these people, and we will do what we can to give them the happiest holiday imaginable. We have so many smiles to share, don't we, girls?"

The two ladies nodded and smiled, chuckling with glee.

"And as such, we need to get the smile to as many as possible. And in order to get as many smiles as possible, we need drugs! Lots and lots of drugs! And we need the manpower to help us out. So, tonight, we go out and get our men. Who's with me?"

"We are, Mr. J!"

"Excellent, ladies! Excellent! Let's round up a posse and jump in my ride!"

The girls giggled, stood up and ran out of the room, with the Joker trotting after them.

The guard at Diall Chemical Company settled in for the evening. His television showed the game and he smiled as Florida scored another touchdown. He grabbed his coffee and took a sip of the hot liquid. He flinched at the taste. 'Coffee from a vending machine was never as good as freshly brewed,' he thought.

A knock came at the window and he saw two smiling, pale-faced girls with their lips pressed against the glass. They blew out and their faces contorted into an amalgam of humor and terror.

"What the..." he said as he stood up.

The two girls pulled away smiling and giggled as they ran away from the booth. He watched as they disappeared into the night. He shook his head and went back to the game.

As he watched, the players move across the field, he heard a ticking sound. At first he thought it was his imagination, but as time went on, he realized it was coming from somewhere. He turned the volume down on his television thinking it was the cheap electronics. But the ticking only became more noticeable. He got up and checked the radio to see if it could be that equipment.

"The ten...the five..." the announcer exclaimed with excitement, though the guard couldn't hear him. Across the screen the word "Touchdown" blinked in excitement as the team scored. The crowd went wild.

The booth exploded in grand fireworks as the Joker, Harley and Quinn looked on in excitement. The three clowns giggled with glee as the flames enveloped everything within the booth, even the guard.

"Too bad about him," Harley said. "He wasn't too bad looking. He would have made a nice bear to cuddle with during the cold, Russian nights."

"Not that you never did a great job," Quinn replied to the Joker, afraid he would be angered by the statement.

"Not to worry, Quinn, my dear. It is nice to cuddle with a bear spooning you. But we must not be side-tracked. We've got a lot to do tonight."

The car revved up headed through the remains of the booth causing the burning materials to scatter across the driveway.

"There's no response from Chuck," the guard at the main security station replied to his superior officer. "Something's going on out front."

"He's probably banging a prostitute or wanking his cock. Give him a few minutes."

The guard sighed and went back to his magazine. Over his head two young jesters somersaulted and cart wheeled up to the door. Behind them the Joker marched with a bomb in his hand. He approached the door and placed the bomb.

The door rattling caught the guard's attention. He looked up to see the two jesters waving at him. Then the clown man stood and smiled.

"Knock, knock."

The guard pressed a red button and an alarm went off. A heavy metal door closed down in front of the glass doors. He picked up the telephone and called the police.

"We have a break-in in progress. Send officers immediately. I repeat. We have..."

He was cut off by the explosion which removed both the glass and the metal doors. The guard dropped to the floor holding the phone. The front door has been breached.

Several guards came down the hallways with their guns pulled. They took aim at the smoking doorway ready for what was coming through the door. To their surprise, a little fire truck came rolling into the lobby.

"What the hell?" one said.

"Where's the fire?" a child-like voice came from the engine. The water gun lifted up off the back and turned to the right. Suddenly, the gun sprayed its contents on the guards, turning and sweeping all of them. The liquid pouring forth, however, was not water, but acid. It hit their thin clothes and burned right through. The guards called out in pain dropping their guns and trying to get the liquid off.

The acid was very powerful and very concentrated. And the spray caused it to hit different guards in different places. Some guards got it on their hands and fingers and appendages fell off at the wrists. Some got it on their legs and the liquid ate through to the back of their legs, causing them to lose their balance and fall. Still others got it on their mid-sections and the acid killed them instantly, although it did not stop with the victims' deaths. Instead, it ate through their bodies, severing them in half.

The Joker, Harley, and Quinn entered the lobby and walked up to the dead and dying. The Joker shook his head and said, "Tsk, tsk, tsk. Look at the mess."

"No wonder they weren't so hospitable," Harley said.

"But they left their computers on," Quinn replied taking a seat behind the console. "We have access to everything!"

"I guess that's their way of making up for the mess," the Joker replied. "You know what we're looking for. Find the room."

Moments later, the Joker, Harley and Quinn were on their way to Ingredients Supply Corporation. They had retrieved the first half of what the Joker needed for his maniacal scheme. He considered the first part of their evening a complete success.

"Let's do the singing telegram this time!" Harley suggested enthusiastically. "I want to do the singing telegram!"

"Fine, fine," Joker replied. "Just get us past the guard."

"Sure thing, Mr. J," she answered enthusiastically.

The guard watched as a young woman dressed as a court jester approached the booth. She smiled widely at him, which made him feel a bit uncomfortable. Her expression never wavered. The woman began to dance and sing, speaking of love and forgiveness.

'Could Alan have sent her?' he thought. 'We had that argument the other day. Maybe this is his way of asking forgiveness and letting me know everything is okay between us.'

As the young woman sang, even though her voice was melodic, the guard realized the words she sang were not so much related to him and his partner Alan, but more along the lines of getting killed. He reached for his gun and she flipped backwards, pulling out a .45 Magnum. Without breaking her song, she fired into the booth several times. The guard fell to his death. She turned back to face where the Joker and Quinn were watching and she finished her song, bowing to them. Quinn clapped gleefully and the Joker exited from the hiding place.

"Excellent work, Harley. I'm very proud." The Joker stepped inside and grabbed the keys off the guard. He pressed a few buttons and the gate opened up. "Let's go shopping!"

The three headed toward the factory with only their objective in mind.

Ten minutes later, dead bodies covered the floor. Harley and Quinn came around the corner. Harley sat on several containers on a cart pushed by Quinn.

"Look what we found, Mr. J!" Quinn said excitedly.

"Ah, Anthrax! That will put steam in a man's stride! And I've got someone whose stride I want steamed! Put it with the other containers, girls!"

The Joker typed a few more commands into the computer system and then shut down the system. The lights darkened and a siren wailed. Red lights flashed alerting anyone on site of an impending natural disaster.

"Time for our departure!" the Joker called out.

The three clowns wheeled their materials out the door and down to their van just as the building exploded.

"Look at all the toxic smoke!" Harley exclaimed.

"The chemicals give it color!" Joker replied.

"Pretty!" Quinn stated.

The three piled the containers into the van and headed down the street.

Moments later, the van pulled into their secret hideout and the three unloaded their cargo. After moving all the chemical drums into place, the three took inventory. Then, the Joker consulted with his notes before beginning his experimentation.

"This is gonna be big!" he exclaimed gleefully.

To Be Continued...

What could the Joker possibly be planning? Only ten chapters to go!
